"Tvs, Radios, and Text via book or newspaper... when those are around..."

"Damn it Sona!" Rias quietly hisses. "What is it?"

"Look!" She holds out her book causing Rias to blink twice.

Book on Hellfire Magic:
Teaches the intricacies of Hellfire and its differences over normal fire. Evolving your fire magic with the teachings in this book should be possible.

The game's description of the book isn't what draws her attention... it's the sticky note on the front.

"If you really think about it... the book itself isn't required... at least Physically. Merely the knowledge is needed to evolve your fire magic. I wonder what would happen if you recorded each and every page of this book?"

"Wait." Rias whispers. "Then- if- if you were to do that... if you were to learn a magic on one character... and TRULY learn it... could you use it with a new character?!"

"I assume that some magics have prerequisites... like this one has a fire magic prerequisite."

"Hoooow much money did we get from the raid?" Rias questions slowly.

"I received roughly three quarters of a million jewel." Sona notes.

"I got a little under a million." Rias mutters under her breath. "So... if we were to say for instance... use this money to buy books, then record them with the video recording software so we can read them at a later date..."

Sona's eyes glint slightly. "We could study the magic of this game to get a head start on the leadup to the official release. He said that the knowledge is required. Not the books, so reasonably if we truly know the books and their teachings by the time the game is released... we won't need to buy these books in the future."

The two quickly make their way to the shop, managing to make it before anyone else as a lot of them are still respawning.

But judging by the street, a lot of people are on the way.

"What books on magic do you have?" Sona demands as the crowd grows closer.

"Ah." The shopkeeper smiles. "I have books on the basic elemental magics, Fire, Wind, Water and Earth and those are my cheapest and easiest to learn, then I have lightning, wood, and shadow for some of my more expensive options..."

"Do you have archive?!" Rias questions.

"Oooh that one's quite rare. I only have one in stock for three million Jewel."

"What about Requip?" The redhead continues.

"Aaaah I have a few of those... a million jewel for that." The kind old man states.

Rias turns to her white haired companion. "We need to get that."

"Alright, Alright." Sona mutters. "How much for fire magic?"

"Half a million jewel."

"Here you are, then. One point five million Jewel." The two girls hand over their money, grab their books, then quickly get out of dodge before the store gets too full.

"I have enough money to rent a room at the inn." Sona decides, planning to get out of the watchful eye of everyone nearby.

The two girls take a seat on the bed of the inn, silently plotting.

"Alright." Sona mutters under her breath. "How much time do you have?"

"I have a little over an hour and thirty minutes." Rias replies.

"I see. I have just under three hours." Sona nods along. "With this time, we should quickly flip through these books. Reading it isn't the goal, we'll do that later, just making sure each and every page is captured in a legible manner."

"That's right." Rias notes. "You should do the hellfire book first. If push comes to shove, and we can't finish a book, out of them all THAT is the one it cannot be."

"I agree." Sona states. "I will start on it while you begin recording the Requip magic. I'll send you the video file after I'm done."

"I'll do the same with you. OH! And before I log out I REALLY want to try my new staff... it's got spells on it! Hellfire spells! It could give us ideas on how to use the magic once we learn it!" Rias beams, pumping her fist.

"Smart." Sona mutters, giving the staff a thoughtful look. "Before you log out, can you leave that for me?"

"Of course!" Rias grins. "Now! Let's get to it before I reach the time limit!"

I step out of the pod, a groan leaving my mouth.

"That went well." I smile.

"Oh yeah?" Mittet asks "Who were the top ten? I'm still a good two hours behind."

"Artoria Pendragon, Rias Gremory, Sona Sitri, Serafall Leviathan, Milim Gremory, Bennia Orcus- she's some random Grimm Reaper chick, by the way- Shizuka Hanekura a seemingly normal human, Kazuto Kirigaya also a normal human, Remilia Scarlet a vampire from Transylvania, and finally the pop idol Hatsune Miku."

"..."

"A vampire placed below two mundane humans?" She slowly asks.

"She didn't look pleased at being ninth place." I nod slowly.

"I guess what they say about vampires was right." The girl mutters.

"..."

"They suck." She finishes allowing a beat of silence to echo out before she turns and looks at me, a smug smile on her face like she's just BEGGING to be praised for her masterclass joke.

A long weary sigh leaves my lips as I place my head in my hands.

"I'm going to work on a 'war with the wyvern' long play to upload onto the internet." I announce with a muted 'dead inside' tone.

I let out a quiet snort. Now feeling like I've held it in long enough for it to make it not seem like I'm laughing at her joke. "Love you, Mil... even if I have to bring all the humor to the relationship."

"Fuck you. That joke was funny."

"Yeah... and so was my shrimp fried rice one."

"Yeah..." She quietly admits, looking away with a small blush.

I find myself smiling at her flustered face. "you're soooo adorable when you're a blushing virgin angel!"

She looks over, raising an eyebrow at me. "Blushing? Maybe. Virgin? I think the fuck not... not after all YOU did to me."

"You make it sound like I'm an irredeemable monster that goes around popping the cherries of angels or something." I groan, body wilting slightly.

"W-Well you are! Look at me! You fucked all the sin out of me!" She exclaims while pointing to the halo atop her head.

She lets out a small sigh, a smile on her lips as she gazes back at the computer. "But... despite that... it's like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. While you've been in game, I've been thinking and just... wow."

Her eyes stray to the ceiling as she leans back in her chair. "There's really nothing that can explain what I've been experiencing... the closest I could compare it to would be if someone with some sort of color blindness gets it cured... or someone with ADHD suddenly losing that."

"I never knew how bad I had it... until it was taken away." She whispers. "Though- I-I mean... it's not like it was BAD bad. I-I-I know people out there have it worse than me, I mean just look at roughly eighty percent of devil peerages. It's just... I don't know how much my thoughts were being influenced by my sin... or rather, my father's sin."

"I'm glad you're taking it well, then." I smile as I walk over to a nearby desk and take a seat. "I'll get started on that gameplay trailer."

"Okay! Let me know if you need any help!" Mittelt beams.

I lay on the couch, my head in Mittelt's lap as I gaze up at a screen hovering in front of my face. She slowly brushes her hand across the top of my head, a content smile on her face.

"Should I send it?" I question slowly.

"I... yes." Mittelt nods after a quiet moment of contemplation. "Yes. I want to be able to speak with her freely."

"You should also tell your dad." I point out, causing her to flinch slightly and let out a weary sigh.

"Yeah. I should... I just don't know how he'd react. Maybe call me in to collect a few magic scans? I just... I really don't feel like doing that... it feels like a waste of a day. We could be doing so much... going on our FIRST date... or maybe just walk through the park?"

"Holding hands?" I suggest.

"That's some lewd shit right there. I don't know if I'm ready for that step in our relationship." She huffs with a dry tone.

"We did kind of jump the gun on a few things, didn't we... dated for a day before we hopped in a bed together." I note with an amused smile. "If you really think about it... like one third of the time we've been dating has been us having sex... that's kind of impressive."

"We've basically been dating for years at this point." The girl waves off. "We just never acknowledged it officially."

"You think Gabriel will be preachy about us not being married yet still being sexually active?" I ask with a small wince.

"I don't know... But I don't doubt some of the angels will." She seems to be in equal amount of discomfort at the thought.

"Welp. Sending it."

I press the confirm button. "Hey. This is Suzutsu. The wings are white and she's got a halo. What now?"

"I think I'll also send something to your dad."

"Suzutsu..." She whines.

"Yeah... you're right..." I mutter. "You do it."

"Mnnnnnn." She groans as I sit up, pulling her close as she continues to pout.

"He deserves to know."

"I knoooow I just-" she lets out a single huff. "You're right. I'll tell him. I just don't know how to break the news to him?"

"Just drop a simple 'B-t-w, Fallen angels can become pure angels again'. Then refuse to elaborate?"

"..."

"Fuck it." She decides and does exactly what I suggested.

We sit in silence, basking in each other's presence.

*Ping*

There's silence for a good thirty seconds.

*Ping*
*Ping*
*Ping*
*Ping*

My watch also pings, causing me to glance down.

"Suzutsu. WHAT. DID. SHE. MEAN?" - Azazel

"Angels can un-fall." I send with an amused smirk.

"What the FUCK?!" - Azazel

"So. Mittelt is a pure angel now?" - Azazel

"Yep." I reply.

"Are you two going to leave the Grigori?" - Azazel

"Well, I mean, we technically already left, right? We're retired. Keep us as independent contractors." I shoot back before sending another message. "Met Gabriel BTW. She told me to remove the curse I placed on one of the exorcists that turned her into a 7 year old."

"You turned an exorcist into a seven year old?" - Azazel

"She acted like a brat, called Mittelt a whore, so I turned her into a brat. She's lucky I didn't spank her." I explain. "Also. Gabriel was excited to meet her niece. Even more so once she heard that she'd become a pure angel. Oh. And I'm fucking your daughter."

"You TOLD him?!" Mittelt shrieks.

"I want to see if he'll try and kill me." I grin slightly.

"..." - Azazel.

"Can I contract you two to get me a picture of Gabriel naked." - Azazel.

Mittelt and I stare at the screen with a half-lidded stare.

"Haaaah." Mittelt sighs. "Damn it dad."

"Fucking... Called it." I agree.

Mittelt quickly taps away at the screen sending him a message from my own watch, eyebrow twitching as she 'pretends' to be me. "Nothing? Seriously? I took your daughter's chastity, and you just don't care?!"

"Oh! Hello Mittelt! You're a big girl. I trust you. Plus, if domain of magic's magic can exist in real life I know I'm fucked. Who knows what he has bouncing around in that scary fucking brain of his. Just tell me if he breaks your heart. Then I'll kill him." - Azazel.

He somehow saw through the text in an instant.

"You don't have to worry about that. I'd sooner fight Great Red than hurt her like that... I'll settle for making her question reality by calling her an incest child." She had begun slapping my arm with a growl as I was typing that, reaching out to try and delete the message, but I quickly finish it and send it off causing her growl to intensify.

"I mean... technically you have a point there. But incest's hot. Soooo about that picture." - Azazel.

"No. Fuck off." Mittelt growls.

"Mittelt says 'No. Fuck off'." I reply.

"Shame." - Azazel.

I turn off the watch, settling down again. A smile rests on my lips as I allow my eyes to drift shut.

"One of these days... I'm going to get you." The blonde threatens.

"Heh." I huff. "Okay."

"It is unnatural!" A voice calls out.

"How can you say that?!" A woman with long silky blonde hair exclaims. "This poor child. Our NIECE painfully and slowly crawled her way out of sin! She ascended. I have seen her wings. Her halo! LOOK!"

An image is projected from her phone with magic. "This poor child, has risen. She ascended! She proved that falling ISN'T the end! That it's possible to be redeemed! She committed no crime and yet you paint her with the same brush as those who murdered, pillaged and raped in the great war! Do you hear yourselves?! Do our father's morals and wisdoms mean nothing?!"

"Is she, a pure angel, supposed to live her life abandoned? Alone? Cast out by not only the fallen but by us as well?!"

The man towards the head of the table lets out a long sigh. He has soft features, twelve large golden wings behind his back. "Gabriel... not even the miracle children are allowed into heaven."

"AND WHY NOT?!" The woman exclaims, her palms slamming on the table. her anger carefully tempered and restrained with almost a dissociative calm. "That isn't right either! How can we say that we embody morality and virtue if we REFUSE to allow our kin to see the pearly gates?! Because, what? They do not know how to control their emotions?! That it's possible that their introduction might cause unrest?! How will they learn to rein in destructive emotions and how to live without sin if we refuse to teach them?!"

Her eyes narrow slightly. "Father would be disappointed in us."

Some of the angels seem saddened by that statement, a small part of themselves agreeing with her, others are incensed with her salting the wound of the loss of their father. Others feel melancholic but resolute.

"Gabriel... these two created the... game system, correct? The one that makes it as if you are taken into an entirely new dimension." Michael begins quietly. "Who's to say that this isn't just a trick? That she has truly become a pure angel? How could we tell?"

"Through meeting her face to face, obviously!" Gabriel beams. "But I trust fully that they are telling the truth!"

Another man speaks up "They made something impossible, so who's to say that they haven't made something capable of tricking any of us?"

"If they've made something impossible, who's to say that she hasn't DONE the impossible!" Gabriel shoots back.

"How many wings did she have?" Michael slowly asks.

"Six."

"That is... not bad." The man notes. "I assume that she hasn't had many opportunities to grow while making this... game thing... if you want to meet with her, very well. I will trust your judgement. But. Kuoh town is dangerous."

"I am aware of who lives there." The woman pouts. "I didn't plan on meeting them there. I was going to ask if they could meet me sometime in Italy."

"I don't know if this is a good idea." Mittelt slowly mutters under her breath.

"Fairy Law."

"What if- I mean- the church is REALLY corrupt. What if they try something?" The blonde continues.

"Fairy Law."

"W-What if there's something wrong with my wings or halo?!"

"Fairy Law."

"YOU CAN'T SOLVE EVERYTHING WITH A MAGICAL NUKE, SUZUTSU!" The girl growls.

"Sure you can." I shrug. "I don't want to. But if a targeted 'fuck this faction' attack doesn't make any potential attackers very dead, I just didn't use enough mana."

I quickly kiss her forehead. "You're overthinking this. It'll be okay... I'm here."

She pouts at me, then lets out a long sigh before relenting. "Let's go."

A swirling vortex made of water appears next to me as I step through, Mittelt following after me.

The Aqua Aera slowly closes behind us, leaving us in a back alleyway.

"Well... shall we?" I question as I offer a hand to the girl which she takes.

Our magical auras are suppressed as we walk out of the alley. The girl hugs my arm as we turn and walk in the direction I feel a restrained but undoubtedly pure aura.

"You know... this is my first time outside of Japan... if you don't include the underworld."

"M-Mine too." The girl whispers, a small smile on her lips.

We come to a stop, just in front of us, a barrier sits at the edge of a large plaza.

It's like an invisible dome surrounds a large stone building in the distance.

I reach out, swiping my hand through the air briefly, then wait a few moments...

Then I step through and continue walking.

It's less a 'barrier' and more a... 'detection' ward.

I can feel a set of eyes on us. Several in fact.

But... Mittelt is an angel. The wards can tell that much. So. Nobody should have anything to say to us. And if they do?

Fairy Law.

I really want to use Fairy Law.

We approach the doors. I can see a man in robes sat by the door.

His robes hide it, but he has a considerable amount of tightly packed muscle on him. An exorcist laser sword is concealed in his sleeve. There's a light gun strapped to his boot underneath the robe. In fact, the robe itself looks quite easy to tear away, he's wearing some fairly heavy duty combat gear underneath.

"Can I help you?" He questions.

"I believe sister Gabby is expecting us?" I question.

The man blinks twice, eyes widening slightly.

He seems to briefly sense outwards, looking to Mittelt. He abruptly bows his head slightly clasping his hands together, seemingly noticing that she is an angel. "Right away. Please follow me."

He leads us inside, we pass through the main room, walking down a set of stairs into a basement that is even larger than the non-supernatural 'front'.

Kneeling before a large cross is a woman in a white dress. Her eyes are closed, a smile on her lips as she clasps her hands in front of her, praying.

She seemingly hears us walk inside, eyes opening.

A gasp leaves her lips as she turns, looking over at us.

Her voice comes out in barely a whisper. "It- It was true!"

She blurs over picking Mittelt up and hugging her tightly with a spin. The shorter girl's face being pressed into the larger woman's bust. "It's so good to see you! I'm- I'm so happy!"

A bright beaming smile has appeared on her face, lifting Mittelt up like she's about to proclaim her the next king of the savannah or something.

It's kind of adorable, honestly.

Mittelt has the cutest blush on her face

"Come on!" Gabriel smiles brightly "Show me your wings!"

"O-Okay." The smaller blonde stutters quietly, her gaze straying around the room.

There's some people here and there, but it's mostly empty.

"Oh! You don't have to worry, Mittelt!" The woman waves off. "This is the supernatural part of the church. They know I'm an angel."

Six large white wings sprout from her back as she rises off the floor, a glimmering halo appears above her head as her eyes seem to shine.

Six wings appear behind Mittelt as a Halo appears atop her head causing Gabriel to let out a small squeal and hug her again. "It was true! Oh, heavens this is wonderful!"

She floats back, clasping her hands together.

She grabs Mittelt's own hands, spinning her around for a moment as they almost dance through the air. "Today is a truly joyous day!"

She pulls Mittelt close with one arm, then zooms over and pulls me close with the other. "Thank you... thank both of you!"

Mittelt and I share a blank stare of surprise, our heads pressed into Gabriel's bust.

The faintest of smiles appears on my face, one that Mittelt gains a moment later, rolling her eyes.

We both probably are thinking the same thing.

Azazel wishes.

"Wait." Gabriel whispers, her voice sounding breathless.

She pulls back, her hands cupping my face as she looks over me.

"Is it- could it be-" the woman whispers. "You are... a true human."

"How?!" She questions. "Why are you like Adam?!"

"I was just born like this." I shrug. "Oh, and speaking of Adam... is he in heaven?"

"He is." The woman nods once. "Dead... in Third Heaven with the rest of the pure souls."

"Huh." I hum, gently stepping out of her grasp. "Neat."

The woman tries to shake off her sheer surprise. "S-So! How was it creating that little game system of yours?"

"Do you call it game system because 'Eden' is kind of sacrilegious?" I question suddenly.

"Yes." Gabriel answers immediately.

"Suzu!" Mittelt chastises with a pout.

"Sorry about that. It was genuinely the best name we had at the time." I admit with a small shrug. "And Mittelt, it's fiiiine. She's not the type to be offended by something so... frankly small... also I was genuinely a little curious."

"Couldn't there have been better names?" Gabriel pouts.

"To be completely and totally fair... we were kind of busy."

"Yeah." Mittelt huffs. "This guy's horrible with names so we kind of just took the first kind of good one. Did you know, that originally, Domain of Magic was going to be called... 'Earthland Online'?"

"That's a wonderful name!" Gabriel beams.

"Heh. See!" I smirk smugly.

"She- She's just saying that cause you bullied Serafall!"

"Completely true!" Gabriel adds in. Instantly switching sides.

"I don't want to hear it from nepotism girl."

"N-NEPOTISM GIRL?!" Mittelt growls.

She lets out a long breath, rolling her eyes, showing that her wrath was merely an act. "You're lucky I love you."

"I'm lucky anyone loves me considering how little effort I put into dating while I was working on the game." I scoff.

Gabriel lets out a small squeal. "YOU TWO ARE SO ADORABLE TOGETHER!"

She floats around us, hands clasped together.

"So! How did you two meet? I bet it was romantic!"

"Mittelt was lonely and wanted friends so Azazel picked out literally the first kid he saw with even an Iota of talent after he saw me kill a feral youkai at really young age. Then he just kind of stuck us in a room and was all 'do whatever' and walked off." I explain blandly.

"That-" Mittelt begins to deny. "Is actually pretty accurate... huh..."

"Ooh! Another question! Are you going to have children? If so, when exactly? Is there anything I can do to make you consider speeding up that process?"

This time Mittelt answers before me. "Yes, ten to twenty years, and no."

"You'd have to have a pretty convincing argument." I cut in.

"SUZU!" Mittelt blushes. "Y-You can't just- you can't just say something like that! W-What if she has one?!"

"Then I guess we'll be teen parents." I shrug.

"But- but- I don't want to be a teen parent!" The ex-fallen stutters

"Ah. But that's the thing. If Gabriel has a good reason... you'll want to." I grin, causing her to cross her arms and pout up at me.

While this is going on Gabriel has a serene smile on her face, looking between us.

"You truly love each other..." She sighs wistfully a happy smile on her lips.

"Huh?" Mittelt blinks.

"Yep." I nod.

Gabriel looks over us and holds out her hands. "Alright. SO. Reason one as to why you should have children as soon as possible-"

Ah yes, Gabriel showing up all "You should have kids NOW!" **Lightning Strike**

Meeting the aunt has been pretty fun. I bet Mittelt really loves that familial affection she's been getting.
