Sage stared out into the open field in front of her.

There were white flowers all around and beneath her. They were all different types of flowers. It went on for miles, as far as the eye could see. The breeze went through the flowers, pulling them with it.

Annabelle smiled and her tail swayed. It wasn't anything special, but she was glad to see Sage enjoying herself.

They looked at the gardenias close by. The gardenias were as white as Sage's hair, and they were lovely like she was too.

It was perfect if one asked Annabelle.

They took one, walked over to Sage, and put it in her hair.

She turned around immediately.

"There we go," Annabelle softly started, "something nice for my little Digital Gardenia."

A light blush spread across her face. She looked away from Annabelle. The black and red on her body flickered into white and blue.

Even if Sage didn't show it, Annabelle knew she had a smile on her face.

"…Thank you, Mother." Sage quietly spoke.

Their tail wagged. "Anytime, Sage."

Annabelle sat down.

She rested on her hand. She couldn't help but stare at her. They were happy to have Sage in their life.

Sage peeked at them before she looked away again. Annabelle could've sworn that her blush had gotten bigger. She smiled wider, almost chuckling.

They knew why she looked away, well an idea why at least.

She had a crush on them, but she didn't say anything about it.

Annabelle decided to let Sage take her time.

A/N: If you go to offer me any commissions or anything involving money, it's an automatic no. I'm glad you enjoy my works, but scream to me about my works instead of making offers, scam or not. Do so anyways and I'll ignore you. Do so more than once and I'll block you. I'm genuinely tired of it. Thank you in advance if you respect my wishes.
