Sunlight. A gentle and welcoming sunlight. Something he's not grown accustomed to in a very long time. Hidden under the blankets in a burrito like fashion, Drakes' form would begin to shift and stir from the slumber that had been interrupted last night. His eyes were groggy. Desiring to just go back to sleep and forget any of what happened last night ever existed. Drake's knuckles tighten around the scarlet red blanket close to his form whining in pity to himself. What had he done? What can he say or do to quell the situation of basically telling Chili that he's not like the other kids? To look at Bluey and Bingo and to see how normal they got to live.

The childhood they got to have. The memories of what it's like to be a kid. How could he even tell them? He didn't have the courage to do that right now. It's like guilt ridden at his every core each moment he didn't tell them something. Drake didn't want to lie to them. He didn't want to lose the very thing he's trying to keep right now. Friendship. A real friendship. Something he wanted to hold onto for a very long time because for once in his life, he had something he could hold onto without the fear of it being stripped away from him.

His ocean blue eyes gaze upon the window in front of the door where the early morning light seeped through. Dust gathering inside of the light. Drake is just trying to wake up now. A part of him wanted to just sit inside of the light and let the sun warm his fur. To make himself realize he's waking up in a home. Not a place that felt cold. That felt like a prison.

Turning onto his back to stare up at the ceiling, the fan turned swiveling by itself. A hypnotic state of mind as he's watching it. To maybe focus his mind on something else. To not make himself go insane with that guilt. Speaking of. Adjusting onto his elbows and turning to face where his mess was made. The splinters were gone for some reason.

But the hole is still. there. So what happened last night really did happen. The nine year old calf would flop back placing his hands onto his eyes groaning. It's a reality. The reality of what he's done really did happen. Blinking momentarily shutting away the rest of the sleep, Drake decided to explore instead of wallowing in pity. Just to distract himself further.

Tossing the blanket aside onto the edge of the couch. He shouldn't just lie around now. He wanted to explore the rest of the house as best as he could. Drake's eyes wavering towards anything that he could find, rubbing the sleep off of his expression now fully awake. It couldn't have been more than 7:30 in the morning.

The calf is curious as to what a family is like. A house. A place of safety. Love. And comfort. Drake's eyes firstly notice the TV. On the edge near the TV, there's a few family photos that had Bingo, Bluey and their parents together. Some even had the two girls when they were babies. They had a wonderful light brown frame as its chosen wooden texture.

Drake couldn't reach it. So; he didn't bother trying. It's not his to try and look at anyway. He could see it just fine from where he stood. Drake took active notice how nice the home is, all in all. How decorative it is. The house had so many nice qualities to it. Colorful. So vibrant to the sight. Drake's snout pulled into a small smile. Drake didn't want to leave.

But, the episode last night that he had would've surely scared off the Heelers from that chance. Who could've wanted someone to stay in their home when he destroyed it? Or, at least put a hole into it. His ears folded a bit. He wanted to be friends with Bluey and Bingo. He didn't have any friends back then. His time was always because of his sickness. Bedridden. And, he could never go outside without his parents always getting scared of him falling ill on the grass.

Drake didn't know anything much about the sickness but for the fact it was something out of his control. A sickness that affected his bones. It made it painful to move a lot or walk long distances without cramping. But, he didn't have it anymore. That's because of what they did to fix him! He's fixed! But at what cost?

There's also a few toys lying about here and there where Bingo and Bluey must've forgotten to grab their toys from the side of the couch when they were playing their game from last night. Drake kneeled down and grabbed one of the toys that was supposed to be the 'villagers' of the dragon and princesses game they played.

There's only about three 'villagers' on the couch that are stuffed animals. A lizard, a penguin, and a ladybug. These villagers had a cute little 'cloak' on them that were simple colored pieces of paper and taped to their backs. Drake picked up the lizard stuffed animal where its head swayed to the side lazily. He holds its head up where it would only fall back onto the side of its shoulder again thinking it would hold up on its own. Drake wished he had stuffed animals when he was in the hospital. The constant beeping and awakenings in random intervals for checkups on his bones. His arms and his legs were mostly affected. They could've provided a comfort that he needed when he spent so long in those halls.

Drake sits back down on the end of the futon part of the couch with the lizard stuffed animal clutched in his grip. Thinking maybe. His parents sometimes gave him gifts when they were done with work and met him at the hospital. They were always so invested with their work to find some sort of cure for him. A disease that supposedly couldn't be cured as it had been something since birth. A rare… sickness. He can't remember the exact details.

Mostly because he didn't understand the talkings about it. Even in the same room with the doctors, Drake never got a full understanding of what his disease really did to him. He knew it hurt. It always hurts. And.. when he first transformed. Drake was scared beyond belief. Afraid he couldn't change back. But, thankfully he learned one day that he could change back. But, little did many know there was a point to why he could transform. Even if Drake couldn't understand it.

He placed the stuffed animal back onto the couch and stood back up. Drake walked away normally towards the kitchen to explore that portion of the house. The kitchen had its own set of charms too. A bowl of fruit sat idly on the counter. The sunshine pushing through the window reflecting onto the fridge and the counter. The sun is nearly up. It's trying to push past through the trees. The speckles of shadows dancing on the wall. It's warmth settling against Drake's face.

The child smiled softly again just embracing the silence of the house. It didn't seem like anyone was up yet. He had to embrace it as best as he could while he had a chance. He's dreading the conversation. How could he explain it to Bandit or Chili who made last night fun? When he was having fun talking to them and their kids? Drake sighs looking out the window from where he would approach. Letting the sunlight vibrantly color him. The vibrations of yellow from the sun and black from the shadows against his face.

Before he left the bad people… Drake always wanted to feel the sun. Yesterday afternoon was a perfect indication of what he always wanted in a day. Frolicking and playing about in the sun. Thankfully he didn't get any sunburn or anything of that nature. Due to giraffes being more attune to the heat, it didn't affect him as greatly as some of the dog people here. Which begged the question… what WOULD happen now that he's gone from the hospital? Would they try to find him? It would make sense to Drake that his mom and dad would be coming to look for him. Drake couldn't do anything about this, sure. But he's worried about the Heelers more than himself at this point. Apart of him is scared he'll just lead them to the Heelers. Drake should just leave while he could.

But he knows he owes Chili an explanation for last night. The hole in the staircase is evident.

Drake decided to take a seat on the kitchen stool and watch the sunlight rise. Drake turned around onto his hoove to make his way towards the stool. Grunting, he hopped onto the stool and swiveled himself to focus back on the backyard window. Tucking the scarf against his neck. A gift that he would forever cherish.

His mother's gift when he was once incredibly cold in the hospital. It didn't smell like her anymore. A bit dirty too. Playing around in the grass yesterday didn't help. He could find a river or something to clean it with.

Drake didn't want to let it go. The one thing he's deathly protective of. Drake knows his parents weren't perfect, but, at the very least they didn't change the way they did back then. Drake sighs and leaned his head against the counter. His chin pressed against the surface watching the trees. Beautiful. He's not sure what else to do right now. He's scared to walk around upstairs. All he could do is wait for the inevitable interaction. If he tried to run, he'd never forgive himself for Bluey and Bingo's sake.

He doesn't know how long he's waited for, but it was then that he heard the movement upstairs with the raise of his ears. Oh boy… here we go. Drake just waited for whoever was upstairs to come down. Drake's heart hitting against his chest.

Scared. Very scared right now. It was like when a child did something bad and they were just waiting to have their punishment given to them. Except this feeling is amplified ten times over. Drake's anxiety is starting to pile up. He can't tell who it is. Bandit or Chili. If it were one of the girls, then the footsteps would've been lighter and less pressure on the floor. Drake picks his chin off the counter glancing over at the doorway where it would lead into the kitchen. His ears folded shamefully.

He's not sure what he's going to say to them. Whoever it was. Exiting down the stairs he could hear the Heeler parent carefully who must've been trying to be quiet to avoid waking Drake up. But, he wouldn't be there. A sudden halt of movement coming from the stairs.

"Drake? Where'd you go?" A quiet callout to Drake. Oh, he recognized that one. It was Mrs. Heeler. Chili must've not seen him on the couch and got worried. Drake exhales ready now. Not like he had any choice but to be. He looks down at the counter not wanting to face Chili.

"...In here.." Drake replied back in that same callout. Loud enough to be heard, but not enough to wake up others.

Chili sighs in relief that Drake is still in the house at the very least. She knows last night wasn't a good one for either of them and she didn't want to think of the worst. But, children were unpredictable. Especially in Drake's case where he's still new with her. Finishing her descent down the stairs, Chili begins to make her way towards the kitchen where Drake sat on the stool. The expression on his face is one that didn't exactly show being excited at Chili's presence. She knows why. Chili still needed to clean up the wooden splinters on the ground before the kids got up for school today. There's tension in the air. One that didn't exactly make one another comfortable to say something. Drake is clearly nervous just from his expression staring at the counter.

Chili knits her brows not sure how to bring up last night to him. Maybe he knew it too that this is inevitable and they're only delaying said inevitability.

She decided that it's better to ease his fear by just sparking conversation that wasn't about last night. She sits onto the stool next to him looking outside with him. A small smile brightening her cheeks. "Heya, kiddo. Didn't think you'd be up this early. I've always liked the mornings when the sun is just about to rise. Makes things more pretty, doesn't it?" She glanced down at Drake who didn't answer at first.

Drake seemed so troubled. She knew in her heart something had been wrong when he came to her and Bandit that evening. A mothers instinct typically wasn't wrong. She didn't understand a lot of things. The world is a HUGE place. To have a kid come to them from out of some sort of superhero movie was out of left field. But, this is still Drake. So

Drake seems to only give a weak hum in reply not being sure what to reply with to her. Drake felt this wave of anxiety slowly rise to his system. He wanted to talk with her! He SO desperately did. The words, however, would not fall out. Drake decided to humor her a little bit. "Y-Yeah.. Though I nevah really got t'play outside.." Drake replied back to her. Her expression worries further.

"Why's that, kiddo?" She asks curiously as if wanting to know more about him. Children playing outside should be the best times of their lives! To explore. To play pretend. For adventure. Drake barely getting to play outside sounded so.. Sad..

Drake looked up to her for the first time since this morning. His own expression tightening. "Because.. I was always sick. M'mum an' dad didn't let me play outside because I couldn't." Drake looked back outside deciding to spill the beans. "M'mum said that I was always sick since I was really little. I couldn't even really move a lot without everythin' hurting. And… playin' outside fer the first time with Bingo and Bluey was really fun! I.. I wanna play outside with them more! I-I don' wanna be in trouble.. I don't wanna be not allowed to play with Bluey n'Bingo..." Drake felt himself well up with tears. Chili knows that expression all too well. The one where a child is about to cry. She reacts accordingly.

Chili would soothingly place a hand onto his and slowly rubbed his hand. "Hey… hey.. No one said you're not allowed to play with them anymore.. You're not in trouble, I promise. I'll admit last night was really… not expected." Understatement of the year following a sheepish chuckle. "..But that doesn't mean you can't see them anymore. You're still welcome here, okay?" Drake sniffles a breath, seeming a bit shocked at this outcome.

"W-Wait.. You really mean that?" Drake couldn't believe it. Even after accidentally breaking a part of their house and waking up the kids last night… he would really be welcomed here, still? Skeptical, but he'll take her word for it. Drake brings himself over to hug Chili tightly. "Thank you.. Mrs. Heeler.. I'm really, really sorry again for last night." Chili sighs, seeming glad that Drake decided to believe her. It's a start at least. Drake must've not had many friends since his 'sickness' seemed to be a hindrance to his life. But she won't press into it if he doesn't want to. She didn't want him to feel like an outcast here.

"Of course I meant it. Everyone here likes you. You're a good kid whether you believe it or not. But.. Drake." hugging him close, she felt better that he's cheering up a bit. "Don't worry about it anymore. You can always see them and visit us." She reassures him. Drake glanced at the floor unsure what else to say to her or how to bring up the fact he ran away from his 'home'. If she accepts him with the 'disability' he has, then, he'll try it.

"M-Mrs.. Heeler? Can.. Can I tell you another thing? I-I.." Drake stops hugging her and pushes his face into his scarf as if to hide his features. "I don' have… anywhere t-to.. go." Drake didn't look at her again, but if he would've… it would've been complete and utter shock to hear this. Now THIS is a situation that she has not faced before. Her expression said it all. Disbelief. So.. then it meant.. He's an orphan..? Or, did he have family but not a home? She needed to take this more seriously if what he's saying is true. This didn't just affect him, but now the Heelers.

Taking an internal mental slap to the face to herself to react again, she takes his hands into her own. Her expression is more serious but, wanting him to be honest with her at this moment.

"Drake.. I want you to be honest with me, okay?" A nod in response from the younger calf. "How long have you been like this?" Drake sighs and wipes his eyes with his wrists.

"J-Just a few days." So it meant that he hadn't been out there TOO long, but the streets for a kid his age is too dang long for her to be comfortable with. What should she even do? She knows she's going to keep Drake here as long as he needs to because she'll be DAMNED if she ever makes him go back out there in this weather AND at his age. She just isn't sure what she'll tell her kids. She HATED lying. Especially to her family? That's not her. Drake's hands tighten.

"I-I'm really sorry I lied.. I-I didn't want to have th-them find me.. The bad people. They wou..would take me back to the hospital and I'd be really in trouble.." Chili shakes her head. She's absolutely pitying this poor thing.

"Don't worry, Drake. You're safe here now. Nothing will hurt you here. We'll find a way." She smiled up at him.

"Y-You don't know that.. I-I.. I'm scared. T-the bad people are.. The ones who made me like this.." Drake would roll up his hoodie sleeve and placed his arm onto the counter. His knuckles tightening fiercely where a portion of the metallic substance would clink against his skin turning it into the chrome that Chili saw last night. Thankfully, Chili is more calm about the situation. She isn't sure what these people have done to this child, but she felt there's more than he's letting on. She won't force him. The time will come when he's ready and willing to tell more about what he went through and what these bad people are.

"..I'm just scared they'll hurt you too." Drake finishes. Chili rubbed his arm soothingly.

The only reason Drake told her any of this is because in all honesty? He's scared. He's REALLY scared that they'd find him again. He's been longing for an escape from these people. The hospital. The bad people. His mother and father. How would they react to Drake having left the place where they could understand his abilities? Maybe because he's too afraid to face them now. He just wanted a place to hide that they couldn't find him at. He'd certainly be in heaps of trouble.

"It'll be okay, I'm sure. But I don't think it's a good idea to show that to just anyone, honey." Chili worries whoever these 'bad people' are would find him easier if people knew about Drake's strange ability. Even she's still perplexed about just seeing it right in front of her. Just even adding to her confirmation about what she saw last night wasn't a dream.

"I know. I don't show it to anyone because I never could. But… I'm too scared to show people. I didn't want this anyway." Drake would reply to her untightening his knuckle where the chrome piece of limb would return back to normal.

"But… this stupid thing made me better. M'mum said my bones are made of metal now. So that's why I can walk and move now." Drake admits. So… possibly a good idea to not take him to places where there's a metal detector. Noted.

"Would… it be okay if I could tell Bingo N'Bluey? I don't wanna keep it a secret from them. I don't want them to be mad at me for lying to them." Chili felt that was NOT a good idea. She trusted her kids, but kids could make mistakes and if by the off chance that one of them said something to their friends, that might get them into trouble. Chili decides against it.

Chili sighs. "If I were you, Drake. And I know this isn't what you want to hear. But I don't think it's a good idea. Just for now, okay? Wait until it's the right time." Chili felt bad about that, but she has to try to be the voice of reason. "You'll know when it's time."

"But… When will I know? I don't really know anything.." he whined.

"You will. I know it. It's just that we want to make sure that this is something that you really, really trust them with. Sometimes the best way to tell someone is without being afraid." Chili had a point in a way. Drake's only known Bluey and Bingo for a day now. How could he tell them such a thing? He's never told anyone this before besides for the people at the hospital. Drake nodded disappointed.

"Okay… I won't tell them." Chili sighs of relief. She's going to make this work. Maybe the two should just spend the day together while bandit took the kids to school. Oh, gosh how is she going to tell them that Drake would be staying with them? Family meeting later tonight. That is what is most likely going to happen.

"You can tell them eventually. It's just too soon, okay?" Chili just wanted him to be sure if he really wanted to tell them instead of feeling pressured to tell them just because he told Chili. Bandit knew from last night, so, there wasn't any point keeping it from him either.

"Okay.. I understand.." He really didn't, but he'll trust Chili to guide him about what he should do since that's all he has done is cause trouble. Chili stood up to approach the fridge digging into the contents of it.

"Heh.. I think that the mornings already been serious enough, so why don't we have something to eat? I'm sure you're starving!" Trying to change the subject so that way he didn't feel any more bad then he's already feeling. The kids should be up soon anyway, so why not get a head start on breakfast while Bandit got the kids up. She decided today is pancake day. That should get the kids in a good mood and help cheer Drake up. He's only allergic to pepper items. So, there wasn't any reason to use them in the ingredients.

Gathering the ingredients together for the preparation phase of making the pancakes in the little pancake maker, she wanted to add a couple toppings for the insertion of the pancakes such as little strawberries for the kids. Drake seemed to feel a lot better now that he got it off of his chest about his situation.

But that also begged the question, what is she going to do now? She doesn't know who his parents are or if law enforcement should get involved. Something told Chili that if his parents are somehow involved with Drake being the way he was as he stated about his mum saying he got better from the metal being used, then she is going to guess that his mother did something to him that he didn't want. This is a lot to think about. Suppose when that bridge is crossed. It's time for a nice breakfast for the kids.

It wouldn't be long until the kids were up and around with Bandits help. The splinters were cleaned up by Chili before they got up to make sure they didn't step on anything that might hurt them. Everything seemed in place. Except for the evident hole in the staircase that is still there. They'd just have to repair it themselves or call someone over to repair it. They'd probably just fib that it grew old for some reason and fell off. Though, that even would be hard to explain. Eh… when the bridge is crossed.

Drake heard the girls coming down the stairs a lot faster than Chili did earlier, seeming to want to know if Drake was up already. Drake's head turnt over his shoulder finding them giddy with excitement. Drake found that to be a bit contagious, his own expression turning up.

"Mornin' Bluey. Mornin' Bingo!" Drake greeted the pair of Heelers. His hand waved lightly to their presence. If it's one thing that could cheer the calf up from his own sense of sadness is them. Yesterday was one of the best days that he's ever had.

Their sunshine is something that he felt could cure that feeling of loneliness. Even if he's gotta fake that smile now. He would do it for them. He didn't want them to worry about him anymore. Drake has to do his best to pretend everything is fine. He figured Chili had to as well until Drake was ready to tell them as Chili advised.

Drake wanted to tell them. But, how would they react? Drake has spent so long trying to be normal whenever he moved countries and had to start again. This would be the last ever he'd have to move away and start new. This is his fresh start. Drake hopped down from his seat where Drake is greeted by a hug from both Bingo and Bluey.

"Morning, Dwake! Did you sleep okay?" Bingo asks after having seen what she had last night with him sitting in the middle of the floor crying his eyes out. Bingo had bad dreams, too! So, she knows how scary things could be when one experienced it by themselves without anyone to talk to. Bandit didn't let them see Drake last night after the accident and had been told that he had a really bad dream.

So; Bingo wanted to be sure he's okay. Drake didn't want to talk about it anymore.

"I-I'm okay.. Don't worry, Bingo. I promise Oi'm okay.." He answered taking Chili's words into mind and looked over to Chili for assistance on how to tell Bingo and Bluey that he would be staying a little bit longer then normal.

Chili would clear her throat and looked over her pair of girls and rested her hands on the table. "Girls, I have some good news! Drake will be staying with us for a little bit longer! His parents said it was okay." Bingo and Bluey looked up from their breakfast in glee.

"Really!? Yayy! Drake is gonna sleepover more!" Bluey would say in excitement with her tail wagging on her seat. Thank you, Chili. Drake's smile brightened a little bit when he had Chili help him explain why he'd be staying here at the house. Bluey and Bingo would continue to eat away at their breakfast for the school day to start! After all, Bingo and Bluey didn't want to be late for Ms. Calypso! They were good girls who were always on time!

Drake ate with the girls at his own pace and made sure to get his fill in. After all, he didn't like the idea of burdening this family with his issues any more than he had to. The split open staircase is evident of that. Bluey swallowing her bite would grin in excitement.

"Drake, maybe sometime you should come to our school to meet Ms. Calypso. She's the nicest teacher ever!" Bluey said with glee. He's never had such a nice teacher before if he's being honest. Sure, he had tutors back at the hospital and facility, but they didn't really care a whole lot about Drake besides for his progress in his abilities and how he presented himself. After all, he was a medical marvel back at the facility where he came from. He didn't have any friends like him. He was alone in that regard.

The only reason he could do the things he did is because he let them poke and prod him like cattle. Drake would take another bite into his pancakes and tilted his head. "You think she would like me?" He asks as if unsure if that was a good idea to go back to a place where memories of being taught basic things were hard on him. If he didn't preform well, he got punished. That's how the facility worked anyway. Drake would notice Chili leaning her stomach against the counter.

"I think that's a wonderful idea, Bluey. But let's go at Drake's pace, okay? I'm sure that meeting new people is quite a big step up." She advises which Bluey could agree due to how Drake reacted to her and her friends yesterday. She didn't want to make him feel all nervous and scared right off of the bat. Bluey liked talking about her teacher. Calypso was someone that Drake could trust instantly! She just knows it. Bingo smiled warmly herself.

"Uh-huh! Ms. Calypso likes helping people whenever I go there with Bluey!" She added. If this Calypso person is nice as they say, he'll take their word for it. Even if that he wasn't EXACTLY comfortable with meeting her just yet. Bluey and Bingo would eventually finished their meal and Bandit would make sure his girls were all ready up for school time. They had to be there a little early since Bandit needed to bring the car back to home so that way Chili could take Drake out today for clothes. Firstly though, he needed to clean up. Finishing his breakfast, Chili takes their plates and puts them tenderly into the sink.

"C'mon girls, we gotta be there early!" Bandit said as he wanted to make sure they were ready for the day. Bingo tilted her head a little bit.

"How come? We never go to school early." Chili would intervene.

"I have some chores I have to run around today and I can't just leave Drake home alone by himself so he'll be with me."

"Ooooh! Okay, that makes MORE sense!" Bingo said as if she hadn't realized before. Bingo and Bluey follow Bandit upstairs towards the bathroom so that way they could brush their teeth before school leaving Chili and Drake back downstairs.

"I just need to know Drake, are you alright with bathing by yourself? I know it's a silly question, but I don't want you feelin' overwhelmed." She says cautiously making sure Drake's comfort level is priority.

Drake nodded softly. "Y-Yeah, I don' moind. If I didn't have these things inside of me, then I would have to have help before." Except Drake's bath times were always cold and didn't really leave him a lot of time to himself. His days were always filled with business. So; Drake didn't get to be by himself in the tub. Which thankfully he would be able to just soak in the tub and let the worries of today melt away. He wouldn't take TOO much time since Chili had said she needed to do chores with Drake. He wondered what kind of chores they would be doing. He would have to wait and see.

After about twenty or so minutes, Bingo, Bluey, and Bandit would say their goodbyes to Drake and would leave causing Chili to scoot herself from her seat and begin to clean up the plates. "Our bathroom is upstairs to the right!" She called out to Drake as he began to leave. Drake would nod in response and followed her instructions away towards the bathroom sighing and letting him close the door behind him. He stared at himself in the mirror again.

An inhale. Exhale. Right. Time for him to undress. Pulling off his clothing, the child would set down his clothing in a heap frowning at his frame in the mirror. Before Drake is a LOT of scarring around his knees, his arms, shoulders and legs. Old faint wounds of needle entrances and other medical tools who left their mark in the nine year old boy. He felt so bad about how he needed to hide his abilities from his new friends. They gave him an opportunity to start again. Away from his parents. Away from the bad people. They couldn't find him here, right?

Right. He had to just keep hoping. Bending over to turn on the water, his hooves slip into the tub easily and sinks himself against the back of the tub with a shuddered and blissful purr. When was the last time he actually had a moment by himself being able to actually relax inside the tub? That is a memory he doesn't remember. The water filled inside of the tub slowly but surely. He decided to give himself a look over again.

Gripping his knuckles tightly, the chrome would begin to form in a wet and shiny texture that dripped back into the tub. Was it really a good idea to lie to his friends like this? What if they found out anyway? Shouldn't he be honest with his friends? If Chili said to wait, then he won't tell. He would keep his promise. Sliding further and further into the tub, the calf boy lets his soft and gentle caramel brown hair soak into the tub letting himself float along the edges of the tub and closing his eyes trying to think to himself. His thoughts and mind wander to how things used to be. Until those thoughts would return.

'Subject 303. Respond. 303 Respond."

RESPOND SUBJECT 303!

A voice played in the back of his mind causing the child to suddenly raise his head towards the surface of the water and gasp out as if thinking someone had been there with him in the first place. Why couldn't the voices leave him alone? He rubbed at his eyes pushing the water out of his face and looked at his fist that was shaking softly. No matter where he went, he swears that they will follow him everywhere. Drake grunted and slowly sat up against the tub again unsure if he should use their products or not.

He's going to have to clean himself up, right? He may as well just do so and clean up using Bingo and Bluey's shampoo and body wash. Squirting a few drops of the body wash onto his hands and spreading them around, and pressing it into his fur. The sandy smell of the beach and ocean permeated around his soft and scarred skin. How would Chili and Bandit react if they saw his body like this? If they saw this child with so much skin that had been toyed with and destroyed all in the name of helping his sickness. Drake remembered those days that he couldn't even walk around witihout the fear of breaking his bones just by a small fall.

The child felt a LOT better getting the dirt and the sweat off his brows and face. He looked decent for once. After the day he's had and the night that still is fresh on his mind, he wanted nothing more then to forget that any of it happened. Once the process of cleaning his body and his hair had finished, Drake slips himself out of the tub leaving a wet stain on the towel on the floor that purposefully planted there for any water to be caught.

Drake felt… happier for once that things were going his way. Still, it didn't help that he believed he's putting the Heelers in danger by being inside of their home. He just hoped he wouldn't come to regret his decision of staying here longer than he needed to. If it's one thing that he knew, it's that being a mama's boy came with a cost. And that cost would follow him around until he came back to his roots. Because he knows without his medicine, he won't be able to keep walking around like this.
