Chapter 6: Eeveelutions

It was a particularly cold day here in Circhester with the wind blowing snowflakes around as people were shoveling the walkways in front of their houses and children and their Pokémon were playing in the snow. Even though all these sights were a common occurrence, I couldn't help but smile at how peaceful it all was. And what made it so much better was that I was enjoying it all with my girlfriend, Eve. Eve and I met over a year ago and it was practically love at first sight. She was so kind, so smart, so caring, and so beautiful with her adorable face, wavy brown hair, and purple eyes. First, there was Aqua, a gentle and peace-loving Vaporeon, who had wavy blue hair, a white fin encircling her neck, three fins on her head (two on the sides and one on top), light blue arms and legs with three toes on each foot, and a tail with a split fin like that of a mermaid while she wore a purple dress. Second, there was Joyce, a hotheaded, competitive, and rebellious Jolteon, the eldest Eevee sister, who had long yellow hair that went down to her shoulders, furry yellow legs, wrists and hands, black lipstick, large, pointed ears, a white ruff around her neck, and a spiky fringe around her butt while she wore a crop top that barely hid her black bra, black shorts and ripped leggings. Third, there was Flare, a nurturing and affectionate Flareon, who had a tan complexion with reddish-orange furry arms and legs, blue eyes, long yellow hair that went down to her waist and was tied near the end, a fluffy mane around her neck, and an enormous bushy tail while she wore a large cashmere sweater. Fourth, there was Esper, an Espeon who was the most intelligent of the Eevee sisters, who had short lilac hair, large ears with small tufts of fur under them, two beautiful purple eyes behind a pair of square rimmed glasses, furry lilac arms and legs, a small red gem embedded in her forehead, and a thin, forked tail while she wore a casual librarian's outfit. Fifth, there was Umbra, an emo, vulgar, and somewhat narcissistic Umbreon, who had furry black arms and legs with yellow rings on the shoulders and upper thighs, red eyes, long, black, pointed ears with yellow bands around them, black hair in an emo bob cut that covered one of her red eyes, a yellow ring on her forehead, and a black bushy tail with a yellow band around it while she had a goth girl outfit complete with a spiked collar around her neck. Sixth, there was Petal, a calm yet shy Leafeon, who had tan furry legs and arms that turned to dark brown on her hands and feet, multiple sprouts on her shoulders, legs, back and chest, a large, curled leaf on her forehead, green shoulder length hair, large ears and a tail resembling tattered leaves, and beautiful brown eyes while she wore a simple T-shirt and slacks. Seventh, there was Crystal, a beautiful and humble Glaceon, who had furry light-blue arms and legs, two long, light-blue ears, long, wavy teal hair with two dangling flaps at the sides, a long light-blue tail, and teal eyes while she wore a modest dress. And last but not least, there was Sylvia, a flirty, playful, and affectionate Sylveon, who had furry cream-colored arms and legs that were pink at the hands and feet, long, pink ears, shoulder length pink hair, a pink tail, and two bows on her body (one at the base of her left ear and one around her neck) that both sported a pair of ribbon-like feelers while she wore a dainty blouse that showed off her cleavage a little and jean shorts. "What truth? That you're a fucking narcissist and you only see things in your own 'special' way?" Joyce snarled, prompting the two to angrily stare each other down as they bared their teeth until Petal got in between the two.

"Would you two please stop fighting?! If you don't stop fighting, then Will is gonna get angry, and I don't like seeing him angry!" she whined before I stepped forward and hugged her to get her to calm down. It always made me happy to see Petal try so hard to keep things peaceful around the house due to her nature, though I sometimes worried about her. As I was gently stroking Petal's head to get her to calm down, Aqua walked over to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"So, how was your walk home?" Aqua asked as Eve and I hung our coats up.

"It was nice. A lot of friendly faces outside. A lot of children playing. And we brought home some steamed vegetables and rice," Eve replied before Flare's eyes suddenly went wide and she placed her hands on her cheeks while she shrieked as if she just remembered something horrible.

"No need to fret, Flare. I saved it just in time!" Crystal said with a smile, prompting Flare to breathe a sigh of relief.

"Well, if dinner's ready, I'll go ahead and grab some bowls for us," I said.

"I'll get the chopsticks," Esper added as we went to the kitchen to acquire what we needed and then set everything on the extra-large kotatsu we had in the living room before we all started eating. One thing that I should mention about Flare's cooking was that it was ABSOLUTELY delicious. No matter what sort of dish she made, she was always so precise and careful with what ingredients she had and she followed every recipe to the letter. Unfortunately, even with her skills, she only got a job as a waitress at a famous restaurant, but she was always determined to work her hardest to one day obtain a promotion and let her talent shine through. "EXCUSE you, but I am NOT an attention whore! I just wanted Will to praise me for my cooking!" Flare argued.

"Like you ALWAYS do whenever you cook. Ergo, you're an attention whore," Joyce responded before Aqua spoke up to break the rising tension.

"OK, how about we talk about the highlights of our day? For me, we actually had a Wailmer come into the fitness center today for a swim class with the kids. "I wouldn't know... I didn't really pay attention seeing as it felt like pointless gossip... but I know for a fact that it can't be William, seeing as he has us," Crystal replied.

"Regardless... I feel that it's best that we not talk about that subject any further," Esper said.

"Nah, I feel that we should. Like, is she sharing her boyfriend with that thick ass Frosmoth of hers? Do they do it in the middle of the Stadium when no one's..." Umbra started to say before Esper used Psychic to pull on her ear to shut her up.

The one and only Raihan!" Sylvia explained, drawing looks of shock from everyone. Practically everyone in Galar knew who Raihan was. However, I had to tell him that I was already taken and he said that whoever was dating me was the luckiest man in the world…" Sylvia said as she squealed a bit. I was honestly a bit touched that someone like Raihan actually thought that of me and I couldn't help but blush at that remark.

"Well, I don't really have anything interesting to share about my day, unfortunately…" Esper said.

"Nor do I. Work's been kind of slow seeing as it's the middle of the winter," Petal added.

"Petal, it's ALWAYS winter around here," Joyce replied.

"Not always! We've had warmer months here!" Petal whined before I patted her on the head to get her to calm down.

"I don't really have anything to share other than we had a few birthday boys and girls at the restaurant today... What about you, Umbra?" Flare asked, only for Umbra to shrug in response.

"Well... there was a bit of a mishap at the café today... we were extremely busy and there was a lot of running around... and I guess that someone must've accidentally spilled their latte and I ended up slipping on it.
