Hearing uh oh was not what Mandrake wanted to hear, and he was getting the feeling that something had gone wrong. That was only confirmed as he heard Stacy rise to her feet and stomp out the fire which caused the magician to say "Let me guess. Something went wrong?"
"You could say that. Not only did I contact your allies but our icy friends outside." Stacy began as she bent down tugging on Mandrake before she said "You need to get up Mandrake. Soon those robots will be practically on top of us as it seems they were waiting for you to find some means to signal for help. Which means unless you want to reunite with those bots, we have to haul ass out of here."
"Blunt and to the point, aren't you?" Mandrake said before he continued "Not to mention a limited filter it seems."
"Oh this. Naw this is tame compared to me on a bad day but let's worry about my less than lady like lingo later, shall we?" Stacy said as Mandrake was now on his feet wondering if that was tame did, she normally swear like a sailor on a bad day? Stacy then pushed Mandrake's staff into his hand before grabbing his arm again before lightly tugging him along.
However, the pair didn't make their way out of the front of the cave but instead the back. Using the various plants as cover it seemed their odds were pretty good especially since Stacy could see even though Mandrake temporarily could not. The sound of Ming's aircraft made Mandrake uneasy, but Stacy was also on high alert. Stacy was not going to let Mandrake go because he was not in the best position to defend himself as she had spent time temporarily blinded and knew how terrifying it felt so she was not going to abandon him.
As the two of them made it to the plant covered small opening in the back of the cave Stacy turned to look at Mandrake before the woman said "Mandrake, duck your head for a little bit and we should soon be outside the cave."
Nodding Mandrake wordlessly dipped his head a bit before Stacy did the same. While, yes, Mandrake was noticeably taller than her in her current state she was still a bit taller than average for a woman what with her standing at five foot six inches tall in this form. Soon the duo carefully made their way out of the cave standing upright as they both felt the warmth of the sunlight. Next Stacy glanced around before she silently gently tugged on the elbow of the magician she was determined to keep as safe as possible until she reunited Mandrake with his fellow companions and friends. Despite the fact she knew those ice robots were working on trying to track them down the only current advantages she and Mandrake had at their disposal was the limited tree cover they had as they made their way. Not to also mention that Stacy had access to a couple of superpowers in her currently vulnerable state that she never told Mandrake about as it didn't seem important information at the time. With luck she would be able to help Mandrake avoid the ice robots.
Taking advantage of the shade, the trees provided the pair moved occasionally warily stopping motion as the sound of the ice robots' aircraft would on rarely fly overhead seemingly in a search pattern. Looking around Stacy knew it was a matter of time before either their luck ran out as there was not good odds the other Defenders would home in on her and Mandrake first. 'Fantastic' Stacy sarcastically thought as she continued to guide Mandrake. Then the next thought that entered her mind was the following 'Please let's just have luck be with us.'
Then as the roar of another ice robot aircraft zoomed slowly overhead it was Mandrake who tightened the grip on his staff before the crafty magician turned his head upward out of habit despite being momentarily unable to see anything before, he then said, "Let's only hope our luck holds out because I don't fancy our odds if Ming's forces spot us."
