It was an intense Hot Day in Herkleton, a Heatwave struck the Neighborhood, and because of this most of the Creek Kids have taken Shelter Indoors only a few brave ones were out sticking to the shades of the trees to hide from the sun. Among the Kids were Craig Williams, Sparkle Cadet, Cannonball, and Diane who were hiding under a tall tree.
They were each licking an Ice Pop they got at one of the Duck Mart Locations in their area, but not even their sticky fruit flavor frozen ice sweets on wooden sticks wouldn't save them this time. They were sweating which formed on their skin dripping down and into their clothes as their tongues stuck out of their mouths while lying on the base and the trunk of the Oak tree.
"Man, it's so Hot!" Craig lamented.
"Well, there's nothing to do," added Diane. "The Comic Book Store is closed and no new comic books not even Slide the Ferret!"
"All the Ten Speeds have gone Indoors, so there's nothing much to do," sighed Cannonball.
"Looks like I'll have to make the Long Trek Home, I wonder if the Palace Air Conditioner would be repaired by then." Sparkle Cadet lamented while lying flat on her back on the grass.
"I agree, it's too hot to do anything!" Craig replied. "I mean every Creek Kid and Everyone has disappeared and gone indoors!"
"Craig, there's gotta something we can do?!" complained Diane.
"Wait! You wanna hear this?" Cannonball stood up upon getting an idea.
"Yeah?" They replied.
"Whatever The Ten Speeds and I get exhausted we relax in this secret swimming hole," Cannonball explained.
"That's a Great Idea, Cannonball!" Craig said with excitement.
"A refreshing dip in the water would be Nice!" added Sparkle Cadet.
"Same here, where should we meet up?!" asked Diane.
"Near the Entrance of the Creek," Craig told the rest of the group.

Later, that afternoon, they returned to the Entrnace of their creek now carrying with towels and swimwear.
"I'm glad you all made it," said Craig.
"Now we can begin our quest for the Hidden Oasis," Diane added with excitement. "I hope nothing bad would happen?"
"There could be Heat Monsters out they are more active during this time," Sparkle Cadet
said with concern.
"Or standing around in the sun, wanna say we get going?"
"Agreed!" they all said.
Soon they begin their journey into the creek, they trek for a while, and the heat begins to intensify as sweat begins to form around their bodies, and start panting with their tongues out.
"Must… keep going," Craig groaned as he was getting far behind.
"I'm not letting the heat Monsters get you Craig, hop on!" Sparkle Codet told Craig to climb on her back as she carried him by piggyback.
Soon they came upon the creek waterway as they stopped, they saw a river of lava.
"A river of lava?" Diane said speechlessly. 'How are we gonna cross now?!"
"We could use that rope Swing?" suggested Cannonball.
"Great idea, Cannonball!" Craig said in agreement.
Sparke Cadet went first as she swung over the river of lava she held onto the rope and swung herself to the other side.
"Okay, your turn!" Sparkle said to the others.
Craig was next followed by Cannonball, but as Diane swung on her rope she only got her feet on the edge.
"Whoa!" she cried out as she was about to fall in backward, the Ice Pop Trio gasped as they ran to grab her.
"I got you, Diane!" Craig shouted as he grabbed her left hand, while Cannonball and Sparkle grabbed each other's Waists and pulled Diane up.
They pulled her so tight from the edge that they fell and rolled down a hill groaning as they got hurt as they bumped against bushes, low-lying branches of trees, and rocks as they rolled downhill before they landed in a clearing as they landed in a pile.
They were groaning as they recovered with scratches and bruises over their bodies.
"Is everyone okay?" asked Craig.
"We're alright, Craig just a bit bruised here," Cannonball answered.
Suddenly, Sparkle Cadet sensed something wrong in her mind as she spoke in her thoughts, 'I sense a dark presence here.'
"Um, what is that?" Diane asked.
The Kids turned around and gasped as they saw big fiery red globs with evil faces hovering over them.
"It's Heat Monsters!" exclaimed Sparkle Cadet. "They must have found us out in the Open, and I think we're on their turf."
"Come on, let's get out of here!" Craig exclaimed as they ran.
"Quick, run as Fast as Slide!" Diane shrieked as they ran with the Heat Monsters in pursuit.
"Too bad, we left our bikes when we needed them," Cannonball said as he didn't take notice of bringing the bikes along.
"Quick, you guys go on ahead! I'll hold them off!" Sparkle Cadet told the others.
Sparkle Cadet got her Bubble Wand and did her pose. "Vibes of Positive1 And Everything Cute! Lend me your Strength!"
She formed a Huge Bubble the biggest one you would ever see and she shouted "Ultimate Bubble Blast!"
A Bubbly Explosion was followed as the Mushroom cloud was seen rising up in the creek although it had extinguished the Heat Monsters it sent the Four Kids flying upon impact as they screamed as they were caught in the moment.
They crashed through a thick undergrowth and landed on the forest floor as they groaned in pain.
"Sparkle Cadet, Thanks," Craig weakly.
"No problem, Craig," she replied as fell flat.
"This is something out of Slide the Ferret facing many obstacles and foes, I mean Lava rivers and Heat Monsters along with taking damage?!" Diane explained and asked the Ice Pop Trio.
"Yeah, we get through such stuff every time we hang out, you should come with us more often," Cannonball suggested.
"But we are nowhere to that Oasis," Craig sighed, but he saw an opening hole within the bushes and saw water as he cleared the branches away, and saw it was the place they were looking for Craig turned around to the others.
"Guys, we found it! Have a Look!" Craig exclaimed as they walked to see the Oasis filled with water surrounded by water plants and huge Trees that provided shade and the occasional Frog and Turtle basking nearby.
"It's so beautiful!" Sparkle Cadet said in delight.
"I totally agree with you girl," added Cannonball.
"It's like a secret level in Slide," Diane said with excitement.
"And we have the whole place to ourselves!" Craig told them. "Let's hit the Water!"

The Kids lay down their towels on the ground as they changed out into their Swimwear, Craig and Cannonball took off their shoes, socks, and shirts Craig was wearing his Yellow Swim Trunks while Cannonball was wearing Black Swim Trunks.
"It feels better with it off!" Craig sighed.
"Definitely dude," Cannonball agreed.
Then Sparkle Cadet transformation sequence as her shoes and dress disappear revealing a Pink One-piece Bright Pink Racerback Swimsuit with Light Purple Side Stripes ranging from the Straps to the Hips and a Star Image Center that magical girl was wearing while Diane spun like a tornado as her shoes, shorts, and shirt came off and reveal wearing a Blue One-piece Swimsuit with light blue side stripes with a Slide the Ferret Image Center and blue hair scrunchies on her three Pigtails.
"What do you think?!" asked Sparkle Cadet.
Cannonball and Craig's mouths dropped and blushed something felt lovely seeing a girl in swimwear that made them feel awestruck and beautiful.
"Um, guys?" Sparkle Cadet asked why they hadn't responded as the boys' minds turned back to reality.
"You all look nice," Cannonball replied awkwardly.
"You both look great," replied Craig before turning to Diane. "And is that a Slide the Ferret on your swimsuit?"
"Yes, and it's an exclusive one too," Diane answered.
The Boys went to the girls Craig stood by Diane while Cannonball stood by Sparkle Cadet. Craig places his left hand on Diane's Waist while Diane does the same with her right hand on Craig's Waist, Sparkle Cadet and Cannonball do the same as well.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's beat this Heat!" Craig cheered.
The Kids cheered when they first jumped and dived into the water. Once they rose to the surface they started laughing and splashing each other.
Then they held their breath the longest underwater, in the end, Diane was the Winner.
Next, they did a human totem pole, with Craig on top followed by Sparkle Cadet, Diane, and Cannonball as they laughed and cheered.
They conclude by swimming laps and swinging together on a rope swing into the water before heading to the shore to dry off and rest.
The Four Kids laid down on the field in a circle with their legs and hands spread out, their heads touching, and holding hands.
"Thanks for offering to share this place Cannonball," Craig thanked him.
"It was nothing, I hope the other Ten Speeds won't mind," Cannonball replied back.
"I feel so much more relaxed and better after a dip in the water," Sparkle Cadet added.
"Me too, we should come to this spot if we feel like it or if it gets too hot," Diane suggested.
"Same here with us the Ice Pop Trio-" Craig said before cutting realizing Diane was here before correcting. "Or the Ice Pop Quartet."
The Kids sighed and stayed like this for the rest of the day until the sunset as they headed home. As they grow up, they will still remember the memories and the adventure they had to this Hidden Oasis.
