Here's another version of Chip Comforts Lucky I decided to do.
One night, Lyra went out to run some errands and had Chip watch Lucky until she got back. "I'm going out to run some errands, so can you watch Lucky until I get back?" asked Lyra. "I sure can watch your little brother Lucky," Chip said enthusiastically. "That's good, and Lucky's in bed right now, and I should be home by 2:30," said Lyra.
2 hours later...
Lucky was in bed sleeping until he started tossing and turning and woke up screaming very loudly in terror. "AAAAHHHHH!" screamed, Lucky. Chip had fallen asleep on the couch but woke up and got worried after hearing Lucky's extremely loud and piercing scream.
"Is that Lucky? Oh no! Hang on, little guy. I'm coming!" Chip said in panic. Chip rushed into his room but saw him on his bed, now crying very hard.
"Lucky, what's the matter?" Chip asked in panic. "I had a nightmare, but It was so real!" Lucky said tearfully.
"Aw buddy, come here, come here. It's gonna be okay," Chip said sympathetically as he pulled Lucky into a hug.
"Where's Lyra at?" Lucky asked tearfully. "She's out running errands, but she'll be back soon, and she may not be here right now, but I am. I can comfort you," Chip said sympathetically.
"Do you wanna come to the couch so we can talk about your dream?" Chip asked sympathetically.
"Sure, I guess," Lucky said tearfully. Lucky and Chip walked to the couch with his blanket and sat down to talk about his nightmare.
"Lyra also got banished along my parents and older brother Lucas and Jinx threw me out into the city, causing me to abandoned," Lucky explained tearfully.
Chip then pulled Lucky into a hug, letting him cry as much as he needed, and he explained something to him.
"It's okay, Lucky, your dream wasn't real, and we are all here for you when you need us," Chip said sympathetically.
"Want me to sleep with you for the night?" Chip asked sympathetically. "Yes, please do, Chip," Lucky said, feeling better but still had tears running down.
Lyra had come home at her time she was coming back and saw the 2 sleeping together, realizing Lucky had another nightmare and smiled at the cuteness, and covered them both.
