Chapter 92 Test of Strenght

Shin was inside a temple alone as he looks at the items he got and recovered from his training. They are divine weapons that can harm the gods themselves.

"With all of this, I might protect everyone back home from the enemies that will come."

The goddesses and Valkyries have told him that theres a few more to find before facing Baldur and one can help to closely get to his strenght.

Skuld came. "Shin."

"Oh Skuld." He said.

Outside were Vierde and Funfte as they were escorting the goddess.

"I came to pick you up, since we have to get the next relic. And this one is special to me and my sisters." She said.

That got him curious to what she has prepared.

They went out as the valkyries followed both, the girls looked at Shin and blushed. Shin always makes time to talk with all of them and they care about him.

The group arrived at a different temple and they saw a chest that's gold and red with a handle on the front.

"A chest?" Kivat said.

"Try opening it." Skuld said.

"Oh, okay." Shin walks up to it.

He grabs the handle but the moment he pulls up it was stuck. "It's stuck."

"Yes, this is a test of strenght." Skuld said.

"What?" he got surprised.

"Shin has to pull it open using strenght?" Kivat said.

"Yes, so please we need you to do it." Skuld had faith.

Shin looks and it seems they wanted him to do with his natural strenght.

"Okay."

Shin tries it again and pulls harder trying to pull it up with so much force. He grunted as it felt he needed the strenght of a thousand man just to pull it up.

'Come on!' He tried.

Everyone watched and hoped Shin can do it, Kivat wanted to help but Skuld told him that Shin needs to do this alone.

The fangire markings appeared on Shin's face as he managed to open the chest. It sent a golden light up.

Urd and Verdande sensed it and looked out they're temple.

"He did it." Urd said.

Verdande smiled. "Shin managed to get it."

Baldur was drinking before he senses it making him spit out his drink. "Are you kidding me?!"

A item comes out of the chest being the relic megingjord as the belt goes to Shin's waist.

"That is Megingjord, a relic that belonged to my brother Thor..." Skuld smiles. "It gave him twice his power. It will help you in battle as no matter the form you use, it will be increased with two times it's strenght."

Shin nodded at her, so if he transforms it will make for example Kiva two times stronger and just his normal strenght.

"Thor gave up on the belt after the battle with the giants since he felt he doesn't even need it." Skuld explained.

Her brother almost lost the excitement to fight after the giants saying it was a boring fight, he stopped fighting for a very long time.

"He must be really important to you girls?" Shin said.

She nodded. They all cared about they're older brother as he was somebody that looked after them the most.

When she was younger she saw the giants barge through the gates making her scared before Thor appeared taking them all down. She was amazed by Thor's power at that time.

"Thor's power from what I remembered could only be matched by Baldur, as they were told to be rivals in strenght a long time ago. So to match Baldur, you must be close toThor as well." Skuld said.

Shin understood what she's talking about as he needs to be closer to Thor to catch up to Baldur.

Baldur on the other hand stares at the mountain. "They gave him Thor's old belt. That thing makes anyone that uses it twice as strong."

He can't believe they're just giving the divine relics to a human hybrid.

"If they think giving him megingjord will make a difference than they should go back to seeing the timelines since that's going to be nothing if he isn't strong enough." Baldur said.

He goes off since he has to get something else to drink after he wasted his after sensing that.

Skuld returns back to her sisters. "Shin managed to get the belt."

"Yes, but he still needs a lot more to even be a match to Baldur. Like just that won't do much." Urd said.

"But with it he has made progress to catch up to Baldur, as that belt was what is needed to go to the next step." Verdande said.

"Also, I don't want to lose Shin." Skuld blushes.

She knows her brother can get carried away if he's too serious.

"We all fear for his well being but we must have faith in him." Verdande told her.

"If you say so." Urd said. "Last thing I want is a repeat of Baldur getting mad because of what happened last time. I still remember it a lot."

"Being a goddess of the past must be hard." Skuld winces.

"You have no idea." She frowns.

Brynhild watches Shin train using his new belt to throw punches at a big boulder.

"He can do many amazing things, he just needs the right training."

She has a small blush since she would be lying if she said she didn't have a attraction to Shin outside of his looks.

"Maybe he can be the one for us all. Brunhilde and the other girls can find they're own guy he's ours." She said.

She might be greedy but she didn't care as Brunhilde found her own boyfriend now it's they're turn.

Shin lifted a huge boulder to get used to the new strenght he got from the belt as if he doesn't, Baldur is going to kill him for touching his brother's belt.

"I hope I can do it."

Note: Shin got Thor's belt that doubled his strenght, if he transforms it would double like the forms own power instead, like the base power of Kiva would be doubled instead.
