Chapter 5:
Mike enters the Red Flower Room. It looks like it was decorated by an old woman. Mike continues walking until he finds Poppy Playtime. "It's all good," says Mike.
The others enter and they all see Poppy. "What's that," asks Trevor.
"That's Poppy Playtime," says Mike, "our first known product!"
"She might have the answers," says Mary. Mary opens the case and Poppy awakens.
"You opened the case," says Poppy.
"Sorry for interrupting your nap," says Clark, "we'll show ourselves out, but first, we have some questions... like what the heck are you?"
Poppy looks down. "I was Poppy Ludwig, daughter of Elliot Ludwig. Daddy was a brilliant toy maker, but things were running slow. Then Dr. Harley Sawyer had an idea. The Bigger Bodies Initiative! They turned people into toys! I was sick, so to save my life, Daddy did the same thing to me! But there were two terrible toys. One of them, the Prototype! A monster who seeks to devour those who feel grief! And the other, he worships the Prototype and is enslaving the rest of us! He seeks to sacrifice the one who feels the most grief to the Prototype! He is..."
Then the lights go out and when they're back on, Poppy disappears.
"The claw," says Mike. They all look at him. "When I was being chased by Mommy Longlegs, I killed her with a grinder. Then a big metal claw takes her!"
"Either that was the claw from Toy Story, or that was the Prototype," says Father Wayne.
"And let's not forget," says Clark, "the Prototype has a fanboy!"
