That same night after hanging out with Clay, Ariel was spending some more time Floyd as a way for the newly father-daughter duo to get to know each other a little more as a means to avoid any conflicts since it was clear that neither of them liked it when others began to fight. Ariel had already known that her new Dad didn't like it when his brothers fought, but Floyd was learning that his new daughter avoided arguments by trying to find a compromise so that way everyone gets what they want, even though it wasn't always easy but it worked more than arguing did. "...and that's how I helped the student council at school." Ariel finished saying, she'd been telling Floyd about how her school's student body president had asked her for help in resolving a conflict between two of the members since they wouldn't give up something they had both wanted even though it went beyond the schools budget. "That was a good way to help your classmates." Floyd said with a smile, he was proud that his new daughter had been able to help before the problem escalated into a more physical fight which would've been way worse.
"I swear those two were more stubborn than two mules." Ariel replied with a shake of her head, that made Floyd laugh with Ariel joining in. "Sounds like John Dory and Bruce." Floyd added, they laughed harder since it was true that the oldest bros would get into small arguments before someone stepped in to help defuse the problem. "I'm just glad we found a solution." Ariel responded with a sigh, both went back to looking at the starry, night sky which still filled Ariel's eyes with wonder since she'd never been able to see so many stars while living in the city, but now she could see the beautiful and wondrous stars without all the light pollution to block the way. "I love stargazing, especially since now I can see everything." Ariel told Floyd, he looked over at his daughter with a gentle smile before seeing the stars being reflected in her eyes, and that gave him an idea to do something fun with Ariel since it was a special father-daughter night for them, so that's why he started up some music which made Ariel look over to see what her new Dad was up before she realized what he wanted.

At the end of the song, Ariel and Floyd were both silent for a moment as they heard the crashing of the waves against the sand. "We'll always be there for each other." Floyd stated as he held out his pinky to Ariel, she smiled before putting her pinky over his. "Always and forever." Ariel replied as they made a pinky promise, the two went back to looking at the stars before Branch called them in for dinner with the rest of the family. Both Floyd and Ariel quickly went inside to wash up then joined everyone at the table while making plans to visit Pop village. "Will the other trolls be alright with me being there?" Ariel asked nervously, she didn't want anyone to feel uncomfortable with her around, and she wanted to avoid Creek since he wasn't someone that Ariel liked. "I'll let everyone know in advance." Poppy offered with a smile, that made Ariel smile back as she agreed to let Poppy give her village and Trollstopia a heads up. "Sounds good." Ariel responded, Branch looked at his new niece. "I'll also make sure that Creek doesn't cause trouble." Branch added, he somehow knew that Ariel had been thinking of the traitor.
"Really Branch?" Poppy asked with a shake of head, while she didn't want to Creek to be mean to Ariel, she also didn't want Branch to pick a fight. "I'll just give him a warning." Branch replied with a shrug, the two looked at each other before Ariel told them that she'd either stay close to Floyd or any of her Uncles or some of Poppy's friends since she didn't want to get into a fight with Creek since she didn't like the guy from the movie. "That'll work." Floyd said in agreement, neither he, his bros or Viva liked Creek since he almost got the rest of Pop village eaten by the Bergans. "You'll love Pop village and Trollstopia." Viva told Ariel, everyone made plans to show Ariel around and introduce her to more of the other trolls cultures. "I can't wait to meet everyone." Ariel said with a smile, she meant that for every troll who wasn't Creek while hoping to not run to the yellow guru troll.
