—"Naruto, Naruto!" ,Nora Valkyrie cried incessantly, her voice echoing like thunder in the storm, full of desperation and fear, with a palpable urgency.
Their leader, their friend, had disappeared.
—"Naruto, Naruto!", Ren shouted with all his might, the usually serene young man now immersed in the frantic search for his leader and friend.
After the Grimm invasion of the kingdom of Vale, one could say that everything was calm, although that would be a cruel irony.
Nora searched tirelessly for her leader. It has been five days since the search began and nine days since the invasion ended.
She felt devastated. It had been no more than seven days since she had been told of the death of her friend, Pyrrha Nikos, and also that of Headmaster Ozpin.
The news of Pyrrha's death broke her heart. She cried inconsolably, inconsolably, and although Ren, to a lesser extent, also shed many tears, Nora cried herself to sleep.
But she couldn't just stand there and let the sadness consume her. She wasn't like that. She remained steadfast and cheerful, even though it took effort. She had the slightest hope that her leader, Naruto Uzumaki, was still alive. They hadn't confirmed his death yet, they were just keeping him as missing in action.
Nora, heartbroken but determined, continued her search. Every corner of the kingdom of Vale was thoroughly searched, every shadow examined carefully. Ren, at her side, shared her pain and her hope. The loss of Pyrrha had left a deep wound in both of them, but the possibility of finding Naruto gave them the strength to continue forward.
So, they began to search. A scouting party bravely set out once again into the kingdom of Vale, a kingdom now infested with Grimm. Nora would like to say that she joined this scouting party to look for stragglers or bodies of citizens to give them a proper burial, that she joined this scouting party to do a good deed just like the other hunters. But no, her main goal was to search for their leader. She had faith that he was still alive.
And now, here he found himself under the remains of Amity Stadium. While calling it the remains of the stadium was a bit of a strong expression, the truth was that if a normal person were to see this place, they would say that it was never a stadium. This place was just rock after rock of rubble; the metal pieces that made up the stadium seemed to have melted and vanished.
The only way they knew this place was the remains of Amity Stadium was because many citizens and the hunters themselves saw how Amity Stadium was literally consumed from the sky by a glowing red sphere. It literally vanished in seconds. The shockwave caused the clouds to disperse and the sky to shake. The strong hurricane-force winds that arose from that explosion even reached the city of Vale, capital of the kingdom of Vale.
She was searching this place, as it was the only place left to explore. If they didn't find Naruto there, she would have to accept the painful reality: Naruto was dead.
—"Naruto, Naruto!" ,Even Jaune was looking for Naruto. It was no surprise; to him, Naruto was his best friend. Besides, Jaune was the leader of the exploration group, in charge of searching for bodies or survivors in this fallen kingdom.
Nora admired Jaune's strength. Despite having a cast on his arm, he accompanied them on the search. The boy had kept his promise: after the invasion, he made sure to bring all the civilian citizens to safety in the nearest town outside the kingdom. He made sure that the hospitals treated the wounded and sick. When he saw that everything was in order, when the invasion was over and the lives he was able to save were in better hands, with the best care and the best supplies available at that time, he cried and broke down. His crying cries echoed like a waterfall, not caring that he was surrounded by people, not caring that the soldiers he commanded saw him. He had said that he would do this, that when the invasion was over, he would mourn the death of his friend.
—"Penny, Penny!" ,Jaune screamed his companion's name with such force and pain that even the soldiers themselves shuddered. His companions knelt beside him, also with tears in their eyes, mourning the loss of their friend. Shocked, they had never seen Jaune so broken. He fainted from the pain; his heart could not bear it.
The next day, Jaune forced himself to get up. He had work to do, or rather, he wanted to keep himself busy so he wouldn't think about his pain. With each step, he felt the weight of sadness, but he held on to the hope that work would bring him some comfort.
—"Naruto, where are you?! Scream if you can hear me! Scream!" ,Nora screamed desperately. Little by little, her tears began to leak, although she kept the faith that Naruto was alive. That faith, however, was beginning to waver. Naruto was strong, she knew that, but the enemy she faced was unlike anything anyone in this world had ever faced before.
Sasuke, that formidable and dangerous foe, possessed such overwhelming power that he dwarfed anyone she knew. Not Ozpin, not Professor Glynda Goodwitch, not General Ironwood, and she would even dare to say with great confidence that no hunter with years of experience could stand up to someone like Sasuke. The idiot was just toying with them. That man, on his own, could have decimated Vale in a matter of minutes, but he chose not to. He decided to use the Grimm, and Naruto faced this guy alone.
Nora, her heart in her mouth, continued to search for Naruto. Every corner, every shadow, every sound filled her with hope and fear. The desperation in her voice was palpable, and her tears fell like silent rain, reflecting the storm inside her. She knew Naruto was strong, but the enemy she faced was a force of nature, a titan that defied all logic and reason.
As she rounded a large rock, her eyes caught an image that would mark her for life. As if she could barely comprehend what was in front of her, she saw a body leaning against a large pile of concrete.
The clothes covering that person seemed to fuse with his own skin, forming a single entity. Parts of his body were charred black, and blood was seeping out from the reddish cracks that appeared all over his body. Much of that person's hair was gone, leaving only small recognizable blonde locks. Surprisingly, he was still breathing.
That image was imprinted in Nora's pupils, and she couldn't help it: she gave a chilling scream that echoed in the air.
—"Hahahaha!", Nora stood up, panting and sweating. She looked around and realized she was in the circus tent they used as a camp. Some would say that, being on the road, they would use a simple cloth as a bed, but no. Naruto had promised that they would have every possible comfort, and he delivered. She wasn't sleeping with a simple blanket; she had a mattress underneath her.
Nora could make out Naruto's figure leaning against a desk, illuminated by a lamp. He was writing on a piece of paper, and she realized that they were those famous weight seals, wonderful objects that could go from weighing nothing to almost a ton in an instant. It was something amazing.
Naruto, noticing that she had woken up, turned to Nora and smiled at her.
—"Wow, you're the first one to wake up. Get some rest, it's not morning yet," Naruto said, looking at his scroll. —"There are like five hours left until dawn. Make the most of it and keep sleeping."
—"Naruto," it was an unconscious whisper, but a treacherous tear rolled down Nora's cheek, which she quickly wiped away. Then she noticed it instantly: her clothes were not the same as those of the afternoon. She was wearing her pajamas. She looked at Naruto, looked at her pajamas and blushed intensely.
—"You, you... per-pervert!" Nora let out a howl of embarrassment and covered her body as if Naruto was devouring her with his gaze... which wasn't entirely wrong.
—"I'm not a pervert, I'm a super pervert. That 'super' part needs to be emphasized, there's a big difference," Naruto said naturally, not affected by Nora's outburst. In fact, he seemed amused.
—"You stripped me and changed my clothes! You defiled my beautiful body!" ,Nora was dead with embarrassment and also felt frustrated because Naruto didn't look embarrassed; rather, he seemed to enjoy the situation.
—"If it's any consolation, I blindfolded myself. I didn't see anything, . . I just felt it," Naruto's smile was wicked.
—"Damn bastard!" Nora threw the sheets off her, ready to get up, but Naruto raised his hands in a sign of peace.
—"Okay! Enough with the jokes. The truth is, you weren't the first one to get up. That was Ruby. I ordered her to change your clothes and then I healed you. You'll notice that you don't feel any pain."
Nora opened her eyes in surprise. It was true. She had been indirectly hit in the stomach by a Rasengan. Right now she should be in agony, but she felt nothing. Naruto had probably healed her with that mysterious green aura technique he called the Mystic Palm. She had asked him to teach her that technique, and surprisingly, he hadn't refused. The problem was that no matter how hard she tried to learn it, she found it impossible. The aura control required for something like that was extremely high. She could control her aura, yes, but at that level? Frankly, she would never expect to even reach that level, so she gave up.
—"So, you didn't see anything?" ,he said in an audible whisper.
—"Well, I really wanted to," Naruto replied, dodging a pillow that Nora threw at him.
—"Idiot!" ,she croaked like an animal, her face red with embarrassment and frustration.
Naruto, noticeably silent, just watched her seriously.
—"What's wrong?" ,Nora asked, concern in her voice.
—"You had a nightmare. What did you dream about?" Naruto inquired, his tone soft but firm.
Nora, still visibly affected by sleep, responded weakly:
—"I dreamed of the day I found you after the invasion."
—"I see," Naruto said, remembering that day as well. He was deeply grateful to Nora. That day, he was seriously injured; even breathing was painful. In that moment of anguish and suffering, Nora appeared. She helped him, picked him up, and took him to a makeshift hospital on the outskirts of the kingdom. She stayed by his side until he recovered. He wouldn't live long enough to thank Nora for saving him.
Naruto paused, watching as tears began to flow down Nora's cheeks again, this time harder.
—"You shouldn't be distressed by that memory. I'm fine, all thanks to you," Naruto said, but fell silent when he saw the intensity of the pain in Nora's eyes.
Nora, her voice breaking, expressed her pain:
—"It's always the same. When things were going well, something happens and everything is taken away from me. First it was my mother. I don't remember her very well, but I know she kept me safe so I wouldn't die at the hands of the Grimm. They wiped out my village. Then I ended up in Kuroyuri, I met Ren and things seemed to be going well, but then misfortune struck again. Kuroyuri was attacked by a Grimm and I lost everything again. It was just Ren and me. And then when I entered Beacon Academy, things seemed to be going well again. The days were bearable, easy, every day I was happier than the last. But then everything was taken away from me again. I lost Pyrrha and I thought I had lost you. Misfortune always follows me. I try to stay happy and see the positive side of things, but it's very difficult for me. I don't know if I can keep doing it anymore."
Nora let out what was in her heart. Seeing someone as cheerful as her break down like that was painful.
Naruto chose to remain silent. What could he say or do to comfort Nora? He could only be himself and express what he felt deep within.
—"I don't know..." Nora didn't know when Naruto moved, but suddenly he was dangerously close to her, his nose brushing hers and his forehead resting on hers. The closeness was overwhelming, but also comforting.
—"Please don't cry," Naruto murmured, his voice soft as a summer breeze. Nora tried to calm herself, but the sadness she had been suppressing had finally surfaced. She needed to let it all out, to let the tears flow freely.
—"I'm a mess..." Nora whispered, her voice cracking with pain.
—"Don't say that, it's not true," Naruto interrupted her firmly, his tone full of conviction.
—"I bring misfortune wherever I go," Nora said between sobs, her body shaking with each word.
—"That's not true, you bring fortune wherever you go," Naruto replied with a serene smile, his eyes shining with sincerity.
—"It's not true," Nora shook her head vehemently, her tears falling like rain.
—"Of course I do. Look at me, I was a mess before I met you," Naruto reassured her, his voice filled with a warmth that only he could offer. Somehow, his words rang true.
—"I shouldn't have left you alone, I should have fought you against Sasuke," Nora said, her voice filled with regret. Naruto shook his head, this time with more determination.
—"You would have gotten hurt, you would have gotten hurt badly," Naruto replied, his tone firm but full of concern.
—"But we would have been hurt together! We should have stayed with you until the end, as a team," Nora cried, the guilt of that day eating away at her inside. She felt like she should have done more.
Naruto shook his head once more, taking Nora's hands and squeezing them tightly, conveying his support and affection. "You did well to leave me, you followed my orders," he said softly, his eyes reflecting the truth of his words.
—"I should have disobeyed you, I left you alone, fighting against that monster and you were badly injured, you almost died," Nora's tears stained Naruto's hands, who squeezed them even tighter, as if he wanted to absorb all her pain.
—"No, Nora. You did the right thing. I'm here because of you," Naruto whispered, his voice filled with gratitude and love. The closeness between them felt like a refuge in the middle of the storm, a place where they could both heal their wounds.
All this time, Nora's eyes never left Naruto's. She was staring at him so intently, with an intensity that seemed to pierce through his soul. She knew she needed to give him a warning, make him promise something. She knew Naruto well enough to know that if she made him promise something, he would keep it. It was one of Naruto's most comforting qualities, his ability to keep his promises, something not many people did.
—"I want you to promise me something," Nora said, her voice shaking slightly.
—"If it's within my power," Naruto replied, his tone full of willingness.
—"No! You have to promise me this!" she exclaimed firmly, her voice ringing with unwavering determination.— "Promise me that you won't push me away, that you won't take us away from you. Promise me that you'll never ask me to go, to leave you alone. That you'll ask for help, that we'll fight together. Don't ever take me away from you. Promise me that whatever enemy stands before you, you'll face it with me, with all of us."
Naruto held his breath. This was a promise he really didn't want to make, more so because of the fact that he would most likely have to fight alone. He understood Nora's wish very well, but the enemy he would face in the future would be too much for her and everyone else.
However, something in his soul urged him to promise it, to fulfill what Nora asked of him. For a moment he resisted, but decided to follow the call of his heart. He closed his eyes and, consequently, Nora closed hers too. Their tightly clasped hands were a representation of the words Naruto was going to say. He would never take Nora away from him, or any of his friends. And even if he wanted to, he had the feeling that these boys would follow him to the ends of the earth. It was a very encouraging thought.
—"... I".
—"Give each other a kiss already, you lunatics!"
Nora opened her eyes as did Naruto so quickly that it was surprising. They turned their vision to where that voice was and there they found Ren sitting on his bed. Ren was staring at them and they also noticed that Ruby was awake too. They were both crying, it seemed that they had heard the whole conversation, and now they understood Nora's heart very well.
Naruto didn't know why he did all these things, but it was more because he wanted to lighten the mood. So, he stretched his lips towards Nora's very slowly, his eyes shining with a mix of mischief and mockery.
—"What the hell?!" Nora quickly pushed him away, blushing fiercely. —"Don't even try, Naruto, even if you're that lucky!"
—"Puff, hahaha, hahahaha!" Naruto burst out laughing, his laughter echoing throughout the tent.
—"Hey! Don't laugh! You almost defiled the lips of a beautiful maiden!"
—"¡Jajaja!"
—"Stop laughing!" Nora crossed her arms, trying to keep a serious expression, but her lips trembled, struggling not to smile.
Ren, watching the scene, couldn't help but add, —"Naruto, if you keep this up, you're going to need more than your combat skills to protect yourself from Nora."
Wiping away her tears, Ruby added in a playful tone, "I think Ren is right, Naruto. Don't get too confident!"
Naruto, still laughing, raised his hands in surrender. —"Alright, alright. I give up. But I can't help it, it's so easy to make fun of Nora."
Nora, finally smiling, walked over and gently tapped him on the shoulder. —"Just make sure you keep that promise, Naruto. No matter what happens, we'll be with you."
—"... I will try"
-{}-
—"What's that?"
A citizen of Vale looked out to sea from the seaports. Wait, wasn't the kingdom of Vale invaded by the Grimm and now that area is completely uninhabitable? How is it possible that a citizen of Vale is looking out at the kingdom's ports? The answer came in a moment of uncertainty, or rather, in a moment of fury.
When Naruto Uzumaki woke up from his slumber in one of those makeshift hospitals, he received the painful news straight away. The Atlas military did not beat around the bush; they quickly informed him of the death of his friend Pyrrha. The news was a devastating blow, delivered without hesitation, as if it were just another routine in his grim duty.
Nora, her heart on fire, insulted the soldiers for their insensitivity in giving the information. However, it had to be kept in mind that they were only following orders. It wasn't that they were insensitive, but they had done this so many times that it had practically become routine. They informed citizens that a family member or acquaintance had died in the invasion, with a coldness that only repetition can bestow.
Nora waited anxiously for Naruto's reaction. Her uneasiness grew as she saw that he remained silent. Despite having awakened from his slumber, he was not in the best condition; he practically looked like a mummy, bandaged from head to toe. His eyes, however, were windows to a soul torn apart by pain.
After a brief but eternal silence, tears began to well up in Naruto's eyes, followed by a cry of pain that echoed off the walls of the makeshift hospital. His cry was an echo of loss, a manifestation of the deep wound the news had inflicted on his heart. Nora, moved, approached him, her own eyes filled with tears, and hugged him tightly, sharing their pain in an attempt at mutual comfort.
Naruto, with great effort, managed to get off his stretcher. Every movement was a battle against the pain that ran through his body.
—"Hey! What are you doing? Don't get up!", Nora exclaimed, worried. Ren also tried to stop him, but Naruto ignored them, his fury palpable.
He knew he wouldn't find Sasuke there, as the idiot was surely far away. He wouldn't find Cinder either, who had probably already escaped. The only object of his anger was in the kingdom of Vale. Despite the pain he felt in every fiber of his muscles as he walked, he didn't stop. Each step brought him closer to his goal. Nora and Ren tried to stop him, but Naruto ignored them. They even tried to physically restrain him, but Naruto, even in that condition, was much stronger than them and easily took them down.
He felt guilty for that action, but at that moment, nothing mattered more than his mission. Guilt was a luxury he could not afford.
On his way, he met the figure of his friend Jaune Arc, who looked at him with understanding. Jaune, with a look of understanding, stood in his way.
—"Don't even think about stopping me, Jaune," Naruto warned, his voice laden with menace. But to his surprise, Jaune didn't try to stop him.
—"Of course not," Jaune replied, tossing an object to him. Naruto, stunned, looked at his friend's actions. He slightly opened his eyes at the sight Jaune handed him.
—"You're not going to go without your weapon, are you?" Jaune said, with a sad smile.
Naruto drew his katana from its sheath and stared at the silver saber with bloodlust. The blade reflected his determination and his pain. With each step, his resolve grew stronger, and the weight of his mission became clearer. Fury and sadness intertwined in his heart, driving him forward, towards the kingdom of Vale, where he hoped to find answers and perhaps, a little peace.
Naruto nodded his thanks and continued on his way. When Nora and Ren tried to follow him, Jaune stopped them with a firm hand.
—"This is something he has to do alone. He's too angry to listen to reason. Let him vent. The best thing you can do now is simply keep an eye on him. We'll make sure he doesn't push himself any further than he can handle," Jaune said in a solemn voice, his eyes reflecting a mix of concern and understanding.
Naruto arrived at the entrances to the kingdom's crumbling walls. Without hesitation, he unsheathed his katana and charged at the Grimm. The creatures had not expected a single man to decimate them with such ferocity. Naruto's every movement was a whirlwind of fury and precision, his katana glowing with a deadly radiance.
The fight was astonishing. Despite his condition, Naruto moved with a speed and agility that defied logic. Nora and Ren could barely keep track of him with their eyes; every blink of an eye made them lose sight of his figure, which vanished in a trail of lightning. Every building and collapsed house he passed through became a battlefield, where Grimm were cut in half with deadly precision.
For ten days, Naruto purged the kingdom of Vale of the Grimm. In all that time, his feat was told, seen, recorded, and told by word of mouth by every citizen of the former kingdom of Vale. The story of his bravery and determination spread like wildfire, inspiring all who heard it.
Every soldier of Atlas and every student of the Hunter Academy witnessed Naruto cut down the beasts they could not push back. That he was seriously injured made his feat all the more astonishing. His body, bandaged and battered, was a testament to his resilience and unwavering will. Every swing of his katana was a declaration of his determination, a promise that he would not stop until the last Grimm was defeated.
And at the end of the tenth day, with the sun setting on the horizon, Naruto knelt down in exhaustion, digging his sword into the ground to keep from collapsing. His breathing was erratic, his lungs were burning, and his vision was blurry. His body had reached its limit, and he had pushed it beyond what was recommended for his condition. Finally, he collapsed on the cold asphalt, his body exhausted and limp.
The people cried out his name, chanted his victory, and applauded his courage. Their voices echoed with gratitude and admiration. Naruto had given his all to protect them, and they knew it. The citizens of the former kingdom of Vale began to return to their destroyed home, willing to slowly rebuild what once was. Hope was reborn in their hearts, fueled by Naruto's sacrifice.
At that time, citizens gathered in the ports, watching with curiosity and concern a fleet of ships approaching from the high seas. They did not know where they came from or what their intentions were. Uncertainty was mixed with fear, but also with a spark of hope. Were they allies or enemies? Refugees in search of help or invaders with dark intentions?
When the ships arrived at the ports, fauns landed. People wondered what they wanted there. If they were refugees from somewhere else, they feared they would not be able to help them, as they barely had the resources to survive themselves. The situation was desperate; the few boats they had for fishing were not enough to feed everyone.
The fauns wore uniforms that, for a moment, made those present fear that they were part of the White Fang. However, those uniforms did not belong to that group. The one who seemed to be in charge spoke with a firm voice and read a document as if he were a messenger from some kingdom.
—"Today I have come to you as an emissary of Menagerie! Even from that corner of the world we have heard news of your situation and we have come to help."
More men came out of the boats, each carrying a huge wooden box, and animals were also disembarked. The scene was one of unexpected solidarity.
—"Siena Khan, leader of the White Fang, extends his hand to every citizen of this kingdom! Understand that this is not a time for indifference, that our differences matter very little when a life is at stake and when a catastrophe like this is experienced. Every citizen, be it man or woman, human or faun, will receive food to survive!"
Every man, woman, child, and faun was shocked by those words. Was Menagerie helping them? They left the more important questions behind. Was the White Fang helping them, the same ones who had also helped destroy their home? In any case, the important thing was that box after box of food was coming down from the ships, and it seemed to have no end.
From a distance, Blake Belladonna watched all this commotion. She felt shocked and wary, suspicious of Siena's intentions. Why would she be actively helping humans? She understood why she would help fauns, since they were her own species, but something didn't add up. Had Siena had a change of heart? Blake highly doubted it.
The Fauns, in their impeccable uniforms, moved efficiently, unloading the supplies. The citizens of Vale, still wary, began to approach, their gazes filled with curiosity and hope. The emissary's voice rang with authority and compassion, uniting everyone in a time of shared need.
Blake, hidden in the shadows, watched every move. Her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. She remembered the days when the White Fang was a force of terror and destruction. Now, seeing them as saviors was an unexpected twist. Could she trust them? Could she trust Siena Khan?
As crates of food piled up on the docks, citizens began to organize to distribute the supplies. Cooperation between humans and faunus was a rare and beautiful sight. Blake felt a spark of hope, but also a shadow of doubt. Was this help a prelude to something more sinister?
Was Siena trying to curry favor with the people in this time of need? Well, that seemed much more likely. If anything, it wasn't right. Blake knew the situation in his birthplace; all this food couldn't have come from Menagerie. It had to have come from somewhere else.
Blake was very hesitant, and rightly so. He knew his land very well and knew that they couldn't grow wheat in such quantities. However, there were many sacks of wheat in those boxes. The situation was suspicious and he needed answers.
He had to do something. Find out what was really going on and stop Siena if she was starting to steal food from other villages to help the Valeans. He couldn't allow Siena and the White Fang's evil plans and purposes to go unchallenged.
Blake decided that he must travel back to his homeland. Setting sail for Menagerie was the only option. The journey would be long and dangerous, but he had no other choice. He must discover the truth and, if necessary, stop Siena.
As Blake prepared for her journey, her thoughts filled with doubt and worry. What would she find when she reached Menagerie? Could she face Siena and the White Fang alone? Uncertainty filled her, but so did a steely determination. She could not stand by while her homeland and people suffered.
The port was bustling with activity. Fauns were unloading supplies and Vale's citizens were beginning to organize to distribute food. Blake watched from the shadows, his mind racing. Every movement of the fauns, every word of the emissary, everything was analyzed closely.
Blake knew he had to act quickly. He couldn't allow Siena to use this crisis for its own ends. Aid coming to Vale was needed, but not at the expense of other towns. Justice and truth must prevail.
With a heavy but determined heart, Blake headed to the harbor. He found a ship ready to set sail for Menagerie and set out on his mission. The journey would be arduous, but his determination was unwavering. He must uncover the truth and protect his people, no matter the cost.
As the ship sailed away from the harbor, Blake looked out toward the horizon. The future was uncertain, but his mission was clear. He had to confront Siena and the White Fang, uncover their true intentions, and stop any plans that would endanger the innocent. The fight for justice and truth was just beginning.

Naruto stood frozen...
as they passed through several villages, one after another, revealing the trail of destruction that the Grimm had left behind. The villages were destroyed to the ground, almost unrecognizable.
Ruby, Ren, and Nora looked in horror at the bodies strewn across every town they passed through. For Ren, this was a painful reminder of what happened in their former home, and for Nora, it was the same. For Ruby, this was completely new, and she felt dejected at the sight of so much devastation.
A small consolation for them was that Naruto had seen signs that some civilians had managed to escape, moving to other nearby villages that had maybe, just maybe, come out unscathed from the stampede of Grimm that attacked Vale. However, this thought did little to ease their pain.
But at this moment, Naruto's heart sank and his eyes widened as he saw the village of Brennendes Herz before him. Nora covered her mouth, unable to contain her anguish. Ren became furious, feeling like this calamity was repeating itself again, something he couldn't bear. Ruby simply grew even sadder, feeling the weight of the tragedy.
Naruto remained motionless, staring at the destroyed wall of the village.
—"Naruto," Nora tried to call out to him, but before she could say anything, Naruto moved like lightning, entering the ruined village. Surprisingly, there were still people there. Although the houses were destroyed and everything looked desolate, those people were cleaning up and rebuilding. But at that moment, none of that mattered to Naruto. He desperately searched through the people, with fear in his heart and the hope of finding someone he knew.
Then someone recognized him.
—"¡Naruto!"
The boy turned towards that voice. It was a young girl he remembered well, Amelia. He recognized her because she had worked with his father on building a house a long time ago. Naruto quickly approached the girl. She wanted to greet him, but he had no time for pleasantries.
—"Where is she? Where is Naira?" ,he asked, visibly scared.
—"S-She's in the center of the village. A shelter was built, she..." Amelia tried to explain, but Naruto didn't let her finish and left as quickly as he had arrived.
Following in his footsteps, his friends ran after him. It was rare to see their friend and leader in such a state; it seemed like he really cared a lot about this girl. Ruby, Ren, and Nora exchanged worried glances as they tried to keep up.
The time it took them to reach their destination was minimal. Naruto used all his speed to the maximum, taking literally seconds to arrive. And then he saw her. She was just as he remembered her: dazzling and simple. It seemed that the tragedy had not changed her in the least. Naira was behind a table, serving food to the victims with a large number of pots around her.
Naruto walked over with a zombie-like gait, as if he couldn't believe his luck at seeing her properly. His eyes filled with tears of relief and excitement. Naira saw him too and was surprised to see him there. With a speed that defied logic, she left everything behind and ran towards him.
—"Naruto!" she shouted happily, lunging at him and hugging him tightly. Naruto did the same, holding her so tightly that it seemed like they wanted to merge into one person.
—"I'm so glad you're here," she whispered, almost on the verge of tears, as tears ran down her cheeks.
Naruto held her tenderly, feeling all the weight of worry and fear melt away in that hug.
Naruto's friends came up to him, stopping a few feet away. They smiled as they saw that Naira was okay. Ruby didn't know her at all, she didn't know who that girl was or anything about this village, but seeing the relieved expression on Naruto's face, she was glad for his happiness. Ren and Nora, on the other hand, shared a deeper connection to the situation, feeling a similar relief as their friend.
Naruto managed to break away from Naira's strong embrace and, with a mix of urgency and concern in his voice, asked:
—"Where are Carlos and Maria? Where are your parents?"
Naira lowered her head, her shoulders began to shake and tears began to flow from her eyes. Naruto understood immediately. The sadness and pain in her expression was unmistakable. Ruby, watching the scene, felt a pang of empathy, although she didn't know the details, she could feel the gravity of the situation.
Naruto moved closer to Naira, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. Her friends moved a little closer, forming a supportive circle around them. Ren clenched his fists, feeling the helplessness of not being able to do more at that moment. Nora, with tears in her eyes, looked at Naira with a mix of compassion and sadness.
—"I'm so sorry, Naira," Naruto said softly, trying to comfort her. Naira sobbed, unable to contain the pain she felt. Ruby, although she didn't know Naira, was touched by the scene and wished she could do something to help.
The group remained silent for a moment, respecting Naira's pain. The devastation around them seemed even more palpable with each passing second.
-{}-
Naruto now found himself in front of two tombstones. They weren't the best, in fact, they were very simple, the best Naira could afford in her situation. On those tombstones were engraved the names of Carlos Thompson and Maria Thompson, two people who lived together until the last breath of their lives. They were the few people who treated Naruto very well, and he owed them a lot.
This whole tragedy happened in an instant.
According to what Naira told her, it was so fast that even she didn't notice. No one had actually noticed, not even the guards.
As she and her parents slept, it was as if the world had shaken. The shaking of the Earth grew stronger, and then the Grimm passed by. They did not display the killing intent they always displayed towards humans; no, they simply walked over them as if they were worthless, destroying house by house as if they were cardboard walls. They did not intentionally kill humans, but as they walked, they stepped on them like ants, pushed them around like worthless objects.
It was a Goliath that destroyed Naira's house. It walked past her home and destroyed it as if it weren't even there. In that great tragedy, her father and mother were crushed to death by the foundations. Miraculously, she had survived without being hurt.
Naruto spent three days staring at those tombstones. The torrential wind, the rain and the scorching sun did not move him from there, not even the hunger he felt. His eyes, full of sadness and determination, did not move away from the names engraved on the stone. Each drop of rain that fell on his face seemed to mix his tears with the water from the sky, while his heart beat with a deep and constant pain.
Naira always came to make sure he was okay. She approached with soft steps, her face reflecting a mix of concern and tenderness. She told him that this was not his fault, that she could not have foreseen what happened. His friends also tried to take him straight to the camp, but he did not move. His body seemed anchored to the ground, as if the roots of his grief were holding him there.
Of course it wasn't his fault, but he tried to understand why. He had placed seals all over the town, in a diameter of 2 kilometers outside the walls. These seals helped to persuade the Grimm to stray from the path, to go in other directions, like an illusion. Each seal had been placed with precision and care, in the hopes of protecting everyone who lived there.
However, it seemed that there were too many of these imbeciles and they managed to destroy the seals, or rather, the seal couldn't handle the load of enemies. Naruto closed his eyes and sighed, kneeling down before the tombstones of his old friends. It was strange to call an old man and an old woman his friends, but they were. His hands trembled slightly as he touched the cold stone, his fingers tracing the names engraved with a mix of affection and sadness.
—"Don't worry, your daughter is in good hands. I won't let anything bad happen to her. As long as I live, she won't be alone," Naruto promised, swearing at his friends' gravestone. His words echoed in the air, charged with fierce determination. The wind blew gently, as if carrying his promise to the spirits of Carlos and Maria, assuring them that their daughter would be protected.

Naruto walked through the streets of the village, watching with gratitude as people slowly began to rebuild their homes. He knew it would take many years for this place to return to its former glory, but the effort and determination of the inhabitants was evident.
—"Naruto!" Nora approached him quickly, staring at him with concern,—"Are you okay?"
Naruto smiled, trying to reassure her,— "I'm better now."
Soon after, everyone else joined them. Ren patted him on the back, a comforting gesture in his own style, while Ruby hugged him tightly, conveying her unconditional support.
—"Alright, guys. I've been depressed for three days. I hope you guys have done something productive. So, tell me, how bad is this village?" Naruto asked, trying to focus on the current situation.
—"Food is scarce," said Ruby, with a worried expression on her face.
—"The infrastructure is deteriorating more and more. At this rate, even if they fix their houses, they won't last long. They need to do everything from the foundations up. The roads are deteriorating," Ren added, with his usual scrutiny and analysis.
Naruto nodded, processing the information. But what surprised him the most was what Nora said,— "The situation is precarious. The food grown in this area has been completely decimated, and the leftovers in the silos have already been almost entirely consumed. They can't import food due to lack of money and foreign exchange. They have no means of transport to import food, and they have no dust. At this rate, if winter comes, they won't be able to survive. They'll have to migrate somewhere else."
Naruto blinked, taking it in. Ren blinked as well, while Ruby looked at her with a mix of concern and determination.
—"What?" Nora asked.
—"You know, Nora, you have the innate ability to always surprise me. If I ever have a daughter, I want her to look like you and for you to be her godmother. You would be a very good influence," Naruto said with a sincere smile.
Ren shook his head fervently. Nora as a godmother? Although he loved his friend very much, he didn't consider her a good example. Nora was more of an instigator of recklessness, like Naruto himself in his life. He already had enough chaos with those, he didn't need three.
At that moment, Naira slowly approached the group. She had been watching them from a distance, but Naruto had noticed her from the beginning.
—"Are you going to leave?" she asked in a soft voice.
—"Not without making sure you'll be okay first," Naruto replied, looking at her with determination.
Naruto then took out a storage scroll and extended it out to almost 50 meters away. Ruby, Ren, and Nora had never seen that scroll before. Where did he get it from? And what did he keep in it?
Naruto placed his hand over the sheet of paper, and suddenly, a seal appeared on the white paper. With a loud "puff!", a cloud of white smoke dissipated, revealing countless boxes of food. Ruby, Ren, and Nora had to look up to see the massive pile of boxes that had materialized before them.
They were left speechless, as were all the townspeople who had witnessed the scene.
Naruto looked at his team and Ruby with determination,— "We'll fix this place. Take these boxes, take them to the shelter and distribute them to every citizen of this village."
Nora saluted, smiling enthusiastically, —"Understood!" She immediately grabbed a box and headed towards her destination. Ruby, for her part, used her semblance of speed to get the job done quicker, moving like lightning between the houses.
Ren also proceeded to do the same, but paused for a moment, frowning, —"Wait a minute, if I'm not mistaken, there's food here," he said, looking at Naruto curiously. Naruto nodded, wondering what point Ren was getting at.
—"Why are you hunting animals if you had this much food?" Ren asked, a mix of confusion and curiosity in his voice.
Naruto smiled, shrugging, "I like hunting," he replied simply, a spark of amusement in his eyes.
Ren stared at him in disbelief for a moment, but then let out a soft laugh,— "You always have an unexpected answer."
Meanwhile, Nora and Ruby were already distributing the boxes among the villagers. The people welcomed them with gratitude, their faces lighting up with hope. Naruto watched the scene with satisfaction, feeling that despite the difficulties, they were on the right path to rebuild the village.
Naira approached Naruto, watching as her team worked tirelessly, —"You do a lot for this village, Naruto."
Naruto looked at her, his expression softening, —"I couldn't do it without them. We're a team, and together, we can overcome any obstacle."
Naira nodded, feeling a renewed determination, —"Then let's move on. There's a lot of work to do."
-{}-
Naruto distributed food all over the village, giving everything he had. He had practically nothing left, but he knew that this would help lift people's spirits. Besides, he wasn't going to stop there; he fully intended to rebuild this place from scratch, down to the last brick.
He began to direct the people in their work. First, they cleared all the roads. Little by little, every citizen got up early to help, and soon everyone joined in the common effort. Naruto assigned a special job to Ruby, Ren, and Nora: the fields. They would plow the land, since the machines used for this did not have dust to work with. With their skills, they were like supermen and could handle this task.
Naruto decided to build the village with his own hands. Although he could have used clones to speed up the process, he decided against it. The beauty of returning everything to the way it was before lay in one's own efforts, and these people needed this; they needed to stand on their own two feet. Every day, Naruto worked tirelessly, guiding the others and making sure that each task was carried out with precision and care.
From a distance, Ruby watched the scene. She smiled, feeling her heart warm at the sight of Naruto like this. This was fantastic. This was the Naruto she had always known. Maybe he was grumpy, maybe he was teasing, and yes, maybe he was a little perverted, but he never left anyone alone. If something bad happened, he was always there to help, no matter who it was, no matter if they treated him badly or rejected him. Naruto was always there.
Ruby knew Naruto meant it when he said we should look away from other people's problems and leave them to their own devices. But she also knew that his heart wasn't that hard. The moment he saw other people's problems, he couldn't be indifferent. This was innate in him; he was a softie. And that was why Ruby admired him so much. Naruto was a good person.

While everyone else was busy building their own homes, Naruto was in Naira's old house. With dedication and care, he cleaned the entire place until it was left as an empty plain.
As time went by, that plain began to fill with pillars, and then, brick by brick, the structure began to take shape. Naruto was not going to leave Naira in that situation; he would rebuild his friend's house just as she remembered it.
—"Naruto, it's really not necessary," Naira insisted, worried about the effort he was putting in.
—"Don't worry, Naira. I want to do it," Naruto replied with a smile, as he placed another brick in its place.
Naruto was extremely skilled at building houses. He estimated that it would take him approximately two months to have Naira's house completely finished. It was a five-story house with many rooms, more of an inn than a simple house.
—"Five floors? Don't you think that's a bit exaggerated?" Naira joked, trying to lighten the mood.
—"Not at all!" Naruto replied, laughing, —"Besides, I'm not doing anything you don't remember."
Every day, Naruto worked tirelessly, from dawn to dusk. His hands moved with precision and speed, and his face showed unwavering determination. Naira, although she kept insisting that it wasn't necessary, couldn't help but feel touched by her friend's efforts.
—"Naruto, you are amazing. I don't know how to thank you," Naira said one day, while bringing him some food.
—"You don't have to thank me, Naira. Seeing your smile when all this is over will be enough, but a kiss wouldn't hurt," he replied, accepting the food with a smile.
She blushed.
And so, brick by brick, Naira's house took shape, reflecting not only Naruto's skill, but also his deep love and commitment to his friend.
—"Naruto!" Naira shouted, causing the boy to stop hammering and look down from the third floor where he was working—"Get down from there! Come eat!"
Naruto, hearing Naira's voice, put down his tools and looked down. There she was, holding several bentos prepared especially for him. With the agility that always surprised her, Naruto quickly descended to the ground.
"I'm always impressed by how quickly you come down," Naira commented with a smile, as she offered him the food.
—"It's one of the perks of being a hunter... In training," Naruto replied, winking as he took one of the bentos.
Naira watched Naruto as he ate. She couldn't help but admire him, even in his tattered state covered in cement and wood shavings. Despite everything, he looked downright stunning, with a rugged and very desirable air about him.
—"What are you looking at?" Naruto asked, with a mischievous smile as he noticed Naira's gaze.
—"Nothing, just... I'm glad you enjoyed the food," she replied, quickly looking away, feeling her cheeks blush.
Naruto continued to eat with gusto, and Naira couldn't help but feel touched by his dedication. Despite being exhausted, he always found time to thank her with a smile.
—"You know, Naira, this food is delicious. You should open a restaurant," Naruto said, joking as he took another bite.
—"And who would be in charge of building it?" she replied, playing along.
—Me, of course. But only if you promise to give me free food for life," Naruto said, laughing.
Naira laughed too, feeling the tension melt away. She enjoyed Naruto's company and his jokes.
—"Deal," she said, smiling, "But only if you finish building my house first."
—"Done!" Naruto replied, raising his bento in a toast before continuing to eat.
And so, between laughter and jokes, time passed, and the relationship between Naruto and Naira grew even stronger, while Naira's house continued to take shape.
Ever since Naruto arrived, the entire village seemed to be doing better than ever. Although they still faced problems with food, the construction of the village was progressing by leaps and bounds. Naruto had assured them not to worry about food, as he would take care of it. Naira didn't know how he would do it, but she saw her friends plowing the land and preparing new, really huge farming areas.
Seeing Naruto try so hard, especially for her, made her heart warm. Every day, he worked tirelessly, and his dedication was evident in every pillar he put in place.
—"Naruto, how do you plan to solve the food problem?" Naira asked one day, while watching him work.
—"Trust me, Naira. I have a plan," he replied with a smile, without stopping.
Naira knew that Naruto would leave one day, but she frankly didn't want that to happen. She wouldn't allow it. Her thoughts overwhelmed her, luckily Naruto couldn't read minds.
Meanwhile, Kurama patiently watched his jailer, waiting for him to finally realize the obvious.
—"Hey, I'm fed up. I think we need to talk about the huge elephant in the room," Kurama said, interrupting Naruto's thoughts.
Naruto, while tasting the food Naira had prepared for him, answered his tenant.
—"What's wrong, Kurama?"
—"Okay, it seems like the things that have happened have clouded your mind and judgment, but don't go overboard, okay?"
—"I still don't understand ," Naruto said, frowning.
Kurama sighed in frustration. "Okay, I'll put it this way. Remember when you were holding the hand of that human named Nora? When you put your forehead against hers and were dangerously close enough to kiss her."
Naruto blushed at the memory. Yes, it was unconscious, but he didn't make that move with the intention of kissing Nora, and Kurama knew it.— "She mentioned a curious little detail about her life..." Kurama let the sentence hang in the air, hoping Naruto would remember.
—"And what is that detail?" Naruto asked, clearly confused.
Kurama rolled his eyes. —"Kuroyuri," he said, waiting for a reaction. Naruto raised an eyebrow, not understanding what Kurama was getting at or why he would mention that name.
—"Okay ," Kurama massaged his forehead, visibly exasperated ,— "Let's recap. What's your backstory?"
—"Well, I'm an orphan boy who studied at the Empire Academy. The village I lived in was completely decimated by a Grimm. That village was called... Kuro...yuri," Naruto opened his eyes wide, finally understanding . —"God, it can't be!"
Kurama sighed in frustration.— "Ah, it's about time! Damn it," he cried, relieved but still irritated.
Naruto, who was eating his food, nearly choked. —"Nora and Ren come from the same village I was supposedly born in," he said, his eyes wide. "Oh god, I've screwed up monumentally. The lie is so involved now that I just don't have the courage to tell them the truth. How am I going to tell them 'Hey, I wasn't actually born in the village you guys lived in, I'm just a traveler and I used to live in a town called Konoha'? First, they won't believe me, and second, they'll get mad at me."
Kurama, though amused, couldn't help but scold him. —"That's why I told you to make up the name of a fucking town, not look one up in the damn disaster records!" he shouted, but this time with a mocking smile.
Naruto scratched his head nervously.— "I'm sure I was the one who came up with the idea to come up with a name... but never mind, t-this conversation never happened," he stammered, trying to convince himself.
Kurama laughed. —"I don't think you should ignore this problem, you know, it might bite you in the ass later."
Naruto shook his head, determined not to confront the situation. "No, this never happened ," he repeated, as if saying it out loud in his mind made it more real.

The farmland was already ready, a vast plowed plain that stretched as far as the eye could see. The news spread quickly: Naruto was going to do something with that land, and that expectation captured the attention of the entire village.
What could he do with the farmland? Winter was fast approaching, and there was not enough time for the crops to grow and mature.
Naruto looked at Ruby, Ren, and Nora, exhausted. Even for them, experienced hunters, plowing the land alone had been a herculean task. It had taken them almost a month and a half to complete the job, not only plowing the land, but also preparing new crop areas and watering the seeds, especially the wheat.
Naruto walked to the center of the fields, where he touched the earth that was fading between his fingers in the wind. He felt the weight of responsibility on his shoulders, but also an unwavering determination.
—"Are you really going to do this, Naruto?" Kurama asked, raising an eyebrow skeptically.
—"This will serve as training, and besides, I can't stand by while people suffer ," Naruto replied firmly.
—"I thought we were supposed to ignore other people's problems and focus on ourselves ," Kurama said with a mocking smile.
—"I guess I lied," Naruto said, with a tone of resignation and boredom.
The fox, for his part, just smiled. This kind-hearted idiot would never change, and it was nice to see that.
Naruto sat on the ground, crossing his legs and placing his hands in a meditative position. The wind whispered around him, caressing his face with a gentle breeze. He had been training hard, following Kurama's teachings on transforming energy and harnessing the force of nature.
Kurama had told him about natural energy, a source of power that he could absorb and use. The fox was teaching him the sage mode, a difficult and demanding art. He had never trained so much in his life, and the fatigue was not only physical, but also mental. Mental fatigue was what exhausted him the most, but Naruto did not give up.
Kurama himself didn't have a Sage Mode to teach him, as that required a contract with some sort of summoning animal. However, the best he could do was teach him how to process the natural energy in his body and create a standard Sage Mode. Naruto didn't quite understand what Kurama meant by that, but he didn't care. What mattered was that this ability made him stronger.
Naruto knew he had to be very careful when processing the natural energy of the world. One mistake, one distraction, and boom! He would turn to rock. That possibility scared him greatly. He clearly remembered the first time he saw his hand turn to stone. Panic filled him, but Kurama expelled the natural energy from his body and his hand returned to normal. From that moment on, Naruto was much more careful with what he did.
Naruto had to prepare his body for the natural energy to seep into his system, transforming into chakra. His mind had to remain calm, unruffled, and focused. When the natural energy entered his body, it felt like water caressing his skin, a comfortable but deceptive sensation. This energy seemed to have a consciousness of its own, or perhaps it was simply chaotic, trying to disperse in all directions. Naruto had to force it to come to him, and that's when the problems began. It was as if the energy wanted to push him away, causing a sharp pain, as if he were hitting his fingers with a hammer. It wasn't a pleasant experience, but rather a painful and challenging one.
It was similar to trying to sink a ball in water. If you hit it, the ball would come back with force. The best way was to gently sink it with your hand, an analogy Kurama had used, though it was far from what Naruto actually felt. Natural energy was capricious and difficult to handle, but Naruto did not give up. He knew he had to master it in order to become stronger.
Over time, his training had improved. It no longer hurt as much to filter the natural energy into his body. Now, the pain felt more like a blow from a stick instead of a hammer blow. It might not have sounded like much of an improvement, but to Naruto, it was a significant advancement.
Everyone watched expectantly as Naruto sat on the ground for three hours. The tension in the air was palpable, and the curiosity of the village grew with each passing minute.
Ruby, a little hesitant, tried to call out to Naruto. —"Uh, ha, Naruto, what are you doing?" she asked, but Naruto simply ignored her, his concentration unwavering.
—"Naruto, the village is looking at us strangely," Nora said strangely, her eyes reflecting concern. Naruto didn't answer, his mind was somewhere else, beyond words.
—"Naruto, could you explain to us what you do? You know, to tell the village about your actions so you don't look like a complete madman," Ren said, with a sincere tone. And it was true, the village was starting to get impatient. What was going on? What was the point of all this? They had plowed the fields, but now Naruto was just sitting on the ground.
Unnoticed, everyone began to feel it. The atmosphere became strange, as if it vibrated with an invisible energy. A small tinkling sound, like the sound of a distant bell, resonated in the air. The wind seemed to focus on a single point: Naruto. It was a soft, silky wind, which gently caressed his skin.
Naruto began to breathe calmly, his face showing a mix of dismay and serenity. Each inhalation and exhalation was a balancing act, a dance between pain and inner peace. His friends watched in silence, feeling the transformation taking place before their eyes.
Ruby frowned, her concern mixed with admiration. —"What is he doing?" she muttered to herself, unable to take her eyes off Naruto.
Nora, always energetic, bit her lip, trying to contain her impatience.— "I hope this is worth it," she said quietly, although deep down she trusted Naruto.
Ren, with his usual calm, watched intently.— "We must have faith in him," he said, his words a reminder to everyone of the trust they had in their friend.
A faint layer of blue energy enveloped Naruto, who felt a surge of energy approaching him. Ren and his friends might not be able to sense it, but he could. He could not only see it, but feel it as well.
The purpose was not to transform that energy into chakra, but to redirect it somewhere else. Naruto absorbed the natural energy of the world, knowing that he had to do so. The energy within him was corrupted, just like the world, after so many years of war, death, and despair. If Naruto redirected that energy into the ground, it would render it sterile and useless forever. Instead, he had to purify it, release all the negative. But how to purify something so corrupt?
As Naruto absorbed the natural energy, he felt voices, screams of despair, and the presence of death. How to cure something so full of rage? Naruto didn't consider himself the best for this task; Ruby would be more suitable. However, he would give it his all. He ignored the voices around him, the anger, the fury, and the sadness, and remembered happy times, when everything was simple and Pyrrha was with him. His heart lit up with those memories.
Then, Ren opened his eyes, as did everyone else. Naruto began to glow gold. A golden layer of faint energy surrounded him, seeping beneath him and spreading across the field. The golden energy illuminated the sunset, creating a downright beautiful sight. Nora tried to catch those little golden flecks, but they vanished in her hands.
—"Incredible," Nora murmured, amazed.
Naruto closed his eyes, concentrating on the energy flowing through him. He felt every particle of negativity being purified, transformed into light.
And then, they saw something astonishing. The seeds they had planted in the ground began to emerge as tiny sprouts. Little by little, they began to grow. This was not like Hashirama's ability to instantly make nature grow; no, this was more like infusing life itself with energy, urging it to emerge with strength and vitality.
Naruto opened his eyes, knowing his work was done. He took a deep breath, feeling the peace emanating from the revitalized field.
—"Naruto! That was amazing!" Nora shouted excitedly, her eyes shining with admiration.
—"That was awesome, you have to teach me!" Ruby exclaimed, her enthusiasm brimming over.
—"How did you do that?" Ren asked, his voice filled with wonder and curiosity.
A cheer rang out loudly. Everyone cheered Naruto's name, happy and grateful. Every single person seemed beaming with joy, and Naruto smiled, though his gaze was lost.
—"¿Naruto?... ¡Naruto!"
Naruto collapsed to the ground,
