The final recap begins by showing a wrecked jumbo jet. "Last time on Total Drama World tour!" Brick is shown peering over a sandstone rock, then Xena is shown getting into the makeshift balloon with Eva, then Jo is shown on the train. "Our final three took off like bats out of drumheller!" Xena and Eva are shown flying through the sky towards a storm. "Xena teamed up with Eva in a desperate bid to get to Hawaii. Jo and Brick are shown fighting on the train. "Jo and Brick had a show down on top of a train," Jo is shown fighting Brick with swordfish. "And the a fearsome swordfish fight!"

Xena hown arriving on the island. "In the end Xena the overlogical made it to Hawaii first." Jo, Brick, and Max are all shown landing on the beach. "And in an explosive twist, Brick and Jo tied for second." Max is shown being taken away by the police. "And Max finally got arrested FOR BLOWING UP MY PLANE!"

Chris is shown on the beach with the final three standing behind him. "Who will Xena face in a final challenge, and who will go home with a million dollars? It's finale time right here, on Total! Drama! Woooorrrrlllddd~ Tooouuurrrr~!"

Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doin' fine;

(Chef is in the cockpit, the cook gives the camera glare as it passes through. The camera moves past several baggage trucks.)

You guys are on my mind!

(The camera moves past the CN tower and dives into the water.)

Ya asked me what I wanted to be,

(Lightning is swimming in the water when he spots a shark and begins to fight with it.)

And now I think the answer is plain to see!

(Harold stands on top of the straw roof of a hut on a woven boat. An oar flies threw the air to hit him.)

I wanna be...famous!

(Amber and Topher are fighting on the boat, and it is clear one of them accidently hit Harold in the tussle. Crocodiles leap from the water snapping their jaws. The boat moves off screen and we see a crocodile wince on the word be. The camera moves back to the boat revealing it had run into an inflatable raft where Alejandro is standing. Amber panics and tries to help while Topher just laughs.)

I wanna live close to the sun!

(The camera moves to the statue of liberty, we cut to the top where Brick is offering Jo a helping hand, only for her to grab it and body slam him instead.)

Well pack your bags, 'cause I've already won!

(Tyler runs past the two, pushing a baby carriage holding Noah. Max is nearby and the jock trips over her, sending Noah flying out of the carriage and into a sign.)

Everythin' to prove,

(Noah lands in Eva's arms as she stands on a tundra. He gives her a grateful smile.)

Nothin' in my way;

I'll get there one day.

(We pan right where Amy rolls her eyes. A polar bear taps on her shoulder and she looks horrified, but then Dawn and Ella calm the bear and Amy smiles.)

'Cause I wanna be...famous!

(We zoom in past ice caps to see Duncan and Gwen surfing a giant wave. It seems to be too much as they are swept up in the surf.)

Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa

(Xena and Anne Maria are walking across a New York City crosswalk. They are startled as the jet passes them, sending leaves through the air. We switch to a scene of the contestants in a human pyramid atop the jet, wearing parachutes and kicking in beat. The bottom row contains Jo, Anne Maria, Harold, Max, Xena, and Brick. The first row up contains Topher, Amber Alejandro, Eva, and Noah, the next row up contains Duncan, Gwen, Amy, and Tyler, on top of the pyramid is Lightning holding Ella and Dawn on one of his shoulders each.)

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous! (Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa)

(The plane passes big ben, causing the clock face to pop out. It passes the arc de Triomphe causing a mime to drop his croissant. It flies past a rock balancing on.a stone pillar, knocking it off and causing it to fall in front of the camera kicking up dust)

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous! (Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa)

(The dust clears to show, Ella and Dawn smiling at one another, It pans to show Eva glaring, then down to Jo.)

(The lyrics end and we see Chef Hatchet glare. He turns the plane, sending all the contestants falling through the air in parachutes. Everyone but Max lands in front of a sign with the show's name on it. As the song ends Max lands face first in the middle of the group)

The episode proper begins where the recap left off. With the only exception being that , Geoff, and Kitty were standing to Chris' left, in addition to the final three to his right. "Welcome to the live finale of Total Drama World Tour. Moments ago these two tied for second. "During the break we sent them to vent in the confessional. Check it!"

(confessional)

Jo: This is it. The final showdown. I can't let Brick get in the way. I need to get out of my own head and focus on the game. I have to win this. If I lose to a guy I'll never hear the end of it.

Static

Brick: So, it comes down to this. I don't want to fight Jo but I will not hold back. She deserves nothing less than me at my best.

Static

On the beach Jo looks at Brick. "I appreciate that you respect me enough to give this your all. If I found out you were holding out on me I'd beat you up."

"Holding back would be a disservice to you." The cadet replied.

"Go Team Brick!" A voice shouted, the focus shifted to show the cast in their bleachers. The speaker is revealed to be Sammy, who is holding a flag with Brick's face on it. "You deserve the win!" Sammy cheered.

"But he won't. Cause Jo's willing to fight dirty." Amy smirked at her sister.

Jo frowned. "Why does everyone have flags? And why do so few have mine?!"

"The peanut gallery is playing a major role in choosing a winner." Chris explained.

"Are we voting again? Because I really couldn't choose." Ella frowned.

"I hope we are. Brick would clench it!" Harold said.

"That would be such a boring way for him to win." Topher remarked. "The audience demands satisfaction!"

[Confessional]

Xena: Truly I do not care who ends up in the finale with me. I will take them down and finally gain my winnings. Besides, I am sure if I explain what I intend for the money they would vote in my favor.

Static

"But first, we gotta break a tie!" Chris declared. "Xena, you won the race to Hawaii, so your reward is this advantage. You can select the tiebreaker yourself. Or you can let Jo or Brick do it."

"Choosing the tiebreaker myself seems like the most logical course of action." Xena replied.

"I was hoping you'd say that." Chris chuckled.

Geoff and Kitty pushed a rectangular prism made of glass with a large transparent yellow ball on top of it, on to the beach. Chris walked up to it and continued his introduction. "Each ball inside our challenge booth has a different tiebreaker written on it. So, take your pick."

"Fine." Xena noted entering the challenge booth. The booth shook and small balls began to fall out of the yellow sphere atop. She winced. Despite this her voice remained deadpanned as she asked. "These are golf balls, are they not?"

"What?" Kitty frowned. "But we totally put ping pong balls in there!" Geoff nodded in agreement.

"I know and I'm not mad, just disappointed. I had to dial it up to meet my usual high standards." Chris replied.

Xena caught a golf ball and and opened the door to the booth handing it to Chris.

"Geoff my man, you wanna read it?" The host offered.

The party dude took it from him. "Xena has selected the traditional Hawaiian fire dance of death!"

"The what now?" Brick asked. Jo didn't flinch.

/

Jo and Brick are standing on a wooden platform in the ocean. Both are wearing grass skirts and coconut bras. Jo's is worn over her gray hoodie. Each of them is holding a pole with padding on either end. Xena is tied to a stake at the center of the platform.

"I would like to point out that this is not a Hawaiian tradition." Xena deadpanned.

"What was your first clue? The fact Brick had to wear a coconut bra?" Jo scoffed.

"Topher, Scott, Amy, Duncan, Lightning, and Anne Maria all Laughed at Xena's current situation.

"I fail to see what you are deriving such joviality from." The overlogical girl replied flatly.

"For someone so smart, you sure are dense." Chris joked Chef stood next him with a pink slip with purple flowers at his waist, a flower crown on his head, a quiver of arrows on his back and a bow in his hand.

"First to free Xena wins the last spot in the final two, and a shot at the million." The host said.

"If we leave her there, will Brick and I get to be the finalists?" Jo asked.

"Won't work I already checked. Chef, if you'd do the honors?" Chris said.

Chef shot off two fire arrows into the pits on either side of the platform. "Oh, and stay out of the water," Chris added. "Starting now!" Chef shot two more arrows, these with meat on them, into the water around them. The water teemed with sharks immediately. Jo rolled her eyes.

"We've beaten sharks before. You seriously need to get a new bit McLame!" Jo taunted.

The two met each other in the center of the platform, each pushing against the other as their padded poles clashed. "You're strong Brick, but my determination will win out!"

"Don't count me out so quickly." Brick replied calmly.

"Don't be afraid to fight dirty Jo!" Duncan called out.

"Yeah! Remember kicking, punching, and biting are all valid options!" Amy said.

"Less talk from the peanut gallery!" Jo called, getting pushed back do to her distraction and a good hit from Brick.

"You can do it Brick! Virtue will surely win the day!" Harold declared.

"You got this man!" Trent added.

"I thank you for your support!" Brick called, Jo hit him hard with her padded pole and regained her footing. At this point both were still near the center of the platform.

That was when an arrow on fire hit into the pole setting it on fire. Lightning gasped. "Sha dang, that pole is on fire!"

Concerned for Xena's safety, Brick glanced over at her, giving Jo the perfect opportunity to jam her padded pole between his legs. The cadet fell to his knees. "Who said guys were stronger!" The jockette roared. She slammed the pole into Brick, sending him into the water.

Jo walked over to Xena and began to untie her. "I am pleased to see you did not let your emotions get in the way of beating Brick."

"Shut up. My emotions won't get in the way of beating you either." The jockette warned.

/

Xena and Jo are shown standing on the beach in front of Chris. ""Now that we know who the final two are, it's my pleasure to announce that the peanut gallery will not be voting for the winner." Chris said.

"What?!" Amy yelled from the peanut gallery. "But you said we were gonna play a major role!"

"Yep, just not in a votey kind of way." The host smirked. "Prepare to have your minds blown up by the most lethal challenge in Total Drama history! Xena versus Jo versus the volcano!"

"Back in the day human sacrifices were tossed into Kilauea volcano to appease the gods. Sadly, we're not using real people as sacrifices. So instead, Xena and Jo will have to make sacrifice stand ins using the island's most abundant resources." He pointed to his left and the focus shifted over to a pile of driftwood and a couple interns hastily replacing pineapples with coconuts. "Pineapples and driftwood."

"Pineapples?" Jo questioned.

Chris turned to look. "Interns!" The short female intern with a unibrow and the blonde intern came to his side. "Why have you replaced the pineapples?"

"Noah pointed out that they would cause the volcano to erupt." The female intern told him. "And when it comes to safety I trust him more than you."

The host looked put out. "Okay fine. I guess if the volcano erupted it could burn my face or something."

Chris took a deep breath and regained his hostly grin. "Coconuts and driftwood then. And to make it nice and symbolic, you guys have to make dummies of each other to dump in the volcano." The host continued. "Now, you each get to pick two helpers."

"Xena, if I can offer you my assistance I would be honored." Alejandro said.

"I'd like to help too!" Tyler cheered.

"No! I can guarantee you victory!" Scott called.

"I will take Alejandro and Tyler." Xena said.

"What?! I thought you were logical? Tyler would trip over his own feet!" Scott scowled.

"He may be clumsy, but I know I can trust him. You however have proven you cannot be trusted. For all I know your support is a ploy so you can undermine me at the last second." Xena said.

Alejandro and Tyler ran to the beach as Scott pouted.

"And your picks Jo?" Chris asked.

"Brick and Eva. They're the strongest people here." Jo smirked.

"Lightning disputes that!" The football jock called as Brick and Eva joined the group on the beach.

"If I can't win the million at least I'm in the finale!" Eva cheered.

"I am honored to serve." Brick smiled.

/

Chris, both finalists, and their helpers are now on the beach. A blue gray mat is in front of Xena, and a firey red mat in front of Jo

"Okay we have our helpers. Now Xena and Jo, you have to stay on your mats and direct your helpers to bring you logs, driftwood, and coconuts that resemble parts of your opponent, and to make things a little more rhymey-" A familiar ding went off.

(Final song: Verses)

Alejandro and Tyler are shown in their normal colors briefly before the entire scene shifted to an orange background of flowers, and they became shaded in blue. The same floral background shifts to blue as a godlike Xena popped out of a volcano, all three the same blue shade. Xena nodded. "My allies," She brought out a light blue lightning bolt and hurled it at the boys making them run forward. The background is now purple. "Please advance, that's it, don't leave things to chance!" A pile of giant wood shaded blue dropped in front of Alejandro and Tyler. "Search through that wood, be fleet,"

Xena is shown again with a finger held to her head in thought. "Bring me some convincing feet!"

Next to Xena another volcano emerged, this one red and a godlike Jo erupted out of it. She immediately pulled out her own lightning and began throwing it at Brick and Eva, shaded the same red, who got to work quickly. "Come on guys move it fast, cause I'm not gonna come in last," The two ran past Alejandro who already had a log picked out. "Find me parts to match her limbs, or your future is grim!"

Both finalists are shown throwing lightning bolts as they sang the chorus, ending with them shooting at each other resulting in a purple cloud. "I'm gonna win it (Yeah!), And you can't take it (No!), I'm right here in it (Yeah!), I'm gonna make it! (Oh!)"

Eva is shown gesturing to a thin log shaded red "Are these hips boney enough?"

"Yep!" Jo agreed.

Meanwhile, Tyler was examining their own model. "Is this neck thick enough?" A puff of purple smoke gave him a microphone and he was now standing on a small rock between the two volcanos.

He began to rap, gesturing first to Jo then Xena." Bam! It's emotion vs logic, this fight's gonna be iconic, Still Xena is my friend and so, "Jo takes out a bolt here and hits Tyler off his rock. "I'm hoping that she wins the dough!

Alejando is shown with one foot each on top of two thick arms hanging from rope as Xena sings instructions to them. "That's it, now hurry quick, I need arms muscled and thick." Xena is shown looking at Jo as she sings. "Her shoulders are limber and broad, and she's quite the sod."

Jo glared as she retorted. "Bring me two scrawny knees, and then some arms you better seize." She picks up Brick. "Bring me a giant head, now, victory is dead ahead!" She dropped her and the chorus repeated as they threw lightning bolts at each other again. "I'm gonna win it (Yeah!), And you can't take it (No!), I'm right here in it (Yeah!), I'm gonna make it! (Oh!)"

Eva is shown on some scaffolding next to a giant idol that looked a lot like Xena. "Now it's time to seal the deal" The focus moved back to show both idols were finished except for the head of each. "cause we're gonna win that mil!"

Jo is smirking. "We're nearly done I vow! coconut head me now!" Brick is shown pushing a giant coconut, as the chorus was sang one last time.

Jo and Xena continued to shoot lightning bolts at each other "I'm gonna win it (Yeah!), And you can't take it (No!), I'm right here in it (Yeah!), I'm gonna make it! (Oh!)"

This time when the purple smoke cleared it was to show Brick was still pushing a giant coconut before looking up in shock as Alejandro placed the head on Xena's idol.

The finalist continued their final lines of song. "I'm gonna cash it (Yeah!), You'll never win it (No!), You should trash it (Yeah!)"

The scene faded back to reality as Xena sang the final line, an arm on her finished Idol. "Cause I just finished!"

"And Xena takes the lead!" Chris announced. "Next steps haul your sacrifice to the top of Kilauea and toss them into the volcano." An intern is shown throwing an idol into the volcano. "Be careful, you don't want to be hit by the splashback."

The host turned to the camera to segway to commercial. "We'll be right back with all the hardcore lavariffic sizzling finale action, here on Total Drama World Tour!"

/

We return to the season finale with Xena and Jo both standing on the beach holding their idols. "I assume we will not be receiving any safety equipment to climb this thing."

"Hey, as long as you're careful it's still theoretically safe. It's not like the volcano is due to erupt anytime soon, and we fixed the pineapple problem so we shouldn't set off an eruption." Chris shrugged. " I'm sure it's safe enough."

"That's so comforting." Jo deadpanned.

"To help you get those dummies to the top of the volcano you can use the rewards your team's earned on your behalf in the aftermath lava surfing challenge." A blue baby carriage rolled towards them. "Brick won a baby stroller, too bad he's out. " A wheelbarrow rolled to them. "Xena won a wheelbarrow, and Jo gets nothing."

"Why does my team suck?!" The jockette complained.

"Xena" The host continued. "For winning the effigy building challenge you get a twenty second head start. So, get going."

Xena put her dummy in the wheelbarrow and began to run off. "I need every advantage I can get." She headed up the volcano.

Jo gasped. "Wait Brick's on my team, shouldn't I be able to use his carriage?"

"I suppose I could allow it." Chris smirked.

Jo put her dummy in the baby carriage which collapsed immediately. Chris chuckled as she glared and headed to the volcano.

/

Further up the volcano Xena is doing her best to get a lead, but a combination of her dummy being heavier and her poor strength, Jo easily began to catch up. "I am not losing again Xena! Not after how hard I've worked to get where I am!"

Xena continued to push as she talked. "I have also worked hard, and I am sure I have a better reason. Tell me Jo? Have you even considered what to spend the money on? I have. I am going to save lives with this money Jo. Hundreds, possibly thousands. Can you say as much."

Jo groaned. "Please shut up. I might have hurt a lot of people to get here, but at least I'm honest about it! I'm not pretending it's all been for some noble cause!"

"I suppose I cannot expect someone as emotional as you to understand." Xena said .

Jo ran ahead. She had to skid to a stop as there was a river of lava with stepping stones ahead of them. "What the f*ck Chris?!"

Xena caught up. "I knew there would be something else. Chris is never this lenient with challenges." She deadpanned.

"The only way to the top of the volcano is past this river of lava. That wheelbarrow probably won't be too helpful. "Chris said.

"There goes my advantage." Xena sighed.

"All you have to do is hop across these stepping stones. Easy peasy hot and cheesy." Chris explained. He pointed above them. Above the stepping stones were several objects. A log, a grand piano, a safe, a heavy weight, an armchair, a cage, and what looked like a warhead? "but we've rigged a few booby traps to, that's right-"

"Make things interesting," The two finalists said.

"Seriously Chris, you do know that your contract does not make you impervious to lawsuits?" Xena asked.

"When I get hold of him, a lawsuit is the least he'll have to worry about!" Jo snapped.

Xena picked up her idol and slowly began to jump across the stepping stones. Jo very quickly gained a lead as she was both fast and reckless.

Xena didn't hesitate. "Slash at will gentlemen."

The duo now had machetes in their hands. Brick and Eva's faces hardened.

"Don't just stand there, fight them off so we can take the advantage!" Jo ordered.

Brick and Eva now had their own machete's which they held up to block their rivals. Brick held off Alejandro, while Eva easily held back Tyler.

"Now Brick, are you certain you wish to wield a weapon against me? I understand you're not the confrontational type." The Spaniard smirked at Brick.

"If it is to protect others I will not even hesitate." The cadet replied.

Alejandro kicked Brick in the shin causing him to fall over. "A pity, if you were less noble you might have expected that." Then he slashed one of the ropes.

The armchair nearly crushed Xena. "Do not attack me!" The overlogical girl said.

"Which ropes are connected to Jo's obstacles?" Alejandro asked.

"Chef?" Chris asked, gesturing to him. The cook shrugged. "Nice."

The two finalists continued to jump across the stepping stones. The heavy weight nearly hit Jo. "In case you morons hadn't noticed I'm standing right here!"

"Sorry, we don't know which traps go to what!" Eva said.

Jo rolled her eyes. "Whatever. I can handle it." She said as she continued. '

The armchair fell next, nearly hitting Xena. "Alejandro, Tyler, hold them off until I've finished crossing."

Obviously Alejandro had no trouble holding off Brick who wasn't even trying anymore. Tyler on the other hand was quickly pushed over by Eva. His machete fell from his hands, slicing another rope. This time the cage fell on Jo.

"Excellent work." Xena said, hopping the rest of the way across the rocks. She turned to Jo. "Know that I take no joy in beating you." She said, With that she started running up the volcano off screen.

Jo began to ram against the side of the cage. "No! This isn't where I lose! Not when Victory is so close!"

"You can do it Jo. You're brave, strong, determined. The most amazing woman I've had the honor to meet. You've been through so much worse than this. All you need to do is channel that determination into strength!" Brick told her.

Jo nodded and slammed one final time, knocking the cage over. "I'm not out yet." She said, she looked over in surprise as Brick ran up the volcano alongside her. "Brick?"

"Chris never limited how much we can help. If you'll have me, I'd like to finish this out with you." Brick said.

Jo smirked. "Fine, but you'd better keep up!"

The two quickly caught up to an exhausted Xena, and as they continued Jo kicked down at Xena, knocking her down.

/

At the top of the volcano all of the contestants are standing. The only exception being Brick. They're all sweaty and many are panting. Chris is shown holding the million, not looking sweaty at all. The focus pulls back to show Chris and Chef are surrounded by ice, and somehow there is a fan blowing cool air at them. "So," The host began. "You know of any season three wrap parties?" Chef rolled his eyes in response then walks away. Chris gave him an unamused look, but he brightened when he sees a contestant. "Here they come!"

Brick jumped on to the lip of the volcano, Jo at his side. "You looking for this?" Chris smirked as he held up the suitcase.

Jo hesitated. "So, guess that's it huh?" she said. "I'm gonna win the million, and then we'll never see each other again."

"No." Brick said, got down on one knee, and grabbed her hand. "No. I would never let that be the end of this."

Jo was frozen and flushed. "Brick, can we do this later? I have a game to win."

"Not yet. Once You've won, you might run from me again. Here and now, on this volcano, you have to stay for the sake of the show. Which means this could be the only chance I get to have you listen to me." Brick explained. "Please just listen."

Jo looked towards the mouth of the volcano then sighed. "Whatever, just say your stupid piece. Make it quick."

"I've been trying to tell you for a while that I like you romantically. I think you're scared of being vulnerable and I want to tell you there's no need. Because if you do feel that way, I promise to help you resolve it. You're strong Jo. You don't need to prove anything to anyone." Brick said.

Jo sighed. "I've always viewed love as a weakness. I've even called people out for it before." She glanced over at Amber, who was currently being held by Alejandro. "But if I can make it this far, even with some setbacks, maybe love isn't the weakness I thought it was. And if it is, I'm strong enough to make up for it."

Brick leaned forward and kissed her. It didn't get to go on for long though.

"Hello?! There's a challenge! In the time you've had your confession Xena's caught up." Chris said.

The two pulled apart and the focus showed that Xena had indeed made it to the top. She ran for the hole in the volcano's top.

Jo picked up her idol and swung it around then threw it. It landed directly in the hole just slightly before Xena pushed hers in.

"And that's a cool mil for Jo!" Chris declared. "The winner of Total Drama World Tour!" Chris held up the suitcase and Jo opened it.

The jockette smirked. "I did it! I finally won!"

"Yes you did." Brick smiled, his face quickly turning to shock as Jo kissed him again.

"Yeah! If someone besides Brick or me had to win. You're not a bad choice." Eva nodded.

Chris interrupted. "We only have permission to be on the volcano for an hour. So meet me back on the beach to wrap things up!"

/

Everyone was now gathered on the beach as the two finalists looked at each other. "It was a well fought victory Jo. Know that I hold no ill will to you, even if I am deeply disappointed. Tell me, do you know what you intend the money?"

"Not really. I mean I guess I could give fifty thousand each to Brick and Eva." Jo said reaching in a handing them the money.

"You don't have to share it." Brick said.

"Then can I have your fifty thousand?" Eva joked.

"Do you want it?" The cadet asked.

"Nah, you use it." The iron woman said. "There must be something you want to do."

To be honest…I've always wanted to go to fashion school." Brick admitted. "Not as like my main career, just a side one."

"As for the rest." Jo said. "I'll figure it out when I figure it out. This whole thing was more about proving myself than the money anyway."

"Fair enough." Xena said. "Though I hope it goes to something helpful." she said, walking off. Tyler followed her and the focus moved alongside them until Xena sat on the edge of the beach.

"You okay?" Tyler asked.

"I am…alright. I simply cannot pursue my career of choice anymore." Xena told him.

"What did you want to go into? You said something to Brick about saving people?" Tyler asked.

Xena nodded. "When I was younger I tried to think of what would logically be the best way that I could help humanity. Eventually I concluded with my logical mind, control over my emotions, and steady hands I would be adept at surgery. Over time I managed to narrow it down to becoming a neurosurgeon. The only problem I could see was that it takes a lot of time and a lot of money to become one. I had hoped to use the money I won here to achieve that."

She sighed. "It was why I signed up for Total Drama in the first place. My plans with the initial money were to invest it so I would have enough by the time I needed it. Why do you think I went on so many shows with you? When I qualified for World Tour, I saw a chance to get all the money I would need at once. So I determined I would win at all cost. After all, what is ruining the chances of winning for a few if I can save far more people?"

Tyler looked confused. "Xena, can't you just get a student loan?"

"Negatory. Going into debt for the sake of a career I may not even be hired for is not logical." Xena said.

Tyler smiled at her. "Sometimes it's okay to take a chance. You'd be getting a job that must earn a lot of money. You could definitely pay it off. Haven't you ever heard of a calculated risk?"

Xena looked like she was pondering Tyler's words.

The focus shifted back to Chris. As he stood with all of the other contestants surrounding him. Jo is kissing Brick again. "From all of us, thank you for watching. It's been a wild ride and we wouldn't have it without you. I have been your host, Chris McLean and this has been Total Drama World Tour!"

The focus zoomed out to show a beautiful sunset as everyone began to talk among themselves. A happy sigh from Chris is heard before the shot fades to black. The final words heard were: "I really love this show."

A/N: So Jo's ending. I'd like to point out the changes. First off, in this version of events Brick loses to Jo because Xena being in danger distracted him. Whereas in the canon ending it gives Brick the strength to defeat her.

The theming this time is emotion vs logic. Jo's been very emotion driven throughout the entire season. Xena is, as ever, logic driven. Xena had a plan for the money, whereas Jo just wants to win it. This theming, while different from canon, has a similar vibe. Hence the colors being the same, and Jo's rendition of the song sounding a lot more like Heathers. Xena's lyrics are mostly the same except for one line where she calls Jo a sod. This is because Xena doesn't care for her.

This is why the conversation up the mountain was different. Xena's not going to try and reason with Jo like with Brick. She's just going to judge her for not having a plan for the money. Meanwhile Jo thinks he's a hypocrite. Which she kind of is.

Then on the mountain Alejandro fights Brick instead of Jo. So rather than goading her on, he takes the tactic of implying that Brick shouldn't want to fight him because its not in his nature. And Of course Brick gives Jo a pep talk rather than the other way around.

At the top Brick gives a similar confession, but since Jo won this time there's a slightly different reaction from her. For one thing Brick has to plead for her to stop and listen. Whereas in canon Brick is the one who has to complete the challenge, so he can stop it himself. And of course Jo won despite being in love with Brick, so she has even more reason to realize that it might not be a weakness. That's what the glance at Amber was about by the way. She's always judged Amber for her crush.

Finally if this had become the canon thing. The ending split would be whether Jo throws the dummy in to win, or overshoots it and hurls it off the volcano. With the latter resulting in Xena's ending.

So, I'll see you at the epilogue if you want to read it.
