The doors to Beacon Academy open as Ruby, Yang, Xander and Collins head inside. "Did some research before hand, usually teams are formed on the first day" Collins said as this causes Xander to freeze in place. "Oh great... just great..." Xander said sighing. "Is that a problem?" Ruby asked raising an eyebrow. "...I...don't really like...working with other people..." Xander said as Collins just rolled his eyes at this. "Then why did you sign up for it?" Yang asked. "He didn't, i did" Collins said rubbing the back off his head while he and the others head into the Amphitheater.
Once everyone arrived there and sat down Prfosseor Ozpin, a middle-aged man with tousled silver hair and thin brown eyes with shaded glass spectacles wearing an unzipped black suit over a dark green, buttoned vest with green shirt underneath alongside black trouser shoes and long, dark-green pants got infront of the stage. "Welcome new Students, my name Ozpin, Headmaster of Beacon" Ozpin said, as he went on with his welcome speech he sometimes looked at the group of four teens Ruby and the others had seen before, he was specifically looking at the boy with the dark gray hair and blue eyes in brown coat, white shirt, black pants and black shoes. "Look at me all you like Ozpin but it won't help you much in the end~" the boy thought, his name was Koichi Tanaka.
Once the speech was everyone everyone left and headed to the courtyard. "I wonder in what the teams will consist" Collins said as Koichi suddenly approached the two. "Name's Koichi Tanaka, hope we can be good friends and possibly teammates " He said with a bright smile as he shakes Rubys hand first, his blue eyes deeply looking into the girls silver ones as he did so. "Uhm, hello?" Ruby asked weirded out by his seemingly upbeat, friendly, and fearless personality. "Name's Xander..." Xander said getting really suspicious about this Boy as Koichi just continued shaking Rubys hand. "Uh... you can let go now..." Ruby said. "Oh, sorry, its just that your silver Eyes fascinate me, not many people have them" Koichi said as he let go of Rubys hand before leaving.
After a while of waiting everyone was at the entrance to . "Now then, the process is simple, you will form teams conisisting of four people before going in" Ozpin explained. "Simple but straight to the point" Collins said as he while Ruby and Yang were looking around for two other teammates, bumping into two girls while doing so.
One had pale blue eyes and long white hair that was currently pulled back into an off-center ponytail pinned with a silver, icicle-shaped tiara wearing a thigh-length strapless dress with a faint color gradation from white to pale blue at the hem which is scalloped and stitched to resemble snowflakes, with layers of white tulle under the skirt and boots are white, wedged heeled, and higher at the back than the front. The other had wavy black hair and amber eyes wearing a black, buttoned vest with coattails and a single silver button on the front with a white, sleeveless, high necked, crop undershirt underneath with tight white spandex compression shorts that reach her upper thighs with a zipper on the front of each leg and black low-heeled boots and full stockings with a color gradation of black to purple at her ankles.
"Oh hey" Ruby said as smiled at the two girls. "Greetings, the name is Weiss Schnee" the White haired girl said as Ruby shakes her hand. "Blake Belladonna" the Black Haired one said. "Now then, wanna form a team with me and Yang?" Ruby asked still smiling. "I guess so, other options are getting smaller and smaller after all" Blake said nodding, "Alright, lets give our best" Weiss said. Xander and Collin meanwhile were asking others but were always reject when they bump into a girl with long red hair and blue eyes wearing a dark blue coat and light blue shirt underneath alongside dark blue pants and black shoes. "And you are?" the girl asked looking at the two seemingly uninterested in teaming up with them. "Collins, just Collins and this my friend Xander" Collins said introducing himself and Xander. "Name's Brianna, If you think i'm gonna team up with you forget about i-" the girl was cut off as a pale hand was put on her shoulder, looking back she saw who it belonged to, a Girl with pale skin, long black hair and red-eyes wearing in a black jacket with light brown shirt underneath, black pants and black combat boots. "they are not gonna come back" the girl said in a monotone voice. "They will come back, stop being a pessimist for once Sarai" Brianna said rolling her eyes as Sarai tightens her grip on her shoulder. "Brianna, be reasonable for once..." Sarai said as Brianna just sighed at this. "fine you two can join" Brianna said grumbling and rolling her eyes.
Soon everyone was at the Arena as two teams fought each other with the first match up being Team RWBY vs Team XCBS. "Lets go!" Ruby said as she, Weiss, Blake and Yang entered the Colosseum. "You can count on me, i will heal all the wounds you may recieve during this fight" Collins said as he, Brianna, Xander and Sarai enter the Colosseum. "Yeah you better, because i will become the greatest Huntress in Re-" Brianna paused as she looked over at Rubys team, a look of anger quickly growing in her face. "YOU!" Brianna said as she glarred at Ruby. "Me?" Ruby asked genuinly confused. "You dare steal two of my teammates from me and leave me with two second, no third class replacements?!" Brianna said as she points at Collins and Xander reffering to them as the replacements. "Okay, no need to be this rude" Xander said as he and Collins deadpanned at this. "We had no intention of joining your team in the first place" Blake said as she takes out her Variant Ballistic Chain Scythe. "I'm gonna mess you up!" Brianna said as she puts on two brass knuckles. "Its one of those oh dear" Collins said as he got his battle saw ready. "Lets get this over with..." Sarai said taking out her axe. "Ready or not, here i come!" Brianna said with a sharp grin as she rushes at Ruby only for Yang to stop her in her tracks as the two fought it out. "No hard feelings" Xander said as he got his lance ready and began to fight Ruby while Collins and Sarai fought Blake and Weiss. "Sorry about her, you fight well by the way" Collins said completing Blakes moves. "You're not bad blondie, however thats not everything!" Brianna said as she jumped back and took out three daggers. "Let me tell you about my Semblance, once i marked an enemy with either of my hands an invisible mark appears on them and as long as at that mark is on them anything i throw will head straight for them, you're done blondie~" Brianna said as she throws the daggers at Yang only for the girl to block them using her Dual Ranged Shot Gauntlets.
"S-seriously... thats your Semblance, thats... underwhelming..." Ruby said as she and the others stopped at this. "I beg your pardon?!" Brianna asked getting riled up as she glared at Ruby "She is right on that" Collins said. "What kind of teammate agrees with their enemy?!" Brianna yelled. "What kind of team leader would insult their teammates?" Xander replied. "Just continue fighting especially you Sarai!" Brianna said as she looked at her teammate. "What else do you want me to do? Sarai asked. "Can't believe your sister died saving a pathetic failure like you" Brianna said as Sarai twitched at this, her red pupils narrowing. "Okay what the heck was that for?!" Yang asked shocked and disgusted as she bashes Brianna on the Head. "Don't listen to her, your Sister is proud that you have made it so far" Blake said as Sarai began to laugh at this. "Yes, My Sister is proud... AND I AM GONNA MAKE SURE IT STAYS LIKE THAT!" Sarai said as a orange-greenish Aura appeared around her before she rushed at Blake, kicking Collins out of the way as she swings her Axe with all her might while Blake could only dodge. "What you do?!" Weiss asked as she grabbed Brianna by her coat at this. "I-i don't know, i wasn't quite thinking right okay?!" Brianna said. "Damn it Brianna!" Xander said as he went to help Blake fight Sarai. "Two Teams combining forces to stop me, interesting, it won't matter in the end though, i will secure victory!" Sarai said as her Axe clashed with both Xanders Lance and Blakes Chain Scythe as Yang Ruby joined in.
The battle was getting heated as Sarai exchanged both swings and kicks with her opponents until Ruby managed to unarm her, her Axe landing in the wall of the Colosseum. Sarai just looked at her Axe before looking back at her opponents, specifically Ruby, her fists begin to glow bright orange before she pulled her axe out of the Wall. "Show me a good time Ruby!" Sarai said as she rushed at Ruby, swinging her axe at her as the girl countered. "It has been a while since i had a good fight like this, lucky for you that you are fellow students otherwise i would have killed you all on the spot" Sarai said through her laughter as she and Ruby exchanged blades. "Glad to hear that me and my team can supply you with this experience!" Ruby said. "Out of all opponents i have faced, you are quite a strong one, hope it stays like that when you graduate Beacon!" Sarai said smirking as the others joined in. "Sarai thats enough!" Collins said as he tried holding back Sarai only for her to grab him by the head and slam him into the ground. "I say when its enough!" Sarai said as she dodges Weiss attacks before taking care of her and the others by kicking them away. "Just you and me!" Ruby said while the others only watched exhausted. "You think you have what it takes Ruby Rose, i have seen many like you, you know what they always ended up doing? they ran away in fear, so let me ask you this, will you also be like them?!" Sarai asked. "I WILL BEYOND THE HORIZON!" Ruby said as she rushes at Sarai and strikes her with her scythe, knocking her into the wall before falling to the ground.
"Does that answer your question?" Ruby asked as she pants heavily while Sarai got up, the same emotionless look she had before the fight was back on her face as said nothing and put her axe away. "Team RWBY wins!" Ozpin said as the members of each team got up. "Very nice!" Collins said as he shakes Ruby hand. "Thank you" Ruby said. Yes, very good!" Weiss said applauding Ruby. "I look forward to future battles" Xander said as he also shakes Rubys hand but he couldn't help but blush a little while doing so. "Oh i'll show you next time!" Brianna said sitting in a corner mumbling to herself. "We make four make a good team" Yang said as she patted her Sister on the back. "This isn't all, we better get ready for whatever comes next" Blake said while Sarai slowly left the Arena, looking back at Ruby and the others- "I put my faith in you, Ruby Rose..." Sarai said under her breath as she left the Arena.
