Once again Monique was up early. She was filling glasses with water and placing them on the tray when Bo entered the kitchen.
"Good morning," she said.
"You'll be getting a roommate tonight," he said.
"That sounds lovely," she said.
"Nikki will be moving in with you. You're both working close to me so I need you close together," he said.
She gave him a fake smile while crumbling inside. Nikki might be a problem.
"That makes sense," she said.
She grabbed the bottle of pills and put it on the tray.
"I better get going with my round," she said.
He nodded and she left the kitchen. She walked from room to room like the day before and handed out pills. Once again she could feel she was being watched but she didn't react to it. She opened the door to her brother's room and saw all three of them already sitting up.
"Time for your pills, boys," she said.
She walked closer and saw tears in Dean's eyes. He reached a hand forward but she shook her head. She couldn't risk being caught if he stood up to hug her. Instead their blue eyes talked in silence for a second before she gave them a glass of water each.
"Your hair," Dean whispered.
"We look too alike," Monique whispered back.
She had reddish blonde, curly hair like him but she had dyed it dark brown before entering the place. Only their eyes gave away the similarity between them, and a lot of people had blue eyes like them. She nodded at them and left the room to continue with her round. She made it down to the kitchen where Bo was still standing.
"How do you like it here?" He asked.
"I love it," she said.
"I figured," he chuckled. "Welcome home, Monique."
She broke out in a smile and he smiled back at her.
"Now get moving. The kitchen staff is coming down," he said.
She nodded at him and left the kitchen. She walked up to her room and waited in silence until an order was given.
"Everyone, follow!" Erick yelled.
Once again they all walked in a line downstairs to eat breakfast, and once again Bo gave the order for everyone to tend to their usual chores. Nothing ever changed around there. Bo held the power over several people and he clearly got off on it.
She went to the kitchen and waited until it was time for her next round. She got the tray ready and went out to serve everyone their pills. She found her brother and his friends in the garden once again and handed them a B12 each.
"Tonight," Dean said.
"He's moving Nikki into my room," Monique said.
"She won't be a problem," Roman said.
"The others will," Monique said. "Are you sure you're ready for this?"
"We're ready," Seth said.
"Stay awake, sis," Dean said. "We're getting out of here tonight."
