"What a busy day," Ladybug yawned, slumping down by Cat's side as they started patrol. "Who knew we'd end up fighting a villain who liked to draw pictures?" Cat grinned, and Ladybug was quiet.

"Little Maya ended up being sweet though," Ladybug mused. "I saw myself in her." Cat softly cleared his throat. "My Lady, you didn't make objects come to life though, did you?"

Ladybug laughed, and the moon came out from playing peek-a-boo with clouds, dipping the heroes in sliver. "No, though that would have been cool. I was always drawing even before I begin to sew."

She figured it was safe to tell him this, as she knew many girls who sewed. Ladybug's voice was soft as she continued, her teasing tone now gone. "I hope to have a girl like her someday."

"How's your love life?" Cat asked. "I know I asked earlier, but…." Ladybug blushed. "Even without the mask I make complicated plans, Kitty. Even though I enjoyed the date, I need to remind myself to just be myself."

"I wouldn't anyone but you to be you, M'lady. I like you the way you are." Ladybug was glad the darkness hid her darkened cheeks, and she nudged him playfully. "You know, I'm not the only Ladybug anymore, nor is there only one Cat Noir!"

Cat puffed out his chest. "I beg your pardon, but there can only be one Cat Noir. Though I wonder if Claw ever did choose a name." They giggled together, and Ladybug looked up at the sky. "I miss them, you know. Though I can see we both took inspiration from them."

"The main thing is that their happy," Cat reminded her. "Yeah," Ladybug was quiet again. "Happy." "Cat?" she looked at her partner. "Yes, Bugaboo?" "I'm glad it's just us tonight, though…."

Cat waited for her to finish her sentence, but only a soft snore escaped her. Cat pulled her close, and Ladybug snuggled up, listening to her beating heart.

She was happy right now, content, and totally at peace.
