The Mikaelson compound was unusually tense, its grand halls buzzing with whispers of fear and outrage. The carnage Alexis had unleashed still lingered in the air, a grim reminder of how easily their sanctuary could be breached. Klaus stood at the head of the meeting table, his jaw tight as his eyes scanned the room. Hayley was by his side, her arms crossed, masking her rage with a calm exterior. Across the table sat Freya, Elijah, Marcel, and the rest of their reluctant allies : Davina, Vincent, Jackson, and Rebekah( as Eva), who looked more anxious than usual.

Davina broke the heavy silence. "According to Marcel, you guys need a plan to protect the vulnerable among us." she said gesturing toward Rebekah

"You mean Eva," Klaus said coldly, leaning against the chair with calculated menace. "You're saying it without saying it, little witch."

Freya interjected before the tension boiled over. "It's not just Eva. Hayley and Hope are vulnerable too. Nemeria knows too much about us already. We need to act before she returns."

"Which is why we're here," Davina said, standing her ground despite Klaus's glare. "Vincent and I have been working on a cloaking spell. If we combine our magic with Freya's, we can hide Hayley, Hope, and Eva completely. Their presence will be masked-undetectable to anyone, even Nemeria."

"And what of Eva's pregnancy? They can track it with the father's blood? " Elijah asked, his voice as steady and refined as ever. "The child is the key to unraveling the curse that protects Nemeria and Alexis. Even cloaked, Eva would remain a target. Nemeria will surely not rest unless she find her"

"That's why I suggest we go one step further," Davina said, glancing at Freya. "We swap Rebekah's soul into a different, stronger body. One that isn't tied to Sergio's bloodline. I heard that's how the gemini coven does to hide the pregnancy of their next leader set of twins. It'll hide the pregnancy and make it impossible for Nemeria to use the baby against us."

Rebekah's eyes widened. "You want to put me into someone else's body? Haven't I suffered enough?"

"It's temporary," Freya reassured her. "We'll reverse the spell as soon as Nemeria is dealt with."

Hayley crossed her arms. "And how exactly do you plan to keep Hope and me hidden? You can't just swap our souls too. Hope is too small"

Davina smirked. "Actually, that's exactly what I'm suggesting. For you and Hope, it's about cloaking your presence. For Rebekah, it's about protecting the baby by removing her from harm's way. With Freya's power and Vincent's help, the spell will work on all of you."

Klaus slammed his hand on the table, silencing the room. "If this goes wrong-if there is even the slightest chance of failure-you'll answer to me, Davina."

"It won't go wrong," Davina replied, her voice confident but tinged with irritation.

Freya nodded. "We'll begin the ritual immediately."

The Ritual Gone Wrong

The Mikaelson courtyard was transformed into a makeshift ritual space. Candles burned in precise patterns, ancient symbols marked the ground, and the air hummed with magic. Freya stood at the center, directing Davina and Vincent as they prepared to cast the spell. The family gathered around, each looking uneasy but resolute.

Rebekah sighed, placing a hand on her stomach. "This better work."

"It will," Davina said, her tone firm. "Just trust me."

Freya began chanting in an ancient language, her voice rising as the candles flickered wildly. Davina and Vincent joined in, their combined power creating a visible swirl of energy around the courtyard. The spell grew louder, the air thicker, and then-

A burst of light exploded outward, blinding everyone.

When the glow faded, silence fell.

Rebekah was the first to speak, her voice shaking. "What... what just happened?"

But it wasn't her voice. It was Marcel's.

Rebekah turned to the others, her eyes wide. She wasn't in her own body. She was staring at herself-her body-standing across the courtyard with Marcel's confused expression.

"What the hell?" Klaus's voice rang out, but it came from Hayley's body.

"Why am I...?" Hayley's voice started, but it was coming from Klaus's body.

Freya gasped, looking at everyone. "This isn't right."

Elijah, now in Jackson's body, touched his face, his calm composure finally cracking. "This is... problematic."

Jackson, trapped in Marcel's body, looked ready to panic. "I'm in Marcel? How does this even happen? I wasn't part of the damn spell why am I someone else Davina ? I tought this could not went wrong ?!"

Davina's face paled as she realized what had gone wrong. "The spell... I must've miscast it or something divert it. Instead of cloaking or swapping Rebekah's soul, we... swapped all of you."

"All of us?!" Klaus shouted, his voice coming from Hayley's lips.

Davina's voice hung open and confused " Oh my God, who has not been swapped ? Then ?"

Vincent, now standing in Rebekah's body, groaned. "This is a disaster. From what I can tell only You Davina, Freya and Baby Hope "

And all of them groaned loudly at the same time.

Davina added:" I'm sorry, I will fix it, It's my new power as regent, I think it's acting out sometimes "

Freya cut Davina " Dont worry, I will help you, we will find a way. For now all of you should act as normal as possible in the person you are in. Nemeria can compelled Human to spy on us from miles away without us knowing. So be careful " she nodded to her brother than quickly said to Vincent " stay here, for now you are supposed to be pregnant while trap in this body however the good part is that you are a witch so you can help us to find the correct spell"

The Morning After: Adapting to New Lives

Klaus (in Hayley's body) stormed into the dining room, his movements awkward and stiff. "This is intolerable!" he barked, slamming a hand on the table. "I am not accustomed to this... fragility."

Hayley (in Klaus's body) smirked, leaning back in her chair. "Welcome to being a female hybrid. Looks like you can't just charm your way through everything anymore."

Marcel (in Elijah's body) sipped a glass of bourbon, trying to look composed. "I don't know how you deal with all this brooding. It's exhausting."

Elijah (in Jackson's body) raised an eyebrow. "Perhaps if you approached life with more discipline, you'd find it less tiresome."

Jackson (in Marcel's body) muttered under his breath, "How am I supposed to lead my pack when I don't even look like myself?"

Rebekah, still in Marcel's body, stood in the corner, her arms crossed. "We don't have time for your bickering. Nemeria will be here by noon."

Freya entered, her expression grim. "I've been working with Davina and Vincent all morning. We might have a solution, but it'll take time."

"Time we don't have," Klaus growled.

Hayley leaned forward, her hybrid features flashing across Klaus's face. "Let's make one thing clear: until this is fixed, I'm in charge of this body. Don't you dare ruin it."

Klaus glared at her but said nothing, knowing she had a point.

Freya sighed. "Until we reverse the spell, no one else can know about this. If Nemeria finds out, it'll be chaos."

Marcel nodded. "Agreed. We need to stay calm and stick to the plan."

The Countdown to Noon

As the family scrambled to adapt to their new bodies, the clock ticked closer to Nemeria's arrival. Each of them wrestled with the challenges of their temporary forms, learning what it meant to walk in someone else's shoes-literally.

Klaus, in Hayley's body, felt the weight of motherhood and responsibility for Hope in a way he never had before. Hayley, in Klaus's body, grappled with the darkness that constantly threatened to consume him.

Elijah, in Jackson's body, began to understand the loyalty and burdens of leading a pack, while Jackson, in Marcel's body, saw the complexities of navigating vampire politics.

And Rebekah, as Marcel, realized the sacrifices her former lover had made to protect them all.

But as noon approached, they knew one thing for certain: if they didn't reverse the spell in time, their fractured family would face Nemeria divided-and vulnerable.
