Chapter X: Welcome To Factory Island.
Lee's Hose 7:13 AM
Lee walks to his desk and looks at his clues.
I'm one of the guys who got blamed for pulling off the biggest prank in history, and we got a year of detention for it. But we didn't do it. So now we break the rules to prove we never broke the rules. And, yeah, it's a pretty vicious circle. I found a bunch of numbers on my phone that led to a locker with my and Naruto's missing bags in it.
But to get to it, I had to tangle with some pretty tough hombres. The fifteenth graders. Luckily, things turned out okay. Thing is, I think the school mascot, the Tazelwurm, left me those numbers on my phone. It's so weird.
Lee then looks at his computer as he sits. "Is the Tazelwurm trying to help me with the investigation?"
Tunnel, 4:12 PM
At 4:15, detention gets out. But we're not there! Y'see, we went on a field trip today, and… Some of us never made it back.
Lee and Naruto are running through a tunnel, much like those under the school, while pushing a knocked-out Barrage in a wheelchair, and they hear an alarm go off and a constant beeping accompanies them.
"Core explosion in two minutes." A robotic female voice spoke out on the speakers.
"Keep moving guys. Run!" Naruto yells as he pushes the knocked-out principal.
Ahead of them are several of their classmates: Cam, Brandy, Tina, Lynch, Suzie, Greta, two environmentalists, and Holger. Suddenly, two pairs of blue eyes peek out of the darkness, and the group skids to a halt. The eyes attack, revealing that they're attached to two blue Tazelwurms. Tina screams and tries to run away.
"Tina! No!"
Tina claws at the walls of the tunnel as a Tazelwurm closes in on her. Naruto runs over to try and help but finds himself pinned to the ground when the other blue Tazelwurm leaps onto him. "AAAAHHH!"
Naruto pressed the maw back with his left arm having drool get on his compression sleeve.
Earlier that day… 8:15 AM.
Lee is drinking a purple soda as he waits by a bus stop. He tosses the can at a trash bin when he finishes, and it goes in cleanly. "Yeah!"
The bus pulls up, and Lee boards. On the bus are his three best friends.
"No. Holger won't do it. He won't! Poor little flippity-floppity hoppities!"
"I'm sure they have an alternative Holg," Naruto said as he sat on the bench against the wall as he looks over at Cam and Holger sitting on the seat beside the bench.
Lee walking up at that. "What's the freakout, Holg?"
"Bro's tripping 'cause we're dissecting frogs today? Personally, I can't wait, you know what I'm saying?" Cam asks as he holds out his fist for a bump.
Lee shook his head before speaking. "Gross, I'm with Holger, it's kinda mean."
"Ese is there like something, uh, different about you?" Cam asks narrowing his eyes
"Ja, have you been using the fancy lotion? Frowny worry-face go bye-bye." Holger asks with a smile.
"I don't frown. Do I?"
"Frowning now," Naruto says leaning back as Lee holds onto the post that's connected to the bench as the bus starts moving.
"The only difference is I got my old bag back. The one that got switched during the prank." Lee swings around to show off his bag to his friends and hits Cam in the face with it. The force of the blow sends Cam falling backward into his seat.
"Aah! Ow, dude! Whadda you got in there?"
Lee looks inside and gasps. "Whoa!" He spots something sewn into the bag's lining. "What is in here?"
"So exciting! Holger love surprises. Open. Open!"
Lee fights with his backpack, trying to rip the lining open and get at what's inside. "I got it." Naruto grabs the bag rips the liner at the top and pulls out an object.
It's about an inch tall in height, with half of its height given to an octagonal cylinder and the rest forming a sloped edge to the smaller, octagonal top. On top of the object is an odd symbol drawn in black. The entire object appears to be a vaguely yellowish metal.
"It's not something edible? Boo!" Cam jeers as he crosses his arms.
Later, the four are walking inside as Greta runs by. "Run for your life!"
Camillio nudges Holger at that. "Yo dude, it's that girl you like for whatever reason."
"Run! They're coming!"
Greta is followed by the other mathletes, also fleeing. Lee fiddles with the object and manages to get eight legs to pop out of it as Tina speaks over the intercom.
"Will the following students report to Room 113b: Suzie Elliott and Camillio Martinez."
"Wait. What was Greta running from?"
The Skaters run past them at that. "Frogs, man!"
The skaters are followed by several frogs. Naruto looks to see that frogs are everywhere in the hall, causing chaos among members of several different cliques, all of whom are overwhelmed by the amphibians.
"This is the Frogaggedon people in my village always say is coming! First the frogs, then the air turns to delicious syrup, then shoes become two sizes too small!" Holger says before a frog leaps onto his head. "Ahh-hoo!"
Tina appears beside Naruto having him blink as she holds a microphone. "This is Tina Kwee, first on the scene with your frog infestation update. It appears–"
A hand appears and shoves her aside as Chaz smiles. "That Chaz Monerainian is on the scene too. And the frogs are finally taking revenge for all those years being dissected." He says before a frog lands next to his foot. "AAAAAHH!" He yells running down the hall in a blind panic "One just touched me!"
"Or, more likely, another prank." Tina sighs at that as Chaz gets ambushed by an avalanche of frogs that appear from around a corner.
"AAAAHH!"
"I'm with Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto, you dabbled in frogs with your first epic prank. Are you just running out of ideas at this point?" Tina asks the blonde.
"That's stereotyping." Naruto deadpanned at her. "Just because I've done pranks in the past and was framed for the one at the start of the year, you assume it's me? I just got here. I didn't do it!"
Barrage's Office.
"As soon as I try to have a five-minute corn muffin break, the whole school goes pistachio hazelnut!"
Barrage facepalms as Victoria runs in. "Shut down the school! Send everyone home! The frogs! They're everywhere!" She yells before a frog leaps out of her hair and steals the principal's muffin.
"My muffin!" Barrage yells before he looks back at his subordinate. "And you. Settle down. They can smell your fear." He brings up a map of the school on a monitor. "According to this, we have a complete frog infestation here, here, and here, leaving this quadrant and this, frog-free." He points to the indicated areas on the map. "We'll just adapt and hold classes there until the hazmats bring it all under control."
"But you can't fit the entire school into only those rooms," Victoria explains to him.
"Maybe not. But we can fit three full grades! The question is, what do we do with the last grade?"
"Send them on a field trip." She says bringing up a suitcase and rummaging through it. "I always keep possible field trip locations in case of emergency."
Barrage then reaches for the microphone for the sound system. "Eleventh graders, report to the parking lot for an immediate field trip to–" The vice principal hands him a pamphlet as he then reads it uncertainly. "The Green Apple Splat Sody-Pop Factory? Good enough! Move out!"
Later.
A ferry of the 11th graders approaches an island where a dark, foreboding factory is at the top of a hill. "Ooh, the island of Doctor Splat, man! It'll turn your blood into delicious green apple soda." Cam said as he held the railing Holger groaned, his face green.
"That frog stuff was crazy! And probably not a coincidence that it was also dissection day." Lee mused as he looked around.
"Ooh. Boats make rocky movements." Holger groans as Greta walks over.
"Hey, Holger. Isn't it just a perfect day for an aquatic journey?" Greta slaps Holger on the back in a friendly manner and makes Holger throw up over the side of the boat. "Uh, I'll come back later."
"That's one way to win her over." Naruto patted Holger on the back as Cam looked over.
"Bro-oh, y'know, I haven't seen this many frogs since… The big prank." Cam whispers the last part as
Naruto looks to see three teens standing by the group.
Lee looks around the boat before speaking. "So–who's really into frogs?" His gaze settles on the Tree Huggers two guys and a girl.
The first guy is rather tall wearing a red beanie, and glasses, and has brown hair. He's wearing an army-styled jacket over a green shirt.
The second guy is wearing a green newsboy cap with a green vest over a white shirt and jeans.
The third is a girl with blond hair styled in braids and locks with a green bandanna, glasses, and a purple shirt and jeans.
"Stop! My muffin!"
The girl walked up to Barrage who was keeping a pelican from taking his muffin. "Uh, Mister Authority Figure? You should totally like, treat Mother Nature's creations better. Birds are people too!"
Barrage looks at her before speaking. "No, they're not, they're birds. And birds are muffin-stealing vermin!" The pelican then reaches out and steals his muffin. "Aww!"
Naruto turns with Lee, Cam, and Holger to stare at the island they are to visit.
The foyer of the building is large, poorly lit, and industrial.
As they landed, a male employee in green coveralls came over to greet them.
"I'm Sal. Welcome to the Green Apple Splat factory. This is the tour." He greeted in a monotone voice before he opened a fridge, revealing that it was stocked with soda. "Loads of free Splat samples."
"Bonus! I'm gonna drink so much free Splat it's gonna turn my hair green!" Cam smiles as Lee looks over to the Tree Huggers. "Hey, crazy thing with the frogs, right, Susie?"
Tina comes up at that. "Yeah, I heard you saying 'free the frogs' just yesterday! Any idea what happened this morning?"
Susie narrows her eyes at Tina. "Oh, no way I talk to Miss Corporate Media! You'll like, take my truth, and turn it into a pie of lies!"
"Did someone mention something about pie?" Holger asks feeling better.
"There's my boyfriend!" Brandy appeared and started dragging Lee away "I've been looking for you."
"Now if you'll all come with me we can watch a wonderful film about your favorite drink. Hooray." Sam says as Naruto is in front walks with the class hands in his pockets.
"Ooh! Is it pressed prunes and clam juice?" Holger asks as Greta rubs Holger's arm.
"Mmm, my favorite too." She wriggles her eyebrow at Holger, who smiles.
As they get inside, the students crowd into a room to watch a film on how Green Apple Splat came to be.
A king came up holding a nose cleaning device to his nose. "Green Apple Splat. Once the nostril cleaner of Mesopotamian royalty, now the nation's fifth-leading fruit-based carbonated drink." A scientist then came up with a frog and apple connected to wires on a table then came up. "Founded by Doctor Leopold Webber back in 1952, when a top-secret government brainwashing experiment involving apples and frogs went awry."
A recreation of the experiment is shown, where the experiment ends with the frog and the apple exploding. "The doctor turned his misfortune into the tasty beverage we all love today." A drawing of happy children drinking Green Apple Splat is then shown. "Green Apple Splat! It's the splattiest!"
The filmstrip ends. Everybody in the room looks disgusted by the information on how the drink is made–except for Cam, who is excited to drink more Green Apple Splat.
"And that's the movie. Wow. Every time I see it I wonder why I get out of bed in the morning. Now if you'll follow me…" Sal spoke before walking to the factory floor where he pointed to various machines and areas. "That's the apple smusher." He points to said smusher that has apples tumbling into it. "The core 'sploder." Apple cores are seen exiting the apple smusher and entering an incinerator. "That's where I eat my lunch."
He points to a folding chair by the stairs A folding chair is shown. "And that's the coloring vat."
The coloring vat consists of several large tubes filled with Green Apple Splat and frogs.
"Uuuh! Are those real frogs swimming in the juice?" Suzie asks as Naruto blinks.
'A trip to a green-colored soda factory where the 'secret' ingredient is something disgusting? This seems familiar.' He thought before turning as he thought he heard music playing. 'I swear if I see little singing men..."
"That's how we get the coloring. The process has been refined. The frogs rarely explode anymore." Sal explains as the Tree Huggers gasp, shocked. "After coloring, the Splat goes there." Sal indicating to a large machine. Holger is standing by a control panel attached to the machine and looking at it curiously. "Careful, tall weird-looking… Boy? That's a delicate machine. We had a meltdown in the nineties. Had to shut down till last year. Not fun."
Tina walks up to Sal at that. "Could it happen again?" She asks as Sal gives an unenthusiastic shrug.
"Sure. If someone say, pulled all these levers down. But who'd wanna do a thing like that?" The environmentalists are now examining the levers Sal indicated closely. Lee notices, and Suzie spots him. She nudges her friends, and the Tree Huggers try to look natural. "If a meltdown occurred, this place seals itself off."
"What about everyone trapped inside?" Tina asks him.
"They either disintegrate from the fumes or go insane and we quarantine them in Wing Thirteen." Sal points to the wing, and the students back away from the door.
"Mister Grumpy Apple-man? Is Ving Thirteen zhe teensy bit haunted with ghosts maybe?" Holger asks the worker.
"Don't know. Probably."
"How did the meltdown happen?" Tina asks before Sal starts to explain.
"First there was a loud siren."
(A-Whoo!)
"Like that. Then red lights came on." Red lights begin flashing over the factory floor. "Like that. Then we ran. Like this." Sal begins running. He stops when he sees that nobody is following him. "No, seriously, you better run."
"C'mon, people. Go, go, go!" Barrage yells out waving a hand.
Most of the class scrambles for the exits before Lee spies Cam trying to filch a few free bottles. "Cam! C'mon!"
Lee yanks Cam away from the free Green Apple Splat. Unfortunately, a door is shutting on their location. Most of the class manages to make it out, but some students are trapped, including Lee, Naruto, Lynch, Greta, Cam, Holger, Brandy, and Tina. The students gaze out of the window in the door for a few seconds before backing away.
"O-kay. We are o-fficially trapped." Lynch spoke in a worried tone.
"I can't get a signal," Greta said checking her phone.
"Could be all the equipment." Naruto mused as Tina grabbed his arm.
"They forgot us?"
"I have about forty reasons why they'd forget you, but how could they forget me?" Brandy asks as Tina glares.
"Okay, that's it! We are so on!"
Tina leaps on Brandy, and a fight ensues. "I… Kinda don't want to break it up." Naruto said watching the fight. Lee rushes in and inserts himself between the two fighters. "Really?"
"Guys! They'll realize we're missing and figure a way to get us out."
Camillio nods at that as he walks up. "The Ping man's right. While we wait, uh, wanna play Spin zeh Bottle?"
Lee sighs and rubs his face. "Something tells me this is gonna be a long day."
Outside nearly everyone had boarded the boat back to the mainland before Kimmie spoke in a board tone. "We left Brandy behind. We're gonna need a new Glamazon."
Biffy smiled as he got up to them. "Well look no further. La-de-da, I'm so pretty and perfect and ladylike. And judgmental, too."
Kimmie smiles as Biffy was strutting around mocking them. "Well. He does have the walk down."
The principal scans the boat with his cyborg eye before Sal speaks up. "C'mon. We have to cast off before it's too late!"
"We're short a few soldiers, and this general, NEVER LEAVES ANY BEHIND!" Barrage yells and shoves the boat away, and it heads towards the mainland.
The principal, meanwhile, walks up the path to the factory.
Inside the factory, Cam happily drinks from a bottle of Green Apple Splat. "Well, at least we won't go thirsty! Aw, but man, we could starve to death!" He takes another drink.
"It's been two minutes! You'll be fine." Naruto deadpans at Cam.
"The controls have been moved! Someone did this on purpose!?" Tina at the controls saw it was messed with then glared at Lee and Naruto.
"What?" Naruto asks before pointing towards the Tree Huggers. "They're the suspicious ones."
"Uhf, don't look at us! We didn't do anything!" Suzie yells as she starts petting a frog "There. You are so safe now."
"Meltdown will commence in thirty minutes. For all those trapped inside, panic may commence immediately."
"Don't touch anything," Naruto spoke as Lee went for the controls. "We don't know if that'll make the place blow without the timer."
"Guys! Over here!"
They turned to see Lynch by the door to Wing 13. "I found a way out!" He pushes the door open, and the corridor inside howls.
"But Sam Splatman said maybe it is… The haunty!" Holger says scared just as the lights go out in the factory and the female voice speaks again.
"Powering down station to save energy for the cataclysmic explosion."
"Guys, in most disaster situations it's usually best to stay where you are and wait for rescue," Tina says as Brandy shakes her head.
"We can wait here, hoping they come get us, or we can do something. Who's with me and whats-his-name?"
"It's Lynch? I DJ-ed your party?" Lynch said offended.
"Whatever… I've got gummy bears!" Brandy says before she walks towards Wing 13.
Everybody but Lee, Naruto, and Tina files after Brandy and Lynch.
"I didn't do this!" Naruto sighed as Tina was staring at him.
Outside, the general is standing at the front doors of the factory. He rams his metal shoulder into the doors, denting them. "Hrah! Hopefully, those fools know to stay put, and wait for help!"
The general puts his shoulder down and takes another run at the doors.
Inside, the trapped students have moved into the wing. "According to Sal, and this very informative brochure, those who didn't die from the last meltdown went bat crazy from the fumes!" Lynch explained looking at the brochure
Camillio then started sniffing the air. "Smells like the prank in here!"
Lee blinks at that. "Really?"
"What happened to the crazy stinky people?" Greta asks as Lynch gasps.
"You really don't wanna know."
Lee turns around and points at the environmentalists. "You guys did this, didn't you? I saw you eyeballing that panel."
Suzie raised her hands at that. "Okay, I admit it. Maybe we sort of did touch the controls, but, we had to totally like–"
"Save the frogs!" The three said as Lee continued.
"What about the frogs during the prank? Was that you, too?" Naruto asks as the ventilation shaft above the students rumbles.
"What was that?" Greta asks as Holger gasps.
"Maybe, perhaps the ghost of insane Splat workers is happening now!"
"I'm scared! Even though, there is no scientific proof that ghosts exist."
Holger puts a hand on Greta's shoulder at that. "Holger protect you." He then leans to whisper to Cam. "Cam, protect me!"
"Quick update. No rush, but it is twenty minutes till meltdown. Just saying." The computer speaks over the speakers.
The floor rumbles again. Unbeknownst to the students, The rumbling is being caused by Barrage, who with one final shoulder runs at the doors and manages to knock them down. He runs over to the factory floor, heaves the door open, and runs in to try and find his lost students. Not seeing them in the room, he scans the floor and picks up traces of recent activity leading toward Wing 13.
Before he can go after them, however, a vat collapses on top of him. The general punches his way through the vat and struggles to breathe in the newly thick, apple-scented air. "Where. Did. They. Go?!"
The principal tries to walk toward Wing 13, but his cyborg foot freezes up, making him limp instead of walk.
The students, meanwhile, are walking through Wing 13. Suddenly, Holger hears a hissing. He whimpers in fright.
"Wait. It's that logo again!" Lee says getting Naruto to see the green M.W.F logo on the back of the brochure.
"Core meltdown in nineteen minutes."
"Least we know when we'll explode." Cam sighs at the announcement
"Whatevs, it's better than staying in one place and crying about it." Brandy waved her hand as Tina glared.
"Are you naturally horrible, or do you work really hard at it?"
"Lee, tell her not to talk to me."
Lee pinches the bridge of his nose at that. "Okay, both of you, stop. You can have a battle royal when we're out of the–"
(Growl!)
Suddenly, a growl is heard before a shadow is spotted lurking around a corner.
"Ghost monster! Holger say bye. Bye!" Holger makes a break for it and is joined by everyone else.
Soon, the shadow rounds the corner, revealing its Barrage. The students, meanwhile, come to a dead end and skid to a halt. "Shit!" Naruto cursed as Brandy sighed.
"I told you we should've waited."
Tina blinks at that. "I said that! You wanted to go!"
"Here, wait!"
They turn to see Lynch was by a sewer cover and had the cover open. "Looky-loo at this!"
"How did you know that was there?" Naruto asked as he walked over.
"It says in the brochure that they get their water from this spring."
Camillio peered in seeing the rusty ladder "Yeah, but that ladder really doesn't look safe."
"Core explosion in eighteen minutes."
Lee and Lynch look away from the pipe during the announcement. When they look back, Cam is on the ladder. "What, I never said unsafe was bad."
Cam begins descending the ladder. He is followed by Tina and Suzie. Suzie's weight begins to pull the ladder away from the wall of the manhole.
"Take turns, it's too fragile! Spread out the weight!" N Naruto yelled as the sound of Barrage howling is heard, and his silhouette peers down the hallway. This provokes a run on the manhole, and everybody descends except for Lee, Naruto, and Lynch.
"This is probably bad timing, but I think that big prankarino you did on the first day of school was pretty darn cool," Lynch says to the two as he enters the manhole.
"Yeah. Worst timing ever. But thanks." Lee enters the manhole after Lynch.
Naruto saw they all started to get too close together. The ladder breaks, and the students take a tumble. The group lands in a bunch of dirty water. They surface and gasp for air. Naruto then jumps down and puts his hands and feet against the tunnel and slides down before dropping at the bottom to land in the water and then get out.
"Great, now we're really stuck." Tina sighs seeing the bars on each of the tunnels around them.
"How do you think the frogs feel?" Suzie speaks as Lee looks around.
"We need a way out. Look around."
"Hey! Check this out!" They look to see Lynch standing by a door. "A door!"
"Weird lock. Anyone got a weird key?" Cam asks seeing the lock was the same shape as the thing that was in Lee's bag with holes around it
"Weird key?" Lee asks as he walks towards them.
"Uch. My shoes are ruined and now my hair is starting to frizz, could this get any worse?" Brandy asked annoyed before hearing the computer.
"Just a reminder guys: meltdown in sixteen minutes."
"Gyah, thanks!"
"Anytime." The computer replied to Brandy.
At the top of the manhole, Barrage looks down. He fires a grappling hook from his robot hand at the ceiling and then jumps into the sewer.
"Hey, Ping?"
Lee hiding the octagonal object from before behind his back turns to Suzie. "Yeah, what?"
"The frog thing? During the big prank? Well since we're doomed and stuff, I think I want like a clean conscience–"
"Lemme guess. It was you?" Lee asks surprising the girl.
"Yeah! But it wasn't on purpose! We thought since, everyone was busy in assembly, it was the perfect time to free them! But they got away from us, so, eh..."
Lee nods at that. "And since they blamed me you figured I'd get blamed here too? Look, I'm busy trying to get us outta your mess, so if you don't mind–"
(Hiss!)
"Whoa! You guys see that?"
Cam asked pointing at a pair of lizard-like figures that were slithering up through the manhole. While everyone is distracted, Lee pops out the legs on his object and inserts it into the keyhole. The object fits perfectly, and the door unlocks and squeaks open.
"Say, how didja do that?" Lynch asked as he turned to see the door was open.
Lee hides the key before replying. "Uh, it was, jammed or something."
"Oh, we're saved!"
"Holger not want to interrupt love fest, but–" Holger points at the manhole as a rattling is heard inside.
In the manhole, Barrage is slowly descending towards the students until a blue Tazelwurm that also has most of its body mechanical sticks its jaws out and bites through the metal rope coming out of his hand. "WAAAAAAA!" Barrage lands in the dirty water having his circuits short out. "OH EH BLEH GEH BLAH!"
"Fourteen minutes till meltdown. And you won't like me when I melt down."
Every student runs through the open door except for Lee.
Lee stops as he and Naruto walk to Barrage. "Guys, we can't leave Barrage here!" He walks into the muck to pick up the principal, and the rest of the group follows. Cam and Holger bring a discarded wheelchair lying in the muck. "C'mon everyone, grab a piece of him!"
The group grabs the principal and manages to set him in the wheelchair just as the siren comes on again.
"Thirteen minutes till meltdown. If you're not out of here by now, you may not be trying hard enough." The computer speaks again.
"SHUT UP!"
The group runs through the open door, and after they pass, two blue Tazelwurms descend and begin giving chase. The group enters a smooth, metallic tunnel.
"These tunnels. They're like the ones under the school." Lee says as Naruto looks over.
"What?"
Suddenly, two pairs of blue eyes appear in the darkness ahead and the group skids to a stop. Out of the darkness come two Tazelwurms. "Tazelwurms, what?"
Tina opens her mouth to scream but hears a different girlish scream. She turns to see Holges screaming. "AAAAAAAAAAAA-HAHUH!"
One of the Tazelwurms leaps at Tina who runs. "Tina! No!"
Naruto runs to help but the other Tazelwurm leaps on him, pinning him to the ground. Naruto's eyes narrow, and he kicks the Tazelwurm off. He then runs over to Tina and shoves her out of the way of the attacking Tazelwurm. The Tazelwurm is unable to adjust the direction of its leap in midair, and it smacks into the wall, knocking itself out of commission. "Wow. Thanks."
One of the Tazelwurms runs forward to attack. To try and fend it off Cam throws a can of Green Apple Splat at it. The Tazelwurm catches the can in its jaws and crushes it. The other Tazelwurm uses its prehensile tail to snatch Lynch up and drag him away. "Ahh! Please help me! WAAHO!"
Lee grabs a torch that emits blue flames off of the wall and approaches the Tazelwurm holding Lynch. He thrusts the torch at the Tazelwurm, and the creature releases Lynch and runs off. The other Tazelwurm approaches and the first one comes back. The two Tazelwurms circle Lee and Lynch. Suddenly, one of them is grabbed by Barrage and hoisted into the air.
The other Tazelwurm leaps at Barrage, who catches it with his other hand. He holds both animals at arm's length as he looks at the boys before speaking in a garbled voice. "Go. Get moving."
Outside, the students come out near the dock in the city as the factory suffers a massive explosion, visible from the boat. "Precious ultraviolet!"
"Aw, finally, I almost lost my tan down here!"
Camillio smiles at the sun. "Check it out, we totally made it off the island, yo!"
The group follows the direction of Cam's pointing finger. It seems that the tunnel the group was in went underwater and reached the mainland. A metal hand reaches out of the manhole and pulls the principal onto the dock before he walks over to Lee and Naruto. "You… Got everyone out?"
"Never leave a soldier behind," Naruto spoke having Barrage nod.
"Hmm. You done good, private. But it don't mean I'm cutting you any slack! All I wanna know is, WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS!"
The group points at the guilty environmentalists.
Lee's House 10:02 PM
"I stink so bad."
Lee said to the others on video chat.
"Papa make me hot bath with tomato juice and the oregano von stinkings! Delicious Holger soup!" Holger smiles before Camillio speaks.
"Oh, yo, I feel like, really sick, man. Way too much Green Apple Splat! I don't even think I like it anymore!" He then barfs offscreen.
"I'm giving it up too," Naruto says from his screen.
"Later dudes," Lee says as he turns off his computer. 'So I found out who did the frog part of the prank. But they weren't part of the big conspiracy.' Lee then walks to his bulletin board and glances at the key. 'But I did find out this is definitely a key, and I'm pretty sure the Tazelwurm gave it to me. Hmm.' He then opens it before continuing. 'What other secrets does this key hold?'
