Chapter 29: Making the Flight

Inside the classroom, Hotaru and her two friends Ashley and Darnel were in, everyone's eyes were on Hotaru. Hotaru was becoming more of a heroine each day that passed. Just seconds ago both Ashley and Darnel had been explaining what they had found out with the device they had when Hotaru just spoke out their next course of action. Both Ashley and Darnel were excited for a trip to New York, big problem was, how would they get there. Ashley couldn't help but not ask in excitement "You aren't kidding are you Hotaru? We are going to New York?!"

"I'm serious Ashley" Hotaru answered "If meeting Tony Stark is the key in freeing everyone trapped in the device Darnel is holding, we need to go there immediately."

"She's right" Darnel admitted "I mean we could try to go to Miss Abbey at NCIS, but they have a lot more important things to worry about than helping us out."

"Plus what if she's not successful" Hotaru added on "We'll be dooming the class to an enternal trip to Cyber Space. It's a fate I'd rather not wish on anyone."

"True there" Ashley admitted.

Hotaru looked at her girlfriend and saw how excited she was "As much as I'd like to sight see New York when we get there, we are on a mission to save the whole school that's trapped in that device. Saving everyone trapped inside it is our priority."

Ashley sighed "Oh, I wish we could sight see a bit, but you are right. We are going on a heroes mission and must save our classmates and entire school that are trapped inside the device."

"Which may take a while to accomplish anyway" Darnel admitted "I say may because while Tony Stark maybe the one to help us, depending on what else happens in New York, it may take a bit longer."

"True there" Hotaru admitted, she had remembered Jake Long her cousin warning her that New York City was filled with criminals and even super villains so it was possible that while Tony maybe their key to saving everyone, there was a chance that these criminals or super villains would interrupt his work.

There was a knock at the door and at Hotaru's look, Darnel hid the device in his backpack then exited out the computer quickly, no sense in whoever was out there giving away their plans to save everyone as Ashley asked in a panicked voice as if to give whoever was out there the info that people were inside the room "W-W-W-Whose there?!"

"It's the police!" was the response before the door was opened.

True to their word it was the police, two officers to be exact. The two police officers enter the room seeing the three students. One of them commented "Thank goodness not everyone in this school is missing! Were you three inside this building when everyone disappeared?"

"We were just entering officer" Hotaru answered "We saw this strange light and only had a moment to react. We managed to get out of the light range and we entered the school again, but there was no body else around."

The second officer shook his head wondering what was going on "We managed to catch those who were responsible,one was dead, two were sleeping and the other was unconscious...What bothers me is that well one is from A.I.M and they are from New York City mostly, so why were they doing here?"

Hotaru gave out a shrug "Got me officer."

Then the police chief arrived on scene "Did you two find anyone?"

"We have" the first officer reported "Three students. They are safe and sound sir."

"They seem to be the only ones here though" the second officer reported "What are we to do with them? Without teachers or staff, students here can't learn."

"There's only one thing we can do" Police cheif answered looking in the room "Send them home or wherever their parents are.

"Yes sir!" the two police officers said

With this order, Hotaru with her two friends found themselves being escorted out the school into police cars to

With the three students are their side the two police officers left the school to drive the trio to NCIS. Unaware that Miror B's subordinates had also snuck into the building for spying duties. They had witnessed the whole thing with Folly whispering "We should report back to Miror B and Erdos."

His partner shivered "For once you're right and I hate to admit it. Oh Erdos is going to have our heads hearing his brother is out of commission."

Folly shared his partner's sympathy "True, but we were sent to spy on them, but we have to go back before those officers decide to arrest us for trespassing."

The two boys left without being spotted by the many police officers still searching for any other students, teachers or staff that weren't in the school.

*Intro- Latias's voice- Three years ago, my brother Latios and I made our escape from Cipher taking the Rototrix with us. For three years we had avoided being captured and turned into Shadow Pokemon as well as keeping the Rototrix safe from Cipher whom were making plans to use it for their own evil needs. Three years later, Cipher has remerged selling Shadow Pokemon to Earth in a bid to take over the universe. Luckily my brother and I managed to save a girl in need and gave her the Rototrix a device that transforms the wielder into a Pokegirl or Pokeboy of 14 different types of Pokemon. Now she has the difficult task in not defeating Cipher but purifying all of the Shadow Pokemon. Hotaru certainly has a difficult task to do but she's the only chance two worlds have and I have a feeling, Hotarumon 14 is going to stop Cipher's plans once and for all.

Ashley, Darnel and Hotaru were safely taken to their homes. Since Ashley didn't have parents the moment she got home she started to pack for her trip to New York. She also went to work on her computer to help Hotaru and Darnel out more such as getting a plane ticket and finding a hotel room well two, one for her and Hotaru and the other for Darnel. She was doing this because she had to do her part seeing as both Darnel and Hotaru needed permission. Once she got the call from both Darnel and Hotaru that they had been given permission to go to New York, Ashley was going to be ready.

"Oh Ashley, you and Hotaru will be together at night..." Ashley told herself "I look forward to that!"

When Hotaru got home, neither of her parents were expecting their daughter to be home so early. Both of Hotaru's parents thought their daughter was trying to skip classes, but one look at Hotaru's eyes told them everything they wanted to know, she wasn't trying to skip classes. It seemed as if fate were twisting itself causing things to happen. Hotaru explained to both her parents what had happened to her school.

"A.I.M down here?" Hotaru's mother asked concerned turning to her husband "Why?"

"From what Hotaru tells us dear" Hotaru's father Kenshin answered "It was to test their invention on a different school which was Hotaru's."

Hotaru nodded "Darnel still has that device that I had them study or try to figure stuff out on. The main point though mom and dad is...It's essential that I go to New York City."

"NO, YOUNG LADY!" Hotaru's mother said "THAT'S TOO DANGEROUS!"

Hotaru's father closed his eyes then spoke eventually going to overrule his wife "Dear...Everything our little girl Hotaru has done so far is dangerous. Her work as a heroine is one full over danger."

"I'M WELL AWARE OF THAT! AND I SUPPORT HER IN HER FIGHT AGAINST CIPHER, BUT HERE IN MANANAS WHERE WE CAN AT LEAST BURY HER BODY IF SHE DIES ONE DAY!" Hotaru's mother starts crying "AS OPPOSED TO IT IF SHE DIES IN NEW YORK...THERE'S LITTLE DOUBT IN MY MIND THAT SUPER VILLIANS WON'T SEND HER BODY BACK!"

"I've already taken on super villains" Hotaru told her mother "They weren't scary, at least not compared to Queen Venomica! That Naga Succubus Queen wants to devour me mom!"

Hotaru's father smiled at his daughter now overruling his wife "As long as you stay on your objective to save the entire school, you may go."

"DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME HONEY?" Hotaru's mother demanded "IF SHE DIES IN NEW YORK-"

"She has Jake and his family" Hotaru's father reminded her.

Hotaru's mother blinked "Oh...Oh but aren't you worried she may not return alive?"

"I am" Hotaru's father answered "But I'm looking at it this way, her life right now dear is full of danger. She could die from Cipher at any time if she lowers her guard. She needs to do this dear, otherwise her class is always going to be in that device. Our daughter knows the danger she's getting into anyway...Isn't that right Hotaru?"

Hotaru nodded her head "Yes, daddy." she then addressed her mother "I wouldn't be asking this under normal circumstances mother, but saving my entire school is what I need to do. Please. Have faith in me. I'll return alive."

Hotaru's mother's eyes were still filled with tears but she saw her daughter's confidence and determination and knows when she lost the debate. Deep inside herself she knew her husband Kenshin and even her daughter were right. Hotaru needed to do this. There was no denying that "Well if you understand the danger then. You may go."

"Yes!" Hotaru shouts.

"But not alone!" both parents warned her.

"I'm one step ahead of you two" Hotaru told them "I'm taking Ashley and Darnel along, once they get permission. Well at least I know Ashley will come."

Kenshin frowned as Hotaru's mother asked "Why do you know Ashley will come?"

Kenshin answered for Hotaru "Ashley's parents are dead. Ashley is the only one home."

"Oh" Hotaru's mother said sadly "I feel for her."

Hotaru's father turned to Hotaru "Alright then. Pack up sweetie."

Hotaru dashes off to do so and she texted Ashley saying she got permission. Watching their daughter leave Hotaru's mother dried her tears off with a tissue "Why did fate decide to make our daughter a super hero?"

Kenshin answered "Sometimes fate or destiny is determined that way dear."

"Sure she maybe going with Ashley and Darnel" Hotaru's mother said "But she's still going without an adult being with her."

Kenshin shared where she was getting at "True, but let's have faith in our little girl. Neither of us will be able to watch over her but I will be driving her and her friends to the airport."

"Not without me!" Hotaru's mother said "I want to see our daughter off!"

"Alright then it's decided" Kenshin said.

At Cipher's base, Folly and his partner had returned. Upon their return, the two explain to both Miror B and Erdos of what they had witnessed and learned. As they expected Erdos was completely angry. For once not at Hotaru, she wasn't to blame. This A.I.M was to blame. Erdos slammed his fist on the table "Are you two fools certain what you're telling me is the truth?"

"On our honor sir!" Folly responded "That Controller guy really took Ardos by surprise. A.I.M somehow knows about us."

Queen Venomica hadn't returned ever sense Hotaru had broken her fangs but Erdos didn't exactly need her help for plans. All his mind set was on was revenge, revenge on A.I.M for what they did to his brother "And yet unknowingly Hotarumon 14 once again saved the day did she not?"

"Of course she did" Folly answered "She didn't even flinch when she was being attacked by the combined efforts of this Whiplash person, Killer Strike person and this Unicorn person."

"And yet she still has that device right?"

"Well her black friend Darnel has it" the second boy answered.

"And she's heading to New York City to free everyone trapped inside it!" Folly quickly added on.

"Is she now?" Erdos said smirking rubbing his chin thoughtfully "Well that gives me an idea. Were you boys able to get an answer of what that device was supposed to do?"
"Trap everyone caught in it in Cyber Space, and each person had a Controller Chip so that they could be controlled...Why boss?"
Erdos had the answer ready "In a way I suppose I should be grateful to Hotarumon 14 for saving my brother from being controlled by A.I.M"

Miror B slightly agreed "We should boss, but something tells me you aren't fully grateful."

"You'd be right Miror B" Erdos said "I'm glad she stopped A.I.M from being able to control my brother, but at the same time she is our enemy."

"What is our next move?" Miror B asked.

"Revenge" Erdos answered "Revenge on A.I.M in the end and I know the Shadow Pokemon to send."

Miror B had a feeling he knew "Oh? You're going to use it?"

Erdos nodded "This isn't the first time a villain interfered in Cipher's plans. Remember Count Drakkun and Shego?"

"How can I forget, even Queen Venomica called them lame" Miror B admitted.

"Then you recall how Count Drakkun stole five Shadow Pokemon from us?"

"Indeed I do."

"And now A.I.M decides to try test and experiment involving Hotarumon 14's school even when knowing my brother was playing the heroine" Erdos finished.

"Indeed that is what they appeared to have done" Miror B admitted.

"Then it's full fitting that we wipe out A.I,M's headquarters" Erdos said "As well as wipe them out completely. This is war. It's only fitting we use that Shadow Pokemon to do the deed."

"Yet Hotarumon 14 will be there" Miror B reminded.

"Then we have to ether make her miss her flight, to delay her or we can kill her as well!" Erdos said.

Miror B smirked "I trust you have a plan?"

"I do" Erdos said "I'm sending you to deal with Hotarumon 14. You must do all you can to delay Hotaru even if it means losing a Shadow Pokemon."

Miror B had agreed with the plan at least the beginning "Of course, I'm always willing to deal with that girl!" then it hit him about the Shadow Pokemon being lost "You're willing to let me lose the Shadow Pokemon you give me?"

"Yes"

"That's very odd of you to accept a loss like that from her."

"All is going to go according to plan" Erdos said "I want her to think she's won against us. That way she's going to miss out the actual plan coming from Cipher. The total elimination of A.I.M. I'll be taking Cipher forces to lie waiting in ambush."

"What about Queen Venomica? Wouldn't she be of help?"

"She'd normally be" Erdos admitted "But she's still recovering from broken fangs. But I will be informing her of the plan and she'll lend her subjects to help."

He gets up, walks over to a machine which hands him a dark colored ball and handed it over to Miror B "Remember Miror B, your objective is to ether delay Hotarumon 14 from getting onto her flight therefor missing it if it's possible downright kill her, but if neither is possible as she may beat you it'll be okay as it's going according to plan on what our true objective is."

"Of course" Miror B said "I'll get onto it right away!"

"Good, in addition to your subordinates I'll give you about one fourth of our forces, the rest are coming with me" Erdos said walking away to prepare for the battle with A.I.M ahead.

Miror B turned to his subordinates "Well fellas, looks like we've got business to do."

"YES SIR!"

As Erdos and Miror B split apart to go after their objectives. With the only thing on Erdos's mind was gaining deadly revenge on A.I.M.

Hotaru had finished packing when she got a text from Darnel saying that while his parents had refused to let him go with her and Ashley to New York, a call from Hotaru's father made them decide to let him go. Deep inside Hotaru was relieved that all her friends were going to join her on her quest. Sure she might be able to convince her cousin Jake Long to join in on her search to find Tony Stark, but she didn't want to be a bother as Jake probably had his ninjas he had to take out and other heroic work. Just the three of them working together was going to be enough. After packing with her mother helping her decide what clothes to wear in New York, Hotaru was in her family's car and it was now onto her friends. The first stop was Ashley's house and the blond was waiting for Hotaru's family to pick her up.

Hotaru briefly got out of the car and hugged Ashley. Ashley hugged her back and gave her a kiss to the cheek "I'm so glad we're actually going to go!"

"Me too" Hotaru admitted.

"So" Ashley said as she got in the car "Is Darnel coming? His parents can be strict when it comes to his schooling."

"They were against it at first" Hotaru admitted looking at her father "But daddy somehow convinced them to let him come with us."

"You're welcome sweetie and Ashley" Hotaru's father said "Although I'm sure I'm going to owe Tony for helping me."

"Agent DiNozzo!" Hotaru said "You asked him for help daddy?"

"I did" Hotaru's father said "Darnel's parents are friends with him so, I asked Tony if he could help and well together me and him were able to convince them without revealing your secret sweetie. They were just concerned for his safety like your mother was to you when you asked."

"I see" Hotaru said "Wonder what your I owe you to Tony will be?"

"Me too" Kenshin admitted "And that has me slightly worried. Mcgee on my first day on the job told me never make I Owe you agreements with Tony."

"Why?" Hotaru's mother inquired "He doesn't seem to be a man that will betray you."

"It's not the betrayal" Kenshin said "It's that he won't let you forget that you still owe him. That and he never seems to tell you what he wants in return so a I owe you agreement with him can last for months or even years to resolve."

"Oh" Hotaru's mother said.

Hotaru relaxes in the back seat as her father drove the car to Darnel's house where Darnel was waiting. Once Hotaru's car arrived Darnel said his goodbyes to his parents and he too was in the back seat of the car. Kenshin focused on driving the car with Ashley explaining what she had done for them "While you and Darnel were getting permission, I was focusing on getting tickets for the flight and a Hotel."

"Good" Kenshin said "Hopefully you got two hotel rooms one for you and Hotaru and one for Darnel."

"That I have" Ashley admitted she turned to Darnel "No offense, but we are girls and your a boy so..."

"Say no more!" Darnel said "I know where that is going, just hope you girls are close by so that we can help each other."

"We will be" Ashley said "I saw to it. Our rooms are literally right besides the hall of each other."

"Good" Hotaru admitted.

Hotaru's father concentrated on driving the car looking at the flight information Ashley gained for the three. Miror B was watching from afar smirking "And so it begins."

While Hotaru's father was driving, Hotaru saw three cars coming their way. Normally she would have figured out that this was just a coincidence but once she saw whom was riding on them she became alarmed. Kenshin also noticed this "Great...Hotaru sweetie, I hate to say this but."

"I already have a feeling I know what is going on...Cipher!" Hotaru said.

"Oh great!" Hotaru's mother shouts in alarm "They are going to try to stop us!"

"Or delay us" Kenshin muttered as the Cipher soldiers

Hotaru opened the window with Hotaru's mother turning towards her "Careful sweetie."

"Oh I am" Hotaru said "I must do what I can to stop them."

"This is reckless!" Ashley warned "And dangerous."

"I know" Hotaru answered "But if I don't fight them, Cipher might accomplish it's tasks."

"Just try to stick with the car sweetie" Kenshin advised.

"Good idea!" Hotaru said reaching for her Rototrix, she checked the Pokemon knowing she needed to stay on the car, something that had a sticky grip "Here we go, a new form."

She selected the Pokemon and slapped it down, white light filled the air and Hotaru became briefly naked on Ashley's legs as the transformation began.

After the bright flash of white light appeared, Hotaru felt herself growing a bit fat, while gaining purple skin which was nearly all blob like. She also gained black diamonds were spread around her stomach and it became a paturn spreading evenly around that area of the body. Her eyes became pink and she grew yellow whiskers but hers were shorter and when her transformation ended Hotaru was "Swalot!"

Ashley blushes seeing her girlfriend's new form and she could feel Hotaru's short feet touching her legs which felt slimy "Gross Hotaru! What have you turned into?"

Hotaru shrugged "Not sure." she then felt herself feeling what Ashley had felt "I feel as if I'm a huge blob of fat."

Ashley blushed holding up a mirror "Uh, Hotaru...You sort of not wrong."

Hotaru took one look at herself and screamed "I'm not only a blob of fat but a hidious one! Why would Professor Kamiko include such a transformation in the Rototrix?"

Darnel looks at Hotaru "It's your Poison Type form."

Hearing poison Ashley screamed "HOTARU! I LIKE YOU AND ALL BUT CAN YOU GET OFF ME? I DON'T WANT TO BE POISONED?!"

Hotaru nodded trying to exit out the opened window but due to her fat form she got caught and her butt was halfway inside the car as Hotaru tried to get out of it "Out of all the days I decide to try the Poison Type form out...It will be this day...Uh Darnel and daddy, no looking at me! Ashley a little help!"

Darnel looked out at the left with Kenshin not trying to look at his daughter's naked butt and womanhood area just concentrating on driving. Ashley felt a bit of pity for Hotaru and thanks to her help she pushes her girlfriend out the window. Hotaru used her gymnastic skills to hurl herself onto the roof of her car as she turned seeing Cipher advance "Alright then, Cipher time to see what you can do!"

Hotaru watches as the Cipher soldiers start taking aim at her and start firing. Hotaru took a deep breathe thinking Okay, what can I do as Swalot? Honestly I feel sort of betrayed that I'm this fat but...Then again...Maybe that's an advantage!

She looks through the list of attacks she had through her Rototrix and found the move Stockpile. She decides to use it yawning while using Stockpile to increase her defense and special defense. While yawning she not only used Stockpile but she swallowed the bullets without injury and her poisonous body somehow disolved the bullets without question.

Hotaru notices this "I can swallow bullets in this form? I can't believe I'm saying this but...Maybe I was wrong about being a hideous blob of fat."

She gasps smirking "My turn fellas!"

She then unleashed a massive Sludge Wave at the cars that was coming at them. As expected of the attack it hits the cars but had no effect on them except for the one thing she wanted, it slowed the cars down as the massive wave was too much for the tires of the cars to drive over, the moment the tires met the Sludge Wave it was as if the cars met a massive land slide or wave of water. Hotaru smirked as she addressed her Rototrix "Prepare to allow me to unleash Flamethrower!"

The Rototrix replied with "Error!, error! Does not compute, Swalot can't learn Flamethrower or any Fire Move except Sunny Day. I repeat does not compute, it's nearly impossible for Swalot to use Flamethrower!"

Hotaru just smirked "Well now first of all I'm not a normal Swalot, I'm a human girl as a Swalot now allow it."

"I repeat does not compute, can't help to unleash Flamethrower does not compute. Even if you are a human Swalot can't learn it."

Hotaru smirked once more "Then I'm about to surprise you! This is a little something Jake's grandfather taught me, how to do!"

She focuses in her abilities, and sure enough to everyone watching she starts unleashing her Flamethrower attack at the sludge. A few seconds passed as the flamethrower attack met the Sludge that was trapping the cars and then KABOOM! There was a massive explosion as the fire caused the sludge to explode like a bomb this sent the cars to explode like a bomb setting their riders and drivers a blaze their screams of sheer panic and pain echoed.

Inside the car, Ashley and Darnel blinked with confusion with Ashley saying to Darnel "Uh...Darnel...Hotaru's form is Swalot right?"

"Indeed" Darnel said "And they are unable to learn or use Flamethrower so how did she manage to pull that stunt off?"

Ashley shrugged "Why do you think I was asking you! You are nearly the Pokemon expert of the group!"

"Well, sorry Ashley!" Darnel apologized "I'm legitimately just as puzzled as you!"

"We'll have to ask her once she gets back inside" Ashley suggested.

On the roof even the Rototrix was having a hard time believing what Hotaru had just done "Impossible! Swalot is incapable of learning Flamethrower, so how did you do it?"

Hotaru smirked "Told you I'm not a normal Swalot. Sure I've choosed Swalot for this, but I'm thinking creatively. Plus, I've taken Jake's grandfather Luong Lao Shi's lesson to heart. Sure Swalot isn't a dragon but I was able to mix in some of his teachings that he'd teach Jake Long, that and if I can swallow anything, I should be able to unleash Flamethrower."

"Don't completely understand, but I'll let it slide...Watch out the sides of us!"

Hotaru turned her head seeing two more vechiles, this time they were trucks with Cipher soldiers on them. Hotaru smirked looking at them "Oh well, look at you all!"

She saw the soldiers take aim at her then took aim at one of the soldiers and using Bullet Seed spat out several seeds as if she were a machine gun at one of the Cipher Soldiers on the truck the one that was to the right. The seeds hit the man in his head with enough to force him off the truck and into a huge cliff. His last words was a bone chilling scream as he plummeted to his death.

Hotaru briefly stopped but felt the truck slam into the car her family and friends were in trying to force them off the road and off the cliff. Luckily Hotaru's father had the skills to keep the vechile on the road, and Hotaru thanks to her fat and blob like body stayed on the car's roof. The Cipher Soldier watched her taking aim with his machine gun and he fired it at her. The gun rapidly fired at her but Hotaru turned opening her mouth and swallowing the bullets without injury "How about that?" she taunted her opponent "I can swallow your bullets...But here are mine!"

Before he could reload his machine gun Hotaru unleashed another round of Bullet Seed right at the soldier's head. The bullets connected and threw him off the truck and right onto another passing car on the opposite lane. Hotaru watches as she jumped right onto the truck the second soldier was on moments ago and unleashed Shockwave on it. The electric attack coursed right in the vehicle shocking the driver, and the other passenger as well as cause the truck to lose control briefly backing away. Hotaru leaped onto her family's car and then jumped onto the other truck unleashing another Shockwave getting the same results as the one to her left. She then jumped back onto her car once more watching as the Shockwave trucks then explode like a bomb.

"Not bad missy" Miror B complimented causing Hotaru to turn seeing him on a helicopter "Taking out my ambush."

"You again" Hotaru sighed "Where's Erdos? Too chicken to face me?"

"Not really" Miror B said "But now" He held up the dark shadow ball and throws it "Time to face off against this!"

Out of the ball came a yellow bipedal feline creature and Hotaru somehow figured out this one was female just like her!

"Great..." Hotaru muttered "A Shadow Pokemon"

"That's Zeraora!The Thunderclap Pokemon!" The Rototrix announced "It runs as fast as lightning strikes, shredding its opponents with its high-voltage claws!"

"That doesn't sound good" Hotaru muttered.

"Shadow Zeraora" Miror B shouts "Stop that car and take out Hotarumon 14! Hit her with Plasma Fists!"

Shadow Zeraora heard and started gathering in an electric attack in her body Hotaru saw it coming and used another Stockpile tanking the Plasma Fists shocking her. She grits her teeth screaming in pain but she managed to use her whole body to absorb the electric attack for her family and friends not going to let any chance of her family and friends experiencing an exploding car.

"Now's your chance, Fury Swipes!" Miror B commanded.

Shadow Zeraora once more attacks Hotaru swiping with her claws each claw swipes were filled with electric energy causing Hotaru to cringe being shocked until all five Fury Swipes were done.

"How was Fury Swipes an Electric type attack?" Hotaru asked.

The Rotorix answered "Plasma Fists changes any Normal Type Moves into Electric Type ones!"

"Don't let up" Miror B shouts "Destroy her! Fire Punch!"

Shadow Zeraora's fists start gathering flames and Hotaru growls "Nope!"

She opened her mouth and caught the Fire Punch in her mouth as she swallowed the Fire Punch and just like the bullets she was able to swallow the attack without damage and she slapped her mouth shut on Zeraora's arms. The Shadow Pokemon noticed her wrists trapped in Hotaru's mouth and starts panicking as if it thought Hotaru was going to devour her, but Hotaru had other plans "You aren't going to use any more shocking moves with your fists, my turn!"

She then wrapped her arms around the Shadow Pokemon and then unleashed a Flamethrower at point blank range. Shadow Zeraora let out a massive "ZERAORA!" cries of surprise and pain not expecting a fire attack like that coming from a Swalot. Her wrists were burned badly as was her shoulders and chest. Despite this Shadow Zeraora still attempted to remove her wrists from Hotaru's mouth which clamped tightly around them as Hotaru refused to open her mouth to let her opponent freed. Sure she didn't take much damage from the Plasma Fists or Fury Swipes despite having her face having three bleeding marks where the claws of Zeraora had sliced her on the fifth Fury Swipe that connected to Hotaru's body most likely thanks to her using Stockpile twice.

Miror B frowned watching this, this fight had turned in Hotaru's favor and her knew it. He was searching for a way to help Shadow Zeraora free herself, he could try to have her unleash a Discharge which might cause Hotaru's family car to short circuit and stop there for delaying Hotaru from getting to the airport on time therefor missing the flight. He had an idea smirking while muttering "Hold on Zeraora, hold on keep on trying to free yourself."

He then threw his Pokeball "Ludiculo! Come on out!"

"Ludiculo!" Ludiculo announced as it appeared in front of Hotaru's family car forcing her father to hit the breaks almost throwing Hotaru off the roof, luckily for Hotaru her huge fat blob like body was able to stick onto the roof like glue but it almost failed her, had she not dug in her toes there was a slight chance she would've been thrown off the car.

Miror B smirked "Hydro Pump now Ludicolo!"

Ludiculo heard and obeyed gathering in water in it's mouth. Hotaru took a deep breathe watching the water move coming at her. She wasn't the only one that heard the order and attack coming closer towards her but Shadow Zeraora attempted to free herself but failed and instead of Hotaru getting hit by the attack it strikes the Shadow Zeraora with so much force that she ends up completely in Hotaru's mouth. Hotaru blushes red now having a full Shadow Pokemon in her mouth trapped tight in it. She could see it's feet barely sticking out of her mouth! She could see the feet trying to kick freely which made Hotaru want to spit the Shadow Pokemon out. Sadly, with her mouth full of water at the same time from the Hydro Pump, she couldn't spit Shadow Zeraora out and was forced to swallow, then regrettably with tears in her eyes. GULP! Hotaru swallowed both Shadow Zeraora and the water.

Miror B saw his mistake not believing he just saw Hotaru just eat Shadow Zeraora "Maybe using Hydro Pump to take her by surprise wasn't a good idea. She just ate Shadow Zeraora!"

Hotaru blushed red not only in embarrassment that she actually ate a living breathing creature, but angry that Miror B tried to help Zeraora out of the predictament only to make it much worse swallowing a whole Pokemon alive wasn't what she had intended to do. She was quite angry at Miror B for what he had just done, sure he meant to help Shadow Zeraora out What was worse, Hotaru could feel Shadow Zeraora trying to break free of the stomach prison. She felt the kicks and punches of the one she swallowed then out of sheer panic Shadow Zeraora unleashed a Discharge inside Hotaru's stomach but Hotaru was unphased by it, in fact she didn't even feel it. Hotaru glared at Miror B's Ludiculo then unleashed a Gunk Shot at it in her anger. The Poison Type Move connects to the Ludiculo's head causing it to buckle backwards heavily damaged.

Hotaru then heard Zeraora's voice from inside the stomach as she called out "P-P-P-please miss Swalot, don't digest me!"

From the sound of it somehow the darkness that had consumed the Shadow Zeroara had vanished with Hotaru blinking as she communicated with the one she had swallowed "You can speak? And you aren't a Shadow Pokemon?"

"I can speak human, I learned it from Latias and her brother Latios when they somehow become humans temporarily. Cipher did turn me turn me into a Shadow Pokemon" Shadow Zeraora said "But they hadn't completely succeeded as I had been fighting against the process but failed repeatably to stop it from reaching and plaguing my heart in darkness at times! Please spit me out and I'll help you out and...Allow you to purify me! I don't want to be digested!"

"Okay" Hotaru admitted "How do I do that?"

Shadow Zeraora answered in a pleading voice as Hotaru's stomach acid rose towards her almost going to digest her soon and quickly "Y-Y-Y-You used Stockpile right?"

"Twice" Hotaru admitted.

"Then there are two options you can use Swallow which I'm assuming you didn't use."

"No..." Hotaru said with a massive blush on her face "I was forced to swallow you in general due to having too much water, I'm assuming that didn't count."

"It didn't!" Shadow Zeraora said "Now the other option you have is Spit Up! Sure it'll undo the defensive and Special defensive boosts you've gained but it should allow you to spit me out!"

Hotaru was slightly grossed out for the second time this day "OH THAT'S DISCUSTING AND GROSS!, SO I CAN BASICALLY USE THROW UP AS AN ATTACK! THAT'S TOTALLY GROSS AND MAKES ME LESS WANTING IN USING THIS FORM MORE IN THE FUTURE! BUT OKAY...HERE WE GO!"

Miror B now gave Ludiculo an order "Get up Ludiculo and unleash a Hydro Pump at her!"

Hotaru turned towards the Shadow Ludiculo as she built up her energy shaking her body furiously and used Spit Up just as Ludiculo unleashed a second Hydro Pump. Turns out, Hotaru's usage of Spit Up spat out a pissed off Shadow Zeraora at the Ludiculo as a high speed missile. Shadow Zeraora focused her energies as she flew right through the Hydro Pump and with both of her fists glowing she used Plasma Fists on Ludiculo, not once or twice, but up to four times. Each attack caused the Ludiculo to be in major pain then after she landed the fourth blow, she picks up the Ludiculo and growls tossing it to Miror B "I've had enough of you and Cipher!"

She then leaps towards the helicopter with Miror B gasping in surprise "No way! How is it that she's broken free temporarily?"

A Cipher soldier had a theory "Perhaps her brainwashing wasn't as secure as Erdos had hoped. This one's heart and will power was strong to begin with."

Shadow Zeraora landed on the helicopter then shouts "Take this!"

She unleashed as powerful Discharge destroying the helicopter and caused both Miror B and his crew to fly straight into the air in a massive star finish. Shadow Zeraora soon returned back to the road in front of Hotaru and her family and stood with begging eyes at Hotaru "Please...I've done my part to help...Please purify me."

"But you aren't beaten" Hotaru said "Purification works if you are beaten."

"Only because the other Shadow Pokemon were completely taken and lost into Shadows that overwhelmed the light in their hearts! If they had a strong heart and will like me then it's possible their efforts can fail at certain times...Please before the darkness consumes my heart once more as it did before and it forces me to attack you or your family!"

"Got it!" Hotaru said getting off her family's roof top she raised the Rototrix "Shadow Pokemon awaiting purification!"

"On it!"

Shadow Zeraora watched as Hotaru's Rorotrix went towards her and absorbed all of the darkness that was around her. Once it was done it announced it "Shadow Pokemon purified!"

Hotaru then returned back to normal and was taken by surprise when Zeraora walked towards her and hugged her grateful of being finally freed purring in thanks. Hotaru's father stopped the car, then with Ashley, Darnel and Hotaru's mother got out of it. All four other humans were shocked to see Zeroara hugging Hotaru gratefully.

"Thank you Hotaru" Zeraora said "Thanks for saving me."

"You know my name?" Hotaru inquired.

"Oh yes" Zeraora answered "I was friends with Latias and Latios, and like them I too was ambushed, but it wasn't until recently that I was selected as your opponent. Hotaru..."

"Yes?" Hotaru inquired.

Zeraora looked at her "I'm pleased to announce...That I'm your Pokemon."

"What?!" Hotaru asked in surprise as this was followed by Ashley, Darnel and her parents asking this.

"But how?" Darnel asked "She isn't a trainer."

Zeraora answered swiftly "Before my capture, Latias, and Latios asked me if I wouldn't mind to be your Pokemon, at that time they'd tell you I wasn't cooperating as I didn't want to be dragged into a new world that doesn't know Pokemon are real or be a total stranger's pet where we haven't met each other before. You clearly need help taking on Cipher, and I could help you fight them. Besides..." she blushes "After being nearly eaten alive by you, I feel as if I should oblige."

Hotaru blushed red at the memory of herself swallowing Zeraora alive but only due to Miror B's mistake and she watched as Zeraora bowed before her "Please, mistress...Accept me."

Hotaru looked at Zeraora in a way she was a fan of cats, she looks at her father and mother "Uh, mommy, daddy...Can I have a pet?"

Kenshin smiled remembering Jake Long's dog Fu Dog whom was mostly Jake's grandfather's dog "I see why not sweetie. If you want her, she's yours."

Hotaru's mother agreed "And if she promises to fight alongside you during Cipher attacks then you may."

"Thanks!" Hotaru said she looked at the bowing Zeraora petting her "Alright Zeraora. I'll accept you,"

Zeraora stood up hugging her "I won't fail you mistress! I'll serve you loyally!"

"Hotaru" Darnel said to her "How are you going to keep her? We have no Pokeball."

Hotaru looked at her Rototrix "Good question...But I refuse to keep her in a cage like a Pokeball. Don't get me wrong I get it that it's a way to protect Pokemon that trainers have for being stolen from trainers."

"I got the answer" Ashley said remembering a spell "I can do a flash spell, Hotaru, I need you and Zeraora to hold each other's hands."

"Got it" Hotaru said holding onto her Zeraora's hands.

Ashley then releases the spell "Pokescan!"

There was a flash of light but this one merely scanned both Hotaru and Zeraora with Ashley explaining "This spell is to ensure from now until ether of you two die, that Zeraora will forever be your Pokemon Hotaru. As a result, no other trainer can catch her and steal her away from you. She's always going to be yours now, so you need to take care of her."

"I will!" Hotaru vowed looking at her pet cuddling her and petting her then she muttered "Of course she might be stolen from me by Cipher."

"Yep" Ashley said "But even then, they can't capture her in a ball ether."

"At least not without a Snag Machine" Darnel warned.

Hotaru felt extremely happy as she looked at Zeraora, Zeraora was her Pokemon now, for the first time in her life, Hotaru now had a pet. In the past, when she had requested a pet both her mother and father said no as Hotaru was too young to have a pet as the first she asked about it she was five years old. Now she offically had one, Zeraora.

"What are you going to name her sweetie?" Hotaru's mother asked.

Hotaru was puzzled looking at Zeraora's beautiful body, her mother was right, what should she name her pet? She didn't want to just call her Zeraora now even though she was well a Zeraora "Hmm..." she then got it "I'll call her Ziva!"

Kenshin her father smiled understanding where Hotaru got the idea to name the Zeraora "Ziva hugh? Well I'm sure Ziva will be pleased to know she shares a name with a pet."

"Not only that" Hotaru said to her father "But the way she fights it reminds me of your coworker Ziva!"

She looked at Ziva "You like that name...Don't you Zeraora?"

The Zeraora blinked in confusion wondering why her mistress just inquired if she liked that name as if she had any authority to not accept the name but the Zeraora answered as she spoke the name sounding it out even "Zi-va? Zi-va? Ziva!" she then purred enjoying the name "I LIKE IT!"

Hotaru giggled and was now hugging Ziva fondly with Ashley reminding everyone "Uh-guys we got to get to the airport otherwise we miss our flight. It's in about two hours."

"Right!" Hotaru shouted in alarm turning to her father "We gotta get going!"

"Sure" Hotaru's father said as the family get into the car once again and head off.

Zeraora sat next to Hotaru in the back seat of the vechicle right next to her owner and Ashley as the car headed off. Despite Cipher's attempt to force them to miss their flight, Ashley, Darnel, Hotaru and Ziva got to the airport on time and even got onto the flight. Surprisngly they allowed Hotaru's pet to fly with them. Watching their daughter leave Kenshin and his wife watched as the plane took off.

Kenshin then spoke "It's all up to Hotaru now to save her entire school."

Hotaru's mother was overjoyed she had been skeptical that Hotaru was going to New York City with her two friends, but with their daughter's pet Ziva the Zeraora with them she felt better "It is and now I'm certain she'll come back. Ziva will make sure of it!" the mother giggled playfully at her husband taunting him even "Wonder how Ziva will react when you tell her we allowed our daughter to have a pet that she named after her."

"I'm certain that my coworker Ziva will be glad that her name was thought of" Kenshin quickly responded then he blushed red "Although, it's gonna be odd if ever our daughter teams up one-on-one with Ziva and she brings her pet Ziva with her."

"That'll be odd for sure" Hotaru's mother said as her daughter's plane flew out of sight.

Yeah, sorry for the delay everyone. Wanted to get this done yesterday afternoon, but turns out playing the Switch all day until 1 PM wasn't the greatest idea. Oh well I suppose, now Hotaru has a pet, a Zeraora named Ziva. I just decided this by the way, it wasn't orginally planned for Hotaru to keep Zeraora as a pet but when I looked at Zeraora's picture I was like, you know maybe Hotaru would benefit of having a pet to fight alongside her, just like another OC of mine, Kasumi Aki Fudo. Look into more future chapters into seeing Ziva the Zeraora in action. Plus I'd like to thank Dragon Knight 15 for giving me this idea when I read his Kamen Rider fanfic last week with Tsukasa and the Absol in that fanfic.I also would like to point out to others asking why Hotaru didn't take damage from anything she swallowed, the solution is simple, I read on Bulbapedia that anything that Swalot swallows desolves quickly, so when Hotaru swallowed the bullets from the guns and when she swallowed Ziva whom shocked her with Discharged or tried to, it had no affect on her because of that reason, she was swallowed and I was doing what I've read on Bulbapedia on Swalot. Rest assured though, Hotaru is still vulnerable to attacks on the outside of her body, just not on the inside. Plus I needed a reason to show off Hotaru's Poison Type form and while she maybe a hidious blob of fat was a Swalot in her own words but at least she has a way in actually liking the Poison Type form sure it's not a fast Pokemon but she can manage to hold her own with it. Anyway Next chapter is Chapter 30: Man of Iron P1: Hotaru, her two friends and her pet Ziva land safely in New York and begin their journey in finding Tony Stark, little do they know that he's Iron Man and Cipher begins it's revenge plan on A.I.M.
