Chapter 3:
"Why didn't you tell me about the living toy," says Mike.
"I told you we were being chased by Huggy Wuggy before you sprinkled powdered sugar on him," says Amy.
Mike pauses. "Fair point."
"And these monsters don't even let us leave," says Amy, "every time we try to get to the exit, we get blocked by a toy!"
"It's true," says Father Wayne, "I tried to leave, and this army of toy soldiers get in my way. They're a lot tougher than they look. I found your name and number in the employee list and learn what you do these days. So, I figured, you'd be a great help."
"Except I've never met real monsters," says Mike, "that Bigfoot sighting, that was a bear! The Loch Ness Monster was a sock puppet! That werewolf was my neighbor's dog! She likes to dress him. But that's not the point!"
"But you did used to work here," says Father Wayne.
"But the toys were just toys back then," says Mike, "they never attacked anyone!"
"Either way, you're stuck here like we are," says Father Wayne.
Mike sighs. "Fine, but we're gonna need some protection!"
...
Mike introduces them to the grabpacks. "We can grab objects with these," says Mike, "they can also open certain doors, and carry electrical impulses to and from power sources, and we can use them to swing from area to area."
"Sounds scary," says Trevor.
"I think a weapon would be more useful, but sure, backpack works for Dora the Explorer and Milo Murphy," says Father Wayne.
"Now, are there safe places here," asks Mike.
"The office of someone named Elliot Ludwig," says Amy.
"That's the founder of this company," says Mike, "okay, you guys stay there, I'm gonna take a look around."

While Amy, Trevor, and Father Wayne wait in the office, Mike explores the factory. Being here brought back memories for him. He then sees Kissy Missy walking by. Mike then stops at this big hole on the floor. He takes a look, but something crawls out. "Didn't you used to work here," asks Mommy Longlegs, "so good to see you again!"
Mike runs and Mommy Longlegs chases after him.
...
Mike enters a room and sees Bron just standing there. Bron points to a grinder. Mike goes there and as Mommy Longlegs comes after him, her arm gets stuck in said grinder. Mike turns the grinder on, and it crushes her. Mike looks at Bron. "Thanks," says Mike.
Bron nods and walks away. Mike was about to leave, but then he sees a large robotic claw taking Mommy Longlegs. Mike was freaked out from that. He then runs.
