Ziva was coming home today and Tony got the details from Jimmy. When Jimmy texted Tony that Ziva was on the plane, he felt excited and relieved but also scared to tell his daughter the news. The next day, around eight in the morning, Tony and Tali waited. He has his phone in hand ready to push the record button. Tali was confused, hurt, and angry and her father for keeping this large secret from her. She still wasn't speaking and looking at him.
"Ok, I know this doesn;t make sense and you're angry at me but Tali your Ima is coming soon and I expect a smile on that face. Be mad at me, not your mother. Do I make myself clear?" said Tony sympathetically but sternly. Tali did as she was told but her smile wasn't genuine. "Thank you" said Tony. Then a marine came in, said nothing, but Tony knew she was here. He nodded and switched his camera to video. "Ok Tals". They were standing at the entrance. Then Ziva comes in. When she first sees Tali she is shocked to see how tall she is and excited to reunite with her daughter. The mother and daughter lock eyes and Tali's anger disappears and just wants to hug her mother. "Mom!" she says. "Oh, motek!". Then Tony stops the recording. Ziva then locks eyes with her partner, and she knows he's angry, but Tony is smiling and has tears forming. "Hi" says Ziva. "Hi" says Tony. "Hey Tals, can you sit on the couch for a moment" says Tony. She nods and obeys. "Tony, I understand that you're ang…" but gets cut off when he just lunges into her for a hug and cradles her head. She just melts and closes her eyes. "I'm so glad you're safe" they break apart, a little bit, and go for a forehead kiss. "We can deal with it later. Welcome home". Ziva is sobbing at the moment and goes back to hugging him. The parents, not knowing that Tali is watching them and is glad that she has a full family.
