Vaccine Destruction with Friendly Hero Reunion
About a little over seven weeks have passed since Izuku's 15th birthday with his big sisters Fubuki and Tatsumaki being there along with some heroes, a happy day for the boy even though his master Zeppli had to place a mask on his face to make his breathing-exercises even harder than before.
But he is willing to accept the challenge if it means he can become even stronger by the ways of Hamon though he finds the next three months to be really hard on the body and how hard it was the breath with the mask on.
Right now, Izuku is hanging out with his friends Rio, Lily, and Nate and another guy as they are walking together through the streets as they are enjoying a nice summer day.
"Man, can you believe what my mother tried to pull on that one woman at the store?" Nate asked, sounding a little angry right now.
"Yeah, parents can do things that are so embarrassing to us kids." Rio chuckled.
"I don't see what's so funny about it. My mother tried to use her fowl seduction ways on that employee of the store for a little discount, while there were still people around giving questionable looks on their faces!" Nate pouted.
"Maybe she was just trying to save up some money." The new guy guessed.
"Then she's a cheapskate pervert! I'll never understand her!" Nate growled.
"Huh, I think I made her mad!" The new guy felt worried.
"Don't worry, she's not like this for long, Rikido." Izuku assured his tall and muscular friend.
"Well, anyway, thanks again for helping me out with the baking for the sale at my parents' bake shop. You really saved my ass back there." Rikido thanked Izuku for the help.
Rikido is a tall, very muscular young man with a broad build. His brown hair is short and spiked upwards away from his head. He has relatively tiny, square-shaped eyes with small black pupils and a pair of bushy eyebrows just above. Rikido bears huge, thick lips, slightly darker than the rest of his skin, and a notably large, round nose. He wears a yellow shirt with a big picture of a cake on the front side, white shorts and black shoes.
"No problem, it was really fun to do some baking and making some for my older sisters as they love how I made them to enjoy." Izuku smiled.
"Do you still have those cookies?" Lily asked.
"Sorry, all out. My mom got the last of them." Izuku informed.
"So, do you got any plans for today?" Rikido asked.
"Oh, you know, do some more training with Baron Zeppli to get myself ready for the Hero Association entrance exam." Izuku answered, feeling himself becoming strong for that.
"My, my, that is only about two weeks away and you're school in middle school." Nate pointed out the fact that Izuku is still in middle school.
"I know, it's crazy but that's something I'm going to do!" Izuku smiled under his mask.
"Hey, quick question. Are you still going to wear that mask for the exam because it's making you look like you're from a gangster or something." Rikido asked. He always thought of the mask is weird whenever he looks at it.
"Master Zeppli still haven't given me the word about removing it meaning I still have a lot of growth to reach and overcome." Izuku answered while touching his mask for a bit.
"I've gotten use to see you wearing that mask, but I do miss seeing the rest of your face." Rio said with a tiny sad expression.
"Indeed, I have miss seeing the smile on your face that shows how kind and strong you are on the inside." Nate shared her opinion.
"Oh, I'm sorry if I made you feel that way, girls." Izuku was a little surprised by the girls wanting to see his face again.
"Hey, I've been meaning to ask, but if your master is making you wear that mask since your birthday then how are you able to eat?" Rikido asked curiously.
"Actually, it wasn't even hard at first when I had breakfast and" Izuku was cut off when they felt the ground shaking hard, followed by the sounds of explosions.
"What the…?" Izuku was confused about what is going on here.
Then he looks up to see there is something soaring in the air, and he can instantly tell that that something is not human as it forms three energy balls around itself and then launches them forward to hit some random spots of the city.
"Oh no, is it another monster attack?" Nate asked in shock.
"Seriously? Didn't we just have one about four days ago?" Rikido panicked.
"(Oh no, there's problem and I have a bad feeling that the heroes who are available in the area are not gonna be able to take it down.)" Izuku thought worried.
"I need to let the Hero Association that I'm in the area too." Lily took out her phone to let her superior know.
(Hero Association Headquarter)
Several workers of the Association are doing their best in responding to the danger alert alarms that are going off and their monitors are detecting the monster getting closer to them.
"It's closing in!" Worker 2 alerted.
"Fucking damn! So, who's available?" Worker 2 asked.
"We have confirmation that Lightning Max and Smile Man are on their way!" Woman Worker informed, hoping those two will be enough to handle the danger.
"Get me that Threat-Level Assessment!" Man Worker 1 ordered. They need to know what kind of danger they're dealing with or else all will be lost.
(Back in City A)
The destruction of the city continues by the mysterious purple monster man as the two heroes who were going to stop the monster only ends up getting defeated by that monster, it was powerful enough to put them down though they're not dead. Not that the monster cares because all humans are going to die by its hands.
A newsman is reporting this from another location where the destruction is happening close to where he is right now.
"As you can see, explosions are going off behind me! The wake of destruction left by this monster is at an unprecedented scale! Thero Association is analyzing the Threat-Level in order too—AAH!" The newsman was cut off when destruction reached him.
The scene changes to the news being watched on TV by a bald man seeing this.
"Guess I'll go." The bald man said, changing clothes and heading out right into the danger in City A.
(With Izuku)
"Izuku! This is crazy! We shouldn't be out here!" Lily yelled as she and Izuku are running through the path of destruction.
"I'm sorry, but I can't just sit back there while there are still some lives for us to save!" Izuku stated.
"(Oh man, I can never say no to your big heart!)" Lily thought exclaimed with her cheeks blushing.
"In any case, we've already found at least eight people that survived and are heading for the safe zone as we speak." Izuku pointed out.
"Let's split up. You go that way, and I'll take the other direction." Izuku suggested before making a turn.
"If you end up dying then you know your sisters will kill me!" Lily shouted as her way of telling him not to die and make his sisters sad.
Izuku is running the fastest he could while scanning the area as there are no signs of people so far, but then he spotted a little girl crying and covered in some dirt.
"Mommy! Daddy!" A little girl cried out.
"(I have to save her!)" Izuku thought knew that girl cannot be harmed.
Izuku ran for the girl while seeing the purple monster man who just grew his right arm and hand to crush the girl, but the dark green hair boy reacted quicker as he picked up a broken piece of an iron pole channeling some Hamon into it and threw the pole to pierce into the hand of the monster.
"What?" The purple monster was shocked.
"I got you!" Izuku grabbed hold of the girl and was about to make a run for it.
"No, you don't, human!" The purple monster man used his other arm to kill the boy and the girl.
"(No! I can't dodge that!)" Izuku thought feared this might be the end.
However, something fast swoops in taking both Izuku and the girl away from the spot where the purple monster man punched the ground.
"Hey, are you okay?" A man asked Izuku.
"Huh, did you save us?" Izuku asked.
"Yeah, just now. It was also pretty cool of you to try save that girl, nice work." The bald man smiled at Izuku.
"(That's weird, why do I have a strong feeling that I know him from before?)" Izuku thought felt the sense of familiarity when looking at the bald man.
"You're a fast one. Who are you?" The purple monster man asked.
The bald man had a small smile and then stood up facing the purple monster man.
"Just a guy who's a hero for fun." The bald man answered.
"(A hero for fun? Not exactly the kind of intro I would do, but…)" Izuku thought narrowed his eyes at the bald man, then started to put together a face of a man he met a year and a half ago.
"(Saitama!)" Izuku thought realized.
Saitama has become completely bald that there is not a spec of hair left on his head as it's shiny like glass. His clothing now consists of a yellow one-piece jumpsuit with a short zipper at the collar and a black belt with a round golden buckle at its center. He wears red gloves that go 3/4 up his forearms and red boots that nearly reach his knees. His costume is finished with a white cape, fastened to his shoulders with big, round buttons.
"You're kidding. What kind of half-assed backstory is that? Mine's far superior." The purple monster man mocked.
"I was formed from the pollution man wrought upon the earth. I am Vaccine Man!" Vaccine Man revealed his name and how he was created.
Vaccine Man is a large, purple hairless humanoid with two rounded antennae on his head. He has a bare muscular body.
"The earth is a single living organism; you filthy humans are nothing but a disease-causing bacterium eating away at her previous lifeforce. In order to wipe out humanity and the evil civilization built on her surface, the earth, in her infinite wisdom, has given birth to me!" Vaccine Man proclaimed as he starts to transform bigger with more spikes and sharper claws.
"Now he's scarier than ever!" Izuku exclaimed in fear.
"You say you do this for fun? For fun?! How dare you confront Mother Earth's apostle for such a mindless reason?! Yet what could be expected from a hu—"
But suddenly Vaccine Man was destroyed completely by Saitama throwing just one simple punch that also blew away all the smoke in the large portion of the area.
Izuku is very shocked with his eyes and mouth wide, and jaws drop (thought you wouldn't tell with the mask) in utter shock having to witness something just as crazy as Tatsumaki lifting a mountain with her Esper power that the man who he just recognizes as Saitama just defeated that monster with just one punch. Just one punch alone.
"No way… He stopped that monster… With just one punch…!" Izuku exclaimed in shock of amazement.
"Not again…" Saitama looked at his own fist angrily, then fell to his knees. "All it took was one punch."
"DAMN IT?!" Saitama screamed in frustration.
"Huh, he's upset about beating the monster?" Izuku was confused by Saitama's reaction to the battle.
"Fuck, and here I was hoping I actually found a monster that could survive more than one punch." Saitama sobbed a little.
"Hey, Saitama, I'm not sure what you're going on about right now. But you were able to save some lives, that's something you should be happy about." Izuku pointed out.
"Sure, saving lives is good and all, but being really strong can have its downside." Saitama said.
"Huh, wait a minute." Saitama just realized something and turn his sigh to the boy.
"How did you know my name is Saitama? Have we met before?" Saitama asked the kid.
"We have. It was over a year ago when you saved me and my girls from a monster, and you were also rushing for a bathroom at the time." Izuku answered, even mentioning the bathroom part.
Saitama didn't seem to get it at first, but then a memory came into the front of his mind.
(Flashback)
"Think you're so tough right now, but not to me!" Saitama shouted clutching his fist.
The 170,000-Year-Old Cicada Nymph just screams in rage looking down at the pathetic human that is stupid enough to come toward him only to be killed in an instant.
However, that thought was immediately destroyed when Saitama killed the monster in just one punch.
Izuku, Nene, and the girl still in Izuku's arms have become completely and utterly shocked that one lone man just defeated a very dangerous and strong-looking monster with one punch. One, single, punch, and the monster is dead.
"Awesome! An outdoor bathroom!" Saitama smiled in relief as he hurried into the outdoor bathroom and went inside to finally do his business.
(Flashback End)
"Oh yeah, I remember you now. You're the kid from back then, and you even asked me about my workout routine." Saitama realized.
"I'm glad you remember." Izuku smiled.
"What's with the mask? Doing an early Halloween thing?" Saitama asked, thinking the mask is a little weird.
"It's for my training. Stronger breathing gives me stronger punches, or something like that." Izuku chuckled.
"Though I'm surprise to see that you're bald when you had a full head of hair." Izuku remembered Saitama's hair.
"Whatever, I don't wanna talk about it…" Saitama exclaimed, feeling hurt when mentioning about his bald head.
"Anyway, it's amazing that you're so strong! Even stronger than when I last saw you a year ago!" Izuku complimented.
"Yeah, I guess it maybe fun for you. But not so much for me." Saitama said with a slight sad expression.
"Why's that?" Izuku asked.
"Because I became too strong. Whenever monsters pop up like the one, I just killed, they all end the same way… Just one punch. No matter how powerful, dangerous, or big they are, they just die after one punch of mine." Saitama explained.
"So, you see, overwhelming strength can be so boring." Saitama sighed.
"Oh, I guess that's why you said that you're a hero for fun." Izuku started to see that.
"Yeah, hero just became a hobby for me." Saitama stood up.
"But even so, you were still able to save some lives and avenge the ones who were killed by the monster. Knowing that the ones who are alive get to live to see another day is enough of a reward to a hero, you should at least think about that." Izuku pointed out.
"I guess." Saitama shrugged.
"Besides, I'm sure the Hero Association would've have sent you here unless it was something the other heroes couldn't handle." Izuku said.
"Wait, Hero Association, what is that? A club or something?" Saitama asked in honest confusion, having no idea what the Hero Association is and never heard of it until now.
"Huh, you're kidding? You mean to tell me that you're a hero, but you're not with the Hero Association?" Izuku gasped.
"Nope. Not a thing." Saitama answered.
"(Shit! That means he must've been seen as a weirdo and such to the people who don't recognize him as a hero!)" Izuku thought gasped.
"Hey, Izuku! Are you okay?" Lily called out with a nervous man behind her.
"I'm alright, and I just stumble upon this man who just saved my life." Izuku gestured to Saitama.
"Yo." Saitama greeted.
"That's good, I found this man and figured he's a survivor from this incident. He called himself King, guess he must be shy about his real name." Lily gestured to the man named King.
"H-Hello, it's nice to meet you." King greeted them nervously.
King is a tall, lean man with light tan skin, blue eyes, and shoulder-length, slicked-back blonde hair combed down to the nape of his neck. He has a long face with sunken cheeks and a well-defined jawline. His most notable physical feature is the set of three vertical scars over his left eye.
"So, you defeated the monster? Thank you so much." Lily thanked the bald man.
"Also… He's not registered with the Hero Association either." Izuku mentioned with a nervous chuckle.
"Wait, WHAT?!" Lily screamed in shock.

Yep, we have officially started the One Punch Man story with Saitama beating Vaccine Man with just One Punch while reuniting with Izuku, but the boy was also shocked that Saitama hasn't heard about the Hero Association yet. And to those who have notices, King didn't get the credit for beating Vaccine Man like in the cannon story meaning he won't join the Hero Association, yet.
