4 thousand years ago { somewhere in Japan}

Naruto jumped away from a sword strike and quickly backed away from an overhead swing from a spear that had followed after the first as he got some distance between himself and his assailants he got a good look at them.

The first was a tall slender woman with a pale skin tone. She has a long nose, white hair, and a white pearl in her head. Next to her was another tall woman taller than the one welding the spear she has long fluff of pink hair and pale peach skin and her gem was located on her naval. these two were Rose Quartz the leader of the Crystal Gems who have started a rebellion against home world which has lasted over four millennia now and Pearl her second in command.

Naruto cursed to himself for letting his guard down while also wondering how they knew where to find him for only him, the diamonds, and the troops he had brought knew of this location he had set up.

Currently, he was in quite a predicament after getting caught in an ambush and separated from his troops after engaging in combat with his opponents he was caught in a stalemate with the two, and as he held his weapon of choice of the day in front of him which was a katana he couldn't help but stare at rose who did the same at him this woman here the great enemy to homeworld and everything he cares about it ever since he was introduced to it.

He glared at the women with hatred crossing over him his muscles tensing, his hand gripping his weapon causing his hand to turn white from how hard he held it. Here right in front of him who caused a war to last for so long who caused so many gems to lose their lives that he lost count and for what a lousy planet whose very own people are killing it and themselves which is stupid if you ask him.

Inhaling and exhaling a deep breath he got ready to go on the offensive when he saw Rose lowering her sword not all the way but just enough to be seen as non-threatening but ready to go on the defense encase.

"Naruto," Rose says still holding his gaze "Please surrender we have you outnumbered and surrounded you don't have to fight us anymore," Rose says.

Naruto looked at her surprised in his eyes as he processed her words to him before a small but noticeable grin formed on his face "Really Rose don't make me laugh you really expect me to surrender to you!" he lets how a chuckle before continuing "sorry but the only way you're taking me is when my body is dead and cold."

Rose looked at him expressionless while the top of her hair cast a shadow over her eyes. He also notices how she's slightly shaking from rage most likely before she shoots her head up that's when he sees why she was shaking she was crying tears falling from her eyes.

"Why! Why do you fight for them you're not even the same species while the people of Earth their just like you organic human free-willed that's something the diamonds don't understand. Here I'm offering you a chance for you to choose to not work for them no more and yet you choose them over freedom why just tell me why." Rose finsched tears still falling her breathing coming out in huffs after she shouted at him for an answer.

Naruto just looks at her then signs as he gets out of his stance and rests his sword on his shoulder and one hand behind his head as he rubs it. " You wouldn't understand Rose at least if I had the time to tell you I could make you understand why I chose them over this planet but right now all you need to know is that I owe white diamond my life and I would gladly do ANYTHING for her," Naruto says lowing his hand from his hand and started gathering energy into his hand for a sneak attack that he knows he will hit and that with it it will finally end this pointless war.

"Which is for her and the others I will end this NOW pearl," Naruto and Rose say with naruto launches his attack from his hand and unleashed a blast of energized crystals at Rose but it turns out Rose was prepared for it calling out to her other comrade who was hiding nearby.

Pearl leaped out from her covering from a nearby set of bushes knocked his sword from his hand and hit him with her spear which she had turned into a staff dazing him long enough for her to get out of the way for what came next.

Rose had summoned her shield in the nick of time as she deflected the blast of energy back to Naruto who could only stare in disbelief with wide eyes before the beam hit him launching him off his feet and even closer to the edge of the cliff.

Groning in discomfort Naruto struggled to stand on his feet as he breathed heavily before noticing that his body was starting to get covered in pink crystal clicking his teeth in annoyance he finally stood to his feet looking at his foe the both of them staring in shock at what was happening to him.

"Welp looks like you won this fight Rose but mark my words somehow some way I'll have payback and if I somehow get out of this will have my rematch no backup and no surprises," Naruto says to them before raising his arm to his face to speak into his communicator " to any surviving members of squad nine retreat I repeat retreat and don't bother waiting for this is it for me head on home," Naruto says before falling to the ground landing on his back as the crystals started traveling up his body faster and in only minutes he was fully crystallized.

Rose and Pearl now walking up to the body of their sealed foe could only stare before Pearl spoke "What do we do with him Rose obviously we can't leave his body here for homeworld to find and possibly bring him back"

Rose didn't respond she could only stare at the body of her friend and former guard closing her eyes to stop more tears from falling she steeled her resolve sticking out both her hands a pink bubble appeared around the body before it started floating over the edge before both the bubble and body fell into the ocean never to be seen again.

"Rose?" Pearl said sending her leader a questioning look. Rose stared at where she just dumped her old friend over looked at Pearl with a look of reinsurance before looking ahead again "don"t worry pearl I'm fine soon all this will be over." Rose says confidence in her words knowing that soon this war will end and espeally knowing what she has to do next turing around to walk away she gestured for pearl to follow her back there next step now that one of their biggest obstacle was out of their way to their biggest target and if done correctly can bring the end to this war.
