Addie was nervous. What if they tested her during dinner and caught her? Would Roman go against his family to save her?
"Good morning", his voice brought her back.
He set his bag on his desk before looking around and his eyes found her.
"Morning", everyone replied.
"Did you get the text from Addie?", Brie asked Carmella and Bayley.
They nodded.
"What are we going to do? If they test her, she won't be able to get out of there.", Carmella said.
"Can we die?", Bayley suddenly asked.
"Bay", Carmella gasped.
"I mean, think about it. We are cursed, we don't die", Bayley said.
"That's true, but if someone tries to kill us, then will we?", Nikki seconded.
"No one has ever tried. We get away from the witch hunters before they come anywhere near us", Bayley said.
Carmella and Brie looked at each other.
"I don't want to test it. Not with my only kid", Brie said.
"Agreed", Nikki nodded.
"So we leave? That would look more suspicious", Carmella said.
Brie sighed and Nikki wrapped an arm around her.
"Maybe Alexa would know. She's been around just as long with the same curse", Bayley said.
"Call her", Nikki said.
Once class ended, Addie took her time putting her stuff away. Once the last student left, he walked towards her.
"I didn't know he was going to do that. You don't have to come over if you don't want too. I will make something up", Roman quickly said.
"Wouldn't that look weird? I don't want to raise flags with them", Addie said.
Roman sighed.
"If they did test me during dinner, would you help me if they caught me?", she asked.
"Of course", he replied quickly.
She smiled. In her heart she knew he would and she shouldn't have lost faith in that.
"Besides that, we lied to them and said we tested all of our neighbors. You ladies are in the clear", he said.
She nodded and relaxed. He leaned down and kissed her.
"I can't wait for them to leave", he whispered.
She giggled.
"We will be too busy trying to break this curse. Which reminds me, the book?", she said.
"My dad has it right now. If I move it, he will notice", he replied.
She nodded.
"I don't have a next class right now, keep me company?", he asked.
"And what will we do?", she asked, wrapping her arms around his neck.
He smirked.
"Let me lock my door", he whispered.
Hunter was looking through Ric's stuff. Randy had just come back from the gym.
"The guys home yet?", Randy asked.
"In a few hours", Hunter replied.
"So since we caught the warlock, does this mean they come home and start a new hunt?", Randy asked, while grabbing a glass for water.
"That's why I want to stay a few extra days. Check everything out and make sure there are no more around. The boys can come home, rest, and then start a new hunt", Hunter replied.
Randy nodded.
"Why do you ask?", he asked.
"Roman found a girl here. She lives across the street. Pretty little thing.", Randy replied.
Hunter sighed and rubbed his eyes.
"I told you boys, no women while on hunts", Hunter said.
"Come on man, like you didn't have urges. Well this urge led him to someone he actually likes", Randy said.
Hunter sighed.
"He said they tested them, and passed with flying colors. You know he would have handled that if she didn't.", Randy said.
Hunter nodded.
"I invited her over for dinner so we can all get to know her. Maybe down the line she can join the hunts. You always wanted another woman to join this family, so did Steph", Randy added.
"So best behavior then, is what you're saying", Hunter chuckled.
"Exactly. I can tell Roman really likes her", Randy said.
Hunter nodded.
"Will do", he sighed.
Roman was kissing down her body.
"Am I the best version of me?", he asked.
She giggled as she tried to catch her breath.
"I've loved all versions of you", she replied.
He kissed her.
"Still coming over for dinner?", he asked.
"As much as it scares me, yes, because I know you will have my back and get me out of there", she said.
"We always find each other, so even if you left, I wouldn't be worried", he said.
She gently touched his cheek. His alarm went off. Five minutes till his next class.
He groaned and turned it off. She giggled and got dressed.
"See you for dinner", she said, kissing him once more before grabbing her bag and unlocking his door and walking out.
"You are going where?", her mom asked, as she followed her around her room.
"I can't back out mom. If I do it would look weird", Addie said.
"And what if it's a trap?", her mom asked.
Addie sighed.
"Roman will help me get away. We will run and he will find me. He always finds me", she replied.
"Addie, I don't know about this", Brie said.
"Trust me, mom. I know, I'm scared too, but I have faith in him to protect me", she said.
"I do too", Brie sighed.
"Good. Now help me pick a dress that's not too flashy", Addie said.
Brie smiled.
"The cream one. You usually only wear it when we walk around town to shop", Brie said.
Addie nodded and grabbed it. It was casual and she honestly loved this dress.
"Wear your hair up, you look adorable that way", she added.
"Thank you, mom", Addie said.
Roman was nervous. He hoped everything turned out fine and he didn't have to hurt his dad or brother trying to protect Addie.
He also didn't want Addie getting hurt.
"Rome, come down and help us set up", Randy called up to him.
Roman took a deep breath before going down. Everyone was in the kitchen. Dean and Seth helping cook.
Randy handed Roman a few plates.
"Nervous?", Randy asked.
"A little", Roman replied.
Randy chuckled. The doorbell rang and Roman was going to go answer it.
"I got it", Hunter called from the living room.
That made him even more nervous. Getting to the living room, Addie was walking in with a smile.
"Well its nice to finally meet you Addie", Hunter said, closing the front door.
"You as well. Roman speaks about you all the time", Addie replied.
"Good things I hope", Hunter replied.
She smiled and nodded.
"Yes, all good. Promise", she giggled.
Roman approached slowly. Hunter looked at him.
"She's a looker", Hunter whispered to him as he passed.
Roman chuckled.
