THE JOURNAL OF A BEN-HASSRATH

The High Tamassran Justinia has made her move. She summoned the Bas Saarebas and the Basvaarad for a peace conference. It will take place in a small town named Heaven and the talks will start next year. If I remember rightly, the new Arishok was there when the good people of Ferelden had their own mess some years ago.
I know the story. At that time, the Arishok was a Sten and was sent there to find out what is the Blight and the Darkspawn. There he met Basalit-an, Myrrah of the Sabrae clan, also known later, as the Hero of Ferelden. After their campaign together and the defeat of the Archdemon, at the hands of the Dalish elf and her merry group, she and Sten traveled to Seheron.
I heard that the former Arishok received a full report for both and questioned Basalit-an Myrrah about The Grey Wardens, The Archdemon, the Darkspawn, and the Blight. He was so impressed by her deeds that rectified her title; even he opened the possibility to aid the Grey Wardens in their endless task to defeat the Darkspawn. But she vanished without a trace and the death of the previous Arishok stopped the talks.
Now the spotlight is on that quaint little village once more. I guess that I have to pull some strings in order to get a contract as peacekeepers or something like that and be there.
