Usagi was walking to school when she passes by a street full of police cars passing by. After them they see a different and big car passing by. Usagi looks briefly to the window of that car and sees a woman with short brown hair and big glasses, similar to Umino's glasses. Even if that woman looked simple, Usagi noticed that she was important and all that protection was for her.
- Who could that woman be? It looks like she is someone important for having all this escort - says Usagi.
- And It seems she is coming for something important - says Luna.
Usagi and Luna stood watching everything for sometime, but since they didn´t find anything else that was of their interest they followed witht heir path.
Usagi arrives at school and greets Naru and Umino who were already in there. Luna also gets in secretly in the classroom and hides herself under Usagi chair.
- Hi, Usagi! Do you know that the Princess from Diamond Kingdom is visiting Japan? - says Umino.
- Really? So thats why I saw a lot of police cars around here - concludes Usagi.
- Thats right. Its a normal protection procedure when someone important comes - he explains - Look! This is her - he continues, showing a magazine with the photo of that princess.
- Thats the woman I saw in that car that was being escorted.
- Her country is known for their treasures. They produce many jewels, gems and other precious stones. She will show to the world the legendary secret treasure that belongs to the Royal Family. It will happen in a big dinner party tonight in the embassy.
- A big party to welcome a princess that will show an important treasure... - Usagi repeats his words, thinking on them - It looks so amazing... so romantic... - then she rubs her head with desperation - Its impossible to imagine. How much I wish to go!
- Don´t worry! - says Naru - Me and my mother were invited to that party, since we provided many jewels to the princess. Tomorrow I can tell you how it was.
- Oh, Naru. You´re sush a lucky girl. I wish I could go too - crys Usagi, leaving Naru with regrets for revealing her that.
Meanwhile, Luna was hearing everything with a big interest.
"A Princess... a legendary treasure..." - thinks Luna to herself.
Nefrite was in front of Queen Beryl, who was seated at the throne. Like usual, they´re surrounded by a big audience.
- Nefrite, are you saying that the Silver Crystal can be nearby? - asks Queen Beryl.
- I´m very confident of that, your Majesty. Today there will be a party where the princess of Diamond Kingdom will show the legendary secret treasure of her kingdom.
- I see! That treasure can be the Silver Crystal we´re looking for. If its the case, we´re so close to have the world in our hands - she says with ambition - I confide you this mission. Bring us that treasure faster.
After classes, Usagi and Luna goes to Rei Shrine. They see that Ami was already in there.
- I need to talk to all of you! I´ve been thinking of this the entire morning - says Luna, jumping over the table - Today there will be a ball where the Princess from the Diamond Kingdom will reveal the biggest treasure of her family. I think we should investigate her further.
- Are you thinking that she can be the Moon Princess we´re looking for? - asks Ami.
- Thats right, Ami! And the legendary treasure she has, that can be the Silver Crystal we´re looking for - completes Luna - We need to go to that party and check this.
Usagi looks to her with shining eyes.
- Are you serious about that Luna? Are we really going to that beautiful party? - she asks, joining her hands.
- Yes, Usagi. But we´re going on a mission. Not to have fun. I need you to keep serious about this.
- I think we also should be prepared for something unexpected about this - says Rei with seriousness - I can sense something off about this.
- Thank you for the warning, Rei - says Luna - We´ll pay attention to everything around us.
After their meeting, Usagi returns home. The first thing she sees is her father that was about to leave. He was dressed with a tuxedo and was taking his camera on his hands.
- Hello, dad! Why are you all dressed up? - she asks.
- Hello, honey! I´m attending the ball of the Diamond Kingdom at the embassy. Its for an interview for my magazine. See you later.
He leaves immediately after that and Usagi stays looking to the door with a grumpy face.
" Damnit! If it wasn´t for Luna's idea to go there, I would never have the opportunity to go to this beautiful party. Everyone would go less me!" - she complains to herself.
But since it was already decided that she was going to that party, she decided to forget that. She goes to her room and opens her closed. She tries to find a dress that she could take to the ball. Seeing she hadn´t anything, she falls on her knees.
- I can´t believe it. I´ve nothing to wear. Like this I can´t go to the party - she was about to cry hardly when something passed by her mind - Wait! There is another way.
She grabs the transformation pen and raises it on the air.
"MOON POWER! TRANSFORM ME INTO A PRETTY PRINCESS!"
When all the lights around her disappear, Usagi sees herself dressed with a beautiful and long pink dress. She was also holding a pink umbrella.
- Really, Usagi. That pen is only to be used for a good cause - says Luna.
- And wasn´t this for a good cause? Aren´t we going on a mission?
Luna didn´t say anything else because she didn´t have arguments against her.
- Alright! Lets go!
Tuxedo Kamen was in the middle of a big temple , surrounded by fog. When he looks up, he sees the mysterious figure of a woman over a high platform. He couldn´t see her face due to the shadows and the fog that were covering her figure, but he could see her long hair that she was using with a particular hairstyle ( with two odangos over her head and followed by two long ponytails ). She was also using a long white dress.
Tuxedo Kamen could see that she was looking at him with her hands joined, like if she was praying.
- The Silver Crystal. Find the Silver Crystal! - she says softly.
- But who are you? Where can I find it?
- Please find the Silver Crystal. Everything will be clear when you find it.
Mamoru wakes up completely sweaty. He was doing a small nap over his couch, but even that didn´t stop him of having that dream again.
- Again that same dream.
He gets up and goes to the balcony.
- But who is that princess? She doesn´t stop appearing in my dreams.
He goes inside and looks to the magazine that was over the table on the middle of his living room. He reads the article that was announcing the ball on the embassy.
- Maybe I could go look for the Silver Crystal in here - he decides.
Usagi and Luna arrives to embassy gate. Ami and Rei were already in there, and they were hided behind a tree in the sidewalk. Ami was using a blue dress and Rei was using a red dress.
- Hello, girls! You look so beautiful! - she praises them - I think you should dress like that more times.
- Really? Thank you! - says Ami with a shy smile.
- Thank you, Usagi! But this is not really my style, and this situation is an exception in my life since I don´t like these kind of parties. I prefer to be in the comfort of my normal clothes - explains a grumpy Rei - But that dress of yours is very beautiful, indeed. Is just a pitty that spot in there.
Usagi opens completely her eyes.
- A SPOT? WHERE? WHERE? IT CAN´T BE TRUE! THIS DRESS IS KNEW! - she says in panick, looking to every part of her dress.
Rei laughts with her reaction.
- Oh, Usagi! You´re so funny when you react like that.
Usagi looks at her with a deadly look that was making Rei laughing even more.
- Why you Rei... - she protests, pressing her fist in the air.
- Hey, girls! Enough of this! It´s time for us to get in - says Luna.
- Just a minute! I wanna show you something - says Ami, opening the papers that she had on her hands - With my laptop I could get a plan of the embassy and I printed them. This is where we are - she points to the gate on the plan - And this is the ballroom... and this is the Princess chambers.
- Nice work, Ami! Like this we know where we´ll find the princess. Is time to go!
They approach of the front gate, and seeing that the receptionist was checking the names of other guests, they took advantage to get in without being noticed. Luna jumps by the wall and gets in without being seen too.
When they pass by the front door, Usagi feels completely amazed. It was a huge place with a beautiful decoration. Everyone was dressed with formal dresses and they were using masks.
- So amazing! This is not just a ball. It´s a masquerade!
There was a big stair in front of them that they follow together. While they were following Ami´s guidance by the embassy, they pass by the ballroom where were many people dancing. Ami, Rei and Luna passed by there without even caring about it, but Usagi stopped in there and looked completely amazed to that majestic ballroom. Everyone was dancing gracefully and romantically.
- This is so beauuutifuuull! - she says with her eyes shining.
She gets in and spreads from the group without they notice. She spins around herself with her arms opened. Her eyes were shining with joy.
- This is so beautiful, so magical! It looks like I´m in a fairytale!
She could see that Naru and her mother were in there speaking happily with each other. Then she also could feel someone taking photos behind of her. Looking breifly behind of her, she sees that was her father.
- This girl looks just like Usagi! I wonder if Usagi will be sush a beautiful girl when she grows up?
"So funny! My dad is taking pictures without realizing who I am" - she giggles to herself.
Before Usagi stepped into the ballroom she didn´t noticed that it felt a scarf from her dress. Tuxedo Kamen passes by there and sees her and the scarf falling from her dress. She steps into the ballroom and Tuxedo Kamen approaches of her scarf and grabs it. He sees the bunny and her name "Usagi Tsukino" stitching on it and then he looks to were she was spinning around in the ballroom.
" Usako?" - he asks to himself. He concludes that was her from her figure.
He always found her beautiful with her casual clothes and when she is transformed in Sailor Moon. And now he was seeing a new version of her dressed like a princess. How can she have so many versions of herself and look so beautiful in all of them? And was impressive her similarity with the princess of his dreams.
Usagi walks by the ballroom, seeing everyone talk with each other or seeing couples dancing with each other. Then she leans on a wall, seeing everyone dancing in front of her. She was very happy to be in there, but she was missing something else.
- This is very beautiful and I know I´m having fun! But how do I wish to have someone to dance with me - she says with sad words - Even if I look like a princess, is not fun to be alone.
She was looking to the floor and was so lost in her thoughts that she didn´t hear the steps coming in her direction.
- Beautiful princess... May I´ve the pleasure of this dance?
Usagi raises her head and looks to the one who was in front of her and calling her. She was astonished when she saw that that gentle request was coming from Tuxedo Kamen. He was right in front of her showing a soft smile and offering his hand like a gentleman.
"Tuxedo Kamen" - she thinks as her eyes meets his - "I can´t believe he is here".
She accepts his request and touches his hand. He pulls her gently to the middle of the dance floor. Then he leads her hand to his shoulder and he rests his own hand on her waist. They start dancing graciously and gently in the middle of those that were dancing. They didn´t notice that there were some guests that were focused just on them. However, they weren´t paying attention to anything else. They were only delighted with that magical moment that was just for them.
" I can´t believe I´m dancing with Tuxedo Kamen" - she thinks to herself like if she was feeling in a fairy tale - "This is so magical! Am I dreaming? Please, don´t let this be a dream. " - She keeps thinking, seeing how tender and romantically he was looking to her. She could feel how warm and protective he was. She could also feel how precious and important she was feeling in his arms.
- You look so beautiful. I was waiting for this moment for so long - he says - You look beautiful in all your forms. When you fight and when you´re a princess - he says tenderly, but in a lower tone.
- Wait! You know I am... - she couldn´t finish her question because he covered her mouth softly with his finger.
- Please! Let this moment be just for us, without thinking in other things - he asks softly.
She did as he was saying and they kept dancing graciously. Usagi was feeling that she wanna keep dancing with him forever.
Ami, Rei and Luna were still walking by the corridors of the embassy. At a moment, they stopped at a point that calls Ami attention.
- Its in there! Those are Princess D chambers - she points to a specific door.
In front of that door there was a woman with short brown hair, using big glasses and using a formal dress. She was holding a treasure box in her hands.
- Thats her! Thats Princess D - confirms Luna.
They open the door and the Princess gets in, followed by a bodyguard. Rei immediately focused her attention in that bodyguard.
- That man... - she says, looking to him with suspicious - I can feel a strange energy coming from him.
- Is better that we´ll check what is happening behind that door - says Luna. Then she looks around - But... where... where is Usagi? I can´t believe she stepped away from us - says Luna in disbelief - I´m gonna look for her.
- That girl...! - protests Rei, touching her forehead with her hand - She has those kind of moments...
- Don worry, Rei! Luna will look for her! Lets check what his happening with Princess D - says Ami.
Meanwhile, after their dance, Usagi and Tuxedo Kamen were walking by the balcony and holding their hands like a romantic couple. They stopped to see the moonlight that was irradiating them. Usagi was feeling her soul being irradiated by that beautiful light.
Tuxedo Kamen was looking at her while she had her eyes closed and was seeing her "receiving" the moonlight and seeing her long platinum blond hair shining intensively. Then he touches her cheek gently and she looks at him. She approaches of him and touches his chest, while he hugs her.
- I´m so happy that you´re here with me - she says - I don´t want this to end. We could stay here and like this forever.
- How much I wish that. How much I want to have you always by my side.
- But what stops you? I can see you don´t like what you´re doing, whatever you´ve been doing. Why don´t you stop and come to me? - she asks with tears in her eyes.
- I´m sorry... for much I want that, I can´t... I´m sorry - he says with sadness, touching her check.
He touches her forehead with his in consolation. Then he starts approaching his lips of hers what she accepts automatically.
- What is happening here?
Both hear Luna´s voice next to them and they look to her in surprise. After that, Tuxedo Kamen runs immediately from there.
- Tuxedo Kamen! - calls Usagi, seeing him running until he disappears completely from her sight. Then she looks to her own hand that was touching his hand some secongs ago.
Luna approaches of her.
- Usagi, you need to open your eyes! - she says with firmness - We don´t know who he is or what he is looking for.
- I know but.. - she says, with tears in her eyes - But he is a very good person. I know that! - she defends, and turns again to the moonlight joining her hands like if she was praying, and trying to organize her thoughts.
Nefrite was in the garden of the embassy, controlling the bodyguard that was next to princess D, and was with her inside of her chambers.
Meanwhile, she grabs the box with the secret treasure and while she was looking for it, Nefrite´s double passes from the bodyguard to the Princess. The guard faints right after that, and Nefrite was now controlling the Princess. With an evil smile, the princess runs from there like a maniac.
Ami and Rei were right behind her door when the Princess opens it suddently. They see her running by the corridor like a maniac.
- THE LEGENDARY SILVER CRISTAL IS MINE! - she yells while she was running. Ami and Rei were hearing everything what she was yelling.
- There is a big negative energy that is controlling her. I can feel it! - says Rei with firmness.
- We know what we´ve to do! - decides Ami, seeing Ray agreeing with her - "MERCURY POWER! MAKE UP!
- "MARS POWER! MAKE UP!"
Both transform in Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars.
Usagi and Luna were at the balcony when they hear weird comments and whispers coming from inside. Even it stopped the classical music that was being played at the ballroom.
They look inside and they see Princess D running euphorically to the ballroom. They could see that she was holding the box of the Legendary Treasure.
- What is happening with her? - asks Usagi.
- This is weird. I can feel something wrong about this - says Luna.
Two bodyguards grab the Princess, trying to stop her. But her strenght is so big that she pushes them without problems.
- Whoever gets in my way will be offered as a sacrifice to our Great Ruler! - she condemns everybody. Then a big wave of power gets out from her body and spreads by that room. Everyone faints with that. Since Usagi and Luna were at the balcony that power was not affecting them.
After that, the Princess runs until the balcony and passes by Usagi and Luna at an incredible speed. The Princess approaches even more of the fence and sees Nefrite in the garden looking at her.
- Now, throw that treasure to me - he demands, ready to catch the box.
The Princess was about to throw the treasure from the balcony, but his stopped by Usagi who runs to her.
- Princess, what are you doing? - she asks, holding her by her shoulders and stopping her from proceeding.
- LET ME GO! - she demands and kicks Usagi with her knee, throwing her from the balcony.
- AAHHH! - yells Usagi, seeing herself falling.
- USAGI, NO! - yells Luna in despair, running to her.
Before Luna could catch her, Tuxedo Kamen runs faster to there and catches Usagi before she could fall to her death. He grabs her hand with all his strenght and devotion.
- Tuxedo Kamen! - she says his name with relief. But she was seeing that was not being easy for him to handle.
Meanwhile the Princess runs from there. Soon she arrives to the garden, to the point where was Nefrite waiting for her.
- Good! Now give me the treasure! - he demands.
"FIRE SOUL"
A jet of fire passes by them, stopping Princess D of approaching of Nefrite. Then they see Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury in front of them, ready to fight.
- You stole the Legendary Secret Treasure and put the life of the Princess D in danger - says Sailor Mars.
- We´ll not forgive you for that! - completes Sailor Mercury.
- Damn you! - protests Nefrite, snaping his fingers. He disappears from a black hole.
Then a black energy surrounds Princess D and emerges from her body, revealing Nefrite´s shadow and double. The Princess faints right after that.
At that moment, Usagi starts to slip from her glove and falls. Tuxedo Kamen jumps to catch her and Luna jumps to the fence with Usagi´s umbrella.
- USAGI, CATCH THIS! - she warns her, throwing the umbrella hoping that she would catch it.
While Usagi was falling, she could catch her umbrella and opens it. Tuxedo Kamen was holding her waist, and both were falling slowly and softly. They land safely on the ground. Then they look tenderly to each other.
- Today you saved me - he says, touching her hand - Are you hurt? - he asks.
- No, thanks to you! You´re the one who risked your life to save me - she answers softly, touching his hand with her other hand. She was feeling very comfortable with the warm of his touch.
- Please, keep safe Sailor Moon! - he says with a soft smile and running from there.
- Tuxedo Kamen! Don´t go! - she calls him, but he had already disappeared from her sight.
Then Luna runs to her side and touches her leg.
- Usagi! Is time to transform!
Usagi closes her eyes and sighs with concordance.
- I know! - she agrees, raising her hand in the air - "MOON PRISM POWER! MAKE UP!" - she transforms in Sailor Moon.
After her transformation, Sailor Moon runs to the point of the garden where her partners were fighting Nefrite´s double.
"SHABON BUBBLES" - Mercury shoots many shabon bubbles to Nefrite, but she sees it was in vain.
Then Mars grabs one her amulets.
" EVIL SPIRIT! BE EXORCIZED! - she throws it followed by a jet of fire, but just like in Mercury´s case, she couldn´t defeat him.
He laughs devilish of their failure.
- Your powers are useless, Sailors! Prepare to die!
- STOP! - they hear Sailor Moon´s voice - I´ll not forgive you for possessing the innocent Princess Diamond to steal the Legendary Secret Treasure. I´m Sailor Moon! The warrior who fights for Love and Justice! In the name of the Moon, I´ll punish you.
Then Sailor Moon touches her Tiara.
"MOON TIARA ACTION!" - Sailor Moon throws her tiara, but It passes throw Nefrite without effect.
Then Nefrite shoots a bomb of energy and distroys the tiara. Sailor Moon looks astonished as she sees her tiara breaking in pieces.
- Oh, no! My... my tiara! - she exclaims petrified, touching her cheeks with her hands.
- No! Sailor Moon! - exclaims Luna in terror, seeing everything.
- I told you your powers were useless to defeat me - repeats Nefrite with an evil smile.
- What... what are we gonna do now? - asks Usagi completely worried.
- Sailor Moon! - calls her Tuxedo Kamen who was over the roof next to them - Remember! The only thing that defeats the dark is the power of the light! - he explains with firmness.
In that moment, Sailor Moon sees the light of the moon shining over her and radiating her figure just like it was happening when she was at the balcony. That light was making her feel warm and it was surrounding her body with a strange and delightful energy.
"I can feel it! I can feel the power of the Moon all over my body" - she says with her eyes closed, receiving that power.
Then a new tiara appears in her forehead. Sailor Moon touches it and confirms its back. She could feel it was somekind of differend than before.
- Its here! I´ve a new tiara! - she says with radiance.
Luna approaches of her.
- Sailor Moon, use the new tiara reflecting the moonlight!
Sailor moon understands, and feeling the light of the moon reflecting the red jewel of her tiara, she touches it with trust. A big waive of power is shoot from it and it makes Nefrite´s double disappear.
Then seeing the princess lied on the floor and starting to wake up, the Sailors approach of her. Sailor Moon bends down and helps her to sit.
- Are you alright, Princess? - she asks.
- Whats happened? What have I been doing? - asks the princess - I can´t see anything. Where are my glasses?
Sailor Mercury grabs her glasses that were on the ground, and gives them to her. When she puts them, Luna approaches of her.
- Excuse me, Princess Diamond. But couldn´t you be the Moon Princess we´re looking for?
- WHAT? THE CAT... THE CAT TALKED... - she screamed and fainted again with the shock.
- Well, I think we can assume that she is not the Moon Princess.
Both Sailors agreed with Luna.
Some hours after, the girls had already returned to their normal forms and had returned to the party. It arrived the moment for Princess D to show the Secret Treasure that belongs to her family, and everyone was concentrated on the ballroom to see it. The Princess opens the treasure box and inside was a diamond statue of a princess.
- This is a statue of the Diamond Kingdom´s first princess, made with a 2000 karat diamond - explains the princess with proud.
But for much beautiful that that statue was, both Usagi, Ami, Rei and Luna couldn´t stop feeling very disappointed.
- Clearly that treasure is not the Legendary Silver Crystal! - says Luna disappointed, being holded by Ami - We couldn´t find the Moon Princess neither the Silver Cristal.
Seeing that that moment was not interesting her anymore, Usagi stepped away from them and walked to the balcony.
- I´m starting to feel very tired with all this activity - she says, yawning - I think I´ll rest here for a while - she decides lying down on a bench.
She falls asleep without she notices.
Tuxedo Kamen was also in there and he was seeing everything what she was doing on the balcony. He approaches of her and touches gently her cheek. She was opening and closing her eyes while she was feeling his warm and familiar touch. Then he bends down and kisses her softly.
"This feeling... Something is so familiar. These soft, warm, sweet lips..." - those were Usagi´s thoughts and feelings at that moment.
- Stay way from Usagi! - demands Luna, appearing suddently in there.
Tuxedo Kamen stops kissing Usagi and looks to Luna.
- Who are you? Why are you there wherever we go?
- Because I´m also looking for the Silver Crystal - he reveals.
- Are you on our side or are you or enemy?
- Who knows? If we´re looking for the same thing, perhaps I´m an enemy - he concludes, simply.
Then she jumps from the balcony and runs from there, while Usagi was still sleeping on the bench.
