Episode 37: More than Meets the Eye

Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon I do own Hotaru, Ashley, Darnel, and Queen Venomica. I also own the new Autobot OC that appears in this episode and onward Windchaser.

One afternoon after gymnastic practice, Hotaru was just leaving school to go home. Ashley and Darnel were waiting for her at the school's entrance. Hotaru had a quiet Sunday and for once Cipher didn't attack at all that day. This was odd to her as she wouldn't have guessed that there would be a day for no evil scheme to foil. At least she rested nicely that day. She also had learned of her friend's plans during the weekend and was in agreement with them. She walks closer towards her two friends "Thanks for waiting for me Ashley and Darnel."

"You're welcome" Ashley chimed in.

"You'd do the same for us" Darnel admitted.

"True there!"

The trio walked out the door and swift like a leaf Ziva leaped down from a nearby tree branch joining them. Hotaru pets her Zerora's head "And good afternoon to you too Ziva!"

"Good to see you mistress!" Ziva replied back.

As the four got out towards the parking lot, Hotaru's cast a quick gaze around it. Most of the teachers and staff had gone home for the rest of the day so why was there a white and pink Tesla model X in it. She was still staring at the vehicle so much that Ziva turned to her "What's up Mistress? We being followed by terrorists again?"

"I hope not" Hotaru answered "Cause I don't want a repeat of what happened to me earlier with one group...It's just that everyone...Look what's in the school's parking lot."

All eyes turned towards the vehicle.

"Who do you suppose owns that?" Darnel asked amazed at such a sight as Telsas were still a bit rare to see in the state of Virginia.

"No one I know" Hotaru answered.

"Obviously someone rich" Ashley put up.

"Yeah but all the teachers and staff have left for the day" Ziva told them "So whoever owns that vehicle...Ether never came out yet or somehow is still inside your school."

At this point the group of four begin walking away from school. As they were doing so the strange vehicle seemed to stir to life in secret and it began to follow the four quietly as it could. Now while Hotaru was observant of the car she wasn't looking above for if she had she would've noticed huge darkness coming from the sky nearly engulfing the entire city.

Intro- Latias's voice- Three years ago, my brother Latios and I made our escape from Cipher taking the Rototrix with us. For three years we had avoided being captured and turned into Shadow Pokemon as well as keeping the Rototrix safe from Cipher whom were making plans to use it for their own evil needs. Three years later, Cipher has remerged selling Shadow Pokemon to Earth in a bid to take over the universe. Luckily my brother and I managed to save a girl in need and gave her the Rototrix a device that transforms the wielder into a Pokegirl or Pokeboy of 14 different types of Pokemon. Now she has the difficult task in not defeating Cipher but purifying all of the Shadow Pokemon. Hotaru certainly has a difficult task to do but she's the only chance two worlds have and I have a feeling, Hotarumon 14 is going to stop Cipher's plans once and for all.

As the car followed the four carefully. It too was a bit oblivious to the threat in the skies. It was following the four as carefully as it could without being noticed too often. Now every now and then Hotaru or Ziva would cast a look backwards with a bit of suspision. Every time they did though the car itself would be in the same place where they orginally saw it in. As this was happening the car itself was having a conversation with another being not inside it but else where the car's voice was one of a robotic girl's "Are you sure this brown haired girl is what the Decepticreeps are after Ratchet?"

"For the upteeth time Windchaser, yes!"

There was a third robotic voice but this one in a firm understanding tone "Easy there Ratchet, Windchaser has a point in this. After all we are stretching ourselves rasor thin in allowing her to venture out and wait till our Intel is correct. Megatron after all could be trying to pull a fast one on all of us."

"I suppose you are right Optimus but, I've told her time and time again I'm pretty sure."

"I'm just asking you old timer if you are sure because this girl has three friends with her and she's really not making this easy."

The voice belonging to Ratchet was about to go off on the car yet again for the old timer comment but her last comment caught him off guard "Not making this easy? What do you mean?!"

"Simple...She's watching her back. As in she might've had a bad experience once that she doesn't want to have happen again. She and some strange organic creature seem to be turning their heads at me like right now and...Hiding once again!"

The car once more stayed put hiding itself as both Hotaru and Ziva looked back once more. Luckily for the car what kept her from being detected following the group was the fact she was still in the school's parking lot nearly at the same location only maybe bit further away from it. Once Hotaru turned continuing her walk home the car awaited orders "Optimus sir, that was the fifth time she looked back at my direction!"

"Interesting" Ratchet's voice sounded "This girl isn't like Jack, Mieko or Raph... Optimus she's aware of her surroundings."

The voice belonging to Optimus was also thoughtful "Hmm, perhaps for once Agent Fowler's Intel on the girl you are following Windchaser isn't up to date as he thought it was. I myself am now growing wary that sooner or later she'll notice you following her. However we don't have any other information detailing on why the Decepticons are after her. Proceed with the current plan but go very slowly to avoid bringing more suspision to yourself. Then and if the Decepticons attack spring into action to protect the girl along with anyone else she is friends with."

"Copy that Optimus!" the car replied "I'll keep you posted sir!"

This was gonna be a rough afternoon.

At Cipher's hideout Erdos was indeed hatching his own plan. Queen Venomica was with him as they stood communicating with another man. This man seemed to be a former member of a special ops in one of the branches of the US military. Now there was reason to believe that this white haired man was part of a large secretive terrorist organization. He was the reason why Cipher didn't attack Sunday when Hotaru might've been extremely vulnerable without two of her friends to back her up.

"Thank you for agreeing to hear me our Erdos and Queen Venomica" The man said as he had two others with him acting as guards not that it would do him any good against Queen Venomica.

"You have better have a good reassson for thisss" Queen Venomica demanded "We had to delay an entire day from attacccking an enemy of oursss."

"Oh rest assured I have one" The man said "For you see, my secret group known as MECH have been watching a group of alien robots do battle on the planet. We have tried many attempts to reverse enginner them to make such robots ourselves."

"Interesting opening" Erdos told him "Yet Cipher isn't interested in making giant robots...Queen Venomica would you do the honors?"

Queen Venomica grinned "And ssslay them? Sssure! We wasssted preciousss time yesssterday all becaussse of thisss."

The man held up his hands as his two guards aimed their weapons at the Succubus Nega Queen reminding those two at first "Your weapons won't even harm her but be my guest fire upon her and I'm sure her deadly fangs will dispose all of us."

"But Silas sir we gotta defend you!"

"Let me handle this soldiers" the man said then he addressed the Succubus Naga Queen before she could launch her quick venomous strike "Then you wouldn't want to help with this plan? Such a shame because...I believe if MECH and Cipher work together...We could get all our goals."

Erdos pauses as does Queen Venomica the way this Silas person spoke this line made them rethink their options. Erdos then ask "What are you talking about?"

Silas answered "I have a plan that can be benefitual to all of us. I'm aware you are dealing with this heroine named Hotarumon 14 and am aware you haven't defeated her completely. That she's always stopping you. Plus remember I want to capture one of those alien robots to reverse engineer them to make transforming robots ourselves. I have a plan that'll work for both our goals. Please hear me out and I'll ensure you if we play our cards right...Hotarumon 14 will cease to exist, you Queen Venomica can get your reward on eating her once she's defeated...And MECH gets what we want, one of those alien robots. It won't matter which side we get but we'll get one."

"Hotarumon 14 is very resourceful" Erdos pointed out "But your proposal does sound intreging...Wouldn't you say so Queen Venomica?"

"Very much ssso!" was the Succubus Naga Queen's response to the question.

"So you'll hear me out?" Silas asked.

"If what you propose is true" Erdos told him "Then it'll make up for the lack of any progress yesterday. So sure we'll hear you out, what is your plan?"

Silas answered by bringing out a hologram "This Hotarumon 14 girl has gotten the eyes of both alien robot groups known as Autobots or Decepticons. While I myself have no idea why the Decepticons are after her, I know the reason why the Autobots are after her, and it's to protect her from the Decepticons. Even as we speak the Decepticons approach Virginia. Once they do they'll be quick to attack their target. Here's where our groups come in...Cipher attacks on one side of her and MECH will be there too surrounding her on the other end. In short Hotarumon 14 will be outnumbered and unable to escape. The Decepticons will attack from the sky with massive jets or with troops of theirs on the ground. With Cipher soldiers on one escape route from the front and MECH agents from the south...Together with the unwilling help of the Decepticons...Our numbers will overrun your heroine and she'll eventually be defeated."

"I like the plan ssso far" Queen Venomica said realizing in the situation that Silas was right "But where doesss your goal of getting one of these alien robotsss happen?"

Silas answered "Remember that I said the Autobots are also here? Well the Autobots are the Decepticon's enemies...So because the Decepticons are attacking the heroine...An Autobot should be nearby to help the heroine. See where I'm getting at?"

"I do" Erdos admitted "The Autobot will help 'protect' Hotarumon 14 from the Decepticons leaving her to deal with the combined might of our forces. Since escape will be inevitable for her the Autobot would be overrun too and captured."

"Precisely" Silas told them "So are you interested? I hear you have Shadow Pokemon...Best send a strong one that'll help wear out your foe."

Erdos had an idea with Queen Venomica adding on "May I sssugessst that you ether have one that her pet Zeroara ether cccan't help on easssily?"

"Good idea Queen Venomica" Erdos admitted "Some Ground type or Grass type."

"Precccisssely!"

Erdos looked through the Shadow Pokemon "We'll begin with Silas 's plan right away."

Silas agreed "Let me take your soldiers out Erdos, I'll command them personally along with my MECH forces. Just rest up and I'll bring this Hotarumon 14 to you all for her execution."

"I look forward to it!" Queen Venomica hissed.

Once Erdos selected the Shadow Pokemon's ball he gave it to Silas "When the battle begins throw this ball. I'll have to give it orders as it won't listen to you."

"No worries" Silas told him "I'll leave the commands you give this thing to you. I shall be off then!"

Ashley, Darnel, Hotaru and Ziva have made it the park. At this point both Ashley and Darnel took notice on how Hotaru alongside her pet were being. This was certainly a cause for alarm. Sure their friend Hotaru was nearly killed by a group of terrorists whom were forcefully lead onto the scheme by Queen Venomica. Once at the park, Ashley asks "What's going on Hotaru? You act as if we are being followed."

Hotaru answered "I can't explain it all Ashley, but ever since we saw that Tesla in the school's parking lot, I do feel as if I'm being followed again."

"I can confirm the mistress's feelings about being followed" Ziva told Ashley and Darnel "Cause even though the Mistress was in fact looking over her shoulder...Eventually even I started to feel it. Everytime though that Tesla was in it's same spot or a bit away from it...Almost as if it knew we were feeling it watching us."

"Yet no one came out of it" Hotaru admitted "I just hope it's not a stalker or someone waiting for you Ashley or Darnel to walk away from me."

Ziva flexes her paws with her claws extracted in a protective manner "Permission to slash that person Mistress if that were to happen?"

"As long as you don't kill him or her... Yes" Hotaru answered her pet.

The three teens managed to find a table to rest at while Ziva was able to climb the nearest tree and like a real house cat rests on it. She was also looking out for danger, danger to her Mistress that is. While the group was resting Hotaru asks them "So how was training for you two?"

Ashley sighed "Even though Evangeline accepted me with ease which was odd as her other student Negi mentioned, I only got the basics and it was incredibly harsh...However I think I began to learn a bit more."

"How harsh?" Hotaru asked her "Like the training Ziva gives me through friendly spars or...Worse than that?"

"Worse than that!" Ashley answered "Seriously Hotaru, I don't know how you do it. Last night I had to face off against not only against Evangeline but her maid Chachamaru and her other student Negi Springfield. I ended up getting caped within three or five seconds."

Darnel was about to ask a question when Ashley muttered out the answer to his unasked question "Worse than how Ziva dealt you Hotaru when you spared against her as a Raichu."

"For the record I put up a good fight against her" Hotaru told her.

"True but she still beat you."

"Mistress got better over time in that spar!" Ziva called down.

"True" Ashley sighed out.

"You'll get better too eventually" Hotaru told Ashley.

"How'd your training go Darnel?" both girls asked him.

"Amazingly Gibbs agreed to it" Darnel said "The man really knows his stuff...He even gave me all of his rules he goes by."

"The rules I often hear my dad remark on whenever someone on the team is close to violating one or a suspect they believe did it is in custody?" Hotaru asked.

"Yep" Darnel said "Then it went down to basics through mental training and physical training. Nothing too severe though."

"So..." Ashley asked Hotaru "How'd your Sunday go? Action packed against Cipher?"

"Amazingly no" Hotaru answered the question "It was strangely quiet right Ziva?"

"Too quiet" Ziva admitted "Which isn't good at all Mistress. They are up to something."

"I have to agree with you Ziva" Hotaru said in agreement with her pet "Nothing good can come out of such a thing. We just have to be ready."

"Ready for anything" Darnel added on.

"What do you all think maybe planned?" Ashley asked weakly.

Ziva answered "What else would Cipher be planning other than trying to take over the world? Mistress's death! Ether by capture and executed or by battle. Won't matter to them what way they end her life but rest assured they will."

Ashley paled at the comment "Did you have to give me a very detailed answer?"

"Ask question get answer" Darnel told Ashley "Even if that answer is very detailed. Ashley...Ziva's right on the money. Cipher wants Hotaru dead, and I'm sure Queen Venomica wants her alive just to eat her afterwards which would kill her that way."

"She'd eat me regardless if I'm alive or not" Hotaru muttered dryly "Which I refuse to let them capture me!"

While the four continued their rest. The Tesla car had arrived watching from a great distance in secret. The girl she was following still looked around as if she was being followed...Yet not in her direction. Even to the Tesla things didn't add up. Not at all. Now while she was far away she was able to hear every bit of information that came out of the group. She was still in the process of this as the realzation hit her. This girl wasn't like Jack, Mieko, and Raph back at the safety of the hidden Autobot base. This girl was what she gathered at this point then remembered from overhearing conversations with Bubblebee and his human partner Raph was a super heroine! She knew at this point Autobot protection wasn't going to be enough as this girl had enemies. Enemies that wanted her dead just as badly as the Decepticons possibly did. Still the car was studying the brown haired girl wondering what abilities this teenager had over any teen currently known to Autobots on Earth. Then it finally happened. The sky grew dark overhead and it was then the car looked up to see the huge shadow of the Decepticon Warship the Nemisis. At this point the car was contacting Optimus Prime and Ratchet whom was at Optimus's side "Optimus, sir! The Decepticons have arrived or are about to!"

"We have decected them far out of our normal range" Ratchet replied.

Optimus Prime gave out the command to his fellow Autobots and Windchaser "Ratchet, fire up the ground bridge! We need to get to Windchaser's area immedaitely...Windchaser, hold out for as long as you can against them...Protect that human and her friends until we arrive!"

"Yes, sir Optimus!" was the response.

At the table in the park, Ashley, Darnel, Hotaru and Ziva noticed the huge shadow of a warship approaching. The group weren't exactly able to see the warship itself but before they could think on what to do next, fifty to one hundred fighters flew out of the shadow towards them. Fifty stayed in the air while others transformed into huge robots weapons ready. Hotaru wasn't sure what she was dealing with as Ziva leaped down to help her when all of a sudden the white and pink Tesla roared onto the scene. Some of the robots watch in a bit of confusion others took aim and fired. Regardless of their action the Tesla charged forward avoiding the blasts then rammed into one of the giant robots sending him flying for miles. The group could hear the THUD sound as he landed far, far away. Upon doing this Hotaru heard the Tesla car have a sound she never heard before. She turned and saw that the car transformed into a tall female robot with blue eyes and an odd red face like symbol on her chest. The female robot's arms and legs were pink exactly where the Tesla's doors were but white nearly every where else. The female robot armed herself with what Hotaru could guess was blaster cannons from waching Star Wars only much bigger than any blaster cannon she ever seen in those movies and shows.

"Back away Decepticons! I won't let you attempt to kill her."

Hotaru looked at the robot "Who are you?"

"The name's Windchaser" the female robot replied "I'm an Autobot, but questions can be answered later. Right now I gotta get you out of here and to safety!"

Just as the group was about to heed Windchaser's words Hotaru's Rototrix sounded an alarm as it detected a Shadow Pokemon and Ziva shouts "Mistress! Cipher soldiers coming from the north!"

"Cipher?" Windchaser asked not understanding the issue then she saw what appeared to be some sort of soldiers...They weren't MECH agents but she also sighted them "Not sure what Cipher is but there are some evil MECH agents coming from the south."

"We're surrounded!" Darnel said at once.

Hotaru activated her Rototrix "Looks like we're gonna have to fight our way out. Ziva, give me cover! Uh Windchaser you might want to hide behind that tree a bit."

Windchaser heeded the warning as Ziva leaps, spun around then unleashed her Discharge attack everywhere. The massive electric attack hit all enemies shocking them even the taller robots. This completely electrocuted the human enemies while it put any unlucky red eyed robots into stasis.

This gave Hotaru all she needed "Here goes nothing! We gotta get ourselves out of this jam! I don't have time to see whom I'm gonna choose, I just gotta act quickly...Come on let's see what I got!"

Windchaser watches as there was a bright flash of white light that engulfed Hotaru's naked body and a transformation of her own began Her head turns blue and black, gains red eyes, blue dog like ears, her torso becomes cream colored fur, blue fur on her legs with a bit of black in between the torso and legs, her arms also come blue but her hands become black as well as her feet, then lastly gains three spikes, one on her chest, and one each on each of her upper hands when the light show ended Hotaru was "Lucario!"

"That's an excellent choice mistress!" Ziva told Hotaru "With Lucario you'll be able to see how many enemies we are dealing with!"

Hotaru was already doing so "Oh, we are in a jam for sure...I count at least one hundred or so Cipher soldiers...Hundreds of camoflauged soldiers that I assume are these MECH agents...And at least hundreds of these other robots.

"Those would be called Decepticons" Windchaser told her.

"Great..." Ashley muttered "Plus there is a Shadow Pokemon here! We gotta fight back but where to start?!"

Hotaru turned to Windchaser "Can you handle these Decpeticons?"
"I was sent here to protect you from them if they attacked" Windchaser answered "Handle them I can but hundreds might be a bit harder. I do have reinforcements coming though so the Decepticons can be repeled but...I am forbidden to harm organic life forms."

She eyed the MECH agents eyes narrowing at them "For the most part..."

This gave Hotaru some idea "Then Windchaser I trust you to take these Decepticons down...Leave fighting these organic life forms to me and Ziva!"

Ashley was about to fire some magic when Darnel grabbed her "Darnel?"

"We aren't ready to help Hotaru just yet Ashely! We gotta get out of here when the heavy fighting begins."

"But these numbers..."

"She can handle these numbers" Darnel told her "Right now these MECH agents...They are terrorists...We need to get reinforcements ourselves and I think I know some."

Ashley blinked "Hotaru's daddy?"
"Bingo!"

Ashley looked at Hotaru "Hotaru...Please be careful and Ziva...Look after her."

"Don't have to ask me to do that" the Zeroara declared "I'll always watch over her back!"

Ashley smiled at the Zeroara's words "Right."

Hotaru gave them the order "Ashely, Darnel...When the fighting begins run away as far as you can...It's me they all want! Then get NCIS reinforcements...Surely they want to know more about this MECH organization and I have a feeling Gibbs will have fun interogating some of them."

"Oh he'll have a field day" Darnel admitted.

Hotaru armed herself with an Aura Sphere turning to the cloest Cipher soldier "Then let this battle begin!"

She hurled the attack right at him sending him flying screaming as he did. Silas saw this and spoke out a command "Cipher...MECH...Shoot to capture or kill that girl! MECH...Stand by to take the Autobot down."
Windchaser took aim then fired at the closest Decepticon whom was so surprised that there were other organics that wanted this girl dead too. This cost him as he was easily shot down. At that point the rest of the Decepticons, Cipher soldiers and MECH Agents started their attack.

Hotaru formed a bone staff then went right to work smacking Cipher soldiers and some MECH agents whom were too slow to get out of the way earning swift knock outs. She pauses as she felt the Shadow Pokemon emerge from behind her. It was in form of a green deer like Pokemon she also had a bit of white face, and her underside was also white.

"Okay..." Hotaru muttered "Shadow Pokemon revealed."

"That's a Virizon! One of the four members of the Swords of Justice! She's a Grass and Fighting type Pokemon. It darts around opponents with a flurry of quick movements, slicing them up with its horns." Hotaru's Rototrix explained.

"Swords of Justice?" Hotaru inquired "As in..."

"Yep" Ziva told her "She's in the same group as Terrakion! The Shadow Pokemon you've had your third battle against from what you told me mistress."

"I'm starting to think Lucario maybe at a disadvantage against other Fighting types"

"I won't lie mistress...You are due to being part Steel type...However I still approve of this transformation...You get to see where the enemies are...In battle it's what you see and can make out that counts. Plus you have access to all your moves where as this Shadow Pokemon doesn't similar to me."

Hotaru gave her pet a smile "I couldn't have asked for a better ally in you Ziva. You'll make me better...Besides you are right, I maybe at a disadvantage, but even with disadvantage...One can still beat it...Besides...We've got Cipher and this MECH group to worry about..."

The two ducked several gun blasts, not that Hotaru needed to duck the blasts but Ziva certainly did. Hotaru went onto the attack disarming several enemies while Ziva went to work on the MECH agents whom were at a loss of how to deal with a bipedal cat like creature...No one told them their target had this on their side. Ziva leaps and kicked one of the Mech agents in the face taking him down. He screamed as her feet were on his head standing on him. Several other Mech agents came to his rescue surrounding her guns ready to shoot her. Just like before she spun around unleashing a Discharge shocking all of her opponents even the one she was standing on frying them and paraylizing all of them although she did claim the life of the soldier she was standing on mostly cause her attack caused his heart to stop. While the Zeroara did notice the mech agent's arms fall limply she didn't seem to care that she had killed him even if it wasn't totally on purpose. In her views they were trying to kill her mistress or capture her and she wasn't about to let any of those things happen. Besides this wasn't her first confirmed human kill and she had a feeling it wouldn't be her last. Still she had to try to do better and refrain at killing if possible as this would please her mistress as killing was against Hotaru's code as a heroine only to be done ether by accident or by no other choice in defending yourself.

"This is crazy" one of the MECH agents muttered to his companion "The boss didn't mention this thing and the target is much more stronger than he led us to believe."

"That's why he-" his companion began before Hotaru's bone staff rendered him unconsious.

The remaining one saw his partner go down unconsious and before he too could react he got blasted with an Aura Sphere that sent him screaming head first into a tree getting stuck in it while going unconsious himself.

That is when the Shadow Virizon made it's attack on Hotaru while Erdos commanding it thought his opponent's back was turned. Only one problem he somehow forgot about Lucario's aura. Hotaru turned just as Shadow Virizon attempted to strike her with her horns in an attempt to use Sacred Sword. Hotaru's bone staff met the fighting type move and amazingly held it's own as the two now stare at each other face-to-face "Alright, looks like I gotta deal with you before you take me down which isn't going to happen."

The Autobot Windchaser was dealing with several Decepticons expertly ducking behind trees to use as cover and firing back. The female Autobot wondered how long would it be till her reinforcements arrived. Still as she observed Hotaru, this girl was holding her own against the massive threats to her life. To the Autobot's eyes she was like a true Autobot already minus of course not having a robotic body, but she certainly seemed to fight for the same thing. Peace and to save the world!

As the fight was beginning a mysterious portal had opened on the opposite side, four more robotic figures emerged, one was a big red and blue one, another was bulky robot which had a greenish color scheme, there was a blue female robot, and a yellow robot. When they arrived they all saw the scene with Windchaser completely outnumbered but holding her ground. Then they also oddly saw MECH agents.

"MECH agents too?" the green robot asked "What are they doing here?"

"I have a good guess why they are doing here" the blue female robot said "And it's not a good reason."

"Agreed" The red robot admitted "It appears as if MECH is here specifically for Windchaser whom was following the girl that was in danger of a possible Decepticon attack."

The yellow robot beeped out quietly in form of a question.

"You make a good point Bumblebee" the green robot admitted "I don't see the girl anywhere."

"Orders Optimus?" the blue female robot asked the red robot.

"First and foremost we must help Windchaser" the red robot replied he studied the scene a bit more seeing two organic life forms fight alongside the Autobot speciifcally against ones that he forbid Autobots from harming "As well as give thanks to those organics. They are fighting alongside Windchaser making me think that this girl the Decepticons were plotting to attack is somewhere here on this very battlefield. Autobots roll out into action, help Windchaser, the two organics and try to prevent MECH from capturing Windchaser or retreating at all."

The four began to make their way towards the battlefield.

Hotaru was in a life and death struggle against her Shadow Pokemon foe. As she already knew this Shadow Pokemon had a type advantage over her. Typically Hotaru would be struggling but she had put everything together from sparing with Ziva to understand her Pokemon forms better to Jake's grandfather's training Hotaru had certainly improved her abilities to fight against this Shadow Pokemon. The two had clashed horns onto bone staff at least five times. Each time they collided horns or staff the two seemed to be pretty evenly matched. As they were fighting Hotaru's aura detected more robots but they seemed to have blue eyes like Windchaser so they must've been Windchaser's reinforcements she mentioned. She goes for one more swing but the Shadow Virizon swung it's horns in an upward motion this time catching the bone staff disarming Hotaru of the weapon. Seeing it's chance the Shadow Virizon slams it's huge horn that was now in shape of a sword striking Hotaru in the chest piercing it shattering her ribcage open while seemingly impaling her too. A heavily bleeding from her chest Hotaru stumbles briefly stuck to the horns also coughed out blood but this wasn't all Shadow Virizon did for with another Sacred Sword attack it sent it's opponent sky high landing on her back right into the center of a circle of both Cipher soldiers and MECH agents. The moment she landed guns were drawn onto her as she fought to get onto her feet in total pain still bleeding badly. They were about to start firing when Ziva rushed to her Mistress's aide disarming the Cipher soldiers and MECH agents with a couple of mean slashes then delivered another Discharge paraylizing the group. She looks at Hotaru reaching to help her up "You okay Mistress?"

Hotaru nodded reaching for the Zeroara's outstretched hand accepting the assistance to be helped up "Oh I will be if and when we get through this...Thanks Ziva."

Hotaru and Ziva saw a green Energy Ball attack come at them. Both avoided the attack by sidesetpping it. Shadow Virizon came at both of them horns readying itself with another Sacred Sword. Both Hotaru's Zeroara and Hotaru herself rolled out of the way causing the Shadow Pokemon to miss them. They may have avoided that attack but not what happened next soon after. Upon landing it sent forward a massive trember that knocked the two off their feet and onto their butts.

"That was Earthquake wasn't it?" Hotaru muttered.

Ziva nodded as the two get back up "It was! It ether faked us out or Erdos decided to try to unleash both moves at once."

The Shadow Virizon glared at the two but found itself unable to move successfully. Hotaru knew why, the Earthquake it sent must've caused the ground beneath where the Shadow Pokemon landed to become quicksand. Sure Grass types resisted such things but she was certain quicksand could hold anything in place. The Shadow Virizon attempts to break free trashing wildly but Hotaru raised a finger to explain to it "You caused yourself to form quicksand where you landed to unleash that Earthquake attack...You know if you struggle it makes it worse."

The Shadow Virizon wasn't listening struggling harder so Hotaru threw herself at it allowing Ziva to go back in dealing with Cipher soldiers and MECH agents. Erdos was surprised that Hotaru flung herself at the trapped Shadow Pokemon and ordered it to use one more Sacred Sword the moment Hotaru got close to it certain that he'd finish her off that way. Hotaru knew what was coming then curled up in a small ball almost as if she were Sonic the Hedgehog then began spinning to gain more speed and momentium. The two would indeed cross paths but while Sacred Sword did manage to strike Hotaru it didn't hurt her due to her being in a ball form instead it did what Hotaru wanted it to. The speed and momentium allowed her to slam into the Shadow Pokemon's head dazing it while freeing it from the quicksand landing on top of several Cipher soldiers as well as three MECH agents crushing them.

Hotaru landed on the ground still bleeding from the wounds she recieved earlier then she retrieved her bone staff and waited for the Shadow Pokemon to come to it's senses. Shadow Virizon would get onto it's feet once more then glared at Hotaru. Hotaru huffs "I saved you from that quicksand. Not that I shouldn't have but to at least prevent you from being sucked under possibly dying. I'm here to save you from what makes you a Shadow Pokemon so it looks as if these next series of moves will decide it."

Shadow Virizon sent out several Energy Balls at Hotaru. Almost like a seasoned trained Jedi Knight, Hotaru uses her staff to deflect them. Her deflection skills were top notch! Four or five of these Energy Balls were sent back at the Shadow Pokemon striking it dealing minor resisted damage to it for each one that did hit it. Five others struck Cipher agents sending them onto their backs stunned. Five others were deflected at MECH agents whom were also stunned, and the last five...Struck at least five seperate Decepticons taking them down. As Hotaru was doing this, even though it had been struck five times by it's own attacks the Shadow Virizon charged her then leaped going to try to preform both a Sacred Sword and an Earthquake if it's foe dodged the Sacred Sword attack. Hotaru saw this but generates her Aura Sphere generating it as if she were Goku using Kamamaha even speaking it out "Not gonna happen, Kamehame Ha!"

By speaking in this tone it bought her time to unleash a massive Aura Sphere in form of a Kamemaha wave right as Shadow Virizon was about to strike her. The Shadow Pokemon screeches in pain as it is flung high into the air, actually hit the cloaked Decepticon Warship Nemisis and then fell straight down like a meteor. KABOOM! The entire area erupted as if a meteroite had struck massive debries filled the air striking all the humans and rendering even more chaos. The chaos got worse as the other four Autobots arrived blasting the very confused Decepticons... They had never seen such power from this stange organic and it was beginning to frighten them. Once the other Autobots arrived blasting some Decepticons that were too slow the rest of the Decepticons bailed retreating from the battle. The explosion was also heard by Special Agent Gibbs with his team of NCIS agents whom both Ashley and Darnel were quick to get their aide. Very quietly like the Autobots had done they began to get to the area looking for culprits quietly. When the dust settled, Hotaru saw the Shadow Virizon had been beaten and spoke to her Rototrix "Shadow Pokemon defeated...Awaiting purification!"

"Leave it to me!" was the response.

The Rototrix goes right to work purifying the Shadow Pokemon and once it was done it announces "Shadow Pokemon...Purified!"

Seeing that the battle was coming to a close that both targets the girl and the Autobot he wanted to capture were still standing Silas began to rethink his options. He didn't like what he saw four more Autobots joining the very late stage of the battle. Capturing one was his goal but to try to capture four wasn't going to be easy... Especially when he only had five or ten men left consious and not paryalized. He aimed a taser gun at Hotaru's back unaware Hotaru spotted him secretly forming a small Aura Sphere in her left hand, but she also spotted Gibbs through the aura speaking to the man "Not smart of you approaching me. I see you coward."

"You are coming with me alive or dead!" Silas roared at her going to try to pull the trigger to his taser.

Gibb's voice announced louder "Same could be said for you Silas!"

Silas turned with surprise to see Special Agent Gibbs, and his whole crew of NCIS agents including Hotaru's father whom was pissed off that another terrorist group just tried to kill his daughter for no good reason other than trying to get something he wanted.

"You pull that trigger" Gibbs warned Silas as he and his crew held their own guns up at Silas "She won't be the only one needing medical help!"

Silas thought about it there was no way he was going to survive getting shot by five NCIS agents especially one that was great as Gibbs was when it came to shooting.

"Your call Silas " Gibbs commanded him "Put the taser down and then hands up into the air!"

Silas glared at the Lucario girl whom now had her Zeraora Ziva at her side paws crackling with electricity indicating she was going to use Plasma Fists on him if he dared to harm her mistress.

Hotaru spoke out a warning as by now she had revealed to him her small Aura Sphere the moment she noticed him approaching her "Go on try to shoot me! As you can see I'm not defenseless ether. You pull that trigger and three things will happen at once...One Agent Gibbs and his team will unload several bullets into you, two my pet slashes you, and three...I fire this at you in self defense. I echo Gibb's command...Your call."

Growling that he had been bested even as imposing as he was Silas had no other choice but to surrender. He dropped his taser but instead of downright surrendering to the group reached for his pocket "I admit defeat Hotarumon 14! Yet this isn't over. MECH will-

He wouldn't get further as NCIS Ziva smartly acted quickly and kicked him in the face rendering him unconsious.

"Yeah..." Tony remarked to an unconsious Silas "We forgot to mention that Ziva wanted to knock out someone. Mainly me for some odd reason, thanks for letting her vent some steam off you."

"What?" Ziva demanded at him "He might've had a bomb. Besides now he won't be able to get away."

Agent Gibbs handcuffed the unconsious MECH leader as he commanded his fellow crew "Don't just stand there, there are ten others...Chase them down and arrest them. All of them are wanted after all."

"Yes boss!" was the response from his team.

Kenshin and Gibbs approached Hotaru with Kenshin asking her a bit shocked to see his daughter's chest the way it was still bleeding "Are you okay Hotaru?"

"I will be daddy" Hotaru replied "But that was one sticky situation."

Kenshin patted his daughter's back hugging her "I'm glad your safe sweetie. You did the right thing ordering Ashley and Darnel to contact us while you fought against them. Any ideas on what those robots were?"

"Not a clue" Hotaur answered "But they all swarmed me from the skies. They were looking for someone, and I think they were looking for me, not sure why though."

Gibbs agreed to that giving her a warning "Keep watching your back Miss. Hatsumi. While MECH might be completely stopped now thanks to your quick mind and action, those robots might be back. Well Kenshin we'd better help the others round up the other MECH agents."

"Of course boss" Kenshin replied.

The two go off to help arrest the remaining MECH agents.

Ashley and Darnel ran over to their friend with Ashley hugging her "Thank goodness you are safe!"

"I'll say that was a close one" Hotaru admitted changing back to normal "Now we need answers from Windchaser."

The four walk deeper into the forest where Windchaser was still there with the other four robots. The red one spoke up first "Greetings humans. I am Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots. I'd like to thank those that fought alongside Windchaser to help her before we arrived to aide her."

"It was my pleasure Optimus sir" Hotaru replied to him sensing another great leader to think she'd be quoting his quote about one day ago to Static.

"I'm confused" the blue female robot stated to Windchaser "I thought there was that wierd dog like organic fighting against them...I do see the bepidal cat organic though."

"That dog creature was me" Hotaru replied to them.

"Hugh?" the green one asked "But your human aren't you?"

"I am."

"Then how could you be that dog organic?"

Hotaru raised her arm with the Rototrix "It's because of this, the Rototrix! I wear this as a weapon to defend myself from enemies...Mostly from Cipher but whoever attempts to harm me I'll use it on. It allows me to transform at will into fourteen different types of Pokemon."

"Oh" the green one stated "Wait a minute...Are you...What one would consider a superhero?"

Windchaser chuckled "I see I wasn't the only one overhearing that conversation Bumblebee had with Raph that one day but yeah Bulkhead, she would be a superhero."

"Not well known like Spiderman or Superman" Hotaru told the Autobots "But a superhero none the less."

Optimus introduced his fellow Autobots starting with the blue one "This is Arcee. Bulkhead, Windchaser whom you already met, and-" he pauses as Bumblebee seemed to be excited about meeting an actual hero beeping and radio singeling his excitment in meeting an actual super heroine "This is my scout Bumblebee."

Hotaru politely bowed to Optimus Prime in a show of respect to the Autobot leader she was quickly joined by Ashley, Darnel and even Ziva "It's an honor to meet you all. I'm Hotaru Hatsumi. These are my friends Ashley, Darnel, and the bipedial cat organic is my pet Ziva a Zeroara."

"The honor is all mine" Optimus replied "And I return it back to you Hotaru."

"What were those other robots that came out of the sky and attacked you Hotaru?" Ashley asked.

"Don't ask me Ashley" Hotaru told him shrugging "That's one of the questions I have."

Optimus answered "Those were our enemies, the Decepticons."

The Autobot leader then proceeded "Regardless of ether if we are Autobots or Decepticons we are all robotic organisums from the planet Cybertron."

Hotaru with her friends and pet listened to Optimus's story about the ongoing war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Neither one of them couldn't imagine fighting a war for thousands of years but all of them sided with the Autobot's point of view. After all like Hotaru the Autobots were striving to be peaceful with the people of Earth while the Decepticons wanted to conquer it.

"Okay so that explains why you all are here but why did they attack Hotaru?" Darnel asked.

Optimus was unsure himself "That is something not even I completely understand. Megatron has never had an interest in other organic life. Perhaps he has heard of your Rototrix Hotaru somehow someway and thinks there is a way that he could wield it. After all Megatron craves power so anything to improve or give him more power is what he seeks."

"He does know that he can't have it right?" Ziva asked Optimus "The Rototrix from which Latias and Latios told me can only be wielded by a pure of heart worthy human like my Mistress."

"Interesting" Arcee commented "Which means Megatron himself won't be able to wield it. He's the least worthy indiviual."

"With the emergence of Shockwave though" Bulkhead reminded her "Megatron might have a way around it."

"One thing for sure is I won't let anyone take this" Hotaru said "Besides it's stuck to my wrist."

Optimus Prime listens to this "Good to know you won't let anyone with evil intentions take such a weapon. Anyway it was always been my proceedure to give anyone that knows about us an Autobot guardian to protect from Decepticon attack. In fact we have a hidden base that we hide three other humans for their protection."

"In Hotaru's case Optimus" Windchaser told her leader "That isn't a good idea. If Cipher is truly evil they will certainly look for her."

"And it would put the lives of those other kids in danger" Darnel added on "Especially if there is another girl.."

Hotaru growled "Queen Venomica would go after her in order to get to me knowing I'd throw myself to take a deadly bite from her to save that girl."

Optimus agreed with it "Yes, I now forsee that it would endanger the humans we do have far worse than it does...Plus she is as Bumblebee is saying a superhero and is needed to take down criminals here."

"Yet we still don't know why the Decepticons are truly after her" Arcee admitted "Those ones today were just merely scouts or a welcoming party."

"Some party" Ziva muttered "Let's all go down kill the girl and get out of here. Not a party I'd call a welcoming party."

Optimus made his decision as he looked at Windchaser "Indeed your point is valid Arcee. Hotaru will you accept an Autobot guardian?"

"If you think that the Decepticons will attack me again...Yes" Hotaru said.

"Plus you finally get a vechile that will allow us to go anywhere" Darnel admitted.

"Yeah" Ashley said "You won't always have to use Deoyxs to get somewhere!"

Ziva shrugged "I won't lie something to rest in so you don't get tired out is gonna help. Plus we won't be powerless against Decepticons Mistress."

Hotaru nodded "Yeah, you could handle them...After all your Discharge attack seemed to freeze them."

"So that's how some of the Cons were in a state of stasis" Bulkhead said he looked at Ziva "Wait...You have electricity?"

Ziva giggled mischieovusly cheeks crackling with electricity "Of course, I'm an Electric type Pokemon. Can't be an Electric type without an Electric type move!"

"Uh, I might want to make sure I'm no where near you Ziva if you release an electric type move."

"She won't use it on allies" Windchaser told him "She'll use it on enemies though."

"Oh? Then that's fine!"

Optimus addressed Windchaser "Windchaser...Since we appointed you to watch over Hotaru in secret. I'm appointing you to guard her. Defend her from Decepticon attacks and keep us informed of your status. You are alone for the most part."

"We'll look after each other Optimus" Hotaru promised the Autobot leader "I'll watch over her back and she'll watch over mine."

Optimus gave her a rare smile sensing that Hotaru would do that "Thanks. Now before Arcee, Bulkhead, Bumblebee and I take our leave, I'll also let you know if we discover anything if we discover why Megatron is after you Hotaru."

"I'd look forward to figuring that out" Hotaru replied.

Optimus gave out an order "Ratchet, fire up the ground bridge! Arcee, Bulkhead, Bumblebee and I are coming back."

"What about Windchaser and of the girl that we sent her over to watch over?" was the response from another Autobot.

"Change of plans Ratchet, I'll inform you when we get back to base."

"Got it!"

Hotaru looked at Optimus Prime "Optimus sir, while I won't mind Ratchet knowing about what my skills are please keep my idenity as a superhero a secret."

Optimus gave her his absolute word "You have my my Hotaru. Your secret is safe with me and my Autobots."

He looks at Arcee, Bulkhead and Bumblebee "Not a single word to Jack, Meiko, and Raph."

"What about Agent Fowler?" Bulkhead asked.

"We still must honor that promise" Optimus told him "I'm afraid we can't even tell Agent Fowler about Hotaru's secret. Even though he would be able to keep it between himself, it is for the best."

The other three Autobots agreed with their leader. All of them understood why Hotaru wanted her identiy to be secret for if everyone knew whom she was then she wouldn't be getting any rest from the media. Bulkhead knew that if Meiko found out about Hotaru's secret then Meiko wouldn't give Hotaru any rest at all. Most likely Meiko would annoy her so best to make sure he kept his lips sealed. Another blue portal opened Hotaru with her group and Autobot guardian watch as the other four Autobots slip into it vanishing.

"What the heck was that?" Darnel asked.

Windchaser answered "A ground bridge! With it, an Autobot or any group of people can be sent anywhere around the Earth quickly."

"Interesting" Ashley noted.

Hotaru turned to Windchaser giving the Autobot a smile herself "Welcome to Team Hotarumon 14 Windchaser!"

"Hey I like that!" Windchaser chimed in "Temporarily off Team Prime and into a new team! I'm looking forward to it."

Windchaser then transformed into her vechile mode opening her doors "Need a ride home everyone?"

Hotaru got in the driver's front side while Ziva went into the passenger's side front. Ashley and Darnel got into the back seats of the car then after the doors closed Windchaser starts up her electronic engine driving off taking the humans back home. Hotaru's heart was pounding her team was actually growing. Now she was getting the confidence that she could take care of Cipher or any evil organization that reared up their ugly heads.

This episode is over! I really enjoyed getting back into Hotarumon 14. Yeah Windchaser is here to stay for the remaining of the fanfic. Next episode is Episode 38: Recovery Mission When an experimental device is stolen by Decepticons, Team Hotaru is hired to take the device back from the Decepticons but can Team Hotarumon 14 reclaim the device while battling Decpeticons and Cipher whom were also after the device?
