A/N I will be working on my other stories, too. I just had a sudden urge to continue writing this one first. (Had the first half of this chapter written for months.)
"I want to have a baby," Andy blurted out to Robert after they finished showering.
Robert was so shocked that he dropped his towel, making Andy aroused by Robert's sudden nakedness.
"Not that I don't love seeing you naked," Andy started, throwing Robert some underwear and pants. We have to get to work, but Robert," Andy walked closer to Robert and held his hands, looking into her husband's eyes. "I want to have a baby, babe," Andy told him, a soft smile on her face and tears shining in her eyes.
Robert looked at his wife, shock and excitement filling him. He had wanted a baby with Andy for the past year but was scared to say anything with Andy finally becoming Captain recently. He thought she'd want to solely focus on her career and because she kept getting her chance ripped from her, he understood.
Robert pulled Andy into a bruising kiss, smiling as he did. "I'd love to, baby," Robert said, holding Andy close to him. "We should finish getting ready for work," Robert said, passing Andy a shirt since she was just wearing a bra right now.
Andy nodded and put the shirt on. Both of them rushed downstairs to grab their go bags and got in the car, Robert driving.

It was 10 minutes later that they got to the station and walked in, hand and hand. Andy tried to hide the grin on her face but was unable to. Before going into her office Andy kissed Robert's cheek and as Robert walked away she couldn't hide the smile on her face.
"What's got you all smiley?" Andy heard Vic ask from behind her.
"Robert," Andy said simply, a smile still taking hold on her face.
Vic furrowed her eyebrows. "What happened?" Vic asked.
Andy's smile faded, "It's something I want to keep between us for now," Andy told her. "Sorry."
Vic shook her head, "It's okay, Cap. You should get changed since the shift starts in a few minutes."
Andy rolled her eyes, having known she would have to rush to get dressed since she had come in slightly late. Andy rushed into her office's bunk and got changed before calling for a lineup.
Andy waited in the barn, waiting for her team to join her. Everyone joined her in less than a minute, and Andy's lips turned up when she saw her husband smiling at her from the catwalk. Andy shook herself out of her relationship bubble and turned her focus to her team.
"Good morning, 19," Andy started, smiling at her team. "First off I want everyone to do chores first thing. I want to do some drills later," Andy explained. "Bishop, Hughes you're on aid car," Andy looked at them and when she saw Maya's mouth open she raised a hand. "everyone gets a turn on every rig. You know the rule," Andy said, slightly glaring at Maya knowing she was about to argue with her in front of the whole team. "Gibson, Ruiz, Zamora, Beckett and Kline on engine. Montgomery, Finch, Cutler, Martin and Richards on Ladder while Emerson will be on desk duty today."
Andy watched everyone nod and move out of the barn while Maya stayed.
"Something I can help you with Bishop?" Andy asked, an eyebrow raised.
Maya opened her mouth but closed it a second later, almost as if wanting to ask something. Andy frowned when Maya didn't say anything.
"You okay, Maya?" Andy asked, confused.
Maya nodded. "Yeah, sorry. I was just thinking that you look extra happy today," Maya explained.
Andy nodded and smiled. Maya noticed that something was different about this smile than Andy's other ones.
"Did something new happen? Something that no one knows about?" Maya asked, wanting to know what was going on with her best friend.
Andy nodded. "Something new is going on. It's kind of private right now," Andy told Maya.
Maya nodded. "Okay. I get it," Maya smiled. "I better get going and do my chores," Maya said and walked out of the barn.
Andy sighed and tried to control the giddiness she was feeling right now, so she went to her office, closed the door and then sighed. All she wanted to do was have a more detailed conversation with Robert about wanting to be pregnant, so she sighed again, got up and was making her way to his office upstairs when the klaxon went off, alerting that there was an emergency.
