Leo will be a character off and on, but Mason is the main character. Leo will later, down the line, get more screen time so to speak.

Leo was amazed when, after he Bully girl Clarisse, grabbed his neck to hurt him like so many foster parents had in the past, that Mason's spell beg sent her flying across the the Camp. He heard her bones breaking as she landed, but he didn't care. Rushing at her, knife drawn, he pinned it to her terrified throat and growled while holding fire in the other. "That was a warning, touch me again and I will set you and your worthless cabin on fire." He glared, like Mason had taught him, at the idiots siblings of hers that were looking onward with fear.

Charlie, who had been only dipping into the forge to grab something, popped out to see this and his eyes went red with wrath that rivaled the power he saw in Mason. "Clarisse, we had an understanding. Touch my siblings and I will never have us forge any of you weapons." He growled low and slow and stalked toward them. Clarisse actually paled, and Leo knew why. Charlie was buff, powerful and his aura spoke of might beyond the Daughter of Ares.

"I, but, I won't, I- You can't just stop making us weapons!" She panicked.

Leo kneed her in the diaphragm, making her wheeze. "I think attacking someone a third you size, when you clearly also have super strength, is a worthy enough crime. You are lucky, you know, what protects me has a fatal setting. If you do it again, if it senses you try, it is strong enough to kill you."

She shivered, knowing he was being honest. "Fine."

"Swear on Styx, or burn." He pushed fire closer.

She went wide eyed. "I swear I won't attack you, your kin or let my siblings do it... outside of self defense or training. On the Styx I swear."

The thundering told him it was true. "Good, I would hate my first days here to have your death on it." He pulled away, sneering at her like Mason showed him. It was funny, Mason was so friendly, so kind, but he had a real dark side deep inside. "Oh and I should warn you, my blade is spelled by witch brother. It would have lasting, scarring effects on you."

And he walked away, proud and powerful and finally at peace with himself for this was the first time he had ever truly stood up for himself and succeeded.

As Charlie followed him away, the boy whispered. "That was good, I hate that is needed but for bullies you have to put them in their places."

"Mason taught me that, said my humor wouldn't always work... so he taught me to fight and act like that. I hate it, bit I know I have to, ya know."

"Yeah, I really do... that was a cool spell of your brothers, that is could blast her so far away."

"I know right, and it has a few more charges on it. It can do real damage, like fatal damage. I wasn't kidding."

And Charlie cringed. "I hope it never has to come to that."

In his apartment's garden, Mason mixed together a seriously powerful potion. The strongest tracking potion he could manage, one that in theory should find the Titaness of the Moon. It would require the essence of whomever was being tracked, like his hoodie, so he had never thought of it before. It would take a few days to make, and even longer to steep.

In fact, it would take until the next full moon to fully be made. Drawing in the power of the Moonlight would amplify it's potency, and make it strong enough to find the goddess no matter the distance.

Or, so he hoped.

Magic of that level could be tricky, he had to craft it perfectly, less he creates something not so great...

Something dangerous.

And that would not do.
