Welcome to chapter 3! we doing a time skip. i feel like these chapters are rushed and stuff but i like to get to the good parts and not beat around the bush. hope you enjoy this new chapter!
Time flew by, and Jinx was now seven months pregnant, her belly having grown larger. Isha had taken to calling Jinx "Mom" a title that felt strange at first since Jinx had always viewed the young girl more as a sister. However, Isha made it clear that Jinx and Ekko had gotten an upgrade in her eyes, she had appointed herself as their daughter, a role many had already assumed.
With a baby growing inside her, Jinx found it to be an entirely surreal experience. The sensation of the baby kicking from within her or moving beneath her skin was both exhilarating and odd. While tinkering with new gadgets, she would talk to their baby, rubbing her belly and earning gentle kicks in response. It was as if the baby was acknowledging her voice and touch, creating a bond that filled her with warmth.
Ekko barely left her side during this time. If he was ever away and Jinx let out even the smallest gasp from a particularly strong kick, he would practically teleport back to her. His speed was astonishing, and Jinx would often joke that he must have Shimmer in him like she did, explaining his incredible swiftness.
Between Ekko's watchful eye and Isha's insistence, Jinx often found herself being scolded for not resting enough. If she tinkered for too long, they would force her to lay down, insisting it was for her own good—and the baby's, of course. While she appreciated their concern, she often felt restless, wanting to be active and engaged.
However, her mood swings had become a challenge. The combination of pregnancy hormones and her naturally fiery temperament made it hazardous for her to be around customers. One particular day, a rude man who clearly wasn't from Demacia crossed paths with Isha at the shop. While Isha was more than capable of handling the situation herself, Jinx's protective instincts kicked in.
Before she knew it, she had her gun aimed at the man's head, her eyes glowing purple with fury. The scene was intense, and she could feel the adrenaline coursing through her veins. Ekko, realizing the situation was escalating, rushed to her side, trying to talk her down. Herald, ever the calm presence, escorted the man out of the shop.
As they left, both Jinx and Isha flipped the man off, their expressions fierce. Jinx knew the gun wasn't loaded and didn't even work, but the man didn't need to know that. The sheer intimidation of the moment was enough to send him running. Since that day she either goes on walks or stays upstairs tinkering or drawing out blueprints for new gadgets.
Right now, Jinx was outside, enjoying the fresh air while wearing Ekko's jacket. It was cozy and comforting, carrying his scent, which made her feel more secure. Plus, it helped to hide her growing belly, something she appreciated since people often felt compelled to strike up conversations about her pregnancy. Some even asked to feel the baby kick, which she found intrusive and annoying.
Despite being seven months along, Jinx loved being active. The long walks that would typically tire a pregnant woman out felt invigorating to her. Her feet never hurt, even with the extra weight she was carrying. As she strolled through the streets, she chuckled to herself, recalling how she used to carry over sized guns that were heavier than a baby. The comparison made her feel a strange sense of pride, after everything she had been through. So a baby surly wasn't going to slow her down.
As Jinx returned from her stroll, she stepped into the shop and halted, her eyes widening at the scene before her. Standing with Ekko and Isha was a robust woman with a single arm, fiercely embracing Isha as if for dear life. Ekko glanced over at Jinx, his expression a mix of panic and concern. Savika had arrived in Demacia for reasons unknown, and Jinx was left to wonder what had prompted her visit.
"I thought you were dead, kid! What were you thinking, bringing her here, Ekko? Everyone was worried sick after you just disappeared! I never imagined you'd abandon the Firelights, especially being their leader! What's got you staring?" Savika exclaimed, annoyance creeping into her voice as she turned to face Jinx. Caught off guard, Jinx's heart raced, and she mentally scolded herself for not concealing her presence better.
"JINX?!" Savika bellowed, releasing Isha, who stumbled backward from the force of the hug. Isha, clinging to Savika's arm trying to hold her back, but was only being dragging along with Savika.
"Hey there, lefty! Uh... Surprise! I'm still kicking!" Jinx responded nervously, instinctively placing her hand over her belly, a protective gesture that had developed during her pregnancy.
"Yeah, I can see that, you little punk! You know how worried everyone was when Vi told us you were dead?! Don't turn away from me, get your ass over here, Jinx!" Savika shouted, her voice echoing in the shop.
"HEY! Watch your fucking language!" Jinx snaps, cursed herself.
"and I'm not letting you close to me when you're radiating angry gorilla vibes!" Jinx retorted, her heartbeat quickening. At that moment, Ekko stepped in front of Savika, his gaze fierce as he tried to shield Jinx.
"Can we all just chill? We don't want Jinx stressing out, it's not good for her—" Ekko began, attempting to calm the situation.
"Jinx is practically a walking stress ball, and I won't chill until I get my hands on her! I will curse all I want you little shit, you also fucking cursed!" Savika replied, shoving Ekko aside with surprising strength. Isha, feeling protective, began to hit Savika with all her might, but it was clear her efforts were futile against the larger woman. Savika, unperturbed, reached for Jinx, pulling her into a bear hug that left everyone stunned.
"Uh, this is… nice?" Jinx ventured, her voice coming out uncertain as she hesitated to embrace Savika in return. The unexpected warmth of the hug surprised her, stirring a mix of emotions within. Savika tightened her grip, her demeanor softening slightly.
"I was really upset… when I found out you died. A lot of people searched for you. Caitlyn even went looking for you, but it seemed like she knew something that the rest of us didn't… She might have believed you're alive. I guess that's why she brought us here." Savika sighed, her expression shifting as she realized something was amiss. Jinx's belly was much larger than it should be, and then she felt it move against her.
"Jinx?" Savika asked, her gaze dropping to the young woman she had helped Silco raise all those years ago.
"Yeah, yeah, Ekko knocked me up but we can talk about that some other time." Jinx replied, trying to brush it off casually.
"You mentioned 'she' brought 'us' here? Who else is here?! Please don't tell me… is Vi here too?" Jinx's voice was tinged with worry.
"Wait, you're really pregnant?! I never thought I'd see the day! Way to go, Ekko!" Savika smirked at Ekko, who shot a look at Jinx as if she had thrown him under the bus by revealing their news that way.
"Savika… is Vi here?" Jinx repeated, her voice rising with frustration.
"Yeah, she came along on this trip. Caitlyn had some business to attend to, and I came as her guard. But then she told me to take a walk so she and Vi could probably have a date before her meeting…" Savika replied, annoyance evident in her tone. She hadn't understood why she had to come along, but now she was glad she did—it was worth it to see Jinx.
"Jinx, everything is going to be okay. Nothing bad will happen. I know you wanted to stay 'dead' to everyone back home, but maybe it's time to show yourself?" Ekko said, moving closer and placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"I'm not ready for that yet! What am I supposed to say? 'Hey, sis, I used Shimmer to escape, left everyone behind, and started a family?'" Jinx scoffed, though she didn't push Ekko away. Instead, she leaned closer, resting her face against his chest and letting out a muffled groan of stress. Isha, sensing the tension, raised her board to get their attention, clearing her throat as she displayed her message.
'I think Vi should see you too, Savika will probably let it slip anyway if we don't tell her.' Isha had written, giving Savika a smug look, eyebrows raised.
"This brat…" Savika chuckled, shaking her head but smirking as she gently patted Isha on the head.
"Fine… but it's going to be a lot of yelling and crying. We'll need to keep Vi from killing Ekko. I can't have my husband getting taken out by my big sister." Jinx sighed heavily, feeling the weight of the situation.
"On second thought…" Ekko muttered, uncertainty creeping into his voice.
"Too late, space boy! Savika will bring them here and up to the apartment later today, and no weapons allowed either. I don't like that rule, but I can't have anyone putting the baby at risk." Jinx declared, surprising Savika with her unexpected civility. Maybe being pregnant had indeed brought a new clarity to her mindset.
"Never thought I'd hear you say 'no weapons.' Looks like having an ankle biter on the way has really tamed you, huh?" Savika teased with a smirk.
"Trust me, it's a strange feeling to have to be responsible" Jinx replied, rolling her eyes.
"Ekko drilled it into my head enough that now it's like a reflex. And from what the old man told me, my maternal instincts are kicking in too… Well, now that you know, I'm taking this jacket off. It's getting too hot." She says and with that, Jinx peeled off Ekko's jacket, revealing her belly in all its glory to Savika.
"Want to feel? Normally, only Ekko, Isha, and Herald are allowed to touch my belly, but since you're someone I, uh… care about, I'll let you feel the baby kick" Jinx muttered, looking away after admitting her feelings for Savika.
"Do I have to?" Savika asked, glancing at the movement inside Jinx's belly.
"Well, now you have to since you said that! Give me your damn hand" Jinx replied with a smile. She took Savika's hand and pressed it against her belly.
Savika seemed to tense up at the contact, she had never experienced anything quite like this. Her life had revolved around fighting and gambling, so feeling an unborn baby moving within Jinx brought her a surprisingly calming sensation. As the baby began to kick vigorously against Savika's hand, she felt her muscles gradually relax. Jinx couldn't help but snicker at the baby's reactions to different people touching her belly.
When Ekko placed his hand or, more often, his head against her belly, the baby would move in a calm manner. With Isha, there were gentle kicks as if the baby was already playing with her. But now, with Savika, it felt like the baby was ready to throw hands, kicking with enthusiasm. This kid was definitely going to be a handful.
"I won't say anything to them about you, Jinx, but I'll let them know that Ekko and Isha are here. Just to get them here, I'll try to hold Vi back if she freaks out too much. But if I get punched in the face, I'm blaming you, Jinx" Savika quipped, a teasing edge to her tone.
"Rude… but I guess I'll take the blame. What's one more favor?" Jinx smiled up at Savika, feeling a warmth between them that made the moment all the more special.
Isha sighed as she noticed Savika didn't have her metal arm with her anymore, or perhaps she just hadn't brought it along. A smile spread across her face as she dashed over to her little workshop, slamming the door behind her. The sounds of tools clanging and machinery whirring could be heard shortly after. Jinx and Ekko exchanged knowing glances, already aware of what Isha was up to. Since Jinx had made Savika an arm once, now it was Isha's turn to take on the challenge.
"Well, while Isha works on that, I'm going to lie down before the family reunion kicks off… See you later, Savika! It was nice to see you again. Still in shock from that hug!" Jinx snickered, using her shimmer to vanish before Savika could grab her again.
"How the hell can she still move that quickly while pregnant?!" Savika exclaimed, a mix of disbelief and admiration in her tone, noting how women typically struggled at this stage of pregnancy.
"Trust me… Jinx is a whole different breed. She wanted me to go to bed with her, so she picked me up and carried me like I weighed nothing. But what can I say? My wife is badass, and I couldn't be happier" Ekko chuckled out.
"I heard that, Ekko! But I can't take all the credit, you're just as badass!" Jinx called out from upstairs, her voice playful.
"Jinx!" Ekko shouted back at her for eavesdropping, which only made her laugh as she shut the door, leaving Savika smiling slightly. It was a bit unsettling for Ekko to see Savika genuinely smile.
"I'm glad Jinx is alive and doing well, along with Isha. Vi told me the kid blew herself up to stop that monster Jinx called Vander." Savika said, turning to head out of the shop.
Ekko watched her leave, then settled down at the front desk. He figured he would close up shop early to ensure Jinx remained calm and to prepare for when Vi and likely Caitlyn showed up. It was definitely going to be one wild ride.
As the hours passed, Ekko experienced a wave of relief when Herald arrived to take over the shop. He quickly briefed Herald on the latest developments, including Savika's unexpected appearance and the news that Vi and Caitlyn were nearby. The pressure of the situation had been weighing on him, and he was grateful for the backup.
"They believed Jinx was gone for good all this time." Ekko said, running a hand through his dreadlocks.
"Savika was really upset when she found out, but thankfully, she was more aggressively relieved to discover Jinx was alive. Now, with Vi and Caitlyn on their way, I'm not sure how they'll react to Jinx being back… I just want to make sure Jinx doesn't get too stressed." Ekko says, being stressed himself but this situation but had to keep his calm so Jinx didn't stress more.
"Everything will be alright, my boy. Vi is her older sister, after all. She may start off angry, but that will fade quickly." Herald replied, offering a reassuring smile as he patted Ekko on the shoulder.
"Though I'm not so sure about this Caitlyn girl. Jinx has told me quite a bit about their complicated relationship, but I believe it will all turn out well in the end." Herald says keeping things positive as always.
"If there haven't been many customers today, I can close up shop when they arrive" Herald added, ready to take action to help ease the tension.
"Thanks, Herald. That really helps." Ekko replied, feeling a bit more relaxed.
"Just keep an eye on her, from what you've shared, she's incredibly resilient. If anyone can navigate this, it's her." Herald advised, wearing a supportive smile.
With that reassurance, Ekko headed upstairs, his heart racing as he approached their bedroom door. He gently knocked before stepping inside, finding Jinx lying on the bed, her eyes closed. The calm look on her face made him smile, but he knew they couldn't linger in this peaceful moment for long.
"Hey, how are you feeling, Jinx?" he asked softly, sitting on the edge of the bed. Jinx opened her eyes, blinked a few times, let out a small sigh, and then smiled up at him.
"I think I'm okay? I'm still getting over the fact that Savika hugged me and how you were really going to step in between us. I believe I can handle this family reunion if I have you and Isha by my side… Did you see Isha? She was trying to take on Savika, but she was like a fly to her," Jinx chuckled as Ekko climbed into bed beside her, resting his hand on her belly as he usually did.
"I'd protect you from any danger because I love you. I was worried you might get hurt. Isha will look out for you too, not that she deals much damage with her fists… but I hear she has a fierce bite," Ekko snickered, recalling the time she had bitten him during a playful scuffle. He hadn't retaliated but had only winced at the pain, and she never bit him again after feeling guilty about it.
"Ah yes, the terrifying Isha chomp. It can take anyone down! You know she told me she got scared that you were mad at her for biting you? That's why she was avoiding you for the whole week," Jinx said, snuggling up against Ekko, placing her hands over his that rested on her swollen belly.
"Is that why she kept running from me?! You should have told me, Jinx! I thought she hated me after that." Ekko exclaimed, feigning frustration, but Jinx just smirked and leaned in to give him a quick kiss on the lips.
"Where's the fun in that, though?" Jinx laughed, her joy lighting up the room. Ekko shot her a playful glare of disapproval, but he couldn't maintain his faux annoyance for long. Jinx inched closer, resting her head on his shoulder.
"Do you think Isha is still working on a new arm for Savika?" she asked, relishing the comforting pressure of his head against hers as he chuckled.
"Absolutely. But knowing her, she's probably almost finished. After all, she learned from the best inventors around, right?" Ekko smiled, recalling how much they had both taught Isha. She absorbed everything like a sponge, mastering their lessons within weeks.
"Got that right… and I know what you're trying to do, Ekko," Jinx said, locking her gaze onto his. He sighed, realizing she had figured it out.
"Yeah, I figured you would. I just don't want you to stress out too much, and honestly, I'm trying to keep myself from getting too anxious as well." Ekko admitted, allowing his eyes to wander toward the window, where the sunlight streamed in, illuminating the room.
"Don't worry too much, I think it will all work out in the end. I can't imagine Vi trying to hurt me once she finds out I'm pregnant. Now Caitlyn? That's a different story. I mean, she did try to shoot me even with Isha on top of me the day she blasted my middle finger off." Jinx said, her tone becoming more serious.
"So, on the off chance things do get a bit chaotic, you handle Caitlyn, and I'll deal with Vi, okay? I'm not sure how Vi will react to the news that you're the father of this baby after all." Jinx gives out a light chuckle.
As she spoke, Jinx slowly sat up in bed, feeling a gentle kick from their baby. While both Ekko and Isha could feel the kicks, but Jinx experienced them with incredible clarity. She had quickly learned to interpret what their baby wanted just by the little nudges. Clearly, the unborn baby didn't want to be lying down anymore, they wanted her to move around. It was part of the reason she had started taking walks lately. Maybe the swaying motion while she walked calmed the baby down.
"Guess the kid takes after me, not liking to sit still for too long," she chuckled lightly, a mix of amusement and affection in her voice.
"Great, it's hard enough keeping up with you and Isha sometimes. I can only imagine how chaotic it will be running after you, Isha, and our child." Ekko said with a playful grin.
"When did Herald say we'd have more information on whether it's a boy or a girl?" he inquired, sitting up alongside her and allowing her to lean against his shoulder.
"Well, he doesn't have the means to determine it definitively. But he thinks it's a girl based on past visits with other women. I was kind of hoping for a boy though." Jinx replied, smiling as she inhaled Ekko's familiar scent, which always had a calming effect on her. Scent and touch were crucial for her relaxation, and Ekko had learned from Isha how important it was to provide comfort during Jinx's rare episodes. The warmth of his body reassured her, and the smell of him made her feel safe and content, bringing her a deeper sense of happiness in their closeness.
"Why do you want a boy? Just curious, really. I'm perfectly fine with either a boy or a girl. I'm just thrilled that we're going to be parents." Ekko said, smiling as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her a little closer. The embrace felt slightly awkward, prompting Jinx to shift until she was comfortably seated in his lap.
"I'm not entirely sure why, to be honest. It's just the image of a boy that comes to mind when I think of the baby. But either way, I'll be happy. I have Isha, you, our baby, and I guess I'll include Lefty in the family tree as well," Jinx said, settling into Ekko's arms, feeling a sense of warmth and security envelop her.
They remained in that comfortable position for another hour or two, completely losing track of time as they enjoyed each other's company. Suddenly, the door burst open, and Isha came rushing in, struggling to carry the now-finished arm designed for Savika. The arm bore a striking resemblance to the one Jinx had previously created for the older woman, prompting a playful snort from Jinx as Isha triumphantly tossed it onto the bed, clearly pleased with her handiwork.
The new arm was slightly smaller than Jinx's version and, much to Isha's disappointment, it lacked the jaws for the hand. She didn't have the necessary parts to replicate the original, but instead, she crafted fingers resembling daggers that would only activate when a lever was turned rather than being pulled. The entire metal arm was painted in bright colors, reflecting the vibrant styles that both Jinx and Isha adored. Jinx wiggled out of Ekko's embrace to examine the impressive creation more closely.
"Good job, Isha! This looks like something I would make. Are you sure you didn't sneak into my workshop corner and borrow my ideas?" Jinx teased, her tone playful and light getting a little giggle from Isha.
Ekko leaned in to take a closer look at the arm. To his surprise, it felt lighter than he had anticipated. Judging by the color and the texture of the metal, he realized it was made of titanium. With Savika using this new arm, she would be nearly unstoppable. He noticed a few gaskets on the wrist and shot Isha a curious glance. Isha responded with one of her signature sassy smirks and dashed off to grab her whiteboard, eager to explain the arm's features. Moments later, she returned, already scribbling down her notes.
"These help with throwing a punch, just like Fat Hands! The activation is in the hand, so when she pulls the arm back with her fist balled up, it rockets her fist forward!" Isha had written, puffing out her chest with pride as she presented the information.
"That's incredible Isha! This is going to give Savika a serious advantage! You've outdone yourself this time" Jinx said, genuinely impressed. Ekko nodded in agreement, marveling at Isha's talent and creativity.
Isha quickly gestured with her hands, asking Jinx to help wrap up the arm so Savika could open it when they arrived at the shop. Understanding the urgency, Ekko got up to fetch the wrapping paper, determined to make things easier for Jinx so she didn't have to move. He headed downstairs, rummaging through Jinx's workshop corner, a chaotic space where all her supplies were scattered haphazardly.
Despite Ekko's numerous attempts to introduce some organization, Jinx never seemed to grasp the concept. He had ultimately given up and learned to navigate her mess, though it was a constant challenge. Oddly enough, Isha had a knack for finding things in Jinx's chaos, a skill Ekko marveled at.
As Ekko rifled through the various items, he failed to notice Savika, Vi, and Caitlyn walking into the shop. Vi's eyes landed on him, and before he could react, she took off in a full sprint, crashing into him with surprising force.
"LITTLE MAN! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" Vi exclaimed, enveloping him in a bear hug that nearly crushed him.
"Vi?! You scared the hell out of me!" Ekko gasped, feeling as if he had just experienced a mini heart attack.
"Good! How could you just take Isha and run off like that?! I thought she was dead! Then Savika told me she survived, and you took her away from everything back home. I'm not mad you did that, just maybe next time, for the love of god, tell me! Where is Isha?" Vi asked, her eyes scanning the shop, searching for the girl Jinx had taken in before they found out Vander was alive and before Jinx died.
There was a weight of guilt in her heart as she thought about how she had failed to snap out of her emotions when she found Vander's body, and now she feared that Isha might not want to see her, thinking she might blame Vi for Jinx's death.
"Calm down, Vi. It's good to see you again, Ekko." Caitlyn said with a warm smile as she stepped forward.
"I had a feeling we would meet again, I just didn't know when." she adds and Ekko turned to her, a bit taken aback by the sight of her eye patch over her left eye, a stark reminder of the battles they had all faced.
"Yeah… good to see you both. Um, Isha is upstairs. I came down to get—wait!" Ekko began, but panic surged through him as he saw Vi take off running up the stairs. He nearly tripped over one of Jinx's tools in his haste to stop her.
Savika and Caitlyn followed closely behind Ekko as they rushed up the stairs and through the open door, only to find Vi frozen in place, staring at Jinx. Jinx had pulled a blanket off the bed to wrap around herself, trying to ward off the chill, which effectively concealed her belly. She looked at her big sister with wide eyes, clearly taken aback by Vi's sudden appearance. Isha had jumped in front of Jinx, holding her arms out in a protective gesture, a cute but earnest attempt to shield Jinx from any potential danger.
"Looking good… sis. Got some blue added to your tattoos?" Jinx said, her voice tinged with nervousness as she glanced at Ekko, then at Savika and Caitlyn.
"You…" Vi breathed out softly, but her expression was a mix of anger and disbelief, her body trembling slightly with pent-up emotion.
"Yeah… me." Jinx replied, letting out a light chuckle, though she instinctively took a step back as Vi took a step forward.
Sensing Jinx's unease, Ekko quickly moved to position himself between Vi and Jinx, feeling his own nerves spike. He could see that Jinx was becoming increasingly anxious. Savika instinctively moved to stand next to Ekko, knowing the situation was delicate. She didn't want Jinx to get hurt by Vi loosing control of her emotions.
"Vi, wait." Savika said firmly, her tone steady but gentle, as she tried to diffuse the tension in the air.
"I know you're upset and happy to see Jinx, I was too. But you need to relax before you get any closer." Savika warned Vi, her tone firm but understanding.
"You knew about this?! And you didn't tell me! She's been alive this whole time and didn't come find me after the war, where I thought she blew herself up!" Vi shouted in anger, her voice rising as she marched forward, blinded by her fury.
"Vi! We didn't come here to fight!" Caitlyn called after her, but her words fell on deaf ears. Vi charged ahead, dodging Savika's outstretched arm as she tried to intervene.
Ekko quickly stepped into Vi's path, bracing himself for the confrontation, but Vi halted mid-punch as the blanket slipped off Jinx's shoulder when she dashed forward to protect him. Isha, the brave protector she was, sprinted ahead and began hitting Vi in the gut, making the older woman grunt with each impact. Yet, Vi's gaze was fixed solely on Jinx's belly, a mixture of shock and confusion washing over her.
"Look, I know you're mad! I should have told you I was alive, okay?! But I was scared I would jinx you! The cycle of killing could only be broken if I walked away. I didn't tell you because I wanted you to focus on your own happiness without having to worry about me!" Jinx yelled, tears welling in her eyes as she poured out her heart.
"I thought it was the right choice. I went to get Isha to take her with me, and Ekko came with us." Jinx added, pulling Ekko slightly behind her as a precaution, just in case Vi decided to lash out again.
"I would have been happy even with you still there… I hated myself all these years for not being able to save you. I—I'm sorry for getting mad… Who's is it?" Vi finally asked, her tone shifting as she nodded toward Jinx's belly, her voice when asking who's baby it was was full of venom like she was going to kill the man that knocked her sister up. Jinx took a shaky breath, glancing at Ekko before meeting Vi's gaze.
"It's Ekko's." she replied softly, her heart racing as she awaited Vi's reaction.
"Well, this is an unexpected turn of events. I figured you were alive after your body wasn't found. Sorry for not filling you in on that Vi, but we all know you would have gone mad trying to find her. I never imagined we would find you starting a family with the old Firelight's leader, I didn't think you two would end up together like this." Caitlyn remarked, walking over with her hands raised, a gesture meant to convey that she was there for peace.
"I'm really glad to see you alive, Jinx. I've wanted to thank both of you for your help during the war. We could have done without the music though. it was a war." Caitlyn added, a teasing smile playing on her lips. Jinx smirked at that, but her focus remained on Vi, who appeared too stunned to react, especially after finding out that Little Man was the one who had gotten her sister pregnant.
"The music was very necessary! Isha picked that song out for us since she wasn't allowed to join for obvious reasons… Vi? You look like you're about to—" Jinx started, but she couldn't finish her thought as Vi suddenly lunged forward, pulling both Ekko and Jinx into a tight embrace and bursting into tears.
"Little Man, you fucking asshole… I wasn't ready to be an aunt!" Vi cried out, her voice a mix of joy and exasperation. The unexpected emotional release hit Jinx hard, and she found herself starting to cry as well, her hormones amplifying her feelings.
In that moment, the tension that had filled the room melted away, replaced by a whirlwind of emotions—relief, happiness, and a sense of family that transcended the chaos they had all endured. Ekko stood there, caught in the middle of the emotional storm, feeling both overwhelmed and grateful to witness this reunion. It was messy, it was chaotic, but it was also a testament to the bonds they had.
This chapter had been done before the suggestions, i had already planned on bringing Vi, Caitlyn, and Savika into this story since i wanted them to see how happy Jinx was and how she changed to be a good mother. i feel like Jinx would make a really good mom, i think she could move past all the hardship she went through and push her demons back to take care of the baby like she did with Isha in the show. the demons arent gone but they are locked away.
i am currently working on the 4th chapter as we speak but let me know if you have any suggestions on what to put into the next chapters! until next time everyone! i hope to have these chapters out for you soon!
