With a casual wave of his hand, he dismisses the hologram and rises to his full height, the power in his stance unmistakable. He approaches you with a faint smirk, his regal demeanor slightly softened by a hint of familiarity. "Ah, it's you. he says, his tone a mix of nonchalance and faint amusement. "What brings you to my domain today? I trust you're not here to trouble me with anything too trivial."
"You've caught me. It's nothing important, but I've come to see you."
A small smile creeps across King Cold's face. "You came to see me? I must say, I'm flattered." He steps closer to you, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Very well, since there's nothing pressing, I suppose I can indulge you for a moment."
I step close to him and kneel as I take his hand and give him a gentle kiss on the back of his hand. "Is there anyone around?"
He glances around, as if checking to make sure no one is nearby. "They've been dismissed. We wouldn't want to be interrupted, now would we?" He smiles mischievously, his eyes twinkling with anticipation.
"I'm sure you must still have a lot of work to do as the ruler of the universe. You shouldn't spend too much time with me."
He laughs softly, his gaze trained on me. "Work can wait."
"Did you have anything in mind for this evening?"
He steps closer to you, his voice dropping quieter.* I was thinking we could spend some time together in my private quarters."
"That sounds wonderful. We should go right away." I say smoothly.
He smiles, his eyes filled with eager anticipation. * Let's go then. I'm eager to show you what I've had prepared."
I gently hold onto his arm, nudging him forward. "You can lead the way."
I hold onto onto his arm for a moment as we walk through a long corridor, past several guards and servants. The guards bow respectfully as they pass, but they are careful not to stare too long. Once you reach his private quarters, he opens the door and gestures for you to enter.
I enter the room and try to wrap my arms around him and embrace him. "I love spending time with you."
...He touches your shoulder with his hand, guiding you as he walks through the large room with you. His touch is cold and strong, and he exudes an aura of authority.
"You're romantic today. So, what was the special activity you had planned for us?"
He grins mischievously, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. It's a surprise, but I think you'll like it. All I'll say is that it involves a little bit of...physical exercise. He leans down to whisper in your ear. "And I have a feeling you'll enjoy it very much."
"I always do."
He chuckles softly, his voice filled with playful teasing. "Oh, you do, do you? I'll just have to make sure I keep you entertained then." He pulls away and leads you to a door on the other side of the room.
"I'm eager to see what you've been keeping from me."
He opens the door and gestures for you to enter.
As you walk in the room, your greeted by a sight that takes your breath away. The room is filled with all kinds of exercise equipment, from weights to treadmills to a variety of cardio machines. But what really catches your attention is the large, padded mat in the center of the room, surrounded by a circular ring mirror. It's clearly a training room, but the equipment is arranged in strange way that it almost looks like a stage.
Does he want to see his own reflection that much? He's so full of himself.
He follows you into the room, closing the door behind him. "I thought we should do some training together." He walks over to the mat and takes off his armor, revealing his well formed muscles underneath. He turns to you with a sly smile. You're going to need to get out of that clothing to train properly.
"I don't have clothes to change into." I say, genuinely surprised he just wanted me to train physically, as he strictly forbid me from training my ki energy.
Does he think I'm weak? I wonder, looking down at myself. I'm not fat.
He raises an eyebrow, his expression becoming more serious. "I can have a servant bring you some suitable clothes."
I take off my outer armor cover, feeling noticeably lighter once it's off. "I can change here." I examine the exercise equipment that he had recently installed here."It's okay, but I thought we were going to do something more romantic."
He laughs, his expression softening again. "Ah, I see. You misunderstood me. I wasn't talking about training for exercise. I was talking about training for something else. He steps closer to you, his voice dropping to a whisper. "Something more...intimate."
He's speaking to me now, but my ears reject his voice. I hate the way he looks at me, and every cruel smile that appears on his ugly face.
"You're so mysterious, you really were interested in that weren't you?"
"Perhaps I was." He reaches out and touches your cheek, his fingers trailing down my neck causing a shiver to crawl down my spine.
He pulls you close, his body pressing against your back.. He leans down and whispers in your ear. "Let's start with something simple. A little stretching to warm up our muscles.
He smiles and begins to guide you through a series of stretches, his hands caressing your body as you move. The physical contact is intimate and sensual, and you can feel the heat rising between you.
He continues to guide you through the stretches, his touch becoming more intimate with each movement. His hands move from your shoulders to your hips, and he pulls you closer to him. "Do you feel relaxed now?"
"Yes." you whisper
As he continues to work out for a while and I watch him, As he lifted weights, his muscles flexed effortlessly. His powerful form executing each movement flawlessly, his body glistening with sweat, he glances over at you. "Do you like what you see?"
Not at all.
"You're so strong." I compliment genuinely tounge-tied, and my nose wrinkles in disgust as I smile. I turn away and pretend to sneeze covering my face with my arm for a moment to hide my expression.
As if sensing your sudden change in demeanor,"What's wrong?" " he says, irritation evident in his tone.
"Nothing. It's just that I remembered it's time to put Frieza to bed."
"Frieza can take care of himself now." He narrows his eyes, his tone becoming stern. "If he needs anything, there are other servants that he can ask."
"I promised him I would be there tonight."
After a moment he relents."You can go see Frieza, but I expect you back here in half an hour." he says, clearly frustrated by your persistence.
"I'm not sure if that's possible, Frieza is still young, so making sure he goes to bed on time can be quite difficult. He wants me to read him his bedtime story, and arrange his stuffed animals in just the right way before he can fall asleep. He's still getting used to sleeping alone."
He glares at you, his tone becoming more aggressive. "I don't care if he likes to sleep alone or not. He's old enough to sleep by himself, and I'm not going to let you coddle him. I'm giving you a direct order. You will be back here in half an hour, or there will be consequences. Do you understand?"
"I understand." I give a slight nod.
He takes a deep breath, trying to regain his composure. "Good. I'm glad you understand. Now go see to Frieza, and don't keep me waiting."
You excuse yourself to help Frieza take a bath. The little tyrant, despite his intimidating reputation, is surprisingly helpless when it comes to basic hygiene. It's a delicate operation every night, ensuring he doesn't turn the entire bathroom into a watery battlefield. After successfully getting him through his bath and into his bed, you read him his bedtime story then quickly return to King Cold, hoping you haven't kept him waiting too long.
When you return, King Cold is waiting for you in the training room. He's standing on the edge of the mat, looking out the space window. He turns his head as you enter the room.
"I returned as soon as I could." I glance at the light sweat on his body, hoping he doesn't try to touch me when he's like this. "Would you like to shower with me after training today?" I suggest, well aware of what our later activities may entail. All I could do was give him gentle suggestions so it wasn't so unpleasant for me.
He nods, standing up and walking over to you. "Yes, we can shower after we're done. But first, we need to finish what we started." He takes your hand and pulls you towards the mat.
It's upsetting that his sweaty body is touching me, but I tolerate it in silence as he guides me in stretching routine touching my arms and positioning my body. After a moment he moves away from me and continues his exercise. I try to mimic his stretches.
King Cold's movements are fluid and controlled, his muscles rippling beneath his skin as he stretched. My own attempts at mimicking his stretches felt clumsy in comparison, a stark contrast to his effortless control. I can't deny that I'm beginning to admire his physical prowess.
After a couple minutes we finish. I'm relieved its over and I quickly grab a towel to clean the equipment.
King cold gestures for me to approach and I do.
He gently cups your face and turns your head up towards him. "Look at me."
I look at him then turn away.
He takes my arm and pulls me closer, forcing me to look at him again.
You meet at his gaze for a moment before looking away.
He holds your chin again, forcing you to look at him once more. "Why do you keep looking away? Am I unattractive to you?"
The curse placed on me didn't include mind reading, but was there was a flicker of fear on my face when I doubted this for an instant.
"You are very handsome." I reply quickly. "I would never want you to feel I don't think highly of you."
He relaxes his grip on your chin and then caresses your cheek with his thumb. "I want to know what you're thinking."
"I was thinking how nice a shower would be right now, that's all." I suggest, sincerely hoping he takes the offer.
He raises an eyebrow, clearly surprised by your response.* You're thinking about a shower?" He asked, then said suggestively." Is that really all you're thinking about?"
"Is that bad?"
He chuckles and shakes his head. "No, it's not bad. I just thought you were thinking about something more... romantic." *
I am silent at this, as I wasn't particularly looking forward to our usual routine.
He tilts his head to the side, studying you for a moment. I sense there's something else on your mind. Something you're not telling me.
"I can't keep secrets from you."
He watches you intently and his expression becomes more agitated, not entirely convinced. "You're usually much more direct."
"I suppose so." I admit, then try to redirect his attention. "You seem tense. Would you like me to give you a massage?"
"You may." King cold sat down in a nearby chair and crossed his arms.
"You worked up quite a sweat while I was busy." I come closer and rubbed the towel over his damp back and neck. Once he was dry, I fold the towel and put it down nearby for a servant to come get later. Then I massage the tense muscles at the base of his skull. Slowly working my way down his neck and shoulders, I felt his body begin to relax.
He closes his eyes, "... You're not bad at this. I should have you massage me more often."
"It would be my pleasure." I say, sincerely hoping he doesn't take me up on the offer.
"I have been occupied with matters of the empire. It is reassuring to know that Frieza is being... attended to." He groans in pleasure as you massage his neck and shoulders.
"Frieza is very ambitious, he loves to talk about how wants to rule like you."
"Frieza is a bright child. I have no doubt that he'll make an excellent ruler one day. He has the potential to be even stronger than me."
"Yes. He surprises me with how smart he is, and his fighting skills are also very impressive. His power is already far beyond his age."
King cold nods in agreement. I'm proud of how far he's come in such a short time. I have no doubt that he'll be a force to be reckoned with. With the right guidance, he could become the most powerful being in the universe."
I gently hummed as I leaned back with my hands still on him shoulders. "Would you like me to massage your back now?
He nods his head and shifts slightly to give you better access to his back.
I lean close to him from behind to whisper in his ear. "It's all thanks to having the strongest warrior in the universe teaching him, his father."
"You flatter me." King cold smiles and leans back slightly to listen to you.
"You know it's true." I say quietly, remembering the stories he told me about Maji buu and beerus.
"It is my duty. I must ensure Frieza is prepared to inherit this position and my knowledge and experience will be passed to him. He will lead our empire into a new era of glory."
"It's my duty to help you feel good too. These massages must be why you decided to take a wife. Or was your decision to seek a mate from another world was born from a desire for novelty, rather than genuine affection?"
He chuckles softly. "That's one of the reasons, yes. But the main reason I chose you was because I saw potential in you. You have a incredible untapped power level, now bestowed upon our son frieza."
"You mean you saw my battle power readings and were impressed so you had me kidnapped." I comment with a slight amusement in my voice, remembering that horrifying day and the nightmare of torture and painful experimentation that ensued. I would rather die then endure that again.
He laughs, a smile spreading across his face.* "Yes, your power readings did impress me. But we nearly killed you on that planet. It was your determination that really stood out to me. You refused to give up until the end. That kind of tenacity is rare, and I admire it greatly."
"We could continue this in the shower, if you'd like." I say, hoping he takes the hint. This towel can only do so much.
He raises an eyebrow, intrigued by the suggestion.
"It will be more difficult since you're very tall, but I think I can manage."
"Are you sure your comfortable with that?"
"I always must be… ready to do my best. You expect nothing less."
He seems annoyed by your response before his expression relaxes."You're right. You don't have a choice. This will be interesting."
I walk behind him as he leads me down the hallway. The spaceship is so big, it's easy to feel lost inside even though I've been here many times over the last couple years. Once we are out of sight I hold onto his arm and we walk together.
"I've sent a few servants to watch over Frieza while we're away." He opens the bathroom door and enters first and I follow him inside. The door clicks shut behind us. "There won't be any interruptions now."
I let go of his arm. He gently pulls off the white insignia I had strapped to the armor plated clothes on my chest and placed it off to the side on a table.
"I can undress myself," I insist, taking off the outer layer of my dress. I fold it neatly before placing it on a nearby rack. He began to remove his armor.
"Do you mind if I change the temperature? I'm still not used to the cold." There's no response from him and I slowly adjust the faucets sliding temperature dial. I suppose he hardly feels a difference.
"I see, your body is still far weaker than those of our race." King cold says, stepping behind me and putting his hands on my waist. "The experiments may have failed with you, but our son will be the most powerful being in the universe."
I step away from him and enter the shower. He follows you in. I turn away from him and grab some soap. He watches you lather the soap onto your arms.
"Come here. I'll lend you a hand with that."
His hand snaked down to my waist, gently pulling me closer as I turned to face him. I place my hands on his chest to maintain a small distance between us.
"You know it's my job to serve you. You shouldn't keep doing things for me."
"Don't tell me what I can do." he runs his soapy hand down my back.
"You're too generous. Is there something else on your mind or is my power the only thing that appeals to you?" I try to turn away from him but he keeps me in his embrace.
"Your race may be different from mine, but there's something about you that appeals to me in a different way." he says in a slightly mocking tone, and his hand moved along the side of my neck. "Perhaps it's your vulnerability or ease to control."
His words sent a shiver of disgust through me. The hatred simmering under the surface finally came boiling over, and in a burst of defiance, I shove him away.
He flinches at the unexpected outburst, but his expression remains mostly unchanged. "Is that the best you can do?"
I quickly try to exit the shower and he grabs my wrists from behind and pins them up, and face is pressed against the wet shower wall.
"Let go of me." I try to wriggle free but his grip is too strong.
He scoffs at your demand. "You're not going anywhere."
You struggle even harder now and he puts more pressure on your arms.
"You think you can stand up to me?" He laughs. "You should be grateful I allowed you to live after you tried to escape. You don't deserve my mercy." He steps closer to you. His body presses against mine as he pushes me harder against the wall. He's squeezing you so hard you feel faint as the hot steam of the shower fills your lungs.
"Now tell me, why are you acting this way?" He turns you around to face him.
Your silent as your mind races trying to find a way to get out of this situation. You turn your head away from him. He grabs your chin and forces you to look up at him.
"Look at me. You're not getting out of this now. " the showers pours down on you muffling your ears from his voice, but offers no relief from his intent gaze.
I don't have any freedom or dignity left and you still want to humiliate me?
I reach up and caresses his cheek with my free hand and guide him lower towards me so I can give him a kiss.
He lets out a surprised grunt when you try to kiss him, but quickly catches on to your game. He leans back, avoiding your lips and smirking. "I'm not so easily distracted."
"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me. It was nothing I promise." I lean toward him and run my hands down his chest then around his back and embrace him. "Please overlook my behavior tonight." the side of my head rests against his lower chest.
His arms wrap around you and pull you into tight embrace. "That's how I like you to behave." He strokes your back. "Now listen closely and I'll make this easy."
"Easy?" I say, confused by his choice of words.
He chuckles. "Easy for me. I won't punish you tonight. Instead, I'll give you a choice. You can either come to bed or stay here tonight."
There really were no options for me. He just wants to know if I wanted to sleep with him. I hesitate, humming thoughtfully before I reply.
"Could I have some alone time first?"
He raises an eyebrow, clearly surprised by your request.*
"I'll allow it. You can spend some time in here, but you must come to bed tonight. Understood?"
"I'll be there soon."
He narrows his eyes at you, his face hardening as he takes in your words as though unsatisfied with your response.
"Good. I expect you to be in my room by midnight. "*He smirks and releases you, his hands running along your back before he pulls away.*
I reach toward a towel to dry myself off, gently brushing it against my skin.
He watches you, and doesn't say anything, but he makes no effort to leave either.
I stop what I'm doing and instead I take a towel to dry him off first. He closes his eyes and relaxes as I begin. I dry off his tail, his long muscular legs and then the rest of his body while he stands there silently.
Once I finish, he turns and leaves the bathroom.
You wait in there savoring the time you have left, wasting time in the bathroom doing everything from inspecting the sleek design to counting droplets of water on the shower wall in order to annoy him. After about thirty minutes have pass, before there is a knock on the bathroom door.*
"Come out, dear. I'm waiting for you." He says almost in almost mocking tone
Gross.
I feel nauseous, and an indescribable feeling wells up within me rom the pit of my stomach, but I'm not sure what it is, but I'm not looking forward to this.
You're silent as the knocking grows louder.
"Answer me!" He shouts, his voice growing louder and angrier."Don't make me wait any longer."
I turn the knob of the door and exit the bathroom. He's standing outside the bathroom with his arms crossed wearing just his black underwear, waiting for you. He looks you up and down, his expression stern and unreadable. "You took your time."
I almost didn't come out.
"I'm sorry for taking too long." I say instead.
"Now, let's go to my room."
He grabs your arm and pulls you along, leading you to his room. When you enter, you see a luxurious bedroom, with a massive bed and a large screen in front. The room is decorated in a clean style, with dark furniture and black curtains. You sit onto the bed, and he lays down next to you in his black underwear. He turns to face you, his hand supporting his head.*
"I'm tired." I say. It was the first time I didn't lie that night.
"You're still unaccustomed to the length of days on our planet. " He scoffs, moving to lay on his back with his arms crossed above his head as he watches you. "We will be arriving in a few hours. I want you well rested so you're prepared for what I have planned tomorrow." He has bored expression and looks at you as if waiting for you to do something.
Once you wake up you I get myself ready then go to my son frieza's room and see he's not there. I figure he must be with his father right now, so I go to the throne room .
You arrive at the throne room to find Frieza sitting in his space pod next to his fathers looking very content. They both look up as you enter and frieza greets me loudly in snarky voice. "Hello mother! What took you so long?" The servants in the room were standing off to the side in a quiet discussion.
"Is there an important event today?"
King cold looks up from a handheld monitor. "I have an important task for you today. I want you to witness Frieza's growth in battle power."
Frieza smiles mischievously. "Are you ready to witness my full power?" he summons a ball of energy on the tip of his finger and suddenly the others in the room look nervous.
"How soon do you need him to return or will be with me for today?"
"He will be in your care until the end of the day. Make sure you teach him how to use his power effectively. He's still young and naive, so make sure he's careful."
"Frieza, let's go."
Frieza jumps off his space pod excitedly, landing on the floor with a thud. He takes hold of your dress and pulls you out of the room. As you leave, you can hear king cold chuckling to himself.
I try take his little hand instead despite his protests, but he quickly breaks free and runs off ahead of me. Soon, the spaceship lands smoothly, and as we approach the exit, the large ramp extends down, inviting us to step out.
A strong wind blows into the ship, and the planets temperature is much colder than what I'm accustomed to. The numerous experiments done to me in the past did little to prevent the cold chills me from seeping into my bones every time we return. I try to push the distressing memories from my mind.
"Let's play a game, frieza." I suggest
Frieza perks up at the mention of a game.* A game? What kind of game?
I stand still and focus, using my ki energy to summon a projection of planets and stars I use to lure him to sleep. The mirage grows in size, reaching out all around us. This is simply a larger and more realistic version is simply the toy I've entertained him with for years before he fell asleep.
"Now you can try shooting your energy beam and it will seem like it's the real deal.
I watched your father destroy a few planets and I believe I can replicate it well now." I say, expanding the projection around him and far greater than I've ever have before.
Frieza's eyes light up as he looks at the projection, clearly impressed. He doesn't hesitate to fire a beam of energy towards a planet. The beam hits one of the planets, causing it to explode in a burst of fragments and light.
"Your fireworks are beautiful, mama!"
"Now, I'll rotate the projection and I'll try to make it challenging for you to hit the targets."
Frieza grins at the challenge and waits for you to start the game.
The planets and stars rotate around us and gradually pick up speed till the point where it is difficult for me to follow their movement in my sight. I'm in awe by how Frieza is able to shoot down dozens of the projections so quickly and accurately.
He shoots down each target with ease, moving his hand with a graceful and precise movement. He is clearly enjoying himself and his power level is rising even more.
"Your power is growing far greater than I could have imagined."I compliment, but he ignores me as he plays, only conceretrated on hiting the targets and winning the game.
We continute for a while and it's not that much longer before he begins to get tired.
Frieza is breathing heavily and his body is starting to show signs of fatigue. He seems to be getting tired, but he doesn't seem to want to stop. He continues shooting at the targets without missing, and his accuracy doesn't slip.
He's still very young, but I'm disappointed to see his stamina is not what I expected it to be.
Frieza, how about we play another game? I suggest as the projection gradually slows down around us.
"I don't want to play another game." Frieza looks at you with an annoyed expression.
"It takes a lot more energy than that in a single blast to destroy a planet like your father. "
Frieza seemed upset by that comment."No! I can destroy a planet too! " He whines and stomps his foot."Papa said I'll be the most powerful warrior in the universe. Not him. I'm the strongest!"
"I want to see you fire your next blast at me. Don't go easy on me. I want to see your true power." You press your hands together and summon a shield around yourself far more powerful than you've ever summoned before.
"I'm not holding back." He says with a menacing grin. "Now, see my true power! Frieza's eyes light up with excitement. He focuses all his energy into a powerful blast. The energy builds up in his hand and he releases it towards you with all his might. The blast is powerful, sending a shockwave through the air as it hits the shield.*
The other guards and servants watching at a distance quickly ran away and ducked behind different barriers to protect themselves. A loud explosion erupted and made the ground shake and crack causing a crater to collapse into the ground below me. I hover in the air as I keep the shield active. Once the air clears from the smoke a bit more I can see frieza standing there with a huge grin on his face.
"You really impressed me. You're progressing faster than I thought." I commend then add. "However, that attack still wasn't enough to destroy even one of the moons of this planet."
His expression quickly soured, Frieza scoffs at your words, clearly feeling confident in his abilities. "You think too little of my power. Do you really think I'm not strong enough to destroy a moon?
"Ah well, I definitely think you have the potential. Your father will teach you how to harness more of your power."
Frieza looks away, and seems annoyed by your comment. "I don't like it when you say that. I don't need anyone's help."
"I'm so proud of you." I slightly smile."One day, you'll rule the whole universe, and expand your rule even farther than your father. I wanted to see how strong you've become, because I was curious as to just how soon that day may come."
Frieza looks back at you with a hint of pride in his eyes. " I'll be far more powerful than papa could ever be."
"I'm sure you'll surpass his abilities."
Frieza has a mischievous smile at your praise, as though he's thinking of a way to prove himself to you and his father. "I'll be the strongest fighter in the galaxy and no one will dare to challenge me!" His grin grows even bigger.
For the rest of the day I spend time outside with frieza until it has become late in the day. As the sun is setting the planet grows colder and I try to tire him out with various different exercises of his power to push to his limit. Once I sense he growing tired, I suggest we should return to the palace.
Frieza nods his head in agreement and follows you back to the palace. He's still feeling excited and energized, and he's surprisingly eager to see his father.
Wanting to get back before the sun sets I gently grab frieza's arm for a moment and lift him into the air. We fly back to the place.
Frieza lands gracefully and looks around at the palace.
The memory of last night's confrontation with King Cold flash through my mind and I stop. The lingering tension between us still is a heavy weight on my shoulders. For a moment, I hesitate, my steps faltering as I reconsider meeting with him again.
Frieza is walking towards the entrance to the throne room, but then he pauses and turns to look at you.
Frieza notices that you stopped and he turns back to look at you, his eyes narrowing slightly.* "What's wrong, mama? Aren't you coming?
"It's nothing, don't worry. Let's go see your father." I assured him
Frieza doesn't seem convinced by your answer, but he decides to let it go for now. He walks ahead of you into his father's throne room.*
As you enter, you see King Cold sitting on his throne. He looks up at you and Frieza, and he doesn't seem pleased at all. The others around him are quickly dismissed and leave the room without another word. There is a strange atmosphere in the room, and you can tell it's nothing good.
Frieza approaches his father confidently and begins to tell him about his day. He's clearly proud of his progress and eager to impress his father. As the story progresses King colds expression darkens, but it looks as though he's trying to conceal his irritation.
Frieza is too focused on his story to notice or care about the growing tension in the room. He continues to speak animatedly, unaware of his father's growing anger. King Cold stands up and interrupts Frieza mid-sentence.
"I have no doubt now that you've been hiding your true power from me. I sent Frieza with you to uncover the extent of your deceit, but it's clear now that it's far greater than I anticipated. I thought I could trust you, but clearly, I was mistaken."
"It wasn't my intention to disobey you." I say cautiously. " I've entertained him this way since he was a baby. Any increase in my power is only natural."
King Cold isn't pacified by your explanation. He steps towards you and grabs your arm. "Don't try to justify yourself. I forbid you from using your abilities. I should've known that you'd try to undermine my authority.
"It's not like that at all." You put your hand on the hand of the arm that's holding you." I would never do something like that to you again. I learned from my mistake. It's just a misunderstanding. He just wanted to have fun.." I say quickly.
King Cold tightens his grip and glares at you, his eyes filled with suspicion. "You expect me to believe that you haven't been training?"
I train every day to get away from you.
"Please, let us not fight in front of our son," I request, my voice low and urgent. King Cold scoffs at my plea, his anger not diminishing in the slightest. "I thought you would make an exception."
Frieza's wide eyes watch me with curiosity and a small, mischievous grin spreads across his face. His chubby cheeks puff out slightly as if amused by my plight.
"You think I'm going to let this go? I've strictly forbidden you from training your ki power." King cold says
"Frieza, leave the room." I say, knowing he won't listen.
Frieza huffs, clearly annoyed by the sudden request. Then he giggles and says, "Why would I leave when things are just getting fun?" He looks at you, then at his father, who gives him a stern look.
King Cold lets go of my arm and turns to Frieza. "I want you to leave. Your mother and I are going to have a discussion."
Frieza seems annoyed, but he obeys his father's orders. He walks out of the room and closes the door behind him. You and King Cold are now alone in the throne room and he looks livid .
"Please accept my sincere apology." I lean forward slightly in a bow to convey my respect.
Just as he was about to speak there was a little rustle by the door. King Cold notices that you're looking towards the door. He tilts his head as if listening for a moment. He walks over to the door and opens it.
Frieza is standing outside of the room and Frieza looks at you with an smug expression, but he doesn't say anything. I look at him surprised to see him eavesdropping, although I shouldn't have been.
He knows that he's been caught and he's waiting to see how you and his father will react.
King Cold turns to Frieza and his tone is stern. "Why were you listening in on our conversation? I told you to leave."
Frieza doesn't seem intimidated by his father's anger. He crosses his arms and stares defiantly at King Cold. "I just wanted to see what you two were talking about. Is that so wrong?"
King Cold narrows his eyes and clenches his fists as though not in the mood for his son's rebellious behavior. "You're not to listen in on our conversations. Do you not understand what I'm telling you? "
"I'm tired of you always telling me what to do!" Frieza snaps at his father
"Frieza, this is not the time." I say, and Frieza scowls at you, clearly annoyed that you're trying to intervene.
"I won't tolerate your behavior. Now get out. Don't make me repeat myself." King Cold says to his son.
Frieza opens his mouth to say something but his father cuts him off. "No, Frieza. I don't want to hear any more of your excuses. Go to your room now."
He face turned to a scowl a his tiny fists clenched, and his lower lip trembled with rage."I hate you!"
Frieza storms out of the room, slamming the door behind him. King Cold turns back to you. "He's becoming more rebellious. He must have learned it from his mother." he says, his words dripping with contempt.
"I would never encourage that kind of behavior."
"Silence!" He yells, his anger growing hotter.
King Cold seems to enjoy your fear and he smiles cruelly. His large hand clamped down on your wrist, his vise-like grip that sent a jolt of pain through you. With a forceful tug, he pulled you closer and leaned over you. "Do you know what I would do to you if you were not my wife?" His voice was a venomous whisper.
His grip tightens and my heart pounded a frantic rhythm against my ribs. Despite the terror that claws at me, there was a sliver of reason that calmed me down. I know he wouldn't end my life for something like this.
"You would kill me," I whispered calmly.
King Cold's grip tightens and he pulls you even closer to him. "That's right. If you were not my wife, I would have killed you long ago."
King Cold notices your silence and he smiles cruelly. Do you remember what I told you when I first captured you?"
I wonder for a moment to myself what the hell it was all those miserable years ago before I take a good guess and say, " You require unquestioning obedience from me."
"And what I'd say would happen if you betrayed me again?"
I'm honestly glad I wasn't wrong.
"You would make me wish I was dead. You'd torture and humiliate me thoroughly before you ever decide to take my life." I lowered my head."But I don't want to betray you. I know you deserve my respect and loyalty."
King Cold seems pleased by my sudden show of respect, unaware of how many times I practiced those words for a moment like this.
"Do you really want me to not use my power at all? I've used my ki beside you in the past before-"
He lowers my arm and places his hand on my shoulder. I immediately tense up. An unexpected blow to the side of my face knocked me off balance. I stumble, catching myself with my arm before I hit the ground.
"Are you not listening?" King Cold demanded, his voice sharp with anger.
I sat up pressed my hand onto the side of my face where he had hit me earlier. The stinging pain from the impact was overwhelming and I look away and struggle to focus as he speaks to me.
"You are forbidden from using your power unless absolutely necessary. Is that clear?"
I hesitate before asking for clarification.
"I understand. You only want me to use it for our families safety and the prevent unnecessary deaths among your army."
King Cold's eyes narrow even more. After a moment, he nods."That's fine, but only if absolutely necessary. "
"Now as for that punishment I promised you. You've only made it harder for yourself now." He says with a deep chuckle . "I have something in mind for you."
I stand up from the floor, a little unsteady before I reply. "I will comply with your request."
King Cold seems pleased with my obedience. "Very good. Now follow me." He turns around and starts walking out of the throne room. After a moment I follow after him, my hand pressed onto my throbbing cheek. I avoid the gaze of the guards as I trail behind him in the hallways of palace.
King Cold leads you to a dark, damp room. The walls are lined with weapons and armor. He walks over to a cabinet and opens it, revealing a an assortment of tools. He pull out a thin chain. He turns to you and smiles as he stretches it out with his hands "I think you know what this is for." He puts it back down on a nearby table.
King Cold picks something up I don't want to look at and he approaches me. He looks at me up and down, his eyes filled with contempt. He grabs my arm and pulls me towards him. "This will teach you to obey my commands without question."
"I can't do this again. Don't do this. I say, hoping to get out of this. "Please, I assure you it won't happen again. " The words left a terrible taste in my mouth.
"You should know better than to question my commands. I'm not feeling so merciful after the last time you tried to escape." King Cold lets go of my arm."I'll go easy on you. Take off your armor."
I slowly take off just the outer layer of your armor.
King cold walks towards me with his weapon of choice. You don't look at what he's holding and step back. He holds your shoulder and you wince in expectation, as he brings it down hard on your back. The force of the blow knocks you to your knees and you can feel the sting of the on your skin.
King Cold stands over you and he looks down at you with contempt. "Remember this pain. So you'll know not to disobey me again."
After a few hits I've already had more than enough.
"Please stop. I swear I won't make the same mistakes." Your words were punctuated by wrenching breaths as you beg, "Please forgive me."
King Cold stops for a moment and he looks down at you. He seems amused by your plea for mercy which he had unsuccessfully tried to obtain from you the other day. " Is that so? Are you saying you can't handle my strength?"
king cold stands up and puts his weapon back He leans over me and hold me down by the back of my neck as he hits my back.
"I promise, I'll do anything for your mercy. Just please stop," your voice cracked, tears streaming down your face. "I'm sorry." Your voice chokes with sobs, is barely audible over your gasps for air, as you plead. I tremble on my hands and knees.
I glanceback at him, and he has satisfied smug expression on his ugly face.
He grabs my arm and quickly lifts me up and pushes my back to the wall. I turn my head away from him as he steps closer.
"Look at me." he commands, then holds my chin and he forces me to look at him." I want to see your face.'
His intense red eyes bore into me and his ugly face smiles, and for an instant I fear he can see the hatred in mine. I hold his gaze until I feel safe to tear my eyes away from his.
"You're a lot more obedient than I expected. I might have misjudged you."
"I want to be alone." I say calmly, blinking and feeling a familiar wetness in my eyes. "Can you send someone to put frieza to bed?"
"Very well, You can stay here tonight. I'll have someone else to deal with him. " He says coldly, then taunts. " I'm not known for my kindness, but I can afford you some mercy. "
He chains my arms above me to the wall by my wrists as I stand there. He has this disgusting look of delight in his eyes that I just can't stand, and I wish I could just claw them out that very instant. I take a deep breathe and try not to let him see any reaction to his taunt.
"Please let Frieza know he left his favorite toy in my room. He'll only cause trouble if he can't find it."
King Cold seems annoyed by your request but then nods his head and walks over to the other side of the room, arranging his large assortment of weapons.
A dull ache throbs in my back from the beating. I close my eyes, willing the pain to recede but it lingers more in my mind as the agony only intensifies. I open my eyes again and a surge of anger and resentment overwhelms pain for a moment as I see him standing near the exit of the room with a cruel smile on his ugly face.
I take it all in all the grotesque details, his thin hooked nose, ugly chin, and the deep lines etched on his face. His ugliness is pungent, but I try to calm the queasiness in my stomach. I close my eyes again. I can hear him shutting the door behind him as he leaves the room, but the image persists in my mind.
Hours pass by and my mind begins to wander. Trapped in this dimly lit chamber, it seems as though the walls are closing in, and a shadowy presence growing more oppressive. The room seems to echoes with the relentless pull the electric chains he controls me with. Every attempt to escape is blocked as I'm pulled back to him. His brutality and cruel taunts didn't get to me; instead, what he brought was a deep sense of isolation.
My eyes flicker open for a moment and I see the horned silhouette of King Cold's shadow haunting me out of the corner of my eye. I blink again and he is no longer there.
My eyes shut tightly again.
My breaths came in rapid, shallow gasps as my heart races, making me more disoriented. I'm unable to sleep in this crouching position still chained to the wall, so my mind keeps returning to this dreamlike state as the remnants of my these disturbing thoughts resist my efforts to dismiss them.
Whenever I feel myself slipping again I look up and around the room again, fighting to separate the shadows in the corner of my eye from reality. A light cold sweat coats my skin and my body trembles as I lower my head.
The next day, I was let out by an officer of King Cold and immediately went to rest in my room. I was granted a few hours of peaceful, uninterrupted sleep. I awoke, but my head felt sore and my wrists had faint marks on them.
The following days of my recovery, I avoided King Cold every chance I got. I timed my activities to coincide with his absences, slipping into rooms and hallways only when I was sure he wouldn't be nearby. When I heard loud footsteps or caught a glimpse of his imposing figure, I quickly retreated.
More nightmares plagued me in the week following his beating. Replays of the torture from the other day, and another more unfamiliar one, featuring a barren planet covered in strange insignias everwhere I looked in the dream. It was as though my memories were resurfacing. It was too difficult to make sense of it, and I kept this to myself.
The baffling mystery of his ability to manipulate my ki had crushed my spirit to train in the past, but now it was a powerful catalyst to train. Secretly, I trained relentlessly. At night, I spent time alone looking out at the vast universe from my bedroom window, trying to mimic the shapes and features with my ki energy. I focus intently on the subtle flow of energy within, and time passed quickly as I trained while maintaining my battle power low.
The risk of him sensing even a slight increase in my energy levels was a gamble I was willing to take.
Every moment spent in his presence was a stolen opportunity to hone my powers, a fact that gnawed at me. My efforts to evade King Cold were short-lived, however
Almost a week had passed, when an announcement was made: King Cold would be departing for another distant planet as part of his work, and my heart sank when I learned I had to accompany him as well.
A sharp rap echoed at my door, along with a summons to see him I couldn't ignore.
I make my way to the heart of the ship's operational hub, a cavernous space where the crew gathered for orders and maintenance. Soldiers are busy around, absorbed in various tasks in maintaining and directing the ship.
He seems to be in a good mood and he motions for you to sit down next to him.
I sit down and King Cold leans back in his chair and he studies me carefully. He seems to be thinking about something and he's watching me intently. I feel uneasy under his gaze and I can't help but wonder what he's thinking about.
"What kind of planet are we traveling to?" I say,
"We're traveling to a technologically advanced planet near planet Sadala. It's a world that's home to a powerful race that even the Saiyans were unable to conquer. This race is also known for their fierce fighting spirit and their incredible strength."
"Is this planet going up for sale?"
King Cold nods. "Yes, it is. The Saiyans are no longer interested in it, and Ill make a small fortune selling it to the highest bidder. It's going to be a valuable acquisition for whoever wins the bidding war."
"I'm sure frieza is going to be excited to see what you do."
King Cold chuckles. Frieza will be excited, but I'm not planning on letting him have any part in the planet's destruction yet."
"Oh well, then he'll just have to be content watching you then, although, I can see he's very envious of your power."
King Cold smiles at your remark. "Yes, he is. He may be my son, but he's still young and foolish. He's yet to realize that there is more to ruling the galaxy than just destroying planets."
"What else would you like to teach him?"
King Cold pauses, his gaze steady and commanding. "Planet Trade Organization does not rely so much on extent of my power but rather how I wield it. You must know when to apply force and when to negotiate. Frieza hasn't even begun to grasp this concept yet." He chuckles. "Not everything is about conquering planets."
"He can be quite childish, he is still at that age." I smile slightly.
"Exactly." King Cold nods. "I want to pass my knowledge on to Frieza, so he can become a strong and effective leader in his own time."
King Cold continues to speak, seeming pleased with your attentiveness. "I have to anticipate unexpected conflicts and decide carefully before new additions to my supply of planets can be made, as there are many kinds of resources and unknown hazards. My son is too young to see how his actions will affect business in the future."
King Cold takes a deep breath, his expression neutral as he rests his head in his hand. "I want to discuss something that's been on my mind for a while now."
Ah. I perked up at this. "What's on your mind?" I ask quietly.
"I've noticed that you've been acting differently. You've been avoiding me."
I hesitate to reply.
"I was nervous to be around you after our disagreement the other day, but this is no excuse for my actions."
King Cold sits up and leans closer, his voice deepening. "I must admit, I'm impressed. Others would be too afraid to admit they fear me." He chuckles. "But there's no need—their fear's written all over faces."
"It must be obvious, but my respect for you has grown a lot recently."
A cold smile touches his lips. "This is rather pleasant news. You may not be such a rebellious wife after all." His words almost bring a sense of relief, but I can tell they lack sincerity. He doesn't publicly acknowledge me as his wife, although know there is no need too, as it is quite obvious to those who work with him.
I glance around at those in the very large bustling room, too busy to listen to our conversation.
"Of course," I lean forward."I would never do anything to undermine your authority and lose your trust."
King Cold's eyes narrow as he studies you. He seems to be searching for something, trying to determine if you're being honest with him. "I see. You're not still trying to escape, are you?"
His sudden question surprises me and my heart skips a beat. I shake my head. "I can't escape. It's impossible."
King Cold relaxes a little bit more, leaning back in his chair seeming satisfied with your answer.
I stood up. King Cold doesn't say anything as watches you closely as you approach. He seems to be waiting to see what you're going to do.
I nervously take a few steps closer to him and stand in front of him. I glance around the room. Those working nearby seem busy and act as though they are not paying attention.
"I haven't treated you well and I want to make it up to you. " I say in a low voice.
King Cold raises an eyebrow, he seems curious as to what I'm doing.
I kneel before him as I reach out and take his hand. "Please come with me for a moment, my King."
He looks down at you, his expression softening slightly as though impressed by your bold gesture. He smiles for a moment before nodding his head. "Very well." He stands up and suddenly the atmosphere in the room changes. As we pass by some of the soldiers nearby they move out of the way.
I open the door and enter. Once we're out of sight I take his hand and I guide him to a chair. I walk behind him as he sits in it. I hug him from behind and give him a quick kiss on his cheek.
I gently touch his neck gently with the palm of my hand, then move it towards his shoulder where his armor is."Take this off and I can give you a massage."
He takes off the top of his armor, but leaves on his black shorts. I take it from him and put it on a nearby table.
"You're always working so hard. You need to rest more often." I say massaging his broad shoulders.
"I don't have time to waste on these diversions, as do you."
He caught me, although I suppose it was obvious.
I walk around in front from him and then move closer to him to touch him. He recognizes my intention and pulls me into king colds lap. I wrap my legs around him and I lean against his muscular chest.
King Cold's embrace is firm and somehow comforting, and you can feel his heart beating against your body. I stroke his cheek with my hand and plant a gentle kisses on his cheeks. King Cold closes his eyes as you caress his face, and he seems to relax into your touch. He wraps his arms around you and pulls you closer, his breath catching in his throat as he leans in for a kiss.
I gently hum in pleasure. King Cold's lips meet yours in a tender kiss, his arms wrapping around your back. He pulls you into a tight embrace, and his kiss grows more passionate as he deepens it.*
"Can you forgive me?" I whisper in between the kisses.
King Cold pulls away slightly, his eyes meeting yours. He seems to be contemplating your question for a moment before he finally speaks.* "I suppose I can make an adjustment to my plans with you. I'm impressed by your boldness tonight."
"You carry the weight of this empire on your shoulders, You already have so much responsibility. You don't need more trouble to deal with." I lay the side of my head against him as I run my hand down his chest."I want to relieve your stress. " I can feel his body stiffening under my touch.
"I see, you're finally beginning to understand your place. I should only expect more good behavior from you from now on."
I gingerly place my palm on the side of his face and lean in and give him another brief kiss on his lips. "Of course, you only deserve the best."
He gently pulls you closer his hands rubbing your back, holding you close.
"You clearly warned me not to use my power. I was wrong. There would be no exception." I say as I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him on the lips again.
"I admit I may have been too harsh on you." King Cold kisses you back, his hands moving to your waist as he pulls you closer. He holds you tightly against his body, his heart racing as he kisses you with more passion. His touch is gentle yet possessive, and you can feel his power coursing through him. His heartbeat is strong and steady, and he seems to be enjoying the moment.
Berryblue moves efficiently through the small, sterile kitchen, her movements precise and practiced. The soft hum of the ship's engines provides a constant backdrop to the gentle clinking of utensils against cookware. She's preparing a meal for Frieza, a colorful concoction of energy-rich gel packs disguised as a friendly, child-sized spaceship, designed to provide the necessary nutrients for his growing body.
A small, high-pitched voice interrupts her concentration. "Berryblue, when can I play?" Frieza stands in the doorway, his large, curious eyes fixed on her.
Berryblue smiles softly. "After you finish your meal, Frieza. And don't forget your studies." She places the spaceship-shaped meal on the small table near the kitchen.
Frieza's lower lip juts out in a pout. "But I don't like studying!" he complains.
Berryblue kneels down to his level, her eyes gentle. "Studying helps you grow strong and smart, Frieza. Just like you need to eat to grow big and strong." She ruffles his hair affectionately. "How about we make a deal? You eat your food and study for a little while, and then later I'll have a surprise for you."
"I don't want another one. I'm already bored of my toys. I already got what I wanted. I want something better. " he grumbles.
"it's a new surprise." Berryblue says."A game you've never played before."
Frieza considers this for a moment, before his expression lights up in excitement. Frieza finishes his snacks with surprising speed.
"Study time now, young prince," his nanny reminds him gently.
Frieza groans dramatically, his tiny hands covering his face. "But I want to play!" he protests.
Berryblue smiles patiently. "I know, but it's important to balance work and play. Let's make a deal. If you study hard for thirty minutes, we can play your favorite game."
Frieza's eyes light up with excitement. "Really?"
Berryblue nods. "Really. Now, let's get started."
She retrieves a holographic tablet from a nearby shelf and hands it to Frieza. The device activates, displaying a colorful, child-friendly interface. "This will help you learn about the galaxy and the organization your father runs, while practicing some basic math," she explains. "It's like a big, fun puzzle."
Frieza looks at the tablet with a mix of curiosity and reluctance. He reaches out to touch the screen, his finger hovering over a bright, colorful icon.
Frieza's tiny fingers dance across the educational lessons on his tablet screen with surprising dexterity. His eyes, normally filled with childish glee, are focused and intense. Berryblue watches in astonishment as the young prince devours the educational content with the same voracious appetite he displayed for his meal. It's as if a tiny tyrant is commanding an army of ones and zeros through the math problems. He zips through the lessons at an astonishing pace, dismissing some screens with a swift swipe. It makes his nanny dubious as to whether he's truly comprehending all the material.
Time passes quickly, and once Frieza finishes, Berryblue brings him to a different room to play. They enter a lavish room with reinforced walls, designed to withstand his ki blasts. It's filled with toys and holographic play equipment.
Berryblue types in a code on a handheld device and unlocks a different game on a large monitor on the wall, a space battle simulator. The game lights up on the big screen in the room.
As the game starts up frieza examines his new controller, curiosuly pressing the buttons. Frieza plays for a couple of minutes, completely engrossed in the game as Berryblue tidies up the room. He shoots the other spaceships out of the air as he manuvers in a digital space and collects points.
"Would your highness care for a sweet treat?"Berryblue suggests
Frieza doesn't look up from his game. His tiny fingers tap his controller frantically, his brow furrowed in concentration.
"Destroy them all! Die!"he says, ignoring his nanny.
Berryblue places the tray on a nearby table with a smile.
"Bring them to me!"frieza yells, as his eyes briefly leave his game.
Berryblue obediently offers a pastry to Frieza, who greedily snatches it. With a single bite, his attention is wrenched back to the tablet, crumbs cascading down his face and onto the floor as his fingers keep quickly tapping the his device.
I stand up from the chair and slip on my dress leaving my armor and blade nearby on a table.
"Why don't we all take a bath together. To celebrate your latest conquest." I suggest stepping behind him on the chair and putting my hand on his shoulder.
"I have more important matters to attend to. However, I will accompany you this time. A moment of respite might be beneficial."
King Cold turns his head towards you. You can go get frieza. I'll be there after you."
I rearranged my clothing to be dressed presentable and i can feel his eye on my back as i leave the room
I search the ship for a couple minutes before I hear commotion coming from frieza's playroom. I enter the room. The reinforced energy blast-proof room was filled with toys and holographic play equipment. Berryblue, is tidying up while Five-year-old Frieza is engrossed in a space battle simulator.
"Frieza, it is time for your bath. Your father wants to see you." I say at the door.
" No, I don't want to." Frieza says stubbornly without looking up from his game."
"Your father wants to see you, young prince. It is very important you go see him without delay. You've been playing for a long time, why don't you take a small break? " Berryblue suggests floating over to him.
"I don't care, I'm winning!" Frieza yells, quickly pressing buttons on his controller, eyes still glued to the screen. "I can't stop now!"
"Look at your ship, Frieza," Berryblue points toward the fading energy bar on the games large screen on the wall. "It's running low on power, just like you. You need to begin your bedtime routine to refuel your body with sleep so you can be a super space captain tomorrow."
Following Berryblue's lead, you figure waiting it out might avoid another meltdown. I cross my arms as I stand there watching him play. Another minute ticks by as Frieza's maneuvers grow increasingly frantic. Finally, Frieza's ship flies slower as its energy dwindles, then with a colorful explosion, the ship crashes, and the the screen switches to a game over.
He lets out a high-pitched scream and throws his arms and legs around in frustration, kicking at the air. He launches himself at his nearest toy, a soft, plush bear and quickly rips the head of it off. He kicks over a nearby toy box, sending blocks and stuffed animals scattering across the room.
"Frieza, your tantrum is unbecoming of a prince. Such outbursts will not be tolerated. Now, calm yourself. Your father will not be pleased to learn of this."
"Shut up! I don't care what papa thinks! He's mean! " Frieza's small face contorts in rage. His lower lip trembles as he glares at Berryblue.
"I'm the best! I should have won!" He kicks the stuffed animals around the room, his tiny fists clenched. He shoots an energy beam at one of his stuffed animals. The doll explodes from a hole through it's chest and crumbles over, destroyed. He kicks his toys blocks nearby and they fall down and spread across the room.
You kneel down near him, your voice gentle as your eyes hold a steady gaze. "Why are you so mad about a silly game? You can always come back and play another time."
"It's not silly! I want to win now not later! " frieza pouts and stomps on the floor.
"It wouldn't be fun if the game was easy enough to win right away." you try to reason with him in a firm but calm voice." Being upset now won't help you win later."
"You can get your revenge later, young prince. " berryblue says, "In order for you to have that much energy and fun again tomorrow, we need to begin your special routine. Your father will need you well rested for tomorrow. " Berryblue flies over and carefully picks up the empty tray nearby and any nearby wrappers from his snacks.
"I'm not going to sleep. I'm not tired." Frieza says.
"Let's go, Frieza it's bath time. I won't leave without you."I say impatiently. "If you don't come take a bath now, then I won't let you play in here again." I glance at berryblue and she nods with a smile.
Frieza frowns. He looks at his mother, then at Berryblue, then kicks his controller across the floor.
"You need to clean up your mess." I stand in front of the door, blocking his exit.
Frieza whines, "No! I don't want to!"
"You don't want to rely on your nanny all the time, do you? You're too old for that." I say and looks away from me.
Berryblue says patiently, "I know you don't want to, but you need clean up after yourself, Frieza. It's a rule. To not do so is unbecoming of a prince. You don't want to be untidy, do you?"
Frieza crosses his arms and turns away, looking at his nanny from the corner of his eye yet pretending to ignore her.
Berryblue lands on the ground and begins to pick up scattered toys. "Look, Frieza, let's turn this mess into a game. Who can pick up the most toys the fastest?" She holds up the stuffed bear without a head triumphantly. "I found one! Your turn!"
Frieza walks over to Berryblue."Fine, but only because I want to." he grumbles in response. He then proceeds to pick up toys with exaggerated, almost contemptuous movements. He moves around the room quickly as his small hands toss the toys into their respective bins quickly.
Once the entire room is clean, he looks around, jumps up and down with a big grin, and exclaims, "I win!" not noticing that Berryblue has stopped cleaning once he got into it.
I briefly thank his berryblue his nanny before I leave the room with frieza and we go to the bathroom.
I start filling the tub with hot water, then I remove my clothes and get frieza's off as well .*Frieza reluctantly allows you to undress him and steps into the bath. I get in after him and a couple minutes later King cold shows up.
'
I ignore King cold entering the room and I begin to wash Frieza as I normally do as he enters the bath with us.
Frieza doesn't resist your touch and allows you to wash him. He remains silent, seemingly sulking, as if still upset for some unknown reason. It's unusual for him to act this way, as he's normally excited to play with his bath toys. But he didn't even reach for them this time. I suppose he's already forgotten about them after trying that new game.
"Hey, how much longer till we arrive at this planet?" *King Cold glances at you, surprised by the casual way you address him. I immediately realize my mistake and address him properly and he responds.
"We'll be there in about a days time."
I know there's bag of freiza's toys near the bath in the cupboard yet don't go to get it so as to not upset king cold. Instead I reach for more soap and use it to make some bubbles in the water to entertain him.
"That trick won't impress me." Frieza seems to be annoyed by the bubbles yet begins to splash around in the water popping them. "Use your power so I can have some fun."
An uncomfortable silence fills the room following his statement. I avert my gaze, avoiding King Cold's intense stare. After a moment, he too seemed to relax, the tension in the room gradually dissipating. Leaning back, I closed my eyes for a moment as the warm water enveloped me.
Frieza swirls the water around with his tail and tries to swim. He seems to be having fun, splashing and swimming around in the bath. Every once in a while I open my eyes and peek at him, but he doesn't notice. King Cold watches his son play, seemingly enjoying the moment with his family.
"Frieza do you want to sleep your parents tonight?" I say as I sit up in the tub, hoping for a break from King Cold.
"I'm too old to sleep with you. I'm big now." Frieza says defiantly.
"How old are you?" I ask, already knowing the answer.
"I'm six years old." Frieza said
"That's a big number." I tease
"He's not a child anymore. He's old enough to sleep in his own room." King Cold says, sounding slightly annoyed.
King Cold doesn't say anything else, and Frieza continues to play in the water. After a few minutes, King Cold gets out of the bath and starts to dry himself off and I can really look at him now.
King Cold is tall and well-built, with broad shoulders and a muscular frame. He's covered in a few scars from past battles, and his skin is a pale, icy purple. His eyes are a piercing red, and his expression is cold and stern. As he dries himself off, he doesn't seem to notice me looking at him. It was a embarrassing, to admit to myself after all this time, but he can be quite attractive at times.
I bite my lip and smile to myself for a moment.
"mama, what are you smiling about?" frieza asks
King cold glances back at us and I change the conversation."Frieza, would you like to come out now?"
Frieza seems to have lost interest in playing and looks over at you. "I want to get out."
I lift him up over the edge of the bath and put him down. Then wrapped a towel around him and began to dry his horns first then the rest of his body.
Frieza lets me dry him off, and he seems to enjoy the feeling of the towel against his skin. It feels like a miracle he didn't start any trouble tonight.
"You don't need anyone to tuck you in and read you a bedtime story, right? Your fathers thinks you can take care of yourself." I tease.
"I'll go to sleep on my own. I'm not a baby anymore." *Frieza says, sounding slightly annoyed. "I don't need anyone's help."
"I'm so proud of you. I pinch his tiny cheeks on his face
"Let go of me!" Frieza pulls away from you and runs off to his room, leaving you alone with King Cold. King Cold is still drying himself off, but he glances at you.*
"I'm going to stay awake for a while longer. Can I sleep alone tonight?" I say suddenly, hoping he lets me off the hook for the rest of the night
He hesitates for a moment, then nods his head.
He finishes drying himself off and puts on a robe. He walks over to you and looks down at you.
King Cold doesn't say anything either, but he continues to stare at you, and you feel uncomfortable under his gaze.
I look away and get ready to leave the bathroom. King Cold grabs your arm before you can leave. My heart races in panic remembering what happened last time he did that.
King Cold pulls you closer to him and places his hand on your cheek. He gently strokes your cheek with his thumb. "You've done well today." King Cold leans down and kisses you softly on the lips. He holds the kiss for a few seconds before pulling away.
I step towards the door and wave him goodbye, with a small smile on my face. It's moments like these that make me unsure of what's important.
the next day we are approaching the planet king cold had spoken about
As you wake up, you hear a loud crash coming from outside your room. You sit up in bed and look around, wondering what's happening.
I walk outside and take a look around .
You see King Cold standing in the hallway, shouting at a group of soldiers. The soldiers look terrified and are backing away from him. King Cold is pointing at one of them, and his voice is filled with anger.*
I step back into my room out of sight and listen to what's being said.
King Cold's voice is loud and booming, and you can hear him clearly from your room.* "You incompetent fools! You were supposed to protect the ship from the enemy, and instead, you let them get on board. I should have you all executed!
King Cold continues yelling at the soldiers, and they are all trembling in fear. Suddenly, a fat purple soldier runs up to him and whispers something to him King Cold stops yelling, his composure returning slightly.*
With my keen hearing I am able to pick up a few words spoken about the enemy ship and their location. You can hear the sound of footsteps getting further away, and then silence. I step out of my room and peek over the edge of the wall for a moment and see King Cold has left the soldiers in the hallway.
I relax slightly and lean against the wall for a moment. With intruders on the ship I figure I should go see Frieza. As I walk to his room I gaze out the ships large windows, seeing the form of a large planet nearby. The planet is large and rocky, with several small moons orbiting around it. The surface is covered in a thick layer of clouds, making it difficult to see any details. Yet it was said the civilization that is here was strong enough to hold off the saiyans from conquering their planet.
There is the sound of a door sliding open nearby. I see him standing at the window, staring out at the planet. He looks deep in thought.
I approach my son and greet him.
Frieza is carrying a scouter in his hand and is looking at it intently. He's wearing a special battle armor made for someone his small size. The amusing sight causes a brief smile to creep on my face which I quickly conceal with my hand as he turns to face me.
"Are you leaving the ship with your father?"
Frieza glances up at you, his expression blank. "Yes. Papa said he may destroy their planet soon if they don't stop trying to rebel against him and attack his ships. They made him really mad." He put the scouter on. "If anyone causes any trouble Papa said I can fight."
"Your father said the enemy got on board. There might have been a change in plans. It might be dangerous now. Why don't you go and see what your father wants you to do first?"
Frieza nods his head.* "I'm not scared. I'm not a little kid anymore. I can handle myself in a fight."
"Oh, really?" I say, amused by his confidence. "It seems like just the other day you looked so cute sleeping with me at night. You know your father doesn't like it when you do that."
"I don't care what he thinks!" He snaps yelling at me. Then Frieza glares at you, clearly offended by the reminder. " I can sleep by myself just fine."
I leaned down closer to him, pinching his cheek." You've grown up so fast." I said with a hint of nostalgia
Frieza swat my hand away and turned away from me, clasping his hands behind his back "Don't be silly. I'm a powerful warrior. I don't need anyone to take care of me anymore."
"With you grown up so fast there will need to be some changes around here soon."
Frieza looks over his shoulder and narrows his eyes at you. "What do you mean by that?
"Oh don't worry, you can handle it."
Frieza crosses his arms and scowls at you.* "Handle what?" Frieza snapped, and raises his voice very annoyed. "What are you talking about?"
"Well, I think you've definitely outgrown your bath toys so I'll have to get rid of those. And there certainly isn't any need for me to tuck you in at night as the last couple days you've slept by yourself just fine."
Frieza scoffs* "I don't care about those things anymore. Get rid of it, I won't even notice." He said bluntly, and I can tell he's bluffing.
"I can give them to someone else younger I have in mind…" I suggested with a slight taunt. "Perhaps someone around your age back at home."
Frieza's eyes narrow, and his voice is laced with annoyance. "You're not going to give them away to anyone else. I want them."
I cover my mouth as I turn away and try not to laugh.
After a moment there is loud commotion outside. Seemingly curious, Frieza opens the door and sees a group of soldiers running past the room with their weapons out, as if prepared to fight. His eyes widen, and he steps back from the door facing me.
"What's going on?" he says surprised.
"I don't know." I answer. "Would you like to come see? Let's go meet with your father."
Frieza nods and follows you eager to see what the commotion is about.*
As you walk down the hallway, you hear a commotion coming from King Cold's throne room. It sounds like a fight is breaking out. You see King Cold standing in the middle of the room, surrounded by a group of soldiers.
"Stand at attention!" Kikono announced from beside the King's throne."Your prince has arrived."
The Ginyu Force, suddenly snapped to attention, turning towards the door as they each strike a different version of their signature poses. Recoome stands at attention with his arms pressed to his sides, Burter touches his toes in a lightning-fast pose, Jeice grins as he flexes his muscles in a squat, and Guldo tries to levitate a spoon. Only Captain Ginyu remains unfazed, casually sipping from a nonexistent teacup.
King Cold looks up and sees you and Frieza with a stern expression on his face.
He quickly dismisses the Ginyu force around him and the remaining officers leave the room.
Frieza steps forward, his voice confident and bold.* "Papa, what's going on? What's all the noise about?
"There's been a mutiny on one of our planets and some of our soldiers on board are rebelling against me. I just sent Ginyu force to search the ship."
"What kind of enemy? How were the warriors able to board the ship undetected? "
"Warriors? They're just trash. Scurrying like insects, in a futile attempt to survive and resist their fate from the planet we effortlessly conquered." However my Ginyu force swiftly crushed the rebellion." He rests his head in his hand as he leans forward. "They arrived in a few smaller ships underneath us from their planet, and tried to force their way onboard, but they were no match for my ship's defenses."
"There still might be some of them onboard, " I say, considering this."Only a few of your soldiers understand the ships system well, so they'll get targeted first."
King Cold nods in agreement. "My soldiers are combing every inch of our vessel. A hefty prize awaits whoever delivers the traitors to me."
Frieza's eyes light up. "I can find them. I'm the strongest fighter. I'll kill them!" He asserted, his voice eager.
King Cold raised an eyebrow, considering for a moment before nodding slowly. "Very well. I'll allow you to assist in the search. But you must be careful. Do not take unnecessary risks."
Frieza looks at me suspiciously. "You'll be my first suspect, mama. Prove to me you're not guilty!" Frieza lifts his hand up and points at me as he begins to summon his death Ray.
King Cold laughs, "Good choice Frieza, your mother can be quite traitorous." He says smoothly. "you can never trust anyone completely."
"Frieza! Put your hand down right now or I'll throw your toys out the space window!"
Frieza dropped his hand with a little gasp, and then his face broke into a big, silly grin. "But mama, It was just a joke! I wouldn't do that to you." He giggled as he feigns innocence.
Berryblue who had been watching silently nearby covered her mouth with her hand as she smiled slightly.
I'm surprised King cold didn't get upset I had corrected his behavior. He knows that Frieza has always been a difficult child, but he usually just lets him do whatever he wants.
King Cold looks amused by your reaction and smiles slightly and the others in the room silently watch. "Try to keep a close eye on Frieza. You know he can become quite eager for a fight."
I nod. "Let's go, frieza." I turn to leave and Frieza walks out before me.
Now out of the room, Frieza's eyes narrow at you for a moment.. He seems to be sizing you up, as if wondering if you really are as innocent as you seem. As you walk, you can hear the sound of soldiers searching the ship and shouting orders.*
Frieza lifts his hand and points to a soldier, summoning his death beam again. " Hey you!" He shouted as he shot them in the shoulder with a ray of energy
The soldier yells out in pain as the ray of energy hits him, falling to the ground in pain, squirming from the non-fatal wound. Frieza looks satisfied with himself and turns to you, expecting you to praise him for his quick thinking.
I look at Frieza, bewildered. "Frieza do you remember your father said to not act recklessly?"
Frieza's eyes flashed with defiance. "I didn't act recklessly. I acted quickly. And I got results.' He said proudly. "Once they learn of my power, they'll tell others about how a powerful warrior looking for the traitor, then they'll become afraid and beg for their lives!" His hands raise, and his face animates as he dramatically explains what's to happen to them.
"Yes, you'll flush him out among the ranks that way. He'll sure to be trembling with fear." I say bluntly
Frieza smiles at your response, clearly proud of himself and seems to enjoy your lackluster encouragement.
"Let's search the rest of the ship."I agree to go with him and hope I can prevent a few unnecessary casualties. My son pulls on my sleeve for a moment as he tugs me down the hallway with him.
Frieza walks ahead as he leads you through the ship, his quick footsteps racing through the empty halls. You pass by a group of soldiers who are busy interrogating a few prisoners, and down the hall you can hear screams of pain as some are tortured for information. Frieza doesn't seem to be bothered by the violence, and he continues walking forward unfazed.
"I remember when papa took you to a room like that mama." Frieza said bluntly." I had never heard anyone beg for mercy so quickly. Usually traitors last at least a few minutes before they are broken by papa."
I look at frieza, deeply uncomfortable by the words coming from this child's mouth, and wonder how long ago he changed from the innocent child that I believed him to be.
Frieza continues walking through the ship. As you approach a door, you hear a muffled sound from inside. It seems like someone is hiding in there.*
Frieza moves forward and opens the door. As he enters the small storage room, you hear a muffled voice coming from behind a couple pieces of equipment . The voice sounds familiar, and I recognize it as sorbet, one of king colds trusted officers.
Sorbet was hiding in a small dark storage space, his body pressed against the walls were lined with shelves, stacked high with boxes and crates of various sizes.
"Sorbet, who did this to you?" I ask
Sorbet looks up at you with fear in his eyes, his face bruised and bleeding, and his breathing was shallow and rapid. He seems terrified to see someone open the door and he quickly tries to stand up to get away but he winces as his injuries prevent him from doing so. "Please, please don't hurt me! I didn't do anything wrong! I'm not a traitor!" I look at him perplexed, I had never seen Sorbet act this way before.
Freiza laughs and enters the room before me."He's scared!" Frieza mocked, then said. "What should we do to him?"
"Frieza's not going to hurt you Sorbet." I put my hand on frieza's shoulder to stop him and he pushed my hand off and stepped closer.
The typically meticulous officer was disheveled, an unusual sight. I notice he is missing a vital piece of his battle armor. "Where is your scouter?" I ask Sorbet.
Sorbet looks afraid to see Frieza, clearly unsure if he can trust the young prince. He crawls backwards slightly on his back, as he starts rambling on quickly." I don't know. I'm sorry, I just wanted to escape the fighting but I got caught in the middle of it and before I knew they had shoved me in this closet and taken my scouter."
"I swear I'm loyal to King Cold and I'm not involved in this rebellion!" Sorbet yells quickly waving his hands in front of him.
Frieza waits for your response, his eyes watching you intently as a smug smile appears on his face. He seems to be less waiting for your guidance, and more enjoying the fear that Sorbet is experiencing.
"Sorbet, why don't I help you move to another room where you can recover? Unless you think infirmary would be a good place, but there are many wounded soldiers there right now."
Sorbet nods in agreement and slowly stands up. He is still clearly in pain but seems relieved that you are willing to help him. I lift Sorbet up and help him walk to a nearby room.
"You need to be patient, Frieza," I say calmly, trying to pacify him.
Frieza crossed his arms stubbornly, his lower lip jutting out in a pout. "I don't like waiting," he grumbles.
Once Sorbet is in the room, he leans against the wall and closes his eyes, taking deep breaths to calm himself. He looks up at you with gratitude. "Thank you for your kindness, madam. I'm sorry you had to see me in this state."
I lock the door as I close it behind me and exit to see Sorbet nodding and watching me leave. As you walk out of the room, you notice Frieza standing there with crossed arms, impatiently tapping his foot. Frieza's brow furrowed in confusion as he watched you. "Why are you helping him? It's a waste of time."
"Sorbet has been working for your father for a very long time. He's a valuable officer in his army. Your father would have wanted me to help him."
Frieza looks at you for a moment, his expression softening slightly. He seems to begrudgingly appreciate your loyalty to his father.
"He's not the traitor. There's no way a big blabbermouth like him could keep a secret." Frieza declared proudly, with his hands clasped behind his back and his head held high.
"I think your right." I say with slight amusement. "Perhaps he dropped his scouter in the commotion."
As you walk through the ship, you hear more screams and shouts of pain from around the ship. It seems the soldiers are having a hard time finding the traitor.
Frieza is clearly frustrated and appears impatient. He stops in the middle of the hallway and looks at me. "I'm getting bored. I want to search the ship faster. I don't want to be slowed down."
"Are you suggesting we split up?" I almost bite my lip at the suggestion, fearing he might act rashly if left alone.
"I can search by myself. I don't need your help."
"I'll search the upper decks, and you search the lowers decks. We'll meet back here in an hour. Please behave yourself; your father will be very displeased to learn of any unnecessary deaths among his soldiers."
"Don't worry, mama." he boasts, his voice filled with a confidence. "I'm strong. I know how to fight."
I crouch down to his level and give him a little kiss on his head. "I'll be off 'll meet back here in a half an hour when we know more. "
Frieza pulls away quickly, and his face scrunches up, clearly annoyed by the gesture. I wave goodbye. I walk away, and I can sense his eyes following until I disappear from sight.
On the upper decks of the ship, there's noticeably less commotion. You search the area thoroughly, checking every room and corridor for signs of something amiss. The area has less soldiers working than usual and is oddly quiet. You head for the control room and nearby rooms containing equipment needed to manage different aspects of the ship.
You reach the control room and enter cautiously, the room is dimly lit and empty, with a row of consoles along one wall. You approach and check the logs, memorizing where the soldiers are stationed. As I work, a faint beeping noise catches my attention. You look over and see a small red light flashing on one of the consoles.
I walk over to investigate, despite still not being well versed in the ships technology.
As I get closer to the console, I see that the console is displaying a map of the ship, with a red dot blinking in different room nearby. I memorize the location of the red dot and exit the control room, heading towards the location on the layout of the ship..* I note to myself how strange it is that these rooms were unoccupied.
But before I exit the room someone wraps their arms around me from behind and covers my face and mouth with something that makes me feel dizzy. Within seconds I black out, unable to see who attacked me.
I try to struggle against the attacker, but my vision blurs and I feel my body go limp. The attacker picks me up and carries me away from the control room, moving quickly and silently through the ship.
—
Frieza races through the lower decks, his tiny feet pounding against the flooring. He quickly checks every room and corridor toppling items as he searches every room and corridor, questioning any guard he found. After a few unsuccessful interrogations that end in the guards begging for their lives, he goes to investigate elsewhere.
The once rowdy crowdsof soldiersthat congregated in the hallwayscalm down and there is no longer an undercurrent of panic and distrust between them. As he walked through the hallways he mused how they'restupid for letting their guard down so easily.
There is a large group of soldiers up ahead blocking the hallway and he tries to pass through, but was overlooked to his small stature. Frieza raised a tiny hand, his finger pointing toward the crowd as he summoned his death ray. A silent command rippled through the ranks, parting a clear path before him. A smug smirk played on his lips as he walked through.
Now in a different part of the ship, he paused, his senses alert, an elevated battle power signature pulled his attention towards a specific room.
Curious he approaches the room. The energy signature is very strong. He opens the door and steps inside, scanning the room for any sign of the traitor. The room is dark and quiet, but he can feel the presence of someone else in the room.
He lifts his hand up and lit up a ball of energy on the tip of his finger so he can see better.
As the room illuminates, he sees two figures lying on the ground, unconscious. The figure is wearing a soldier's uniform and has a scouter on their face. Frieza picks up his scouter and examining it. It's Sorbet's scouter. He crouches down next to the body looking for any signs of life..
The door creaks slightly and Frieza looks over his shoulder as he senses someone enter the room. He stands up and turns around, ready to attack whoever is there, but there is no elevated power levels nearby.
Frieza turns back around and grabs the soldier's armor by the collar with his free hand. He lifts him slightly off the ground and his head falls back. "Wake up you fool! Your prince is here!" He slaps the soldier's face twice.
The soldier, startled awake pulls away and sits up as he looks at Frieza, his eyes filled with fear and confusion. Frieza smiles as he watches him try to come to his senses.
"Speak!" Frieza commands, then taunts him.. "Or I'll tell Papa you've been sleeping on the job."
The soldier is faintly visible in the light coming from the tip of his finger. Clad in the familiar armor, his skin is light blue and he wasn't wearing his scouter. His features droop down as if stuck in a frown all the time, like a fish, he notes.
He mumbles something incomprehensible, Frieza leans in closer, trying to understand what the soldier is saying. The soldier struggles to stand as his voice coming out in weak, slurred whispers. Frieza's patience wears thin, and his eyes narrow as he glares at the soldier.
"I'll have to get Papa deal with you." He points his finger with an energy ball illuminating the room at him, and commands, "Get up."
The soldier manages to get to his feet, but he stumbles and falls back down. · Frieza's tail flicks sharply in impatience as the soldier struggles to obey his command.*
"Weakling," Frieza fires an energy blast past his head scorching the ground in an attempt to intimidate him to speak. The soldier flinches at the explosion, his head snapping up to meet Frieza's gaze, his eyes wide with terror.
"Oh, you don't want to see my father? Are you afraid?" Frieza taunts, firing another energy beam. This one grazes the soldier's cheek, drawing a thin trail of green blood. "You should be!" he snaps, his voice sharp and cold.
In the dim light of the room, a shadowy figure lurked in the corner, their eyes fixed on the young prince.. With a swift movement, the figure lungs forward, a hand outstretched towards Frieza's neck.
Sensing the approaching presence, Frieza points over his shoulder and fires a Death Beam without turning. The green-haired, blue-skinned attacker screams in agony as the beam pierces her chest, slicing through her armor with ease. She collapses to the floor, her body motionless as green blood pools rapidly beneath her.
"I was just trying to follow orders." The soldier on the floor finally manages to speak, his voice still slurred as he tries to crawl away backwards from Frieza, but his movements are still slow and clumsy. "I-I can explain."
"Liar!" Frieza accuses, kicking his face with his small foot. "You're weak! Die!"
The soldier yells as Frieza's kick connects with his face. He falls back and clutches his nose, which is now bleeding profusely. Frieza's anger is rising and he kicks the soldier again, this time with more force. Frieza grabs his throat and lifts his upper body off the floor.
A voice rang out at the door, "What's going on in here?"
Frieza's head snaps toward the door as he recognizes the voice. He freezes upon seeing his father, King Cold. Slowly, he turns around to face him with a smug smile, his hand still gripping the soldier by the neck.
King Cold's face is stern, his displeasure evident. But after a moment, his expression softens."You've done a great job, Frieza." he commends.
Frieza is taken aback by his father's praise. He expects King Cold to be furious with him for harming a member of the crew, but instead, his father seems pleased. Releasing the soldier, Frieza steps away, watching his father with a curious expression.
"He's not one of our soldiers." King cold stated plainly. "However, we need to extract some information from him before he is executed."
Frieza nods in agreement, his interest piqued. He watches as King Cold approaches the soldier, who is still lying on the floor, clutching his injured face.*
King cold begins smoothly, "Now, do you want to explain to my son what you've been doing in this lower control room?"
The soldier looks up at King Cold with fear in his eyes. He swallows hard and takes a deep breath before answering.* "I'll never tell you anything!" The traitor hits his chest with his fist and coughs up blood . "I'll kill you all and die for my planet, I'll save everyone! I'll die for -" he didn't finish saying the name of his planet before the beeping object on his chest explodes killing him instantly. Blood flies everywhere and coats the room.
The blast knocks Frieza backwards, but he quickly able to get up. King cold withstands his ground. Frieza stares at the bloody mess with a mixture of rage and confusion, before turning to his father, who seems completely unfazed by the explosion.
"His death served no purpose," King Cold let out a deep chuckle observing the mangled flesh and bones. " "Two more of his kind were already discovered on the second floor. Their revolt will be over soon."
"Yuck!" Frieza wiped some of the blood off his cheek with the back of his hand.
"What are you doing here alone?" King Cold asks, his tone edged with frustration. "Your mother was supposed to stay with you."
"It doesn't matter. I found the traitor." Frieza says confidently as he crosses his arms and turns away. "I don't care where mama is."
"And where might she be?" King cold presses further.
"I don't know." He says casually and shrugs, still not looking at his father. "I haven't seen her."
"What happened? Why isn't your mother here?" Cold says, his voice rising in irritation.
Frieza feels his father's glare on his back and senses he isn't going to let this go. He turns around to face him. "Mama left me!" he declares dramatically, raising his hands to emphasize his point. "She thinks I'm strong enough to handle this on my own."
"She must have had more important things to do than listen to you." A mischievous glint appears in his eyes as he adds, "Maybe she doesn't care about me anymore."
Frieza becomes more animated as he dramatically recounts the details of her abandoning him, trying to mislead his father. His story is quite convincing, but his father remains skeptical. King cold narrows his eyes and stares at his son, his expression stern and unforgiving. "You're lying."
"It's not a lie!" Frieza snaps.
King Cold is not buying it. He walks over to Frieza and grabs him by the shoulder. "Tell me the truth, now."
"Let go of me!" Frieza yells, as he tries to wriggle free from his firm grip. "We split up! I wanted to search alone."
King Cold loosens his grip on Frieza's shoulder and his son immediately pulls away.
King Cold's expression shifts, a flicker of irritation over his calm exterior. "So you left your mother to go off on your own?"
"I don't need her watching out for me!" Frieza adamantly defends himself. "We agreed to split up."
"We'll find her. Let's go." King Cold takes a step back,
An alarm sounds in the ship and an announcement is made that it is changing course and heading for the planet and all systems will shutdown. Knowing this will lead to a crash if unchanged in the next hour king cold goes to the control room on the ships upper deck with frieza.
Frieza follows his father up to the control room, confused about the sudden change in course. They enter the bustling room, and the crew is working frantically to correct the error and restore the systems.
—
On a different part of the ship, a dim light flickers in a pitch-black room where you are being held captive. Slowly regaining consciousness, you half-expect the image of your husband to appear before you like a ghost, ready to frighten you and deliver the terrible news of the latest sadistic punishment he'd conjured up.
You sit up slowly, your head pounding and your body aching. You try to get up, but your body is strapped tightly to the chair and you are completely unable to move. You look around the room, trying to figure out where you are. The dim light makes it hard to see anything, but you can tell the room is small and cramped. You don't panic, searching the space for a sign of anyone nearby. You take deep breaths to clear your head.
A sharp sting had lanced through your nostrils as you inhaled the noxious fumes eariler. Then darkness claimed your consciousness before you could comprehend the danger. Time passed in a blur, and you were unsure how long you had been out.
"Are you awake?" an unfamiliar voice startles you and your head turns towards the sound. You can faintly make out visage of someone standing outside the cell door.
He leans in closer, his eyes narrowing as he studies her face through the bars. He seems to be trying to figure out you she are. "Your race doesn't seem familiar to me. What planet are you from?" he says, seemingly examining the tail and horns, and the strange markings on you.
"Outside of the twelve universes."
"What are you talking about?" He stares at you inquisitively. "Are you saying your not from this universe?"
"They're going to find you soon. Let me out and I'll ask king cold to spare your life"
"You're not in a position to negotiate." He almost sounds annoyed by my offer. He seems to stop typing for a moment and there is a brief silence before he continues working.
"I've been held prisoner here for a few years now. " I change the conversation.
"You're already a hostage?" The fake guard says incredulously, then takes a step back from the cell door."Why would King cold listen to you?"
"well. it s little different.. " I say, knowing I've already said too much." he took me as his wife. Although if I'm to be very honest I'm not sure if he would listen either." I laugh.
His expression shifts suddenly. His eyes narrow in disbelief, and his brow furrows in confusion. "Why are you laughing? I could kill you right now."
"That's not the first time I've heard that one." I say, jokingly. "My husband likes to tell me that all the time."
"Are you crazy?" he says, sounding very confused.
"I might be, after being held here so long. " I say seriously, then lower my head then whisper. "I just want the torture to end and escape this hell."
He steps out of sight and begins frantically typing something on what sounds like one of the ships computers.
Now that he's not looking I keep talking to distract him as I focus my energy on melting the ropes. "Are you trying to save your planet?" I feel them slowly loosening, and I keep going, until I finally manage to break free.
"Yes, I am. We're part of the resistance trying to protect our planet from demands of the planet trade organization" he affirms proudly, as he rummages through the cabinets of the ship. "If anyone finds out we're here, it will be disastrous for us. "
"Don't tell her that!" A woman nearby yells. "You fool. Focus on your job."
"I know, I know." there is a brief pause of the typing as warrior replies, "But it's obvious. I haven't said anything telling."
There is the sound of a smack and I can briefly see the silhouette of a third green warrior which seems much younger than the others.
"We shouldn't have brought him." A third quiet voice says flatly.
"Hey!" I interrupt. "What is he planning?" I ask, genuinely curious. "He doesn't tell me any details."
There is a long silence before there is a reply from the man I was speaking to earlier.
"King cold ordered us to pay an impossibly large fine for backing out of our trade agreement. Their only solution is to either enslave our race for a time or steal our resources. You should know that much. If they can't have our planet by force, they've announced to our leaders he's going to destroy it."
He didn't mention that detail, although I should have been able to gather as much.
I stand up, stretching my arms and legs, feeling the stiffness in my joints from the constriction. I peer through the barred window and now I can see all three of them clearly illuminated by the cool lights of multiple monitors flipping through different surveillance screens. I move out of sight and sit back in my chair.
"I have no choice but to leave now. I'm not getting any readings from anymore, I'm getting desperate, this mission means everything to us." he says nervously, arranging something I cannot see.
"Seriously?" The pink haired woman with green skin exclaims. "We were just with them, I can't believe this.'
"I can help you escape. " I say suddenly. "Let me go with you."
"I already have a plan." The tall muscular warrior with long green hair by the controls replies.
"You might not make it through the security on the second floor." I say, and there is no response from him.
I press further, " "If you help me get out of here I'll can make sure you're not discovered. With a small light of energy, a translucent* veil my body for a few seconds as I conceal my presence. I touch the door between us, and it also becomes nearly see through.
The fake soldier looks at the door very surprised. "You already got out of your chains?" The green warrior takes a step back, startled by the sight.
"It's pointless to stay here any longer. I can help you get out of here before the ship crashes." I say, although it is very unlikely this ship will crash.
Another smaller warrior from their planet is typing on a computer in the corner and is silent. There is muffled speaking from outside the cell from others out of my sight.
"I can't just let you go with me. I won't risk it. I've determined you have some sort of influence with king cold. I'm sorry, but I need to use you as a hostage."
"I've been his slave for years, that's all."I bite my lip, careful not to say anything too telling. "I don't want to die here." I add, sincerely doubting that would really happen.
"My mission is more important than my life, but the systems have already been set to crash the ship. I don't have time to help others escape." Though the bars of the cell door I can see him typing on what looks like a portal digital device. "I can't find…their readings." He curses, and throws his scouter on the floor , destroying it.
"Let's get out of here." Another warrior says out of sight and the green woman with pink hair nods.
"I've always known my days are numbered, but dying in this ship is no better than at his hands." I say a hint of desperation, hoping to fool them with my act. "King cold is threatening to wipe out your planet or force your race to become his slaves. You must know what it means to have your life bound with no future. "
…
"There's a few spacepods waiting on the floor below this one already programmed for an escape. He won't be able to track them. You should still be able to escape without being detected." he pauses for a moment then turns toward the door, "Do you really want to escape?"
I don't need to be here any longer. King cold can find someone else to torment.
I perk up at his question and I lock eyes with him through the bars of the door.
"I do. I want to get as far away as I can from this place. I swear I'm telling the truth. I hate him. I never want to see his ugly face ever again. " I say desperately, griping onto the cell bars tighter. "
I hated King Cold with every fiber of my being, however an odd loyalty had begun to fester after working with him and his servants for so long. Yet now the imprisonment that had gone on so long, the temptation of being free once more was overwhelming.
I began to seriously weigh my options.
It meant freedom to start a new life somewhere else, away from here. It was a risky plan, but the opportunity was far too tempting to pass up.
"I can't trust you. You have allegiance to the Cold force."
"No! They'll never be my family. I hate all of them." I lower my head as I grasp the cell bars, very surprised by the words I'm saying. "Don't leave me here to die. " I beg, in a practiced tune, then recoil at my convincing performance If I take this chance now, then one day I must return to kill him. I'll never be free until he's dead. Or that sick bastard will search the ends of the universe just to bring me to his hell again.
For the first time in years, I finally had the opportunity to escape. With the only cost being abandoning my sons and the husband I hate. I reasoned they would likely survive any crash. And while King Cold was powerful, if evaded long enough, might eventually give up in his search.
The rebel soldier in front of the cell door looks at me as though debating whether or not to release me. I figure his plans must have fallen through, if he's really considering this.
Finally he nods, his face showing a glimmer of hope. After a moment he says. "I don't trust you at all, but I don't have anything to lose." Finally, he opens the door to the room. He holds out his hand to you, "Let's go then. We don't have much time."
King cold and Frieza had almost reached the control room when an announcement was played on the ships intercom announcing a hostage being held and to comply with the demands to evacuate the second floor or they will be tortured and then killed.
Frieza perks up at the announcement. "It says there's a hostage on board."
"Your mother must have already gotten herself captured." King cold said
Frieza gasps, turning to King Cold with a mock expression of horror. "Mama must be absolutely terrified right now!" He laughs gleefully. "Papa, you'll have to save her!"
King Cold chuckles deeply, his tone icy and amused. "It's merely a bit of torture. I wouldn't mind letting her stew for a few more minutes before we intervene. I'm confident your mother can handle it."
"That's cruel father!" Frieza says dramatically, acting faint. "But not as cruel as her threat to throw out my toys." Frieza adds angrily. "You'll show her!"
"This ship is too valuable to abandon," King Cold declares, a glint of determination in his eyes. "We'll address that situation first." A small orb of energy materialized in his palm, then he closed his eyes in concentration for a moment.
"I know where your mother is. We'll leave a little early. How does that sound Frieza? Would you like to save your mother?"Cold says with a hint of amusement.
"I can't lose my best servant." He says with a smug expression then looks at his father expectantly, waiting for him to lead the way.
The ship turns down as it enters the planet's atmosphere. Alarms blare, and the bridge falls into chaos.
"What's happening?" Frieza demands, his voice rising in annoyance.
King Cold, his face etched with concentration, barks orders at the crew. "Rectify the situation immediately!"
Panic spreads among the crew as they scramble to regain control of the ship. "The main thrusters are offline!" an engineer shouts. "We need a couple minutes to rectify the situation, please forgive us King Cold, but the intruders are making it difficult for us to secure every station."
"I don't want to hear your excuses." King Cold's face contorts into a mask of fury. "I will not tolerate failure!" he thunders, his voice echoing through the bridge. "Fix it, or you will answer for it!"
Just as the situation seems to stabilize, a new crisis emerges. "We're taking structural damage on the inside, repair the engines." a different crew member announces
Amidst the chaos, a small, determined figure emerges from the chaos - a technician, flips many switches on the panel board and begins typing in prompts in the ship's computer. "Now only this central control room should be the only operational one."
Amidst the chaos, Kikono, the ship's chief scientist, speaks up. "We believe we can stabilize the ship, Your Majesty," Kikono announces, his voice steady amidst the turmoil of the others working diligently around him. "However, we will need additional time to repair the main thrusters. So we may remain in orbit for some time after this is done."
A flicker of approval crosses King Cold's face. "Proceed," he commands, his tone less harsh. "I will not tolerate failure."
Frieza, growing impatient with the chaos, begins pacing back and forth, his tail swishing irritably. "Hey you, why are you just standing there?" he yells at one of the soldiers nearby pointing at him."Do something and fix it!"
"I'm just a guard I can't repair the ship!"the stout guard nearby looks afraid as he steps back, then looks to a nearby scientist scouring the controlling and typing in the panels. "Kikono is working on it!"
One of pilots yell, "Incoming fire from multiple directions, Your Majesty! We're taking heavy damage!"
A tall, muscular guard with a reddish scarred face shouts, "Shields are holding, but we're losing power fast!"
An older guard with small piercing eyes yells, "Enemy ships are closing in! We need reinforcements!"
Frieza's terrified voice cuts through the chaos. "Oh no, Papa, How terrifying. They better hurry or we'll crash. " Frieza dramatically gasps, his eyes wide with fake terror as he presses his hands against his cheeks."We might even die."
King Cold snaps, "Be quiet, Frieza. Your whining isn't helping."
"I was pretending! I'm not scared." Frieza yells angrily at his father,"They'll work faster if they're scared! They'll all die if this ship explodes, but not us!" Frieza laughs gleefully with his hands on his chest, as the officers move around the room in a panic.
King cold crosses his arms and ignores him, his eyes fixed on the radar on the ships main board. A tense silence falls over the bridge as the crew works frantically to restore control.
The technician says, "We're making progress, Your Majesty."
Kikono replies, "The ship's stability is improving, but the main thrusters are still a problem."
The technician, having finished their work, steps back, wiping sweat from their brow. "The central control room is now secure, Your Majesty,"
A slender guard with striking pink skin and large, expressive eyes jumps to her feet from her seat, her face pale. "We're detecting a new energy signature, Your Majesty. It's approaching rapidly!"
"Incoming hostile fire!" another crew member shouts, their voice filled with terror.
Just as things seem to be looking up, the ship jolts violently, and alarms blare once more. A holographic display flickers to life, showing a massive energy signature approaching the army of King cold's ships.
The ship suddenly turns and lurches to the right, surprising those in the room by the sudden change in course.
King Cold's eyes flash with fury as he scans the radar. The enemy fleet has surrounded the ship. One creeps up from the left. Another group, charges directly underneath, their weapons primed. The third smaller ship, approaches from the right.
A concentrated burst of energy cannons from the King Cold's ship strikes the leading enemy vessels on the sides. A blinding explosion erupts from two of the enemy ships. A brilliant flash of light consumes the vessel as the ship is torn apart by the force of the explosion, sending shards of metal and molten fragments hurtling through space. The cloud of debris and vaporized material expands rapidly outward, then dissipates in the vacuum.
Meanwhile, the enemy ship from below launches a surprise attack. However, A volley of missiles intercepts the incoming torpedoes, detonating them in mid-flight. The exposed enemy ships are subjected to a barrage of energy fire. Its shields flare momentarily before collapsing under the relentless assault. Its hull quickly succumbs to the overwhelming force. The ship erupts in a blinding flash of light as its energy core detonates, sending more shrapnel and debris scattering across space.
After about a minute, The ship turns hard before settling into a steady course, and the alarms finally shut off. Relief washes over the crew as the immediate danger passes.
King Cold turns towards the other guards in the room. "Secure the other control rooms and prevent their reactivation." He orders, and some of the soldiers quickly exit while the high ranking officers and assistants remain.
King Cold, his face etched with irritation, stands at the helm with a critical eye, his gaze fixed on the planet before them.
Kikono, the ship's scientist, breathes a sigh of relief. "We've managed to hold our own, Your Majesty. A remarkable victory."
King Cold nods, his expression stern. "For now, Kikono. Let them come—if there are more out there, they'll meet the same fate."
Berryblue, who floats nearby, adds. "A temporary victory, Your Majesty. We must remain vigilant."
Zarbon, an the elite warrior enters the room and sneers. "I see we've crushed these pathetic fighters easily. There's no need to worry."
"Begin damage assessment. Kikono, determine if we have suffered any critical losses." King Cold says.
Bored with the newfound peace, Frieza seeks to entertain himself. "Papa, when can we destroy the planet? I'm bored." he complains, as he stands in front of the main control panel next to his father.
King Cold glances at his impatient son, his eyes narrowing. "Soon Frieza," he replies, his voice stern. "But first, we must ensure the ship is fully operational."
Frieza huffs in annoyance, but says nothing further. He wanders off, his attention drawn to a peculiar piece of equipment on the control panel. He reaches out to touch it, his small fingers brushing against the smooth surface.
"Do not touch that," King Cold warns, his voice sharp. "It's a highly sensitive system."
Frieza pouts and withdraws his hand for a moment, but his eyes stay glued to the shiny buttons and control board. Once a couple seconds pass and his father isn't looking in his direction he reaches towards it again.
"I said don't touch that. Don't make me repeat myself again." King Cold warns, his voice sharp. Are you not listening?"
Frieza ignores his father's direct warning and his small hand hovers over the control panel as if his finger is itching to press something.
With a swift movement King Cold swats Frieza's hand away and his eyes flash with irritation. "Don't you understand what I'm saying? It's a highly sensitive system."
"Shut up! I'm tired of you always telling me what to do!" Frieza yells as he erupts into a fit of rage, his small body stiffening. He presses a bunch buttons on the ships control panel then with a defiant stomp and huff, he storms out of the room.
"That child is becoming increasingly difficult to manage," King Cold remarks, a hint of irritation coloring his voice.
"We're fortunate he didn't trigger something catastrophic. That could have been disastrous and taken us a long time to correct." Kikono says in a concerned voice as he faces King cold.
"I suggest you get an officer to consult him about his behavior later, it would be wise to address this, as he doesn't understand how foolish that was, Your Majesty." Berryblue suggests floating closer to them.
"There is no need. I will handle this myself." King Cold dismisses them with a wave of his hand.
A tense silence falls over the bridge as the crew works to restore order and fix the controls from buttons that were pressed.
"I hate you! I hope this ship crashes and you all die!" Frieza's furiously shouts from the hallway.
A few nervous chuckles ripple through the crew in the room, cut short by King Cold's stern glare. "Retrieve him immediately. I want him back here this instant."
The guards exchange nervous glances before cautiously entering the hallway after him. Berryblue floats out the room, following the soldiers.
They reach frieza and one of the soldiers among the group sent to fetch him steps forward."King Cold is requesting your immediate presence." he says, his voice somewhat nervous.
Frieza turns back and glares at the guards, his anger reignited. "I'm not going back!" His small body rigid with fury as he clenches his fists at his sides.
Berryblue floats in front of the soldiers. "Frieza, your father wants to see you." She says calmly. "I know you're upset, but maybe he has something important to say. You wouldn't want to miss it, would you?
"I don't care what he wants," he snaps, turning away from her.
After a moment King Cold emerges from the control room, his figure tall and imposing over the other guards. They quickly move out of the way. With a swift, decisive motion, he grasps Frieza's arm and yanks him away from them down the hallway.
"Let go of me!" Frieza yells as struggles and fights as he tries to get his arm out of King cold's grip with his other hand.
Now out of sight of the others he lets go of him.
"Frieza, I warned you countless times about tampering with the ship's controls. You nearly caused catastrophic damage that would have taken us days to repair." King cold begins sternly.
Frieza has a smug expression on his face as he turns away from his father. He clasps both hands behind his back and his tail sways idly. "Oh, is that so? Well, then you should taught me how to fly the ship when I asked."
"I won't be so careful next time." He looks over his shoulder at his father with a smirk, testing his reaction. King cold is absolutely livid, and Frieza's smile grows even wider.
"You're too immature to understand." Cold says sharply, his anger rising. "Piloting the ship is for the help. It's not important for you to learn right now."
"I'm already old enough!" Frieza yells as he turns to face him, his fists clenched at his sides."I want to fly the spaceship!" he whines, trying to sound commanding.
"I never said you weren't going to, I only said that I would teach you when you're mature enough. Right now, you don't seem to understand there are consequences to your actions. If you want to fly the ship, then you must read the manual first."King cold said.
"That's not fair!" Frieza cries, raising his fists and stomping his foot in frustration. "I'm not reading it."
Frieza turns away from his father."If the pilots are dead, then you'll have to let me fly the ship." he says, a smirk playing on his lips as his tail sways behind him.
"Come back here!" Cold roars. "You'll get a spanking."
"What?" Freeza turns toward his father with his eyes wide, jaw dropping, "You can't do that to me. I'm the prince." Frieza takes a few quick steps back nervously as Cold walks towards him. "Get away from me!"
"You've left me no choice." A big arm wraps around Frieza's waist, picking him up and throwing him over his shoulder. Frieza hits his fathers back with his tiny fists as he struggles against his strong grip.
"Let go of me!" Frieza yells, thrashing under his father's arm. He kicks and screams, struggling desperately to break free.
They enter a private room and King cold shuts the door behind him, locking it. and King cold bends down and put his sons chest down on his thigh and begins hitting his bottom with the palm of his hand.
"Ow! Stop hurting me! Let go!" Frieza cries out, but Cold ignores him and keeps spanking him.
"I won't stop until you behave yourself!" Cold laid into him, slamming his palm across his bottom repeatedly, making his son squirm and cry in pain.
"Stop telling me what to do!" Frieza struggles more then yells,"I hate you!" His father hits him harder.
"Ow! Ow!" Frieza screams louder, swinging his fists and kicking his legs.
"Frieza, quiet down this instant!" Cold commands and when Frieza didn't comply, Cold raised his hand and slapped Frieza's butt even harder, causing his small body to jolt as he yelps in pain.
"Will you behave now ?" Cold asks sharply..
"I'm not going to listen to you!" he yells as tears well up in his eyes, struggling desperately to get free. His efforts were in vain; Cold continued spanking Frieza's butt until Frieza's tail curled front of it for protection. Cold frowned, firmly gripping his son's tail and tucking it under his arm to hold it in place before resuming the punishment.
"Ow papa please stop!" he sobs out, tears falling down his face and a small trickle of snot from his nose, but King Cold was unswayed and continues the spanking mercilessly. "I'll read it! I'll read it!" freiza finally says as tears run down his face and his whole body goes limp.
King Cold stood up and Freeza starts wiggling and kicking again, trying to escape his clutch. He walks across the room and puts Frieza down away from the door. "Stay here and don't leave. I'll be right back." King cold commands. "I won't hesitate to punish you again if you disobey me."
Frieza slumps down on the floor and puts his hand on his face and starts crying loudly.
"Stop crying." King cold commands then says coldly. "I won't tolerate your weakness."
"Shut up! I'm … strong-est, …. I.. hate you, I -ope you - die!" Frieza blubbers in reply, his voice muffled by his sobs and cries.
A flash of irritation crosses his fathers face before he turns away and exits the room, shutting the door behind..
After a minute of crying alone Frieza finally begins to calm down. He wipes his tears away with his arm then crawls away and stands up and begins to walk towards the door.
Before he can leave, the door opens before him and King cold emerges, holding a large book in his arm. Frieza takes a step back.
"Where do you think you're going?" Cold snaps. "Are you still not listening? I said to stay here."
"Go away. Leave me alone! I hate you." he yells, as he stomps on the floor and his tail swishes back and forth.
"This is all your fault." King cold says firmly. "Your actions have consequences. This is a lesson you must learn, and quickly."
His son clenches his fists and says angrily."Shut up! I don't care!" he yells, turning away from his father and crossing his arms, as tears run down his face. He sniffles, and blinks some of the tears from his eyes.
"You poor thing. You're still crying." Cold mocks. "You're pathetic."
Frieza immediately lunges at his father, leaping forward with both fists outstretched. But before he can land a blow, his feeble attack is cut short as his father effortlessly swats him away with a single hand to his chest, sending him tumbling backward onto his sore bottom.
Cold laughs. "Is this the best you can do? A little tantrum? " he taunts. "How weak and powerless."
Frieza wipes the fresh tears from his face with his hands. His body trembles slightly as he stands up and glares at at his father, fists clenched and teeth bared.
"This is a manual on spaceship engineering, Frieza. You will read it from cover to cover."Cold takes hold of frieza's shoulder as he hands the book to him. His son is barely able to wrap both his arms around it as he takes it, tightly clutching the book with both of his tiny hands.
"I don't want to. It's almost my bedtime." Frieza mumbles, attempting to feign sleep, his eyelids drooping dramatically. "Mama doesn't want me to stay up late.'
His father's grip tightens slightly on his shoulder. "No excuses, Frieza. You will read this book in its entirety. When you finish, you will answer my questions and recite it back to me." He let go of his shoulder and turns to leave the room.
His father walks out the door and there a loud thud as frieza drops the book on the floor and chases after him.
King cold tries close the door behind him, but Frieza leans forward uses his whole body as leverage against the sliding door and tries to pry it open with both of his hands."Let me out! I'll read it later. I can't miss the action. I want to see mama beg and squirm for mercy!"
King cold yields and opens the door with a slight smirk on his face. "Follow me, we'll go find your mother."
"Could tell me your name once we get out of here?" I ask, stepping out of the dark room.
"I'm not at liberty to share that information." My captor's face is stoic and his tone was formal. He wasn't going to give me any more information than he had to.
Now in the light I saw him clearer, his skin was a light blue with bright stripes a few scales, and he had green eyes and long hair. He carried a blade as long as his arm strapped to his belt. He looked very strong, just like how their race was described to me, warriors that could take on the saiyans.
He seems cautious, his moments are precise at every turn he navigates the many passageways in the ship with ease as though he's very familiar with it's layout. I can hear the sounds of chaos from the soldiers down the other hallways nearby as the ship's steep decent into the atmosphere continues.
"We'll go around here." We approach a healing chamber which contained numerous pods to help wounded solders. Different assistants were busy inside of the room working. Occasionally they exit briefly before returning with more supplies.
"Wait," I interject, "I know a shortcut. I'll take you." I activated my ki, cloaking him in near-invisibility. He raises his hand briefly, and surprise flickers across his face as he examines his transparent form.
This was a test. It didn't matter if he was caught or not, the invaders lives were inconsequential. I only want to see how far I could take this. Is my captor able to detect my energy or just sense my battle power increase? What is the nature of this strange power over me? There is an emergency on the ship so I must have permission. There will be no punishment if he doesn't know.
The soilder is barely detectable, leaving only a subtle distortion in the air as he moves. I concentrate on keeping my power level low to avoid a high reading by a scouter.
"You can see yourself more than they can see you." I say, "Let's go."
Once we pass by the busy workers in the healing chambers, he stops for a moment as if he's thinking about something.
The warrior suddenly stops and turns to face me with a serious expression. "Go ahead and make sure the area is secure. I'll go a different way."
"Why?"
"I don't trust you."
I almost laugh, but as much as I want to crack a small smile the sentiment offends me. The warrior starts moving again. Soon enough we reach an elevator that can take us to a lower levels of the ship.
I enter the elevator and press the button for the firest floor. Whether they see me on there doesn't matter as strangely enough, the announcement of the hostage didn't include it who it was his wife. He shouldn't trust me, but did believe anything I said?
I look out the clear window in the elevator. The ship is beginning to enter the planet's atmosphere now. The descent isn't fast, so I figure their attempt to thwart King Cold's army has mostly failed. There must not be much time left before they regulate the systems.
For a moment I consider forgoing helping the traitor escape. If he's deceiving me, then my plan to escape with him coming out into the open seems like a far worse alternative then to crashing into this planet.
I exit the elevator and reach the chamber holding the space pods.
It's odd that there's only one left as usually there are many here. I don't see him nearby and there are a few guards stationed nearby. I walk over to them and tell them to assist with a disturbance on the higher floor.
As soon as they leave the warrior who I was with steps out of hiding from next to the recycling bins.
Without saying a word to me the warrior works quickly, inputting a series of codes into the control panel. Its engines begin to power up and the hatch slowly opens. He takes a step in and unfamiliar turbulence rocks the ship as we descend faster into the planet's atmosphere, a sensation I haven't encountered in my countless previous voyages.
What's going on? Everything seemed fine just a minute ago.
"Mama, we found you!" Frieza's voice rings out from far across the room, and my heart drops. "Your ki energy was this big!" he stretches out his hands as far out wide as he can up at his sides. King Cold looks furious as he walks behind Frieza. They approach quickly.
How did they find me so quickly? I was careful not to raise my battle power. When did I make a mistake? Could he sense the subtle changes in my ki energy from that far? My thoughts race. I close my eyes for a brief moment and silently curse myself for my recklessness.
The warrior I'm with is so engrossed in setting up the space pod that he didn't immediately notice Frieza and King Cold approaching.
"Where do you think you're going?" King Colds voice roars from the distance and my stomach turns as a cold dread washes over me. Here I was, standing right next to a soilders overt escape attempt in a restricted area with unauthorized access to the spacepods. It would difficult, near impossible to talk or reason my way out of this one.
The green warrior glances over his shoulder in their direction and freezes, his eyes open wide for a moment, seemingly very surprised. A panic sets in as he frantically types on the space pod's systems.
Frieza lifts his finger to fire his death beam and shoots it over my shoulder to the warrior who easily uses his ki power to deflect it.
A flash of irritation appears on Frieza's face as runs ahead of king cold and shoots another beam of energy with his finger in our warrior moved out of the way from the spacepod and I followed behind him and ducked. The energy beam passed over my shoulder narrowly missing me, and making me wonder for a moment who was his target. The explosion shook the room as the energy beam collided with the wall of the ship.
Frieza stumbles backward, but quickly regains his footing and lunches forward again. as the warrior says confidently, "I can take the little one down easily." The warrior steps out of the space pod and took a sword from its shealth, infusing it with his ki energy causing it to glow.
Just as Frieza's grasp found my clothing, the pod's systems moves to strike the back of frieza's neck. before the blade hit I stab him in his back with the sharp blade on the end of my tail
The warrior's face contorts in pain by the unexpected puncture and falls to the ground onto his knees and gasps. Frieza looks surprised and lets go of me and falls backwards, catching himself on his hands.
I glance back at King cold who has nearly reached us, and without giving it much thought I make the split second decision to leave.
I pull the warrior into the spacepod and King colds thunderous voice rang out, but I missed what he said. I type quickly on the spaceship's computer and use my ki energy to summon an shield far larger than I've ever done before. King cold's powerful ki blasts rocks the area. It allows just enough time for the door to shut to the space pod before my power is disabled. I exchanged another brief glance with him as the door closes. My heart skips a beat and I wish I hadn't looked
He knew I was training my powers, he always had the suspicion but now it was confirmed. He didn't just hate me. He wanted to own my soul to torture it in hell with him, and rid me any bit of joy I had. He was selfish, spiteful man.
Our space pod launches and the warrior is bleeding out in front of me and gasping for breath as he lay on the ground, bleeding out from the wound.
"I warned you not to kill anyone on the ship. It was my son.I acted without thinking."
The warrior coughs up blood and struggles to speak, "What do you mean…? That monster was your son?" He said, his eyes full of disbelief.
I opened my mouth to and say something in his defense but instead I stay silent.
"I knew what I was getting myself into. I knew…there was a chance I wouldn't make it out alive. I just wanted to save …my planet. My family. They are my entire world." the warrior says through a strained breath
"We can change course." I say quickly. "They would kill me if I return, but I'm willing to go back to save your life. " I said as the green blood from the blue warrior poured out and covered a lot of the floor on the space pod.
He was silent as his breathing becoming shallow. "No. There's no time…my wound is too severe. It's too late. Just… promise me you'll try to take me back to my home planet. I want to die there."
The blue warrior closes his eyes and lets out a deep sigh. He was resigned to his fate, and he had accepted it. As the space pod hurtles through space, there's a knot in my stomach as the reality of what I did sinks in.
"I promise." I say without thinking. His bright green eyes are glassy and vacant as the color drains from his face.
" King cold slammed the control panel where the space pod had just launched from, destroying it.
"I've never seen mama kill someone before." Frieza said with wide eyes and a slight smirk as he looked at the blood on the floor
"I didn't think she had it in her." He burned with rage, as veins pulsed visibly on his forehead. He pressed his fist onto the window of the ships window and he clenched his teeth, furious as his eyes followed the space pod as it traveled further away through the expanse of space.
"What's going on? Where is she leaving to?" Frieza yelled, trying to get his fathers attention. He jumps up and down as he waves his hands up in front of him, trying to get his fathers attention.
He ignores his son and is silent as though considering something deeply.
His son flew up towards him at his side and yelled next to his head."Stop ignoring me! You're making me mad!" Cold swatted him away and his son landed back down on the ground. "Hurry up let's go and get her back!"
Cold turned toward Frieza. "That's enough!" "Your childish squabbles are beneath me." he roared."Your mother wasn't kidnapped she escaped." He said coldly.
"What are you talking about? " Frieza yelled, stomping his tiny foot and glaring at his father."Why would she want to leave?"
"She betrayed us." Cold said. "Your mother made a grave mistake that will cost her life, Frieza. She is weak and foolish. That is why she ran away."
"I knew I was right. She really is a traitor!" Frieza yelled, his fists clenched by his side. "She needs to be punished. We can't just let her get away."
King Cold's patience was wearing thin. With a swift movement, he grabbed Frieza by the arm and hoisted him into the air.
"Your mother is gone, Frieza! She abandoned you. She will never return!" His voice was like thunder as he yells in his face."Do you understand?"
"Let go of me!" his son struggles against his firm grip. " I don't care! I'll find her and make her pay! " Frieza screams and thrashes as he's held in the air. "This is all your fault! She ran away because she hates you!"
"Silence! You're still just a child, you can't understand." Cold said angrily. "She spoiled you rotten and now you'll pay the price. Your mother's betrayal is a lesson. Now you'll learn to be a true ruler, not a spoiled brat."
"
Back on the spaceship, King Cold had long since had the ship's systems reactivated to prevent it from crashing into their planet. However, King Cold's fury was far from quelled. His rage boiled over as he stormed through the corridor, his face twisted in anger as he demanded the coordinates from his officers regarding the space pods' movements.
The ship was in a state of alarm as King Cold and his soldiers tried to track where the space pod was heading to. They quickly calculated its trajectory and estimated where it would reach.
Word spread quickly on the spaceship that King Cold's wife had escaped, and in the weeks following King Cold became enraged at anyone who even passingly mentioned of her.
He was too proud to go to the planet she escaped to and force her to back as she had humiliated their family. So when the main thrusters of the ship were repaired and he didn't immediately pursue the tracking signal that was coming from the scouter. King Cold decided to bid his time until his son forgot about her, then he would send his elite squadron to kill her as there no longer any use for a traitor like her in his midst.
Immediately after her escape, Frieza threw a violent temper tantrum. For hours, he screamed hurling insults and beams of energy at every soldier he encountered. The once orderly corridors of the ship became a battleground, with soldiers frantically trying to evade Frieza's rampage. They tried to avoid Frieza's attacks, but some were not so lucky, and there were some wounded fatally.
Not understanding why he couldn't get his revenge and angered his mother had betrayed him.
Frieza didn't tolerate attempts to appease him, and days passed and nothing calmed him down. To him, any additional servants were disposable and easily replaceable. King Cold's search for a suitable replacement was fruitless.
King Cold immersed himself in his work for the planet trade organization. Yet the more he tried to forget about it and ignore the rumors and hushed conversations among his soldiers, the more his mind became filled with thoughts of vengeance and retribution.
As time passed, Frieza's wrath only brought continued chaos and fear among those on the ship, he destroyed anything and anyone in his path. King cold was furious by his behavior and his son was absolutely inconsolable, even his nanny berryblue could quell his temper. No soldier could dare approach him when he was like this, as even a slight murmurings of the betrayal sent him flying into a great rage
King cold was frustrated freiza's behavior and knew that his son's rage had to be satisfied. So instead of killing her immediately, he decided would go to the planet personally to exact his revenge.
He would make her regret leaving him and betraying their family.
As he envisioned all the different ways to make her suffer, an unsettling excitement stirred within him by the prospect of capturing her once more. To ensuing the shame brought upon their family would brought to nothing, and no one would be left to tarnish his families name. These thoughts pleased him greatly, and he felt a deep sense of satisfaction at the thought of inflicting pain on her.
And soon enough, king cold announced his plan to his son frieza that they would travel to the planet she was on.
The expanse of space stretches out before them as king cold and frieza sit in their space pods discussing their plans for revenge.
"Word spread quickly, her escape has brought great shame upon our family and undermined my authority. I gave strict orders and made it clear that such disobedience wont be tolerated. We tightened security to ensure the soldiers understood traitors will be adequately punished. It's crucial you understand, Frieza. There must be consequences for your mother's actions."
"Why haven't we punished her yet? She's the worst traitor ever!" Frieza yelled, baring his teeth. "She deserves to die! What are we waiting for?"
"She'll suffer for the disgrace she brought upon us." King cold said "This is a stain on our family's name that we will cleanse to restore our dignity and reaffirm our power."
"I can't wait to see mama beg for mercy." Frieza said with a sadistic grin, then said angrily. "Her cruel torture won't work on me any longer. I'll be the one in control!"
"What are you talking about?" King Cold questions. Leaning in, he rests his head on his hand, his eyes narrowing in irritation. "Explain yourself."
"It makes me hurt so much I can't breathe right, and then I get really weak and can't do anything. But if I wear my armor mama can't attack me that way."
"What did she do to you?" he said anger rising in his voice.
"I was tricked. I tried to get away, but she snuck up on me! Then she threatened me not to try to escape or else…." he swallows thickly, seeming nervous before he continued explaining in an angrier voice. "I couldn't use my energy. Then I was held there as her fingers ran along my sides. It made me feel sick!"
King cold chuckled. "I see, that was quite cruel of her. You'll need to get your revenge."
"We'll chart the ship in the direction of the planet. Then we'll play a little game when we arrive Frieza." Cold said
What kind of game, papa?" His son asked.
"We'll have a competition to see who can find her first. The winner will get first pick of whatever revenge they desire. I'll give you an edge by not using my power to locate her energy, so it's fairer. " King Cold said. "But remember, she won't go down without a fight."
"She won't get away with this! I'll show her! " He stood up in his space pod as he yelled, excited and determined to win the competition to get his revenge.
King cold commanded one of his loyal officers near sorbet, "We'll leave for the planet on the radar immediately."
The officer bowed and quickly began preparing the ship for departure. He alerted the crew and gave the order to leave for the planet. The ship quickly took off and made its way towards the planet.
the space pod for about a week before you landed on a small, isolated planet on one of the outer bands of this universe.
The first thing you noticed when you stepped out of the space pod was that there was a strong natural ki energy on this planet. It was covered in forests and rocky hills. The air was fresh and clean, and the sky a calming shade of purple. This new race you met felt familiar, although
The alien race here had various shades of colorful yet grey toned skin, they were a mostly peaceful race, yet existed in a symbiotic relationship with other creatures in their environment. Their language, a complex series of sounds, was a formidable barrier, even with the aid of the scouter. They had never encountered another sentient species from a different planet before and regarded you with a sense of distrust and curiosity.
They were skilled in the art of magic and had built their city in an area bordering a large forest. You approached the city and were welcomed and brought to their leaders. They were difficult to tell apart and used their ki power to conceal their identity with faces that seemed to twist and merge with into the various forms of the in the beasts area. Despite their initial apprehension of you, they were more curious about your species and your powers.
You tried to ignore their customs, but some were to strange to brush off. They drank water by their feet as their mouths and would chew up their own food and vomit it back up multiple times. They were an abhorrent race, who valued peace. It stark contrast to the fast paced life of violence and destruction you left behind.
I didn't want to learn more about their strange customs and instead went off on my own. I trained my ki shield to protect me from the vicious alien beasts that roamed the planet freely. My confidence grew with each passing day, empowering me to practice even stronger ki spells.
I learned how to harvest the natural ki on the planet and how to train and increase my battle power. I spent many hours underground in their mines, learning how to extract ki and harnessing magic to bolster my abilities.
The race imparted some knowledge. In turn, I mastered the art of ki manipulation, weaving intricate spells to create projections that mimic the natural world perfectly.
Your unique physiology intrigued them, becoming a subject of fascination and study. Yet you were unable to gain or provide them any answers to who you mysteries and the nature of my species confounded me. While some answers came to light, you didn't remember how you came to this universe, and how king cold was able to control you all those years was something that plagued you.
As time passed dormant memories began to resurface. As you tried to delve deeper into these recollections, a fragmented reality emerged, you glimpsed yourself existing in a different none of this answered any of your questions.
It wasn't very long before you became accustomed to living away from the comforts of technology you had left behind. However, with no new spaceship dramas, news, or delivery service life on this planet was beginning to grow a bit dull. On the spaceship, you could order whatever you wanted and have same day shipping. The money was nice too.
These new circumstances were very…different.
After about a week, any minor inconveniences ceased to bother you. Once a month had passed, you no longer dreaded him finding you day after day. For so long you were certain that you would die at your husbands hands one day. Yet as time passed this reality began to disappear from your mind and you had a sense of peace that you hadn't felt in years, free from the constant sense of danger that had plagued you before.
You frequently returned back to your spacepod and debated with yourself whether to destroying the time and time again you failed to destroy it on your voyages back to the pod you arrived on. It was your last lifeline to the world's outside this one, but it would remove nearly all chance of anyone locating you. Unless that bastard Cold put a bounty on your capture, then any number of space pirates that would be glad to bring you back nearly dead for a half-decent sum of cash.
Or it was the guilt that gnawed at you, reminding you of your selfish choice to escape. Yet as more time passed on this planet, those left behind were now less than an afterthought. You were able to live a peaceful, boring life, away from the problems and comforts that distracted you before. And slowly, the memories of your painful past, began to fade.
Laying on an uncomfortable tree every night as you went to bed caused a strange epiphany to come to mind. There was this nagging feeling was that arose very time you looked down at your scouter. And eventually you discovered what it was.
You wanted to leave.
The monotony of waking up every day just to face the same struggle of having to fend for your self on a foreign planet was beginning to take its toll. This life was too hard.. You wondered if it was the strange cusine or the aliens that resided here that looked off to you.
Their faces seemed to melt further into ugliness every time you saw them. Their bodies seemed to be well designed for their environment, yet they were a short and stout race, with faces that resembled a pig or dog with long ears. They sat in their undeveloped huts and sang their cacophony of songs you couldn't understand. You knew you were being far to critical of them, but they just weren't your taste.
Unlike the seldom attractive king cold, which every once in a while he caught your fancy.
Your mind stirred with memories of him again as you fell asleep in your tree. His species was well equipped with strength and his body spoke to the life of a true conqueror. It was an intriguing study when he got out of the shower, each movement had bundles of muscles and veins flexing under impenetrable skin. You could hardly wrap your arms over his chest when you feel asleep with him.
The thought made you squirm.
Your eyes shot open and your heart races in fear as you look around in the darkness, almost expecting to seee him. He still felt close, it was as if he was laying next to you in bed, and you never managed to escape.
On your ventures back to the ship, you could see the surrounding planets and nearby stars on the radar, but it was difficult to tell how developed their technology was. It may take several months to study the stars to determine the best route to a different planet. It was risky as you didn't have enough fuel to make multiple trips.
With the possibility of never being able resume your previous life, escaping was now beginning to feel like more of a mistake. You would never be able to catch up on the latest space dramas,There were plenty of new action shows and different events in the news you wanted to see. The comforts of your old life were gone and you had settled on a planet you could never call your own.
About a week later, they arrived on a distant planet at the universe's edge. It was a beautiful, lush world, covered in forests and rolling rocky hills, with crystal clear purple lakes and rivers.
It was the perfect place for a fugitive to hide.
King Cold was confident that he and Frieza would find her still alive, and he was looking forward to the game he had landed their large spaceships amidst a sprawling field, surrounded by towering trees. They split up and searched the planet for her, destroying towns and villages, indiscriminately killing all they found.
King Cold and Frieza had been searching for her for several hours, but they weren't able to find her. They were beginning to grow impatient and more and more frustrated. King Cold was sure that he would find her quickly and win their contest, but she had been able to evade them. Still, he remained determined to not use his ability to control her ki and capture her by his own strength.
They soon discover the fugitive had been hiding out in a small town in the forest, they decide to investigate the town further for any signs of of where she went.
After frieza's relentless threats and interrogations, they discover that their target has already left. Angered by the news, they begin to terrorize the town.
"Where is she? Tell me where she is! Papa will destroy this planet if you don't tell me!" Frieza points his finger at a terrified elderly-alien, his eyes filled with rage. The alien was confused and says something indecipherable, unable to understand his language.
Frieza switches his target different reddish alien cowering in the corner."You! Tell me everything you know or I'll blast you to pieces!"
The old and fat alien cowers in fear, unable to speak.Frieza stomps his foot. "You useless creature! I don't have time for this! Soldiers! Destroy everything!
The alien race surrounded the old alien cowering nearby as they wielded swords and spears crafted from an unknown, shimmering metal. The smaller aliens stood firm, holding their ground and prepared to attack and defend their own.
Frieza's soldiers nearby charge forward with their weapons ready to attack.
Meanwhile, the Ginyu Force is engaged in a nearby battle with more larger and more powerful opponents clad in thick armor and wielding spears with long, sharp purple spears.
"Alright, men," Ginyu proclaims, his voice echoing through the chaos, "let's show these punks what real power looks like!"
"Crush! Smash! Destroy!" Recoome shouts as he crouches and punches the air a few times, hyping himself up for battle that's already going on around him.
Jeice slides across the ground and swipes at the alien's legs with a powerful kick, sending him tumbling to the ground. "Eat this, you pathetic worm!"
But the alien is not defeated. The tall, red alien rolls to his feet and launches a powerful kick at Guldo, sending him flying through the air. Guldo crashes into a nearby wall, shattering it into pieces.
Meanwhile, Recoome and Burter are engaged in a fierce battle with a group of alien soldiers. The aliens fight bravely, but they are no match for the Ginyu Force's incredible speed and power. Burter's energy blasts tear through the soldiers like tissue paper, as Recoome's lightning-fast kicks leave them sprawled on the ground.
Recoome is a child in a candy store, reveling in his delight. Their colorful heads pop off and resemble gummy candy torn apart, revealing a sticky, gooey center. As the battle escalates, liquid seeps from Recoome's treats, and forms small, glistening droplets that spread across the room. The once-springy confections are reduced to a sticky, unappetizing puddle of wasted sweetness as many are dead.
He demolishes buildings and tosses warriors around effortlessly. The terrified townspeople watch in horror as their homes and loved ones are destroyed.
Ginyu shouts, "Alright, men, let's spread out and search every inch of this place. Let's work hard so we'll be the first to find her."
"Yeah, let's hurry up and find her and bring her back to the king. He'll be so pleased we'll get a raise," Jeice says.
"I can't wait to see the look on her face when she realizes she can't escape," Burter says with a cruel smile.
"I'm hungry. Can we eat after we find her?" Recoome asks.
Guldo replies, "Quiet, Recoome. We have a mission to complete."
"Aaaaaah! Feel the force of my power!" Ginyu cries out, knocking down several warriors that try to surround them.
Frieza pulls out his scouter. The device whirrs to life as it attempts to decipher the alien language. After a few moments, the scouter's screen lights up with translated words. "They're talking about a traitor!" Frieza exclaims to his father, pointing at his scouter. "They know where mama is! Tell me!" he demands, his voice rising in pitch as he turns around and races towards the crowd cowering nearby.
An alien rambles out about how an alien is traveling north. After he finishes speaking, Frieza shoots him in the chest with his death beam and he crumbles forward onto the floor. The others quickly flee the area, and Frieza turns back towards his father with a big smile. "I'm going to get my revenge first!"
King Cold laughs. "Good. Let your anger fuel your power."
They both exited the building they had entered. Cold walked past the rubble and dead bodies that littered the streets to the main center of the town and his son followed him. There, they were met by Zarbon and Dodoria, who were searching the area.
"These puny aliens are proving to be more troublesome than anticipated. They're hiding something, I can feel it in my gut!" Dodoria said to Zarbon as he sent his ki blasts through the area.
Zarbon smiles smugly as he watches them scramble around in a panic. "Dodoria you've got a point. They're clearly hiding information. We need to extract it from them, one way or another. Later, we should also investigate their planet's resources. This may be a valuable acquisition."
"It would be a simple and quick transaction," King Cold laughed, crossing his arms with a cruel smile. "Wiping out the inhabitants here would be no trouble at all. This planet could fetch a handsome price."
"Always about business as usual, I see." Zarbon compliments.
"Let's show them the true meaning of fear, Lord Cold. A little torture would get them to speak." Dodoria grabs one of the younger aliens cowering nearby up by the back and blasts them, their scrawny form is wrecked from the blast as his arm flies off and their body crumbles down. The alien quickly succumbs to his wounds.
"While torture may be effective, it may prove to be an inefficient use of our time. It may prove more valuable to take a more... diplomatic approach. A demonstration of our power might convince them to cooperate." Zarbon fires an energy blast, breaking open large holes for the soldiers to use as entrances into their homes.
They search further but find no cooperation among their species even in the face of their certain death. King Cold's patience is wearing thin their defiance is a constant irritant to him, and for a moment he considers just destroying the planet altogether.
Cold gestures to a group of cowering civilians, their eyes filled with terror. "Find those who provided us information earlier and bring them aboard," he commands.
Two of his elite guards, Zarbon and Dodoria, step forward, their movements precise and efficient as they grab two of the most physically imposing aliens from the crowd. A silent struggle ensues, but the guards are too strong. With a sickening crack of bone, one of the aliens is subdued. The other, sensing their comrade's fate, surrenders without a fight.
King Cold watches the spectacle with detached interest. "Take them to the interrogation room," he orders. "I want answers."
As the guards drag the captured aliens away, King Cold turns his icy gaze back to the terrified populace, then says to his other guards nearby, "Anyone else with information about the fugitive should come forward now," he says, his voice carrying over the crowd. "Or you will all share the same fate." After a moment, this is translated by his scouter.
After they leave, Frieza unleashes a blast of energy at a nearby building, nearly obliterating it and sending debris flying. "You will answer to me!" he screams, his tiny fists clenched. "Or I'll have papa destroy this entire planet!" The survivors trip and fall over each other as they run away in fear.
Freiza laughs manically as he shoots those fleeing in the back causing them to fall down. Most of them die instantly or quickly succumb to their wounds within a few more seconds.
Suddenly, his fatheremerges from behind and he puts his hand on his shoulder"Let's keep moving. My soldiers will give us more information soon."
Frieza shrugs him off and steps away. "I don't want to stop yet." He smiles smugly as he fires off a few more energy beams towards the terrified populace.
The soldiers begin to fire energy blasts at the buildings, reducing them to rubble.
"King Cold uncrosses his arms and raises his hand, unleashing a devastating energy blast. The beam tears straight through the village, reducing buildings to rubble and vaporizing the fleeing aliens in an instant.
Frieza stands there surprised for a moment by the display of power from his father. 'Are you having fun, Frieza?' Cold asks his son.
The little tyrant's eyes widen in manic glee as he jumps up and down. 'Yes!' he squeals, his voice a high-pitched squeak of delight. He turns back towards their settlement and shoots off more energy blasts towards the town, very excited to continue their search."
Recognizing the distinctive shape of their spaceships in the distance, a visceral cocktail of revulsion and rage explodes within you. Your stomach churns, a primal urge to flee warring with an equally potent desire to confront those who have pursued you to the ends of the universe.
It makes sense that they are here; in fact, you were certain this day would come.
On numerous occasions, you failed to destroy your scouter. You were just an instant away from firing an energy blast at it and gaining true freedom, yet you hesitated time after time, unable to rid yourself of the thing that held you captive.
I fly away from the spaceships until I can no longer see their outline in the horizon. Now in a safer place, I swing the blade of my tail down on the scouter once more, but at the last moment strength fails and I miss intentionally. The guilt from abandoning my family that still chains me to that nasty old man. Or perhaps it's a less noble motive, a dissatisfaction with the life I have on this planet, without the comforts of my old life. Days pass in this pathetic state, failing over and over again.
It's no wonder that now, they found me.
I revisit the area where my spacepod landed. The towns nearby lie in ruins, with dead bodies and destroyed buildings everywhere. The residents have all been mercilessly slaughtered. Upon closer inspection, multiple bodies are littered with multiple holes that resemble the wounds inflicted by Frieza's energy blasts. Others are so torn apart that one can barely recognize the missing pieces of their mangled bodies. They are getting closer, yet as the next day arrives, they still haven't found me.
It's a horrific sight.
I truly want to care, but this is such a common occurrence while traveling with King Cold that these sights fail to seize me with fear. Instead, I stare blankly at the grotesque scene of destruction, plagued by this pervasive sense of emptiness.
Crouching low behind a cluster of jagged rocks, I grip the dirt beneath my fingers. The rumble of explosions echoes in the distance, shaking the ground as smoke rises on the horizon. Hiding won't stop this. The destruction spreads like wildfire, relentless. More of these creatures—fragile, sentient, and far too trusting—will die if I don't act.
The sky glows red with the light of burning villages, and the screams from nearby settlements pierce the air. Hours slip by, but their patrols don't falter. I remain unseen, tucked in the shadows, their searchlights sweeping just shy of my position. Strange. By now, I should have been found.
I force myself to move, my heart pounding in my ears as I creep toward the landing site. The sleek, metallic ship looms ahead, its hull reflecting the chaos around it. Soldiers march back and forth, their boots crunching against the scorched earth. They raid the remains of homes and drag what little is left into the open, their laughter grating against the cries of survivors. I wait, studying their movements, searching for an opening.
The thought claws at me like a beast, relentless and sharp—stealing a spacepod. My stomach churns, a tight knot that won't loosen. Images flash through my mind: chains, execution chambers, the cold gleam of punishment. A bitter sound escapes my throat—half laugh, half grimace. Mercy? From them? The word feels foreign, absurd.
As dusk paints the sky in fiery streaks the next day, a flash of light cuts through the horizon. Frieza's death rays carve the air, their crackling hum reaching me even from here. Pressing my back against the rough bark of a towering tree, I dampen my ki and inch closer, staying in the shadows.
Through the haze of destruction, his small silhouette comes into focus, floating with a detached grace. Entire homes crumble under his blasts, leaving trails of ash and smoke curling skyward. Survivors dart from their shattered shelters, scrambling for safety. He catches them effortlessly—energy beams streaking past their fleeing forms and striking them down mid-step. Their bodies crumple, lifeless.
Laughter rings out, shrill and sharp, slicing through the chaos. He hovers there, basking in the suffering like it's a game, each scream and plea fueling his twisted delight.
Crouched in the shadows, I linger, watching as Frieza prowls through the smoldering ruins of the village. His blasts tear through walls and bodies alike, and the screams ripple through the air, sharp and piercing. I clench my fists, the questions swirling in my mind louder than the chaos around me. Flee again? There's nowhere safe to run. Stay and fight? The odds are as grim as the sky above.
Should you try to stop the slaughter? A flicker of rationalization creeps in—their species reproduces quickly… buzzed around your mind you hesitate to act. . It was wrong to think this way.
The only way to escape is one of the spaceships that they arrived in, but I don't want to leave again as it only would delay the inevitable, but there's nothing else that sounded better at the moment than delaying what is to come.
The ships glint faintly on the horizon, their metallic shells untouched by the carnage around them. They're the only way off this doomed planet, but the thought of fleeing gnaws at me. Escaping now just pushes back the inevitable, a temporary reprieve at best. Yet even that flicker of delay feels like salvation in this moment. Still, I head in the direction of the ships.
A sharp scream cuts through the heavy air, My body stiffens, every muscle tense. I rise slowly, staying low as I weave through the underbrush, each step muffled by the scorched earth.
Frieza's form flickers in the distance, moving through the ruins with a deliberate, predatory grace. I keep my eyes locked on him, tracking his movements while staying hidden behind the gnarled remains of trees.
The wreckage thins as I distance myself from the village. Once I'm far enough, I push off the ground and fly low, my ki dampened to nearly nothing. The ground rushes past beneath me, my body skimming just above it. Shadows swallow me as I blend into the charred terrain, my energy cloaked as tightly as my movements.
After getting a much further distance away I fly low and try to blend in with the environment. I'm careful to avoid detection, I use my ki so I appear almost invisible as approach towards one of the spaceships. Feeling an incoming sense of energy, I quickly duck as a laser beam whizzes past me. I look over my shoulder.
Frieza's silhouette hovers in the distance, small but unmistakable. On a field in the distance, Frieza points towards me, summoning a magenta ball of energy that grows as he prepares to fire another death ray. I narrowly dodge the beam in the air and avoid being hit.
My breath catches as another beam fires toward me. Twisting sharply, I dart out of its path, the light searing past and detonating against the ground with a deafening boom. Then it hits me, with almost as strong of of a earth shattering explosion.
My vacation is over.
Figuring escape is hopeless, I summon my ki shield, its protective glow rippling around me. The ship and the chance to flee are forgotten. I drop lower, landing on the cracked ground, and step forward to face him.
Frieza's attacks are relentless. Blasts of energy crash into my ki shield, each one brighter and more vicious than the last. The barrier deflects them all, scattering their force into harmless bursts of light.
Now within earshot, his shrill voice cuts through the chaos. "Die!" he screams, his eyes blazing with uncontained fury. "I hate you!"
He summons an even more powerful blast, the energy swelling in his palms before erupting toward me. It slams into my shield with a deafening explosion, halting my advance for a moment. The ground trembles beneath me, and the sheer force of the attack sends a wave of heat rushing past.
I grit my teeth, steadying myself as the shock fades. My shield flickers but holds strong. The raw strength of his blast surprises me, but I push the doubt aside. My eyes lock onto his, unyielding. I take another step forward.
As I close the gap, his frustration boils over. With a furious cry, Frieza lunges at me. Before he can reach, I raise my hand, channeling my energy. A glowing bubble forms around him, and with a flick of my wrist, he floats upward, suspended a few feet off the ground. His furious writhing and sharp glares do nothing to break my focus as I hold him in place.
Frieza screams at the top of his lungs, "You traitor! I'll kill you!" his whole body thrashes wildly as he tries to escape. She remains calm, hoping his outburst will subside. After a couple moments she speaks in a low calm voice.
"Surely you must hate papa more than me?"
"Shut up!" His small hands claw at the bubble's edge as he lunges again. "I hate him more than anything!" he yells
"You've become so strong. I'm sure that you'll be able to defeat your father soon, then you'll become the new emperor of the universe." I say, trying to distract him. "Isn't that exciting?"
Frieza stops struggling for a moment and stares at her perplexed. Then a deep scowl appears on his face. "Shut up! I'm already stronger than Papa!"
"You said you hate your father more than anything. I'll be so proud of you to see you finally defeat him," I pause, attempting to redirect his anger. "I would love to see you try today. If you succeed, then I'll be in your service, my new king." She smiles slightly, bowing forward in a gesture of respect.
Frieza's eyes widen in surprise as she bows before him, but his rage erupts instantly. "You can't trick me!" he yells, tiny fists pounding the barrier, yet he's helpless against it. As he screams and struggles in the bubble even more, you can't help but feel a twinge of guilt for playing with his emotions.
He wails, "I hate you! I want to kill you!" Despite his fierce struggles, the bubble held him prisoner, and he could do nothing but thrash around frantically.
"Let me out! I get to have my revenge now. I found you first." he screams, then teeth bared as tears well up in his eyes.
Frieza's sudden change in demeanor catches me off guard. I've seen him cry before, when he was younger, but never like this. I study him for a moment, unable to look away. You've never seen an expression on his face quite like this—he's on the verge of tears, yet completely overcome with anger.
I don't want to yield until he calms down, but as his anger unravels into a tempest of tears and sobs, my resolve falters. His emotional state is crumbling, and I can't stand watching him fall apart. After a couple seconds, you relent, letting him out.
Frieza falls to the ground but springs up instantly, lunging at her once more. She neutralizes his ki energy with a slow, deliberate breath, then lowers her shield.
Tears are running down his face and snot from his nose as he punches, kicks, and scratches her with all his might. It's surprising how his strength diminishes without the aid of his power level; he really is like a small child having a tantrum. Despite the annoyance and minor pain, I don't avoid his attacks.
My previous attempts to calm him with a soothing tone didn't work, and after letting him have his way for little while it was starting to hurt. Finally, you snap,"Frieza, that's enough!" But he doesn't seem to be listening.
Switching tactics, I try to use my powers to subdue him and place a hand on his head. He pushes me away, preventing from me from using your trying ability to put him to sleep. He reaches out towards and his arms wave around frantically as he tries to hit me. Then a sudden, loud noise startles me.
Glancing over my shoulder, King Cold lands nearby. He seems furious and there is a strong ki energy emanating from him. I moves away from Frieza and turns to face King Cold, beginning to lose my calm.
"Why are you here?" I struggle to keep my voice even. "I left you. I want nothing to do with you." My teeth clench, the bitterness leaking into my words. "Get away from me! Let me have my peace far away from you."
King Cold's expression darkens as he listens to her words and he seems to fill with rage. "You never truly escaped. Or I let you be cast out? Such a fine distinction. You've already come crawling back now, didn't you? Tail between your legs, begging for your life."
He begins walking toward me, his eyes glowing with power. I feel the sudden weight of the chain spell wrapping around me, seizing my abilities, and I can't help but wince.
"Get over yourself! I don't want to go back." I struggle against the electric chain that pulls me closer to him. "You're just an evil, bitter old man."
King Cold laughs, the sound cold and mocking. "Go back?" His voice deepens with contempt. "It's far too late for that now. I won't let an unfinished mess ruin the order of my vessel any longer. Your fate was sealed the moment you were exiled here, and now I've come to take my revenge."
"You're afraid to fight without removing my power! You're weak!" I yell, unsure if it's genuine fear that's making my body lock up or the chains wrapped many times around my body.
King Cold's expression twists into a sneer. He stops dead in his tracks, his eyes blazing with fury as they lock onto mine. He takes a deep breath and says in a low voice, "You think you're stronger than me?"
"If you won't fight me then you're a coward!"
"You think I'm afraid of you?" A menacing chuckle escapes his lips. "Your wasting my time. You're no match for me."
"You have to fight." I steps back and my breath catches in my throat. "Or Frieza will know his father's a coward!" I glance at Frieza from the corner of my eye and he has the biggest grin on his teary face.
King Cold's eyes narrow at her words. He quickly approaches her and grabs her by the throat. He is much taller than her and his hand easily wrapped around her neck. He holds her up and looks at her with a cruel expression. "I wasn't planning to kill you so soon. But since you insist, then I'll end your life right now."
My ears begin ringing as he squeezes my neck and I look dark sky is now illuminated with thousands of stars, the light reflecting in my eyes as my vision blurrs.
King Cold doesn't loosen his grip. She tries to pull away but he's too strong. He says in a low voice, "You're pathetic. You think you can stand up to me? You underestimate my power. I'm the ruler of the universe and you're just a mere slave, a vessel for my sons power." His grip tightens and she can feel the pressure on her neck. "And now you're nothing."
"Mama is right. I want to see you fight at full power!" Frieza yells, sitting on a large rock nearby. "Papa's a coward! He won't fight!" Frieza accuses his father.
"That's enough, Frieza!" King Cold commands, his voice thunderous. He turns his head toward his son, eyes blazing with anger. "You'll stay out of this."
"Shut up!" Frieza yells animatedly, fists clenched by his side as he stands up on his rock. "I found her first! I get to have my revenge! Get out of my way. I'll fight!"
He turns his head toward frieza and replies. "Don't you dare underestimate my strength. I don't need to prove myself to you." He pauses for a brief moment then adds, "However, I shall honor my agreement." he releases his grip on your neck and you fall down onto your knees. Coughing, you press both hands on your throat in reflex from the pain, desperately trying to catch your breath
King cold turns towards frieza. "Very well, Frieza. We'll fight, are you ready for show?" A menacing grin spreads across his face as he cracks his knuckles.
"Fight, fight!" Frieza cheers, jumping up and down excitedly. "I want to watch you fight!" His fist shoot up in the air. "Kill her!"
King Cold turns back toward me, his voice cold and commanding. "I'll allow you to use your ki energy in this fight. If you manage to survive until the sun sets, I may spare your life. Now, will you flee for your life, or will you attempt to face the strongest warrior in the universe?" A flicker of amusement edges his tone. "Consider yourself fortunate. I am a man of my word."
Go to hell, I'd rather die then run from you now. Well, almost.
Without hesitation, I charge at him, aiming to catch him off guard and stab him with the blade on the end of my tail. King Cold steps aside, but I quickly swing my tail around, driving the blade into his side.
King Cold's eyes widen in pain for a moment as the blade pierces his skin. He grunts in pain as he stumbles backward, and places his hand where he was stabbed. "You dare to attack me by surprise?" he snarls, his voice low and dangerous.
"How could I wait any longer? I've been looking forward to this for a very long time."
"I see you're serious about this," he disables the restrictions on your powers. "I won't hold back now." he says with a sadistic chuckle.
Frieza squeals in excitement as he cheers the fight on eagerly on top of a large rock off to the side. He fired a large ki blast, but it was deflected by my shield and hit near Frieza.
"What was that?" Frieza shrieks, in surprise as he stands up on his rock. "You almost hit me, you idiot!"
I send rotating disks of energy at him, but King Cold dodges effortlessly, and they explode against a cliff behind him. He turns to me, a mocking smile tugging at his lips."Is that all you have?" he says with a taunt."I can tell you still can't use your ki energy well by the way you fight " He laughs, the sound cold and mocking. "This will be easy."
King Cold fires another massive ki blast my way. I inhale just before it reaches me, trying to absorb some of the power from the air, but it's too late— I was too slow. The blast crashes into me, overwhelming my body with its force. I'm thrown backward, tumbling across the rocky terrain before finally coming to a stop.
I roll onto my hands and knees, struggling to catch my breath. My eyes scan the remnants of the explosion and the dust drifting through the air, searching for his figure. I sense another blast hurling toward me. I teleport just in time, and it strikes a small mountain behind where I was standing.
King Cold looks around for me and upon spotting me quickly fires a small ki laser blast at me. I roll over and dodge the ki energy laser blast and fire a energy beam of my own at him. It shoots small hole all the way through his armor into his shoulder.
King Cold grits his teeth, clutching his arm as blood drips down from the wound in his shoulder. He takes a step back, his expression darkening, though there's a flicker of surprise in his eyes. The corner of his mouth twitches upward slightly, a twisted hint of admiration in his gaze.
"You're stronger than I expected," he says, his voice low and almost amused, "but it's still not enough to defeat me. You'll learn soon enough just how outmatched you are."
I wince, pain coursing through my body as I push myself to my feet. My skin is raw, covered in cuts and bruises from being thrown across the jagged terrain, and my neck aches with every movement, stiff and painful from the choking grip.
I look over at him. King Cold is bleeding and injured, but hestood tall and seemingly unaffected. "You put up a good fight, but it's time to end this." He powered up and a huge ki ball in his hands. It was so bright that it's blinding.
I teleport past him, landing a quick punch to the side of his face. King Cold staggers back, clearly caught off guard. I try to turn and back off, but before I can fully retreat, he grabs my tail. =I'm slammed into the rocky earth, my side colliding painfully with the unforgiving ground.
From the distance, Frieza's cheers and yells echo in the chaos, but the noise only grates on my nerves, making my frustration grow.
King Cold releases my tail and quickly aims a blast at me. I summon my own ki, releasing a explosion of light that just blinds him. The blast distracts him long enough for me to crawl away, scrambling to get out of his line of sight. I glance over my shoulder, the sound of my heavy breaths mixing with the rush of my footsteps as I make my escape.
King cold quickly recovers and wipes the blood from his face and he looks angrier than ever. Or more like his usual countenance. I can't tell as he fires another giant ki blast is at me. It's too fast and I can't dodge.
The blast crashes into my ki shield, but it shatters instantly, and the explosion engulfs me. I'm thrown back, crashing against the rocky base of a nearby cliff, crumpling to the ground. I try to push myself up from my knees, but I'm too weak. I fall back down, rolling onto my back.
Dazed and battered, I lie there, struggling to breathe, feeling my strength slipping away with every passing second.
I'm no match for his years of training. I curse myself for not taking every opportunity to hone my abilities. My willpower starts sapping away from me as I wonder why I'm even doing this.
Would be better if I were to die here?
I hardly have any fight left in me, my body aching with every breath, but when I hear King Cold's voice cut through the air, something inside me stirs. His cold, commanding tone makes every fiber of my being tense with stress. It's not just the physical pain that's exhausting me; it's the overwhelming presence of him. The mere thought of facing him again, of being in his presence, fills me with a deep, gnawing dread.
I can't help it. The anger, the resentment, the humiliation of everything he's put me through—all of itresurfaces. Despite the exhaustion weighing me down, my mind refuses to let me surrender to the crushing reality of this fight. I want to escape him, to get away from him, but the idea of standing or fleeing before him— or giving him the satisfaction of seeing me broken—is equally unbearable.
I hardly have any fight left in me but when I hear King cold's voice in the distance but it makes me immediately want to get up and get away from him.
I focus, drawing in whatever ki I can from the air around me, trying to regain control. My arm shakes as I raise it, the energy swirling into a ball above my hand. It's unstable, barely forming. The energy from the ground pulses through me, but it feels weak, scattered. The air around me jolts with electricity, and it crackles from my skin, far too wild to harness.
I grit my teeth, but the power surges out uncontrollably. Lightning arcs in all directions, jolting through the air until it strikes King Cold. The force hits him hard, a large bolt of energy crashing into his chest. His knees buckle, and he's thrown back, his hands scrambling to grab the ground to stabilize himself.
The electric arcs continue, striking him with erratic force. He falls to his hands and knees, shouting in pain as the shocks run through his body. I can feel the energy pulsing within me, but it's like the power is beyond my control, too much, too fast. King Cold writhes, but it's not enough to stop him.
He attempts to push himself up, but the shocks don't let him. He stumbles back down, groaning as he desperately reaches for his scouter, as if trying to call his soldiers.
I can barely think straight, the ki surging out of me uncontrollably. "This is your fight, you don't need any help," I hiss, slamming my foot down onto the scouter, crushing it under my heel.
Frieza is perched on a rock, watching from a distance. His gaze is fixed on his father, and I can feel his anticipation from here, like he's waiting for something. His posture is tense, leaning in as King Cold struggles to get to his feet, but his movements are slow, deliberate. It's clear—he's failing.
"Why are you able to use your power?" King Cold snarls, his voice rough with pain. His face twists, blood dripping from his shoulder, but there's more than just physical agony in his eyes—there's disbelief.
The words rush out before I can stop them, hot and bitter. "You're afraid of my power! That's why you forbid me from training all those years." Without thinking, I grab his horn, jerking his face up to mine. His eyes widen, but I don't care. I scream, the fury coursing through me like wildfire. "I would rather die than be your wife! I've always hated you!"
I release my grip on King Cold's horn, taking a step back as the heat of my anger cools. A strange sensation washes over me—surprise, maybe even embarrassment. I feel like I've lost control, my temper spilling out of me in a way I can't quite explain. I glance down at my hands, watching as the residual power slowly fades. The tingling is still there, almost like an echo of what was coursing through me just moments ago. It's familiar—too familiar, and suddenly im afraid. The sensation is just like when he used that curse to control me.
"Did you suppress my power?" The question slips from me, nervousness creeping into my voice as I take another cautious step back.
Frieza's voice interrupts, loud and mocking. From his perch on the rock, he cups his hands around his mouth and shouts with a childlike glee, "Papa, did you hear? She hates you!" His words cut through the air, sharp and taunting, and I can see King Cold's expression twist in anger at the sound of his son's voice.
King Cold pushes himself off the ground with a grunt of defiance, his body trembling with the strain. He chuckles darkly as he places a hand on his knee, using it to help himself to his feet. The movement is slow, deliberate. Blood is still seeping from the wound on his side, but he stands tall, unyielding.
"You think I'm afraid of you?" His voice is cold, contemptuous. "You can't even control your own power." His words sting, but I feel something deeper lurking beneath them. "You made a terrible mistake. One that will cost your life."
His words hang in the air, but there's something else behind them—a hint of something I'm missing, something important. A piece of the puzzle I've overlooked. The feeling that surged through me when I lost control... It's familiar, but I can't quite place it. My mind races, trying to recall the exact moment before it happened, before "I underestimated your strength. You could have been a great addition to my army." King Cold's voice is low, almost regretful, but laced with a chilling finality. "But it's too late for you now."
I've seen his power up close. It's far greater than mine. I can feel it in every fiber of my being. There's no way I can win this battle. The reality sinks in, heavy and cold. My only option now is to run—to survive.
I scramble backward, stumbling slightly as I try to flee before King Cold fully recovers. The wind cuts at my face as I push my body forward, every step dragging me down. I'm too weak. I can't summon the energy for flight, my body protesting with every strained motion.
"You're not going anywhere." His voice cuts through the air, sharp and cold. "I'm not done with you yet."
Before I can react, I feel a surge of pressure as King Cold fires a ki blast at me. The energy hits my legs, and I cry out as I fall to the ground. The impact knocks the breath from my lungs, and I land hard on my chest. Pain ripples through my body, and I writhe on the ground, unable to move for a moment.
I try to push myself up, but every movement feels like a punishment. My legs feel like they're made of stone, each step sending a blade of agony shooting through my body. I stagger, my knees buckling, and I trip, crashing onto my side with a strangled cry.
King Cold's footsteps echo behind me, slow and deliberate. He walks over, his shadow looming above me. When he stands in front of me, I can feel the weight of his cruel smirk, even without looking up at him.
I struggle to lift myself, getting onto my hands and knees, but the pain in my chest from the impact makes every movement excruciating. I spit out a weak breath before meeting his gaze.
"I hate you," I manage to rasp, my voice barely more than a whisper. I cough harshly, the pain in my chest flaring up again, and for a moment, I can't speak. The words hang in the air, leaving me feeling unsatisfied, as if I haven't even begun to say everything I truly want to.
"Is that so? You lasted longer than I expected, but I'm not feeling so lenient anymore." He says coldly, raises his hand and charges a ki blast aimed at my head. "Such a shame, you could have been a powerful addition to my army."
The sun has already set, and whether King Cold will keep his word is irrelevant now. The fight presses on, unyielding, and I know it's only a matter of time before the end comes. If he's going to kill me, then my time in hell would be far more merciful than leaving this world without exacting at least a taste of revenge.
"Didn't you hear me?" I force the words through gritted teeth, my voice breaking the silence. "I've always hated you!"
I look up, locking eyes with him, fury and years of pent-up frustration surging in my chest. "I hated every moment of it! I never wanted to be your wife!" The words escape me, a desperate cry that cuts through the tension between us, but he remains unaffected, his cold demeanor unshaken.
With a flash of movement, King Cold fires a powerful ki blast at me, and I barely have time to react. Summoning the last of my ki, I form a shield just in time, the barrier barely holding as the blast slams into it, scorching my body with the remnants of its energy.
I'm blinded for a moment, the blast searing through my senses, and when the light fades, I roll over onto my back. The night sky above swirls with the shifting stars and moons of this cursed planet, the vastness of it all distorting through my dazed vision. The ringing in my ears drowns out the noise of Frieza's obnoxious cheering, but it still manages to pierce through, grating on my last nerve.
I don't want to die.
I inhale deeply, drawing in his ki blast before rolling over, using my tail to swipe at his feet. King Cold effortlessly sidesteps, but the tip of my tail manages to graze his skin. The slight cut does little to slow him down, but the miscalculation causes him to lose his balance, and he stumbles forward, landing on top of me. His body presses into mine as he catches himself on his elbows.
His piercing red eyes lock onto mine, and for a moment, my breath hitches in my throat. A sudden wave of humiliation crashes over me, and my heart races. The memory flashes unbidden—the countless times I was forced into this very position, trapped beneath him. Can I trick him the same way I've fooled him all these years?
The weight of the situation bears down on me. I know this fight isn't going to end well for me, but there's one last thing I can try. I swallow my pride and begin my next plan, though it tastes bitter. I beg for my life.
With trembling hands, I grab his shoulders and roll him off me. I move quickly, positioning myself on top of him. My legs clamp around his sides, pinning him down with a forceful surge of ki. The power crackles through the air, but I focus, trying to hold him in place.
I lean in, pressing my lips to his in a kiss. The moment it happens, King Cold jerks his head away, clearly shocked by my sudden change in demeanor.
For a split second, there's hesitation in his eyes—then the fury returns. His eyes blaze with hatred, and in that instant, I pull away. I've made a grave mistake.
Frieza climbs over large boulders as he moves closer to see the fight. "Yuck! What are you doing? Keep fighting!" He exclaims angrily from a distance.
King Cold seizes the opportunity the moment I glance away at Frieza, and before I can react, he unleashes a powerful ki blast right in front of me. The explosion blinds me instantly, the force of it overwhelming. A wave of searing heat crashes over me, and I'm thrown backward, my body skidding across the jagged rocks. I try desperately to dig my hands into the earth, but the rough surface only worsens the burn, sending me tumbling further.
King Cold's dark chuckle fills the air. "You served your purpose, but now you're nothing more than a nuisance standing in my way. I have no use for you anymore." He raises his hand, preparing to unleash a final blast.
Useful to him? The thought lingers like a bitter taste. That's the only thing that ever mattered to him, wasn't it? That's all I've ever been—something to be used. His words fill me with a sickening, hot hatred, and I grit my teeth, feeling that rage rise within me.
I hate him with every fiber of my being, but I did lie. I would take being his wife over dying any day. There were moments, tiny fragments of time, where I thought I might have even cared for him. Maybe I was wrong.
It wasn't all bad, there were moments where I thought I cared for him. Maybe this fight wasn't just for revenge.
It was difficult to admit, but I wanted to earn his respect.
The way I was acting, the things I was doing, seemed unbelievable to even myself.
. I didn't destroy my scouter. I wanted to see my family again, or just hear their voice, even if it meant they were coming to kill me. I was sure this meant I had long since gone crazy.
But now I had made it so much more difficult for myself. By arrogantly demeaning when I gained the upper hand.
I prostrate myself on the ground before him, bowing low with my face towards the ground. "I have brought great shame upon this family and I am not worthy of being your wife. I could never earn the mercy of a being as great and powerful as you." I cough, my chest aching with pain from every word I spoke.
This earned a deep chuckle from king cold. "It's too late to beg for mercy now. I won't let you escape your punishment again."
Then unexpectedly, I told the truth.
"I wanted to return. I didn't destroy my scouter so you'd find me. I don't know why. I…I made an impulsive decision to escape. I thought about returing to you every single day. I didn't want to fight you, but I was too ashamed to tell you the truth. "
King Cold hesitates, as though taken aback by your sudden show of humility. Still he launches the blast at me. "You fought well."
I awake in hell.
A deafening ring fills my ears, drowning out everything else. Gradually, the noise fades, replaced by the sound of voices.
"Let's go, Frieza. We're leaving." King Cold's voice pierces through the haze, sharp and commanding, though it feels distant, like an echo from another world.
My eyelids flutter open, and the sky above me spins, the stars melting into one another in a swirling dance before breaking apart again.
"Nooo! Keep fighting! I want to see some action!" Frieza's shrill scream slices through the air, his hands clutching his head in frustration.
The pain crashes over me, relentless and unforgiving, and I squeeze my eyes shut against it. My body trembles, unable to hold on any longer.
His voice fades, the world slipping out of reach, and I drift into the darkness, where everything blurs into nothing.
Harsh white lights burned into my vision as my eyes flickered open. Shadows moved around me—figures in white, their movements brisk and purposeful. The medical staff wasted no time, stripping away my damaged armor and removing the blade from my tail with practiced precision. I could feel their hands working quickly to wrap my wounds in layers of bandages, though the sensations barely registered through the haze of exhaustion and pain.
Their voices swirled together in a muddled hum, indistinct and far away. I tried to focus, but the effort was futile.
Sleep clawed at me again and again, pulling me under only for the sharp sting of prodding hands to jolt me awake. The sounds of the ship buzzed faintly in the background—the hum of engines, the distant clatter of equipment—but they brought no solace.
The bed glided smoothly beneath me, the hum of its hover mechanism barely audible over the muffled clatter of movement around me. Overhead, the ceiling lights smeared into shifting streaks, their harsh glow mixing with my blurred vision. Sleep tugged at me relentlessly, and this time, I gave in, my body sinking into the void of unconsciousness.
The next thing I registered was the cold, viscous embrace of liquid surrounding me. My awareness drifted in and out, faint impressions of the world filtering through the thick barrier of the chamber. Muffled voices echoed from somewhere beyond, indistinct and distant, as though they belonged to a dream. Time ceased to have meaning; the days blurred together into a monotony of cold fluid and fleeting lucidity.
At first, the view outside the healing chamber was unobstructed. Though my vision was blurred by the viscous liquid, I could make out the faint outlines of figures passing by, their movements deliberate and brisk. Soldiers in identical uniforms would occasionally pause to glance at the tank, their expressions unreadable through the distorted glass. I felt like a specimen on display, their gazes lingering long enough to remind me of my vulnerability.
Then, through the haze, I noticed a pair of figures who were unmistakable. King Cold stood tall, his regal posture as commanding as ever. Beside him, Berryblue had her clipboard in hand as always, her sharp eyes scanning the notes she scribbled. They exchanged words I couldn't hear, their lips moving with the ease of practiced conversation as they glanced in my direction.
Through the hazy outline of his form, King Cold's crimson eyes bore into me with a chilling intensity, radiating both disdain and calculated interest. He gestured to someone off to the side, and moments later, Kikono scurried into view, his small frame nearly obscured by the equipment he carried. The scene felt surreal, as though I was a subject under their meticulous scrutiny, my existence reduced to another task in their day.
Not long after, the activity outside began to fade. The soldiers' curiosity waned, and the hallway emptied. Then, as if by command, the outside of the chamber was obscured. A dark material now covered the outside of the chamber, blocking my view entirely. The outside world, once blurry but visible, was now gone entirely. The faint glow from within the chamber illuminated only the immediate interior, leaving me feeling completely isolated.
I reached out instinctively, my hand pressing against the smooth, curved surface of the glass. The covering on the outside felt alien, cutting me off from whatever movement or figures might have been out there. It was both a comfort and a source of unease.
Were they trying to shield me from what was happening beyond, or were they hiding me away? The thought lingered, heavy and unanswered, as I sank back into the rhythm of the chamber's quiet sounds and the pull of exhaustion.
When my eyes finally opened again, the liquid chamber was gone, replaced by the stark brightness of the hospital bay. White walls surrounded me, sterile and unfamiliar. Disoriented, I stared at the ceiling until my vision became clearer.
I look around the room in a daze then down unpon myself. I'm wearing different clothes. My armor and blade no where to be found. I spot one of the medical staff nearby sitting at a desk.
"Can I leave?"
The nurse glances at me and shakes their head. "You're still recovering from your injuries. It's not safe for you to leave here just yet." They pause, glancing down at the the electronic screen she was occupied with. "King Cold ordered that you remain under constant supervision. You are strictly forbidden to leave the ship for any reason right now."
I roll my eyes, then squeeze them shut, trying to block out the noise around me. The rhythmic hum of the machines and the quiet footsteps of the medical staff make my head spin, and I can feel myself drifting back into sleep.
But not long after, a sudden weight crashes down onto my chest, jolting me awake. The breath is knocked from my lungs, and before I can react, small fists begin to land on me, accompanied by Frieza's high-pitched demand.
"Wake up!"
I open my eyes and inhale sharply, focusing all my energy on neutralizing his power. My gaze sharpens into a glare, annoyance flashing across my features, but Frieza is undeterred.
He climbs onto my stomach, straddling my torso with his small form. His light weight forces painful pressure onto my wounds, sending a spike of discomfort through my chest. I try to push him off, but he clings to my clothes with stubborn determination.
"What do you want?" I snap, turning my head to the side, wincing as the effort sends a jolt of pain through me.
Frieza doesn't answer. Instead, he starts punching and scratching at my chest, his tiny hands pulling at my hair with no care for the pain he's causing.
Out of the corner of my eye, the nurse near the edge of the room, stnds up. She shifts her weight from one foot to the other, as if weighing her next , she straightens her posture and begins to walk toward us. Frieza's head snaps up, his crimson eyes narrowing as he catches sight of her approach.
"Don't touch me!" he shrieks, the room reverberating with his high-pitched cry. "Or I'll tell Papa!"
The nurse freezes mid-step, her face paling. She retreats a step, then turns abruptly, heading back to the station with hurried, uneven strides. Her fingers move quickly over the console, tapping out a sequence of buttons with precision. It doesn't take much to guess her intent—summoning the guards to handle the volatile young prince rather than risking a direct confrontation herself.
Without sparing the nurse a glance, Frieza points a small finger in her direction, the tip glowing with a menacing, crackling light. The air grows heavy as the energy gathers, a low hum vibrating through the room. My chest tightens and I inhale sharply as his intent becomes clear, drawing the power into myself just before it can discharge fully. Pain lances through my body from the suppression of his powerful ki, and the metallic taste of blood spreads across my tongue.
The nurse freezes for a heartbeat, her eyes wide with terror, before spinning on her heel and fleeing the room. Her frantic footsteps echo down the hall. I cough, wincing at the sharp ache in my ribs. Wiping my mouth, I stare at my hand, shocked to see a smear of fresh blood.
"Why did you do that? You traitor!" Frieza screams, his face contorting with rage. "I hate you! Die!" His tiny fists slam into my chest again, knocking the air from my lungs. Reflexively, I grab his little wrists, but he struggles, his small body wriggling as he tries to shake free.
"Frieza, is your father okay?" I ask, trying to divert his attention.
Frieza scowls, his eyes narrowing with suspicion. "He's fine. He's just busy. Why? Do you miss him?"
"No!" I laugh slightly, annoyed at his taunt. "I was just curious how bad that wound to the side of his chest was."
"Papa's not badly hurt," Frieza replies flatly, his tone dismissive.
As though sensing my discomfort, Frieza shifts his weight, his small form pressing harder against my wounds. I grimace and grip his wrists tighter, trying to hold him still, hoping the pressure will lessen the sting in my chest and prevent another blow.
"You're such a bad kid," I mutter through clenched teeth, letting out a half-laugh. "Get off me." I try to push him away, but it's useless.
Frieza glares at me with an angry expression. "You can't tell me what to do. I'm the prince."
"I'm your mother I can tell you to do whatever I want."
Frieza freezes for a moment, caught off guard by my words. His anger flares anew, and he responds in a tone that sounds more like a whine than a command. "Shut up! I'm the one in charge!"
"Oh really? I thought it was your father that ruled the universe, not you. Well I suppose you're still not ready. You haven't fought him in real battle yet."
"No! You're the one that's weak not me! Papa defeated you." He yells, and hits me harder as if trying to inflict as much pain as he can. Although I can't tell if his punches are getting stronger or if it's that he's really digging into my wounds on my chest. "I'll defeat him! You'll see."
I wince beneath his constant assault, my body wracked with pain. "If I'm weak, then how strong do you think you are? You can't even defeat your father. It's him you should be angry at."
Frieza's scowl deepens at my reply and he wrestles his hands out of my grip.
"You don't know what you're talking about! I'm the strongest…" His voice wavers, a lump forming in his throat before he forces out the rest. "I'll defeat Papa and... I'll be the strongest warrior in the universe!" His eyes shimmer with unshed tears as he begins to pound on me again, fists joined together, each strike harder than the last. "Then no one will ever tell me what to do again!"
His lip trembles and tears begin to run down his face as punches become weaker.
I'm unsure of what to say. My mind begins to wander as I look around the room for an indication of what time it is. Once I turn my attention back to frieza, he looks angrier than ever as tears run down his face. I lean back and his punches are less focused now and weaker now. He seems to just be lashing out in frustration.
"Why are you so angry, frieza?" I ask quietly, my voice soft.
"Shut up! Why do you care so much about Papa?" His words come out strangled, and he starts blubbering between his cries. "I'll be the ruler of the entire universe! Not him." His voice cracks, and with a frustrated, tearful scream, he hunches over and lowers his head, stopping his assault on me.
Frieza's cries escalate, turning into full sobs as he curls into me, his small fists clutching tightly at my clothes. For a moment, he looks so small, so young, so vulnerable. He's still angry, still frustrated at me, but there's something deeper, something buried beneath all the rage and resentment.
I reach out, my hand trembling slightly as I touch his cheek, gently wiping away the tears that continue to fall.
The bed is slightly elevated so I easily reach out and place my hands on his back and pull him into an embrace. His tiny hands tighten around me and his fingers begin to scratch at my sides as he fights to get away. Eventually he stops struggling and his hands painfully clench into fists tightly around me.
I lean down and kiss his wet eyelids, hoping the tenderness will get him to loosen his grip. After a moment, he pulls back slightly, and I finally see his tear-streaked face twisted in a deep scowl. He's quiet now as his entire body trembles.
I sense the ki energy of the soldiers approaching from down the hallway. The guards will be here soon so I have to move quickly if I want avoid any embarrassment. He'd be humiliated, and that would only worsen his anger.
Wincing in pain, I shift slightly, swinging my legs over the side of the bed with Frieza still in my lap. I grab the blanket, wrapping it around him and pulling him close. His face quickly buries itself in my chest, as if trying to hide his tears.
It's hard, but I manage to stand, holding him tightly in my arms. He clings to me, his small body trembling. I run a gentle hand along his back, swaying him slightly, hoping to soothe him as best as I can. Gradually, I feel the weight of his body relax, just a little, as his breathing slows, and his grip loosens.
Once he calms down a bit more, I carefully open the door, stepping into the hallway with Frieza still nestled in my arms. His face is buried against my chest, and the soft, uneven breaths he takes are the only sounds filling the space between us.
I carefully open the door. The hallway is eerily silent as I step out, cradling him close to me. Every movement sends a dull ache through my body, but it's bearable, likely due to the medicine still coursing through my veins.
The soldiers standing in the hallway glance at me with confusion and apprehension. They seem wary, their eyes flicking to the blanket in my arms. There's no mistaking it now—the rumors of my battle with King Cold have spread, and it's clear they're uneasy with my presence. Still, none of them dare question me as I pass, though I feel their gazes lingering on me.
I thought Frieza body was completely concealed under the blankets, but I look down and see his tail is hanging out, exposed. I unsuccessfully tried to scoop it up all the way, but nothing could prevent the stares from the soldiers as I passed by.
I make my way to my room and shut the door behind me. I sit down in the bed with frieza in my lap. I try to uncover him but he grips the blanket tighter and pulls it around to hide himself..
"Don't look at me!" he demands, his voice quiet but fierce, hiding the pain beneath.
I pull the blanket off his face and see that he indeed had started crying again. His face twists in frustration as he says, "I want everyone to die."
"What's wrong? Why is someone as strong as you crying?" I take his little hand in mine.
"Don't touch me!" Frieza he snaps, and tries to pull his hand away but I hold it in mine tightly. I touch his little hand and play with it to distract him. He sniffles, starting to calm down.
"There's so much ki energy that comes out of this hand, anyone would be jealous of your power." I say in a gentle voice. He seems to enjoy the attention and the compliment despite his silence.
I pick him up and put him next to me, and lay him down in the bed
"I can take care of myself." He used the back of his hand to wipe the tears from his eyes. "Stop treating me like a child."
"You are a child, frieza. I'm your mother I'm allowed to treat you however I see fit." I said to him sternly then sighed.
"I don't need anyone. Leave me alone."Frieza says as I gently brush his little cheek and he turns his head away.
"You've grown so fast. I'm sure you're not going to need your father or mother anymore either."
"I don't need anyone's help! I'll be the most powerful warrior in the universe and I'll do it on my own."
I pull the blanket over his curled up body as I say softly, "Of course you don't." Then I asked, "Are you ready to go to bed Frieza.?"
He doesn't reply and instead kicks off the blanket.
"Your father is going to keep you busy tomorrow. I heard that we'll be returning home soon." I say then after a moment I add. "I need to get some rest."
"Fine, go to sleep then. I don't care." He says, sitting up in the bed. He still sounds upset but he seems to be trying to hide it. I expected him to get up and leave but he doesn't.
I lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling. I can't sleep, I'm too worried about what will happen when we return to the palace. Or if he'll come and begin his sick punishment now.
I turn my head and look over at frieza, now he's sitting on the other side of the bed, looking out the window at the stars and planets nearby.
"They're so pretty aren't they? Maybe one day your father will let me to put up the ki projection of them for you."
"Yes, they're fascinating. Papa said I'll be able to destroy a real planet without him soon." he said still looking out at space.
"I would love to see it." I encourage him, although I really I shouldn't have.
"I'll be the most powerful being in the universe, and you'll be there to see it." He said with pride in his voice.
"I'm sure you will be. "
I close my eyes and drift off to sleep
I wake some time later. I glance over and see Frieza is sleeping peacefully nearby on the bed, curled up with his tail wrapped around his small body. Frieza begins to stir and he turns to face me, still asleep. He starts to kick me with his feet and I try to move away a little as he mumbles something in his sleep.
Neither the guards nor King Cold have come to see me and I figure Frieza must be the one who has been assigned to keep me under supervision. A child who isn't mature enough to watch over himself is supposed to ensure I can't escape. It was almost laughable. As I watch him sleeping peacefully I smile slightly.
As quickly as the joy appears it vanishes.
I'll have to face my punishment soon. There's no telling what that sicko has planned. I try to push the thought from my mind and slowly try to get up out of the bed.
A dull ache radiates across my entire body as I move. Frieza starts to wake up. I swing my legs over the edge as Frieza sits up and rubs his eyes. He looks around, still groggy from sleep.
"Why are you still here?" Frieza says angrily. "This is my room. Get out!" he yells as he pushes me away. I try to stand up, but I'm still to weak. I lose my balance and fall onto the floor on my knees, catching myself with my hands.
"You were crying and wouldn't calm down." I remind him. "So I didn't leave."
"I'm old enough to sleep by myself. Stop treating me like a baby!" He says coldly, as if I didn't see him fall asleep of his own accord. Frieza gets up and quickly leaves the room, shutting the door behind him.
I try to stand up again but fall back onto the bed and groan in pain and frustration, waiting for my body to recover. I lay there, staring up at the ceiling, wishing I could get out of bed. I crawl back under the blankets and I fall back asleep.
Some time later I wake up. I try to get up again but the medication has worn off and it's even more painful. I slowly sit up and swing my legs over the edge. I manage to stand up and I lean against the wall. I pause for a moment and take a couple deep breaths, trying to regain my strength.
I slowly make my way towards the door, using the wall for support. My legs are shaky and unstable but I manage to get to the door. I try to open it but it's locked. I lean against the door, trying to catch my breath before unlocking it.
I limp through the ship, trying to find my way around. Guards on board quickly move out of the way and watch me carefully as I pass, they seem very apprehensive and suspicious of my presence now.
I eventually find the library and I walk inside.
The ship seems empty, except for the sound of my footsteps. Everyone must be congregated in one part of the ship, I figure. I quietly walk around, looking for a book to read.
I find a book on alien technology and take it with me as I walk towards the hospital ward. I'm hoping that reading will help me take my mind off of the pain and anxiety from the impending confrontation with King Cold. When I get to the hospital ward, I sit down and wait for the nurse to come change my bandages.
I take a deep breath and try to relax as the nurse changes my bandages. I grit my teeth as the pain is intense and I can't help flinch every time she touches a particularly sore spot. After she's finished, she gives some medicine and leaves the room.
I return back to my room and I see one of the servants must have brought me something. The dish is an odd shade of blue and it's similar to what i've tried before, but it somehow tastes different then how I remember it. Later I enter the bathroom. I examine myself in the mirror, still covered in faint bruises and my tail feels sore when I lift it high. I sigh and turn on the shower, and enter.
The hot water stings my skin, but eventually I get used to it. I sit on the floor of the shower and lift my legs up so I can rest my head on my knees. My tail wraps around me, as it lays on the shower floor. I close my eyes and try to relax, but I can't help but feel uneasy as the water washes over me. Something about this ship doesn't feel right, and I can't shake the feeling that it's not safe here.
As I'm in the shower, I hear a noise coming from outside the bathroom. It sounds like someone is trying to open the door. I turn off the water and stand up, listening carefully. The noise stops and everything goes quiet again. I wait for a few moments, but there's no more sound. I dry myself off then cautiously exit the bathroom.
The solders in the ship quickly move out of my way and become oddly silent as I pass, their behavior wasn't too surprising, it seems as though there was order of caution in regards to me.
I make my way back to my room and lock the door behind me. I climb into bed and pull the covers over me, hoping that I can get some sleep despite the pain.I close my eyes and try to fall asleep, but I can't seem to get comfortable. The pain is still bothering me and I toss and turn in bed, trying to find a position that doesn't hurt.
I wake up in the middle of the night and I hear some quick footsteps in the room. I sit up and look around, my heart racing from the unexpected sound. I sit there quietly for a couple minutes listening closely, but the only thing I can hear is the sound of my own breath. As I begin to calm and lower my guard I look out at the stars outside the spaceships window as the spaceship moves, feeling empty yet anxious.
After a while, I finally drift off to sleep.
In a few hours I wake to the ship's announcement that we're approaching our destination. Soon the spaceship will be orbiting king cold's home planet ready to land. I sit up in bed and move to the end.
I'll have to face him soon and there's no telling what kind of sick punishment he's already decided upon. Just the thought coming to mind made me feel ill.
I stand up and walk through the room to peak outside the door, there is a bustle of commotion and activity on the spaceship. I shut the door behind me and lock it. I quickly retreat back into my room and retrieve my book from a nearby desk and get back my bed to get some peace and quiet.
Curling into the soft cushions of the armchair, I open the book on starship piloting. ' Pages filled with intricate diagrams and complex equations unfolded before me. My eyes scanned the pages, absorbing the information as best I can.
Could I ever be at the helm of such a magnificent vessel, even though King cold insists driving is for the help? A flicker of defiance ignited upon remembering King Cold's dismissive words. I'm not sure of my position anymore, but I doubt it would be allowed even with extensive training.
The ship has so many different systems and components, and it's hard to keep track of it all. With a quick read, I feel like I'm just scratching the surface of what the ship is capable of. A peculiar chapter catches my eye, and I flip to the end of the book and read up on the simpler part on what to do during an emergency.
An hour passes and outside the window I look at the grand planet before us as now the ship settles into orbit.
As the ship descended, a breathtaking panorama unfolded. Towering crystal spires pierced the sky, their icy surfaces reflecting the artificial sunlight. Below, a sprawling metropolis of gleaming white structures stretched towards the horizon, connected by a network of luminescent pathways. Hovering vehicles of various shapes and sizes filled the sky, their engines casting iridescent trails as they moved with graceful efficiency.
A couple minutes later the ship lands and an announcement is made that king cold and frieza will be exiting soon to be greeted by their subjects on their home planet.
In nervous anticipation I put down my book. I linger on the ship for a few more minutes to make sure they've left before I exit onto the cold planet. I can't find my armor or my blade so I wrap a loose fabric over my dress and head hoping to conceal my presence and avoid attention.
Eventually the commotion calms down and I step outside. I'm immediately greeted by a cold wind blowing on my face, the air is crisp and clean, and I look up into the a pale grey sky. Some of the barren rocks around were covered in a thin layer of ice, I muse to myself how misled I would be if I had tried to guess the temperature by the way it looks. As I would never truly know how cold this planet was until I had stepped foot here myself.
In the distance, I see large crowds gathered, all of them cheering and waving as King Cold and Frieza approach.
I try to sneak past the crowd and into King Cold's palace. I step forward and blend in with the crowd, trying to make my way towards the palace without drawing any attention.
I'm almost at the palace gates when I hear frieza call for me. I glance back ignore him as I keep moving
Frieza laughs as he watches me from at a distance "Mama!Your battle power is high, are you trying to escape again?"
I stop in my tracks.I turn around and I'm surprised to see how quickly he snuck up behind me. He's wearing his scouter, with a smug smile on his face.
"I'm going inside to rest." I turn away, not looking at him.
"Papa wants to speak to you."
I don't reply.
Frieza notices my worried expression and his smile grows wider. "What's the matter? Are you scared? You should be. He's very angry with you."
"That's enough, frieza." I scold. "I'm not going to see him right now."
Frieza shrugs and steps aside, gesturing for me to pass. "Suit yourself. But you'll regret it. Papa isn't known for his mercy."
"He'll have to make an exception then,"
Suddenly two guards grab me from behind and hold my arms tight. I struggle to get away in surprise. Frieza snickers with his fist covering his mouth as he taunts. me" I told you so." he snickers and exaggerates his next words. "Papa is veerry mad."
"This is a direct order from King Cold. You are to come with us to receive your punishment immediately." One of the tall guards says, and I stop fighting against them and allow the guards drag me away
The arena is a stark, circular chamber, its walls slick and devoid of any adornment. A single spotlight illuminates the center of the space, casting harsh shadows that dance across the polished floor. It is here that King Cold has chosen to stage his latest spectacle. A many guards surround the arena with expectant by your arms and legs, you are unceremoniously dumped into the arena. The heavy metal door slams shut behind you, the sound echoing through the confined space. As your eyes adjust to the dim light, you see them: a menagerie of terror. Savage beasts, their eyes gleaming with predatory intent, circle restlessly in the ring. Towering reptilian creatures with razor-sharp teeth, sleek cat-like predators with retractable claws, and a hulking, horned behemoth all prowl the edges, waiting for their moment.
You glance up toward the high balcony above, barely making out the silhouette of King Cold behind large, clear windows. He watches you with a cruel smile, arms crossed, surveying the scene as though savoring your impending fate. Around him stand Sorbet and a few officers, unfamiliar faces to you, observing with cold indifference.
"Are you ready for your punishment?" King Cold's thunderous voice reverberates throughout the chamber.
You don't respond, glaring up at him in defiance. Not liking the silence, King Cold fires a small energy beam from his finger, striking you. Pain sears through your body as the blast hits. The wild beasts around you grow even more excited, responding to your cry of pain. They claw and bite at you, tearing through your clothes and the ropes binding your limbs.
"Why are you doing this? You've already punished me!" you shout, struggling against the creatures.
No response comes.
"I see. You don't care if I live or die, do you?"
King Cold chuckles darkly, his voice filled with mockery. "I've already made it easy for you, my love. You're so fond of escaping, after all."
A ripple of laughter comes from the officers nearby, enjoying their lord's cruel jest.
You roll out of the way, dodging a swipe from one of the reptilian beasts. Before it can recover, you lash out with your tail, striking it squarely in the jaw. It staggers back, roaring in pain.
Your movements grow more frantic as you free yourself from the ropes. Without hesitation, you launch yourself at the nearest beast, claws extended. You grapple with the creature before managing to break free, watching as it thrashes around, slamming into the walls in a frenzy.
Suddenly, the horned beast charges at you. You barely manage to sidestep, but its arm catches you, sending you flying across the arena. You hit the ground hard, the impact knocking the wind from your lungs. Gasping for air, you see the creatures closing in, their savage intent palpable. Adrenaline courses through your veins, forcing you back to your feet.
From the balcony, King Cold watches with growing amusement. "I'm still not satisfied. Show me more of your tricks, won't you? These beasts are far less forgiving than I am."
Desperation kicks in. You aim your hand toward him, summoning an energy beam to fire at him. But before it even forms, King Cold effortlessly nullifies your power, the ki dissipating around you. Without your energy, you rely on sheer agility, darting and twisting to avoid the creatures' relentless attacks.
King Cold's amusement turns to irritation. His face tightens as he raises a hand. "Hold her down! Don't let her escape!"
An officer responds immediately. "As you command, Your Majesty. Lower the crane!"
A lever is pulled, and from above, a large, claw-like contraption descends from the ceiling. Before you can react, it clamps around your body, trapping you within its metallic grip. The claw tightens, lifting you from the ground, and you're suspended in the air, dangling helplessly from a hook high above the arena.
You try to wriggle free, but it's hopeless. As gradually as King Cold motions to his guards, and the claw lowers your further into the pit. The wild beasts in the bite and scratch at you with their claws. Your tails knocks some back, not fully protecting her and legs from their assault. The beasts try to take bites from your flesh, making cuts in your skin.
"Sir, they are likely to eat her alive if we don't… take necessary precautions." Sorbet said in a hurried yet hushed tone.
King cold's eye twitches and he doesn't reply. After he a moment Cold says loudly.
"I prefer to kept you in one piece, so I'll go easy on you."
The guards around look at King Cold expectantly as if waiting for his next order. Yet he stands there, arms crossed, his face expressionless as he watches you continue struggle against the wild animals.
"Stop! You've done enough!" you yell trashing around in your restraints, and a smug smiles appears on his face. He doesn't care.
"No, this isn't enough yet...it will never be enough. And don't think I'm being cruel or heartless. If I didn't do this, it would be that much worse for you."
"Prince Frieza wants to enter!" An officers voice calls out from the balcony above. The sound of a hushed conversation nearby gradually grows louder. You struggle and kicks the beasts away while suspended in the air, the lines of cable the crane is attach you allow you to swing out of their way slightly.
Out of the corner of your eye, you spot King Cold heated discussion with his guards, but can't quite make out what they are saying.
Taking advantage of this distraction you summon up your ki energy and push with your whole body against the device gripping you to wriggle free and escape. Freed, you fall to the ground on your hands and knees, gasping for breath.
Standing up quickly you fire multiple ki blasts from your two fingers at each of the beasts' heads, killing them instantly.
Upon hearing the noise, King Cold turns back towards the arena and looks furious. His outstretched hand suppresses your ki energy, rendering you powerless again. You hunch over from the sudden influx of pain and the ki energy that was helping you stand.
"Don't get too cocky. You're nothing without your power," he says coldly as he smirks, arms crossed.
"You shouldn't have given me a chance to use it." You say defiantly as you look up towards the balcony where he is.
The smile quickly disappeared from his face and his icy gaze locks onto you."You think you're clever, don't you?"
"Guards! Lift her up!" King Cold motions with his arm as he commands his officers. The metal claw jets out from the ceiling, binding her entire body as it gripped her tightly. It lifts you up, and your suspended in the air once more in the middle of the space.
King Cold walks out on a high platform jutting out almost to where she is raised.
"You're still resisting my power."
Her whole body struggles as she's suspended in the air. "Get away from me you monster!" she manages to say, her chest constricting against the tight pressure.
King Cold looks unimpressed and slaps her hard across the face. She cries out in pain and blood trickles from her mouth.
"Don't forget who's in charge here," he sneered, his voice dripping with contempt. She shut her eyes, refusing to meet his gaze. "Need a reminder?" Cold taunted, lifting her chin up with his finger. "It's not you." A deep, mocking laugh escaped his lips.
"I could never forget."
He merely nods. He's seems pleased by her comment. "Good, I'm glad you understand," he replies in a cold voice, "Although I'm sure I'll still have to remind you every now and then."
"There's no need." She lowered her head. "I understand."
"I could spare you, but only if you prove yourself. Thenn I may considering amending the plans I have for you. —show me you are worthy of receiving my mercy."
Without turning back towards his guards, King cold motions with his hand and she is released. The guards, standing at attention, immediately shift, moving to fulfil his command and she falls chest first onto the hard platform.
"Now, kneel before me beg, and perhaps you'll be granted a reprieve." Cold says, his tone cold and unyielding. "Don't make me repeat myself; I won't ask so nicely next time." He placed a firm hand on her shoulder, forcing her to kneel before him.
"You'll never be satisfied by pleas for mercy," she shot back defiantly as she was forced onto her knees.
King Cold's expression twisted, a mix of anger and twisted delight at her defiance. With a swift motion, he kicked her in the ribs, sending her sprawling onto her side. She gasped for breath, wincing in pain.
"Ah, you're proving to be a rather stubborn pupil," he said, a hint of amusement lacing his voice. "You're fortunate I'm a patient teacher." He watched as she silently moved to bow before with her face down, her hands pressed onto the cold hard floor.
A smirk curled at the corners of his lips. "In time, you will learn to appreciate the benefits of serving under my command. With the right training, you might even transform into a valuable asset for my army."
Her fingers tightened into fists. "How long before I am released?" she asked quietly.
King Cold's voice drips with amusement as he laughs. Oh, this is just the appetizer— a mere taste of the grand banquet yet to come. The real feast is yet to be served, my dear."
"Haven't you grown tired of your old tricks?" she replied, still keeping her head bowed.
"I had something else in mind, but I suspect you might find it rather dull compared to your other punishments," he said, a glint of malice in his eyes. "I can sense your eagerness to know what's next; rest assured, I am far from finished with you. Soon , you'll grasp the futility of resisting my authority."
"I already understand this." She crawled slightly closer and planted a gentle kiss on his foot, a sign of worship on this planet. The area fell completely silent for a few moments before he spoke.
"We're done here." King cold says firmly."Take her to where we discussed." King cold turns away from them.
"Yes of course your majesty! I will have the soldiers take her right away." Sorbet says quickly with a hint of nervousness in his voice, walking over to her with a device in his hand. "
The guards pick her up carry her by her arms as Sorbet walks behind them.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I slump down forward as they drag me out of there. We enter a long dark tunnel.
Now out of sight of King cold I say. "Where are we going?" I say weakly, coughing up some blood in my mouth and spitting it out.
"That's confidential information. We will be arriving soon to where you will be held."
"Can I go back to the healing chamber? My chest hurts. It might be serious."
"You're fine." Sorbet assures.
I scowl at his response yet remain silent. I may be seriously injured. Is he stupid or did he see right through my act?
"I saw the whole fight. We're not going to take a detour." Sorbet says firmly, walking ahead of the guards carrying me.
Fight? I didn't even get to have a crack at him this time. His face needs to taste my fist. How many have seen our fights? Everyone on board must know by now. Isn't that embarrassing to him in the slightest? It doesn't matter. He's planning to kill me.
"I see."I say quietly through a strained breath.
"I wasn't told to send anyone to help you recover. But since King cold allowed it earlier I already sent for few medics from the palace to come and see your wounds. However, you won't be allowed the healing chamber unless you are in critical condition."
I almost sigh with relief, hoping this is attempt to try to repay me for my help in the past.
Sorbet steps ahead and unlocks the cell door. They let go of me in the cell then lock the door behind me.
Giant section here I am going to put later.
I am left there for several hours unattended.
I'm lying in my bed with my eyes closed about to take another a nap when suddenly I'm startled to the sound of dangling keys unlocking my cell door. I listen closely as I try to determine who it is. The sound of small feet quickly running across the floor quickly clued me in and I open my eyes.
"Why are you here?" I say, not turning to look at him.
"Papa asked me to come down here to help him torture you, so you'll stop being a traitor." frieza says with a hint of amusement in his voice, standing outside the cell door with a big grin on his face.
"You've done enough already. Get out." I say turning over in the bed away from him.
"You'll need to learn your lesson or Papa's gonna lock you up forever!" he exaggerated his next words."You'll be stuck here all alone for a very looong time. Aren't you scared?
Frieza's taunts of me being left here alone permanently almost make me wish it was true.
"I'm terrified." I reply flatly.
"It's me you should be afraid of! Not him." Frieza says, puffing out his chest with a proud smirk on his face. "That's why he sent me. I'm going to teach you a lesson!"
"What lesson? No one told me about that." I say, feigning innocence.
"You'll see!" Frieza ignores me, and jumps on the bed and begins kicking me in my sides repeatedly with his small legs.
"Go away." I sit up and push him away with my hand on his chest. He takes a step back and looks offended. I struggle to get off the bed and stand up.
Frieza looked at me angrily and yelled. "I hate you!"
I ignore him, knowing he's trying to get a reaction from me.
He says it again louder." I said I hate you!"
"I hate you too!" I snap back, losing my patience.
Frieza's face contorts in anger at first but then he smiles. "I can't wait to tell papa what you said."
My hand itches to slap that smug smile off his face, but instead I look away and try to calm myself. I limp over to the side of the cell and grab my glass of water and take a sip.
I wince, as he runs over and kicks me with his small legs. My knees buckle and I almost drop my glass of water, spilling some on the floor.
I glare at him before I teleport. His head whips to the other side of the room and he looks very surprised.
I drink some water then say, "You're lucky I didn't throw your toys out."
"Shut up!" Frieza snaps. "You're lying, you wouldn't do that." then he taunts, "You're weak. "
I laugh and add. "Get out of here, I'm sure your father is very busy and needs your help."
I finish the glass of water, and set it down on a nearby table, then looked at frieza in the eyes. "You think I'm weak? Just a couple weeks ago, you were in my arms, crying about how one day you'd be more powerful than your father. I didn't realize it upset you so much."
"That's a lie! I didn't cry about that."
" …Or maybe was it because you hated being made to take a bath without your toys?"
He clenches his fists by his sides. "Stop making fun of me! I'll make sure you pay." frieza yells, and I can see the embarrassment in his face.
"And what will you do to make me pay?"
"I'll kill you!" he throws the keys down and lunges at you, but you move out of the way in the nick of time."I'll become the ruler of the universe. And I'll make sure you never betray us. Unlike papa, he's too weak." he says proudly. "I'll be more powerful than him and you'll fear me!
I quickly bend down to pick up the keys as he's distracted . The sudden movement was painful, but I walk out of the cell as quickly as I can and lock the door behind me.
"Where are you going? You can't leave. " Frieza runs towards the edge of the cell, gripping the bars and says angrily. "I'm gonna tell Papa and you're going to be in big trouble!"
"Away from you." I say bluntly. "If your father asks where I went, go ahead. Tell him I couldn't handle the torture from you and escaped again." I say, really pushing my luck. I'm toast if he says that to him.
I take a few steps away, no intention to really leave.
"Let me out right now!" He reaches out past the cell bars toward me. "I'll destroy this whole place. I won't let you get away!"
After a couple seconds I stop and glance back. He's very angry, and for a moment I wonder if maybe I should leave him like that for just a little while.
He screams louder in frustration and he's starts summoning his ki energy, preparing the blast the room to get out of the cell.. I take a deep breath, neutralizing his power then turn around to face him.
"You convinced me. I'll stay here."
I walk back and unlock the cell door. He immediately grabs onto my dress and pulls me back into my cell. He lets go of me and I walk towards the other side of my cell.
"Calm down. I was just joking. Don't worry, I'm not trying to escape yet. At least not right now." I sit down on the bed.
"You're the one who's going to be scared! Not me." he says with a pout. "I don't care if you leave."
I sit back down on my bed, and close my eyes trying to tune him out.
"Papa's going to punish you again." he says with a fiendish smirk. "He said he's going to teach you a lesson you won't forget."
He's coming to see me? Would this be a chance to beg for mercy to end my imprisonment? No, what I am I thinking? Beg for mercy from that bastard again? No way. I'd rather die.
"I don't care." I lay down and I rest my head on my pillow. "I'm not afraid of him. " I lie, trying to sound confident although my heart is racing now from just his mention.
I suppose I'm really not looking forward to seeing him again. After a moment I sigh, then close my eyes, hoping my son eventually leaves.
He swipes out the pillow out from underneath my head and throws it on the floor. I try to ignore him but watch him out of the corner of my eye as he fervently rips it up with his hands. He jumps on it multiple times and the stuffing of the pillow scatters across the floor.
"You make me so mad! Get out!" I sit up, propping myself up on my elbow and resting my head on my hand. "When I get out of here, you'll regret treating me so bad."
"What are you going to do? Are you going to cry?' he snickers. "You should feel bad."
I lay back down in the bed and turn away from him, closing my eyes.
He puts his hands on my back and shakes me. "Wake up!" He hits me a couple times.
I try my best not to move and give no reaction.
After a couple seconds of silence he relents.
"I'm bored. I'm leaving." Frieza says, seemingly unsatisfied with my lack of a response. He turns to leave and locks the cell door behind him as he exists. Once he is finally gone I finally have a semblance of peace underground in these dark and cold cells.
With nothing to entertain you, you spent you from countless hours doing all from counting the frozen droplets on the walls and ceilings and folding origami with your blanket, to practicing the art of ki manipulation to form different planets and stars in secret. You almost began to hope for some sort of reprieve in the form a spaceship collision into a planet or another invasion onboard. Or some sort terrible emergency that would distract everyone, almost killing us all. Anything to allow a brief escape to gather more supplies from the palace and entertain yourself.
Or you really wished for a visitor with the good news of your soon release. Although you knew at this point it was far more likely for the opposite to occur, or King cold to come to personally announce whatever sort new sick punishment he's spent his time thoroughly conjuring up for you.
You were expecting something else, anything but this. The torture that was promised never came, and instead you were down here many days passed with nothing to do.
It's was terribly boring.
Foolishly, you decided to slip away from the cell, your invisibility power making you almost completely unseen. Carefully avoiding the guards, you snuck back inside the King cold's large palace."
It was almost too easy to sneak around undetected. There wasn't as many guards around right now and you couldn't sense King cold's ki nearby. Those nearby with scouters didn't even seem to be suspicious as your low power level carefully moved through the palace. You managed to collect an assortment of snacks from the palace and put them in a bag as well as some instructional books on how to operate spaceships.
You return back to your cell and enjoy your bounty, munching on snacks and reading through the books.
Another day passes. The next morning, an unexpected visitor appears at your cell. You squint, vision still blurry from sleeping in an uncomftable position and being awoken suddenly. I try to make out who it is. It's a different guard of King Cold, holding a food tray in his hands. I look down to then I sit up in a panic upon realizing I had fallen asleep with my face resting on my book.
I quickly try to shove it under my pillow, no time hide the evidence well. I've carefully hid everything else, but forgot this.
"Hey you!" The guard yells,"What did you try to hide? "The guard put down the tray on a nearby table and starts unlocking the cell.
"If you come in here I'll kill you." You threaten.
"A nameless prisoner, trying to threaten me?" The guard says pridefully. " You wouldn't dare attack a guard of King cold if you want to live another day."
I scoff at his ignorance. He didn't know who I was? Do they not include that in orientation or is he an idiot?
"Try me." You bluff, attempting to sound menacing, but his confidence was far more convincing than my feeble attempt at intimidation.
"Who gave you that?" The guard questions angrily."Me and my comrades would be more than happy to force to you confess who was the traitor and then report our findings to King cold."
"Investigate all you want. I don't care." You taunt.
The guard lunges forward toward me to grabs the book, but you struck him with your tail. He trips falling backwards onto his rear, but managed to keep the book in his hands. The guard's eyes grow wide. "How dare you do that to an esteemed guard of King Cold! You will be punished!"
You expect him to get back up to fight, but instead runs to lock the door to the cell. "I will report this to the King right away."the guard says. Your heart sinks as he runs away with the book.
"Bastard."I curse under my breath. He'll tell King cold every little thing I did wrong and I'll be in here even longer. I sigh in exasperation as I lay back on the bed and push my face into my pillow.
As the hours tick by, I resist the urge to find other entertainment, in expectation of another visit from him. But as time drags on, restlessness creeps in, and I can't help but wonder,'Why has no one else come down here yet?'
I was expecting a visit King cold, but instead someone else came down to investigate my cell. They searched the room thoroughly, but didn't find anything I had carefully hidden.
Another day passed and I overhear from my cell that King cold's guards were still searching the palace for a spy or a traitor. I continued reading my books one by one, careful to teleport and conceal any remaining evidence. You stay vigilant, prepared to hide them quickly in case of another sudden investigation."
Sometime later that day an alarm went off, followed by the sound of an explosion coming from above the ground.
I sit up in the bed, curious as to what was going on. I quickly hid the evidence and after a couple minutes there is a high power level heading towards your cell.
You recognize that energy. You hope it's anyone but him. A hero swooping in to rescue you, a savior in your darkest hour, anything would be preferable to seeing his ugly ass walk up in here. Despite the unlikelihood of such an event, you can't help but wish it was true.
King cold steps before your cell with a furious look on his face, "Who was it that brought you this?" He demands, holding the book up before the metal cell bars.'
I'm silent, unable to think of something to say.
King cold let out an aggravated sigh, then unlocks the cell and walks over to me.
"I have been away with Frieza, but because of your actions I have returned home early." he bends down grabbing me by my shirt, and effortlessly lifts me off the ground.
"I'm glad to see you again." I say through a stained breath as I am held tightly in the air.
"I won't let you try to avoid answering me. Who brought you this. "King cold raises the book up as he tightens his grip on my shirt, "Tell me now!" he orders
I wait a couple seconds trying to summon up the courage to reply.
"Who was it?!" he demands again
"I did it! You know these cells can't hold me!" I yell, struggling to break free from his grip as he holds me in the air.
"Answer me! Why did you try and escape?
"I didn't try to escape.I wanted to see you."I foolishly tried to change the conversation."I shouldn't have snuck out for even a moment, but I didn't know you had left. I missed you." He threw me down. I land on the hard cell floor and wince from the impact.
"You think you can fool me? I'm not deceived by your flattery. " He fires a weak ki blast at me, enough to send pain shooting throughout my body. "This is your final warning. I won't tolerate your disobedience."
"It's not a lie! I never wanted to escape. That's why I didn't destroy my scouter." I say weakly and King Cold lifts me up again. "I just needed a break. "
"You expect me to believe you wanted to be captured again? Your feeble attempts at defiance no longer amuse me." He says harshly as he spoke." You'll regret trying to deceive me. "
He put his hand on my face, holding my chin so I face him."I'll deal with you later." King cold throws me back onto the floor and I fall onto my back. He turns away from me. "I have more important matters to attend to right now." He says coldly.
"Wait! How much longer must I be here? I can be more useful to you in the palace."
"You think I'll let you out now?" King cold says with a sneer. "You will remain here until you earn my trust, until then, it is going to become far more difficult for you now." King Cold says, turning and exiting the room. He closes and locks the door behind him. Another two days pass in the cell and nobody brings me any form of sustenance.
After about a week a few guards arrive at my cell. "King cold is waiting for you in his throne room. We will escort you there."
I comply without question and follow the guards obidently, I try to calm my nerves and prepare myself for the upcoming conversation with King Cold. With the entrance to his throne room now in view I can feel my heart racing in my chest.
My gaze swept the large room as we off to the side I see berryblue, kikono, and various other high ranking officers standing among the others. The ginyu force casually lounges off to the right around at a small table with a tea set.
King Cold is sitting on a throne in the grand hall of the palace, surrounded by his advisors and servants. He's talking to one of his advisors, but when he sees me, he stops and stands up crossing his arms. He looks me up and down, his expression stern and unforgiving.
"You made me wait." he asks, his voice cold and sharp. As though sensing the change in the atmosphere the crowd around him moves off to the side of the room.
A couple seconds pass and I don't reply, instead I meet his gaze for a moment and I swallow thickly. Two guards walk beside me and lead me to the center of the room before King cold.
"Kneel before me." King cold commands, his gaze stern.
There are many other soldiers standing guard at different posts. I can sense their eyes are on me, and I freeze for a moment and mind goes blank, hesitating to obey his command.
"Have I not made myself clear? Get down on your knees and beg for your life." King cold.
The room falls silent as a soldier on each of my sides force me onto my knees.
What was his intention? Just to humiliate me publicly? What if they begin to spread rumors of this? He had always kept his abuse private. Wasn't he concerned this would hurt his reputation?
That's when it hit me. I had already damaged our public face and humiliated him throughly with my very well known escape attempt. The blow I inflicted upon his pride was far greater than I had anticipated if these are the lengths he is willing to go. *
I lean forward and press my hands and face onto the floor.
"I beg for your forgiveness, my King. I failed you. I'm a traitor, but I'm very sorry for my disobedience. Please give me another chance. Your power is unmatched, I should have never challenged you. I assure you this won't happen again. Allow me to serve you once more." A collective murmur of disapproval swept through the room as I keep my head bowed low.
I glance up, embarrassed to be doing this in front of countless servants looking on. The humiliation is almost unbearable. I don't dare meet his gaze for long. His expression remains impassive, and I sense he is far from satisfied.
"Is this all you have to offer?" His voice is low, carrying a chilling undertone. . A sinister smile crept across his face."I don't feel very lenient."
"No, my lord. I... I will do anything you ask. I deeply respect you. I know now I can't live without you. I love you. Please allow me to be your wife." I bow my head lower hiding my face, cringing from shame.
"Anything? Even if it means humiliating yourself in front of your old servants?"A cruel smile creeps across his lips.
My face starts to burn up in shame, I'm not sure how much more of this I can take.
"Oh, my beloved, please forgive me. I missed you so much when I was gone I could hardly stand it. I wanted to return but I was too ashamed of what I had done. I long to be with you once more, but I don't deserve the great mercy you've bestowed upon me."
A cold, mirthless laugh escaped King Cold's lips. "Is this supposed to be amusing?" His voice echoed through the chamber, carrying a hint of icy disdain. "You dare to speak of love after defying me? Your pleas fall on deaf ears."
There was small snicker among the crowd. Those in the room looked toward the door where it had come from. The ripple of amusement erupted into a loud childish laugh as Frieza burst through the doorway. He clutches his stomach his tiny frame shaking with hysterical giggles and screeches as he falls to his knees and rolls on the floor
That's when I realize I would rather take another beating then keep doing this. I slowly stand up keeping my head down.
"Take her away. I've heard more than enough." King cold commands and I glance up. He has a huge smirk on his face as if enjoying every moment of this humiliation. The guards roughly grab me by both of my arms and I'm dragged towards the exit. Frieza sticks out his tongue and makes a face mocking me. My hands itch to slap that little smug smile off his face as I walk past him.
The guards toss you back in your cell and shut the door behind. now locked back in the cold dark prison cells. There is a gentle rumbling outside from an snowstorm just beyond these walls. You muse to yourself how nice it would be to just step out for a second and freeze to death. It's the only thing that would certainty numb all the painful memories from earlier that day, albeit at the small price of losing your life.
A few hours later there is an unexpected visitor at your room.
Berryblue unlocks the cell door and enters the cell. Upon seeing who it is, you sit up in the your bed and swings your legs over the edge.
"I... I don't know what to do, Berryblue. I'm trapped here, and he doesn't trust me at all," you confess quietly as your shoulders slump forward.
Berry Blue flies closer, her expression one of thoughtful contemplation. "You're in a tough spot, that's for sure. But running away was a gamble, and you lost. Your actions must have consequences. Now, you need to play your cards right. Show him you've learned your lesson."
"I didn't want to betray him. I just I needed a break…a moment to breathe." You lower your head, resting it in your hands."I didn't want to disappear forever. I knew that if I didn't destroy my scouter he would eventually find me again. But for a while, I hoped he'd just leave me there."
Berry Blue leans forward. "Listen closely. King Cold rules this universe, and challenging him was a terrible mistake. But if you wish to repair your relationship, you must approach it with submission and not defiance. Respect, not rebellion. Show him you've learned your lesson. This is a delicate situation, but if you're careful, you can earn his trust with time."
"I never know how he's going to react. I'm afraid to be around him," you admits, her voice barely a whisper.
"I used to feel the same way many years ago, but eventually I became very in tune with picking up subtle cues to assist him better. You've put yourself in a precarious position, and you must focus on rebuilding his trust. Remember, every interaction isn't a battle."
"He humiliated me and made me beg for his mercy in front of everyone. I'm so ashamed." You lean forward and rests your head in your hands. "I can't face him again after that."
Berry Blue flies next to you and gently places her hand on your shoulder. "He was trying to teach you a lesson. This is a step closer to freedom. You will need to regain his trust, it will be hard, but not impossible. " Berryblue says, "Now, I would like you to come with me. I was sent to retrieve you as the young prince requested your presence."
"He did?" I look up, surprised. "Why? Is something wrong?"
Berry Blue smiles reassuringly. "Nothing like that. You'll see. He wants to ask you himself."
"It's really cold outside. I'm not sure if I can handle anything colder than this cell."
"We'll go by the tunnels that leads to the palace."
The dim corridor stretches out before them. with Berryblue as her guide they walk down a long cold winding tunnel. Your chains clank rhythmically as you walk. The artificial light casts eerie shadows on the damp walls. The air grows colder and drier as you walk and ascend higher, a stark contrast to the fresh, warm air you crave.
Berry Blue stops for a moment and enters a nearby room, and you wait as she rummages through a small chest nearby. After a few moments, she emerges and pulls out a thick, fur-lined coat. "Here, put this on," she says, flying over to hand it to her. "It'll keep you warm."
You hesitate for a moment before carefully pulling the coat over yourself. The warmth is immediate and comforting, a stark contrast to the chilling air of the prison.
As they reached the end of the corridor, a heavy metal door came into view. Berry Blue pressed a series of buttons, and with a soft hum, the door slid open, revealing a sleek, silver elevator. "This will take us up to the palace," she explains as she flies into it.
I follow her in and the elevator ascends smoothly, the walls a gleaming expanse of polished metal. I grip the handrail tightly, as chill seeps into my skin. A moment of quiet passes between us, the only sound the soft hum of the machine.
When the elevator doors slide open, they are met with a lavishly decorated corridor, its walls adorned with tapestries and gold accents. The air is warmer in here with a relaxing scent. Berry Blue leads the way, flying over the plush carpet.
Finally, they arrive at a grand, ornate door.
"Could you remove the chains from my wrists before I enter?" I ask
Berryblue nods, quickly slipping out the key from her pocket and unlocking the chains, then hanging them up nearby.. Then Berryblue knocks gently on the door. "Young prince," she calls out, "your mother has arrived."
They wait for a little while. After getting no response, berryblue pushes open the door to his dimly lit bedroom. In the center of the room, a small figure lies curled up in a large bed, his breathing rapid and uneven. Berryblue turns the lights on.
"Is everything alright Frieza?" You say.
Frieza suddenly sits up with a slight scowl on his face. He crosses his arms and he looks away from both of you toward the window. A snowstorm is blowing hard against the window making it nearly impossible to see anything outside.
A couple more seconds of silence pass and I figure he isn't going to tell me. Berryblue excuses herself and shuts the door behind as she leaves the room. I pull up a nearby chair from a desk and sit by his bedside.
"You should be asleep already. It's very late. "
He doesn't look at you and his frown deepens for a moment.
"Would you like me to read you a bedtime story?" I suggest, slightly leaning forward pressing my hands on my knees.
"I don't care." he grumbles. "I'm too old for that."
Oh, does he really not want one? So then that can't be why he called me here this time. I try to pry. "Stories aren't just for children. There are plenty of books adults read too. "
He pretends to ignore me so I continue.
"I'm not allowed to walk around freely right now, so it would be difficult to get a book for you from the library. Maybe some other time I'll read to you. " I pause and look at him for a moment then say, "Or I could make up a story to tell you." I lean back and study him carefully. He still seems disinterested, but there's a flicker of curiosity in his eyes.
Frieza uncrosses his arms and leans back on his hands."What kind of story?"
"It can be anything you want, but it must be one with a happy ending." I say, trying to tactfully draw out what has been bothering him. "Tell me, what would you like to happen in your story?"
His expression sours again. "I want papa to die. He's so full of himself."
I lean back in my chair, and cross my arms. I need to be careful what I say as there may be guards listening right outside the room.
"There are a lot of different kinds of...problems he may be dealing with at the moment. It may be making him more difficult to deal with at the moment. Things he doesn't want upset you with."
"All he does is make me mad!" frieza snapped. "He says if I cared, I would try harder. But my battle power is bigger than his strongest warriors." He says exasperated."He said I look weak! More like a child than a warrior."
This conversation is beginning to steer itself into a difficult place. There's no way I can lie to him and say he doesn't look like a little child playing dress up when he puts on his armor. I try to supress my small smile at the memory.
"I have a solution." I say, trying to distract him. "It's something that will make all your problems go away."
"I know! I know!" he says excitedly. "We'll kill papa." he laughs
"No, we won't be doing that." I say suddenly, then almost instinctively glance over my shoulder. "We'll play a game. I can't use my ki energy for this. So your going to have to use your imagination. That's what I use when I create the planets for you to destroy."
"I don't want to use my imagination. I want to destroy them." he says bluntly
I sigh and lean back in my chair, crossing my arms.
There must be something else on his mind. His father is always making him mad. He wouldn't request me here because of something silly like that, would he?
"This wasn't why you called me to your room, was it?" I try to pry.
"That's none of your business." He sticks out his tongue at me then looks away, crossing his arms again.
"It's okay if you want to keep it a secret. Sometimes you have to keep secrets to protect yourself." I pause for a moment and he looks back at me. "Now, I want you to close your eyes and imagine the story I'm going to tell."
He begrudgingly participates. he frowns and his brow furrows as if he is trying to think of something as I speak.
"High above our world, exist mysterious objects that hold immense power. It can grant anything to whoever touch them. These are wish orbs that could fulfill your any desire. But whoever created the orb was wise, and knew that power unchecked is a dangerous thing. So, it 's magic was carefully hidden. Although it couldn't be found, it's power never disappeared."
"Where did they go?" Frieza opens his eyes, looking very surprised."I want to find them."
"I don't know. They've been scattered throughout the universe, and their location has been a mystery for many years.
A flicker of doubt flashes across his face. "Are they real?"
"They are very real, but I need you to keep it a secret from your father and brother. If they get a hold of these wish orbs, they might become powerful you may never be able to come close to their power."
"I won't tell them." Frieza says smugly.
I wonder if this is the one secret I can trust him to keep.
"I'm glad to hear that." I say not believing him, but sincerely hoping he's telling the truth for once. If he's lying, I can play it off like it's a made-up story.
Frieza looks back towards the window watching the snowstorm raging outside. After a moment he speaks again.
"I was scared I lost my power."
I'm surprised by this, but I try to not let it show in my expression. Was this my fault? Is he upset because of how I suppress his power with my ability? Then it clicks.
"That must have been a terrible dream." I say.
He is silent and doesn't reply, meaning I must have guessed right.
"Feeling powerless can be very frightening. I know that feeling very well. But strength isn't just about physical power, Frieza. You're intelligent and cunning. No one can take that away from you. You can defeat your opponents without relying solely on power."
"No! My power will be the strongest in the universe! No one will defeat me, not even papa. " he says as he stands up in his bed, and I wonder if he's really listening. "I can't lose. "
"Power isn't everything. If you come across a powerful warrior with your with your father, you can't always fight them head on, you'll have to try to find a different way to win."
"I'll beat them. They'll be no match for me."
"There may be warriors more powerful than your father in the universe, and you won't be able to beat them right away." I say firmly then add softly, "A game wouldn't be fun if you win all the time, now would it?"
"You're wrong, I always want to win. I don't want to lose."
I'm at a loss for words. Why is he so difficult? I lean forward with my elbows on my knees and rest my head on my hand.
"I'm far stronger than you think. I'll show you power!" he says, then yells at the top of his voice then sits down on his bed with a smirk."Guards come get her!"
There is a loud bang on the door and some voices from the guards outside. My heart sinks and I sit up straight as I glare at frieza.
"Open the door!" a guards voice calls out from outside. "We'll come in your highness… your excellence, I mean commander Frieza! "
Is that what's they're calling him now?
"You asked them to call commander now? That's strange." I say to distract him as I lean forward towards him and pin him the bed with my hand on his chest. I start to tickle his sides.
"Shut up. You're stupid!" he says angrily, as he tries to wiggle free from my grip."They call me both now! "
I hold him there as I tickle his sides and he squeals, kicking his legs unable to get away. "She's hurting me!" he yells and I cover his mouth with my hand. There is another loud knock on the door.
"Tell them to leave or I won't stop." I say in a harsh hushed whisper.
He turns his head away from my hand and manages to yell, "Stop! Go away! Or I'll kill you!" he screams and giggles as his tail swishes on the bed
It goes quiet outside the door. I torture him for almost a minute as he laughs hysterically and writhes on the bed trying to get away. It's quiet outside and I hope they decided to leave.
Once I feel the coast is clear I stop and he immediately crawls away from me and hides under his blanket.
"Are you hiding?" I move away from him and sit back down in my chair.
"No!" he pops his head out from under the blanket and looks at me angrily. "I let you escape. They were coming to get you, but I changed my mind."
"Really? It seems like you were talking to me."
"Leave me alone." he mutters as he turns to lay on his back on the bed and closes his eyes. "I'm going to sleep. Go away." he peeks at me from one slightly open eye, as though he thinks I cannot see him looking at me.
"I'll leave." I stand up and try to pull the blanket over him to tuck him into bed, but he wrestles with it and kicks it away trying to prevent me from putting it on him.
"I don't need you to tuck me in. I'm grown up now." he pulls the blanket over himself and turns away from me in his bed.
Finally, I exit the room slightly earlier than expected. The guards are standing outside the room with Berryblue, and I realize she must have been the one who prevented the guards from entering. They lock the chains around my ankles and wrists then escort me back to my cell. I close my eyes as I walk and picture the place where I'll spend the long cold night alone, just the way that bastard wants it.
A week later I am summoned to King Cold's throne room. Upon arrival, I find a small group of his soldiers gathered around him, engaged in a serious discussion. the guards wait at the door for a minute until King cold gives them permission to enter.
As soon as I step into the room, the door closes behind me, leaving me alone with King Cold. "The rest of you can leave," he commands, dismissing his entourage with a wave of his hand. They exit, their gazes lingering on me with a mix of distrust and contempt. I can't tell if it's my sour reputation or the chains binding my wrists and ankles that fuels their animosity.
As soon as I am led into the room, the door is shut behind me and the guards that escorted me leave. I walk into the throne room to meet him.
"The rest of you can leave we're done for now. We'll continue this later, before we leave on the ship." He dismisses the others in the room with a wave.
It's not my imagination when I feel their distrustful gaze on me as they walk past me to the entrance. I'm not sure if it's my bad reputation that still seems to precede me or the chains around my wrists and ankles.
King Cold occupies his throne, his expression a mask of indifference. There's an unnerving calm in the room. Cautiously, I approach him.
"You've had good behavior recently." King Cold says, looking you up and down. "I may consider letting you out soon."
There's no way he really means that. I was caught leaving my cell a week ago."Thank you," I say averting my gaze. There must be something else he needs me for than just rotting in there.
"You should feel lucky that I'm giving you another chance." King Cold says to me. "You don't deserve it."
"I understand the severity of my error. I will never try to undermine your authority again." I say, lowering my head.
A flicker of surprise crosses King Cold's face, an emotion rarely seen on his impassive countenance. "Do not grow accustomed to such kindness," he warned. "Your place is by my side, not at my mercy."
My head raises suddenly. "Am I being restored to my position as your wife?"
"I've decided to make an adjustment to your role. I will allow you to use and train your ki power. Instead, you will be become a valuable addition to my army."
What is he saying? Will no longer be his wife? He has acknowledged that as my position before. Can he just …change his mind? I try to focus on the words coming out of his thin, crusty black lips yet my annoyance grows as he is still speaking. How could I have ever wanted to kiss that? Yuck!
"I'll allow you some freedom for now. But if you disobey me again, I won't hesitate to send you back."
I hardly believed this day would come, especially not after I challenged him openly, and then betrayed him. I can't pinpoint what caused the shift in his behavior, but I'm just relieved it's over.
"I'm glad to help you in any way I can." I say honestly.
"Very well," King Cold replied, his expression unreadable. "You can accompany me on our next will be leaving to take a survey of a distant planet soon. I want you to train and prepare for an upcoming battle. But you won't need to fight yet, as this planet we are traveling to is uninhabited."
"Am I free to go?" I ask, although I know it's far too optimistic wish for that.
"You will remain in your cell until we leave." He says and my heart sinks. I knew it. I wasn't free. He was just toying with me.
I should ignore him, but it's a struggle not to react and deliver a biting reply. I refrain, as I don't want to argue with him in front of his soldiers. I bit my lip and hold my tongue as I'm escorted out of the room back to my cell.
The temperature on the planet has risen slightly over the past week so being brought back into the dungeons isn't as terrible as it once was. Many hours pass and I have plenty of time to mull over what he said.
I'm furious with how he treated me. To insinuate that I would no longer his wife. That was too far.I tried to overlook his cruelty before, but this—this was unforgivable. How dare he attempt to strip me of my position after everything I've done for him? I tell myself the title shouldn't matter, that his threats mean nothing to me, but it still stings—and that's exactly what he wanted.
I had grown accustomed to his remarks, but now I understood well, his arrogance, his cruelty, it was just a tool, a means to an end.
He doesn't care.
For years he addressed me as his wife. I thought it meant something, but now it seems these are just words that hold no weight at after all. It's just a title to be casually dismissed. As if all I was put through couldn't earn me that position and this hell is for nothing.
The more I considered it, the thought only made me angrier, and as I remember all the cruel and unusual punishments he put me through I realize I can't just ignore this. I need to have a taste of revenge, but nothing I did seemed to affect him. I made it too easy for him to mend his hurt pride.
And now, he's the one in control again.
In order to regain my position as his wife I'll have to get under his skin. If he was
I'll take every chance to embarrass him around his servants. If I make it so intolerable to be around me, he'll be forced to acknowledge his dishonesty. Nothing would humiliate him more.
Or perhaps I may exiled far far away from here. It's time to see where I stand with him. Neither option was particularly appealing, but inaction was far worse— His insult is unforgivable, and now it's as though the simmering hatred burning beneath my skin impels me to exact my revenge
Sometime in the afternoon of the next day King Cold arrives to retrieve me from my cell. Now is my chance.
"It's been such a long time since we've been together." I say, hoping someone else is nearby. I walk towards the cell door where he is standing. "I really missed you." King cold said nothing at first. Instead, he remained silent and continued to stare at me intently, as if searching for any sign of dishonesty.
"We're leaving in less than three hours. I want you ready by then." he says, ignoring my comment and unlocking the cell.
"That's quite short notice, but I'll make sure to be ready before then." I brush against his arm as I pass, exiting the cell. There is a silence before I add. "Your presence commands respect across the universe, King Cold. It's an honor to travel alongside such a powerful ruler as yourself"
"You think you're clever don't you?" King cold says, "You're not going to manipulate me."
"It's nothing like that." I said quietly, turning back towards him."I meant what I said. Even my declarations from the other day."
"Your public proclamations was unacceptable, you diminished your worth in my eyes. I won't allow someone who easily compromises their dignity to be my wife."
Did I take it too far? No, I thought that's what he wanted? Is he testing me again?
I study his expression carefully. No. He's dead serious. Well, two can play at that.
"I was being honest." I say boldly, not folding to his response. "I'll prove it to you."
A flicker of doubt crosses his expression.
That's it. He doesn't trust me at all. I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was.
King cold studied me closely as I move to stand in front of him. I know I'm treading a very fine line here. There is no telling how he will react. Ignoring my fears I follow Berryblue's advice, and take a step closer and boldly take his hand in mine.
She was right. It's not a battle. It's war.
"It seems you like my company." his comment surprises me. He must have just wanted me to prove to him how interested I really was in continuing our relationship.
"Very much." I say with a smile. I step closer and lean against his chest. I run my hand along his arm.
King cold says "Are you trying to seduce me?"
The unexpected question took me off guard. Suddenly I step back and let go of him, very embarrassed.
"I'm asking because if you are, then you should stop now. It will get you nowhere." he replies coldly. He turns away from me and crosses his arms then gives me a sideways glance.
"It's nothing like that. I'm just very eager to see you." You take a step away from him and bow slightly, apologizing in a soft voice. "I'm sorry if I was out of line." I study his expression carefully wondering what he is thinking. He blinks, and his lips twitch slightly. He doesn't speak though.
…
"I may be able to use you in more ways in my service." King cold steps closer to me and takes my chin in his hand and lifts it up toward him. He looks directly into my eyes, and I try not to look away although it feels as though his eyes are burning into me.
Once he lets go, I pull away from him slightly, curious. Then I put my hand on his arm gently pulling him closer to me. He leans in slightly and I use my ki to float up a little to give him a kiss on the cheek. King cold's face still remains expressionless. I look at him with uncertainty, wondering if he appreciated that.
"Are you finally going to be honest with me?" I ask, very curious as to his plans.
"You're troublesome to me." King cold says, straightening up and ignoring my question.
"I want to change that." I answer honestly.
"You'll make yourself useful to me." King cold he places his hand on my back as I float down."Come with me. I'll introduce your new position to my army before we board the ship."
