Prologue
Princess Viserra Targaryen and her husband John Lannister her second husband after her first husband Theomore Manderly, Lord of White Harbor died after only one year of marriage. Often customs that she was known as Dowager Lady Manderly a rank higher than all the members of the Manderly family.
When she was chosen after another year of widowhood. She became the leading chambermaid to tend to the future king Viserys and his brother the future Rogue Prince Daemon Targaryen.
It was there she met and fell in love with John Lannister who was the squire of Prince Baelor Targaryen. She married John Lannister in secret in the later year of that early winter without seeking the King's permission.
When upon learning of this secret marriage, King Jaehaerys was furious. Since Princess Viserra had been given do granted dower lands following her first husband's death on condition that she does not remarry without a royal permission.
To compensate for this secret marriage, the couple gave the king 1,000,000 dragon golds which brought a little begrudging forgiveness from the old king.
After it shows that King Jaehaerys has grown weary as he lost both sons, Aemon and Baelor. He allowed seven kingdoms powerful lords and bannermen to vote for the new heir to between Princess Rhaenys daughter of Crown Prince Aemon Targaryen and Viserys Targaryen son of Prince Baelor.
The vote was obviously as they preferred a male heir over a woman.
The new king Viserys and his wife and cousin, Aemma Arryn. It was a rather glorious day as Richard was given a new land and title as style Baron of Rivers which they live on the river sides of Westland's. He became the leading party of House Targaryen supporters.
As Viserra became head of the court ladies to the new queen Aemma Arryn. This gives their house branch of Lannister powerful positions as they are heavily favored by King Viserys himself.
The marriage is long and fruitful, and it results in fourteen children. Quite the accomplishment, as expected that their fertility managed proven as she is the daughter of King Jaehaerys I and his sister-wife Queen Alysanne Targaryen who had thirteen children.
And one of those children happened to be her daughter, Contessa Lannister the woman who will one day wear the crown as Queen.
Contessa Lannister earned her nickname the Lady of the Greens.
