This Leo has tasted respect, he is not the same as the OG Leo, he is remade.

Leo hammered and and forged and shaped every day, drinking in all his brother had to teach him. By the end of his first month at Camp it was clear that Leo was one of the best at Camp. His skill was beyond most, his understanding shaped by mother's lessons and forged by his father's ichor. Mason's brief lessons on magic helped as well, giving him clues on how to mold his intent into the fire and bestow his crafts with more potency.

No one, bar Charlie, liked his fire powers. Most looked at Leo like a freak, like a monster, knowing the stories of the past wielders and the evils they had unleashed unintentionally. Leo knew better, Mason showed him control and power.

'No power is evil, kid, it is a tool and like all tools it is the use and intent that matter.'

That stuck with him fervently, and he practiced his powers by the water each day just as Mason had instructed him. Like he still instructed him, as they had spoken with Iris messaging twice since they were forcibly separated by Hera. He hated her, from her work as Tia Callida, to now, he hated her, but knew better than to express that.

He was passively aggressive though, which brought him to now.

He was readying his sacrifice to the gods during his dinner, and placed in some steak. "To Hepheastus and to my brother Ganymede."

He heard some giggling, and turned to glare at a nasty but incredibly pretty girl with racoon eyes. "Why would you worship that freak? All he ever did was get kidnapped and be a patron to gross fa-"

Leo's hands burned by her face as he swiped at her, Charing her hair and making her shriek. The entire dinning pavillion went quiet. "Let me make something clear. insult my Brothers, either of them, and I will show you the horrors of fire. I don't care what you say about me, but they are off limits. Are we clear?" He announced, his body enveloped in flames. Charlie, who he could see at his table, smirked, knowing his past.

The girl shivered in tears, but he didn't care. "Fine, freak."

"Good, now, spread the word unless you want to end up bald and scarred." Feeling Mason's strength, his lack of care for idiots, fueling him Leo hurried back to his table. Fully away of the eyes on his person, of the fear that filled so many.

He just didn't. He lived a life time of people bullying and abusing him, he wouldn't tolerate it, even from his divine cousins. He was done being a target, he was just done. He had found what true respect felt like, and frankly... nothing else would do anymore.

""'

The pull of magic, from the moon above as he spilled the soft silver potion on his hoodie sent shivers through Mason's soul. The cold majesty of moonlight was something else, and he knew he had to follow it true.

Waving his hands over the hoodie, he felt magic welling in him, stronger than ever.

'Beata Luna, deduc me ad tuam deam."

The silvery light of moon and potion gathered as one before lifting off of the hoodie, leaving it stainless. He breathed it in, and before he knew it he felt a powerful tug on his soul and knew where to go.

"Time to travel." And off he went, off and away, to find the Titanness of the Moon and hopefully use her to leverage getting Leo back...
