I'm open to prompts and reviews, enjoy this chapter:)

-You're awake,- Steph said.

Rissa gave her the finger.

-And you're still you. Listen…

-No.

-No what?

-No, I won't listen. I've heard it all before 10,000 times. It doesn't change anything.

-Rissa…

-Shut up.

-Please…

-Oh, I'm Stephanie, and I'm sooo perfect! I'm Stephanie, and I loooove my sister! I'm Stephanie, and I do the right thing! I'm Stephanie, and I do this out of loooooove! I'm Stephanie, and the reason my little sister is suffering right now is because I looooooooooooooooove her so much!

-Marissa, you don't understand this, okay! And I'm done trying to explain it to you!

-I know. That's why I just explained it to myself with that beautiful speech. Did you like it?

-No.

-Why? It was very touching.

-Great.

Steph gently stroked her hair once and left Rissa's room.

-Where the hell are you going?!

-To the bar.

-To get drunk? Without me?!

-No. To see my boyfriend.

-Oh, I'm Stephanie, and I have my perfect little witchy-woo boyfrie…- door slam. -Rude!

Steph ran down the stairs. Down the street. Into the bar, where her boyfriend was making some cocktail. Almost every girl in the bar was watching him make it. It must have been a pretty drink. She came closer to see.

It was shots.

Regular, transparent shots. Why was everyone staring? Oh. It wasn't the drink, it was Alf. They were all staring at him. How often did that happen? She was usually here either when Rissa was causing a commotion, or… before lunch.

Now she was just here and… everyone was staring at her boyfriend.

-Alf!- she called, though it was so loud, even she didn't hear herself. He didn't, either. -Alf!- she called louder. She heard herself, so that's a start. But he still didn't hear her.

Steph lightly pushed through the crowd of girls until she was in front of the counter, though about a meter away from Alf. Some other girl was next to her, a bit closer to Alf.

-He's hot, isn't he?- she asked Steph.

-Yeah.

-I wonder where's he's from.

-Oh, Latvia.

-What even is… Whatever, you know him?

-Yeah.

-How?

-He's my boyfriend.

-He has a girlfriend?

-Yeah, I'm, like… right here.

-I know, I can see you, but still, he has a girlfriend?

-Yeah. I'm right…

-Here, I know. But still!

-Can we swap places, I need to talk to him.

-Girl, no. I wanna kiss him the moment it's my turn to order.

-Girl… he's my boyfriend.

-I know. I heard you the first three times.

Her patience snapped, and she shoved whoever this girl was out of the way, now standing in front of Alf.

-Salvatore!- he smiled. -What are you doing here?

-I'm here to see you. Just like everyone else.

He laughed. This was how it went every day. He kissed her, earning a groan from every one of the dumb girls around them.

-She's my girlfriend,- Alf said. That earned him a louder groan. -And then they ask why I'm a pessimist.

Steph smiled. It was good to talk to him after Rissa… is Rissa.

-Why do only stupid girls come to this bar?- he asked her. -There are plenty of smart ones, but not one of these idiots is even remotely smart.

-What about me?

-You're smart. That's why I don't ignore you, like I do them.

-Smart.

-Oh, I know I'm smart, Salvatore, otherwise I would've been making out with one of them.

-Would you two finish, it's my turn to kiss him!- some girl behind Steph yelled. Other started shoving each other.

-You know what?- Alf said, looking at them with slight fear in his eyes. -Get over here.

-Behind the bar?

-Yep.

-Alf, you want me to climb over the bar?

-Well, flying also works, but I doubt you're one of those people.

She rolled her eyes, but still climbed over. It wasn't that hard, she was a cheerleader in high school, and they often did things like this. Once they were on the other side together, he sat down on the floor, motioning for her to do the same.

-I'm sorry,- he said. -This is how Saturdays always go. It's usually fine, I swear.

-It's okay,- she sat down next to him. -It's not your fault.

-I mean, you're 21, and you've lived in your apartment for a few years. That means that this must be, like, the first bar you went to, and…

-Actually, no.

-What? You were in a bar, underage? Never thought you'd do that, Salvatore.

-My dad owns a bar. Okay, technically it's a grill, but there's a bar there. Since our dad owned it, Rissa and I were always allowed there.

-And that's when something seriously messed with Rissa's head… I'm starting to see the big picture here…

Steph gave him a look.

-Salvatore?- he asked.

-Yeah?

-I love you.
