What's this, what's this? There's an update in the air? What's this, what's this? Sorry, couldn't resist the corny joke! But yes, this is rather unusual. Three updates in the first part of a month? Guess the ideas for this story and my other is just rolling out of my head. We've come to the main event! The reveal of Junior's power! Big thanks to everyone who has faved the story! Hope you enjoy!

Oh, and by the by, I aged up Lock, Shock, and Barrel too for this story.

Junior could only scowl. He had only himself to blame for not checking to make sure he hadn't been followed. Now here he was trapped in a sack. The sack was moving clearly on some sort of transport.

A small hole was in it. Idly, he pulled out a rib bone of his and poked it through, trying to make it bigger. There was a stagger and the rib bone was pushed all the way through, landing on the ground.

"Damn it..." Junior hissed. "This is just not my night tonight..."

Outside of his little prison, a ghostly dog was wandering around. Sniffing the air, they picked up the scent of a bone. Flying toward the discarded rib bone, the dog saw a tub and growled low.

It knew the three that the tub belonged to. Picking up the rib, the dog followed the tub with the intention to find out where it was going. Upon seeing a house built haphazardly, the dog whined before rushing back to Town. It had to find someone, anyone!

Back with Junior, he noticed something about their movement. They were slowing down. Whatever was transporting him came to a stop. The sensation of rising told him all he needed to know. They were on a lift of some kind. When it came to a stop, the bag began to rustle and not from him.

The top of the sack was opened and he was then unceremoniously dropped onto a hard floor, grunting a little. Rolling to his feet, he dropped into a fighting stance.

"Alright, whose the morons who need their asses whooped?" Junior snarled.

"WHOA! Easy!" A voice said.

He looked up to see a boy of sixteen years of age. The boy wore a devil costume; his teeth were pointed sharply, his face narrow with a pointy chin, and his hair waxed into two horns, making him quite literally a handsome devil. A barbed tail swished back and forth behind the boy.

Junior heard a noise and turned around. He saw a second figure. The newcomer looked like a male as well, sixteen too, but shorter then the devil teen. He wore a skeleton costume and had deformed feet. He almost looked human, albeit one with white skin, sunken eyes, and perfectly combed green hair. His face was round and has a perpetual grin.

"Hey, hey, we're all friends here!" The newcomer said.

"Friend? Friends don't stuff them in a sack. Nor do they not introduce themselves." Junior bit out.

"Lock!" Devil boy said.

"Barrel!" Skeleton boy said.

Junior felt arms wrap around him. He jerked around, meeting a third figure. It was a girl, sixteen as well. She wore a witch's costume. Wearing a purple witch's hat that was about the same height than her, if not taller. Her hair was wiry and purple, the same color as the makeup around her eyes. She also wore sky blue lipstick and had deathly Grey skin, not unlike the others. The costume did little to hide her figure.

"And I'm Shock. Don't worry, we won't hurt you, handsome." Shock said coyly.

"Seriously, Shock?!" Lock snarled, the girl sticking her tongue at him.

Junior snarled, shoving the teen girl away. Glaring at the trio, he started to walk away.

"Hey, where are ya going?! Have some milk and cookies! Watch it they bite!" Barrel said in a hurry.

"Leaving." Junior snarled.

"Ah come on, don't be like that! We only did that to initiate ya into our club!" Lock said, getting in front of Junior.

Junior just shoved the boy out of his way. Lock stumbled, crashing into a collection of weapons. Shock quickly intercepted, spreading her arms wide.

"We're not looking to harm you, Junior! We're big fans of your mom and dad!"

"Then next time, abduct them!"

Shock scowled. This was not going to plan at all. Barrel and Lock stood up, one holding a pitchfork, the other holding a large lollipop axe. Sighing, she summoned a broom.

"Guess hard way it is...hate to mess up that handsome face of yours..." She said mournfully.

Junior's eyes narrowed. He heard Barrel rushing at him from behind. The young reaper jumped around, one of his legs lashing out. Barrel's eyes went wide, the foot slamming into his face. He went rolling back, crashing into the wall. Lock roared, charging, pitchfork raised high.

The skeleton just dropped down, preforming the splits. His target gone, Lock could only yelp, tripping over one of the extended legs of Junior. The weapon he had landed hard in wood. With such a tight grip on it, it bent back a bit before throwing Lock. Landing hard into the wall, there was a snap and scream. He had broken his wrist.

Junior shot to his feet, still ready for anything from Shock.

"What were you planning to do with that? Try to sweep me off my feet?" Junior snapped waspishly.

"An idea, but no. I was going to do THIS!" Shock shouted, waving the broom downward.

A bolt of lightning came out of it, hitting Junior hard. Launched off his feet, he landed in a heap near Barrel. Shaking off the pain, he jumped to his feet. Casually punching a charging Barrel, he began to run forward.

Seeing her wave the broom again, he jumped back. Shock continued to wave the broom, sparks hitting where he had been at just seconds ago. He jumped to the side, just as Lock stabbed at the air. He ducked to the right, Barrel coming down with his axe.

The trio continued their attacks one after another. Shock's lightning, Lock's thrusting pitchfork, Barrel's axe drop. Junior saw that they were herding him to somewhere...but where?! There was practically no room in the tight space he was in!

Jumping to avoid another lighting strike, he felt something cold on his back. Confused, he paused.

CLANK

"AH FOOK ME!" Junior roared in anger at himself.

Both arms and legs were clamped to a metal table. The trio stopped their advance, Shock looking apologetic at Junior. A laugh was then heard.

"Oh, well done! Well done!"

A large burlap sack walked out, laughing. Junior knew right away who this was thanks to his dad.

Oogie Boogie.

"Prep him for surgery everyone! The night is young, but we got a long road ahead of us!" Oogie commanded.

Lock and Barrel saluted, rushing off. Shock stayed behind, casting another glance at Junior. She left then, leaving Junior to stew in his anger.

Mini Mandy excused herself from the party. Walking the streets of Halloween town, she let her feet carry her. Her mind was clouded with many thoughts. Mostly about her older brother.

He had always been a prodigy like herself. Yet despite this, he had began to slip into the shadows for some reason. At first she had thought it was her, so she redoubled her efforts to get his attention again. After he had turned ten, he had changed even more. He was more aloof, more serious. And there was the times he was with their father.

Could his reaper powers finally come in? Minnie dearly hoped so. Pausing in her thoughts, she turned to the moon. Despite being fourteen years of age, she so enjoyed the times she got to fly in her childhood.

Taking in a breath and slowly letting it out, she felt her entire body relax. From her back, tendrils of green scales and almost metal talons slid out from under her skin. They wove around one another and each other, becoming massive wings.

A small tail slid out from her tailbone. With a sigh of relief, Minnie took to the skies, smiling. Here, she danced with the clouds. Envisioning her brother there with her, dancing in tandem with her.

Her imagination slowly began to get away from her. But before it could really run wild, she heard a frantic barking below. Seeing a ghostly dog, she flew down.

"Oh phantom canine whose nose glows with the light of the ominous scarlet moon, what ails thee?" She asked, kneeling down.

Zero had seen the girl with his master Jack. He knew she could be able to help! He opened his jaw, revealing the bone he had found.

Minnie took the bone, staring with wide eyes. This was her brother's rib bone! He would never be so careless with his bones! Even to play with the specter before her!

"Oh phantom canine! Have thou seen where my brother hath been taken?! Please! Lead me to him!" Minnie pleaded, fear gripping her heart.

She knew he could handle himself, but she still worried. Zero barked frantically, shooting off. Powering her wings, she followed closely behind. Any who dared to harm her brother would face her wrath.

Junior growled, testing his restraints. The metal clamps held fast and the leather belts further restricted him. He was in a basement of some kind and saw the three rushing around.

"OH HOHOHOHOHO!" A familiar voice said, Junior looking up. "Well, well, well! What have we here?!"

"I swear by the nine rings of Hell if you start singing, Oogie Boogie, I will find your primary bug and crush it!" Junior snarled.

"Sassy! Just like your mother! And you know me! That makes introductions pointless then!" Oogie said, standing over the skeleton. "I'm sure you're just DYING to know what I have planned."

Junior rolled his eye sockets. That pun had been done to death with his father. Oogie laughed, as did Lock and Barrel. Shock continued her work, stealing glances at Junior.

Oogie went on. He and Grim once had a gambling den in Las Vegas, hidden from the mortals. But the prize wasn't money oh no. It was lives! The lives of the patrons. But Grim had become disgusted with the gig! He left and swore never to help him. Junior looked bored.

"Tell me something I don't know. He was more disgusted by your sick glee then how the people died. Said that you were a sad sack of shit who was trying to be scarier then my uncle Jack."

Oogie's face turned black, clearly pissed off at the mouthy brat. Taking the head of the teen, he held him up.

"Smart guy huh?! Well, that won't matter once I take those sleeping powers of yours!"

"What makes you think they're sleeping?" Junior asked.

The question made Oogie and his gang to pause. What was he talking about? Of course his powers were still sleeping! They had to be! He hadn't escaped yet had he! Oogie laughed.

"Nice try, but you can't bluff a gambling man like me!" Oogie said, taking a cutter from Shock. "Now-"

"W-wait, mister Oogie!" Shock shouted suddenly. "A-as he may not survive this process, can...can I at least give him a good-bye kiss?"

Oogie looked at the teenage girl before sighing. Tossing the head, he snarled.

"Make it quick, Shock."

Shock quickly grabbed Junior's head. She turned him around, meeting his socketless gaze.

"O Prince of death, parting is such sorrow. But at least I will know what a Kiss of Death is like." Shock said, horribly maiming the poetic accent.

Before Junior could protest, she brought him in close, her lips puckered up. Just before their lips and non-existent lips touched-

ZWHIP!

Pain erupted from Shock's shoulder making her scream. She dropped Junior's skull, making him roll and curse. The girl looked at what had stung her. In her shoulder was an arrow. The four all heard a loud thud and turned. There, standing with pure rage in her green eyes, was Princess Mini Mandy, a bow in hand and tentacles slithering all around her.

"HOW DARE THOU LAY A HAND ON THY PRINCE OF DARKNESS WENCH!" Minnie roared, firing another arrow at Shock.

Shock ducked down, the arrow hitting Oogie Boogie who had just picked up Junior's head. Cursing loudly, the sack dropped the head.

"Oh come fooking on!" Junior snarled, bouncing once more.

He was ignored as Oogie activated the various traps around his hideaway. Minnie expertly dodged the blades and saws. Several slot machines came, Oogie drawing a saber. Junior briefly wondered where he had kept that before seeing an umbrella stand with various swords in it.

"FIRE!" Oogie roared.

The machines lowered their gun arms and began firing. Minnie moved, her chest bouncing some making Lock and Barrel distracted. She easily kicked them in the temple, knocking them out. But one of the bullets hit her shoulder, Junior looking on in concern.

The wound had rapidly regenerated, but it just made Minnie even MORE pissed off. She gained claws and talons, charging like a wild panther. She slashed through the machines with ease. The resulting explosion made everyone go flying. Junior's head felt the tentacle of his sister slither around him and pick him up.

"Please! Please forgive me, o sweet and powerful girl! Forgive this old Boogie for just wanting to have more friends!" Oogie rambled out, bowing and cowering before the figure of Minnie.

"Thou are such a pathetic wretch, so much so that I am forced to retract my claws in revolted pity! But take heed! Shouldst thou EVER lay their hands on mine brother or any other again, thine life is forfeit to me!" Minnie snarled, tightly holding her brother's head against her chest. "Never forget. Hell hath no fury..."

Junior's face was blank, but he was trying hard NOT to blush at being in his younger sister's cleavage. Puberty was being VERY generous to his sister. He watched his body approaching and then felt his head being placed back on his body.

The belts and cuffs holding him were destroyed with one well placed strike from his sister. Landing on his feet, he rubbed his wrists.

"Thank you, Minnie. But take this as a lesson tonight..." Junior said, standing at his full height.

Minnie tilted her head. A lesson? What did her brother mean? Behind them, Oogie pushed another hidden button, smirking evilly.

With a near silent hiss, something rose out of the ground. It was around 30 feet tall, bright orange. This was the Pumpkinator. A robot that Oogie had found in pieces on the outskirts of Halloween town. He had repaired it to make it a minion of his. The robot was shaped like a jack-o'-lantern with two arms and two legs. It also had a horned helmet on it's head, and has vine appendages criss-crossing across its body.

It grabbed Minnie making her cry out. Junior snapped his head up, seeing his sister in its arms. Oogie laughed in delight.

"THAT'S IT! RIP HER APART!" Oogie commanded.

Minnie felt herself being squeezed and then felt her tentacles grabbed. She had begun crying. Was this how she was to die? She didn't even get to tell-

"TRICK-OR-..."

SHING

It happened so fast. The only clue anyone had seen it was a thin line of light and that was if they had seen it. The giant robot stood still for fifteen seconds. Then it quickly became several pieces of scrap metal, shocking Oogie. One of them landed near him and he saw that it had been cut.

Minnie was floating in the air for a brief second. Then she began to fall. In her panic, she forgot to form her wings. But something grabbed her, holding her aloft.

"WHAT?!" Oogie screamed, seeing his machine crash all around him. "WHO!?"

"That would be me." A new voice said, one that made everyone stiffen.

They turned to the source. Minnie herself looked up and found herself in the arm of a man. The man was tall, had alabaster skin, long silver hair, and cyan eyes. Minnie found herself drawn to those, seeing the dragon like pupil in them.

They were like pools of an peaceful ocean. But under its tranquil waves was a storm of great power. Tearing her eyes away, she took a moment to check the rest of him over.

His attire consisted of a long black coat with silver pauldrons, black boots, and black trousers. The top of his coat was open to reveal his chest, with leather suspenders crossed over it. In his left hand was seven-foot-long ōdachi, pointed at where the Pumpkinator once had been.

He looked down at Minnie, closing his eyes and smiling softly.

"Minnie. It's okay. I got you." He said, using a very familiar voice to her.

"B-b-brother?" She stammered out, shocked at what her brother had become.

Shock herself was staring with stars in her eyes as well. The man nodded, landing on the ground. Minnie felt something shift and leave her side. Her eyes got even bigger, seeing what it was.

A single black wing extended outward. Her brother looked up at the quartet, fury blazing in his eyes. Stalking forward, blade tip dragging across the ground, creating sparks as he walked. When he spoke, there was none of the teenage boyhood in his voice.

Just cold, calculated darkness.

"Oogie boogie. Mine sister may have granted thou mercy this night. But I am not so generous. For attempting to end the life of the Princess of Death and Evil, you shall die. But it will not be swift."

"F-FIRE!" Oogie shouted, the slot machines aiming their guns.

Junior simply slashed. The machines squeezed their triggers, only for the guns to be cut to ribbons. The heads of the slot machines popped up, almost like they were shocked. They too followed their guns, collapsing into pieces. Lock and Barrel charged at the being.

A mere glare and they were frozen in place. Oogie was utterly terrified! The winged boy was not slowing down to anything! Scrambling for another hidden button, he pushed one with his foot.

Several skeletons colored blue suddenly came to life. Oogie had forgotten about those! He ordered them to attack. They shambled toward Junior. The boy lifted his hand.

Dozens of fireballs appeared and crashed into the skeletons. Dimly, everyone was aware that the fire from the burning skeletons was spreading. Oogie watched them go down with fear in his eyes. Slapping around, he pushed another button.

From above, a chute opened and dozens of spiders fell. Junior casually slashed through them, coating himself in their green blood. Realizing how dangerous a prey this one was, they turned and charged at the other person in the room. Minnie shrieked at seeing them before her. She quickly summoned her rapier and dealt with them swiftly.

Oogie rapidly looked around. There had to be SOMETHING that could stop this monster before him! As he looked, he felt something impale his shoulder. Looking, he saw it was the tip of the sword.

"GAH! Please, please oh great and terrible angel of darkness! Please forgive poor old Oogie Boogie!" He pleaded.

"Mine sister, doth recall what I said earlier this night? About a lesson being taught to thee?" Junior asked, ignoring Oogie's pleas.

Everyone noticed that his voice had a haunting echo.

"A-aye! What lesson did thou wish to impart, mine brother?" Minnie said, watching with entranced eyes.

Junior smirked. The lesson was to never turn one's back to an enemy. Even one as small and insignificant as Oogie Boogie. For scum like him always had a trick or two up his sleeve. Case in the point, the Pumpkinator. The Spiders. The skeletons.

"Please! It...it was just a joke!" Oogie said, Lock, Shock and Barrel now next to him.

"Yeah, man! Just a prank, bro!" Barrel said, laughing nervously.

But Junior did not join in the forced laughter. He just looked at them with a blank expression. Twisting his sword, he channeled power through Masamune. Oogie screamed feeling his insides get torn up by the energy blade from the sword.

Junior ripped his sword out, stabbing another area of Oogie. The giant sack screamed as more energy blades ripped him from the inside out. Lock, hearing his boss crying out, grabbed a discarded sword and charged at Junior.

"DIE YOU BASTARD!" He screamed.

Junior tore his blade free, blocking the devil boy's charge with the flat of his sword. Easily pushing the boy back, Junior began to weave. Afterimages of himself appeared, slashing his sword at various angles.

Everyone watched, spellbound at the movement. Lock stood frozen, slashes hitting him. When the act was over, Junior was behind him and simply lowered his sword.

Lock dropped the sword he had grabbed, the metal clanging loudly even with the cracking of the fire around them. Cuts appeared all over Lock, crimson liquid flowing freely from them. Slowly, he turned to Barrel and Shock, eyes wide and regretful.

"Run..." Lock whispered.

At that single word...Lock became a bloody mist. A literal bloody mist. Nothing was left of the former devil boy, save for his blood falling slowly to the ground. Barrel screamed in pure terror at his former friend's death. Shock stood there, shocked. Oogie Boogie was never more afraid then what he was.

Minnie stared, eyes wide. She felt something stirring in her heart at the act of her own brother. The callous murder, the dismissal of such a fool. Her ears pounded with blood. A slight pant escaped her.

Oogie blinked, still processing his minion's death.

That was a mistake. Junior was suddenly behind him, sword out. Oogie froze, just like Lock had seconds before. Then he exploded.

Several bugs flew out, all cut in two. Junior closed his eyes, smiling a soft smile. While he was distracted, Barrel grabbed Shock and rushed to the pipe. All he wanted to do was get out of there. To get away from the Dark God before him and his friend! He scrambled up it with the girl in tow, crying loudly.

Minnie watched her brother. His mouth was open and he seemed to breathing air in. Shifting her eyes to her nergal state, she saw what was going on. Junior was sucking in the souls of the insects. Closing his mouth, he gulped loudly, a thoughtful look on his face.

"Gummi Worms...huh. So that's what the souls of insects taste like." Junior commented offhand.

He snatched a red orb out the air. Looking at it, he saw it was Lock's soul. Like with the bugs, he consumed the orb. He swallowed, making a face.

"Red hots. Ironic given that he was a devil boy..." Junior said.

A sudden crash made both him and Minnie look around them. The fire was out of control, consuming everything in its path. Junior turned on his heel, walking toward Minnie.

The princess stared. Her brother walking toward her, sword at his side, the fire in the background gave an image of him being an avenging angel. Her heart raced, locking eyes with his. He helped her up.

"Let's go, Minnie."

"Y-yes, mine brother..." She whispered throatily, blood rapidly pounding in her ears.

A few quick slashes and a part of the wall came down. The two took off through the hole. The support beams of the clubhouse came down, the fire crackling. Both landed, turning back to the burning structure. Junior scoffed, dismissing his blade.

"Well, some Samhain huh, Mins?" He asked, turning to her.

Her head was lowered, bangs hiding her eyes. Confused, Junior began to reach for her.

"Mins?" He asked softly.

Minnie lowered herself slightly at hearing her nickname. Then she charged. Junior felt her shoulder check him in the chest, making him gasp. He fell onto his butt, but the momentum pushed him onto his back.

He looked up at his sister as she pinned his shoulders to the ground.

"Minnie, what has gotten into you?!" He shouted.

His eyes locked with hers and froze. Her eyes were filled with something. Something he had only seen once before when he was ten years old. Before he could get his arms up to stop her, several tentacles burst out of the ground and coiled around his wrists and legs. Seeing them extend from her back, he knew he was stuck.

She adjusted herself, straddling his waist. Lowering herself down, she never broke eye contact with him. Those eyes filled with a mixture of love and lust. He felt his sister's hands on the sides of his face.

"Sister...Minnie...snap out of it...please?" Junior whispered, very worried.

His plea went unanswered. Her lips met his, the girl moaning at the contact. Junior tried to pull away, but her grip on him was just too strong. Behind them, the clubhouse still burned.

Minnie couldn't have asked for a romantic backdrop.

Uh oh! Minnie's gone cuckoo for Junior! Is it her own will doing this or is there something else at work behind the shadows?

I hope I did Sephiroth justice in this. I'm always worried about misrepresenting an iconic villain in a new role.

I'm glad for the faves, I really am, means I'm doing something right with catching you, the reader's, interest. But reviews can help me become a better writer and tell me what your thoughts are on the story. I love to hear feedback, positive and negative.
