A new school year has begun at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As the students were arriving in the carriages, a carriage driven by a white-winged horse came flying through. It landed on the school grounds, and the horse pulled the carriage to the front gates. The driver stopped before the gates and hopped down from the carriage. He tended to the horse as the school caretaker, Mr. Filch, walked to the carriage. He opened the door, and someone stepped out in a long black cloak that covered them entirely. Mr. Filch led The person inside, and they disappeared with a snap inside the gate. Later on, at dinner, McGonagall stood up to make an announcement. Cho Chang showed off her new jewelry set at the Ravenclaw table.
"You look pretty, Cho." Marella, Cho's friend said.
"I know," Cho said. "There is no way Harry won't come crawling back to be with me." She said.
"Attention students. This year, we have a new student transferring from Asia." McGonagall said. "Please help me welcome Miss Anastasia Jing." She said.
A person in a black cloak walked into the Great Hall. The house elf helped them remove their cloak, revealing a young lady in a light blue Hanfu dress. Her long black hair was put up with a pair of silver hair sticks. There was a silver necklace with a diamond rose hanging around her neck. She wore a pink outer layer to her dress and had a white sash hanging around her shoulders. Her eyes opened to reveal a pair of baby blue eyes. Her lips were glossed pink, and she carried a fan. She walked up to the stage and walked up to the headmistress.
"Welcome to Hogwarts, Anastasia," McGonagall said.
"Thank you, headmistress." She said, giving a small curtsy.
"Since you were sorted over the summer, you can join your housemates," McGonagall said.
"Yes, ma'am." She said.
She walked down the steps and over to the Slytherin House table. As she passed the students, a male voice called out to her.
"Wait." A male voice said in Mandarin.
She turned around to see a blond-haired guy stand up. The guy walked up to her and gave her a deep bow.
"Follow me." He said.
He led her to the seat beside him and helped her into a chair.
"Thank you," Anastasia said.
"You're welcome." He said. "My name is Draco Malfoy."
"It's nice to meet you." She said.
Draco began asking her about herself as they started eating dinner. After dinner, Draco took her to the Slytherin Common Room.
"Okay. So the girls' dorms are up the stairs and to the left." Draco said.
"How will I know which dorm mine is?" She asked.
"Come on. I'll show you." He said as he grasped her hand.
He led her up the stairs to the dorms. They entered the hallway to see several doors. Draco led her down the hall to a door with a silver plaque that said Jing on it.
"so this is your room. All your things should be inside." Draco said.
"Thank you, Draco," Anastasia said. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow." She said.
"Sure. Well, good night." Draco said.
"Good night, Draco." She said before she went into her dorm.
She closed the door and started getting ready for bed. She went into her trunk and took out her pink silk pajamas. She went into her bathroom and turned on the shower. After she had showered and dressed, she sat at her desk. She took out her Calligraphy brush and her inkstone. She ground up some ink and dipped her brush into the ink. She took out some parchment and wrote a letter home to her parents. After writing the letter, she sent it off with her pet hawk. She walked over to her bed after closing the window and climbed. She put on her facial mask and rested on her bed to sleep.
