A/N: It's finale time! And do I have a doozy of an author's note for you at the end.

The final recap begins by showing a wrecked jumbo jet. "Last time on Total Drama World tour!" Brick is shown peering over a sandstone rock, then Xena is shown getting into the makeshift balloon with Eva, then Jo is shown on the train. "Our final three took off like bats out of drumheller!" Xena and Eva are shown flying through the sky towards a storm. "Xena teamed up with Eva in a desperate bid to get to Hawaii. Jo and Brick are shown fighting on the train. "Jo and Brick had a show down on top of a train," Jo is shown fighting Brick with swordfish. "And the a fearsome swordfish fight!"

Xena shown arriving on the island. "In the end Xena the overlogical made it to Hawaii first." Jo, Brick, and Max are all shown landing on the beach. "And in an explosive twist, Brick and Jo tied for second." Max is shown being taken away by the police. "And Max finally got arrested FOR BLOWING UP MY PLANE!"

Chris is shown on the beach with the final three standing behind him. "Who will Xena face in a final challenge, and who will go home with a million dollars? It's finale time right here, on Total! Drama! Woooorrrrlllddd~ Tooouuurrrr~!"

Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doin' fine;

(Chef is in the cockpit, the cook gives the camera glare as it passes through. The camera moves past several baggage trucks.)

You guys are on my mind!

(The camera moves past the CN tower and dives into the water.)

Ya asked me what I wanted to be,

(Lightning is swimming in the water when he spots a shark and begins to fight with it.)

And now I think the answer is plain to see!

(Harold stands on top of the straw roof of a hut on a woven boat. An oar flies threw the air to hit him.)

I wanna be...famous!

(Amber and Topher are fighting on the boat, and it is clear one of them accidently hit Harold in the tussle. Crocodiles leap from the water snapping their jaws. The boat moves off screen and we see a crocodile wince on the word be. The camera moves back to the boat revealing it had run into an inflatable raft where Alejandro is standing. Amber panics and tries to help while Topher just laughs.)

I wanna live close to the sun!

(The camera moves to the statue of liberty, we cut to the top where Brick is offering Jo a helping hand, only for her to grab it and body slam him instead.)

Well pack your bags, 'cause I've already won!

(Tyler runs past the two, pushing a baby carriage holding Noah. Max is nearby and the jock trips over her, sending Noah flying out of the carriage and into a sign.)

Everythin' to prove,

(Noah lands in Eva's arms as she stands on a tundra. He gives her a grateful smile.)

Nothin' in my way;

I'll get there one day.

(We pan right where Amy rolls her eyes. A polar bear taps on her shoulder and she looks horrified, but then Dawn and Ella calm the bear and Amy smiles.)

'Cause I wanna be...famous!

(We zoom in past ice caps to see Duncan and Gwen surfing a giant wave. It seems to be too much as they are swept up in the surf.)

Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa

(Xena and Anne Maria are walking across a New York City crosswalk. They are startled as the jet passes them, sending leaves through the air. We switch to a scene of the contestants in a human pyramid atop the jet, wearing parachutes and kicking in beat. The bottom row contains Jo, Anne Maria, Harold, Max, Xena, and Brick. The first row up contains Topher, Amber Alejandro, Eva, and Noah, the next row up contains Duncan, Gwen, Amy, and Tyler, on top of the pyramid is Lightning holding Ella and Dawn on one of his shoulders each.)

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous! (Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa)

(The plane passes big ben, causing the clock face to pop out. It passes the arc de Triomphe causing a mime to drop his croissant. It flies past a rock balancing on.a stone pillar, knocking it off and causing it to fall in front of the camera kicking up dust)

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous! (Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa)

(The dust clears to show, Ella and Dawn smiling at one another, It pans to show Eva glaring, then down to Jo.)

(The lyrics end and we see Chef Hatchet glare. He turns the plane, sending all the contestants falling through the air in parachutes. Everyone but Max lands in front of a sign with the show's name on it. As the song ends Max lands face first in the middle of the group)

The episode proper begins where the recap left off. With the only exception being that , Geoff, and Kitty were standing to Chris' left, in addition to the final three to his right. "Welcome to the live finale of Total Drama World Tour. Moments ago these two tied for second. "During the break we sent them to vent in the confessional. Check it!"

(confessional)

Jo: This is it. The final showdown. I can't let Brick get in the way. I need to get out of my own head and focus on the game. I have to win this. If I lose to a guy I'll never hear the end of it.

Static

Brick: So, it comes down to this. I don't want to fight Jo but I will not hold back. She deserves nothing less than me at my best.

Static

On the beach Jo looks at Brick. "I appreciate that you respect me enough to give this your all. If I found out you were holding out on me I'd beat you up."

"Holding back would be a disservice to you." The cadet replied.

"Go Team Brick!" A voice shouted, the focus shifted to show the cast in their bleachers. The speaker is revealed to be Sammy, who is holding a flag with Brick's face on it. "You deserve the win!" Sammy cheered.

"But he won't. Cause Jo's willing to fight dirty." Amy smirked at her sister.

Jo frowned. "Why does everyone have flags? And why do so few have mine?!"

"The peanut gallery is playing a major role in choosing a winner." Chris explained.

"Are we voting again? Because I really couldn't choose." Ella frowned.

"I hope we are. Brick would clench it!" Harold said.

"That would be such a boring way for him to win." Topher remarked. "The audience demands satisfaction!"

[Confessional]

Xena: Truly I do not care who ends up in the finale with me. I will take them down and finally gain my winnings. Besides, I am sure if I explain what I intend for the money they would vote in my favor.

Static

"But first, we gotta break a tie!" Chris declared. "Xena, you won the race to Hawaii, so your reward is this advantage. You can select the tiebreaker yourself. Or you can let Jo or Brick do it."

"Choosing the tiebreaker myself seems like the most logical course of action." Xena replied.

"I was hoping you'd say that." Chris chuckled.

Geoff and Kitty pushed a rectangular prism made of glass with a large transparent yellow ball on top of it, onto the beach. Chris walked up to it and continued his introduction. "Each ball inside our challenge booth has a different tiebreaker written on it. So, take your pick."

"Fine." Xena noted entering the challenge booth. The booth shook and small balls began to fall out of the yellow sphere atop. She winced. Despite this her voice remained deadpanned as she asked. "These are golf balls, are they not?"

"What?" Kitty frowned. "But we totally put ping pong balls in there!" Geoff nodded in agreement.

"I know and I'm not mad, just disappointed. I had to dial it up to meet my usual high standards." Chris replied.

Xena caught a golf ball and opened the door to the booth handing it to Chris.

"Geoff my man, you wanna read it?" The host offered.

The party dude took it from him. "Xena has selected the traditional Hawaiian fire dance of death!"

"The what now?" Brick asked. Jo didn't flinch.

/

Jo and Brick are standing on a wooden platform in the ocean. Both are wearing grass skirts and coconut bras. Jo's is worn over her gray hoodie. Each of them is holding a pole with padding on either end. Xena is tied to a stake at the center of the platform.

"I would like to point out that this is not a Hawaiian tradition." Xena deadpanned.

"What was your first clue? The fact Brick had to wear a coconut bra?" Jo scoffed.

"Topher, Scott, Amy, Duncan, Lightning, and Anne Maria all Laughed at Xena's current situation.

"I fail to see what you are deriving such joviality from." The overlogical girl replied flatly.

"For someone so smart, you sure are dense." Chris joked Chef stood next him with a pink slip with purple flowers at his waist, a flower crown on his head, a quiver of arrows on his back and a bow in his hand.

"First to free Xena wins the last spot in the final two, and a shot at the million." The host said.

"If we leave her there, will Brick and I get to be the finalists?" Jo asked.

"Won't work I already checked. Chef, if you'd do the honors?" Chris said.

Chef shot off two fire arrows into the pits on either side of the platform. "Oh, and stay out of the water," Chris added. "Starting now!" Chef shot two more arrows, these with meat on them, into the water around them. The water teemed with sharks immediately. Jo rolled her eyes.

"We've beaten sharks before. You seriously need to get a new bit McLame!" Jo taunted.

The two met each other in the center of the platform, each pushing against the other as their padded poles clashed. "You're strong Brick, but my determination will win out!"

"Don't count me out so quickly." Brick replied calmly.

"Don't be afraid to fight dirty Jo!" Duncan called out.

"Yeah! Remember kicking, punching, and biting are all valid options!" Amy said.

"Less talk from the peanut gallery!" Jo called, getting pushed back due to her distraction and a good hit from Brick.

"You can do it Brick! Virtue will surely win the day!" Harold declared.

"You got this man!" Trent added.

"I thank you for your support!" Brick called, Jo hit him hard with her padded pole and regained her footing. At this point both were still near the center of the platform.

That was when an arrow on fire hit into the pole setting it on fire. Lightning gasped. "Sha dang, that pole is on fire!"

A determined look came into Brick's eyes. Suddenly a burst of strength allowed him to knock Jo to the floor of the platform. "My biggest duty is to protect." The cadet said. He slammed the pole into Jo, sending her into the water.

Brick ran over to Xena, doused the flames with water, and began to untie her. The overlogical girl seemed confused. "I do not understand. Where did that extra strength come from? Was it an adrenaline rush out of fear that the fire would spread to the platform?"

"No." Brick said. "It was my desire to keep you from harm that gave me the strength to win."

/

Xena and Brick are shown standing on the beach in front of Chris. ""Now that we know who the final two are, it's my pleasure to announce that the peanut gallery will not be voting for the winner." Chris said.

"What?!" Amy yelled from the peanut gallery. "But you said we were gonna play a major role!"

"Yep, just not in a votey kind of way." The host smirked. "Prepare to have your minds blown up by the most lethal challenge in Total Drama history! Xena versus Brick versus the volcano!"

"Back in the day human sacrifices were tossed into Kilauea volcano to appease the gods. Sadly, we're not using real people as sacrifices. So instead, Xena and Brickwill have to make sacrifice stand ins using the island's most abundant resources." He pointed to his left and the focus shifted over to a pile of driftwood and a couple interns hastily replacing pineapples with coconuts. "Pineapples and driftwood."

"Chris, those are coconuts." Brick pointed out.

Chris turned to look. "Interns!" The short female intern with a unibrow and the blonde intern came to his side. "Why have you replaced the pineapples?"

"Noah pointed out that they would cause the volcano to erupt." The female intern told him. "And when it comes to safety I trust him more than you."

The host looked put out. "Okay fine. I guess if the volcano erupted it could burn my face or something."

Chris took a deep breath and regained his hostly grin. "Coconuts and driftwood then. And to make it nice and symbolic, you guys have to make dummies of each other to dump in the volcano." The host continued. "Now, you each get to pick two helpers."

"Xena, if I can offer you my assistance I would be honored." Alejandro said.

"I'd like to help too!" Tyler cheered.

"No! I can guarantee you victory!" Scott called.

"I will take Alejandro and Tyler." Xena said.

"What?! I thought you were logical? Tyler would trip over his own feet!" Scott scowled.

"He may be clumsy, but I know I can trust him. You however have proven you cannot be trusted. For all I know your support is a ploy so you can undermine me at the last second." Xena said.

Alejandro and Tyler ran to the beach as Scott pouted.

"And your picks Brick?" Chris asked.

"Brick! I am helping you win! I won't take no for an answer!" Jo declared.

The cadet smiled. "Then I won't refuse, and I trust Eva above all, so I will have her as my second."

Jo and Eva joined the group on the beach.

"If I can't win the million at least I'm in the finale!" Eva cheered.

/

Chris, both finalists, and their helpers are now on the beach. A blue gray mat is in front of Xena, and a Jade Green mat in front of Brick.

"Okay we have our helpers. Now Xena and Brick, you have to stay on your mats and direct your helpers to bring you logs, driftwood, and coconuts that resemble parts of your opponent, and to make things a little more rhymey-" A familiar ding went off.

(Final song: Verses)

Alejandro and Tyler are shown in their normal colors briefly before the entire scene shifted to an orange background of flowers, and they became shaded in blue gray. The same floral background shifts to blue as a godlike Xena popped out of a volcano, all three the same blue shade. Xena nodded. "My allies," She brought out a light blue lightning bolt and hurled it at the boys making them run forward. The background is now purple. "Please advance, that's it, don't leave things to chance!" A pile of giant wood shaded blue dropped in front of Alejandro and Tyler. "Search through that wood, be fleet,"

Xena is shown again with a finger held to her head in thought. "Bring me some convincing feet!"

Next to Xena another volcano emerged, this one Jade green and a godlike Brick erupted out of it. He immediately pulled out her own lightning and began throwing it at Brick and Eva, shaded the same green, who got to work quickly. "Come on soldiers move out fast, we're not gonna come in last," The two ran past Alejandro who already had a log picked out. "Find parts to match her frame, and you'll receive acclaim!"

Both finalists are shown throwing lightning bolts as they sang the chorus, ending with them shooting at each other resulting in a teal cloud. "I'm gonna win it (Yeah!), And you can't take it (No!), I'm right here in it (Yeah!), I'm gonna make it! (Oh!)"

Eva is shown gesturing to a thin log shaded green "Are these hips wide enough?"

"Yes!" Brick agreed.

Meanwhile, Tyler was examining their own model. "Is this neck thick enough?" A puff of teal smoke gave him a microphone and he was now standing on a small rock between the two volcanos.

He began to rap, gesturing first to Brick then Xena." Bam! Now it's virtue vs logic, this fight's gonna be iconic, Still Xena is my friend and so, I'm hoping that she wins the dough!

Alejando is shown with one foot each on top of two thick arms hanging from rope as Xena sings instructions to them. "That's it, now hurry quick, I need arms muscled and thick." Xena is shown looking at Brick as she sings. "His shoulders are limber and broad, and his logic is flawed."

Brick frowned as he retorted. "Bring me two convincing knees, and then some arms you better seize." He picks up Jo. "Bring me a well proportioned head, please, do it in my stead!" He dropped her and the chorus repeated as they threw lightning bolts at each other again. "I'm gonna win it (Yeah!), And you can't take it (No!), I'm right here in it (Yeah!), I'm gonna make it! (Oh!)"

Eva is shown on some scaffolding next to a giant idol that looked a lot like Xena. "Now it's time to seal the deal" The focus moved back to show both idols were finished except for the head of each. "cause we're gonna win that mil!"

Brick is nodding in approval. "I'll pay you back I vow! coconut head me now!" Jo is shown pushing a giant coconut, as the chorus was sung one last time.

Brick and Xena continued to shoot lightning bolts at each other "I'm gonna win it (Yeah!), And you can't take it (No!), I'm right here in it (Yeah!), I'm gonna make it! (Oh!)"

This time when the teal smoke cleared it was to show Jo was still pushing a giant coconut before looking up in shock as Alejandro placed the head on Xena's idol.

The finalists continued their final lines of song. "I'm gonna cash it (Yeah!), You'll never win it (No!), You should trash it (Yeah!)"

The scene faded back to reality as Xena sang the final line, an arm on her finished Idol. "Cause I just finished!"

"And Xena takes the lead!" Chris announced. "Next steps haul your sacrifice to the top of Kilauea and toss them into the volcano." An intern is shown throwing an idol into the volcano. "Be careful, you don't want to be hit by the splashback."

The host turned to the camera to segway to commercial. "We'll be right back with all the hardcore lavariffic sizzling finale action, here on Total Drama World Tour!"

/

We return to the season finale with Xena and Brick both standing on the beach holding their idols. "I assume we will not be receiving any safety equipment to climb this thing." Xena said.

"Hey, as long as you're careful it's still theoretically safe. It's not like the volcano is due to erupt anytime soon, and we fixed the pineapple problem so we shouldn't set off an eruption." Chris shrugged. " I'm sure it's safe enough."

"That's comforting." Brick swallowed nervously.

"To help you get those dummies to the top of the volcano you can use the rewards your team's earned on your behalf in the aftermath lava surfing challenge." A blue baby carriage rolled towards them. " Brick won a baby stroller." A wheelbarrow rolled to them. "Xena won a wheelbarrow."

"Xena," The host continued. "For winning the effigy building challenge you get a twenty second head start. So, get going."

Xena put her dummy in the wheelbarrow and began to run off. "I need every advantage I can get." She headed up the volcano.

Brick put his dummy in the baby carriage which collapsed immediately. Chris chuckled as he glared and headed to the volcano.

/

Further up the volcano Xena is doing her best to get a lead, but a combination of her dummy being heavier and her poor strength, Brick easily began to catch up. "For the sake of everyone you're hurt, I must defeat you."

Xena raised an eyebrow as she continued to push her wheelbarrow. "I must say I am surprised you of all people would have that reaction. Tell me Brick, if you had to hurt eighteen people to save the lives of hundreds, possibly thousands you would do it surely? After all, your aspiration is to be a high ranked military officer. Is war not about sacrificing the lives of others to save even more people?"

Brick frowned. "Yes. It is. But you misunderstand. While a soldier fights, it is always done to protect. Whether it's your fellow soldiers or civilians, or even to protect the rights of a place from those that would take it from them. As far as I can see, you are not doing this to protect. Even if you have a good intention for the money, it is not worth what you've done."

Xena shrugged. At this point Brick had pulled up even and they were nearly up the first slope. "I suppose I cannot expect someone as emotional as you to understand."

The two had finally reached the top. Both had to skid to stop as there was a river of lava with stepping stones ahead of them. "I knew there would be something else. Chris is never this lenient with challenges." Xena deadpanned.

"Really? A river of lava?!" Brick gasped.

"The only way to the top of the volcano is past this river of lava. That wheelbarrow probably won't be too helpful. "Chris said.

"There goes my advantage." Xena sighed.

"All you have to do is hop across these stepping stones. Easy peasy hot and cheesy." Chris explained. He pointed above them. Above the stepping stones were several objects. A log, a grand piano, a safe, a heavy weight, an armchair, a cage, and what looked like a warhead? "but we've rigged a few booby traps to, that's right-"

"Make things interesting," The two finalists said.

"Seriously Chris, you do know that your contract does not make you impervious to lawsuits?" Xena asked.

"Why are you worried about lawsuits, we should be concerned for our lives." Brick frowned.

"Chef a booby trap demo if you please." Chef slashed one of the ropes and the log fell down into the lava.

"Yeah, you really don't wanna get hit by those." The host said. He gestured right and Eva, Brick, Tyler and Alejandro walked up. "Your helpers can either keep them secure or send them falling. It's your call. "And go!"

Xena picked up her idol and slowly began to jump across the stepping stones. Brick began as well. While Xena was weaker and slower she was also capable of determining how much distance was between each stone, so she didn't hesitate to jump. Brick on the other hand was faster, but also more cautious meaning the two were about on par with each other.

Xena didn't hesitate. "Slash at will gentlemen."

The duo now had machetes in their hands. Jo and Eva's faces hardened. Brick spoke up. "Hold them off if you can!"

The two strong women now had their own machete's which they held up to block their rivals. Jo held off Alejandro, while Eva easily held back Tyler.

Alejandro smirked. "On the defensive Jo? It's unlike you to doubt your strength."

"I'm not doubting anything Al! I can take you anytime!" The jockette glared.

A furious look came into Alejandro's eyes. "My name is not Al!" A burst of angry strength allowed the Spaniard to push Jo down. Then he slashed one of the ropes.

The armchair nearly crushed Xena. "Do not attack me!" The overlogical girl said.

"Which ropes are connected to Brick's obstacles?" Alejandro asked.

"Chef?" Chris asked, gesturing to him. The cook shrugged. "Nice."

The two finalists continued to jump across the stepping stones. The heavy weight nearly hit Brick. "Ah!" The focus shifted to show Eva as the one to do it. "Eva, stand down! The obstacles are just as liable to hurt me as Xena!"

"But you can dodge, eventually she won't be able to." Jo smirked.

"That is not a risk we should take!" Brick told them.

The armchair fell next, nearly hitting Xena. "Alejandro, Tyler, hold them off until I've finished crossing."

Obviously Alejandro managed to hold off Jo, much to the jockette's chagrin. Tyler on the other hand was quickly pushed over by Eva. His machete fell from his hands, slicing another rope. This time the cage fell on Brick.

"Excellent work." Xena said, hopping the rest of the way across the rocks. She turned to Brick. "Know that I take no joy in beating you." She said, With that she started running up the volcano off screen.

Brick began to ram against the side of the cage. "I can't let her win!"

"You can do it Brick." Jo said. "I know you can! You're one of the only guys I've met that can go toe to toe with me in combat. And if you beat me earlier, you can beat her here and now! All you need is a little more umph!"

Brick nodded and slammed one final time, knocking the cage over. "I'm not out yet." He said, he looked over in surprise as Jo ran up the volcano alongside him. "Jo?"

"Chris never said I couldn't help you, and I wanna finish this together." The jockette said. The two quickly caught up to an exhausted Xena, and as they continued Brick's foot dislodged a stone that hit Xena, knocking her further down.

/

At the top of the volcano all of the contestants are standing. The only exception being Jo. They're all sweaty and many are panting. Chris is shown holding the million, not looking sweaty at all. The focus pulls back to show Chris and Chef are surrounded by ice, and somehow there is a fan blowing cool air at them. "So," The host began. "You know of any season three wrap parties?" Chef rolled his eyes in response then walks away. Chris gave him an unamused look, but he brightened when he saw a contestant. "Here they come!"

Brick jumped on to the lip of the volcano, Jo at his side. "You looking for this?" Chris smirked as held up the suitcase.

The cadet moved forward. "So, guess that's it huh?" Jo said. "You're gonna win the million, and then we'll never see each other again."

Brick paused and turned to the jockette. He walked over and got down on one knee, grabbing her hand. "No. I would never let that be the end of this."

"Brick, what are you doing?" Jo asked. "Go win."

"Not yet. Once I've won, you might run from me again. Here and now, on this volcano, you have to stay for the sake of the show. Which means this could be the only chance I get to have you listen to me." Brick explained. Jo looked nervous. "I've been trying to tell you for a while that I like you romantically. And I get it, you think love's a weakness, but Jo, if it was, would I have made it this far? Would I be here with you?"

Jo was silent for a moment then. "Well, I guess if you can like me and make it this far, maybe love isn't the weakness I thought it was."

Brick leaned forward and kissed her. It didn't get to go on for long though.

"Hello?! There's a challenge! In the time you've had your confession Xena's caught up." Chris said.

The two pulled apart and the focus showed that Xena had indeed made it to the top. She ran for the hole in the volcano's top.

Jo picked up Brick. "What are you doing?"

"Trust me." She said as she threw the cadet to the lip of the volcano. Brick landed unsteadily and fell to the ground as Xena pushed her idol into the volcano.

"And that's a cool mil for Xena!" Chris declared. "The winner of Total Drama World Tour!" Chris held up the suitcase and Xena opened it.

Xena's eyes were wide and a few small tears fell. "I actually did it. I beat the odds?"

Alejandro ran over with Tyler and hugged her. "You did it! I knew you could do it.!" Tyler cheered.

And then Xena did something she very rarely did. She smiled the smallest amount. "Yes you did Tyler. Yes you did."

Chris interrupted. "We only have permission to be on the volcano for an hour. So meet me back on the beach to wrap things up!"

/

Everyone was now gathered on the beach as the two finalists looked at each other. "I might not agree with how you won this money, but since you have, I'm curious as to what you want to spend it on. Even from a logical point of view, what could possibly be worth what you've done?" Brick asked.

"Well" The overlogical girl began pulling out some of the money. "Alejandro and Tyler are getting one hundred thousand each for helping me."

The two boys took the money in awe. "You're giving it to us?" Tyler asked.

"Yes. It is only logical to pay you for your efforts in helping me achieve my goal. If I do things right, eight hundred thousand should be enough for my studies." Xena explained.

"Studies? You're using it for education?" Duncan asked, flabbergasted.

"What kind of education needs that much money?" Sammy asked.

"Even with a scholarship, becoming a neurosurgeon requires a lot of time and money. Remember what I said about saving the lives of hundreds? Possibly Thousands?" The overlogical girl said.

Brick looked over at a lone Jo on the beach. He walked to her. "You okay?"

"If I hadn't been there you'd have won. If i hadn't distracted you, you'd be a millionaire." The jockette said.

Brick smiled and cupped her face. "Hey, I might not have a million, but I still won." With that he kissed Jo again. This time the jockette quickly took the lead and pushed him to the sand.

The focus shifted back to Chris. As he stood with all of the other contestants surrounding him. "From all of us, thank you for watching. It's been a wild ride and we wouldn't have it without you. I have been your host, Chris McLean and this has been Total Drama World Tour!"

The focus zoomed out to show a beautiful sunset as everyone began to talk among themselves. A happy sigh from Chris is heard before the shot fades to black. The final words heard being. "I really love this show."

/

/

/

/

…That was one turn of events but what actually happened was…

/

/

/

/

The two pulled apart and the focus showed that Xena had indeed made it to the top. She ran for the hole in the volcano's top.

Jo picked up Brick. "What are you doing?"

"Trust me." She said as she threw the cadet to the lip of the volcano. Brick landed perfectly and threw his idol in just before Xena managed to push it over.

"And that's a cool mil for Brick!" Chris declared. "The winner of Total Drama World Tour!" Most of the cast cheered as Chris held up the suitcase and Brick opened it.

The cadet stared at the money in shock and disbelief. "I won. I actually beat Xena?"

"You bet you did." Jo smirked, kissing him again.

"Yeah! If someone besides me won I'm glad it was you!" Eva roared.

Chris interrupted. "We only have permission to be on the volcano for an hour. So meet me back on the beach to wrap things up!"

/

Everyone was now gathered on the beach as the two finalists looked at each other. "It was a well fought victory Brick. Know that I hold no ill will to you, even if I am deeply disappointed. Tell me, what do you intend for the money?"

Brick looked at Xena. "Well I'm planning to give some to my helpers." He said, reaching in and grabbing a hundred and twenty five thousand to Eva and Jo."

"This is more than enough." Eva smirked. "Thought I wouldn't have gotten mad if you kept it all to yourself."

"You're seriously sharing it?" Jo asked, clearly surprised.

"Hey, seven hundred and fifty thousand is still a lot of money. And to be honest…I was planning to spend some of it on fashion school." Brick admitted.

"Really?!" Cameron and Ellody said. " I Would never have expected that."

Duncan reluctantly handed Noah a twenty. "Seriously, how'd you know?"

"I might have seen his file at some point." Noah smirked.

"And of course some will go to charity." Brick continued.

"At least the money is going to a good cause." Xena said, walking off. Tyler followed her and the focus moved alongside them until Xena sat on the edge of the beach.

"You okay?" Tyler asked.

"I am…alright. I simply cannot pursue my career of choice anymore." Xena told him.

"What did you want to go into? You said something to Brick about saving people?" Tyler asked.

Xena nodded. "When I was younger I tried to think of what would logically be the best way that I could help humanity. Eventually I concluded with my logical mind, control over my emotions, and steady hands I would be adept at surgery. Over time I managed to narrow it down to becoming a neurosurgeon. The only problem I could see was that it takes a lot of time and a lot of money to become one. I had hoped to use the money I won here to achieve that."

She sighed. "It was why I signed up for Total Drama in the first place. My plans with the initial money were to invest it so I would have enough by the time I needed it. Why do you think I went on so many shows with you? When I qualified for World Tour, I saw a chance to get all the money I would need at once. So I determined I would win at all cost. After all, what is hurting a few if I can save far more people?"

Tyler looked confused. "Xena, can't you just get a student loan?"

"Negatory. Going into debt for the sake of a career I may not even be hired for is not logical." Xena said.

Tyler smiled at her. "Sometimes it's okay to take a chance. You'd be getting a job that must earn a lot of money. You could definitely pay it off. Haven't you ever heard of a calculated risk?"

Xena looked like she was pondering Tyler's words.

The focus shifted back to Chris. As he stood with all of the other contestants surrounding him. Jo is kissing Brick again."From all of us, thank you for watching.

The final words heard were: "I really love this show."

A/N: Because like I was going to end the entire series with everyone being nearly caught in an eruption. I've always hated that part of the canon ending.

so Brick moves on to the finale and wins. As you may have noticed I uploaded two chapters today. This is because I was super attached to the idea of both Brick and Jo's finales so I wrote both out. You can consider Jo's and alternate non canon ending. There are a lot of similarities to the canon events but also several differences. So if you're interested you can read that.

As hard as it was I eventually decided on Brick as it was more unique when compared to the events of canon. As you may have noticed, the theming for Brick vs Xena is the idea of virtue vs logic. Tyler does spell it out in the song after all. The idea being that Brick cares more about how everything affects the people around him, and believes that hurting someone to achieve a goal is not worth it.

You might say that its strange for someone who aspires to be soldier to hold such a view, but as I hope I made clear, Brick wants to be a soldier to protect. A lot of soldiers do what they do for such a purpose. Sure there are some who go wrong, but overall that's what they're meant to be doing. Whether they end up doing so or not is up for debate, but that's the goal.

Xena on the other hand is a big believer in "The ends justify the means." Logically if the final outcome causes more good than harm it's the right course to take. Since Xena intends to use the money to become a neurosurgeon, someone who saves lives, she views whatever she does in the game as justified. And it seemed like a vulcan type of logic to not even consider a student loan because of the risk involved.

Now obviously this isn't true, and I didn't give her this desire so she "Looked good" Or "Would be absolved for her wrong doing." She's still in the wrong. Still the villain. Thanos isn't a good guy just because he has good intent.

It's because for how Xena's mind works. She needs to have a logical reason for wanting to win so much. A reason for wanting so much cash. You might say that having money is logically a good thing no matter what, but for Xena benefitting herself alone wouldn't be worth it. She's very numbers driven. If its her against eighteen people it's not worth it. Basically if Xena was confronted with the trolley problem she would pull the lever without thinking about it. Unless the person tied to the other track was Tyler.

Ultimately the reason I landed on this was that it's still a selfish want. Xena doesn't view it as selfish, but it is. She's still using the money to achieve her dream. The other reason she wants to win the money of course is because she doesn't think anyone else would spend it well. She thinks most of the contestants would spend it frivolously. In her mind this would make all the suffering of Total Drama senseless.

Anyway moving on to coloring. Brick is Jade Green because in some cultures Jade is seen as a protective charm. Xena is gray blue because it's a color that is viewed as seeming unfeeling for better or worse.

Helperwise I think its pretty obvious why Brick's helper are who they are. Xena's are because Alejandro was the person she was closest to in Season one, and Tyler is the one person Xena trusts above all.

The climatic moment where Brick and Jo finally get together is melodramatic, but that's because it's that way in canon. It also just feels like a Brick move.

And don't think this is the end. Since this is the final season of reordered I intend to write a short epilogue taking place a year later.
