Episode 35: Electric Showdown P1

Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon I do own Hotaru, Ashley, Darnel, and Queen Venomica.

One night after the events of the day before, Ziva, Hotaru's Zerora was speedily but stealthily roaming the hall ways of Cipher's main base. It wasn't what Hotaru would do normally, and normally she'd be following her pet as they wandered into the base. So why wasn't she with Ziva right now? Well for two reasons, one Hotaru realized that her presence would give herself away, certainly with Queen Venomica back at full strength, and the second, well she with her friends were watching over Manassas waiting for any new Shadow Pokemon attack.

As Ziva got to the building, the Zerora found an opening in the air vents and entered then noiselessly. Once in she followed it quietly and listened to the voices below belonging to Erdos and what it appeared to be a customer. The Zerora peered down seeing Erdos conversing with a customer whose image she wasn't able to get a clear view on due to where she was hiding, but she continued to listen.

"You are the second customer to ask correctly" Erdos said to him "We've had the unfortunate experience in someone stealing from us. Fair warning though while they will obey your and your follower's orders they will attack anyone that you deem as a threat with intent to kill."

"I'm well aware of the threat these creatures you are selling to us possesses and frankly I don't care! We just need some more power to take over this city, as well as giving a certain hero around these parts a run for his money or make him cower in fear of opposing us."

"How many of you are there?" Erdos inquired.

"Including myself I have at least twelve members!"

"Then we'll give you six of our Shadow Pokemon at random" Erdos said "I wish you luck in your quest."

"My thanks to you Erdos! I await the transfer! Even though it's at random give me your hardest most toughest of your Shadow creatures. I want to crush that hero and take over this city as soon as possible."

"It will be done" Erdos said "That'll be costly about five thousand dollars."

The money was received and Erdos sends twelve random Pokemon transferring them to Erdos's clients. It was then two Cipher soldiers entered the air vent detecting that there was something blocking the air. Ziva turned seeing them weapons drawn "HEY THERE! STOP!"

Ziva had heard and seen what she could. The Zerora thinks quickly and kicked the two soldiers in their heads knocking them down. She extracted her claws slashing at the right figure slashing his neck severing an artery causing him to bleed out to death then she slashed the other one knocking him down.

"Erdos...Sir!" the surviving Cipher soldier shouted but Ziva used her Plasma Fists technique driving her electrical fist into his heart killing him but not before he set off an alarm detailing the stranger.

Erdos and the shadow figure heard the alarm with the figure speaking out "It's Static!"

A third Cipher Soldier's corpse was thrown out of the air vent and Erdos took a look a the electrocuted body with the shadow figure frowning "That's not the work of Static!"

Erdos fums with anger knowing whom did this or was caught spying "That Zerora!"

He turned off the tv as he tried to intercept Ziva. By the time he got there the Zerora was gone with the much needed info claiming the lives of at least fifty Cipher soldiers in her get away.

Miror B whom had barely arrived on the scene and unable to prevent Ziva from escaping but he made his report "It was that freed Zerora boss! She looked like she learned about something."

"Our latest sale" Erdos said frowning at first then he smirked "Or perhaps...It's a good thing."

"Hugh?" Miror B inquired.

"Twelve Shadow Pokemon were sent to our latest customer" Erdos said "Whom has twelve other members of his gang all of which thanks to Queen Venomica's records at discovering them out and doing her research on them, have super powers as well. Obviously Hotarumon 14 is going to go after them."

"You aren't worried that she's going?" Miror B asked.

"Not entirely" Erdos admitted "It's like Queen Venomica says always plan ahead if possible. Use this time to properly form a new plan in secret, sure it's going to hurt losing twelve random Shadow Pokemon if she defeats them, but, at the same time properly thinking of a new plan will work as well."

Mirorr B didn't completely understand yet but he wasn't about to question it any further. Erdos turned in the direction where he could guess Ziva was heading thinking Well played Hotarumon 14 sending your pet to spy on us and discovering this plot, but I wonder how far you'll get if you go after them which let's face it...You will.

Intro- Latias's voice- Three years ago, my brother Latios and I made our escape from Cipher taking the Rototrix with us. For three years we had avoided being captured and turned into Shadow Pokemon as well as keeping the Rototrix safe from Cipher whom were making plans to use it for their own evil needs. Three years later, Cipher has remerged selling Shadow Pokemon to Earth in a bid to take over the universe. Luckily my brother and I managed to save a girl in need and gave her the Rototrix a device that transforms the wielder into a Pokegirl or Pokeboy of 14 different types of Pokemon. Now she has the difficult task in not defeating Cipher but purifying all of the Shadow Pokemon. Hotaru certainly has a difficult task to do but she's the only chance two worlds have and I have a feeling, Hotarumon 14 is going to stop Cipher's plans once and for all.

The next day which was on a Saturday, Hotaru was with Ashley and Darnel, along with her parents. Hotaru hoped Ziva got any sort of useful information. She must've because Hotaru was briefly woken up upon Ziva's return at Midnight. She recalled the Zerora's paws and claws had blood on them meaning she had to make a quick getaway. Hotaru didn't think of questioning Ziva then as it was midnight and she really wanted to go back to sleep. Finally after a while, Ziva woke and met her mistress with her friends and parents downstairs. Kenshin, Hotaru's father noticed the Zerora's claws were covered in blood "I see Hotaru that you sent her spying last night."

"I did" Hotaru admitted.

Ziva sighed "Sorry mistress, I was silent as you requested but two Cipher soldiers appeared just when I was about to leave due to what I had learned."

"You learned something?" Darnel inquired.

Ziva shook her head yes "Yes, now I have no idea what Cipher has planned, but I learned something terrible. Mistress...They sold twelve Random Shadow Pokemon last night."

Hotaru frowned hearing this "Not one, two, or three...Six?!"

Twelve was going to be a bit hard for her to handle one or even four she could handle but tweleve might've been too much. Ziva shook her head yes "Yes, mistress six! While I don't know which Shadow Pokemon they sold to are, I can confirm they were sold."

"Do you know to whom?!" Kenshin asked worried himself as he thought that anyone looking to do a crime with a Shadow Pokemon could be plotting it against the Navy.

"I do not know their client's name" Ziva answered Hotaru's father "But before I I left, I took notice at the cordinace they were sending them too...Dakota City!"

"Dakota City?!" Kenshin asked then he frowned once more "That city is always experiencing trouble. Whoever bought tweleve Shadow Pokemon is up to no good."

This made Hotaru's decision clear "Then I'll have to go."

Hotaru's mother looked horrified at allowing Hotaru to go to Dakota City but as she thought about it, she understood, this was something Hotaru had to do, she did survive the horrors of New York City and that city had it's own problems with crime but this sounded almost too dangerous. Kenshin realized that his daughter was right, if she didn't fight these random twelve Shadow Pokemon that city would be in even more trouble than it was "Hotaru...You're becoming brave sweetie. You may go but watch your back."

Hotaru nodded as Ashley asked "How do you plan to go?!"

Hotaru thought about it bringing out the Eon Flute. This was the first time Kenshin and Hotaru's mother saw the flute "What's that sweetie?"

Ashley answered "It's the Eon Flute! With it she can summon two very special Legendary Pokemon whom can take her and anyone anywhere Hotaru wants! She doesn't use it often but Hotaru...To use it to get us to Dakota City, might be a waste of time."

"We can't exactly take a plane there" Darnel pointed out "Plus, I think we do need to get there as soon as possible."

Hotaru listened to him but addressed them "Ashley, Darnel, you can come with me, but I need you two to stay away if things get ugly. Only Ziva can fight alongside me."

"Why do we stay away from the fighting?" Ashley asked.

Darnel knew why "Cause what can we do against a Shadow Pokemon?"

"Good point."

"Plus" Hotaru admitted "Whoever bought these tweleve Shadow Pokemon must be a super villian or a super criminal gang leader. I don't want to see you two get hurt if things get nasty which possibly it will considering I maybe up against twenty-four enemies. It's best that those that like me and Ziva fight."

Ashley agreed "Alright, just be careful once we get there."

"I'll try to be" Hotaru admitted.

Ashley turned to Ziva "Watch over your mistress's back."

"Will do" Ziva said.

Kenshin looked at his daughter "I wish you good luck sweetie...And do me a favor, get to Dakota City, and solve the problem, and get back here, no sense in over staying your stay there."

Hotaru could see how worried her father looked at, sure he knew she was a dependable girl, but he was worried about what other new enemies she'd be up against. She gave him a smile "I'll do what you say daddy."

She leaves the house with Ziva at her side "Ashley, Darnel, you two coming?!"

"We are!"

Hotaru leads the way with Ziva following closely second with Ashley and Darnel following last. Once outside, the two look at Hotaru with Darnel speaking the question "So...How are we going to go to Dakota City?"

Hotaru racks her brain "We can't fly, nor am I able to drive..." she checks her Rototrix out "Would you two like to fly with extreme speeds?"

"The only two Pokemon that can fly are Flygon and Butterfree" Ashley said to Hotaru "At best you can only allow one passenger."

Hotaru smiled "That's true with Butterfree, but that's not true with Flygon, I could fly with two passengers riding me...But neither Butterfree or Flygon fly at extreme speeds that I was talking about."

Ziva smirked understanding giggling mischeivously. This caused Ashley to now understand "Deoxys?! Your Psychic type form?!"

"Yep" Hotaru said "We need extreme speeds to reach Dakota City and back once we completed our objective there, and Deoxys can fly."

Ashley blinked "Oh! Well..."

Darenl encouraged Hotaru to do so "You've already used Serperior as a way to try to spy on Mr. Ardos to figure out of Special Agent Gibbs was right. Plus the longer we take to go to Dakota City the more danger that city faces with those random twelve Shadow Pokemon."

Hotaru activated her Rototrix "Alright then it's agreed!"

She turned her Rototrix to the Pokemon she wanted then slapped it down, a bright flash of light erutped around Hotaru turning her briefly naked, her arms stretched till they appeared like kite strings splitting up into four arms two were orange red and two others were blue. Her body almost turned almost like an Iron Man armor but orange red including having a small circle centered in her chest. Her knees had some blue markings on it. Her head also seemed to turn into an Iron Man armor which was orange red on the outter part of the head and she had blue where her face was. When it ended Hotaru was "DEOXYS!"

She currently was in Deoxys Normal form awaiting her two friends and Ziva to climb on her. Once on Hotaru turned herself into her Deoxys Speed form and took off with Ashley screaming at first in alarm at how fast she took off but the screams died down. With Hotaru as Deoxys speed form it wouldn't take long for her to reach Dakota City.

In Dakota City a black haired boy as spending the day walking alongside his friend a white boy with blond hair. The two were rounding the bend when the nearby bank security alarm went off. The two boys stopped alarmed at this. With the black boy muttering "Really? Third time this week. Hold that thought you were on!"

The black haired boy takes little time to transform gaining a black jacket which was blue at the shoulders and edges, he also had a black shirt on with a yellow electrical symbol on his chest, black pants, and he wore a white mask. To anyone that was new to Dakota City, this boy was known as Static and he was the the city's Super Hero. Static Shock gathered a circular object that he levetated and flew to the crime scene. When he got there he saw the culprit a boy with red hair with some ends of yellow at the ends of it. He wore a red shirt and turned hearing Static. Immediately the boy gathered fire in his hands and shot them at him. Static weaves in and out of the attack path "You again Hotstreak?"

"Of course! I'm doing what I must on my part! Now burn to ashes Static!"

Static dodged two more fire attacks then shocked him and nearly immediately Hotstreak seemed to be defeated which Static found odd, after all this was like the third attack that he easily thrawted it was like his villains weren't even trying. Any other superhero would've been impressed that he had done this so quickly and effotlessly, but not Static, he was a smart super hero, probably not as smart as Iron Man, but he knew when things didn't add up right. Now Static crosses his arms "I know you aren't that easy to beat...You work for Ebon...So what's he planning?!"

Hotstreak smirked "Wouldn't you like to know Static?! You ain't going to get that from me!"

Even as the police take Hotstreak away, Static returned to his friend quickly turning back to his civilian form "What's wrong Virgil? You look like you have a feeling something is up."

Virgil, Static's civilian name, answered "Richie, These fights I've been having are too easy. Ebon is up to something like he wants me to think I've gotten so strong that his forces are nothing."

Richie frowned "What do you think maybe his end game?"

"Something seriously bad" Virgil admitted "Wish I knew what was up."

Richie frowned "We should go some place and think on this."

"Right" Virgil admitted.

As the police were taking Hotstreak, there was an explosion that caught the attention of Virgil and Richie, sensing something was off the two raced to the scene. They weren't the only one that saw this, for Hotaru whom had just arrived there, also noticed the explosion, and due to the fact her Rototrix was going off, she knew it was a Shadow Pokemon. Flying quickly to the ground she let her friends and Ziva off her and seemed to go invisible due to her insane speed. Virgil had once more turned into Static Shock as he rounded the bend to see the huge creature "Holly cow?! Is that a Land shark?!"

The police were knocked out or nearly killed and Static did the one thing he could, he delivered a dosage of electricity only for it to do absolutely nothing to him "Oh, nuts! It's immune?!"

Hotstreak was riding on it's back "Thank goodness you showed up!"

"I knew defeating you was too easy!" Static said.

"Oh you don't know the half of it!" Hotstreak said gathering flames and throwing them at him.

Static avoided the attack but the huge Land Shark trying to land a lethal Dragon Claw at him. His reaction was too slow and he was almost sliced, but then...Something fast struck at what Static thought was nearly lightspeed. The force of the blow sent the huge Shadow Pokemon backwards with surprise, not only was it surprised, but Hotstreak whom hadn't been expecting this outcome gasped looking at what had saved Static. He wasn't the only one, for Static found himself looking at his rescuer, what appeared to be somesort of human girl with some monster features "Uh, thank you."

"You're welcome" Hotaru said she then addressed the Shadow Pokemon "So...We meet again Garchomp..."

She then sighted the boy on the Garchomp whom shot flames at her, Hotaru simply teleported out of the way right besides Static once more as she spoke one question towards the boy "I see...You got a Shadow Pokemon...Not sure why you want it but I'm not gonna allow you to use it against people here."

Hotstreak smirked "You think I'm gonna stop?! Go Shadow Pokemon...Kill that girl!"

Shadow Garchomp tries but Hotaru's eyes start glowing blue as she used Psychic to pick the Shadow Pokemon up as well as seperete Hotstreak from it. Hotstreak looked paranoid now that this new girl could do this but he now knew what this was "Darn it! You must be Psychic! If so you can read...SHADOW CREATURE RETREAT!"

Shadow Garchomp obeyed using Draco Meteor somehow while in Hotaru's Psychic grasp.

Static watches as the Shadow Garchomp unleashed a deadly burst of dragonic sized meterors at the city mainly forcing the girl to intercept them with her body which created a big explosion allowing Hotstreak to get away with the Shadow Pokemon. Static feared for the girl whom had just saved him and he came to her side "Are you okay?!"

Hotaru was indeed fine "Yes," she said shaking her head "I'm fine...But gotta track those two down!"

"Settle down, you just got wholped by those meterors which I gotta admit was a smart move considering it somehow targetted the city or was."

Hotaru turned her attention towards him standing upright "No surprise there, Shadow Pokemon will do anything their owners command it."

Static reached out to her "Thanks for saving me, I'm Static by the way. Dakota City's hero."

Hotaru turned realizing that perhaps this boy might be of some use so she waits till they are far enough away from any other police or bystander coming by and she changes back to her normal self and Static watches her "Wow! Nifty. Uh, who are you?"

Hotaru answered "I'm Hotaru Hatsumi, Static. I came from Manassas Virginia to track that thing down...Plus way more than that."

"More?" Static inquired.

They were met up with Richie, Ashley, Darnel and Ziva with Ashley asking Hotaru "Are you okay?"

"I will be" Hotaru answered.

Static once more turned back into his own human form Virgil as they were in a safe area and Hotaru explained how she became a hero to him while he exchanged his own story of how he became a hero. Then Hotaru got down to the point on why she was here turning to Ziva "Virgil...According to Ziva my pet Zerora here, someone here has twelve random Shadow Pokemon running about. I've dealt with many of them from Cipher, but Ziva wasn't able to get a good look at whom it was, but I've gotta stop those Shadow Pokemon.

Virgil listened intently agreeing with her "I knew thrawting Ebon's forces three times this week was too easy...So that's what he's planning."

"Ebon?" Hotaru inquired.

Virgil listened to Hotaru's question. He turned to her going to answer her. They had little time to react, and he was grateful Hotaru appeared to help knowing how dangerous these Shadow Pokemon were. This was his chance to turn the tide so he needed to answer her question so she knew what she was up against "Ebon is what you'd call my super villian I deal with. Most of the Bang Babies serve him in someway. He's always looking for ways to destroy me and take over this city. With these Shadow Pokemon at his side now he may have the means to do it."

Ziva frowned hearing this "And from what I recall last night this Ebon has at least eleven other members including himself Mistress that makes tweleve random Shadow Pokemon...We know one of them is that Shadow Garchomp."

Hotaru frowned too "If it were only Shadow Garchomp, that I could deal with, but it isn't just Shadow Garchomp we aren't sure who the other eleven are."

"I was powerless against Garchomp" Virgil admitted "My electric attacks did absoultely nothing to it."

"Cause it's part Ground type" Hotaru told him "Any Pokemon that's part Ground type is immune to electric attacks."

"I was going to say this is an interesting oppertunity for you Mistress to turn into Raichu" Ziva admitted "But Shadow Garchomp...That's not going to be easy even for me Mistress."

Hotaru nodded her head "I know that Ziva, which means I can't use Raichu, I'd get creamed for sure...However I think I have a Pokemon that can help us in this case."

"Which is it?!" Ashley inquired.

Hotaru activated her Rototrix turning it to Butterfree causing Ashley to blink in confusion "Butterfree? What's a Bug/Flying type going to do?"

Darnel answered "Butterfree is immune to Ground type moves, so Shadow Garchomp's ground moves won't hit her, plus" he turned to Virgil "You have that hover board you ride into battle right?!"

"I do" Virgil admitted then he understood where Darnel was getting at "So if I use it, Shadow Garchomp's Ground moves won't hurt me."

Darnel nodded "Exactly!"

"But Garchomp is part dragon" Ashley protested "It's Dragon Moves can still hit Hotaru and Virgil when they go out to confront their enemies."

Ziva spoke "While Dragon Moves aren't moves to laugh at or take lightly Ashley, you are missing out how Buttterree is used for. Sure, it might not last too long against Garchomp's massive Dragon Type moves if it hits with one which will be a neatural effective hit if one does, but...Butterfree are very useful for supportive roles."

"Supportive roles?" Ashley asked blinking

Richie answered "That means Butterfree has something that change the field of battle threw many useful options. Use it's supportive movesets and it should be able to overcome even a Shadow Garchomp."

Hotaru nodded her head "Exactly, think Ashley! Butterfree has two moves I can use against an opponent that can inflict status conditions...Well three really one is I could poison the Shadow Pokemon, but that won't do much other than zapping it's HP over time plus I'd never consult into using poison based tactics-"

"Good call" Virgil admitted "Heroes shouldn't try to mess with poison unless all other options are off."

Hotaru continued "Butterfree can also paralize opponents with Stun Spore which can be very helpful, and Butterfree can put opponents to sleep with Sleep Powder."

Ziva gave Hotaru a thumbs up "Exactly! The usage of those powder moves is what makes a Butterfree a threatening Pokemon. Sure it may not hit as hard as other fully evolved Pokemon do, but untiizing it's Powders is what makes Butterfree very dangerous. If your opponent is unaware of that. Plus there is the usage of Supersonic which will inflict confusion status. So utilizing Butterfree's supportive tecnhiques is what truly makes Butterfree a threat."

Virgil was already forming a plan in his head "Hotaru! That's what we're going to do against Ebon! You gotta pick Butterfree for it's supportive option type of attacks, not only will it help against the Shadow Pokemon they have, but, it will help me against the Bang Babies Ebon has at his side."

Hotaru agreed with Virgil that it was the right course "Ziva, you are coming too, we'll need the extra fire power."

"I'd be glad to help!" Ziva said brandishing her claws "Just promise me you'll deal with Garchomp cause there's very little I can do against that thing."

Hotaru agreed "Will do Ziva."

She turned her attention to Ashley, and Darnel "Stay very far away, things are going to get ugly."

Virgil turned to her "Alright so that's our game plan. Richie you might want to go into Gear, we're going in using the four of us."

Richie agreed "Right."

Ashley sighed looking at Darnel "Looks like we're on the sidelines again."

Darnel shook his head "Hotaru's the only one of us outside of Ziva that has super powers. You may have magic but I doubt it'll help against what they are going up against on short notice."

Ashley saw his point.

Hotaru turned to Virgil "Virgil, we need to figure out where Ebon is."

Virgil for the third time this day turned himself into Static "Leave that to me. Once I found him, the four of us will take on this threat together. But just between me and you you'd might want to transform, Bang Babies won't exactly allow you to transform once there is a battle."

Hotaru agreed activating her Rototrix "Here it goes!" She slaps it down as white light engulfed her as she briefly became naked, her skin turns purple, she grows Butterfree wings from her back, and Butterfree antenna, as well as red butterfree eyes, blue feet and blue hands and when her transformation ended she was "Butterfree!"

Static nodded approvingly at Hotaru "Alright, then I'm off to find Ebon. Once then I'll give you the single. Just look in the sky for it."

"Right" Hotaru admitted leaning downward "Ziva climb onto my back, I'm going to carry you so we arrive at the same time."

"Gotcha Mistress!" Ziva said climbing onto Hotaru's back.

Miracelously despite Ziva's weight, Hotaru was able to spread her wings and take to the sky.

While this was going on Static got onto his ride and was off trying to find Ebon.

At Ebon's place, Ebon was glaring angrily at Hotstreak. Shadow Garchomp was supposed to be used in a surprise he was planning once Static discovered his wearabouts...Instead Ebon had to use the Shadow Pokemon to rescue Hotstreak. He looks at the red haired boy "I know I said to try to fool Static into luring him to think he's too strong for us, but I didn't want to spring this Shadow Pokemon I bought."

"What's the big deal?" Hotstreak demanded "He was going to figure that out sooner or later!"

Ebon silenced him "USE YOUR BRAIN FOR ONCE! True but I would've preferred it when WE had him surrounded with the other eleven Shadow Pokemon I bought. Now the Element of Surprise is broken! It won't be an easy victory as I wanted! All thanks due to me needing to use Shadow Garchomp to break you free! I know I said to throw the fight but at least put up a convincing fight than just letting Static shock you and you submitted!"

"You're element of surprise might not have worked" Hotstreak warned "There was the matter of that strange Psychic alien thing girl."

"There is that I suppose" Ebon said "Perhaps that's the intruder that the supplier I bought these six Shadow Pokemon from was alluring to."

"You knew he had a foe?!"

"Not really" Ebon said "But when there were alarms going off in his area from an intruder, oviously it was a spy whom was spying for the girl that saved Static."

"Why not ask him for help?!" Hotstreak demanded "He got careless after all and let that girl come here!"

Ebon turned admitting that Hotstreak was right but no sooner did he though did Queen Venomica appeared. This caused a panic in the ten other members of Ebon's gang. A bird like girl screamed seeing that she was a female and knew whom Queen Venomica feasted on "Don't let her eat me!"

Ebon looked at her "Queen Venomica!"

"I'm alwaysss lissstening!" Queen Venomica hissed at them.

"Then help us fight that girl!" Hotstreak shouted

"I take no ordersss from you red head" Queen Venomica said punching him with enough force to send him flying and breaking a wall. He just lay limply surprised at her strength, then again he realized he shouldn't be she was a demon after all.

Queen Venomica glared at Ebon "Firssst of all while Cipher's enemy is that girl that sssaved Ssstaticcc, she's not our problem at the moment. She's your problem now!"

"Erdos never said he had a super hero battling him!" Ebon pointed out.

"He didn't have to tell you. Your as idioticcc as your own gang to asume that he didn't have a super-heroine on his cassse" Queen Venomica warned "Plusss you get what you buy...If you are going to buy Shadow Pokemon...You should've expected that heroine to follow suit."

"Even better if we team up to kill her!" Ebon said "Cipher and you've teamed up before!"

Queen Venomica chuckled "True...Guilty asss charged on that! However we have an alternative solution and are working on one for the next time..."

"WE WERE JUST PAWNS!" Ebon shouted getting it.

Queen Venomica smirked "Not orginally you weren't. You were orginally customers...But when Erdosss and I found out about the spy, you are now pawnsss to us. We won't be helping you out, although if you and your gang can kill Hotarumon 14 we will reward you highly with top positions in Cipher."

Ebon frowned hating to be used as a pawn, then again if they did kill this Hotarumon 14, then these tweleve Shadow Pokemon he bought will expand to more and he could use that buisness to sell Shadow Pokemon to others in Dakota City. Yeah he disliked being used as a pawn but little did he know that Queen Venomica was realing him in like a fish with the sweet promise of success "Fine. We'll kill her."

Queen Venomica shook her head giving him a clear warning "Don't get cocky Ebon. That girl is smart. She's growing stronger everyday. If you underestimate her, it'll cost you...Oh and heads up, she may not like killing but she has killed if she feels the need to."

Queen Venomica disappeared leaving Ebon puzzled on what she meant by that, and once he figured it out it was too late for him to change his mind.

Hotstreak glared at Ebon "So...Two heroes now?"

Ebon sighed "Two heroes yes...Time to put the plan into action."

His allies and him moved out preparing for their offensive plan. Static was still riding his hovercraft when he sighted the bird girl. He knew she was part of Ebon's gang and he followed suit realizing she was indeed luring him to Ebon. Now Static knew why this was happening, a trap, but luckily for him Hotaru wasn't too far away. He gathered electricity in both of his palms and he unleashed it high into the air hoping Hotaru saw it. He follows her to an abandoing building and she addresses him "Oh Static! You've made it."

Static nodded "You bet! I'm here to stop this operation of yours..And I know you are here Ebon."

Ebon with the other ten members of his gang including Hotstreak appear as if they were shadows. He smirked as they surrounded him "Well Static, it's time to die!"

"I've beaten you tweleve before and I can do it again!" Static said "It'll just take some time and patience!"

Ebon smirked as he and his gang came attacking at Static. Static unleashed his electricity at his attackers whom attacked him with everything they could. Eventually their numbers were beginning to take it's toll on him. Finally Hotstreak nails Static's hovercraft knocking him off it briefly and onot his back. He watches as the villians advanced with the bird girl coming at him from the sky when WHAM! A high flying tackle sent her smashing into the wall!

Then a massive Discharge strikes all of the Bang Babies whom screamed in total pain with Hotstreak and Ebon muttering "That's worse than Static's own attacks" this caused Static to shout "Hey! I could do better but I'd rather not try to kill any of you!"

The bird girl grunts coming out of the wall still a bit stunned "What hit me?!"

She then saw a butterfly girl "A butterfly girl?!"

With the butterfly girl was a mean looking Zerora whom was preparing for another Discharge, and Richie whom was now Gear whom just wore green armor and a helmet.

"Hope I'm not too late Static!" Hotaru said "Nice showing with your electricity in form of a Pokeball to gain my attention!"

"You're not too late Hotarumon 14" Static replied to her "In fact you're just ready to crash this party!"

Ebon stared at the Butterfly Girl then looked at Hotstreak "This isn't that psychic girl you fought with Shadow Garchomp!"

Hotaru explained "Oh you want me to fight you as Deoxys?! Well I suppose I could, but it would be a waste of it's power to defeat you."

"Waste? As in we're not worth it?!" Hotstreak demanded then he fired fire at her which Hotaru weaved in and out with ease then she spat String Shot at him cocconing him "You need to chill out evil version of Human Torch!"

It didn't take Hotstreak much time to burn throguh it and he glared at Hotaru as he still had a mouthful of the silk silencing him.

"There that's much better already" Static said adding on the humorous touch Hotaru just did to Hotstreak.

Hotaru then looked at Ebon "I know you have six random Shadow Pokemon and one is that Garchomp! I'm here to take them down too!"

"Then you can have them!" Ebon shouts "Alright everyone let them out!"

Six Pokeballs went into the air, out of one came out Garchomp, a second came out a giant bee which was the one owned by the birdgirl, out of a third came a blue muscular beetle creature, out of a fourth came out another dragon this one with wings, out of the fifth came out Blastoise, and out of the sixth came out an orange lizard.

Hotaru's Rototrix went off massively as it identfied all Shadow Pokemon, but Ziva beat it to the punch "That bird girl has Beedrill, a Poison/Bug type, the second Shadow Pokemon out is Heracross, a Bug and Fighting type, fourth is Salamance a Flying/Dragon, and the sixth...is Charizard!"

Hotaru's eyes caught the held items on all six of her opponent gritting her teeth "Ziva...Are those items that I see what I think those are!"

Ziva took a look and frowned acknowling Hotaru's worry "Yep, Mistress...Those are Mega stones! All six of those Pokemon have the capability to go into Mega Pokemon!"

Hotaru frowned, she had a feeling she could beat Shadow Beedrill even if it went Mega, she probably could defeat Shadow Garchomp if she got lucky and hoped it didn't have a Rock move, Salamance was a problem as it had Intimidate so her attack was lowered, that would be a problem for Hotaru as Flying types have an advantage over Bug types, Blastoise she had a feeling she could handle it but she looks at Ziva as she eyed Charizard, it was a Fire and Flying type, and the biggest threat to her "Ziva...Can you take on Blastiose?"

"Will do so!" Ziva said nodding.

Ebon looked at Static as he and his gang prepared for the next attack. Hotaru turned to Static whom asked her "What do these Mega Stones do?"

Ziva answered "Again they turn the Pokemon that have them into Mega Pokemon...Stronger versions of the Pokemon they are."

"You got this Hotaru?" Static asked her.

Hotaru looked at Charizard and Salamance her two hardest foes at least type wise, and gathered in her strength "Yes, I do. Charizard and Salamance might be the hardest for me, but...I'll prevail! Besides...I've got Ziva backing me up!"

Ziva nodded "Indeed!"

"You four won't win!" Ebon shouted enraged to think he'd lose "Time to be destroyed Static and Hotaurmon 14!
With this the Bang Babies and Shadow Pokemon began their assult.

Next episode is Episode 36: Electric Showdown P2, Hotaru and Static must work together to overcome both their enemies, but when Ebon and his forces activate the Mega Stones, can Hotaru put up a winning hand?
