The flame orb touches the ground to rapidly expand into a giant blast as big as the landmass, vaporizing the massive island and the water around it. The raw explosive force is shaking the whole planet with her laughing her head off.
"Look at those fools burn. Their meaningless lives are put out just like that. How pathetic," she said as millions of lives were gone in a flash by Maria's whims. And within a whim, Maria used the power of the Phantom Gem to recreate Downunda as if nothing happened to it. "Back from the dead. I have become a creator and destroyer," she said, feeling the power of the gem between her breasts, making her strong and powerful like a goddess.
She waves her hand pulsing with Chao energy to make the new Downunda vanish only to see a huge crater and ocean water scattered from the sheer heat still lodged into the crater. "My body is adjusting to the power of the Phantom Ruby which is making me even stronger than before," Maria flexes her 6 golden white burning bird wings with her rising power shaking the world and making every person here know who the real power is here.
She places her hand on her chest feeling the gemstone under her blue dress. "Well, I have planted the seeds of doom within this world. All I need to do is see and watch it all go downhill," Anti Maria said with a devilish smile to use Chaos Control to get out of there to show the world her terrible new powers.
Back within the underwater island, everyone felt that terrible power shaking the area. "Gee, what is that," Belle said as Ivo knew what it did without researching it.
"My cousin is flexing her new power. Send a drone to see what happened," Ivo said as Belle nodded her head to send out a Spybot to go to the location.
Belle can see Bernie deliver her their next Anarchy Bery. "Gee, what a shake-up," Bernie said.
"Goodness, we are so close to getting out of this awful place," Belle said to place the gemstone into a slot to see a huge machine within the building.
"Is this machine right?" Bernie asked.
"Yep, all we need is the remaining gemstones to get out of here to be within our new home in your dimension," Belle said.
"Yeah, what's that earthquake?" Bernie asked.
"The Doctor said it was Maria trying her new powers. Enough to shake the whole planet," Belle said looking through her eyes to see through the Spybot to see something truly horrible. "Goodness. Sir, Downunda is destroyed. Nothing but a massive crater in the ocean," she said in disbelief.
"Damn it, Maria is drunk on her new power. Still a demon with even more power," Ivo said feeling his spine shiver from this act of heartlessness.
"This is concerning. Rosy is pretty strong but this Maria is on another level," Bernie said.
"You have no idea, madam. We advise no one to fight her. At our current level, winning against her is a 1 in a million chance," Belle said as she taps her head. "I managed to punch the numbers," Belle said.
"I see, well we will leave that person behind," Bernie said.
"She knows about the other Multiverses out there like your own. She will use the power of the Phantom Ruby to cross over realities powered by her own Chaos energy. She has become the biggest threat to all things," Belle said looking very scared by this.
At the end of the day, Mina is getting ready to go with her husband to hang out with O'Nux, Tikal, and Lara-Su at a popular restaurant called Vista Green which is a well-known buffet filled with all sorts of food they can try out.
"Well it's good to relax at this nice restaurant," Mina said to be within a nice silk blue qipao dress with white wave patterns on the front fitting her curvy figure to pat her large chest seeing they look cozy in her qipao. She taps her white slippers and her long purple hair tied in low pigtails.
"Damn baby, looking fine like a thick piece of steak," Sonic said to pat her on the butt to make her jump.
"Well we should get going to the restaurant," Mina said as the two sped off to the fancy restaurant with O'Nux, Tikal, and Lara-Su waiting for them.
"Took you long enough, you two," O'Nux said in tribal garbs along with Tikal wearing a pretty brown tribal gown fitting her slender form.
"You look so pretty Tikal," Mina said as Tikal nodded her head with a slight blush.
"Thank you, I want to look good for a certain echidna," Tikal said as she looked at O'Nux lovingly.
"Good evening, you two. Thanks for coming," O'Nux said.
"Looking sharp there Knux. Looking nice for the pretty lady over there," Sonic teases Anti Knuckles with him blushing with Tikal looking bashful at this. Lara-Su looks on with sadness in her eyes.
"He is replacing mom with Tikal," Lara-Su said as Mina caught this to feel sad about the little girl's worries.
"Let's get inside and enjoy the food," Tikal said as they entered the upend restaurant to see it had a rich white and gold marble interior.
"Wow, this is amazing," Mina said as Sonic whistled at this.
"Nice digs going on here," Sonic said as the waiter was excited for their leader to bow his head to him.
"Sir, good to see you here. I will bring you to your VIP section along with your friends, mate, and daughter," the waitress said.
"Thanks. This place got the best seafood in the city along with some delicious grape wine," O'Nux said as they went into the VIP section to get into a table with O'Nux, Tikal, Lara-Su, Sonic, and Mina.
"Well, we got the menus here. Let's see where we can get out grubs," Sonic said as he looked for something interesting to eat.
"No chili dogs, try something new," Mina said to point to the menu.
"Gee, you beat me to the punch," he said.
"Seriously, this is a new restaurant. There is a bunch of things we can try out and experience something new," she said wanting him to try all this yummy food.
"You are right babe, there are interesting foods on here," Sonic said as Lara Su looked at the menu looking at a pro to pick out what she wanted.
"Daddy, I want this," Lara-Su said pointing to her orders with O'Nux nodding her head.
"Good choices, my dear. You guys ready to go?" O'Nux asked as everyone nodded to put in their orders with the waiter. They first get a Basket of Sea filled with crab cakes, Crab Rangoon, and crab stuffed mushrooms.
"Wow this looks delicious," Mina said as she grabbed a crab cake because it felt buttery and flakey in her mouth. "Goodness, this is amazing," she said as they were eating their appetizers to enjoy themselves.
Elsewhere Anti-Maria is testing her abilities dropping orbs of energy to nuke entire cities to turn them into deep craters. She uses her new powers through the Phantom Ruby to create copies of the cities she just destroyed with everyone revived as Phantom copies.
"How interesting," she loves testing out her new powers to wave her hands to make these cities disappear to become craters once again.
"Halt at once," Miles said through the speakers of his secret weapon X. "Who the hell are you?" Miles demanded.
"My name is not important to a man on his way to his death," Maria said with a cruel smile.
"You are bombing my cities. You are ruining my reputation," Miles said as Anti-Maria wanted to laugh at this sad excuse of a man.
"Like I care less about your pitiful reputation. You were always under Scourge's shadow and even now you are too weak to face me without your toys," Maria taunts him.
"This is not a toy. This is my ace in the hole when Scourge comes back trying to retake this world. I made this machine X as my ultimate fighting weapon. No one Sonic can beat it," Miles said feeling proud of himself.
"Oh, that's too bad. I am not Sonic. Besides you gave me a perfect punching bag to play with to test my new powers," Maria summons her 6 white gold flaming bird winds from her back to unleash balls of flames with X using its speed to dodge her attacks with her only playing with her food not taking the fight that seriously.
X goes in to deliver a kick but Maira uses Chaos Control to slow the machine down and leases out a Chaos Spear to strike the machine to send it flying into a hill nearby.
"Amazing, this woman can use Chaos energy naturally. Just like that Shadow guy who came here years ago. Who is this human woman," Miles said as he was beyond confused as to why there was another human here besides Ivo Robotnik who he believed to be the last human within this world.
X powers up with an Anarchy Beryl within its chest to lob several energy beams with Maria deflecting them away with her hands with no effort. She spreads out her arms in front to focus her energy into a powerful beam of chaos energy to bore through the planet's crust.
X warps behind Maria with her easily dodging the sneak attack, she pushes out a mighty force of gravity to knock X away. She looked at her hands to feel her power growing. "These Gravity powers are quite handy," Anti Maria said as X regained its footing trying to scan Maria for weaknesses but it couldn't.
"What is going on here, X's scanners cannot read her stats at all. What is happening?" Miles questioned that the readings were unknown and couldn't be scanned due to some weird energy interfering with them.
"Burn," Maria summons a plume of flames to knock the machine into the air to trap it in a bubble of gravity to make it harmlessly float in mid-air. She infuses flames into the bubble to superheat everything inside and then implodes the sphere to heavily damage the machine "Burning Sickle," she violently flaps her 6 wings to unleash white gold fiery sickles to cut into the robot to consume a storm of flaming sharp gust.
"Such power," Miles said as X fired beams of energy with Maria making clones of herself piercing through them like a thick mist.
"Try to find me," Maria playfully said as she sped down with her wings flying down on her back to divebomb towards the machine. X turns its arms into energy blades trying to slice her up but Maria teleports out of the way to get behind it. "You missed a spot," she fired a small orb to cling onto the machine to send it flying into the sky to reach out with her hand to close it into a fist to see the orb expand and vaporize the machine with ease.
"You got to be kidding me," Miles is in disbelief his strongest weapon is destroyed with ease. Nicole sees it and looks upon how pathetic Miles is.
"Look for yourself, my dear. Despite all his toys, he is a weak little man and soon you will be beyond him once you find out the truth about how this world is in a cycle," Maria said using her Magitek to connect with Anti Nicole.
"A cycle?" she asked.
"Yes, the Humans wiped themselves out and weakened themselves due to greed and selfishness. Now it's happening with the Mobians here, you know what to do when the time comes," Maria said disappearing with Nicole looking at the Metal Virus to use with different animals transforming them into robotic drones that she can control.
"A cycle that keeps going and pushing back progress. An even hand is needed to keep things going. A world like a bee hive with the queen controlling the drones for the sake of the hive," Nicole said as she dreamed of making peace with this world and beyond by any means necessary.
Back with Mina who went to the bathroom to begin throwing up into the toilet. "Goodness, where did that come from? I need to check on my status if there is anything weird," she said as she saw Lara-Su come into the bathroom. "Oh hey there sweetheart," she said with a smile as Lara-Su looked upset at something.
"Hey Miss Mina," she said as she moved into one of the stalls to relieve herself.
"What is wrong?" she asked to be by the door.
"Daddy is having fun with Miss Tikal. She didn't have this much fun since Mom was around," Lara-Su said as Mina sympathized with this little girl.
"Oh, sweetheart. There is nothing wrong with this. He didn't forget about your mom,"
"You think so?" Lara-Su asked.
"Yeah. I was very young when my father died protecting our town from criminals. I still think about him and am grateful for what he did," Mina said as the little girl got out of the stall to sport a sad smile.
"I miss my mom," Lara-Su said as Mina patted her on the shoulder.
"I know sweetie but your father wants to be happy with Tikal but still holds your mother in his heart and memories. That is why he wants to keep you safe, you are the only link to Julie-Su left within this world," Mina said as Lara-Su gave Mina a big hug.
"I understand, thanks for talking with me. Miss Mina," Lara-Su said.
"Yeah no problem kid," she said to pat her on the head.
"You make a good mom one day," Lara-Su said as Mina began to think about her recent throw-up session lately to have something crossed her mind.
"Mom huh, I would love to be a mom one day," Mina said as she had something in the back of her mind. She places her palm on her stomach to rub it gently. "I wonder," she thought to resume their dinner session to have a good time together.
