Kingdom Come
At the Peek of the Wailing Alps, Morro, Soul Archer and Bansha watched as the Blind Man's Eye flew further and further away. Bansha was currently in the middle of saying some kind of chant while Morro growled in frustration, "Those cursed Ninja! I need to get Cloud Kingdom now." He stated impatiently.
"Patience, Morro." Soul Archer said, trying to calm the Master of Wind down. "Wanting to get to the Cloud Kingdom will not bring its portal any closer."
"But I hate waiting!" Morro yelled stubbornly, almost whiningly. "It's beneath me! If the Ninja get the Sword of Sanctuary before we do, they'll have the upper hand."
"I've never known you to worry?" Soul Archer said, circling around him,
It's this incessant boy trying to break free of my possession!" Morro stated as he growled.
Bashna then turned to them. "You will not have to wait any longer, Morro." She assured him.
But how?" Soul Archer questioned. "The gateway won't pass for hours."
"Let's just say I'm in contact with someone willing to leave the back door open," Bansha said while gesturing to Blind Man's Eye as the two smirked, finally having a way in.
In the Cloud Kingdom, as the Ninja approached the gate, a middle aged man in gold, brown and grayish blue robes approached them. "Welcome to Cloud Kingdom. We've been expecting you." He said to them as the Ninja looked surprised.
"Um, how are we..?" Jay tried to ask him as he looked at the fact that they were standing on clouds.
"Standing on a cloud?" The man finished for him. "Easy, in other realms, there are other rules. I'm Fenwick. I've been asked to show you around." He said as he gave a brow.
"Nice to meet you. I'm-" Kai tried to say before the man interrupted him.
"Kai Smith, yes we all know." Fenwick said with a smile. "You're quite popular with the other monks. Up here, we see everything that goes on in Ninjago."
"Then you know-" Cole tried to say.
"You've traveled far for the Sword of Sanctuary." Fenwick said with a smile. "A powerful weapon that can foresee your opponent's next attack. It's also the second clue to finding the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master."
"Yeah because we need it to save-" Melissa tried to get out.
"To save your boyfriend, Lloyd Garmadon from Morro's possession, yes a terrible thing to watch your friends be harmed by your own hands," Fenwick finished for her.
"Blimey!" Zane asked in shock. "But how did you-?"
"Finishing your sentences?" Fenwick finished with a smile. "I know, it's rather annoying, but up here we know, let's just say, we know what's going to come next. Come, I know Morro isn't far behind. Follow me. I'll explain." He instructed as he guided the Ninja into Cloud Kingdom.
Back in Ninjago, Ghoul-Tar was in a cage on the Bounty as he tried to break or phase through, but couldn't. "Deepstone bars. You're never getting out of here." Nya said with a serious tone. "Now tell us, what's in the tomb that's so important?"
"What does Morro want?" Wu demanded.
"Ghoul-Tar never talk." Ghoul-Tar said before he realized what he said. "Oops, Ghoul-Tar talked. Oh, Ghoul-Tar no talk from now on." He said firmly as he crossed his arms.
"Oh, I'll get him talking." Ronin said with a glare as he ready his Aeroblade but Wu stopped him.
"No, Ronin, we must find another way to get answers out of him." Wu said to him as Ghoul-Tar gave a sinister laugh.
"Well we'll probably get answers somehow, because this ghost, doesn't seem that bright." Rachel said with a cringe.
"Let him laugh." Misako said with a smile. "The Ninja are already in Cloud Kingdom and well ahead of Morro. Let's just hope they can find the Sword of Sanctuary before it's too late."
"We must use our time wisely." Wu said to them. "Come, Nya, there's still training to be done. As for Ghoul-Tar, keep an eye on him, Ronin." He said as they walked out.
"Don't worry, old man. I've got him." Ronin assured with a smirk as he eyed Ghoul-Tar.
Back in Cloud Kingdom, Fenwick then guided them into a building where there were many monks and scrolls around while having a bell in the middle as each of them chatted in awe at seeing the Ninja.
"I know you are familiar with a few of the realms." Fenwick spoke up. "Cloud Kingdom is just one more of the 16 realms that exist parallel to Ninjago."
"Sixteen Realms?" Melissa asked in surprise.
"In this realm, we strive for greater understanding and let go of distractions." Fenwick continued. "There is no television, no video games-"
"No video games?!" Jay asked in shock as he gave a scoff and crossed his arms. "Not impressed."
"It appears all any lad does here be writing." Zane noted, seeing many monks writing on scrolls.
"That is because here, our words matter." Fenwick said with a smile as he gestured to a monk writing next to them. "You see, in Cloud Kingdom, we are the writers of Destiny. It was here it was decided that Lloyd and you, Melissa, should be the Ninjas of Yin and Yang." He explained as he held up the scroll. "And just now, Zane should find his voice again."
"I sense my vocal patterns have returned without any repairs," Zane said with a hand to his head as he talked in his normal voice..
"It's astounding, your voice modulator is working as if it was never damaged," Pixal said in amazement.
"Aww! He doesn't talk like a pirate anymore!" Jay complained.
"How'd that happen?" Cole asked in surprise and a bit amused while Jay walked off to tend to his nose.
"It was written." Fenwick said with a smile.
Jay then went up next to a monk. "Hey, guys, he's writing about Dareth." He said as he accidently spilled the bottle of ink as it splattered onto Dareth's destiny scroll.
In Ninjago City, Dareth was driving the car that Kai used during the Digital Overlord's reign. He then passed a girl in a car and whistled and honked his horn to get her attention, "Hey, what up?" Dareth flirted and waved but the girl just gave a scoff and then gasped as Dareth foolishly took his eyes off the road and was heading for a mixing truck, "Ah! Nonono!" He cried out before he crashed into the truck as wet cement then him as the girl drove past her with a laugh.
"Oh, poor Dareth." The monk said as he tried to wipe the ink off as Jay gave a sheepish chuckle at his mistake.
Melissa looked around the place as she didn't see a young girl bump into her. "Oh I am so sorry kid, let me help you." She said as she helped the little girl on her feet.
The girl looked at her with wide eyes. "I-It's fine. I was just, writing." She said as she quickly walked off, while Melissa gave a brow at her before shrugging as she and the others continued following Fenwick.
"Um, if you know what's gonna happen next, then you know how important it is for us to get the Sword of Sanctuary." Kai said to him.
Yes, and I know you made a promise to save your friend, Lloyd." Fenwick nodded as he frowned. "Sadly, we cannot ensure promises, because we aren't allowed to choose sides." He said as they all stopped again, Fenwick looked around in concern before he turned to the NInja. "And no one else will tell you this, but we had intended for Morro to stay in the Cursed Realm." He whispered, which shocked the others.
"What do you mean 'intended'?" Cole questioned.
"Wait, Morro was supposed to stay in the Cursed Realm?" Melissa asked in shock, getting what Fenwick was talking about.
"Yes. But he somehow defied destiny." Fenwick explained as the Ninjas looked in shock. "And now we're playing catch up." He then went to Cole. "Do you think we wanted you to become a ghost? That's preposterous. Ever since Morro broke free, things have been happening outside of our control. To be honest, we don't know how this will end."
Melissa facepaled herself hearing that. "Guys, remind me to punch Ronin in the face for being the reason why Morro escaped." She said to the others.
"Hmmhmm." The boys nodded.
"Look, Mr. Fenwick, sir. If this is serious, then give us the sword." Melissa said to him. "We'll find the tomb and stop Morro."
"Look, we want to give it to you, but first the Master Writer wants to see you." Fenwick said as they made their way to the door.
"Fine, then show us this Master Writer." Melissa said as they exited the door while two monks, one who is a boy with tinted hair, the other was the little girl that Melissa bumped into with a black hair in a large bun, watched them go, surprised by what the Purple Ninja said and looked at each other.
Back in NInjago, Ghoul-Tar was dancing to familiar music as he danced to the beat while Ronin watched. "Ghoul-Tar did good?" Ghoul-Tar asked him with a laugh.
"Heh, with basic vocabulary? Not so much." Ronin taunted. "But being big and nasty? You deserve a medal."
"Remember deal you made with Soul Archer?" Ghoul-Tar reminded Ronin, which made Ronin stop the music as he stood up.
"Quiet, you nasty ball of gas." Ronin hissed.
"Convincing you were back in Samurai Cave." Ghoul-Tar reminded with a smirk. "Maybe time to make good."
"I'll make good, but not now." Ronin said to him. "Don't worry, I'll keep my end of the bargain just as long as the Soul Archer keeps his." He added as he went closer to Ghoul-Tar.
"It will be our little secret." Ghoul-Tar nodded before he gave a sinister laugh while Ronin gave a conflicted look.
In the Cloud Kingdom, Fenwick brought the Ninja outside, "So, this Master Writer, he'll decide if we get the Sword just by looking at us?" Cole asked in confusion.
"It is an important decision, one that will not only decide the fate of Ninjago, but the fate of the Sixteen Realms" Fenwick answered as he moved the sailing boat as it pushed forward.
"Do you know what's inside the Tomb?" Melissa asked in wonder.
"I do," Fenwick answered as he then waved his wings, moving the clouds as they entered a swirling vortex to reveal a big blue giant diamond. "Morro's after the Realm Crystal. It's the doorway to the Sixteen Realms."
"Wow." Kai said in surprise and awed.
"The Realm Crystal?" Melissa asked in amazement.
"It is the doorway to any of the sixteen realms," Fenwick said as they soon appeared in a realm of jungles, plains and mountains with animal people wandering around with a floating mountain with eight animal heads carved in it while water flowed out from underneath. "It is a bridge to greater understanding Or a gateway to ruin." he continued as they soon arrived in a familiar realm.
"The Underworld." Cole said as they saw spiders and skeletons roaming around.
"You see, when the First Spinjitzu Master created the Realm Crystal, he knew the power to freely cross Realms could never fall into the wrong hands, which is why he buried it with him in his final resting place." He then waved his hand and changed the site to make it look like the Realm of Madness. "A Tomb protected by impossible traps that only a living Master of Spinjitzu could get by with the aid of the Sword of Sanctuary."
"But, I thought Morro just wanted to be the Green Ninja of Yang." Cole said in confusion. "What does he want with the crystal?"
"It is not Morro who sees the power to ruin, but his master. The Preeminent," Fenwick answered dreadfully as the Realm changed again to reveal a place the Ninja didn't recognize as everything looked like a giant ribcage and they saw many cursed ghosts flying around as they all yelled in fear before they turned and saw the shadowy figure of a giant creature with tentacles.
"And my fear of ghosts has just grown." Melissa muttered fearfully.
"The Cursed Realm." Kai realizes, seeing the realm that Garmadon was banished to before pointing at the giant creature. "He's in charge?"
"Not he, but she," Fenwick corrected. "Queen of the Cursed, an evil so vengeful, she cannot cross over by any other magical means." He then waved his hand to change the scenery to look like Ninjago as the Ninja gulped fearfully. "But if Morro uses the Crystal to free her, after cursing Ninjago, there will be no stopping her reign until every last Realm falls under her control." As he warned them, the same shadowy figure appeared in the vision of Ninjago, making it look dark and cursed with ghosts flying around, much like in the Cursed Realm. The Ninja looked on in shock as they returned to the tunnel while Fenwick waved his hands and moved the boat to an isolated building, relieving the Ninja who sighed in relief that it was over. "We're here! Wasn't that a lovely ride?"
"Yeah, you paint a real lovely picture," Kai commented as they walked over the doors of the building.
"Now if you just wait in here, I will be back with the Master Writer in a moment." Fenwick informed as the Ninja entered the building as Fenwick quickly closed the door and locked it as the Ninja gave confused expressions while Zane shrugged.
"Now, that's a ghost nightmare I don't wanna live in reality." Melissa said in fear. "Facing ghosts is one thing, but living in a world of them is a nightmare."
"Then that's why we need to find the tomb before Morro does." Kai said with determination as they saw some games, stuffed animals, and items lying around for kids.
"Oh, look, a pinball machine!" Jay said as he rushed up to the game. "Ah, it may not be a video game, but it's the next best thing." He said as he started playing.
"Strange place to meet this Master Writer." Zane said in suspicion.
"Yeah, I thought this place didn't have any distractions." Cole said as he looked around. "Looks to me like they just shoved them all up here."
Jay then gave a laugh. "Yeah!" He cheered as he kept playing the pinball.
"Jay, can you leave that stuff alone?" Melissa questioned. "We want to make a good first impression."
"Oh, just one game, whoever had this high score is going down." Jay said with a smirk as he kept going.
"That machine sounds strange." Zane noted before they heard a growl, which made Jay flinched back and yelped.
"Oh, that's not the machine!" Jay called in fear.
"Then what is it?" Kai asked as they grouped together before a large brown beast with electricity surging through his midsection as he roared at the five.
Back with the Monks, the two young monks from earlier were writing before the boy noticed his scroll's writing had turned red and gasped, "Euphrasia, look at this!" He said to the girl monk.
The girl looked at the scroll as she gasped. "Oh no! This is bad!" Euphrasia said as she took the scroll, "We have to show this to the Master Writer!" She said the boy nodded and they rushed off.
"Master Writer! Master Writer! It's the Ninja!" The boy cried out as he and Euphrasia rushed up to Fenwick, who was the Master Writer. "They're in terrible trouble!"
"Of course they are." Fenwick said with a smirk as the boy and Euphrasia gasped as they saw Morro and his two ghost partners. "Nobu, Euphrasia, do not be shy, our new guests and I have made a mutual arrangement. My destiny is secure." He said with a smirk as he turned to Morro and the two ghosts. "I am afraid the Ninja's are not."
"Where did you send the Ninja?" Nobu questioned.
"I locked them away with Nimbus." Fenwick answered, which shocked the two. "I'm sure Nimbus will love his new playthings" He added as Nobu and Euphrasia backed away from him.
"Now show me to the Sword of Sanctuary." Morro said with a smirk.
In Nimbus' room, Nimbus roared as he advanced towards the screaming Ninja. "I don't think he likes you trying to break his record." Kai said to Jay nervously as they backed away from him.
"There goes our good first impression," Cole muttered before they avoided Nimbus' toss.
"Is this the Master Writer?! He's in charge of our destiny?!" Zane exclaimed in fear as Melissa pulled him away.
"I don't think that is the Master Writer, Zane." Melissa said nervously.
"Whoever he is, I don't think he's handing over the sword." Kai said as Nimbus moved around to grab each of the Ninjas as he went up to Cole and Jay, who scattered as Jay tried to get the door open.
"It's locked!" Jay cried out. "Why would it be locked?!" He exclaimed as they all screamed as Nimbus grabbed Jay, sending an electric shock as he tossed Jay away as he landed on his butt while still getting shocked. "Okay, now I know how that feels." He muttered, wishing he had his powers to avoid the shocks.
"Melissa, use your powers!" Cole shouted.
Melissa nodded as she then focused her powers and they charged up as she then sent a blast at Nimbus, who was pushed back and crashed into the wall as the boys cheered on, but the celebration was too soon as Nimbus rose up again, looking even more ticked at them before.
"How tough is this guy?!" Jay questioned in shock.
"Tough enough to take on my powers full blast." Melissa said nervously as Nimbus gave another roar as he went up to the Ninja, which they all screamed as they moved away as Melissa went up to a giant teddy bear. "Over here, big guy!" She called as she waved her hands, which made Nimbus turn to her as she quickly backed away as Nimbus held up his giant teddy bear and nuzzled it. "Huh, he's like a big baby." She commented. "That's actually kinda cute."
This gave Kai an idea as he looked at a smaller one with a smirk. "Oh, you like your toys, huh?" He taunted as he picked up the bear, which made Nimbus roar angrily as Kai quickly held the arm. "Stay, big fella, or I'll break it." He warned as Nimbus backed away as he gave a prideful face. "Stay, stay." He repeated. "Hurry, find a way outta here." He said to the others.
The rest of the NInja then look for a way out as Cole then realizes something. "What am I doing? I'm a ghost." He said as he phased his hand through a wall as he walked through it completely to the outside. "Oh. I'm such a dummy." He muttered, forgetting he's a ghost as he rushed up to the door.
"You can undo the lock!" Jay called through the keyhole.
"I'm a ghost, not a locksmith. I need a key!" Cole pointed out.
"Be the key, Cole! Be the key!" Jay exclaimed.
"Huh. Good idea." Cole said as he then went into the keyhole as the others all screamed as they ran in circles while avoiding Nimbus before Cole finally got the door opened as the Ninja quickly exited it as they closed the door and Cole got out of the lock as they sigh in relief.
"You know, Cole, I'm starting to like you as a ghost more and more." Kai said with a smile.
"Yeah, you are the only ghost I can actualy handle." Melissa said, smiling as well.
"Look!" Zane called as he pointed ahead as the Ninja turned and saw Fenwick with Morro and his gang. "Morro is here! And he's with Fenwick!"
"Oh, traitorous Fenwick!" Jay added as the boys glared, "I knew I didn't like that snob!"
"Come on!" Cole said as they put on their hood and rushed off.
But what they didn't know is that Cole left the door unlocked as NImbus opened up and looked outside in curiosity.
Somewhere at a tall tower, Nobu and Euphrasia ran down the bridge as they ducked down and spotted Fenwick talking with Morro and his ghosts. "The Sanctuary is on the top floor," He informed as he walked off as Morro and his ghost entered the tower as the two monks caught their breaths before they heard familiar voices.
"Fingers tired. Legs about to give." Kai spoke up as Nobu and Euphrasia looked over the bridge and saw the Ninja climbing up.
"Ow! Stop using my face as a foothold!" Jay complained. "You're not making this any easier." He added as they climbed to the top of the bridge.
"You're alive!" Nobu cheered.
"Great relief." Euphrasia said in relief.
"No thanks to that Fibbing Fenwick," Melissa said with a glare.
"Fenwick is convinced there is no stopping the Queen of the Cursed Realm," Euphrasia explained to them, "So he's agreed to help her only to save himself,"
"But he doesn't know you've escaped." Nobu said with optimism. "You have to get the Sword of Sanctuary, or else Morro will have too big of an advantage." He warned.
"Tell us where it is." Cole said to the two monks.
"The sword is at the tallest tower." Euphrasia said as she pointed to the top of the tower. "But you must hurry, they're already headed there."
"No time to take the stairs then," Melissa said before smirking to the boys, "You boys thinking what I'm thinking?" She asked.
"Airjitzu!" Cole, Kai and Zane declared.
"Don't you mean, Cyclone-do?" Jay told them, but they only groaned at the name as Jay crossed his arms. "Why isn't it catching on?"
"Be careful, kids." Cole said to the monks.
"You too." Nobu said to them.
"Good luck, Ninja." Euphrasia said as she and Nobu rushed off.
"NINJA, GO!" The Ninja called as they used Airjitzu while hopping on each flying boat at a time as they made their way to the top as an elder monk yelped at them passing by.
"Sorry, just passing through," Cole said as he and the others continued to Airjitzu up.
At the top, Morro walked into the Sanctuary and saw a golden katana with a crystal blue guard and blue crystal on the blunt end. "The Sword of Sanctuary," He said in awe as he reached for it but then saw the Ninja coming at him in its reflection making him gasp and turn to the window only to see nothing. "Huh?" He asked as he looked at the blade again before he realized what it was for. "Ah." He then picked up the sword and got into ready position.
The Ninja then burst through the window as they took ready stances, just like he saw in the Sword's blade. They then attacked him as he easily dodged each of their moves. "Too late. I know your every move," He told them as he glanced at the Sword and let out a maniacal laugh.
"We'll see about that." Melissa challenged as the boys went and charged at him, but Morro easily blocked and avoided them as Melissa was about to deliver a kick, but Morro quickly grabbed her leg and tossed her away as he made it to the window with a victorious laugh as he looked at the blade before he jumped over to avoid Zane's Shurikens.
"I think he saw that too." Jay said.
"After him!" Melissa shouted as they all went out the window, but they quickly screamed as they formed a ninja chain as they were dangling from the edge.
"There he is!" Kai shouted as he turned to the side to see Morro.
"Get him!" Melissa ordered as they climbed back up and jumped over to the other building. But when Morro looked at the Sword, he jumped away to avoid a dogpile as the Ninja piled on each other.
"I hate that sword." Kai groaned as Morro landed on another building.
"Why fight?" Morro taunted in amusement. "I'll win every time."
"The future's never set in stone!" Melissa quipped with a glare. Morro then used his powers to remove the tiles and blow them onto the Ninja. "Watch out!" She called out as they did their best to block them as Morro did Airjitzu and flew off with a laugh.
"Cyclondo!" Jay called out as he and the rest of the Ninja did Airjitzu as they hopped to one building while Morro was at the other.
"Bye-bye, Ninja." Morro taunted as he jumped over the building and onto a boat that the ghost's possessed with ghost features on it. "Sing them a farewell song, Bansha." He said with a smirk under his mask.
Bansha then gave a loud shriek that blasted the Ninja away and they landed on a flying boat as an elder monk yelped again in surprise. "Still passing through." Cole said to him with a sheepish look. "On second thought, mind if we borrow your skiff?" He asked as the man looked at them in confusion.
Morro and his ghosts were heading to the Blind Man's Eye just over the city. "The eye. Perfect." He said with a smirk. "Now get us out of here!" He ordered, while behind them, the Ninja followed in their boat as they had trouble controlling it as they served around.
"Argh! How do you control this thing?!" Cole called out as they all yelped, but then their skiff got caught by Nimbus as he tried to get to the Ninja.
"Oh, not you again!" Melissa exclaimed in annoyance.
"Get him off! Morro's getting away!" Jay exclaimed as Nimbus roared while Nobu and Euphrasia watched as they saw Fenwick walking close to them.
"Oh no, we've got to do something!" Nobu said in worry.
"But how, we're scholars, not fighters!" Euphrasia reminded him, "Words are all we have!"
Nobu then got an idea, "That's it! Euphrasia you're a genius!" He cheered.
"I am?" Euphrasia asked in surprise.
"Come on! Let's go!" Nobu called out as Euphrasia gave a confused look as she followed while Fenwick watched the Ninja struggle with Nimbus with a smirk.
In the Scroll room, Nobu started searching through the scrolls of destiny. "Fenwick, Fenwick, Fenwick, Fenwick." He muttered before he gasped. "Aha!" He cheered as he grabbed a blank scroll with Fenwick's name on it as he turned to Euphrasia as they went to their table. "Let's change Fenwick's destiny a bit." He suggested while holding a quill.
"Agreed." Euphrasia nodded as she and him started writing.
As Fenwick was right next to Nimbus, the beast suddenly turned to him, staring for a moment before choosing to go after him. Fenwick screamed and ran off while Nimbus chased after him, while the Ninja continued to give chase to Morro.
"Hope Fenwick has fun with that thing." Melissa said with a smirk.
"Look, there!" Jay shouted as they saw Morro at the eye while they entered as well.
"Hang on to your buckets, gang! Looks like the ride ain't over yet!" Cole shouted as the two boats circled the Blind Man's Eye.
Both boats return to Ninjago, but they are then falling from the sky as Jay screamed. "Ah! Why aren't we flying anymore?!" Jay yelled in panic.
"Different Realm, Different Rules!" Melissa screamed as they then started sliding down the mountain as they made it next to Morro.
"Ahah! Got you now!" Kai shouted with confidence.
"You really think so?" Morro taunted as he then used the wind to steer away from them, which made them groan.
Zane then saw multiple trees ahead as Pixal analyzed them. "Obstacles detected. Collision certainty, 100 percent." Pixal informed.
"Abandon ship!" Zane screamed as their boat crashed into a tree, breaking it into pieces and sending the Ninja flying.
The Ghosts all laugh in victory but it was short lived as the Ninja had survived the crash and were using the broken pieces to slide after them, Kai and Cole on snowboards while Zane and Melissa were on skis as they all cheered.
Zane then laughed as he jumped over the ghosts. "Hello, haven't we met before?" He mocked in amusement.
Morro groaned in anger from this. "Don't they ever quit!?" He questioned in annoyance.
"You're one to talk to!" Melissa taunted with a smirk.
"And your ride is kinda slow, huh?" Kai taunted before he was hit by a tree.
Jay then slid down on the head of the ship as he was screaming in a panic for he could not control his sled when it jumped into the air and spun around before landing on the ground.
"Oh, why do I get the uncontrollable sled?!" Jay questioned in panic as he held on tight before hitting a bump that sent him flying in the air.
"Hold on, Jay!" Cole called out as he and the others followed behind. Soul Archer then fired an arrow at them as the Ninja passed them. Jay quickly ducks his head as the arrow flies over him as he looks up and gives a victorious laugh.
"Ha-ha! Missed!" Jay cheered.
"I never miss," Soul Archer stated as his arrow turned around and was about to hit Jay again, which he dodged, but the arrow turned again and was still heading towards Jay. The Lightning Ninja gave a scream as the arrow kept following him as he moved his sled around before he went into a broken tree trunk, which caused the arrow to hit it as it turned ghost-like as Jay sighed in relief and gave a small laugh as he kept sliding down.
Back on the Bounty, the group continued to bribe Ghoul-Tar for information with food, but the ghost wasn't budging. "Still won't talk, hmm?" Wu asked with a smirk. "Guess it's time to bring in the 'big buns'." He said as he turned to Misako, who was holding a tray of Puffy Potstickers. "He's all yours, Misako."
"Puffy Potstickers?" Misako offered with a smirk as she showed the tray to the ghost.
Ghoul-Tar looked at the dumplings as his mouth watered, "Ghoul-Tar not strong enough! Ghoul-Tar want!" He pleaded as he reached for the Potstickers.
"Ah-ah-ah, Ghoul-Tar doesn't get Puffy Potstickers until Ghoul-Tar tells heroes what heroes want to know," Luci teased while waving her finger.
"Oh! Ghoul-Tar tell everything!" Ghoul-Tar called, about to crack.
But then, the speakers went off. "Come in, Bounty! Come in!" Melissa shouted through the comms, which got the others' attention. "I hope your jets aren't cold, cause we're coming in hot!"
"The Ninja." Wu said in seriousness. "Everyone to your stations!" He ordered as they all rushed out of Ghoul-Tar's cell, dropping the food on the floor.
Ghoul-Tar gave a laugh at his luck as he was about to grab the Potstickers, but then saw that one of them dropped the keys by mistake, which made him gasp at his miracle.
On the bridge, the group watched the monitors and saw the Ninja chasing Morro down the mountain. "Morro has the Sword of Sanctuary!" Misako called out.
"We know what Morro wants in the Tomb," Melissa spoke through the comms. "He's after a Crystal that can unleash the Preeminent to curse the Sixteen Realms."
"That doesn't sound good." Luci muttered in concern.
"Then we must work together to make sure that doesn't happen." Wu said with seriousness. "Nya, get us into the action." He ordered as they rushed off.
"You heard what he said." Nya said to Ronin as she put on her mask.
"Why do you all run towards the action! We should be running away!" Ronin stated in worry as the Bounty then took flight and followed after the Ninjas and Morro until they flew next to his boat.
"Let's see how you like these water balloons." Nya said with a smirk as she armed the cannon with water balloons and fired at the ghosts, who avoided it as it hit Jay, soaking him as one of them tossed him up a bit.
"Hey! Watch it!" Jay yelled out to them.
"Sorry!" Nya called sheepishly as she loaded another water balloon, but Ghoul-Tar came in with a yell, making Nya react as he avoided his swipes with his scythe. Soul Archer then fired an arrow at the Bounty that was gonna hit Nya, but an Aeroblade flew by and destroyed it as Ghoul-Tar stepped back as the blade went back to Ronin as he caught it. "Good job, Ronin. But who's flying the ship?!" She called out.
"That would be me, I guess." Ronin said with a shrug before he quickly flipped back into the bridge and pulled the ship up as the bottom skidded on the ground a bit before it kept flying.
Nya continued fighting Ghoul-Tar, but the ghost jumped over the Bounty as he laughed and landed on his comrades' boat, but the second he got on, his extra weight was slowing them down. "You big oaf! How are you slowing us down!? You're a ghost!" Morro stated in bewilderment.
"Ghoul-Tar likes Puffy Potstickers." Ghoul Tar said sheepishly as he rubbed his stomach.
The anchor then dropped down with Wu on it, "Need a lift?" He asked as the boys then jumped onto the Anchor.
Melissa just kept skiing down. "Go! I can catch them!" She called as she went ahead while the others were hoisted up back at the Bounty. Melissa took out her Aeroblade as Morro looked at the reflection and saw Melissa about to throw it.
"Watch out!" Morro called out to his ghost comrades as Melissa shockingly sent a blast of her dark energy that the three ghosts jumped out of the way of while Morro yelped and ducked down as the blast knocked over the mast while the three ghosts landed face first in the snow, which Melissa avoided as she caught her blade and went next to the boat "You again!" He growled.
"You say that like it's a bad thing!" Melissa countered as she threw her Aeroblade at Morro, who ducked as it unleashed a wind blast, which Melissa quickly grabbed the mast and jumped aboard as she faced Morro while retrieving her blade.
Morro and Melissa were now face to face with each other. "You are gonna try and face me?!" He asked with a taunt. "Aren't you supposed to be scared of me?!"
"Oh I am absolutely terrified." Melissa said with a look. "But that's not gonna stop me from kicking your ghostly ass back to the Cursed Realm where you belong!"
On the Bounty, the others watched until the boat was out of sight. "We lost sight of Melissa!" Kai shouted.
"Keep following them!" Wu shouted to the bridge.
Melissa and Morro kept clashing weapons while Melissa was having trouble with him since he had the Sword of Sanctuary while predicting her moves. "I guess both our fates are tested! The thing is, I already know how mine will end." Morro said with a smirk as he left himself open.
Melissa gasped as she realized she couldn't hurt Lloyd's body since Lloyd was still in there, which Morro knew as she swung her weapon, but missed on purpose as Morro gave a laugh and kicked her back and swung the sword and caught Melissa's Aeroblade. "And now I know how yours will." Morro added with a look as he yelled and lifted the Sword up.
"You fight someone unarmed?!" Melissa questioned in disbelief. "And also would you actually punch a girl?!"
"That's a good question." Morro said with a smirk as he paused for a moment. "YES!" He shouted as he was about to swing the Sword as Melissa looked around, but then Morro groaned as he closed his eyes shut.
"Melissa, take the sword!" Lloyd's voice spoke out. "I can't hold him much longer!" He urged as he shakingly held out the Sword of Sanctuary to her.
Melissa looked surprised by this. "Lloyd?" She asked as Morro/Lloyd fought for control as he fell down while Melissa quickly grabbed the sword as she held him. "You can fight him, Lloyd! You're stronger than he is! Just fight him!" She pleaded as Lloyd gave a small smile before he groaned as Morro took control and stood up as Melissa picked up her Aeroblade. "Lloyd! Fight him! Please!"
Morro/Lloyd grunted as each side struggled to take control before Morro regained control of Lloyd's body as Melissa looked at the Sword and saw him about to deliver an air kick as Melissa duck down as Morro flew over him. "I hate to spoil what's next, but just because you're in my boyfriend's body, watch out!" She shouted as she kicked Morro back, which made him groan as he glared at her. "I think you're going down." She taunted as she then did Airjitzu and flew up. "Right… now!"
Morro's boat then went over the cliff, which made Morro stammer before he and the boat fell as Morro screamed as he vanished through the clouds while Melissa watched.
"I'm sorry, Lloyd." Melissa apologized in guilt, hoping that Lloyd would understand as she jumped on the trees and Airjitzued up to the Bounty as the ship then took off away from the mountain as the others all went to Melissa as they all cheered.
"You got the sword, but how?" Wu asked Melissa in amazement at seeing her having the Sword of Sanctuary.
"What else?" Melissa asked with a small smile. "By working together. Lloyd fought Morro like the true hero he is." She added, which made Misako smile, now knowing that her son is still fighting Morro.
Rachel and Luci approached their daughter and put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry sweetie, we will save him from Morro's possession." Rachel assured her.
"And if Morro defied destiny, then why not us?" Cole asked with a smirk.
"He may have gotten Airjitzu first--" Zane started.
"Ahahah, you mean Cyclondo!" Jay corrected with a smirk as Zane sighed.
"We are not calling it Cyclondo, Jay!" Melissa said with a look.
"But we got the sword!" Cole finished as they all cheered again at their victory while behind ahead of Morro.
"Now all we have to do is find the Tomb, then it's smooth sailing." Wu said with a smile.
"But who here knows where the Tomb is?" Ronin asked suddenly, which made everyone groan since they don't know where the Tomb is. "Oh, come on, you all seemed so confident!"
Nya gave a groan. "You've ruined everything." She muttered.
"You know, that actually reminds me." Melissa said as she slowly approached Ronin.
"And what's that?" Ronin asked before Melissa walked up to with a natural look.
"This isn't gonna go well for him, huh?" Cole asked with a brow.
"No it is not." Luci said, shaking her head.
Melissa then raised her leg back and then kicked Ronin really hard between the legs. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" He screamed so loud that it echoed the sky as he held his groin and fell to his knees and to his side while the others cringed painfully by what just happened while Melissa gave a satisfying smirk.
"That's for being the reason why all of this is happening in the first place." Melissa said with a look as she turned to the others. "I gotta be honest, he had it coming for a long time."
"No argument there." Nya said with a smirk as they all shared a laugh while the Bounty flew off to the sunset as the Ninja are well ahead of Morro now and they are one step closer in finding the Tomb and getting the Realm Crystal before Morro does.
