(Chapter 04)
(35 BBY - Konoha)
It was a beautiful sunny afternoon in the village of Konoha, you could hear birds filling the area around them with their beautiful songs or were soaring through the air. While down in the streets we find they are filled with merchants trying to sell their merchandises to the people that would pass by their stands, crowds of both young and old were walking along either buying things, chatting and hanging with their friends or were on their way to work.
Children could be seen having fun as they played with one another in either the streets, parks or playgrounds. While the older kids who were in their teens were either training in their ninja arts with their senseis and teammates or in case of most of the boys, were working so they could help support their families.
As this was going on, we come upon a red building that stood in front of a mountain, which had four stone faces with two of those faces being men, while the other two were women. Within the building we see an elderly man in his sixties sitting at a desk with a crap ton of papers stacked in front of him.
This person was non-other than Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Sandaime Hokage of Konoha and had also earned the title of the professor of Shinobis. A sigh had escaped him as he leans back into his chair, having just finished the last stack of paperwork for a space port to be built close by the leaf village.
And now, all that he wants to do is just sit back in his chair, take a poof from his pipe and read his book.
Knock knock knock
'Son of a' "Enter" Hiruzen calls out, even though he wanted the person knocking on his door to go away and let him relax.
Hastily walking in was his secretary with four scrolls in her hands "Hokage-sama! You have just received reports from lady Jira and the three Anbu squads, that were sent out" she urgently informs him quickly placing the scrolls in front of Hiruzen.
Upon hearing that caused Hiruzen to quickly grab one of the scrolls his secretary had placed in front of him, dismissing her Hiruzen began reading the contents of each of the reports 'so that is what's going on, over on the other side of the barrier' he thought to himself as he read the reports from Jira and one of the other Anbu teams, he and his Kage counterparts had sent to gather information on the other continents, that were beyond the barrier a year prior.
His thoughts then briefly went back to the day, following the death of his sensei and the second Hokage Tobirama Senju, after she had nominated him to be the third Hokage. A few days had passed, when he had finished doing a large stack of paperwork, he decided he wanted a drink and knew there was a bottle in one of the drawers.
During his search, Sarutobi had discovered a secret drawer and upon opening it he had found a scroll, that his predecessor Tobirama had left behind, for whoever she had nominated to succeed her.
The contents of that scroll explained that the world was divided into two by a special barrier, which was created by the sage of six paths a long time ago. It stated he had created this massive barrier around the Elemental Nations, as a means to protect the other continents from any influence Chakra would have on the rest of the world.
Since he gave humanity the ability to use Chakra, he had seen how the people of the Elemental Nations, had begun using this power as a weapon.
Something to use against one another in bad ways.
As Hiruzen had continued to read that scroll, he began to wonder how his predecessor knew about the barrier and how it was created. Then, as if something heard his unspoken question, he came to a part of the scroll that read, she and her brother were told of this secret by her sister in-law Mito Uzumaki.
Upon thinking of said woman, Hiruzen put the report down and look up on his desk to a picture frame before he reached over and took it into his hand.
Bringing it closer, it revealed a picture of three individuals, which consisted of himself, Yoda and Naruto. The former had a big smile on his face with a fishing pole in his left hand, while in his right, he was holding up a big fish and was showing it to the Droid M1-4, who had taken the photo for them.
A smile appeared on Hiruzen's face as he stared at the picture, it was taken a few days before Naruto left with Yoda, to begin his training with the Jedis on Coruscant 'hard to believe, it's already been three years, since you left' he said to himself as he thought about the boy.
His mind then wandered to the Kage Summit he had called three years ago, which caused a shiver to go down his spine as he reminisce about that day 'I do not want to have to go through that again,' he thought to himself with a grimace, as it had went a little south in the beginning, when he had introduced Yoda and M1-4 to the other Kages and the Daimyos.
He then shook his head, clearing his mind of those events before placing the picture frame down and went back to reading the observation reports.
While he continued reading the reports, Hiruzen then came upon a section that peaked his interests, which had a storage seal under it 'what is this IS system, Jira is talking about?' he thought to himself before he placed his thumb on the seal and a small puff of smoke came from it with several photos appearing from the seal.
Knock knock
'What now?' he mentally growled to himself as he wanted to see what the photos contained.
"Enter!" he shouts
(Meanwhile on Coruscant)
"LOOK OUT! MOVE OUT OF THE WAY! PICK A LANE!" came the shouts of an 8-year-old boy with short spiky blond hair.
He was hulling ass as fast as his leg could move, dodging and weaving in-between crowds of Jedis, apprentices and a few fellow younglings.
His loud shouts caught the crowd's attention, causing them to turn their heads and watch as the boy in an orange-colored tunic and beige pants ran past them. Some wondered why he was in such a hurry, while a few were either giggling or face palming, as they had a theory on why.
"NARUTO!"
The sudden cry made everyone in that large hallway, look back to where Naruto had just come from and confirmed, what a few of them had thought. Which was an angry red-skinned Mikkian girl with short blue tendrils-like hair, running around the corner she came to a stop to see where Naruto had run off too.
She seemed to be a few years older than the boy and was wearing the same type of clothing as him.
Upon seeing where he was, she began chasing after him and started shouting as loud as she could at him "WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU, YOU'RE GOING TO WISH YOU HADN'T DONE THIS!".
Laughter could be heard, as the crowd had seen the reason for her being angry and was chasing after young Naruto, and that was because of the multiple green inked doodles that covered her face with a small yellow foam ball, being glued to her nose and her clothing were covered with multicolored polka dots.
"Hahaha, there's no way you'll catch me Tiplee…" Naruto gloats out loud as he took a tight right turn down another hallway, which he knew headed towards a nearby atrium "…if a group of knights couldn't catch me, what makes you think you can?" he taunts with a laugh then took a sharp left.
This only caused Tiplee to get more annoyed at the boy and became more determined to catch him.
(Jedi Council Room)
While the two children were running and being loud throughout the temple's corridors, they were unknowingly being watched by multiple cameras, that were being displayed by a blue tinted holographic projection in the Jedi high council room for the master's to watch.
They watched as both Naruto and Tiplee were running towards one of several atriums, that were within the Jedi Temple before a sigh was heard "once again" came Mace's voice as this was the ninth time this month, Naruto had pulled another prank on either one of his fellow younglings or somebody that annoyed him enough to get on his list.
"Entertaining, his pranks be-becoming" came the laughter of a short-stacked female from Yoda's species, sounding very amused at what she was seeing as she and the other masters in the room continued watching the chase.
Another sigh was heard making some in the room to look and see it came from a male Kel Dor "as amusing, as they are master Yaddle, I really wish he would use some of that focus he puts into his pranks, on his studies" he said lightly shaking his head as he also watched the screen.
The smiles on both Yoda and Yaddle's faces grew, as they watched the event on the projection "a learner of books he is not, master Plo…" Yoda tells the identified Plo Koon, he came to learn what type of learner Naruto was these past three years "...by action, he learns best".
Continuing to watch the kids run around, Yoda thought back to all the times he had personally witnessed Naruto studying in classes from time to time and from what he saw, the young boy struggled somewhat with the academic aspects of his training. However, Yoda and a few others did contribute it to Naruto still having a little bit of trouble with reading and understanding 'basic'.
Now, when it came to the practical side of his studies, Naruto was excelling in those fields, since this allowed him to have a more hands-on approach with his training.
His lightsaber training was challenging for him in the beginning, since Naruto never held a weapon like it before let alone, seen such a weapon. But after a little while, Naruto had complete confidence in his handling of a lightsaber and had already learned Form 1 and was excelling in the basic steps of Form 3, as well as Form 6.
And his ability to use the Force was good, since he has a pretty high Midi-clarion count. However, they all learned he wasn't able to use both his chakra and the Force at the same time, as it imbalanced his concentration on using one or the other.
Yoda had also come to a realization a while ago, that these pranks Naruto pulls actually helps him somewhat, as it teaches him curtain things he would have trouble with, if he had read it from a book or listened to an instructor's explanation.
It also wasn't just him that was learning from his pranks, but also those he had done them too. They learned to always be observant of their surroundings, never to underestimate his quick thinking for ways to escape their wraith and that the security around the Temple needed to be improved in certain areas.
Although, even if they did improve the security systems in all areas of the temple and increase the number of Jedi Sentries within certain areas, Naruto would usually find ways to get round those improvements in two to three days' time.
Many of the Jedi sentries, wished they knew how he kept sneaking passed them and were trying to find a way, to get him to join the sentry corps.
As they continued watching Naruto being chase, they saw him deke out a few temple guardians, who tried to stop him.
Tried being the keyword, since he slid between their leader's legs before he used a bit of his chakra and vaulted over the last guardian when she went to grab him.
Even though he had managed to give the temple sentries the slip, Tiplee still continued to chase after Naruto swearing to pay him back for doodling on her face (giggity) and ruining her clothes. The master's then saw that the kids were nearing an atrium "master Plo, bring to us Naruto, if you would?" Yoda asks him, which earned a nod from the Kel Dor master.
"Of course, master Yoda" he says before standing up from his seat and give a bow to Yoda before leaving to retrieve the boy.
"Also help, I shall" Yaddle volunteered since she was one of the few, that could catch Naruto whenever he went too far on a prank, she also stood up from her seat and hoops on Plo's shoulder, as he passed by and off they went.
Turning back to the screen, Yoda saw that Naruto seemed to have picking up a bit more speed before he took one last turn in the final corridor, which led to the atrium that was near the dormitories "Oh, looks like he's going to try and jump across again" a Iktotchi spoke as he leans forward, wanting to see if he could do it this time.
They all look on and watched, wanting to see what was going to unfold.
(Back with Naruto)
Seeing that he was just about at the end of the hallway, Naruto took one final look back to his pursuer and saw that Tiplee was slowing down slightly. which was due to exhaustion finally kicking in, since she had continually been chasing him for well over twenty minutes now.
A smile appeared on Naruto's face, before he looks forward again and started pushing a little bit more of his chakra into his legs, granting him a bit of a boost in speed.
It didn't take long for Naruto to reach the atrium, and when he did, it also took less than a second for Naruto to leap up onto the ledge and used all of the strength and Chakra, he could muster into his legs to launch himself forward.
When he vaulted off the ledge, it burst as he launched himself into the air and while he was soaring through the air, Naruto took a look back to see that Tiplee had stopped, when she reached the atrium and was looking at him with a shocked expression on her face.
He was able to also see that a few others, that had just witnessed him leaping off of the ledged wall, were shocked as well.
Looking forward, Naruto saw he was about halfway across the atrium and only had one thought going through his head 'oh this might have been a bad idea' as he noticed, he was beginning to lose momentum and was about to slam into the ledge of the floor he had aimed for.
BLAM
"Ohf" the sounds of Naruto colliding against the stone ledge, as well as getting the wind knocked out of him, echoed throughout the atrium causing everyone in the area to cringe and look away, when he hit the wall.
Getting over their momentary shock, they all immediately look to see he was falling, which made everyone gasp in horror.
Being momentarily stunned by hitting his chest against the stone balustrading edge, Naruto wasn't able to think of grabbing onto it and even if he did, he wouldn't have had the strength in that moment to hold himself there for long.
It took a moment for Naruto to finally be able to breathe again and get his bearings back.
He then reached his hands out to grab onto the ledge for the floor below and had manage to grab onto said stone ledge, although the next second Naruto's left hand slipped.
Which left him dangling and forced him to look down to the ground.
Upon seeing that it would be a long way down to the ground, it caused a sudden rush of vertigo to hit the boy and felt a bit of fear crept into him.
Naruto then tried to reach for the ledge again and was about to grab it. However, two pairs of hands suddenly grabbed onto both of his hands and started pulling him up "what are you doing Naruto? Are you crazy?" a young girl yelled at him with a grunt, as she and another struggled to pull him up.
A smile appeared on his face, when he looked up and saw who was helping him, the one to his right was a green skinned Twi'lek. Her name is Laranth Tarak, she looked to be about the same age as him. She had on a leather headpiece and was wearing a pair of brown tunic and pants.
As Laranth was pulling him up, he looked to his left and saw his other friend that was helping the Twi'lek, was a sandy-yellow furred Cathar by the name of Cheetara. She had long blond hair with brown spots, which reached her mid back and two bangs that framed her face, she had pale pink markings around her light red eyes.
Cheetara was also the same age as them and she wore a tan variation of what Laranth has on.
It took them a few seconds, but the two girls were finally able to pull Naruto up and over the ledge, followed by a thud as he fell to the ground on his front with the two girls collapsing to their knees/butt, due to pulling him over the balustrading, it took a bit out of them.
"Thanks, Laranth and Cheetara" Naruto says to them, sounding a little exhausted before he slowly lefts himself up into a sitting position and rest against the stone ledge before looking over to them "I thought, I was going to fall there for a minute" he says with a sigh and smiled at the two.
They, however didn't look so happy with him and when he thanked them, they got up to their feet "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING NARUTO!" they both shouted at him as loud as they could, which echoed throughout the atrium and gained more attention on them.
"Do you know, how dumb that was?" Laranth questions him folding her arms together with an angry expression and sound very mad at him.
"You could have gotten really hurt, or had fallen to your death" Cheetara scolds him with a frown on her face, as she placed her hands on her hips with her tail flickering.
As Laranth and Cheetara continued scolding Naruto for his reckless stunt, Tiplee was watching from across the atrium and looked relieved that he had barely managed to make it across with the help of their friends. However, she started hearing some of the others around her making comments about him.
"Why must that child always make such a commotion like this?" questioned a Mirialan Jedi Knight, letting out a sigh and shaking her head. Tiplee saw she was clad in a black gown like dress that hugged her curves nicely and had on a black headdress.
"Wow that was amazing!" a Zabrak initiate said as she had seen Naruto jump across and was really amazed at his courage to do that.
"I'm so glad, that knucklehead made it across" a Rutian Twi'lek Padawan sighed out in relief as she thought he wasn't going to make it.
After hearing their comments about the boy's stunt, Tiplee then looks back across the atrium and saw Naruto was still being scolded by their friends. Although, she wished she could be across the atrium, so she could pummel him for drawing on her face, dying her clothes in polka dots, gluing a ball to her nose and scaring her like that.
She however let out a sigh 'I'll just wait until our classes has matches again' Tiplee figured as she would get back at him the next time their classes had another tournament and left to go see, if she can find anything else to change into and for a way to get the ball off her nose before her next class began.
As Tiplee left the atrium, a woman with neck length silver hair silently appeared from a swirl of wind, a few feet away from the three younglings.
The woman appeared to be in her mid-twenties, she had on an open green flak vest over a fishnet mesh shirt with two black sleeves and a black mask sewn to it, a tight pair of low-hip riding black pants, a metal plated headband with a leaf symbol covering her left eye and had a Tanto sword strapped to her back.
She stood there for a moment, watching as the two girls yell at the boy before she decided to lean against the wall behind her and pull out a small orange book from a pouch, she has hanging from her hips.
With her book in hand, the woman opens it to the last page she was on and starts reading "you know Naru-chan" she says out loud, causing the two girls to stop their scolding.
Getting the three to look back to the silver haired woman "you sure are forcing me to miss out on my Icha-Icha time with this stunt, you just pulled" the woman finishes as she looks up at him with her lone eye narrowed.
A shiver went up Naruto's spine when he saw her narrowed eye leering at him and tried to back away, however he remembered he was up against the ledge and had nowhere to go. Noticing this, Naruto let out a nervous chuckle "hey Kazumi-nee-chan! wh-what are you doing here?" he meekly asks feeling a little worried.
"Oh, just checking on why it was so noisy in the temple and low and behold, I find you causing a ruckus again" the identified Kazumi says as she stares at the boy "so my question is, what should your punishment be, this time?" she asks the young man as he lightly sweats.
"Umm, run laps around the temple!?" Naruto cheekily answered with uncertainty in his voice.
"For starter, sounds good" spoke a mature woman, causing the four to look and see both Master Plo Koon and master Yaddle walking towards them with Naruto slightly going pale when he saw them.
"Other punishments, in council chamber, be discussed" Yaddle finished.
A groan escaped Naruto when he heard that "now come on Naruto, master Yoda would like to have a word with you" Plo says to the boy.
When he stood in front of him with his hand held out, so he could help the boy back up to his feet. He looks over to Kazumi "miss Hatake, if you wouldn't mind joining us, to ensure young Naruto doesn't try to run" he asks the woman.
Kazumi nods before she closes the book in her hand and puts it back into her pouch "I don't mind" she says as she pushed herself off the wall.
"Okay" Naruto sighed out and took Plo's hand.
When he got up to his feet, Naruto looks over to Laranth and Cheetara "I'll see you two in a little while" he says to them and starts walking with Plo and Yaddle beside him, while Kazumi followed behind them to make sure that Naruto didn't try to run from his punishment (she feels the need to avenge her Icha-Icha alone time)
(Time skip)
A few hours had passed, since Naruto was brought to the high council for his punishment, which after an hour of debating over. It was decided that one of his punishments would be, that his regime for both his Jedi and Shinobi training being made much more difficult for two weeks by the use of weighted clothes with Fuuin-jutsu seals lining the inside.
His other punishments were to clean the air ducts for the entire temple for one month, since he likes to go into them and would always be under the supervision of a droid at all times while he worked. And for the last punishment, he was to wash the beddings and clothes for his clan house for two weeks and it was to be done by hand.
We now find our young hero in the air-ducts doing his job, after he had finished his studies and training sessions "man, this is going to take me till an hour after curfew to finish" Naruto muttered to himself as he brushes the air duct he was in.

"I am!" Naruto snipped at the mouse droid that appeared in front of him, after being told to get back to work.
As he was cleaning Naruto looked up and noticed there was a grate ahead of him and upon reaching it, he wanted to know where he was. So he took a glance out of the air-duct and saw, he was peering into one of meditation chambers on the level he was cleaning.
"Mmm" he suddenly heard what sounded like a moan coming from within the room.
Moving closer to the grate, Naruto was able to get a better look in the room and saw there were two people in the room. The first one was a green skinned Twi'lek named Finn Ertay, who had recently been promoted to Jedi Knight, if he heard correctly.
While the other woman was a Mirialan and her name was Luminara Unduli, whom was another Jedi and someone that he didn't like, since she had belittled his views on a comment he made about 'attachments' and vowed to change her opinion on it.
However, a blush suddenly appeared on Naruto's face, upon noticing they were both naked on a padded mat and were in the middle of something…grown up.
