Hello everyone I'm back once again to bring you another chapter of my story; I hope you all enjoy it and if you are please keep on supporting me and my other work. Now then with nothing else to say let's begin.
Set in Stone: Chapter 41
With Naruto, Jiraya, Itachi, Sarada and Konan
Sarada and Sasuke were both fighting using their Susanoo's as neither were able to fully gain an upper hand; Sasuke sent a punch from his Susanoo towards Sarada who blocked with hers as the ground under her feet began to crack. Sarada feeling the weight of the punch sent one in return hitting Sasuke and knocking him away.
Sasuke and his Susanoo were skidding when he regained his composure; Sasuke readied the bow on his Susanoo's arm and aimed it at Sarada. Sasuke fired an arrow and using his right eye ignited it with the Amaterasu flames; the now black flaming arrow approached Sarada who using her Susanoo braced for the impact.
When the arrow hit Sarada's Susanoo was destroyed and she was sent sailing backwards; Sarada was caught by Itachi who activated his Susanoo in time as the flames from the Amaterasu came towards them. Itachi readied the Yata mirror and blocked the flames from hitting them; Sarada looked up and smiled.
"Thanks Itachi" Sarada said as she got to her feet.
"No problem my loving niece" Itachi said with a warm smile himself as he looked over to Sasuke with a scowl.
"The Yata mirror; I remember that from when I fought you all those years ago Itachi" Sasuke said as he walked towards them "that mirror and that sword won't save you from my wrath" he said. Sasuke was about to attack but was interrupted when he had to block a Kyuubi chakra powered rasengan from Naruto.
"I'm still here bastard" Naruto shouted as he brought back his other hand and formed another rasengan and slammed it into Sasuke's Susanoo cracking it. Sasuke swatted Naruto away as he bounced off the ground but corrected himself and landed a few dozen yards away.
"You annoying pest" Sasuke said before he was hit from behind by flying paper bombs "oh how can I forget; the last of the Akatsuki" Sasuke said looking up into the sky as Konan flew above.
"Summoning Jutsu" Jiraya shouted as he summoned Gamaken "don't forget I'm here too Uchiha; this fight is far from over" he said as his toad sage mode began to activate and he got into a battle stance.
"Hmph; you will all die at my feet" Sasuke said as he and his Susanoo got ready.
With Tsubaki and Karin
Tsubaki and Sakura were in a fast-paced Taijutsu battle as neither woman were giving any ground in the fight; Sakura threw a kick at Tsubaki's ribs but Tsubaki blocked and retaliated with a uppercut to the bottom of Sakura's jaw. Sakura bent her head back narrowly dodging the attack as Tsubaki's fist went into the air.
Before she could counter Sakura had to jump away as multiple chakra chains began to rush towards her; Sakura jumped back as the chains implanted themselves where she was just standing.
Karin came forward and ran at Sakura readying her chains to attack once more; Karin began to swing her chakra chains at Sakura who began to dodge and weave. One of the chains came towards Sakura who caught is.
Karin was caught off guard when she was pulled towards Sakura who cocked back her fist; Sakura drove her fist into Karin's gut and Karin coughed up blood. Karin flew backwards as she bounced off the ground until she was caught by Tsubaki.
"Karin are you good" Tsubaki asked and Karin coughed.
"*wheeze* yeah" Karin said opening up her top revealing she had chakra chains wrapped around her abdomen as improvised armor "it hurt like a motherfucker though" Karin said as Tsubaki laid her on the ground.
"Heal up and join in when you are ready" Tsubaki said walking towards Sakura "I'll hold her off until then" she said and Karin nodded.
"She won't get the chance" Sakura said walking towards Tsubaki "she most definitely has internal bleeding; once I'm done with you, I'll take my time stomping her fucking guts out" she said with a snarl and Tsubaki scoffed.
"Shut it bitch" Tsubaki said getting back into her fighting stance "let out fists do the talking" she said.
Tsubaki and Sakura both charged at each other exchanging fists as the blows boomed throughout the village.
With Moro and Hinata
Hinata dodged Kiba's claw as it narrowly missed her cutting her blouse exposing her stomach; Hinata countered by hitting Kiba twice on his side once on his Kidney and once on his liver. Hinata expected some kind of sign of pain from Kiba but went wide eyed when Kiba turned towards her and kicked her in the ribs sending her skidding back; Hinata stopped and grabbed onto her ribs feeling the stinging pain which indicated her ribs were cracked.
"Mom are you good" Moro said and Hinata nodded.
"Yeah, I'm fine" Hinata said as she began to heal her wound "how is he able to do this; even as an Edo tensei he shouldn't be this powerful" Hinata said and Moro growled.
"It's that damn drug" Moro said "it increases your healing, strength and pain tolerance; the Inuzuka of my time take that drug before going into battle, the only thing that can take him down is repeated trauma and finding that damn seal on him" she said and Hinata nodded.
"Fight all you want it's no use" Kiba said with a mad look on his face "when I'm done with the both of you, you're going to wish you were dead; I'll kill the Inuzuka of this time and begin rebuilding it, starting with you 2" he said licking his lips and baring his fangs.
"Shut up you fucking psycho" Moro said as she charged at Kiba who in turn charged at her; Moro slashed her claws at Kiba hitting him in the chest with him appearing unphased. Kiba grabbed her and pulled her in; Kiba kneed Moro in the gut making her cough up blood. Moro however did not relent as she grabbed Kiba's leg and lifted him up; Moro proceeded to slam him onto the concrete below cracking it.
Kiba hit the ground hard as he began to reform his body; Moro not relenting her attack began to punch and slash at Kiba with her claws causing more damage to Kiba. Moro threw a punch at Kiba and Kiba caught it once more pulling her in; Kiba opened his mouth and bit down on Moro's neck causing her to scream in pain.
Moro used her other hand to slash off Kiba's jaw freeing her; Moro jumped back holding her neck "let me see" Hinata said running over.
Moro moved her hand and Hinata saw a chunk of flesh missing from Moro's neck just above the collar bone.
"Did he just bite me; that crazy asshole" Moro shouted as Hinata began to heal the wound; Moro and Hinata looked over and saw a fully reformed Kiba stand up as his jaw reformed and he regained his crazed smile.
"Time for round 2" Kiba said as he charged at the 2 women who got ready to defend themselves.
With Jugo and Fu
Jugo was laughing like a mad man as he fought his 5 cyborg opponents; these one's unlike the others were more physically altered and less prone to being taken out by anything other than something of equal strength.
Jugo grabbed one of the cyborgs by the head and began to twist and turn it in a attempt to rip it off and kill it "c'mon is that all you have to offer" Jugo said in his crazed state.
"Are you really having fun with this" Fu said as she ducked under at strike from her cyborg "focus and take these things out; we need to go and help Naruto" Fu said as she punched the cyborg in the face as a clang sound echoed. "Ow I hit the metal part" Fu whined as she shrunk down to avoid another punch from her cyborg "ok fuck this" Fu said as she shrunk down to a grain of rice and out of the cyborgs vision.
Fu flew into the cyborgs ear and stopped at the ear drum 'ok I saw this in a comic once; hopefully this works' Fu thought as she began to reinforce her body with chakra 'here goes nothing' she thought.
The cyborg looked around for it's target trying to find the mint haired girl it was in battle with; suddenly its head exploded in a shower of gore and Fu appeared where the cyborgs head was covered in blood, brain and other unknown fluids as she spit and gagged.
"Ew that was gross" Fu said as she wiped the brains out of her hair "but it worked; thanks, Antman" she said as she looked over to Jugo who was ripping apart his fourth cyborg.
Jugo ripped the fourth cyborg in half as he continued to fight in crazed state "come on, come and die" Jugo shouted; just then Jugo was grabbed from behind by the final cyborg and it locked its arms around Jugo "hehe you cannot hold me" Jugo laughed. Jugo's laugh died down a he felt the cyborg began to grow hot on his back.
Fu seeing the cyborg holding Jugo begin to glow began to run towards him "Ju- "Fu began until a massive explosion erupted and sent Fu flying into a tree smacking her back and giving her minor burns. Fu fell to the ground and looked at the smoldering crater where Jugo and the cyborg was seeing nothing "Jugo" Fu whimpered out as she realized what happened.
The last cyborg self-destructed in order to kill Jugo; Fu trying to get up fell back down as her shaky vision only got worse 'Jugo; I'm sorry' was Fu's last thought as she lost consciousness against the tree.
With Ichigo
Ichigo was fighting when he heard the explosion and cursed as he recognized the cyborg self-destruct blast 'damn it; who was that' he thought as he heard a chuckle.
"One down, seven to go" Kakashi said as he readied his Kunai "how does it feel to lose those you care about once more; if my memory is correct, you killed the other experiments, did you not" Kakashi said and Ichigo growled.
"Shut up" Ichigo said as he readied his sword and charged at Kakashi "I killed you once and I'll do it again" Ichigo said as he slashed at Kakashi who dodged the Raijin no Ken. Kakashi using a kunai charged with a raikiri countered trying to slash or stab Ichigo. Ichigo dodged and ducked but was unable to dodge every attack.
Kakashi cut Ichigo across the chest spitting open his armor and causing blood to spray out; Ichigo's Muscles tensed up as the lightning caused his muscles to constrict. Kakashi brought back his arm and sent it forward in a attempt to stab Ichigo; Ichigo recovering from the previous attack brought up his sword and cut off Kakashi's hand. Ichigo followed up with a kick to Kakashi's chest sending him flying back.
Kakashi corrected himself and waited for his hand to reform but after a couple seconds he saw that his hand wasn't reforming 'what is this' Kakashi wondered 'the edo tensei should be repairing me by now' he thought.
'Why isn't he reforming' Ichigo wondered; Ichigo's eyes widened at the revelation 'of course this sword cuts through chakra and only chakra is what's keeping him bound to this world' he thought as a smile grew on his face. "Well, Kakashi looks like our fight just took a turn in my favor" Ichigo said as Kakashi took out a kunai and held it in his left hand.
'I can't let him hit me again' Kakashi though as Ichigo charged at him.
With Ino
Ino and Sai were dancing around each other as they clashed their blades; Sai slashed at Ino and Ino brought her sword up to block the attack. When both blades clashed, they locked and Ino twisted the blade bringing both down; Ino reached behind her back and took out a tanto sheathed on the small of her back.
Ino slashed at Sai with the tanto and Sai brought up his arm and grabbed Ino by the wrist stopping her attack; Sai was greeted by a foot to the face as Ino kicked him sending him stumbling back. Sai quickly recovered and took out his scroll and began to draw; when he was done, he made a hand sign and his beast came out from the scroll.
An ink dragon came out and was barreling towards Ino; Ino seeing this got into a low stance and got ready. When the ink dragon approached Ino jumped doing a flip avoiding the dragons' fangs and landing on its back; Ino charged up her sword with chakra and stabbed it into the dragon.
Ino began to run whole dragging the sword behind her cutting the dragon open; when Ino approached the tail she pulled out the sword and jumped off. The dragon dispelled into ink spilling onto the ground.
Ino got up and looked towards Sai who was approaching her at a rapid pace; Ino brought up her sword and blocked a slash from Sai. Sai then dispelled into ink making Ino go wide eyed 'a ink clone' Ino thought as she turned around just in time as Sai came from behind.
Ino dodged just in time as Sai thrusted his sword at her nicking her side causing a gash to from; Ino jumped away and got into a stance ignoring the wound she suffered.
"My, my Ino" Sai said "looks like in this time you are not the worthless woman I married; you actually have some skill" he said and Ino smirked.
"I got it from Ichigo; he taught me everything I know" Ino said making Sai frown "he's more of man than you could ever hope to be" she said and Sai got back into his stance.
"You'll pay for that comment girl" Sai said and Ino scoffed.
"Bring it pretty boy; I'll cut you down" Ino said as they both charged at each other.
With Hinata and Moro
Moro and Kiba were slashing away at each other with their claws inflicting wounds on each other; Moro swung her claws at Kiba slashing him across the face following up with a kick to the abdomen. Kiba caught Moro's leg and sunk his claws into her leg; Kiba using one hand lifted Moro up and slammed her into the ground.
Moro's face hit the ground hard as her nose broke and she got gashes across her face; Kiba was about to repeat the attack but was stopped when Hinata ran up with her twin lion fists. Hinata first aimed for Kiba's hand holding Moro's leg severing it; Hinata aimed the second one at Kiba's head but Kiba leaned back avoiding the hit. Moro regaining herself got up and slashed at Kiba with her claws scoring a hit on Kiba's gut; Kiba now on the back foot due to being attacked by both Hinata and Moro tried to gain some distance.
Kiba jumped back and stood on a wall; Kiba jumped towards Hinata and Moro and began to spin 'Fang over fan' Kiba thought as he aimed at the 2 women.
Hinata jumped forward and began to spin 'Rotation' Hinata using the Hyuga clans famed technique created a dome of chakra; Kiba did not expect this as the Hinata of his time line never learned that technique.
Kiba hit the chakra dome and bounced off as he was unable to penetrate the dome; as he veered off Kiba realized another 'Fang over Fang' coming towards him but it was different as it was light blue.
'8 Trigram Fang over Fang', Moro and Kiba were on a collision course as both were too close to dodge; both techniques collided as they began to grind against each other. Ultimately Moro's jutsu won as she cleaved through Kiba cutting him in half and severing an arm; Moro landed and immediately collapsed onto the ground bleeding heavily from her head wound.
Kiba not literally half the man he used to be was slowly reforming but not at a fast rate; he tried to crawl away but was stopped when Hinata stood over him with a scornful look on her face.
"H-Hinata, wait, wait" Kiba begged to the angry Hyuga "y-you don't have to do this, just let me leave; I swear I won't come back" he said. Kiba however was smirking on the inside; he knew Hinata was to soft hearted to finish off a defenseless man and once he was fully reformed, he would take her down as he knew Moro was out of action.
Hinata however stood over him forming a Lion fist in her right hand "Sorry Kiba" Hinata said making Kiba go wide eyed "I have no mercy in my heart for a monster like you" she said and Kiba began to shake.
"Wait- "Kiba began but was cut off when Hinata hit Kiba in the head with the lion fist destroying the tag inside and destroying what was keeping tethered to the world. Hinata saw as the dust vanished and the body of a man laid there bisected.
Moro then coughed regaining Hinata's attention and she ran over and began to scan her daughter 'she's got internal bleeding both in her body and in her brain' Hinata thought as she created a single shadow clone and began to heal Moro to stabilize her. "You did good Moro" Hinata said to her unconscious daughter "just let me handle the rest" she said as she healed her.
With Tsubaki and Karin
Tsubaki threw another punch at Sakura who blocked and countered with a punch of her own; Sakura hit Tsubaki in the jaw knocking several teeth loose and making her spit up blood. Sakura was about to hit Tsubaki again but her leg was grabbed by one of Karin's chakra chains.
Karin grabbed Sakura's leg holding her still while sending another towards her from behind; Sakura seeing the chain ducked under it but was greeted by a knee to the head from Tsubaki. Sakura unphased by the hit kicked Tsubaki in the gut sending her flying; Sakura then proceeded to grab the chakra chain holding her and pull Karin toward her. Sakura drove her arm down onto Karin sending her to the ground cracking both the concrete and her glasses; Sakura raised up her foot ready to crush Karin's head and finish her off.
"Die bitch" Sakura shouted; Sakura was about to kill Karin but was tackled by Tsubaki who took her to the ground and mounted her.
"Fuck you" Tsubaki shouted as she began to drive punches into Sakura's face in an attempt to destroy the seal inside her head. When Tsubaki was about to punch again her hand was grabbed by Sakura who had a angry look on her face.
"You little slut" Sakura said as she proceeded to snap Tsubaki's arm making the bone pop out of her skin; Tsubaki screamed as she used her other hand to hit Sakura's arm breaking it off. Sakura not bothered by the pain opened her hand and charged it up with chakra; Sakura used her other hand to spear Tsubaki in the stomach punching through to her back.
Tsubaki vomited up blood and could not scream no matter how badly she wanted to; Sakura proceeded to kick Tsubaki off of her as she landed a few yards away. Tsubaki began to cough and try to hold her guts in while fighting off the urge to pass out; Sakura got up and walked over to Tsubaki and looked down with an arrogant look.
"Looks like you lost this time girl" Sakura said as she balled up her fist "I'll make sure to send Tsunade my regards" Sakura said as she cocked back her fist. Before she could her arm was grabbed by a chakra chain; the chain proceeded to rip off Sakura's arm making her eyes widen in horror as her other arm hasn't reformed yet.
Sakura's body was then wrapped up and restrained by more chakra chains as Karin began to walk up and look at Sakura face to face; Karin without her glasses could not see Sakura's horrified face as she raised up her hand and held it to Sakura's head.
"You lose" Karin said as she sent a chakra chain out of her palm and into Sakura's head destroying the seal inside; Sakura's body began to turn to dust as now the body of a woman was all that was left.
Karin huffing and bleeding from her face wound walked over to Tsubaki who had a puddle of blood forming under her; Karin began to use medical ninjutsu heal and stabilize Tsubaki. Tsubaki let out a pained groan as Karin attempted to stabilize her "goddamn it; it's too slow" Karin said as she raised up her sleeve and put her arm into Tsubaki's mouth.
Karin then forced Tsubaki to bite her as her chakra began to go into Tsubaki healing her slightly; Karin feeling exhausted herself began to feel dizzy but tried to stay awake to help her friend 'hold on Tsubaki; I'll take care of you' Karin thought as she continued the healing process.
Karin listened as the sounds of battle raged all around and she began silently praying that it will end soon.
