A new secret admirer?

After stopping his former campmate Gill from turning his cheer team into mutant freaks, Ron can't help but feel a chip on his shoulder after receiving praise and admiration from the cheerleaders. Even Bonnie showed some appreciation for his actions, and Tara gave him a peck on the cheek. However, while Kim gives her partner some praise, she quickly shoots down the idea of Ron wanting to call the shots sometimes on missions, even though he somewhat proves tactical in his approach to stopping Gill. His best friend's comment wouldn't have gotten to him without her turning down the chance to celebrate off for an event with Josh Monkey, correction Mankey.

Ron sighed as his pet companion popped on his shoulder to console him. "I guess it's me and you buddy, as far as celebrating our victory goes."

"Naco." Rufus chimes his opinion on how to celebrate.

Ron chuckles, having the same idea in mind. "Well, you know what they say, great minds think alike. Plus, it will help pick my mood back up a bit."

Quickly, they arrive at the destination as Ned greets the two, entering their usual spot, Bueno Nacho, who is ready to take their order. Once the order is complete, Ron prepares to pay, but Ned shakes his not accepting.

"Is there something wrong?" Ron asks in confusion, assuming he didn't have enough to cover the cost.

"Nope, I met to inform you that someone paid for your meal," Ned assures him, causing Ron even more confusion upon hearing that somebody went out of their way to pay for his food.

"Wait, for real? Who?" Ron questioned, feeling excitement rising within him.

Ned shrugs since the person doesn't reveal his name, even if he wants to help his favorite customer. "The person told me that if you were to ask that, you should respond by saying you are your secret admirer."

"Secret admirer?" Ron's mouth nearly drops upon hearing the revelation. As far as guesses, he figured it was Kim since she didn't come, but the idea of someone being attracted to him instantly erased his original theory.

"Also, she left this note for you to read. Enjoy the meal." Ned passes Ron the letter from this mystery person, and he instantly sits down to read what it says while Rufus begins to eat his food, ready to listen.

Dear Ron, I can imagine your face when you receive this letter, which could be the same as mine when you took down that freak that tried to kidnap us. That day, we saw a different side of you outside of what we are used to seeing, and it honestly was hot, and it made me crush hard on you. Not wanting to miss my chance with you, I want us to meet in private to discuss this more, so if you accept my invitation, meet me outside the gym after cheer practice. I hope to see you there, and please keep this a secret between us. Love your secret admirer.

After reading the letter, Ron becomes even more speechless, not expecting his recent actions to get one of the cheerleaders' attention. He begins to wonder who the mystery person could be, but the only one he thinks can be one is Tara, only because she kissed him on the cheek. "I don't know, Rufus, this could be Tara. After what she did, I wouldn't think she the type to want to be secret about this, though then again, it might have something to do with Bonnie's food chain rules about guys like me not being about to date the hotties at school."

Suddenly, a crazy theory pops into his head. "Wait, what if it's Bonnie? I mean, this would be something that she would do. Let her feelings be known quietly without anyone else knowing about them."

Rufus sticks his tongue out in a disgusting matter, getting a soft laugh out of Ron. "I know it would be shocking, yet it is still an option. It sucks I can't tell Kp about this since she talks to girls daily, so she might know who it is. Yet, at the same time, there's no telling how she will react to this news, so I'd rather not say anything to her right now out of respect for whoever this is. I'm sure Monkey Boy will hog her attention for now."

Ron finishes up and makes his way home, excited over who has a crush on him tomorrow. A small part of him thinks it could be a prank, but why make a nice gesture only to embarrass him afterward unless this is Bonnie's way of trying to downplay his heroic moment at camp name that won't be repeated? Ron sighed as he rested when he got home, having that possibility in the back of his mind as he readied himself for the next day.

*Insert theme song*

Ooohh yeahh yeah

I'm your basic average guy, and I'm here to help save the world

You could stop me

Cause I'm Ron Stop-pa-ble

There are some things I can't do

But when danger calls

Just know that I am on my way

It doesn't matter where or

When there's trouble

If ya just call my name

Ron Stoppable

Call Kim, beep Kim if ya

Wanna reach Kim

But if ya wanna page me, it's okay

Whenever you need me, baby

Call me, beep me if ya

wanna reach me

Call me, beep me if you

wanna reach me

It doesn't matter where doesn't matter when (unless I'm in Bueno nacho). I will be there for ya till the very end

Danger or trouble I'm there on the double You know that you always can call Ron Stop-pa-ble

Ron Stoppable: Never be normal

Call me, beep me if ya

wanna reach me

*The next day*

The following day officially arises for Ron Stopabble as he instantly wakes up when his alarm goes off and prepares for the day. Ron's idea of the secret meeting flows through as he decides to walk to school alone instead of stopping by the Possible's residence to walk with Kim. Of course, when he makes it to the school and his locker, the person he tries to avoid calls out to him.

"Ron?" Ron mentally groans at the sound of his best friend's voice. He is not upset with her but still annoyed that she ditched him. He hopes not to have to explain his reasons for not meeting with her this morning.

"Kp! How did the day go with Josh." Ron greets her, thinking it will throw her off his trail.

"It went well, but I am more concern about you this morning since you didn't come by so we could walk to school like we normally do," Kim questions him in a concerned tone.

Dang, that didn't work. At least she showed that she cares like Kim, whom I know. Alright, Ronman, it's time to come up with a reasonable explanation. "Oh my bad, KP. My mind was a bit distracted this morning, so I wanted to walk alone to try and clear my thoughts."

"That's not normal for you, so what's the sitch?" Kim raises an eyebrow and folds her arms.

Why am I not surprised that she's going to push for answers? "Um, just about the whole camp situation, how I don't want something like that happening to you or people I care about, so I think I should step in a way," Ron explains sincerely. While it isn't the direct truth, Ron has been considering taking some things seriously, like on missions, but initially hasn't found the motivation since Kim usually leads the way.

Fortunately for him, Ron's response catches Kim off guard, meaning his plan works. She comforts Ron by hugging him and saying, "Wow, Ron, that's pretty mature of you to think that way. I'm sure we can come up with ways to help with that, and I have something in mind, but we can talk about that later. We better get to class right now so we won't be late."

Ron hugs Kim back, enjoying her hugs as usual, but he notices she glances at his hair weirdly yet doesn't question it. "Sounds like a good idea, KP; I'd rather not get detention again."

The two head to class afterward, where, throughout the day, Ron attempts to glance at the cheerleaders to see if he can guess who is the one he is supposed to meet later. Still, none stood out differently than the regular interactions, especially with Bonnie messing with him. Once cheer practice rolls around, Ron acts like his typical self to avoid suspicion but somewhat tones down the Roniess to prove his point with Kim, which doesn't go unnoticed by the team.

Once everyone has taken the showers and is starting to leave, Ron checks with Kim to see if Wade mentions any missions. To his luck, Wade comes up with an excuse: He will head home early because he's tired. Kim accepts this and heads home while Ron lingers so he can attend his pending meeting.

"Alright, this is it. It's finally time to meet the secret admirer. I think I did a good show throwing Kim off my trail, and I'm sure no one else would have any idea of this meetup, but I also better keep my guard up in case Bonnie does a prank on me. It will suck if that's the case, yet it wouldn't be the worst she can do to me." Ron mentally hypes himself up when he hears footsteps behind him approaching.

He turns around, and Ron's mouth quickly hits the floor upon seeing who is standing before him. "I'm glad you accepted my proposal, Ron." The cheerleader expresses with a sexy smile. Ron's mind goes into overdrive with reactions and questions, but the word that stands out most is Marcella.

Author notes: Back with a new Ron story for the KP fanfic community. One of the inspirations for this idea is that while I was nominated for the KP awards this past year, I didn't win any of them. I get it because I haven't been consistent, so I'm hoping this year I will be writing more despite the somewhat new busy schedule I have going on. The second part is, as most know, I like to write pairings that I like and pairings that haven't been done much, so when it came to Ron, I was wondering what would be a new love interest for me to write for him. This leads to me shouting out to user luckyguy07 on DeviantArt, a fan of mine, for starting the idea of Ron x Marcella, so go to his page to see his reason behind the pair.

What works with me with Marcella is that she's one of the show's characters that doesn't have a lot of dialogue, so I can play around and give more life to her character. I'm not sure how long this story will be, but ideally, as you can tell, it will take place around early season one of the show, therefore, will be AU. If you have any input, feel free to write them in a review, for it will help push this piece along nicely.
