Everyone sat in silence as they try to digest what they had just saw where the leader of a criminal organization wanted Lincoln to join them and sent three of their lackeys to stalk him throughout his entire journey.
(Chapter 9: Lucky Lincoln)
"Funny, I don't exactly feel lucky…" the middle Loud child said in a dreaded tone still feeling a pit in his stomach as his counterpart hasn't even been a Trainer for a day and was already targeted by a criminal organization.
The Next Morning, at the Pokémon Center,
Lincoln, Misty, and Raigo had just woken up, and were heading to the lobby. They were planning to head out as soon as they got their Pokemon back. As soon as they arrived in the Lobby, Nurse Joy greeted them. "Good morning you three, I trust you had a good night's sleep?" she asked.
"Probably the best sleep I've had in a long time." Lincoln commented.
"I can't even begin to tell you how good it feels to sleep in a bed like that after the past few days of hiking through the wilderness," Raigo commented.
"I definitely needed every minute of that sleep," Misty commented. Lincoln then proceeded to return the key card.
"Those must be pretty great beds." Bobby commented wondering if he could get whatever kind of mattress that Center place uses for his apartment.
"I wouldn' mind havin' a bed to sleep on aft'r a good ol' long day of farmin'." Liam added since a good night sleep on a comfy bed would be great after a full day of farm duties.
"Here's the key card," he said.
"Thank you. Now, before you go, Officer Jenny and the Poke'mart Clerk have something they wish to discuss with you," Nurse Joy said, pointing to the Poke'mart, where the police officer from last night was standing, talking with the clerk.
"Really? Did we do something wrong?" Lincoln asked.
"Quite the opposite. From what I overheard, Jenny wants to ask you three about what happened last night. As for the clerk, I think he said something about having something for you." Nurse Joy replied. Sharing a glance with one another, the three trainers made their way over to the Poke'mart.
"That's great they're awarding you for stopping that heist." Stella commented with a smile seeing her friend getting a little thank you gift from both the Officer and Store Clerk.
"You wanted to see us, Officer?" Lincoln asked.
"Yes. I understand that the three of you were instrumental in driving off Team Rocket from the Pokémon Center last night. On behalf of the Viridian City Police Department, I want to personally thank each of you for your actions." Officer Jenny explained.
"It was our pleasure, Officer. Anyone would've done the same thing if they were in our position." Misty replied.
"Speaking of Team Rocket, were you guys able to find them?" Raigo asked.
"Since we all saw those three in their Boss' office, I'd say that they did manage to escape local law enforcement." Myrtle said slowly shaking her head because those three, even though they're complete imbeciles, managed to avoid getting arrested.
"Unfortunately, we weren't able to find them. Not even their hot air balloon." Officer Jenny replied.
"How did they even manage to hide something so eye catching?" Zach questioned wondering how those three even managed to hide a balloon one would see in a parade.
"Better question is how they could even escape law enforcement in a hot aired balloon?" Clyde pondered scratching his head since hot aired balloons are exactly the speediest mode of transportation.
"Sorry Officer. I tried to keep them from getting away, but they got out of reach." Lincoln replied.
"It's quite alright. The important thing is that the Pokémon Center is safe. Anyhow, that's all I wanted to talk to you about. I do believe the Pokemart Clerk has something he wants to give each of you." Officer Jenny said, stepping to the side.
"That's right, Officer. On behalf of those working at the Viridian City Poke'mart, I would like to present the three of you with these," the clerk said, distributing bags of goods to the three trainers. Lincoln received a bag containing some Poke'balls, Potions, some spray bottles with the phrases "Paralyze Heal" and "Antidote" on them. They were sitting on a small stack of clothes. Misty and Raigo received similar items in their bags, excluding the clothes.
"Whoa, they actually have something that cures paralysis and even poisons." Zach said in awe as that sort of stuff would come in handy when the Earth is invaded and/or enslaved by a much more hostile race of Aliens then the ones they encountered last Halloween because of Chandler.
"I think those are meant for the Pokémon…" Ronnie Anne flatly commented since those types of medicine would be very beneficial for hospitals and other places of medical practice/treatment.
"Not to mention that reality's Lincoln getting some new threads." Rusty added reminding everyone about the other Lincoln's new set of clothes.
"You're giving me a new set of clothes?" Lincoln asked.
"Indeed. Those particular clothes are imported directly from the Kalos Region. They're tailor made and excel in being resistant to the elements. Normally, designer brands such as these carry a hefty price in stores, but for what you and your friends did last night, consider them a gift, courtesies of the Poke'mart." the clerk replied.
"Whoa, those must be some very durable materials they're using to manufacture such clothing." The McBride said with a thoughtful expression as he was intrigued by the clothing his best friend was given.
"Lori, Leni, and Lola would surely flipped hearing that my other self has gotten a set of designer clothing for free." Lincoln sheepishly commented knowing just how those three acted when it comes to designer brand clothing.
"The fact those first two wrecked your entire house over a stupid dress, I don't blame you." Albert bluntly said still disappointed about the whole "Sister Fight Protocol" involving the unfair treatment his only grandson received as well the complete lack of authority and discipline both his daughter and son-in-law failed to show in reining their daughters in when they should've had the two talk things out peacefully instead of limiting everyone's access to the entire house as well singling Lincoln out as well never even telling him about this terrible system in the first place, and all because they bought similar dresses!
"Wow, thanks. Is there somewhere I can try them on?" Lincoln asked.
"Sure thing, the changing rooms right over there," the clerk replied, pointing to a nearby booth. Lincoln ducked inside and changed out of his usual attire into his new outfit. His new outfit consisted of an orange-colored jacket with white trim, black fingerless gloves, a pair of dark brown colored jeans, a pair of black and orange sneakers, and finally an orange-colored headband with a Poke'ball mark on it. Once he finished changing, he stepped out.
"Dang Dawg, looking fresh." Rusty commented as everyone let out their thoughts and comments about KGL Lincoln's new wardrobe.
"So, how do they look?" Lincoln asked.
"Hmm, not bad, not bad at all." Misty commented.
"Given that they're designer clothes, of course they look awesome." Raigo added.
"Personally, I would do with just a little less orange, but it's still a good look for you." Officer Jenny commented.
"If the bombshells are giving the outfit a good score, they must be great! Wonder where I can get a set so that the ladies would keep their eyes on me." the Spokes Boy commented with a perverted snicker only to get smacked by and irritated Stella and Zach.
""Horndog…"" both of them said with annoyed expressions as they continued to watch.
"And that's not all. Check your jacket pocket," the clerk said. Lincoln then dug around in both jacket's pockets, before fishing out two grey colored USB.
"Whoa Little Loud, they even gave you some of those TM drives." Bobby commented since it was nice of the clerk to give his brother-figure something that his Pokémon could use for future battles.
"TMs? You're just giving these to me?" Lincoln asked.
"Consider it a gift from Joy and me. We know you have a Pikachu and Fearow, so those two TMs will come in handy at the Pewter City Gym." Officer Jenny replied.
"Aww… now you're getting gifts from such sexy babes, lucky!" Rusty whined feeling very envious of his friend receiving something from two sexy women which received him another smack upside the head by the younger Santiago and Zhau girls
"Oh, well, thank you. Might I ask what moves are on these two?" Lincoln asked.
"One is for the Iron Tail Move, while the other is for Steel Wing," Nurse Joy replied.
"I've included one TM in each of your bags, as well," the Clerk said to Misty and Raigo. The two of them fished out a blue and reddish-brown colored USB respectively. "Your TM is for the move Water Pulse, Misty. As for you, Raigo, you've been given the TM for Bulk Up."
"There's seriously a move called "Bulk Up"?" Bobby questioned with a confused expression on his face after hearing the name of the move on the TM given to that Raigo kid.
"Oh, so the color of the TM drives represents what type the Moves programmed in them are." Lincoln commented now having a better understanding about the function of TMs as well which of the eighteen types of the moves could be for the Pokémon to learn.
"Wow, thanks. I've been after this TM for a while now," Misty commented.
"And Bulk Up is bound to help me out big time," Raigo commented.
"Well, I'd better be going now. Come to the riverbank on Route 2 when you're ready Lincoln and I'll help you with catching a Water Type Pokémon." Misty said, as she exited the Pokémon Center.
"Looks like someone already has a date plan." Ronnie Anne said in a teasing tone getting Lincoln to blush.
"It's not a date! Misty offered my other self some help in catching a Water type Pokémon." He retorted since he already had to deal with his sisters butting in his romantic life even when he's not even looking for a girlfriend at the moment.
"Relax Lincoln, Ronnie here was only teasing." Stella defended with an amused chuckle as everyone lightly chuckled/snickered as the White-haired boy buried his face within his hands.
"I'm going to do a little sightseeing around Viridian City before I move on, so I'll meet you on Route 2," Raigo said, as he took his leave.
"I have one final token of gratitude, Lincoln." Nurse Joy said, catching the Middle Loud child's attention. She proceeded to pull out a small container that looked to be made of space age materials.
"Whoa, what is that? Kind of looks like a futuristic shoe box." Zach questioned with his eyes sparkling upon seeing the item in question.
"Whoa, what is that? Kind of looks like a futuristic shoe box." Lincoln asked.
"This is a Trainer Kit. It comes with all manner of necessities that trainers will need on their journeys, including a first-aid kit, camping gear, cooking utensils, the whole nine yards," Nurse Joy explained.
"Now that would make carrying supplies for a camping trip or picnic easy." Clyde commented since that sounds like a great item to come in handy with packing, setting up, and cleaning up afterwards.
"How do they fit all of that into such a small box?" Lincoln asked.
"I'm not really sure myself. They're developed by the Silph Co., so I would assume they use the same technology they use to make Poke'balls," Nurse Joy theorized.
"Makes as much sense as anything else so far." Stella commented with a shrug not even wanting to deal with the headache in trying to figure out the physics behind such inventiveness.
"In any case, it should make travelling easier," Officer Jenny added.
"Well, I've learned never to say no to anything that helps make things easier. Thank you both for everything," Lincoln said, as he put the Trainer Kit into his backpack. "Uh, two more things before I head out. One, is there any hobby store here in Viridian City?" Lincoln asked.
"Oh right, Prof. Oak mentioned that my other self should find a pendant for the Rainbow Wing." Lincoln realized snapping his fingers recalling the conversation between him and the professor a few chapters ago.
"Oh sure, just head down the street, take the first left, and it'll be the third building on your right." Officer Jenny replied.
"Great. And two, how do I get to Pewter City from here?" Lincoln asked.
"Just head north to Route 2, then head through the Viridian Forest, and it'll be on the other side." Nurse Joy replied.
"Again, good calls on asking for directions since you don't want to get completely lost." Albert commented since a little bit of Intel could surely go a long way.
"Great. Again, thanks for everything." Lincoln said.
"Oh, one last thing!" Officer Jenny said, handing Lincoln a slip of paper. Unfolding it, Lincoln's jaw dropped. The note said (Call me, XOXO, Officer Jenny.)
"Aww maaaan… Now that sexy officer is giving you her number, lucky! What's next, that bombshell Nurse gonna give you her number also and that she's possibly wearing a thong under her skirt?" Rusty once again whined in envy before getting punched in the face by Ronnie Anne and a harsh glare from Bobby since their Mama Maria is a nurse.
"Wait, you're giving me your number?!" Lincoln exclaimed.
"Yep. After all, cutie, you're pretty easy on the eyes." Officer Jenny replied.
"Hey, no fair!" Nurse Joy exclaimed, quickly writing something down, before handing another piece of paper to Lincoln.
"Heheh, looks like my hair wasn't the only thing you've inherited Lincoln." Albert jokingly chuckled as it seems his grandson was becoming a chick magnet in the other universe.
"Wait, isn't it illegal for adults such as yourselves to be hitting on a kid like me? I mean, I get I'm an emancipated minor, but still," Lincoln questioned. Both women giggled.
"Oh, you needn't worry about that. Despite our mature looks, the two of us are only 15," Nurse Joy replied.
"""""THEY ARE ONLY 15?! ?! ?!""""" Everyone shouted in complete shock learning about Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny's real age since from their appearances alone they all just assumed they were young adults as Rusty, Clyde, Zach, Liam, and Bobby fainted with slight nose bleeds, while Albert, Stella, and Ronnie Anne paled with speechless expressions on their faces.
Even the suspended members of the Loud family were left completely shocked hearing that both Bluette and Pinkette were really teenagers and yet had bodies of fabulous supermodels with plus extras as Luna's face was boiling red while blood gushed from her nostrils while Lori, Luan, and Lynn Jr. were livid since they were still in their training-bras.
"Seriously, you two are only 15 and you're working as a police officer and a nurse?" Lincoln asked in disbelief.
"Well, technically, we're only interning under our mother's, the current, official Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny. We're getting in practice before we go and try to earn our official licenses as an officer and medical professional," Officer Jenny replied.
"So, you two share the same names as your moms?" Lincoln asked.
"Yeah, as well as all of our sisters, aunts, and cousins." Nurse Joy replied, showing him a picture, which had several, identical Nurse Joys.
"The same goes for my family too." Officer Jenny added, showing a similar picture of several, identical Officer Jenny's.
"Talk about family resemblance." Lincoln quietly commented.
"Aww… an entire family of beautiful busty bombshell babes with added Milfs~" Rusty moaned fantasizing about the whole Joy and Jenny families only to immediately be knocked unconscious by a stoic Stella and Ronnie Anne who were still shocked by the Officer and Nurse's true age as well learning that they come from families who all looked the same.
"Yeah, we get that a lot," Nurse Joy replied.
"So, about our numbers, feel free to call us anytime, and don't hesitate to come back just to see us." Officer Jenny said, as she and Nurse Joy wrapped their arms around the white-haired boy, who blushed from feeling their massive breasts rubbing against him. It wasn't until Chansey and an orange dog Pokémon with black stripes came by and pried the two of them off.
"[Growlithe, the Puppy Pokémon, a Fire type: A Pokémon with a friendly nature. However, it will bark fiercely at anything invading its territory.]" Rotom-dex informed giving information on the Puppy Pokémon, but nobody was really paying attention as they were still recovering from the shock of learning Joy and Jenny's age.
"I swear, I can't leave you alone for five minutes!" Chansey said, hoisting Nurse Joy overhead.
"The things I have to put up with." the dog Pokémon grumbled, biting and pulling on Officer Jenny's skirt, pulling her away.
"I'll uh… keep that in mind, but for now, I got to get going," Lincoln said, before making his way to the door. It was then that Jenny noticed something.
"Are you seriously wearing a thong?" she asked. Nurse Joy immediately held down her skirt, blushing furiously. Lincoln tripped at hearing the question but was quick to regain his composure.
Everyone immediately dropped from their seats upon hearing that.
"Called it~" Rusty mumbled in his unconscious state as a very loud scream snapped them awake.
Just as he was about to leave, he heard Misty screaming in a mix of disbelief and anger. He quickly rushed outside, "What's wrong?!"
"Just look at this!" Misty exclaimed, motioning to the rubble where Team Rocket had planted their explosives. Lincoln immediately saw the bike rack was underneath the rubble, "Team Rocket's bombs completely totaled my bike!" she exclaimed. And she wasn't wrong. Both Lincoln and Pikachu saw that her bike looked to be broke beyond repair. "And bikes like that are super expensive too! At a whopping 1,000,000 Poke'dollars!"
"""""1,000,000 DOLLARS FOR A BIKE?! ?! ?!""""" Everyone shouted upon hearing the amount of money spent for a single bike.
"That's at least 10,000 in US Currency!" Stella exclaimed since the most a new bike would cost was around three-hundred dollars with a build-in sidecar.
"Well, maybe there's a way you can get a discount on a new bike?" Lincoln suggested.
"That's a good idea and all, but the only way I can do that is with a Bike Voucher, and those things aren't exactly easy to come across. And I would rather not borrow one of my sister's bikes, they'd never let me hear the end of it." Misty groaned.
"Been there since I've also dealt with hand-me-downs." Lincoln sympathized as a clip showed him receiving pink frilly bike from Lori, which was given to Lynn Jr. when he borrowed her red BMX bike which he given to Lana, a broken guitar from Luna which she literally just broken, the disturbing Colonel Crackers from Luan, a sequence crop-top from Leni, and a used jockstrap from Lynn Jr.
"Why does Lynn even give you a jockstrap when you don't even play sports?" Stella questioned before her question was answer hearing footage Lynn saying thank her brother would take her when she practices groin kicks on him which was harsh since she treats her own brother like a practice dummy.
"Well, I'm sure a voucher will turn up eventually. But until it does, what are you going to do?" Lincoln asked.
"I honestly haven't a clue," Misty groaned.
"Well, maybe if we look around the region, maybe someone will be willing to just give you a voucher." Lincoln theorized.
"Yeah, I suppose you have a point there. But do you really want me to travel with you?" Misty asked.
"Geez Lincoln, not even a day and you're already asking a girl to travel with ya." Mrytle heartily chuckled seeing her step-grandson asking a girl to travel with him.
"Yeah, I want to get as many pointers about being a trainer as I can." Lincoln replied.
"Well, seeing as how I am a well-seasoned trainer, I guess I should help you out, but only as far as Cerulean City." Misty said, kind of boasting a bit.
"Right, anyway before we go catch a Water Pokémon, I gotta make a quick stop into the Hobby Store. I'll meet you up by the river." Lincoln said, as he followed Officer Jenny's instructions. All the while, Misty couldn't help but wonder one thing.
"Why does he need a hobby store?"
At the Hobby Store,
It didn't take long for Lincoln to find the store. "So, why are we here?" Pikachu asked.
"I want to get some sort of pendant to put the Rainbow Wing in for safe keeping," Lincoln replied, as they entered the store. Upon entering, they were showed in confetti.
"Congratulations, young man! You're our 1,000,000th customer since we opened!" the store owner declared.
"Wow, really? What did I win?" Lincoln asked.
"You have just 30 minutes to gather as many items as you can and bring them back to the front of the store. If you can get back here within 30 minutes, whatever you grab is free of charge!" the store owner explained.
"Just like the promotion from Flip's except more generous with the amount of time." Clyde commented remembering their dash and grab training when Flip's customer count nearly reached a million and they only had a few seconds to get whatever free stuff they count get their hands on.
"Really? Talk about a lucky break." Lincoln commented, before realizing what he had just said. 'Talk about irony...' he thought.
"Guess the Hobby Store gets much more business than Flip's Food and Fuel, especially given how much a swindler Flip is." Lincoln commented as the projector showed clips of Flip's cheapness as well disgusting use of the nacho cheese which caused everyone, except Lincoln and Clyde, to turn green as they felt like throwing up.
"Alright, if you'll take your position, and we'll begin the countdown!" the store owner instructed the white haired Loud, "Ready, set, go!" he said, as Lincoln speed walked through the store, before he realized something.
"Uh, where can I find stuff for like lockets and stuff?" Lincoln asked.
"That would be in Aisle 7," an employee replied.
"Thanks," Lincoln replied, as he made his way to Aisle 7. Upon reaching the Aisle, he pulled out the Rainbow Wing and held it up to each charm. "The pendant we want has to be big enough to properly hold the Rainbow Wing, while also not being too big." he said.
"How about this one?" Pikachu asked, pointing to a bronze-colored locket. Lincoln held up the Rainbow Wing to compare sizes, and found that it was a perfect match, but just barely.
"This looks good. I think it'll work," Lincoln commented, as he took the locket, and made his way back to the front of the store. He made it back to the front of the store, just in time for the timer ran out.
"Well, were you able to find what you were looking for?" the store owner asked.
"Yes. This item," Lincoln replied, showing the locket.
"Ah, a very nice item. As I said before, it's yours free of charge," the owner said.
"Thank you for this," Lincoln replied.
"You're quite welcome. And please do come again," the owner said, as Lincoln left the store. Lincoln then placed the Rainbow Wing inside the Locket.
"There, nice and safe," Lincoln said, placing the locket in his backpack. "Alright, now I've got to go meet up with Misty on Route 2. Wonder which way I can go to get there?" he wondered.
"Just leave the directions to me," Pikachu said.
"You know the way?" Lincoln asked.
"Yep. I've come through this way from Viridian Forest loads of times," Pikachu replied.
"Oh, well, in that case just point me in the right direction," Lincoln said, as they began walking.
"Well, now that you got your pendant, looks like we're seeing your fishing date with that Misty girl." Albert said chuckling amusingly as everyone snickered as his grandson once again covered his blushing face as he groaned.

That's the second chapter update as we're getting closer to the Pewter Gym, see you all again for the next chapter viewing.
Also, when I first watched Pokémon many years ago in elementary school, I immediately thought that Growlithe and Arcanine were Tigers given the color as well their design so anyone else who made that similar mistake when they first got into Pokémon, please leave a comment if you've easily mistook a Pokémon's design as a different animal.
