I hope it hasn't been too long. Here is the next chapter. I love all the ideas that have been sent over in terms of character roles. I especially loved the one for Benji. In the meantime, enjoy.

Fallen Stars Part Two:

Castor overlooked his riders, preparing their dragons and finishing off their swords. He marched down the eye watching Claudia and Terry exchanging kisses and the latter growing flowers. "Oh, Ter-bear," she shouldn't have. She blushed.

Terry jumped to a loud cough. "Excuse me, I apologise for this interruption,". Castor said. "But we have pressing matters at hand Claudia. We must reclaim your father's staff that is being kept in the Storm Spire,".

"At once Castor," Claudia agreed. "But won't the Dragon Queen and the Sky Patrbeing guarding it?".

"Oh, they will. But my riders have brought word that your home is hosting a celebration and the Dragon Queen and her son are their honoured guests. By sunrise today, they will be leaving with only a quarter of their calvary. The rest we can easily deal with, with our own riders,".

"That's perfect," Claudia praised.

"You have come a long way Claudia. You remind me so much of myself and my brothers when we were your age and Aaravos taught us everything,". His smile faltered when he saw Claudia's head hung. "What is wrong, my dear? Are you thinking of Soren?".

"Yes. I just wish he hadn't left me like that. Just like my mother did. Then he betrayed our father for Caroline,".

"I know exactly how you feel," Castor gently pushed past Terry and clasped her shoulder. "I too know what it feels like to be betrayed by a brother let alone two,".

"There were six of you?" Claudia breathed.

"Yes," he nodded. "Caldor and the youngest betrayed us and Aaravos and defected our Cult,".

"What happened to the other brother?".

"He died many years ago but that is in the past. The only thing that matters to me is releasing the Startouch elf, who raised us, from his prison. And we must be prepared for our enemies will learn of our motives sooner or later,".

On that same morning, the party were getting ready to leave. "I sure hope I can meet your aunt one day," Ellis wished.

"One day you will," Willow promised, giving Ava a good scratch. "Speaking of which has anyone seen Carol anywhere?".

"No," Caldor said.

"Oh, I know what she's doing," Soren said, poking his head. "She's having a quick morning flight,".

"But we're about to take off," Ezran pointed out.

"Wo hoo!" Carol loop-ta-looped around the air with Ghost following him. "Told you we'd be doing it again,". Ghost licked her face playfully. "We'd better head back,". They started flying in the opposite direction.

Miles and miles below, a calvary of green-cloaked elves saw the human with wings. Their leader peered up and saw her. His eyes narrowed.

Carol landed gracefully near the lake and decided to rest with Ghost on her lap. "I'm so excited to be seeing Felix again too. You?".

Absolutely. Ghost licked her face and then dived into the water for a quick swim. She pulled out her sketchbook from her knapsack and started doodling him. Then she turned to another page and doodled herself and her family. She touched their faces. "I miss you Dad. I wish you could see everything we've done,".

"See you're enjoying yourself in your doodles," Caldor climbed up to sit beside her. "Sleep well?".

"Very much Caldor thanks. I hope you did too,".

"Not really to be honest. So many things going on in my mind,".

"Mine too,".

"Like the promise you made to Ethari?".

"Yep. But it's not just that,".

"You know you can tell me anything,"

"I know. I was thinking about my birth father. I want to ask Amaya who he was but I'm afraid she still won't tell me. But today is gonna be about her and Janai,". She flipped to another page and showed her close friend: the said human and elf. "I just knew they were meant for each other when I saw them together for the first time,".

"Well, I couldn't be any happier for your aunt,".

"I wish Mum was here. She would have loved Janai,". She slipped down the rock and went to get Ghost, not realising Caldor had drifted off into deep thought.

(Over Twelve Years Ago)

Sarai was at Caldor's door on a rainy day. She was dressed up well for her mission with her husband and the queens of Duren. "When the time is right, give this to her,". She gave him a giant round object wrapped in thick velvet. In his gentle fingers, he could feel the sizzle of lightning zapping softly through his veins.

"Sarai…".

"I'm entrusting it to you,".

"You know she cannot be given this,".

"It's who she's meant to be. You know one day they will come for her. And teaching magic is the only way to truly protect her. I must believe in that as he did,".

Caldor pursed his lips. "Very well. When the time is right I will. I will guard her with my life if I have to. But one day Sarai, she must know everything,".

(Present Day)

Pyrrah's saddle was strapped up again and her five passengers including Ethari mounted her at once. "She ceases to amaze me with her strength," Soren patted her side and she cooed.

"Are you sure you can carry Bait on your back?" Ezran asked.

"It'll be fine," she assured. Bait was riding in her knapsack. "See he loves it. Manus. Pluma. Volantis!" she formed her wings.

"Travel safe," Lujanne bid.

"See you soon," waved Ellis. Ava barked.

Before the dragons, the mage and the swan could even take flight, Phoe-Phoe's screeches made their hearts jump. Her mount landed and Ezran translated: "Elves are approaching this mountain. Moonshadow ones,".

"Oh god," Lujanne breathed. "It must be Lord Moono,".

Carol froze. "How? Why would he cross the barrier?".

"He must have known I'd hide here," Ethari panicked.

"You must go now," Lujanne ushered.

"No. We can't leave you here," Carol refused.

"Go!" she ordered.

Reluctantly the fliers took off and Lujanne cast a spell turning them into clouds before they disappeared into the sky. "I will hide you all," she waved her hands again and Ava and Ellis turned into rocks, and Allen to a tree.

In the Storm Spire, Zym was pulling off another of his stubborn mood swings again. "No! I don't want them!".

"Zym come on!" Yonas complained his fish-bat shrieking and flapping his wings in an angry tantrum. "You're making this so hard! You need the vitamins a dragon prince needs to grow up,".

Loud chomping turned his head and he saw the three little fluffy balls of blue, yellow and pink nibbling on Zym's meal. "Oy, that's not your food! Shoo!".

His pet scarred the little Adoraburrs to Zym's paws and he roared making it hide behind his book. "Let them have food. They're hungry,"

"True as it may be, this is your food. Now eat up,"

Ibis approached and huffed when he saw a pile of vegetables near a huffy dragon who lay down like a naughty dog. "Not a single piece?".

"Ibis, I've tried everything. I don't get why Carol can feed him but I can't,".

"It's because she's patient with me," Zym grumbled.

"I tried to be patient with you,".

"Also, I only did so she would be happy,".

"Then do the same for me,".

"No!"

"Just look at me, an apprentice to one of the greatest Sky Mages in history stuck trying to feed a stubborn dragonling,". Yonas stamped his feet.

"Here let's try this," Ibis waved his staff. Air currents made an aubergine fly in circles. Zym wouldn't lose his focus. "There we can. Now let's make this fly into your…"

Zap! The vegetable was singed. "Bullseye!" Zym barked happily.

Ibis and Yonas couldn't help but smile. Rumble! Rumble! The cave shook and dust rained on their heads. "Please Zym!" Yonas begged. "Your mother will be mad at you and she'll be furious with me,". The shadow loomed over them.

Quickly Ibis waved his staff and air currents carried the vegetables out of the room in a flash. Zubeia the dragon queen stood over them. "Zym, did you finish your dinner?".

Zym was nervous. He didn't like lying. But he didn't like her being mad. "Every last piece," Yonas lied for him.

"Wonderful. Thank Yonas and Ibis. I'm sure High Mage Caroline, King Ezran and Lady Willow eat their vegetables too,".

"Of course they do," Zym said. "I got a lot of that from them,".

"Splendid. We have a big journey ahead of us,".

"I'm so excited!" Zym cheered. "I can't wait to see Katolis!".

"Neither can I son. I do wish your father were here to see how you helped bring peace to their world,". Zym hung his head and her smile dropped. "What is wrong, son?".

"Mum, I know you don't wanna hear this but I know of the great wrong he did to my friends. He killed their mother,".

"As much as he was acting out of good intentions to protect Xadia, there are things I know he should have done differently," Zubeia accepted. "But we must not dwell on the past. The children do not hate us for his crimes so we should no longer think about that. Remember this, my son. He loved you more than you will ever know from the moment you were born as an egg,".

"I know," Zym nuzzled her face and the Skywing elves smiled.

The party flew over the mountains to reach the Sunfire Empire. "I hope Lujanne will be okay," Carol prayed.

"Me too," Ethari said.

"No of you are not to blame," Soren comforted. "If she gets into trouble, we'll call on the Dragon Queen,".

"We tell Zubeia once she comes over," Willow said. "Moono has to pay for his actions,".

We're here! Serena's resounding honks disturbed the agitation and they saw a pitch-black ball with a fiery outline in the distance standing over a golden city that was once stood in glory. Not far away were ruins of an ancient settlement and among them was a site of tents.

Lujanne and Phoe-Phoe awaited the arrival of the Moonshadow Elves in front of the palace. Allen, Ellis and Ava stayed extremely still on her request. She watched as Lord Moono upon his Moonstrider approached her with ten lethal assassins by his side. He wore armour and carried his staff with the crescent moon. "Lujanne," he greeted casually. "It has been some time,".

"It has indeed Lord Moono," she disguised her anxiety pretty well.

Moono wondered at the palace, seeing the caldera lake in the distance. "There was a time when our people would travel between life and death to see their loved ones,".

"That was a long time ago," Lujanne said.

"You have done quite well guarding this sacred place,". Moono noticed his mount was growling at rocks and a tree. He whistled but it wouldn't stop barking. He whistled louder and the mount stood back.

"Seems your mount caught a whiff of something," Lujanne remarked.

"Yes, she has,".

"What brings you here, Lord Moono?".

He towered over her. Phoe-Phoe screeched gently. "I've heard rumours you've had humans visit this site. I am assuming this is a lie after all,".

"Of course. You know rumours can never be the real truth," Lujanne remained as calm as she could master.

"As you are well aware, my people and I are hunting a traitor. A traitor who betrayed us for some lowly human,".

"In case you have forgotten Lord Moono, the Dragon Queen declared peace herself when her son: Prince Azymondius was returned to her. By humans. And have there not been rumours, that you tried to take the Dragon Prince by force when a human princess had been delivering it safely through Xadia with another of your own?".

Moono pointed his weapon at her throat and she felt the top of the silver crescent moon touching her chin. She remained calm and urged Phoe-Phoe to do the same too. "You do well to remember who you're speaking to. I don't need moon magic to know that you have been harbouring Ethari here,".

"Well as you can see he is not here. He left ages ago before I could even turn him into you,".

"We'll see about that," Lord Moono whistled and his soldiers looked up to him. "Search the entire caldera and use magic if you have to,". Lujanne watched worriedly as the men got to work. "You're to stay right where you are," the Moon elf king commanded.

"As you wish," Lujanne sat down and her Moon Phoenix stayed where she was too.

Inside the royal tent, elves and humans were gathering around the women and Sun foxes wearing flowers. "I am so happy for you both. You'll be the world's most formidable couple," Gren, wearing flowers as well, imprisoned them in a big squeezy hug in his armoured arms. The couple laughed.

"A big congratulations to you my queen," Warveth, with another elf with wavy hair and amber eyes holding him by his arm, approached them. His hair had grown slighter longer over the years and his chin was covered in bristles. "And to you General Amaya. I couldn't be any happier for you both. I always had this feeling there was a spark between you and now it will shine brighter than ever,".

Thank you. Amaya signed. Did you send the letter to Katolis?

"He did indeed," the she-elf holding the Sun Mage's arm answered for him.

"That is right Miyana,". He pecked her cheek. Felix barked and wagged his tail. Amaya stroked him.

"Well sister," Karim announced himself. "It can finally be said. You have met your match, what a beautiful couple,".

Thank you, Prince Karim. Now that you'll officially be my little brother, I'll try not to beat you up too much.

Janai giggled and so did Warveth. "She got you there, Karim," he joked. The prince laughed as long with him. "I am certain our special guests will be arriving soon. Allow me to await them,". He bowed before his queen. "Enjoy the party, everyone," he pecked Miyana's cheek again and walked outside.

"Why don't you go with him?" Janai asked Felix. He barked and bounded after the mage.

Amaya playfully shoved Gren and walked away with him whilst Miyana went to talk with some other elves. Rakasa barked and Janai stroked her too but she noticed something was on her brother's mind. "Something's on your mind,".

"No. I'm good,".

"Tell me. I'm not tickling the truth out of you if I have to," she joked. She noticed Karim was casting a sorrowful face at her fiancée and her translator.

"I have concerns," he whispered. "Not here," he walked out of the tent and Janai decided to follow. Rakasa tried to follow too but she stopped her, silently ordering her to stay with Amaya.

Elves and humans stumbled back giving space for Pyrrah and Caroline to land gracefully on their feet. And the moment he saw his person, Felix barked for joy.

"Felix!" Carol's arms caught the jumping fox and he licked her face. "Oh buddy! I've missed you so much,".

I've missed you. He licked her again until Whoosh!

Ghost pinned him to the ground and they playfully wrestled. "They sure are happy to see each other," smiled Soren.

"It's so good to see you boy," Willow stroked the enthusiastic fox and so did her brother and their friends.

"Welcome beloved friends," Warveth greeted.

"It's so good to see you Warveth," Caroline was the first to embrace him.

"You too High Mage. How is my former pupil doing with her sun magic?".

"Very well in fact. I'm not causing anything to burn by accident this time,".

"Good. Your aunt and the queen are awaiting you in these tents," Carol laughed with her tutor.

"It is so good to have you all here!" Janai approached them with an ecstatic smile before embracing Caroline. Karim was behind her, his eyes expressing a serious frown. Warveth noticed but didn't say anything.

"We are so happy for you and Aunt Amaya!" Ezran exclaimed joyfully rushing over to give her an awkward hug.

"Welcome to the family, Auntie," Willow cheered.

"We're not married yet," Janai reminded.

"Doesn't mean we shouldn't call you it,".

I am so happy you're here. Amaya approached the group and Carol hugged her tightly only to receive a tighter hug back.

"Children…" Karim greeted. "And…your Majesty," he bowed before Ezran.

"Please Prince Karim, no need to bow," Ezran gently said. "We're all family here after all,".

"My sister and your aunt are indeed a beautiful couple about to be wed. And I see you've brought the Moonshadow elf archer with you,".

"It was time for Ethari to get out," Soren said.

"And we are so glad you guys could join us too," Janai led them through the camp where they saw humans helping the Sunfire elves organise their tents and other temporary stations including stables and food stalls.

"Are the people doing well?" Ethari asked.

"They are," said the queen.

"You gotta admit it's a lovely…camp kingdom. Is that okay for me to say?" Soren asked awkwardly.

"Absolutely dear friend," the queen assured. Walking behind him, however, Karim frowned. Warveth saw him and glared him down. They came back to the royal tent and the children unloaded precious cargo from Pyrrah's.

"We've brought you gifts,". Willow said. Each of the children presented the couple with a present wrapped in golden ribbon and they were taken away at once. They were led inside the grand tent with Soren, Ethari and Caldor and were adorned with flowers.

"Hello Fox family," Carol stroked Rakasa and the mother fox licked her face. "I'm so glad you guys and Felix pulled on an exceptional proposal show with the queen,".

I thought the fire dancers were attacking me at first. Amaya confessed.

"What?" Carol asked, half amused, half shocked.

Whilst she was talking with her brother and Janai, Willow's eyes caught the sight of a piece of artwork smeared in raging fire colours, hanging on the wall. Red flaming hair like Janai's was tied in three plaits, the wearer was donned in golden armour like her too and she carried a sun sceptre. "Who is she?".

Janai and Ezran were interrupted by her sudden question and the queen gazed longingly at the female elf whom she resembled. "That is my great-grandmother Queen Aditi. She disappeared before I was born. But I always admired her – for her kindness and generosity,".

Ezran noticed something was off about Willow, the way she looked at the painting with wide eyes. "She is beautiful indeed," he pulled her away, snapping her out of her trance. "I'm certain if she were alive she would have been happy for you and Aunt Amaya,".

Felix and Ghost played together with his siblings. "I hope you guys don't mind Felix coming back with me to Katolis for a while," Carol requested.

Of course. Rakasa barked. You're his family too.

"And Zym is coming," the Mage added excitedly.

Really? Her fox jumped around for joy.

"He sure is," Ezran said excitedly. "And the Dragon Queen. We've got so much planned. The kingdoms are a little apprehensive about it though,".

"Everything will work out," Caldor promised.

"And I've made a gift for her," Carol said. "Been working on it for a long while. With magic of course,".

"Well, I look forward to it," her brother smiled.

"Amaya, might I talk to you for a second?" Caldor requested. Amaya nodded and they walked off to a corner.

"Could I talk to you Warveth?" Carol asked. "If you don't mind,".

"Of course," Warveth led his pupil outside where Pyrrah was drinking from a trough. Carol scratched her chin.

"I know this isn't a good time to ask you but it's very important. In Katolis, I found this looking glass with strange symbols in…Viren's secret chambers. And I know that I saw a vision of it with moon magic inside the Storm Spire,".

"High Mage, if this is dark magic you mustn't be tampering with it,".

"Please Warveth. Viren took that looking glass from the Dragon King and Queen for a reason. Ethari's husband: Runaan was interrogated about it and I made a promise to him that I would find out what happened to him. Knowing what this looking glass actually is by decoding its symbols, is the only way I'll ever find out,".

"I don't doubt this all comes from your friendship with Ethari but I cannot help you with this,".

"Please Warveth…I need to know so that I can repay my friend for saving me from his kind,".

"Very well. I will offer my help but only on one condition. You return this looking glass to the Dragon Queen when she comes to Katolis,".

"You have my word,".

The Sun Mage guided her towards his tent nearby. They walked inside his residence and he pulled a special book from a chest. "Take this book. It is a Tome of Translations," Warveth instructed. "There are symbols in it. And this.." he opened past the book's first half to reveal empty pages.

"They're empty,".

"They're empty for you to write on. When you write the symbols on one side, the other side will magically inscribe them and the true message will show,".

"Thank you Warveth. I'll take good care of it,".

That's another chapter done. I hope you all enjoyed it. Oh dear, so it looks like Lujanne is in great trouble with Lord Moono. What will this mean for Ethari? We'll have to wait and find out what happens. Just need a bit of help with something in the next chapter. Should I have Raylan return at the end of this episode like in the series or shall I have him appear during (warning spoiler alert) an attack at the festival during King Ezran's speech? Please send more ideas for this. Once again thank you so much for all your support and help. See you soon.
