Monique took a deep breath while looking towards the locked gate. She was just out of view of the cameras. Once she walked into view, it was gametime.

"You got this, girl," she whispered.

She blew out her breath and started walking. She knew she was spotted before she even made it to the gate. She rang the doorbell and waited. It didn't take long before the gate unlocked and a man with dreadlocks stared at her. She knew who he was. His name was Dexter Lumis and he was one of the trusted people of the leader Bo Dallas.

"Hello," she smiled at him. "My name is Monique and I was hoping I could join you guys."

He kept staring at her without saying anything. She kept the smile on her face and didn't give away that she was scared inside.

"I read about this place online and it sounds like just the place for me. I was hoping maybe I could come in and see if that's true. I don't really have any family and this place sounds like one big, happy family. I would love to find a family to be part of," she said.

He turned his head slightly to the side and she noticed the earpiece. Clearly he was being given instructions by someone. He looked at her again, nodded, and stepped aside. She walked through the gate and he locked it again. Without a word he walked towards the house and she followed him in silence. He took her to a room and left her in there with the one man she was there to see. Bo Dallas.

"Welcome to my humble chamber," he said.

There was nothing humble about Bo's bedroom. It was big and full of expensive things.

"It's really pretty," she said.
"So you wanna join us?" He asked.
"If we're the right fit for each other which I'm hoping that we are," she said.
"How did you hear about us?" He asked.
"Full disclosure, and don't hate me, but I have a friend who's a journalist. We went out for coffee and she said she was looking into a new case. She started talking about you guys and I went home and googled. I don't know why she thought there would be a horrible case here to write about because all I could find were good things," she said.
"How did your friend hear about us?" He asked.
"I don't know. She never reveals her sources," she said.
"Give me your backpack," he said.

She handed him her backpack. He opened it and emptied everything out on the bed. There were two sets of clothes, a bottle of vitamins, and her wallet. He grabbed the bottle of vitamins first.

"B12?" He asked.
"I'm a vegetarian. I need to take those," she said.

She knew he would look up the importance of B12 once she was no longer in the room. She wasn't lying. Those were B12 pills and she was a vegetarian. She stayed as close to the truth as possible in this lie. He put the bottle down and grabbed her wallet. He opened it and looked at her driver's license.

"Monique Lexington," he said.
"That's me," she said.

That was a lie. The driver's license was fake. Her name was Monique but her surname wasn't Lexington. She couldn't bring her real driver's license and have him connect the dots to her brother. Her brother that she was desperately trying to find. Her brother that she knew was inside this house somewhere.

"Well, let's put you up for the night. The bedrooms are all upstairs. Nikki will take you to yours," he said.
"Who's Nikki?" She asked.
"Open the door," he said.

She opened the door and there was a woman standing in off-white clothes and a grin on her face.

"That's Nikki," he said. "Don't forget your things."

She looked back at him and saw him put her things back in the backpack. He handed it to her and she gave him her best smile.

"Thank you," she said. "So far I really like what I'm seeing here.
"That's good," he smiled back. "We'll talk tomorrow after a good night's sleep. You'll also meet everyone else tomorrow. You arrived late and they're all asleep right now. Goodnight, Monique."
