A/N This is it.. the final chapter of Little Garden then we got to the Drum Island arc. This will be a long chapter but I will cut a few things.
Luffy and Vivi watch as Dorry slowly gets back on his feet. He turns around and grips the edges of his mountain. He finally lifts it up. He looks down at the straw hat captain.
"Whoa, he lifted that thing up. That's so cool!"
"HE PICKED UP THAT HUGE ROCK! THAT IS SO COOL!" Luffy exclaimed.
"Luffy..."Vivi gulped before backing away. Before Luffy had a chance to react, the boulder crashed down, trapping Luffy.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING! GET THIS OFF OF ME! MOVE IT!" He stops to see Drorry take his breath.
"It can't be helped now..." Drorry said.
"It's been over a century, since we've started the battle. This duel injured or not I cannot run away from this fight. To do so would be like running away from the title of warrior." He picks up his swords and looks down at Luffy. "If I was no longer a warrior of Elbaf then I will no longer know who I am. I'm sorry I suspected you of causing the explosion. I now know that this was judgment. A judgment from Elbaf, the god of war. I didn't have the god's protection and that's all." He finished as he makes his way towards his duel against Broggy. Luffy groaned and tries to hollowed at him.
"GODS AND DIVINE PROTECTION HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT'S GOING ON! IF A GOD TOLD YOU TO JUST RUN OFF AND DIE, WOULD YOU?" Dorry came to a halt.
"SOMEONE HAS INTERFERED WITH YOUR DUEL!" Luffy continued, "AND A DUEL THAT'S BEEN INTERFERED WITH ISN'T A FAIR FIGHT ANYMORE!"
"Silence..." Dorry stopped. "What do you know of this? You're a human and you haven't been living on this Earth for more than two decades! How can you possibly hope to understand the ways of the warriors of Elbaf!?" He asked as he left. Luffy growled and tried punching the mountain off of him.
"Get this darn thing off me! Hey, old guy, listen to me! Lift this rock already! Come on! Get back here! You can't leave me trapped like this!"
Broggy grabs his axe, readying himself for the fight with Dorry.
"Go, Master Broggy! Show this guy!" Usopp shouted cheerfully. He and Usopp laughs it off.
"You bet, Usopp, I'm going to beat him for sure this time. He doesn't stand a chance.
"Go get him, you great warrior! of Elbaf" Usopp cheered. "THE MIGHTY BROGGY ALWAYS DEFEATS HIS OPPONENTS!"
Broggy effortlessly stepped over the two pirates and proceeded to march into battle while Usopp cheered. "YOU CAN DO IT BROGGY! YOU'RE THE MIGHTIEST WARRIOR IN THIS WORLD! YOU CAN DESTROY HIM ANY DAY!"
"Why does he continue this pointless fight?" Questioned Nami. "How can you say something like this is pointless!? Broggy is a great warrior and that's just what I'm going to be someday! You have no right to say that you idiot!" Nami stands up and walks away from Usopp's rant.
"Let's focus on getting back to the ship. Waiting for a year, there's no freaking way. It's completely unacceptable. We need to get everyone back on the ship and come up with a plan." Nami said.
"Now we should head back to the ship." She said. She takes a look at her log pose. ""There's no freakin' way we're waiting here for a year. We need to get everyone back on the ship and come up with a plan."
"Hold it!" Usopp said. He then crossed his arms. "I for one don't think that we stand a chance fighting against dinosaurs. Cutting through the jungle in order to get back on the Merry won't do us any good if we get killed on the way, will it?" Nami turns around.
What happened to all of that Brave Warrior of the Sea stuff you've been going on about?" Nami asked.
"I said that someday I'd be a Brave Warrior of the Sea, I'm not yet. Besides, even a brave warrior has to have enough sense not to get himself killed." Usopp defended.
"Luffy's at that other giant's place. We should probably head over there."
"Even if I should lose everything one day and must face a horrible tragic death, alone on a deserted island. That is when I know I, Captain Usopp will have been a brave warrior of the sea!" He declared as dropped down. Nami sighed and dragged him with his bag.
"Yeah... but for now, you think you just try to be an dependable warrior.
"Right... let's go!" Usopp groaned.
The two giants crossed paths once more, gearing up for another showdown. Broggy says his signature laugh.
"Dorry, how was your drink? Hits the spot, doesn't it?"
"Yes..." Confirmed Drorry. "It almost tasted Godly. Broggy laughs again.
"Well, I'm glad that you enjoyed it! I've feeling very lucky!" Broggy chuckled. "
"Glad that you enjoyed it, let's go!" They were back at it, locked in their never-ending fight. Meanwhile, Luffy was on the other side, trying to get free from the mountain that had him pinned down. He keeps on pouncing it.
"Who was it? Who would dare to interfere?" Luffy angrily asked. "I'll kill them!" Vivi gives him a puzzled look.
"I don't understand why he's so upset over someone he's just met. He sure doesn't seem like a hardened criminal with a bounty on his head." She wondered. Then something came back to her.
"Hey, Luffy... Karoo is missing."
Somewhere in the Forrest, Vivi's missing duck. He was frightened by the giants fighting and got lost. He stopped to take a breath and took a sip of his drink.
"Hey..." A voice called. "Isn't this the ugly bird the princess always hangs around with?" He spits out his drink. He slowly turns around in surprise when he sees Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine. The blonde haired Lady laughs evilly making Karoo scream in terror and slowly walks away.
"Don't leave." Mr. 5 stopped. Karoo screamed. "Well now, we're happy to run into you. In fact, there's a little something we'd like to ask you to do for us."
Naruto sprinted through the jungle, his heart thumping like a bass drum. He had this gut feeling that Sakura was in some kind of trouble, and he couldn't just shake it off. As he zipped around a bend, he caught sight of her—or at least he thought he did. She was trapped under a huge boulder, but something seemed off. Her face looked weird, like she was trying not to crack up laughing.
"Sakura?" Naruto called out, confused, with his brows knitting together. He moved a bit closer, but something just wasn't right. Before he could piece it all together, a cold, wet sensation hit his back. He spun around just in time to spot Mr. 3, stepping out from behind a tree.
Zoro, carrying the dead triceratops scratched his head in confusion.
"Well, this isn't good..." He mumbled."This isn't good. I'm lost. This tree looks familiar but it's kind of hard to tell in this place." He examines he tree's standing next too.
"This tree looks familiar, but it's kind of hard to tell in this place... I think I was supposed to take a left of the tree wrapped in vines." He glances over and sees a familiar Navigator resting against a tree with her arms crossed.
"Oh, hey Nami. It's you! "It seems I got lost! Heh heh! Looks like you've got some pretty good timing, I didn't know what I was gonna do." He said As he dragged the lifeless triceratops, he walked up to her. "So, what are you doing in this area, huh?" He gets closer and noticed something... off.
"Nami?" He never noticed two eyes were watching him.
Meanwhile the real Nami and Usopp is running away from a dinosaur.
"OH CRAP! IT'S ANOTHER DINOSAUR!" She screamed.
"Get away, get away!" He screamed. He took off leaving Nami behind as he sped off.
"Usopp, wait up!" She screamed with sharp teeth and white eyes. She stopped to take her breath. She then looks with relief that her captain is leaning next to a tree waving.
"Luffy." She walks up to him. "Boy is it a relief to see you. So what are you doing here, anyway?" She looks closer and frowned. Before she knows it, she got caught up, trapped in a whitish, gel-like material.
"AGHH!"
Usopp was still running away from the Dinosaur. He then puts a stop to notice that he is alone.
"Uh, Nami?" He turns around and sees that she is out of sight. There was no trace of her. He feels his feet shivering.
"Nami... Nami?" He called. "Where did you go?!
"LUFFY! NARUTO!" He screamed.
Usopp speeds up through the trees, searching for his two friends. He then bumps his into a rock but Luckily he found Luffy and Vivi there.
"I HAVE SOME TERRIBLE NEWS! A DINOSAUR'S ATE NAMI!"
"WHAT, NO WAY!" Luffy's eyes wide bugged.
"We were running through the jungle to see you guys!" Usopp explained. "But then this huge dinosaur came out of nowhere! Nami and I ran off and we heard the roar of another dinosaur. We kept running and suddenly I Turned around and it must've gotten her!" He then cried. "I gotten my friend killed!" He and Luffy screamed in terror while Vivi was composed.
"Hey, Calm down... just listen to me for a second." They both turned to Vivi as she continued. "If she was there one moment and gone the next, you can't know for sure what happened."
"Well no, it's not like I could stop and check!" Usopp shouted out. "I would've been eaten too! It was either a dinosaur or some other wild beast, WHAT ELSE COULD IT POSSIBLY BE?" Vivi sighed.
"I don't know for sure..."But… if Baroque Works followed us from Whisky Peak, it would make sense for them to capture Nami… and not you. I think we may be in great danger. We should go."
"You mean Baroque Works is here on the island with us?" Usopped asked.
"Yes..." Confirmed Vivi. "And if we're not careful... they could find Naruto, Sakura, or Zoro." Usopp nodded then was puzzled about something.
"Why capture them and not me?" He asked.
"Because you haven't gotten in their way." Vivi answered. "You and Sanji are the only ones aren't on their assassination list. Now that I think about it… I bet that booby trapped alcohol was meant to get us instead!"
"Huh?"
"What did you say about alcohol?" Usopp asked.
"Broggy gave Dorry some alcohol that must've been tampered with and exploded"
"Wait..." Usopp stopped. "He was injured that badly and he still went off?"
"I tried to stop him and that's how I ended up like this." Luffy stated.
Not too far, Dorry and Broggy were still brawling. Broggy swung his awe against Drorry. What they were unaware of is that they are being watched by Mr.3 and Miss Goldenweek while having a picnic under the trees. Mr. 3 was sipping his tea and Miss Goldenweek was eating Rice crackers.
"Well, He keeps on fighting." The girl said.
"Hmm. He certainly is stubborn. That Dorry the blue Ogre." Mr. 3 sipped. "Hoohoohmhm! Well I should lend some assistance." He finished with a smirk. The tip of his hair turned into a flame and sprayed his white subtance at the ground, causing Dorry to slip. Broggy laughs that he has an advantage and finally strikes him down with his axe. Luffy, Vivi and Usopp could see Dorry's blood squirt up in the air. Luffy's face changed from shock to anger. He growled and starts banging on his head.
"Stop it, Luffy!" Usopp said.
"Calm down!" Vivi said.
"WHO WAS IT?!" Luffy screamed. "WHO DID THIS!?"
Broggy stood over beside Dorry, breathing heavily, he started to feel some remorse.
"These fights..." He panted. "73,466 duels."73,466 draws... and..." He sniffed and started crying. "One win." He lets go of his axe and shield, feeling a mix of triumph and loss. Sure, he won, but was it worth losing his friendly rival? Suddenly, an ominous laugh echoes around him. He turns around to see Mr. 3 drinking his tea.
"Do I sense tears of joy? I doubt that happiness will last long." He sips from his cup. "But for now, I offer my congratulations."
"Did you say happiness?" Questioned Broggy. "You know nothing! Who are you, little man?"
"I am Mr. 3." He introduced, smugly. That's a codename of course which is necessary in my line of work I'm afraid. I'm an artist of sorts. And this is my assistant. All the best artists require assistants, her name is Ms. Goldenweek.
I tell you all of this because I've already caught you in one of my artworks."
"Huh?" Broggy asked then widens his eyes to see White substance surrounded his feet, reaching halfway to his knees, keeping him firmly stuck to the ground.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?!" He tried to move but couldn't budge.
Usopp turns to Luffy with Determination to find the people responsible for this atrocity that Baroque works interfered with this and kidnapped Nami.
"Right, Luffy... let's go! I have no idea who we're dealing with. But I'm gonna take care of them myself!"
"I'll come too Usopp..." Vivi offered.
"Good, having you with me will be reassuring..." He said with relief.
"You're not going anywhere..." A familiar voice said. The three pirates looked up to see familiar enemies. Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine. Mr 5 demonstrated that he has Karoo and is all beaten up. He throws him to the ground. Vivi gasped and runs to his side.
"You can have him back, we don't need him." Mr. 5 taunted. It made Miss Valentine laugh.
"Karoo." Vivi cried as she held his beak.
"Why you!" Usopp growled in anger. He turns to Luffy. "Who are these guys?"
"The Bullies from the last Island." Luffy explained. Vivi turns to her enemies in anger.
"KAROO HAS NEVER DONE ANYTHING TO YOU..." Vivi shouts in rage. "WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO HIM?"
"You're right..." Mr.5 grinned "We had no need to retaliate against your ugly bird. But we needed to get our hands on that Straw Hat friend of yours. The plan was simple, we'd get the bird to cry out and lure you and out into the jungle and away from Straw Hat. But the stupid bird refused to cooperate. But then we realized that the straw hat was already trapped here waiting for us. So, we didn't need that thing anymore."
Vivi holds onto her loyal duck who quacked weakly. Miss Valentines lets out a laugh.
"What a dumb bird." Miss Valentine taunted. Hearing that made Vivi furious.
"I'll kill you..."
"And Where's Nami?" Luffy asked.
"I bet you planned that bomb On Dorry's drink!" Usopp pointed. Mr. 5 smirked proudly.
"Yeah... that's us... and as for your friend... she's fine... with your other friends. We don't know where the pink-haired one is but no matter." He stated. "Who is this guy? Is he on the list?"
"No, he's just a friend of theirs but let's get rid of him..." Miss Valentine said.
"How about I get rid of you?!" Vivi yelled as she takes out her peacock Slasher.
"Aww… it's just so cute when you fight, Ms. Wednesday," Mr. 5 taunted. Vivi rushes towards the two villains. Usopp joins her, bringing out his slingshot. "EXPLODING STAR!" Usopp aimed his slingshot and launched the projectile towards Mr. 5. He raised his fist.
"Gotchya..." He cheered. Suddenly, he hears laughter and than sees Miss Valentines flying out of the smoke.
"Wrong!" Usopp gulped.
"Nose-fancy canon!" A booger shot out from the smoke, smacked right into Usopp's chest, and burst.
"Did you get burnt?" She grinned evilly. "10,000 KILO PRESS!" She uses her weight and crashes on the burnt sniper.
"USOPP!" Luffy cried. Vivi swings her weapons towards Mr. 5. He wasn't intiminated. In fact, he tripped her and caused an explosion, causing her to leap backwards and catches the princess and grabs her by the neck.
"Just calm down..." He smirked. "There's no no need to get so upset right now Princess. We aren't planning to kill you yet. We only came here to abduct you. Those were Mr. 3's explicit orders." Vivi's eyes widened.
"Mr. 3?" She questioned. "The wax-wax fruit man? He's here on the Island with us?"
"That's right." He confirmed. "Mr. 3 the candle man. "Mr. 3 the Candle Man. His body makes wax which he can control as he likes."
"A Candle Man?" Luffy gasped. Vivi was trying to make her escape but her arm was twisted by Miss Valentines. "Stand still like a good little girl. Did you actually think that someone like you could escape from an organization like Baroque Works?"
"Grrr…" She sees Mr. 3 stands next to Luffy who is trapped by the island and knocks him down. Vivi stares in horror.
"After all... Your friend over there has a big bounty on his head and look at what happened to him!" Mr. 3 smirked at the straw hat captain.
Consider this our thank you for what happened at Whisky Peak. You should learn to mind your own business, you pathetic group of wanna-be pirates. It would be quite beneficial to your health. By the way, we already have your first mate, your swordsman friend and we captured the other girl you brought along with you as well."
"Ugghh… so you… caught… Naruto and Zoro?" Luffy groaned.
"Damn right," Mr. 5 answered.
"In that case… you're in more trouble than I thought." Luffy declared.
"We'll see what he got after one of my kicking bombs blows up that little face of yours." Mr. 5 said.
"Try whatever trick you want... I am gonna kick your ass!" Luffy then spits on his shoe. Mr. 5 coldly stars at Luffy. Miss Valentine smirked while Vivi states in horror.
"This should be fun..." Mr. 5 swings his legs at Luffy and it caused an explosion.
"LUFFY, NO!" Vivi gasped. Mr. 5 kicks him repeatedly until he was knocked down. Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine walks away from the group dragging Vivi with them
"LUFFY! USOPP! KAROO!" She cried.
Sakura wriggled through the tight gap, her heart racing with a blend of thrill and relief. The light from the outside world streamed through the slit above her. She can almost see the sun.
"Almost there..." She muttered. With a final push, she pulled herself out of the cave, her muscles aching but her mind calm. She's got this awful sense that something's wrong. It feels like Naruto and the crew might be in trouble. So, she dashes over to the island to check if they're alright.
Broggy snarled in frustration, caught in Mr. 3's hardened wax. Despite his efforts, it was just too strong for him.
"Damn you!" he shouted at the agent, while Mr. 3 laughed wickedly at his distress.
"Once my Candle Jacket solidifies around you it'll become as hard as steel and impossible to break through." Broggy still was trying to escape but no avail. "There's no denying that you giants are very strong. But once you're captured that strength doesn't do you any good. All I had to do was use my brain. There was no sense in trying to defeat you in a physical fight. You were so busy enjoying your win, that capturing you was easy!"
"Don't glare at me like that, it's positively terrifying!" Mr. 3 mocked sadistically. "You should be celebrating, shouldn't you? At long last your battle with Dorry the Blue Ogre has come to an end. You fought on this island for a hundred years for your precious pride. Shouldn't such a long-lasting battle make victory all the more sweet? I mean really, it's an accomplishment… even if it required a little outside help. Come on… give me little smile!"
"SHUT UP! WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS?!" Broggy yelled. Mr. 3 3 felt something and looked behind to see Miss Valentine holding Vivi's arms.
"Mr.3..." Vivi snarled.
"Here's the girl..." Miss Valentine smirked while twisting it and it caused the Princess to yell out in pain.
"Alabasta's sneaky spy..." Mr. 5 said.
"It's about time," Mr. 3 commented. "I was positively sick of waiting!"
"YOU'RE FULL OF NOTHING BUT DIRTY TRICKS!" Vivi shouted. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU! PUTTING A BOMB IN MR. DORRY'S ALCOHOL WAS LOW, EVEN FOR YOU!" Hearing that caused Broggy's eyes to widen.
"Hmph, you're an annoying little girl, Princess," Mr. 3 frowned. "How could you give away our secrets like that?" He then transformed his expression into a smile, "But that's alright, there isn't anything he can do about it now anyway." Mr. 3's hair then ignites into a small flame and shoots at Vivi.
"Candle... Lock!" Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine jumped out as the wax hit Vivi's legs and trapping them, causing her to fall on her knees. Mr. 3 smirked and looks at his co-horts.
"Bring me the girl, the first mate and the swordsman. It's time to begin." He ordered. He then used his wax powers and shouted... "Candle... Service set!" The wax transforms into a substantial cake featuring a massive pumpkin head, adorned with candles rotating at the top. "Giant candle cake!" Vivi gasped.
"So that's Mr. 3's powers..." She said.
"Here are the others.." Mr. 5 said. Vivi turns around to see him throwing Naruto, Nami and Vivi captured like she was. Only they had wax locks tying their hands. Naruto growls in anger then turns to see Vivi.
"Vivi?"
"It's just sad..." Mr. 5 commented as he stomped his foot on Naruto's head. "Idiots like these should've been a lot easier for me to catch from the first time. How embarrassing…"
"No need to be ashamed." Mr. 3 stated. "You can't help the fact that you're weak after-all."
"WHAT WAS THAT?" Mr. 5 asked, mishearing what Mr. 3 said.
"it was nothing..." Mr. 3 lied. "Now let's just hurry up and get these candles up."
"Candles?" Nami asked. She looked up and gasped to see the spinning candles. "What is that thing?"
"Whatever it is... it doesn't look like a good cake to eat." Naruto said. Nami turned to him.
"Naruto?" She asked. "Weren't you with Luffy and Vivi?"
"I was looking for Sakura." Naruto explained. "And then I got caught."
"I'm sorry you guys." Vivi apologized.
"Vivi, what happened?! I thought that you were with Luffy!" Nami shouted.
"I was but..."
If you're wondering about the Straw Hat, I saw to that little runt myself." Mr. 5 gloated.
"Yeah, right." Naruto scoffed. "And I am dating Hinata..." He mumbled. He then shivered. Somehow saying that... makes him queasy. He was then positioned on the cake with Nami to his left, Zoro next to her, and Vivi on Zoro's left side. He then hears Mr. 3 giggling.
"HOOHOOHAAHAAHAAA! WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO MY GIANT CANDLE SERVICE SET!"
"I guess this is what it feels like... to be a candle stuck on a birthday cake." Zoro said. Naruto then chuckled nervously.
"Yeah... Not that I wouldn't know about birthday cakes." Nami was about to ask what he means but something caught her eyes.
"Guys... what's that spinning?" Naruto, Vivi, and Zoro glanced up to spot a massive pumpkin face twirling around, its candles flickering. Nami tried to shift her feet, but they wouldn't move. They were bound tightly.
"I can't move... great."
"Well, duh, Nami." Naruto replied. "It's obvious they don't want us to move. That's what being captured means..." Zoro pulled out one of his swords to slice the cake, but it didn't work. The cake was as solid as ice.
"Damn... this stuff's hard... I can't put much strength behind my swing from this angle."
"Something's falling." Vivi announced. Her friends look to see flakes that look white as snow falling. They heard laughter coming from Mr. 3. Naruto stared at him with anger.
"I do hope you enjoy my Candle Service Set. You may have noticed the way flakes that are falling from above… you will eventually be covered and turned into wax figures. You will become perfectly life-like statues for my collection, something that even I couldn't achieve on my own! I will literally capture your spirits and encase them forever in wax shells! Hoohoohahaha! It will be a true masterpiece! You will die for my art!"
"What?" Naruto gasped. "SCREW THAT! I HAVE NO PLANS OF DYING FOR YOUR SICK 'ART!'"
"HEY, GIANT!" Nami cuts in. "WHY ARE YOU LYING THERE DOING NOTHING WHEN YOU COULD BE BEATING THE CRAP OUT OF THIS CANDLE GUY?"
"He's gonna make one huge statue." Stated Zoro. Naruto glared at Zoro what Zoro said.
"Hmmm, you can try to convince him but your efforts will be useless!" Mr.3 told them. "He's a little blue at the moment. You see, he's just realized how unfairly he won his last fight and he's lost the heart to celebrate. He killed his dear friend Dorry with whom he had fought for one hundred years! Dorry was injured but he didn't notice. Just imagine how much pain Dorry must have been in! He didn't stand a chance!"
"Grgh!" Naruto grunted. "When I get down here... First... I'm gonna punch your face and laugh at you! How would you like that?"
"Empty threats, Ninja..." Mr. 3 scoffed.
"I should've seen it." He turned around to see Broggy spoke. " I knew that something strange was going on. From the moment that we first began to fight, I knew that Dorry was hiding something, but I couldn't tell what it was."
"You say that you knew it?" Mr. 3 smiled. You're lying! If you knew something was wrong, why didn't you stop the fight? Why didn't you give him the chance to rest? I didn't see one shred of pity in the way you ruthlessly cut him down!" He laugh
"GRR… YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HONORABLE DUELS!" Broggy called out. "You know nothing about honorable duels! Someone like you would never understand my tears. What do you know about the way of Elbaf!? You think that I would shame a warrior who hid the fact that he was beaten so he can continue to fight!? Only a truly great warrior would go to such lengths!"
"You tell him, Broggy!" Naruto cheered. He looks at Mr. 3 who crossed his arms and frowned. He also sensed fear in him.
"Now I know what really happened and I must do something about it. I'm going punch your face with my own two hands! That's the least that I can do for Dorry, my dear friend!" Mr. 3 started backing away. With his newfound strength, Broggy tears apart his cuffs causing them to break away and go free.
"That's the least I can do for Dorry! He was a great warrior and my dear friend!" But before he could attack, Mr. 5 threw one of his booger pellets at him and causing him to fall back down.
"BROGGY!" Naruto, Nami and Vivi cried.
"His chatter was getting on my nerves." Mr.5 said.
Sakura raced through the jungle, her heart racing with anxiety. She's gotta find Naruto and the other Strawhats, She picked up her pace, her feet barely touching the rough ground.
At last, she dashed into the clearing where Dorry's spot was. She came to a complete stop, her eyes widening in disbelief. She sees Luffy trapped under a mountain, Usopp and Karoo all beaten up. She sees Luffy stirring, feeling relieved that he's alive.
"GUYS!" Sakura cried. Luffy turns his around and squints his eyes . He spots a familiar pink haired young woman with a purple pirate hat.
"S-sakura!" He coughed.
"What happened?"
"T-those Baroque Works jerks came and attacked us and captured Vivi." Luffy stuttered.
"What?" Sakura's eyes widened. "They also claimed they captured Naruto, Nami and Zoro!" Sakura let out a gasp and put her hand over her mouth. Her eyes were filled with concern as she glanced at the woods.
"Naruto..." She whispered, worried for the love of her life. She then gives a determined look then feel something behind her. She turned around to see Karoo digging Luffy out of the mountain.
"You can't...take this either?" Luffy asks. Karoo responded with a loud quack. Luffy then changed his expression to a smile. "Alright! Then it's settled! Let's go kick their asses!"
"While you dig him out, I'm gonna give Usopp some medicine." Sakura stated as she rushes to Usopp aid and opened a potion full of liquid medicine she made before the cave collapsed on her.
"Drink up, Usopp. The others are counting on us..." Sakura stated.
"Are you okay, Broggy?" Naruto asked. He then tries look for a way to escape. His thoughts were interrupted by Miss Valentine laughing.
"What a fool!" She mocked. Naruto's eyes widen when Mr. 3's arms turned into wax and yelled.
"Wax-Wax.. Handcuffs!" With that, he created wax and used them to cover Broggy's hands and feet. Vivi and Naruto snarled.
"You sadistic bastard!" Vivi's stared at them with a cold glare
"YOU REALLY ARE DESPICABLE!" She cried.
"Yeah... and I got two words... FUCK YOU!" Naruto shouted and extended his middle finger. But Mr. 3 just shrugged them off and put his hands up.
"Now! Let's get these candles going faster! It's time to turn these people into beautiful, artistic wax statues!" He cackled as the cake started spinning faster and the wax started to cover the captives.
"My chest hurts..." Naruto coughed.
"Mine too." Said Nami. "The the wax is starting to get into our lungs… at this rate he's going to turn us into wax from the inside out!" Mr. 3 laughed.
"That's it! Make it look like you're in as much pain a possible! That's perfect! Expressions of agony are what I seek to achieve in my art! The finished product will be simply splendid! You must die filled with terror!"
"This is what you call art, you creepy, weird haired freak?! Nami asked. "YOU GUYS ARE GONNA REGRET THIS! YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO BROGGY AND DORRY! AND FOR WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO DO TO US!"
"You can yell and scream all you want too, little girl..." Mr. 3 taunted. "No one will help you now..." Nami started to feel stiff.
"This isn't good. My hands won't move. Can't we do something? I don't wanna die like this."
"My body is becoming stiff." Vivi cried out in panic. "What are we supposed to do?" Zoro glances over at the giant. He's trying to come up with a plan. It's a crazy idea, but it might be their only shot at getting out of this.
"Hey giant, you can still move right?" He asked Broggy.
"Uh-huh." Broggy confirmed.
"Good." Zoro smirked. Naruto looked confused until he realizes Zoro's plan. He sees Zoro flicked out his swords. "I say we take 'em down together. What do you think?" Everyone but Naruto gasped.
"Zoro... you're not doing what I think you're doing, right?"
"Wait.." Nami said... She then sees him pointing to his legs. "Are you...?"
"Yep."
YOU'RE NOT GONNA CUT YOUR OWN LEGS OFF!"
"He is, Nami." Naruto stated. "I saw it coming from here."
"Are you insane?" Vivi questioned. "Even if you get down from here, you won't get far without legs!"
"I'm gonna have to agree with the girls on this.
"Yeah, Naruto agrees and he's just as dumb as Luffy!" Naruto nodded
"Yeah... that''s.." He then blinked then glared at Nami. "HEY!"
"So are you saying you'd rather just sit here and die? Why should we make it easy for those guys to kill us? Dying quietly without a struggle doesn't make you any less dead. Right?"
"That runt's got spirit. I'll give him that. He's doing better than I am. I had actually begun to lose the will to fight. Is this what One-Eye was talking about? I was so content to die as Elbaph had planned that I couldn't think about fighting for myself." "ALRIGHT I'M IN! LET'S CUT THEM TO PIECES!"
"You're not serious about this, are you? How are you planning on fighting them afterward?"
"Who knows?" Zoro shrugged. "But... I plan to win." Naruto stared at him. He then shakes his free hand and looks over at the woods.
"He's got a point... even if it means risking it all, we can't back down without putting up a fight. That's what being a ninja is all about. Plus, we can't let them believe we're scared of them. It really bothers them when we stand our ground without fear." Vivi was staring at him with shock and confusion.
"What kind of man is he?" Vivi asked. "Why? Why do I feel like I've seen that look somewhere before?" She then thinks back to her late friend Igaram.
"Some times it takes more strength to live than to die."
"WAIT, I'LL FIGHT WITH YOU!" Vivi decided. Nami turns in shock.
"What, Vivi..." NAMI cried.
"I'm in too." Naruto said as he clenches his hands. "I am looking forward to punch that guy in the face."
"Good, get ready..." Zoro said. They hear Broggy attempting to shake off the wax.
"AND NOW… LET'S GO!" He announced. Mr. 3 scoffed and got into a battle stance.
"Don't be foolish!" Mr. 3 shouts. "What do you hope to accomplish?" Zoro sliced his legs, making Nami turns way. Suddenly, they heard the sound of trees being knocked down. Turning their attention, they saw Luffy, Sakura, Usopp, and Karoo zooming by Baroque Works. The villains spun around, bewildered.
"WHEN I GET BACK I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASSES!" Luffy declared before he and the others plunged into the jungle. After that collusion, They returned. Luffy secured his hat, Sakura clenched her fist, and Usopp readied his slingshot.
"LET'S GET 'EM GUYS!" Luffy ordered.
"Right!" Both Sakura and Usopp in unison
"Sakura!" Naruto cheered.
"Luffy!" Nami cried with relief. "Usopp."
"Karoo!" Vivi said, feeling relief wash over her knowing her duck was okay.
"We're here, Broggy." Usopp said. "Don't worry we'll pick up where you left off." Usopp proclaims, goggles over his eyes.
"Thanks, Usopp." Broggy expressed.
"Beat them beyond recognition! Show 'em 'expressions of pain and agony' they won't soon forget!" Nami cheered.
"Yeah... Kick their guys ass!" Sakura looked over and gasped to see them stuck on a birthday cake.
"What happened to you guys?" She queried.
"Long story short... This asshole here, captured us and set us up to his wax-figures." Naruto explained. Sakura nodded.
"Don't worry, we'll get you guys down..." She promised then got into a battle stance. Luffy gasped and pointed.
"WHOA, LOOK AT THAT GUY'S HAIR!" He said.
"JUST SHUT UP!" he shouted. Naruto couldn't help but chuckle a bit, amused by his reaction. He then glanced over at Zoro, looking totally shocked.
"Uh, Zoro... your legs are bleeding."
"Uh, yeah. I made it halfway through." Zorro shrugged like. making it seem like he has a scratch. He then turns to Luffy.
"So Luffy what do you think? Go ahead and take care of this pillar for us. I think I've done enough." Zoro said. Luffy nodded and faced Mr. 3.
"Yeah... I got this." Sakura pounded her first. "I got the girl... she looks familiar to me and let's say hitting her like hitting my friend back at home."
Sakura: Bring it on, Pig!
Naruto: Sakura can do this. I have faith in her,
Usopp: Wait a minute... I know how to save them!
Mr.3: NO!
Luffy: On the next Shiniobi X Straw Hat... Sakura's personal fight with Miss Valentine. Usopp plans ahead. I am gonna be King of the Pirates!
Naruto: And I am gonna be Hokage.
Whoa... Bet you didn't see that coming? Sakura being the one to help Luffy save them? Usually it's Naruto but I wanted Sakura to be the one to help him and Usopp. I wanna warn you... the final fight will be shorter because I wanna end this arc and get to Drum Island.
