Chapter 58 Selune vs Goku

Selune and Goku stared at each other, he goes into a stance getting ready to face her.

"Well let's see how he does." Beerus said.

Goku transforms into blue and charges at her, she blocks a punch from him.

Then Goku throws many punches at her as she blocks them all, Goku then mixes ki blasts with them making her get hit by the explosion.

"Oh he's learning. He's trying to surprise her." Whis said.

"Goku will need to do a different strategy." Yuudai said.

He then goes around putting many ki orbs around her as she saw them over all over her. He then jumps away as they exploded.

They waited as the smoke clears showing that she has a barrier around her.

"It's a nice attempt. But I have lived way longer than you." She said. "But let's see what you can do compared to your friend... Silence!"

Goku than lost his hearing too, he rubs his ears since that felt weird.

"She used it again." Vegeta frowns.

"Of course, mother wants to test Goku how he will do against her without that one sense of his." Yuudai said.

She then attacks striking at Goku making him guard up as he was getting hit.

'This is so different not being able to hear.'

In a martial arts battle while sight is important hearing is another big part of a battle. As the hearing of a fighter is important to tell about sneak attacks and have them react better as not always sensing can help as you can mask your presence in the right moment.

Selune used another spell that hides her own energy so that Goku couldn't sense her making it harder for him to track her as she strikes at him.

"It seems Selune is not going easy on him. But she tends to give a lesson when she does that." Beerus said.

Goku closes his eyes as he waits, she was behind him and punches forward but then he felt the wind on his back as he ducks.

"Huh?" She got surprised.

He then kicks her in the side making her grunt.

"He got her." Yuudai was surprised.

Vegeta was stunned seeing that.

Selune was also surprised as she attacks with some hits being dead on while he dodges some while dodging.

"Now I see, what your doing? Your using the wind from my attacks to feel where I would strike." She said.

Even if Goku can't hear her he smiles since her reaction he could understand.

"So that's how he did it, he's feeling with touch instead of his ears." Beerus said.

Yuudai could understand that, Goku might not be the brightest guy but when it comes to a fight he can think of something to adapt. Using another sense feeling the air currents from a attack, which many have done in the past is a good idea to use that to predict what his mother would attack.

She attacks as Goku dodges while moving around as he feels the wind as he does it, he flips over her as Selune looks before blocking a punch with her arms.

She then shoots many beams making Goku dodge and knock them back as they came close to her.

Selune smiles. 'He is a genius in combat. But theres still so much to go.'

She then moves her arms as many orbs appear around her. They looked at them.

"You managed to overcome one, but what about the others, as I take away your smell." She shoots one as it hits Goku.

He then tries to smell but couldn't. 'I can't smell.'

"Your eye sight." She uses another and Goku went blind. "And now without being able to feel."

She uses another as the sense that Goku was using was gone making him defenseless.

"Oh, she's taking it more serious." Whis frowns.

"She can take them all away." Vegeta was in shock.

"Yes, that's how she managed to beat me." Beerus rubs his face at that memory.

She then knees Goku making him fall to the ground in base form.

"Goku." Yuudai goes to check on him.

Whis uses his staff to make him back to normal.

"Man, that was hard." Goku rubs his body. "She can just take everything away."

"Which is why I told you Selune is a powerful goddess. Her abilities are among the most powerful." Whis said.

Yuudai thinks about it. "Mother, could it be possible for me to learn some of it."

"I can teach one." She raises a finger.

"Just one?" He got confused.

"It will take too much time and I bet you want to spend more time with yor family." She said.

The kids went around her.

"You were amazing grandma!" Mint said.

"Yeah, you beat them like nothing!" Aqua said.

Selune chuckles at how excited they were. "Well I have plenty of training myself."

"I gotta do a lot of work if I want to catch up to her and lord Beerus." Goku said.

"Don't think you'll leave me behind." Vegeta said.

Yuudai stares. "He's always competing with him."

Selune goes to his side. "It's only natural. They're race want to get stronger through many battles."

He knew that all too well because of his own two sons do that a lot.

"So don't worry about your two sons. I think they'll grow up to be great boys since they come from a great father." She said.

He smiles a bit. "Yeah."

"I want upsies." Aqua puts her arms to Selune.

"Okay." She picks her up. "I haven't done this ever since Yuudai was a little boy."

"You went missing for years." Yuudai said.

She frowns. "Yeah, i'm sorry. But I needed to return in case some of my enemies came."

"Those were always troubling. Odin would have been mad if you had a child with a human." Whis commented.

"Who's Odin?" Goku asked.

"That guy is a annoying prick. If he heard that she got married to a human which is what he hates more over gods doing stuff to them, he would be angry." Beerus rubs one of his ears.

Yuudai wonders about them and who these other gods would be like, but he'll have to wait for another time.

Note: Heres the Goku battle and she went serious with him as she took more of his senses away, Goku is a good fighter but when she gets serious it's too much.
