Title: The Kitsune Vampire
Chapter 5: From Rivals to Family
Everyone understood and began to do their tasks under Naruto's telepathic supervision, while Naruto thought to himself.
"I really hope that the rivalry between Hashirama and Tobirama against Madara and Izuna has ended. Izuna was killed by Tobirama in the era of the Clan Wars, and I will not allow that to happen again. While Madara is so rigid and stubborn, Hashirama is complacent and soft when it comes to family, however, their fight that resulted in the Valley of the End, an immense destruction, was definitely the last straw. I promise myself: I will bind them with Demonic Chains if they do not treat each other like family, they will only be released if a war occurs."
In Naruto's mindscape, only 1 hour had passed, while in the real world another three days had passed, totaling Naruto in a coma for 2 weeks.
Hiruzen was extremely worried about Naruto's situation; his condition was still serious, but not critical, he was stabilized, but badly injured.
Hiruzen had a very heated conversation with Minato due to his and Kushina's absence, who are Naruto's parents, as well as Naruto's triplet sisters: Kiara, Kira and Naruko. None of them had the decency to go see Naruto's condition until now.
The Uzumaki-Namikaze family did not deny it, however, they avoided saying the real reasons; they always hated Naruto, never liked him.
Jiraiya arrived, sensing the tension in the air. He cleared his throat to get attention.
"I heard about a disturbing prophecy on Mount Myoboku. Something about a child who could become an incarnation of blood and darkness."
Hiruzen and Minato thought of Sasuke Uchiha, after the massacre of the Uchiha Clan by his older brother, Itachi Uchiha, but they could not rule out any possibility.
However, Jiraiya asked.
"Why are you at the Hospital?"
Hiruzen said gravely.
"Naruto was attacked by the villagers and some Chunins and has been hospitalized for 2 weeks."
Jiraiya asked, curious about the answer.
"Who is Naruto? I know he's one of the characters in my books, but I didn't know they could name a boy that way. I feel flattered."
Hiruzen frowned and slowly turned to Minato and asked, worried.
"Didn't you tell me that Jiraiya has another godson besides the triplets Naruko, Kira and Kiara?"
Minato, visibly uncomfortable, answered.
"Jiraiya, Naruto is your godson... and also my son. Kushina and I... haven't been the parents he deserved. There are... complications involving the Kyuubi seal inside him."
Jiraiya was shocked, his face hardening with anger and disappointment.
"How could you? Naruto is a child, and you, as his parents, should protect him above all else! I will stay here, with him, and I will make sure he gets the love and training he deserves. And you, Minato, need to rethink your priorities."
Minato didn't want to see Naruto and made some excuse.
"I... I've been very busy with high-level missions outside of Konoha. I haven't had time to come here, but I trust he is in good hands with you, Hiruzen."
The tension in the room grew, but Hiruzen interrupted.
"We have to focus on Naruto now. He needs us more than ever. And, Jiraiya, your help will be invaluable. But we must also be aware of the prophecy. If Naruto is the center of it, we need to prepare him, not only to be a ninja, but to face whatever is coming."
