A/N: So I had to repost this chapter as some parts were accidental spoilers. I am still using the DC Elseworlds universe but here's the puzzle: the superheroes aren't living on Earth but still fight crime randomly.

"You the guy?" Dinah asked skeptically.

"Were you expecting Geto?" Gojo Satoru laughed which made Dinah annoyed.

"I was told by some kid about you…not what I was expecting. Never met a blind man before".

"Oh…I'm not blind, this way." He waved as he walked ahead, and Dinah followed in shock and anger.

"You ain't blind?! Then what's the point of that stupid-ass blindfold?"

"Oh well, if I take it off, you'll be all over me".

Dinah attempted to punch him in the face but he caught her incoming fist inches before his cheek. "You have spunk, pretty cute".

She was tempted to use her canary aura to fracture his hand but decided to retract it and walk on. Then she started wondering something. "Why are you doing this for me?"

"Can't I help a fine young foreigner get by in this country island?"

Dinah groaned out loud, a sign that he would soon regret teasing. Gojo sighed, "Okay, my students have only been taught about Japanese curses. Not only that, but you made me realize that was just the tip of the iceberg about your vigilante work. I needed to find someone perfect for opening my students' eyes to the meta-human stuff overseas," Gojo explained nonchalantly, his hands behind his head.

"You want me to be a teacher? Not my thing", Dinah scowled.

"Too bad you still have to do it. Telling me you can't won't get you out of it", Gojo replied.

"Then WHO do I have to tell to get out of it?"

"Don't waste your time running away. Are you scared already?"

Dinah moved in front of him with a look of someone offended, "I am not scared of shit! I just came to this country for…different reasons".

"I hope 'singing' wasn't one of them", Gojo said and Dinah's look of surprise confirmed something. "I knew you came here for something! Being a spoiled popstar was just a cover". Gojo smiled proudly and Dinah kept walking with him.

"Were you at the concert during the attack?"

Yesterday at the concert

Dinah Lance was on her way to her trailer after her performance. "I wasn't expecting a lot of people, my executives are probably swimming in money right now".

"Shall we prepare you for the final number?" Her makeup artist asked.

"I wanna say 'no' because I wasn't told if I needed to change for this one…", Dinah heard a strange sound coming from the tour bus. It sounded like how someone eats sushi, except that sounded like the foodie wanted the whole crew to hear it. Impossible to announce that chewing noise and pointless. Dinah wasn't the nosy type but unusual noises needed to be investigated. "Hey Misty…that noise…"

"Noise?" She questioned.

"You hear someone eating food in max volume?"

"Uh no? I don't even think that is possible unless recorded in camera and played on speakers".

Misty hears nothing? Weird. It sounds like only I can hear it…as if I'm right next to it.

Walking to the trailer, she knocked, but no one answered. The sound was so loud that she knew someone—anyone—had to be inside. She kicked the door open to discover someone she thought only existed in horror movies.

The manager was moving his mouth, voice lost by a horrific monster eating out his legs. The monster noticed her and grinned with her manager's blood dripping out its mouth. It charged at her and she knew she was in a difficult position as she tried dodging it and closed the trailer door. She couldn't let this man-eating creature escape so she tried kicking and punching. Then as she managed to hit it, she felt a shock at how familiar this creature was…

From her childhood, a memory that she had been suppressing her whole life. She'd rather not dwell on it, but the creature shot up, breaking through the trailer roof with her. She needed to destroy this thing but it was only possible if she had super strength.

There was one other option. It was risky, but she had no choice. Drawing in her breath, she was about to use her canary cry when some individuals appeared out of nowhere. One used a sword to slice off its arm, freeing Dinah. Then others were chanting something in Japanese, almost like a spell.

The monster was eventually defeated and Dinah stood up, wondering if this was a typical superhero activity or a horror movie scene with a happy ending.

"Lady, you okay?" One of the individuals spoke in almost fluent English as he helped her up. Then he started looking at her in shock when his hand touched hers.

"What's that face for?" Dinah asked in confusion. The boy signaled her to stay put and then ran to tell his…(co-workers?) something and as they all turned to her they seemed to have decided.

One of them pulled out his phone to contact someone else. The female one walked to her and eyed her as if she was trying to understand something about the American.

"Saya", she said pointing at herself. "You must be reported, a teacher of mine will be waiting for you outside the barrier".

"Reported? Barrier? What the hell is going on?" Dinah shouted in confusion, shock, and slight annoyance. She went out of the backstage area to find a purple-ish dome concealing the entire concert area. As she noticed it opening up, she had so many questions and immediately regretted coming to Japan.

As she saw her manager in a strap bed, she ran to him with worry. "Mitch! Is he going to be okay?!"

Paramedics ignored her and placed Mitch inside the van after they immediately took off.

"Dinah! Are you okay?" Misty ran to the singer, panting. "Everyone was forced to evacuate but the men refused to tell us why. When I noticed you weren't with us I tried everything I could to come get you but—"

"Even if you came sooner, you wouldn't have been much help against the monster".

Misty frowned, "Monster?"

Dinah was the only 'normal' person (besides Mitch) who saw the monster. Dinah couldn't understand how the sorcerers managed to move everyone out of the concert venue AND form some barrier.

As frustrating as it was to be the only one to be informed of cursed beings like the monster that attacked her, she also couldn't risk the lives of the backstage crew.

Not only that but somehow, the whole crew had ditched her, and one of those 'sorcerers' emailed her to meet someone. A trap? High possibility. Did she have a choice? No.

Now

"You guys managed to convince everyone who works for my record label to ditch me?!" Dinah yelled in anger. "Where the fuck am I supposed to stay?"

"You can stay at Jujutsu High. There's already a room available".

As the two walked in, Dinah noticed some people in similar outfits to Gojo (minus the blindfold). They turned to look at her as if they had never seen a black woman with blonde hair before. Dinah was already used to that kind of staring, and it was still rude and offensive. She just rolled her eyes.

As they walked into a temple, a man was waiting for them in a sitting position. "Hello, my name is Yaga Masamichi Never thought I'd see her kind in my lifetime", He said as he studied the woman.

"Excuse me? What is that supposed to mean you punk!" Dinah snapped.

"I wasn't talking about that. I was referring to your…abilities," he explained. "Not only can you see curses who excel in concealing themselves from regular foreigners, but you are a supernatural Western being."

Dinah scoffed, in an attempt to hide her shock, "What are you talking about? That's crazy—"

"Don't bother hiding it. We can all see that you are NOT human".

Dinah avoided the eye contact. "All of you, so…"

"You're a rare case, a kind of inhuman being that can take down a curse", Gojo explained, "And one of the students saw you battling the curse".

"So what? This means you want me to be a teacher of this magic school?" She snapped.

"Not yet, we want to be certain that we know your capabilities", Yaga answered.

"Hell…no…", Dinah growled.

"Okay then…let me try to convince you another way", Gojo interjected. "Curses are going to come after you with your phoenix essence and we're the only ones who can keep them away from you, that better?"

Dinah's eyes changed into a lighter color as she processed what the white-haired man just said. She would have said that she can take care of herself. She had faced worse threats but truthfully, this was a brand new territory.

"…fine…", she answered in defeat. Gojo placed his arm around the woman and seemed happy. Dinah was not sure why.

"Cheer up!" Gojo laughed as he escorted her (arm still resting on her shoulders) "You get to see some exciting action, like fighting curses".

Dinah moved his arm off her, "I want to know something".

Gojo sat down on a chair, "Shoot".

"Why me?"

"You were just told why—"

"No, I'm asking why me specifically? There are so many other meta-humans in the USA who'd be strong enough to whoop their asses. I don't have super strength", Dinah asked. That should be a good question, and she would feel a bit satisfied to see him stammering. Only a tiny bit.

Instead, the second Dinah finished asking her question, Gojo already knew the answer. "Because pretty birds like you are perfect for the job".

Dinah made the face of someone infuriated, Gojo just stood up and walked ahead, "Follow me, and we'll get you set up for your very first mission".
