Episode 38: Recovery Mission P1

One night later on several marines were guarding a building. Inside it many workers remained fixated on completing a secret project. For weeks the US government had been working on it. There weren't many people that knew what was being developed. As the marines were guarding the facility they were unaware that several enemy forces were approaching. Cipher Pions lead by Miror B were slowly approaching the building. For once they weren't targeting Hotaru. Ardos had heard of this top secret weapon that was development and had told Erdos about it. Somehow someway this wasn't totally noticed by Hotaru or her pet Ziva. Too bad they weren't the only ones that had heard of it as once more a dark shadow appeared overhead and several Decepticons stormed down from their warship. The marines that were guarding the building while taken back by this sudden attack tried to fight back against the Decepticons. Without the aide of the Autobots the marine guards were easily mowed down by the Decepticons whom then would make a hole in the building then began entering it. Adding chaos into the mix Miror B with his Cipher forces had arrived. Some orchestrated fire of their own at the marine guards. Others lead by a mysterious Shadow Pokemon created another huge breech in the building. Both Cipher Pions and Decepticons entered the building where Tony and Kenshin were stationed at to oversee that the project was currently ongoing. The two NCIS agents were able to dispatch a few Cipher Pions.
"Cipher?" Tony asked Kenshin "Since when did they get this bold to attack a top secret military grade facility...And where is your daughter at a crucial time like this?!"
Kenshin was doing his best to hold off more Cipher Pions but ultimately he himself was losing ground "Most likely she doesn't know this is happening!"
NCIS Ziva's shout echoed "That isn't our only problem you two! We've got huge robots coming in from the front!"
"Tony" Kenshin said realizing what they were after "Both Cipher and these robots are after that device!"
Tony groaned realizing this as there was no way to hold back the enemy lines. Seeing that Gibbs and Mcgee were back at NCIS's headquarters investing another murder of another marine that happened earlier that day "Ziva! Fall back! We've gotta tell boss! Kenshin...We're falling back! Please note this when we have to go to your daughter for her aide after this."
Kenshin was already doing so "Got it Tony!"
The NCIS agents were able to fall back to safety getting away. Just as the leading Decepticon managed to locate where the device was supposed to be. It grabbed the device just as Miror B with some Cipher soldiers arrive "What is going on?" he asked then he looked at the Deceptcons specifically at the one that held the device "Hey! What are you doing?! That's ours!"
Without warning the Decepticons whom now saw Cipher as competition opened fire causing Miror B to shout the order "Darn it! Whatever these robots are...They got here before we did! Retreat back to Erdos before we take too much casualties ourselves!"
Most of Cipher Pions he took with him heeded his warning retreating while about ten to fifteen weren't lucky enough to escape gunned down themselves. The Decepticons getting what they came for now transform into jets then head back to their warship just as Kenshin, Tony, and Ziva exit the building which was in ruins watching the scene with a bit of horror on their faces. They even saw fifteen Cipher soldiers being gunned down too showing that these robots saw anyone as a threat even Cipher.
"Oh boy" Tony muttered "Something tells me morning isn't going to be good for any of us."
Intro- Latias's voice- Three years ago, my brother Latios and I made our escape from Cipher taking the Rototrix with us. For three years we had avoided being captured and turned into Shadow Pokemon as well as keeping the Rototrix safe from Cipher whom were making plans to use it for their own evil needs. Three years later, Cipher has remerged selling Shadow Pokemon to Earth in a bid to take over the universe. Luckily my brother and I managed to save a girl in need and gave her the Rototrix a device that transforms the wielder into a Pokegirl or Pokeboy of 14 different types of Pokemon. Now she has the difficult task in not defeating Cipher but purifying all of the Shadow Pokemon. Hotaru certainly has a difficult task to do but she's the only chance two worlds have and I have a feeling, Hotarumon 14 is going to stop Cipher's plans once and for all.

Ashley, Darnel, and Hotaru were planning to let Windchaser take them to school. Hotaru wasn't aware of the events that happened during the night. Just as she with her two friends was about to enter Windchaser, Ziva noticed a car moving into her mistress's driveway. The Zeroara waves to her mistress which Hotaru caught on then turned seeing the car. The car door's opened, then both Special Agent Gibbs and another black man exit out. Their faces were grim making Hotaru think her father might've been gunned down in the line of duty "Oh-no"
Ashley and Darnel watch as Gibbs walks over to Hotaru. Hotaru gulped almost fighting back the tears always knowing that whenever her father worked he too could be gunned down. Sensing this Gibbs spoke "Relax, your father is fine Miss. Hatsumi."
Hotaru sighed with relief as the other man spoke "Sorry to approach unannounced Miss. Hatsumi. I'm Director Vance, director of NCIS."
At this Ashley, and Darnel were worried themselves with Ashley asking Hotaru "Hotaru...What did you do?"
"Nothing!" Hotaru quickly said.
"Indeed she did nothing wrong" Ziva confirmed "I was with her nearly all day long yesterday. We all were."
Director Vance spoke "Miss. Hatsumi, you aren't in trouble with the law. However...NCIS has need of your assistance."
"My assistance?" Hotaru asked blinking confused.
Gibbs nodded "Yes, with what happened last night you are our only hope. Ashley, Darnel you two should also come with us...Also...Ziva you too."
"Me too?" the Zeroara inquired.
"We need what Gibbs says is Team Hotarumon 14" Director Vance told them firmly.
Hotaru looked at the director's face seeing that the man needed help and she nodded "Alright then."
"So…" Gibbs said "Want us to give you a lift or…"
Hotaru turned to Windchaser whom started her electric engine "We'll follow you in this car."
Gibbs turned to his director "Alright then let's get them to a secret location. Miss. Hatsumi with your team follow us."
Agent Gibbs, and Director Vance enter the car they arrived in just as Team Hotarumon 14 entered Windchaser.
"You sure this is okay Hotaru?" Windchaser asked Hotaru once she got in.
"Yes, Windchaser" Hotaru told the Autobot "Whatever happened last night must've been Cipher related somewhat. They require the whole Hotarumon 14 team which includes you...So all you have to do is follow that car."
"Of course!"
Windchaser follows Agent Gibbs and Director Vance's car.
"What do you suppose has happened?" Ashley asked Hotaru.
Hotaru shrugged "Not sure, but whatever happened must've been bad. Bad enough for the Director of NCIS to join Agent Gibbs on searching for me."
"Ain't that the truth" Darnel admitted "Whatever the case is we gotta be on our A game!"
Hotaru addressed Ziva "Ziva, whatever has happened, I'm already giving you permission to kill enemies on sight."
"That's unlike you Mistress!" Ziva said shocked Hotaru would say that.
"Yeah Hotaru" Darnel said "Whatever happened to your no kill rule unless it's an accident or in defense of yourself?"
"That is still in effect" Hotaru said "I really hate killing but Darnel...Doesn't something not seem right? NCIS doesn't come to any civilian for help. If NCIS is coming asking for help...This means killing for once might have a high possibility."
Even Darnel had to agree to it "Well, when you put it that way...I guess we have that as a high option...I mean...NCIS sometimes does handle terrorist cells or a suspect may need to be gunned down...So we're gonna have to see where this goes."
Ashley gave out a sigh "Regardless of what is going to happen next we'll give NCIS Team Hotarumon 14's best efforts...Even though only maybe three of us are ready for any fight."
Windchaser continued to follow the two NCIS agents' car noticing something "Hmn...Interesting...We aren't going to NCIS headquarters…"
As they get to their final destination Windchaser starts noticing the environment and spoke worried "Hotaru...I'm thinking we are about to see Optimus again."
"How'd you figure that?" Ashley asked for Hotaru.
"The scenery!" Windchaser replied "Our base Optimus mentioned is in some sort of dessert area...Look outside."
The group do look outside seeing that they were in a dessert area.
"Let's hope that Jack, Meiko, and Raph aren't around" Hotaru muttered.
Darnel checked his watch "They should be in school Hotaru. Just like we should be but NCIS asked of our assistance on the matter."
"Now something is urgent" Windchaser admitted "If we are on track of seeing Optimus Prime again."
Hotaru agreed now "Yeah, something isn't right at all!"
Finally the two vehicles arrived at the Autobot Base! Once inside the Autobot base, Windchaser honks her horn as a way to inform any other Autobot inside that she was coming around. Once inside the Autobot base, Windchaser unlocks her doors letting her passengers out. Agent Gibbs, and Director Vance also came out of their own car. Then the six humans walked forward just as Windchaser transformed into her robot form startling the two NCIS agents a bit. They relaxed a bit when another human another black but portly man walked down with Optimus Prime at his side "It's okay you two! That robot is on our side like Optimus Prime here."
The man introduced himself to the group of six humans "Greetings, I'm Agent William Fowler the agent in charge of watching over the Autobots here as well as help them out in keeping their secret well a secret. With me is Optimus Prime, the leader and commander of the Autobots. Optimus, meet Special Agent Gibbs of NCIS and his boss the Director of NCIS Director Vance."
"My thanks to you for allowing this secret meeting to be hosted here" Director Vance said looking at everyone once everyone found a seat.
The only exceptions were Optimus and Windchaser whom preferred to stand while the meeting was unfolding. The Autobot medic Ratchet stood at the radar screen allowing his leader and Windchaser to listen to what Agent Fowler had to say while he looked at the radar for any Decepticon activity. Once things were ready Director Vance decided to speak "Once again, I'd like to thank Agent William Fowler here for allowing this secret meeting to be held here."
"Pleasure's all mine Director" Agent Fowler said.
Director Vance then looked at Hotaru along with her friends, Autobot guardian and her pet "Sorry if Agent Gibbs and I worried you thinking that your father died in the line of duty. He, Tony, and Ziva are safe and sound."
"Thank goodness" Hotaru said sighing with relief once more.
Director Vance looked at Hotaru and her team as he allowed the Autobot Base to show a device that was being built "The US government was working on a top secret military weapon that could be used for any NCIS agent or law enforcement personnel. Currently what that top secret weapon could do is still top secret even to me as director of NCIS. However during the night at the facility where the weapon was being developed was raided."
The Director let the video play and everyone saw what happened the darkness over the building then the robots attacking.
"Decepticons!" Optimus and Windchaser said distastefully.
Fowler frowned seeing the footage as he asked the director "Why didn't you at least contact me when this was happening? I would've sent a message to Optimus Prime here and the Autobots would've been able to help drive the Deceptcons back."
"The attack was all sudden and unprovoked. Besides that facility was where that secret device was being worked on" Director Vance said to him "Plus I didn't know about Autobots existing Fowler so how was I supposed to call you to have them respond? Anyway...There's more...Miss Hatsumi…"
Hotaru was still watching the video and saw the white armor Cipher Pions "Cipher!"
"Precisely" Gibbs told Hotaru "Which once your father, Tony, and our Ziva informed me what went down. I immediately knew to come to you Miss. Hatsumi."
Director Vance looked at Gibbs "Not sure what you see in her Gibbs she's a teenage girl."
Hotaru spoke politely to the director "That has engaged Cipher plenty of times...Like those terrorists that gathered at your headquarters that one time."
The Director turned remembering that "Oh yeah, they were after someone…"
"Me" Hotaru explained "I was badly injured earlier that day and Cipher with those Terrorists backing them up went to try to finish the job."
"Oh" the Director said.
Hotaru looked at the footage again "So, let me guess."
Director Vance addressed her "Gibbs and your father both have high phrase for you. It was clearly obvious that both these Decepticons and Cipher were after that same device. The Decepticons beat Cipher to the punch. Miss. Hatsumi...NCIS needs you and your team's aide in reclaiming that device from the Decepticons."
Ratchet overheard "Shouldn't that be for Autobots?"
Even Fowler was about to agree with Ratchet when Director Vance shut it down "If the Decepticons were the only ones to attack to steel that developing device I'd consider that option! However Cipher is also after that device too which stands to reason why Gibbs and Miss. Hatsumi's father highly requested her team to handle this."
The Director eyed Hotaru "Question is...Will you help us?"
Hotaru gave him her firm answer "Of course I will! It's sort of my job to take Cipher down." she looks at her Rototrix "After all, whatever weapon was in development it had to be strong like my Rototrix here. Cipher stole this but thanks to two legendary Pokemon it was retrieved back and hidden. Now I'm not sure what the weapon was to do, but it had to do something good to mankind if NCIS is asking for my help in retrieving it back." she then saluted Director Vance as she spoke these last words "So Director, I'm on the case!"
Now it was Director Vance's turn to give Hotaru a smile as he could see the fiery conviction in her eyes that she would indeed retake that stolen device back "I now see I was mistaken to think of you as just being a normal teenage girl Miss. Hatsumi. I see that you have your father's courage and the will of any NCIS agent to do what's right. One day you'd make one heck of an NCIS agent or even a police officer if you decide to go down that path."
Hotaru blushes red at the comment "Thanks Director sir!"
"Is there anything you can tell us about that device?" Agent Fowler asked.
Director Vance looked at him then shrugged "We aren't sure how it works this early on but they say it was supposed to be some sort of transformation item."
"That's similar to Power Rangers" Gibbs added on "as to what it looks like and how it operates that's been the piece that's missing."
"We were going to let Tony or your father volunteer to use the device when it was ready so they'd have someone to test it out safely before releasing it" Director Vance told Hotaru "Which was why those two were at the facility yesterday night."
Hotaru understood perhaps her father wanted to try to save the world alongside his daughter. No matter she was needed for this "Alright then like I said we're in."
Director Vance addressed her "Thanks Miss. Hatsumi! Please know that you have NCIS's backing and will be allowed to access any place owned by the US military. If you need our help with anything we will lend it."
Gibbs agreed "You will have my team of NCIS agents helping whenever you request them to."
"Thanks" Hotaru told them.
Director Vance then told her "Of course we don't ask you to do this for free, you will be paid for this."
"There's no need to pay us for that Director" Hotaru told him with her friends agreeing with her "Just the knowledge that we're going to stop both Cipher and these Decepticons is good enough!"
"Plus we're heroes" Ashley admitted "More like Hotaru is a hero and heroes don't do things for payment."
Hotaru turned to Gibbs "Any idea where we can get details on this device?"
Gibbs answered "There is another facility that we have stashed Abby in. Knowing Abby she has the plans for the device."
Hotaru gets up right away "Agent Gibbs, give Windchaser the directions to that facility. Then notify at least Abby that I'm coming."
Gibbs gives Windchaser the directions to that facility. Once this was done Hotaru turns to her team "Alright everyone! Let's get moving! The more time the Decepticons have that device in their clutches who knows what they plan to do."
Windchaser transforms allowing Hotaru along her friends to enter her. Ratchet began firing up the ground bridge so that he could at least have them arrive back in Manassas so that Windchaser could take them all that second facility. As this was happening Windchaser rolls down her window as Optimus approached Hotaru whom was in the driver's seat "Keep me also informed Hotaru, if you need Autobot support you'll have it as well. For this joint operation NCIS and Autobots must work together as well."
Hotaru gave him a nod "Will do!"
The ground bridge was fired up and Windchaser drives into it being transported to Manassas. While this was going on Director Vance turned to Gibbs "I so hope that we didn't send Agent Hatsumi's daughter to die Gibbs."
"We didn't" Gibbs told him firmly "It's all in her hands now Director. All we can do is wait to see what happens. Besides I have a feeling she won't let us down."
Optimus Prime spoke to the two NCIS agents "I have to agree with Agent Gibbs Director. From what I and Windhcaser have seen Hotaru from two nights ago she is as brave as any Autobot I know or as brave as any human I know."
Agent Fowler whistles at that reveal "That's a high compliment for Hotaru coming from Optimus director which should go a long way."
Director Vance closed his eyes seeing the point of Gibbs and Optimus Prime "Don't get me wrong you two. I too saw that conviction in Hotaru's eyes well enough to see your points...Still it bugs me to send a thirteen year old girl onto battle to retrieve that stolen device. I'm sure you all could understand that feeling."
Optimus could relate "I know the feeling you are feeling Director Vance. That feeling you feel is similar to how I feel about harming organics or putting them in harms way. Yet I have quite a few humans that are just as brave as Hotaru is. In fact I owe one of them thanks for retrieving my memories when I briefly lost them."
Director Vance smiles at Optimus Prime seeing the Autobot leader was wise beyond his years "You're right Optimus sometimes the way one feels like that is that they feel responsible for anything that happens to that individual's life. Yet there's always risks involved for anything. Thanks Optimus I needed that reminder, I do feel a bit better now."
"My pleasure" Optimus said he then addressed Ratchet "Ratchet, keep monitoring for any and all Decepticon activities. I expect Hotaru to call for our aide when she puts together a plan to reclaim the device. Right now just like a true detective she's trying to piece together what she's looking for exactly or gaining clues to see where the Decepticons might be heading towards."
"Or she's trying to think of a way to stop Cipher from getting those blueprints" Gibbs admitted.
"There is that too" Director Vance admitted.
At Cipher's headquarters Miror B was explaining to Erdos and Queen Venomica of the events of last night. Neither Erdos or Queen Venomica were pleased to hear that this mission they sent him on was a failure. Yet when they viewed the footage it cleared Miror B of failing the mission downright due to some mishap on his part. The plan went the way they wanted it to...It was just that the Decepticons got to that facility first. Erdos looks at Queen Venomica "So much for being allies with those Decepticons hey Queen Venomica?"
Queen Venomica answered "I'd have to agree with you on that one. However it'sss probably for the bessst. Sure at the moment we have a cccommon enemy in Hotarumon 14 somehow as I'm still trying to pieccce together why that isss with thessse Decepticcconsss. One thing I do know isss that thessse Decccepticcconsss are lead by their leader Megatron whom doesssn't like to ssshare power."
"Do you think he ordered the Decepticon attack on that facility?"
"I know he did" Queen Venomica told him "Megatron is always aware of everything the Decccepticcconsss do. He like me isss the head honcho of the Decccepticonsss. There isssn't anything he isssn't aware of that he hasss the final sssay to it."
Ardos's voice sounded through a specialized speaker "Yet the mission was a failure and now Hotarumon 14 knows what we did last night."
"HOW WOULD YOU KNOW?!"
"I know because she, Ashley, and Darnel never appeared in class today" Ardos explained "Whenever I went to say they aren't here on the computer here it said they have a highly unusual excused absence."
"That facility did belong to the US military" Miror B pointed out "There were also some NCIS agents about."
"NCIS has partnered up with Hotaru in the past due to their paths aliening" Ardos conversed with his brother "NCIS knows we are pretty much villains no doubt deemed us as a terrorist cell."
"Asss they have every sssingle right to do ssso" Queen Venomica admitted.
Erdos listened closely "So she knows what we were up to at this point."
"Most likely" Ardos admitted.
Erdos frowned at this if only they had stolen that device from that facility before the Decepticons could. There was perhaps a chance they could turn their losing streak around. Erdos turned to Miror B and Queen Venomica "Our first attempt failed due to not anticipating the Decepticons getting there before we did. However...There has to be another facility that has the blue print to the device."
"There is" Ardos confirmed "It won't be easy to gain access to, plus we should expect Team Hotarumon 14 to be going over there first."
"It would make sssense" Queen Venomica admitted "Hotarumon 14 would want to know what ssshe's looking for."
Erdos saw where this was going smirking "Interesting...Our forces will get a fight out of Hotarumon 14 then...Ardos I believe your break is almost over so I'll leave you be. Anyway...Miror B once more we might've failed but we haven't lost the war."
Queen Venomica smirked "Ah, you have a new plan! Well now let'sss here it!"
"We will" Erdos said then he proceeded "Miror B, you are to go to that second facility...See if you can gain that blueprint data. Perhaps we can make one ourselves from scratch."
"But Hotarumon 14 will be there!"
"Precisely" Erdos told Miror B "Which means she'll be figuring things out and how to proceed from there. Most likely she'll be the only one. You just have to lead Cipher in an attempt to delay that outcome as much as you can."
"Just delay her?"
Erdos turned addressing Queen Venomica "Indeed Miror B, we won't be able to stop Hotarumon 14 from gaining those details she seeks. She'll beat our men. While you are doing that...Queen Venomica I request your assistance against those Decepticons. Cause we'll be going after them to see if we can retake that device back."
"Would be difficccult to do" Queen Venomica admitted "But I sssee your point. We gotta do sssomething to gain what we want. Ssso leave that planning to me."
Erdos smirked "We should expect Hotarumon 14 to come to take that device back. So we plan for that...And whom plans best for that than you Queen Venomica."
Queen Venomica grinned "Very well! I'll be preparing for this sssecond part. Miror B...Time for you to do your part!"
With that she disappeared to prepare for the second part of the plan. Miror B turned to Erdos "So you want me to go without a Shadow Pokemon?"
Erdos nodded "For once yes. Remember this battle you will have with Hotarumon 14 should be an attempt to delay the inevitable. Besides I'd wager Queen Venomica would be able to use a Shadow Pokemon in her part of the plan."
"Gotcha, I'm on my way out!"
Miror B gathers more Cipher Pions then head out.
It was getting to the afternoon hours when Windchaser was about to finally arrive at the second facility that was holding the blueprints. The only reason why she didn't earlier was that she needed to recharge her battery so that she could blend in more to any other onlookers. While they were being driven to the second facility Hotaru was wracking her brain on what the best course of action was. She truly didn't want to fail Director Vance. In this recovery mission...Failure wasn't an option.
"In about ten minutes we will be arriving at that second facility!" Windchaser reported to all her passengers.
"So remind me why we are coming here first?" Ashley asked Hotaru "I mean we know the Decepticons have that device so shouldn't we be plotting to take it back?"
"One step at a time Ashley" Darnel told her "Sure both Director Vance and Agent Gibbs told us what to look for. Plus they did explain what it was supposed to do. I approve of us heading here first because thanks to Abby perhaps we can get more answers. Just by gaining access to the blueprint to this device we'll know far more."
Hotaru agreed with Darnel "Precisely Ashley! Darnel's right. We are going to take this investigation from the basic just as anyone investigating a crime would need to do."
"Cipher will be coming for it too" Darnel told Hotaru whom nodded commenting to him "Indeed, they would be fools not to. Windchaser...Can you send a message to that facility mainly Abby that they might be under attack from Cipher?"
"Certainly!" Windchaser said as she was getting closer to the facility readying herself to send the message "For this first part of the mission though I'm afraid I won't be much help due to facing organics."
"It maybe a little that you'll be doing" Hotaru told her "But you'll be our first line of defense from Cipher."
"Come again?" the Autobot asked "Once more I can't harm them."
Hotaru answered her "I know and I'm not asking you to break Autobot protocol on that issue. However you can still be useful to the team as an undercover operative."
"I'm seeing it now!" Windchaser said "Blend into the surrounding and wait to see Cipher forces."
"Exactly" Hotaru told her "Then once you sight them send a message to me and the rest of us will be ready for them."
"Why am I suspecting we are going to plot a trap for them?" Darnel asked.
Hotaru winked at him "Cause that's what we're gonna do. We know they are coming to the facility for the blueprints. With the right plan we'll trap these attackers and possibly make a dent in Cipher's ability to field soldiers for their criminal empire by having them be arrested for their crimes."
Ashley even liked that idea "Perfect plan Hotaru! Yet let's hope they don't use a Shadow Pokemon."
"Plus we have to watch out for Queen Venomica" Ziva pointed out "If she joins this trap might not work."
Hotaru frowned "Indeed there is Queen Venomica to worry about, however I feel as if that this attack Cipher will send on this facility won't have her involved."
Darnel understood her worry "Then that means… Queen Venomica will be expecting us when we make a B line to where ever the Decepticons are!"
Ashley pails "She would be the one we'd face when we go after the Deceptcons...I don't suppose you have a plan to deal with her right?"
Hotaru shrugged "I might have an idea. Yet we need to focus on one part at a time."
After Windchaser sent the message to Abbey the group had finally arrived at the second facility. Hotaru showed the badge Director Vance gave her to the marine commander whom after he saw it let her in. Ashley, Darnel, Hotaru, and Ziva get out to go inside the facility while Windchaser did her best to blend into her surroundings. She even turned her engine off to look the part even more. With Hotaru leading her friends and pet the four enter the facility. They quickly find Abbey whom was indeed waiting for them.
"Oh I'm so glad you four arrived!" Abbey said waving to them welcoming them all into a room.
Hotaru let Abbey take them deep into a room then locks it with Hotaru asking "Okay, Abbey what can you safely tell us about this device that were trying recover."
Abbey hums liking that tone "I see you are acting like Gibbs would normally do and for the record it's called for."
She walks over to the computer in the room as she spoke in a whisper "You all have to promise not to exactly tell anyone. This thing is top secret but with the help of McGee I was able to get a bit more Intel for you four."
Ashley, Darnel, Hotaru and Ziva all share an understanding nod they'd keep this device a secret after all it wasn't like Hotaru didn't know what secrecy meant being a heroine. Abbey began giving the details "As the Director and Agent Gibbs told you already it's some sort of transformation item. I know one of them mentioned it was similar to Power Rangers which it is similar but also it's power source is said to be something else related."
"What are we looking for exactly?" Darnel asked her.
"Look for some sort of belt like object" Abbey responded.
"Interesting" Ashley said looking at the highly classified object.
It was at this point Windchaser singled to Hotaru's Rototrix. Abbey mistaken it for a Shadow Pokemon "Shadow Pokemon? Now? Thank goodness you're already here Hotaru."
"No" Hotaru told her "That may come whenever Ashley, Darnel, Ziva and I go to retrieve that stolen item back from the Decepticons. However that's our secret fifth member of the team Windchaser. She's spotted Cipher on the move."
"The marine guards should be enough to handle them!" Abbey told Hotaru.
Hotaru agreed "Tell them to stand down."
Abbey looked a bit confused as Hotaru turned to Ashley, Darnel and Ziva "Time for action! Time to put a trap for these Cipher soldiers."
Abbey understood "You're going to fight Cipher?"
Hotaru nodded "Yes, Miss. Abbey, I have a request that you tell the armed guards to stand down and allow Cipher to enter here, they may try to make three or four branches but we'll have that covered."
Abbey understood smirking "Well look at you Hotaru thinking like Gibbs or your father might. That's a perfect trap, anything else you'd need me to do?"
Hotaru answered "Keep yourself hidden at all times and lock doors until you hear my voice telling it's clear. Then when Cipher takes the bait and are about to be routed up you may tell the armed guards to enter to arrest Cipher."
Darnel added on "You also might want to turn off the power of this facility to confuse them a bit."
Abbey nodded "Alright then! I trust you."
Abbey gives the four the areas where Cipher might try a several breeches then leaves with Hotaru giving out commands to her team "Alright here's the plan I suspect the main forces will come in through the first breech which maybe in the same area we came from. Ashley you take the opposite side of the building from where we are. Darnel go to the left of the building...And Ziva, you get the highest floor. Try to be silent as you can be and allow Cipher to enter only springing when you all think all of the enemy has entered."
"Got it!" was the response heading out.
Team Hotaru gets ready for battle heading out to be in their positions. Hotaru got into hers, activated her Rototrix turned it to the Pokemon she wanted and slapped it down. A white flash erupted from around Hotaru's body turning her briefly naked as she transformed for the second time this day her skin turns purple, she grows huge Butterfree wings from her back, and Butterfree antenna, as well as red butterfree compound eyes, blue feet and blue hands and when her transformation was complete Hotaru was "Butterfree!"
Once she transformed she did her best to blend into the area like a red butterfly would do by sticking on a wall in the darkened area.

Hotaru didn't have to wait long for Cipher to enter the building. There were multiple explosions going off in four separate areas just as Hotaru had expected. Several Cipher Pions appeared in the biggest breeches then entered. When they did they saw that there was no one around and that the lights were off. Hotaru let them all wander in till she was certain they were all in. The first Cipher Pion that entered reported to Miror B whom was about to walk into the first breech "Sir, the lights are all off here and no one's around."
"Perfect chance to get those blueprints!" Miror B said "What they don't know won't hurt them! Proceed to finding those blueprints!"
"Yes sir!"
Several Cipher Pions prepare to walk off when Hotaru decided it was time to act as she uses String Shot on the Cipher Pions wrapping them up in secret and sticking them to walls in silky cocoons. She did this so effortlessly and noiselessly that not a single one of the invaders thought to look up and see her. That was until she punches four more in their faces. Their brief grunts of surprise before being knocked out now managed to alert them that someone was indeed here. They saw four of their member unconscious then saw the other four Cipher Pions trapped in Cocoons.
"Curses she's here!" a Cipher Pion shouted in alarm even when he wasn't able to see Hotaru in the darkness.
Hotaru's voice sounded firmly and strong as she spoke to Cipher "You know for some people that claim to be a high tech criminal organization...You can be so easy to predict. They got word of your approach and shut this facility down temporarily. However I know what to look for and those blueprints...Won't ever be in your hands cause…"
As she was talking she now dives from the sky tackling a Cipher Pion in his head taking him down immediately. Then she appeared in front of the group speaking out her next words "This whole party you have...Will all be arrested after this!"
Before the Cipher Pion that she was standing in front of could act Hotaru lashes out a kick to his face sending him backwards screaming "IT'S HOTARUMON 14!"
Hearing this the remaining Cipher Pions took aim with their gun weapons and began firing upon her. Hotaru weaves in and out even takes to the skies as Miror B arrived in seeing this and growls at his soldier's inaccurate blasts "DID YOU TAKE STORM TROOPER TRAINING CAUSE YOU ARE MISSING HER YOU IDIOTS!"
Hotaru calmly goes on the attack lashing out String Shots tying more Cipher Pions up on walls, putting them to sleep with Sleep Powder, confusing them with Supersonic...The confusion stat she had to giggle at as they literally would fire upon each other.
"Do I have to do everything myself?!" Miror B demanded seeing this.
Hotaru looked at him daring him "Alright Miror B let's see if you can handle me with your normal Pokemon."
Miror B growls reaching for his Pokeball but Hotaru wouldn't let him as she spat out her String Shot silk at his Pokeball gluing it to his belt "OH-NO! OH COME ON HOTARUMON 14! WHY CAN'T YOU LET ME FIGHT YOU AS A TRAINER WOULD NORMALLY!"
Hotaru's answer to this was "I'm not a Pokemon Trainers can catch for one thing! Plus I'm kind of in a hurry so I don't have much time for you!"
"CURSES!" Miror B shouted "Can anyone of our other forces help?"
On the top floor more Cipher Pions had entered but one had immediately stepped on Ziva's tail. The Zeroara gave out a hiss before attacking them with a few slashes and a mighty Discharge. She was still fighting the Cipher Pions but without a Shadow Pokemon there wasn't much they could do to the enraged Zeraora. One of the Cipher Pions was about to answer when Ziva used Fire Punch to burn him in the chest almost killing him on the spot as her fist went right through his chest. Ziva heard Miror B's order for help then roared into the Mike "YOU'LL GET NO HELP YOU CIPHER SCUM!"
After shouting this Ziva went onto the attack to dispatch or take out the remaining Cipher Pions on her end.
Out of a third breech more Cipher Pions had been confronted by Ashley. They smirk seeing that it wasn't Hotaru. If it were Hotaru they would've panicked. Instead they believed their numbers could deal with Ashley. One Cipher Pion remarked to Miror B's call for help "We're kind of busy ourselves but...We may have a hostage to use against Hotarumon 14"
He then ordered the others "Capture that blond girl! We're gonna make Hotarumon 14 stand down and kill both of them!"
Ashley was pissed that they were discarding her as weak. She watches them arm themselves with their blasters pointing them at her when she raises her hand "That was the old version of me! All I could do was sideline work but it's a BIG MISTAKE TO UNDERESTIMATE ME! Flanz Exarmato!"
Ashley unleashed a powerful gusts of wind that immediately disarmed the Cipher Pions. Ashley then went onto the attack with what she had been taught by Evangeline "Ice Spirits on high, fill the sky. Tundra and Glaciers on the run from the land of midnight sun"; "Frozen earth!"
Huge Ice pillars shot out of the earth towards the Cipher Pions. They weren't expecting this and soon all of them had their feet frozen. The one that answered Miror B's call shouted "WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?!"
Ashley smirked as she answered "I may look innocent and defenseless. Yet those days will be over! I vowed to myself that I will do what I can to help Hotaru out. That was just a small sample of what I can do...My 'teacher' would wipe you all out in seconds. However unlike her I'm not blood thirsty. Now all of you can stay there waiting for the military police!"
She goes off leaving her opponents frozen.
"Did you get the girl?" Miror B's voice sounded to the Cipher Pion that told him he was going to do so.
"Negative sir!" the Cipher Pion muttered dryly "That blond isn't as powerless as we thought she was…"
Darnel on the other hand was putting Gibb's training to good work. Now he didn't come armed with any weapon but with Gibb's training he was able to win out in hand-to-hand combat with at least these Cipher Soldiers. Immediately when the fourth entered Darnel didn't waste time. He waited till they all came in then using the cover of darkness then like Batman would do when engaging an entire group of enemies went onto the attack. Turns out Cipher for once completely came unprepared for this. They had been completely out thought by Hotaru and her allies. Darnel managed to take all of them down with punches, and kicks. Soon the enemy was left with just one left and he was trembling "This is insane Miror B! We no you underestimated Hotarumon 14! She had us beat!"
Darnel soon silenced him too with a punch to his face "You were too easy to figure out what plan you were going to do...So have fun in a military prison!"
He then ran off towards Hotaru.
Hotaru was easily dealing the Cipher Pions that were coming in. Miror B heard that all of his forces weren't going to help being defeated by this girl! He glared at her hatred spewing for once it was true he came totally unprepared for Hotaru. This girl completely out thought him. His only saving grace was the fact he wasn't trapped in a cocoon. He then watches as Ashley, Darnel and lastly Ziva join Hotaru.
"This is impossible!" Miror B shouted "You couldn't have known we were entering in four ways?!"
"It's possible" Darnel told Miror B "Cause in the end you aren't the Decepticons and evil organizations like yourselves can be very predictable. If you want something you'd set up diversions."
Several police sirens were heard as the military police and armed marine guards were assembling. Miror B growls hating Hotaru right here and now. How dare she humiliate him badly. Hotaru looks at him not intimidated by his glare in fact she crossed her arms "You'll never get the blueprints. This stolen object is only for the US military or police personal. Never meant for evil!"
Miror B now warns her "While this mission is a failure. Whatever weapon anyone is developing Cipher wants for their own good! Mark my words, I'll withdraw but-" he grinned evilly "Have fun facing Queen Venomica and this Lord Megatron of the Decepticons. There's no way you can beat both of them."
He then ran off amazingly able to get away from the police leaving Hotaru behind. Hotaru put her hand underneath her chin thoughtfully Nor will I have to Miror B.
She then reaches Abbey "Miss Abbey, Cipher's been routed, I don't think they have the numbers to unleash a new assault. Team Hotarumon 14 is leaving to get that device back."
Abbey's response to this was "Alright, thanks for repelling them and good luck!"
Hotaru with her friends exit the building just in time was the armed guards and military police arrived. They enter to see several Cipher Pions unconscious with half of their numbers also in silky cocoons. Ashley, Darnel, Hotaru, and Ziva find Windchaser ready for them. The Autobot asks them "Did you get what you are looking for?"
"We did" Hotaru answered her "We got the blueprints from Abbey. Now Windchaser let's get out of here before we have to explain things to the police."
"Right!"
Windchaser with her passengers takes off. While driving off Hotaru was already thinking of the next part of the plan. This foiled attack she knew was a delaying tactic. She eyes her friends "Ashley, Darnel and Ziva thanks to you all we repelled that attack. Yet that was only a delaying tactic."
"Of course it was" Darnel admitted sadly.
"Queen Venomica will be leading Cipher's efforts" Hotaru told her friends and pet "We're going to have to think smart once again. However Windchaser...Dial up Director Vance, I'd like to report what our progress is."
"Of course!" the Autobot said then proceeded to do so.
There were three long rings but eventually Director Vance's voice came over the entire car "Director Vance here."
"Hey Director" Hotaru replied "It's me."
"Oh, hey Hotaru" the Director said "How'd your visit to that second facility go?"
"It went well" Hotaru answered "We got a lot of answers onto what we are looking for sir. Plus we did a number to Cipher. Not sure how many we got but we repelled a Cipher attack."
At NCIS the director actually smiled "Good job. So what is your next step Miss. Hatsumi."
"Getting back that device from the Decepticons!"
"That a girl!" Director Vance encouraged her.
"This will require a good plan sir" Hotaru admitted "They'll most likely have this Megatron whom leads the Decepticons, Queen Venominca will be leading Cipher's efforts in this upcoming battle."
"She'd be that Naga Succubus Queen that Gibbs told me in his report that one time?"
"The same one sir" Hotaru confirmed "She won't be easy to out think as I was able to do with Miror B."
"Plus having to deal with a Shadow Pokemon this time" Darnel added on.
"Will you require assistance?" Director Vance asked.
"When I've come up with a sensible plan for this, I would like additional assistance from all parties. I can handle whatever Shadow Pokemon Erdos gave Queen Venomica. Queen Venomica I should be able to handle too."
"Gotcha" Director Vance said "Once you've came up with a plan notify me or Gibbs or both of us and we'll be ready to pitch in."
"Will do" Hotaru said.
She and the Director hung up with Hotaru planning for her next move.
Ashley looks at Hotaru "So what is going to be our next move?"
Hotaru looks at her two friends and her pet Ziva "This will take sometime...Windchaser where do these Deceptions call home or their base?"
Windchaser answered "That will be their warship The Nemesis! It's most likely going to be the place that device is."
"I don't suppose you have any info in the inside of the Nemesis to help me and Darnel think of a plan?"
If Windchaser was in her robot form the Autobot would've gave them a smirk "Most Autobots don't have that type of Intel on the Nemesis however I may have the schematics mostly cause of a specialized scanner I was given that is able to scan any type of ship way before the war for Cybertron ever began."
"Interesting!" Ashley said "Care to bring those up?"
"Here it comes!" Windchaser replied bringing up the schematics of the inside of the Nemesis "Just to warn you that Warship is fully crewed. If he's not outside The Nemesis taking on Optimus Prime or my fellow Autobots Megatron will be in there. He's not to be taken lightly...Outside of Optimus Prime no Autobot can go up against Megatron and defeat him. Heck most Autobots whom try while they try to defeat him most of them perish. He was once a Gladiator of Kadon after all."
"Megatron won't be the only Decepticon they have though" Darnel said.
"Correct" Windchaser confirmed "There will be at least four others that I can recall Megatron keeps around, one is Starscream his second-in-command, there is Soundwave possibly the second threatening Decepticon outside of Megatron as he can bring out Ground Bridges on a whim...Arcee told me she got caught in one when she tried to find Optimus on the Nemesis. Then finally there is Shockwave, Megatron's mad scientist! Lots of Autobots if they were captured by Shockwave end up being terminated due to his experiments."
"Plus it will be crawling with Decepticon soldiers" Darnel conversed with Hotaru "It won't be easy to get in there and search for what we want even with Windchaser helping us."
Hotaru was studying the scene with Ashley looking worried. Sure her teacher would have no problems with these four Decepticons but while she had gotten stronger she was unsure if she'd be able to deal with several dangerous Decepticons "Are any of these Decepticons easy to deal with?"
"I'd say Starscream" Windchaser replied "Even though he's Megatron's second-in-command...Most Autobots can beat him one-on-one in hand-to-hand combat. He's only a threat when he believes he's got the numbers...Yeah he's a cowardly type of second-in-command. The other nameless Decepticon soldiers Megatron has shouldn't be too hard in theory."
Hotaru with Darnel's help was looking through the schematics of the inside of their enemy's warship. Ashley watches trying to help as Hotaru knew that once on The Nemesis the group would have very little time to search around. Hotaru looks at Darnel and as if he thought the same thing as she did both gave out a nod. Hotaru gave out the order "Windchaser see if you can find out where the Nemesis is and get about a safe distance away from it. I believe Darnel and I have a plan but we'll need a bit more time to think on it."
"Got it!" Windchaser replied driving off quickly.
Ashley turned to Darnel and Hotaru "What is the plan?"
"If Hotaru and I are on the same page" Darnel said "It'll need a bit more thought. We'll be conversing with each other as Windchaser gets close to The Nemesis. Once we get within a safe distance then we'll reveal the plan."
Ashley gave the two a nod trusting them. Ziva put a paw on Ashley's shoulder "I trust the Mistress and Darnel. That last plan worked out so well! Then again it was against a poorly thought out Cipher plan of trying to get those blueprints but still…"
Ashley saw Ziva's point nodding "I trust them too."
Windchaser continued her quick journey wondering what plan Darnel and Hotaru would come up with.

I originally was going to make this a one chapter based episode but reasoned that it should be two. I know there wasn't much of an action scene with Hotaru but it works! Next chapter is Episode 39: Recovery Mission P2: In order to reclaim the stolen device Hotaru with Darnel's help on the plan puts it into action but will splitting up her team work? Or will the combined enemy forces of the Decepticons, Queen Venomica her Shadow Pokemon, and Cipher be too much for them to handle?
